I cant believe i didnt find this sooner. Its so underrated . Its marked as a “medium coverage “ no, it’s definitely full coverage. Its so light weight and it definitely lasts. I love that it has zero sent and is made for sensitive skin. Acne prone skin types can uses this with worry breaking out. The only complaint is the shade range. I am a ginger with a neutral undertone so i did get the lightest shade with neutral undertone and its a little dark. However , it doesn’t Oxidize so its workable . I was able to use concealer to make it a perfect match. I got shade cream 10n. The best part i found it at khols for 60 percent off so go check your local Khols.billie.c

Love love love Dermablend!!!! I've used this line for years and years. Not only do I have sensitive skin but also dark spots to be covered and this is fantastic!!! It covers well and its great for the skin!! That's a double plus! Wether or not you have oily skin, dry, combination..there is a product for you and I never rave on a product so much but I'd be lost without having some Dermablend products on hand everyday. I have probably bought the entire line at some point because I use different coverages depending on the seasons and the changes in my skin. I could go on and on but you will not regret anything you pick up from Dermablend!!! I purchased this based on a review I saw on youtube and oh.my. gosh. It's so worth the $38. I have dry skin and this doesn't cling to any dry patches. It makes my skin look smooth and hydrated and doesn't show any sort of texture. It covers all my acne scars and the light discoloration I have from old acne scars. I've applied this with a beauty blender sponge as well as a brush and both ways gave me great coverage and it was very easy to blend. I do prefer the sponge better but I usually always do. I like that it's got SPF 25 in it so I don't have to worry about applying sunscreen before hand ( I always forget). It's not completely transfer proof but I would say it's one of the more mask friendly foundations I've used lately without feeling really heavy on my face. If you've got normal to dry skin, you should definitely try this foundation. I think you'll love it.tiffanie.y

I've bought this foundation twice already, it's just a super reliable workhorse foundation. It goes on my face smoothly without emphasizing dry patches (I have very dry sensitive skin) and I love that it takes a few minutes to dry so I can move it around with my brush without making it streaky/patchy. It dries down to a natural finish, slightly radiant without looking oily. When I first got it I had oily skin, and now it's dry, so I think this foundation is suitable for all skin types. The best part about this is that it truly does not oxidize and turn orange/dark throughout the day. I found out because I bought a too-light color the first time, put it on thinking "oh well it will get darker later" and was surprised when I looked just as ghostly in the afternoon!Helen

So I have been using this foundation everyday for a couple of years now and I have found that it's great for super sensitive acne prone skin. This foundation is very long lasting, yet doesn't feel heavy, cakey or leave a film on your skin when you try to wash it off. It has the best natural finish that looks like actual skin and doesn't transfer or wipe off throughout the day. I have applied it various ways, but have found that using 1 pump and applying it with my hands and then going in with a beauty blender to smooth certain areas is the best way to apply it. Less is definitely more with this foundation, but you can always build it up and add concealer over it where you feel you need coverage. For reference, I am the shade NC20 in Mac foundation and I use the shade 2.16 in this foundation and it's a perfect match for me!Koko

I purchased this in shade 1.05 after seeing it posted as a dupe for the discontinued NYX BB Cream in Nude, which was my holy grail color match for my fair olive skin tone. I love it! It's another perfect match for me. When I first applied it, I was a little worried that it would highlight my skin texture, but after blending it laid down really nicely. It has the ideal "your skin but better" finish and doesn't exacerbate my dryness. Like the NYX BB Cream, it's buildable, so you can opt for a BB cream-style single layer or build it up to medium coverage with additional layers or adding concealer. I applied a second layer and some spot concealing to cover my dark spots and healing acne, and it never looked cakey. Frankly, even with the second layer, it didn't "look like makeup" sitting on my skin – it just looked like my skin! If you're familiar with the NYX BB Cream, this obviously is more of a foundation formula and is slightly more matte in finish, but I think you'll be pleased with the shade match and dry-down! I'm delighted to find a perfect shade match in a formula/finish I can wear for both every day and full glam. It's so weird. I originally bought this product a month or two ago in the shade Light. I'm usually NC15 and it looked like a good match for me online. I got it, and it was darker than I thought but not outrageously so, just enough that it bothered me. However, the formula and coverage itself was wonderful and became my every day foundation even if the shade wasn't the match I wanted. So then I went ahead and bought the Fair, hoping it'd be a better match, and even if it was too pale, it's almost winter time anyway. The color match was better this time with the Fair. However this one keeps coming out dry and patchy and separates on my skin and I look crusty! I bought these two tubes mere months apart, so this inconsistency is super concerning!Janet

I am 60 years old, with dry, sensitive, post-menopausal skin. I have fine lines, redness and enlarged pores to consider, when using complexion products. My skin is light with pink tones. I look for clean formulas without chemical sunscreen. I just could not find a medium-coverage foundation that is not matte (looks dry and settles in lines) and not dewy (transfers easily and emphasizes pores). I have tried so many products, have read all the reviews, and have heeded store employees' advice. And yet, my holy grail foundation remained out of reach. Until I tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation. PROS: This formula grips to my primer without mottling and is not drying nor dewy. It is comfortable on the skin and protects my skin without irritation. The wear is very good, providing a skin-like finish that can handle the occasional hot flash. I was able to find a good shade match. I like the pump tube component. CONS: This product is only offered at Ulta and the brand website, so I worry about the company discontinuing it for lack of volume sales. There are only 12 shades, so there may be challenges for some skintones. My Fair/Light shade is the only one not offered by Ulta in the just-released value size.DestinTart

I'll start off by saying I was NOT a fan of It's original cc cream… It was too heavy, but worse still, were the shades. I'm usually a "light" or "light/medium" and their "light" is a hideous yellow color with a very GRAY cast to it. Their "medium" is just pumpkin orange on me. So I could never find a match. On a whim, I tried their "Bye Bye" foundation in the shade light/medium though. And to my shock, this shade was pretty much a PERFECT match. So my advice is, IGNORE what they say the "undertones" are… The light/medium is NOT cool toned. If anything it is warm/neutral. And I'd look at the newer shades they make because I honestly think they are much better and more realistic looking. Also, the formula of this foundation is incredible. It is literally the ONLY thing I've ever found to replace my beloved and very expensive, Chantecaille "Future Skin" foundation. It doesn't settle into fine lines AT ALL and it looks great all day. And when I do a "half and half" test (meaning put the "bye bye" foundation on one half of my face vs. another foundation) it wins EVERY TIME! The ONLY downside is how difficult this foundation is to get out of things. It sticks in makeup brushes like I've never seen and is murder to wash out. Other than that though, this is perfection. It pairs PERFECTLY with their "bye bye" illuminating concealer. I tried their "illuminating" cc cream too and it was a glittery disaster!! But just like their illuminating concealer which has NO glitter, the "Bye Bye" foundation ALSO has no glitter– just diamond powder in it. So you get a subtle glow with this foundation with NO glittery residue!Marinajc

Shade Almond. First day trying this. It’s actually really good!! I’m normal to oily skin (T-zone area oily only & some forehead) I used a primer water spray, then a Matte primer (makeup revolution niaci.) elf hydrating concealer, & Laura mercier powder! I LOVED that combo! I definitely recommend this BUUUUT I did use like 5 pumps. I had to use 3 pumps then wait to set a few second then add 2 more pumps. I don’t mind, but it does claim medium coverage, so I can’t be too mad. I just wished I used less pumps. Also, I use a sponge but also used a brush to tap into my skin (cheek area only) then back to bouncing with my beauty blender. Hope this helps. For ref I got shade: Almond and it’s like 95%-97% match. Really good! I definitely rec this product. It was matte but nice and soft. It maybe reminded me of Fenty (with ‘more pumps tough).. for REFERENCE I also use 1.02 (warm olive) in smashbox, light 45 Neutral for KVD beauty, Light 22 N or 20S for tarte FT foundation, and 140 & 150 mix from Fenty. I also use shade Fair in LA Girl, Fair beige 008 in Catrice, & in Maybelline FIT Me foundation I use shade 125 & a liiiiittle bit of mix of 128. I Hope this helps. I ran out of my usual foundation and I saw this online discounted for a sensational price so I figured I'd try this since I've tried other products from this brand previously with remarkable results. When it arrived the packaging was simple ( which I like ) and arrived in perfect condition. It is a pump, which is another plus because you can control how much comes out. I ordered the shade honey and it is exactly how it appeared in the try it on feature on the brands website. Application was simple enough I used my foundation brush using only a little at a time. And O M G !! The coverage was fantastic, definately there's a mattifying effect. In coordination with this I used my Too Faced Born This Way concealer in sand. I'll admit that I am aware of my own oiliness. My face is a grease trap at a sports bar on Superbowl Sunday. I gave up foundation about a year ago, but then I began working for my nonprofit job, and I have to look good to talk to volunteers. Reader, let me tell you: I was terrified. Tinted moisturizer would disappear within hours. My old powder foundation was out of date. I was panicking. I hadn't swatched foundation in years, and I have acrylic yellow undertones. And let me tell you, dear readers: Almond is the perfect undertone match for me. My skin tans unevenly, but the coverage of this foundation means that you can't notice the slight discolorations. I feel great! Even after a long day of work which would leave me looking like a drowned rat in my old foundation, I look comfortable. My skin looks like skin. I've noticed that powder blush looks better on top of this than my beloved Milk blush stick, so that was a change, but I genuinely love how this covers my difficult, tantrum-throwing skin. There is a reason that this foundation still remains a top seller for L’Oréal. Even after all these years, this still remains as being one of my absolute FAVORITE go to foundations! I always repurchase this Everytime I’m close to running out. I go back and fourth with this one and a couple of others, but I usually stick with this one as my perfect every day Foundation! It’s so lightweight and looks absolutely beautiful on the skin. It’s thin so it doesn’t feel heavy at all and it has a good medium coverage which is what I like. Enough to cover up my redness and a bit of my imperfections, but not too much that it looks like a cakey mask! I hope L’Oréal knows how amazing this one really is and keeps it around forever! Why did I wait to try this! I think it took me a few years to wean off matte only foundation , when I realized the beauty of some glow on the skin. This is a great foundation.. honestly I've never been disappointed with loreal foundations! I have 2 shades in this and it wears fairly well on my combo skin. My fave way to wear this now is mixed with the loreal 24hr foundation, gives just the right amount of glow. I hardly use my Charlotte Tisbury flawless filter now. The only flaw is I find the color match difficult, my shades are fairly low on their scale (I think I have 02 and 04) and I'm generally a medium skin tone complexion.daina.g

I’m pleasantly surprised by this foundation. As an oily/combo skin girl, I usually gravitate towards the matte options for fear of looking like an oil slick. However, as I’m getting older I notice my skin is changing a bit. Matte foundations just end up looking cakey and separating on my skin after a while, so I decided to try a more hydrating foundation. I’m so glad I did, this wears beautifully! It is a very natural finish, covers imperfections, and is very long lasting (with me blotting once during the day). The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the shade range is terrible. I couldn’t find my exact shade and I have to use my own pigment mixers to fix the shade I bought. Being a MAC makeup user for years I had moved to a new area and was needing foundation quick so I settled for running to a pharmacy that sales makeup and grabbed this for quick fix. The foundation goes on smoother, it feels silky, AND it lasts longer than MAC's long stay option I used for over a decade. Also, MAC upon research is actually very bad for your skin, and this product is much safer. Living on an island means settling for the one pharmacy that's close on a very large island, or driving a good 45 min into the mainland to where I found the nearest MAC was located. I decided to check Amazon and found that it was much better price wise, and when using my prime membership I was able to have it delivered within two days. I checked the pricing of this foundation at grocery store chains as well because of course pharmacy pricing is always higher. Every store I priced still didn't beat Amazon's price on this product, and definitely the switch from MAC's foundation is saving me even more which is an added bonus. I received this item in exchange of my honest review and I have to admit I was very impressed by this foundation. For years I’ve been going only for the pricier foundations thinking I could never achieve the look I wanted from a grocery store foundation. (I know, it sounds terrible but I had never been able to find a color/texture I liked and it always ended up looking fake and cakey). Honestly I think it is mainly because you cannot try the foundations at those stores and you don’t have the convenience of color match, but that’s a whole other subject. I had been on the lookout for a full coverage foundation that still looked and felt natural. I thought I was looking for a unicorn until I got this Vobox a few weeks ago. First of all I’m impressed by the fact it matched perfectly. But most importantly, it looks amazing! It covers all my imperfections and still looks like I’m not wearing much makeup (or non if I don’t use blush and highlighter). Not only that but it feels like a second skin and lasts all day long even in the Louisiana humid summer heat. It feels very moisturizing and doesn’t dry my skin at all nor does it feel greasy and pasty like other dry skin foundations. As I said, it feels like a second skin. So much so that I don’t have that urge at the end of the day to take it off and often have been forgetting until bedtime. With my usual “fancier” foundation, I feel like I “need” to wash it off as soon as I get home in the evening. I have to say, I’m a convert and will make this my everyday foundation. Revlon Colorstay Foundation is medium coverage. It has a liquid but dense texture at the same time (I know, explaining textures is difficult), it is not heavy and it blends easily. At the coverage level, you can put several layers without it looking "cakey" and you can turn it into a high coverage base. You can blend it with a sponge or brush and the result is still beautiful. It has SPF 20 sun protection, but in my experience it does not generate flashbacks, so I have been able to use it in makeup at night and the flash in the photos has not made my face white.Every time I use this base I can say that it lasts all day. I can apply it early in the morning, and at night when I go to remove my makeup it is still there, the places where it disappears the most are in my oily areas: nose, cheekbones and forehead, but it does not disappear completely.Usually I have to touch up with my powder 3 or 4 hours after applying the foundation because the shine and oiliness of my skin begins to come out, so if you have oily skin, it is not recommended that you use it. The edition that I bought is for dry / normal skin. Regarding the finish, it leaves you a "dewy" face. It's definitely not matte, it's brighter, so if that's the look you're looking for, I think you'll like this foundation.ysnovic.b

I used to have this on my MUST HAVES list of my make up routine back when I just started wearing makeup. I would still have it on my list if my fine lines and wrinkles weren't creeping up on me. Definitely gives you the value and quality you paid for and more. It's super affordable and makes your skin super soft and blurrednlook for that photo finished look. I noticed of course wearing primer and moisturizer under made this product look much better once finished and lasted much longer. Without the primer I needed to ouch up about lunchtime but when I did do a little touching up I noticed it gave me a cakey look. 2.5, 3 is just honestly too generous. So first I like the shade but it does oxidize something terrible. Thankfully I use the white LA girl concealer which will highlight anything no matter how orange so whatever it was still fine. Second, I am a dewy girl, a balmy babe, I like to look WET however I still had to break out powder and double spray for this foundation! It looks…fine. But for being just a few hours into my day it could be so much better. I assumed that even though it was dewy, it would dry down with a luminous finish. It does not dry down at all. The texture it is when you first spread it onto your skin is the same texture it will be 30 minutes later. In the age of mask wearing this foundation should be on the bottom of your list, not transfer proof. not even a suggestion of longevity. I itched a pimple and was devastated to look in the mirror and see a nice tan, bronzed face with a nickel sized patch of angry pink skin where my pimple was :/ returning today as I could not work with the formula.Liz

I bought this #maybellinepressedpowder because of all the great reviews and I typically like #maybelline products. Overall I think this is a fine powder; it's very smooth, the color is perfect, and there packaging is nice. However, it's a little more sheer than I wanted. I've tried it moist and I tried applying it with a thick Kabuki brush but could not get the coverage I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I was not expecting #lancomedualfinish results, just a touch more than this product could provide. I feel the best use for this powder are touch ups, but use the #revlonvolcanicroller first so the powder won't cake in oil. I have mixed feelings about this foundation… I have combination skin and tried this foundation with and without primers, powder or setting spray result was pretty much the same… Pros: 1. Shade is perfect for me, 2. Feels nice on the skin when applied, don't feel like I'm wearing foundation… And that's about it. Cons: 1. It doesn't stay! Touch your face and you'll have visable fingerprints on your face-no joke! (and nooo! I did not use to much foundation!) 2. It'll transfer easily on to your face mask in no time, 3. My pores are ENORMOUS even on my forehead where I've not even knew I have pores of this size, 3. It creases in the finelines pretty badly, even if I'll set it with a bit of powder, 4. It creates strange dry patches on my skin, 5. after couple of hours wear it starts looking cakey, skin looks oily and you can see that it's breaking 6. if you'll try to fix it or even touch it up it'll make things even worst. Concept was great and I really hoped it'll work but for me unfortunately it's a fail. Shade is perfect for my skin tone but that's about it. I had 010 cool cashmere, firstly shades run lighter than they appear, even after oxidising. I also have shade 044 cool chai so I can mix the two when I wear tan or use as a bronzer, and that too was lighter than expected, so I would say go a shade darker than you think or go try in a shop first. I tried this because of Tati as she is closer so my age I thought I'd give it a go. It is full coverage and a lot does go a long way. You have to dab to blend, no rubbing at all or it will look awful. It is long wearing too and to me, looks better on the skin after an hour or 2. However it does make my lines look worse and I do have to ammend that. The smell isn't great. At all. Does smell like they mixed in some plasticine. For the price its a very good foundation however I probably wouldn't buy again because I am on a journey of finding a foundation I love rather than like. BUT it does depend on skin types, I have combo, and age, if I was 10 years younger I probably would love this.Hayley R

goes on extremely matte for me, but quickly moisture and oils break through for a 'dewy' look. this is confusing for its description but I would suggest spritzing with your setting spray etc then powdering over that. otherwise it's such a pretty skinlike foundation! that part I agree with. but do not put it on your undereyes, it looks surprisingly bad there. basically if you follow the normal youtuber process you can't go wrong lol. however the shade range is shocking and they really need to fix that – i'm in 'warm spices' and probably could use the last shade, and i'm only about a 420 in fenty, 53g in tarte concealer.JJ

I wasn’t expecting this to be a super star foundation, but it performs very well for my mature, dry skin. It goes on liquidy and sets fairly quickly. I applied with a brush and then dabbed on some more with a sponge in some problem areas. The coverage is really great – a good medium. The finish is radiant with some glow but not overly so. I love that it kind of floated over my pores and didn’t settle into lines and textured skin. I only powdered my nose as that’s the area that tends to get shiny rather quickly. My nose didn’t get shiny until almost 8 hours of wear and even then, I could blot with a tissue and the foundation didn’t come off. This is also the only foundation that doesn’t transfer on to my eyeglasses. It’s the only foundation that almost looks better as the day goes on but still stays in place. I find that this also makes my skin so soft to the touch. For my mature skin, I either get moisturizing that doesn’t last long or long lasting but super drying. This foundation held up nicely throughout the day and I could see the color come off in my sponge when I washed my face at night. So far really liking this drug store foundation. I like it so well that it might be tied for HG status with Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation. I only wish that we could get the .5 colors in the US as they run more pink. I use the 52 Light Vanilla which is neutral enough to match my cool toned coloring. Only con: The foundation has an almost fruity smell when you first apply. While it’s not a terrible smell, I would rather have no smell. It does go away quickly though. Update: The more I use this, the more I like it. I mixed 50 and 51 to get a perfect match for my light neutral to cool leaning skin tone. I find when I use any other foundation, I find myself comparing it to this Healthy Skin. Even my beloved Koh Gen Do Moisture foundation may now be dropped to runner up status. 2nd Update: after all the dozens of foundations I’ve tried (mainly high end), this drugstore brand still tops my list. If I want a more luminous look, I just put it on and go. To tone day the glow, I put a light swish of Jane Iredale powder on top. Best foundation out there hands down for my mature, dry skin. First of all I’d like to say I love the bourjois healthy mix serum foundation for many reasons Price: Everyone wants an amazing product for a next to nothing price, who doesn’t? Now you can, with this foundation pricing at roughly £12.00. Available at boots and many other drugstores. Texture: Feeling light still on your face this foundation does exactly what it says on the bottle and leaves a semi matte finish but still slightly dewy, works perfect with a medium coverage finishing powder. Consistency: Although the bottle is only 30ml, a little bit goes a long way and if you use sparingly you still get the look you’re trying to achieve because of this. Packaging: The packaging isn’t too glamour which maybe knocks the last star off a five star rating however it’s plain and simple and gives the information on the back that you’re wanting to know when purchasing. Wear: this foundation states it lasts for up to 16 hours. I wear this foundation every day to work usually doing a 2pm-10:30pm shift of stocking shelves and moving stock, I walk to work and back which takes half hour each way and this foundation is still on my face by the time I’m home, never looks patchy and is genuinely long lasting. Other: Lastly I LOVE the smell of this strawberry scented foundation and it leaves a lush glow among the light leaving me feeling fresh and radiant throughout the day. This foundation is an absolute must have! The vitamins work wonders for the skin, giving it a beautiful, healthy glow. I've been using it for quite some time and what I have discovered is that it is great for hyperpigmentation 👀 because the vitamins really help! I had been looking for a light to medium coverage foundation that feels weightless, lasts all day, and actually matches my skin tone for so long before finding this!! So underrated. This foundation has a thin consistency, so a little goes a long way and a bottle lasts a long time. I use a drugstore, non-tacky primer (personal preference), then this foundation, concealer, drugstore pressed powder to lightly help set and blend out on neck, ears and around hairline, then powder bronzer, blush and highlighter. Because I use so many powder products with dry skin, I have struggled in the past with weird textures. Not any longer!! Everything blends so smoothly. ALSO: no creasing in mouth lines or near my nose!! And it's easy to touch up without weird patchiness or texture (I always have a runny nose in winter and countless tissues will take off any foundation).Clark

I've really been enjoying this foundation. I use it with YSL primer, IT concealer, & Airspun powder. No setting spray. The foundation is long lasting, doesn't make me look greasy. (I have oily skin) & the finish product is beautiful. I am very pale with some slight redness in my face, some days I have dark under eyes, and I still have red spots on my cheeks from my face mask acne. This foundation covers it all with minimal product. I feel like the makeup looks like a light weight Kardashian approved finish while also covering my imperfections. I fell asleep on the couch with this foundation on today and it didn't get on my throw pillow or couch. My make up still looks flawless with no smudges. I applied it at 7 a.m. it is now 9 p.m. Additionally, it was very rainy and humid today and the weather did not alter my makeup at all. I really love the CC+ cream and thought I'd try this for a change. A mistake. It was very watery and hardly gave any cover. I thought there must have been something wrong with it as I have tried many foundations over the years but never one like this. Although it was an online purchase, I called into the nearest Boots with an it cosmetics counter explaining about the odd texture and asked if they would be willing to exchange it for the CC+ cream. Despite a Manager getting involved, they wouldn't exchange it and unbelievably I was offered a demonstration on how to use it correctly and a suggestion to contact it cosmetics directly. I was disappointed as I wasn't requesting an exchange because I'd ordered the wrong shade for example, I was complaining about the formula. I genuinely thought it had gone off or had been stored incorrectly. I contacted it cosmetics and they couldn't have been more helpful in trying to sort this out for me.Happy Shopper

This is an update of my previous review. I keep coming back to this foundation as it's one of the few that match my neutral pale skin without being too pink or yellow. Currently I'm using Ivory as Porcelain in this is just too pale and pink toned. Ivory is still slightly pink, rather than yellow. I have good skin, no wrinkles or enlarged pores, but with a little uneven pigmentation and very purple under eyes! This foundation is very thin and watery. One application is not much more than a tinted moisturiser. I need to double up with another layer, using the full cover foundation brush and pressing the foundation into my skin. It doesn't last a whole day unless I use powder which takes away the slightly glowy finish. I'm sticking with it because the colour match is good, it's unperfumed and looks natural, but I wish the consistency was that tiny bit thicker.Lemonsherbert

Fell in love with this after trying a sample. Ordered a full bottle and loved the natural, fresh look. But after several uses I broke out in a rash that returns when I use the makeup, and slowly subsides if I take a week off. So disappointed. Dermatologist confirmed the foundation was the culprit. Wish Bobbi Brown would leave out the harsh ingredients/irritants! I know now others have had this same issue. If you have skin that is even moderately sensitive, I recommend steering clear. Fingers crossed they'll produce gentler products soon because I love everything else about the makeup line–other than the fact that I can't wear it!West Coast Natural

This is an incredible foundation. It blends seamlessly into the skin, can be build up for more coverage without being cakey or heavy (honestly, not needed, but just in case you need more coverage for an event or photo shoot). This does not irritate my skin, wears well in humidity for 10 hour plus, and allows my skin to look like the best skin it can be. Please don’t discontinue this unicorn of a foundation!!! Layers well with spf 50 sunscreen (mine is Chanel) and just does wonders under bronzer and blush. I have been searching for a new foundation ever since Make Up Forever re launched their HD Foundation (their new one is nothing like the old formula which was seamless, light and undetectable) and this beautiful formula is even better than my old MUF go-to. I have been using this same foundation for years with no issues. Within the past 6 months, however, it has been really watered down? The makeup will squirt out mostly water with splotches of makeup in it… it reminds me of oil and water the way it separates. I've shaken it up really good and even pulled the cap off and mixed it and it doesn't help. I wish they'd fix this issue, because i really loved this makeup!! I still use it. Not every bottle does this, but the ones that do are messy and a waste of money. I love this makeup but gave it one star so the issue with some of the bottles are made more aware. Hopefully this issue gets addressed. I will note that I've called customer service about this and they are VERY HELPFUL and refunded my money for the like fourth batch i received.Ledawna

This was a sample given to me.#freesample I put on 2 layers for full coverage. I love that it's a pump so no cross contamination, straight from pump to my sponge applicator. The coverage is nice and silky blendable, and buildable. I didn't have to use but a tiny amount of concealer I noticed especially under my eyes. It contains pro-retinol A+ and vitamin c supposed to be for anti aging. Iv only used it this once so I'll post back next week to see if there's any results there🤷 otherwise this has became one of my top 3 favorite foundations. I like the wide range of shades as well, in summer I'm pretty dark but come winter I'm pale as a ghost 👻. Also the price was super budget friendly for this mom on a budget. After reading some negative reviews I was wary ordering this product but thought it should be ok for my skin seeing as it had serums in it. The reviews that speak about how flat the skins appears and how noticeable fine lines and wrinkles become after applying the foundation are all correct. Unfortunately this product did not look great on my skin. I only used a small amount so as not to apply to heavily but even then makes my skin look dry and amplifies the lines on my face. I am 49 with pretty good skin, I prep my skin well and use a good Primer and have not had trouble with foundation etc before but this one I think is designed for younger skin. The promise of serums etc in the foundation is what led me to order it. But I feel that if you have ageing skin it isn't the product for you. Look around and definitely don't order foundation on line unless it is the usual one you use. Go to the counter and get a free sample to try for a week at home first (in retrospect I should have done this!).Kylie

Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum, from my experience I've always enjoyed Clinique foundations in the past so this was a lovely experience! Ones I've tried previously from Clinique were their older version of the Clinique Even Better and Anti Blemish Solutions, both were enjoyable when I wore them at the time. I was very intrigued by the ingredient list, containing a blend of Vit C derivatives, hydrating components such as sodium hyaluronate, cholesterol, Vit E and some botanical ingredients, along with niacinamide and salicylic acid. They all work to combat dark spots, hydrate and smooth the skin. Did it work? As a skincare serum, no but it perform well as a foundation and it is everything that I want in a foundation. It's medium coverage that's buildable but leaves a natural finish, satin to dewy finish and lasts long (given it is used with a setting powder). It feels super silky (probably the dimethicone) and easily blends that does not set straight away. With setting powder and spray this lasts me for a good + 12hours! With some slight shine coming through but it does not bother me! With covid restrictions and masking during my shift work, the foundation does not budge! The foundation stays put, does not crack or crease and best of all does not oxidise! It sits well post my skincare routine and sunscreen and works well with my post routine of setting powder and spray. Would I purchase again? Definitely on my consider list, don't expect actual skin imperfections being addressed with this foundationAnnyex.

Best foundation I have tried in 22 years & I’m 36 & was a professional make up artist. I was trained by a lady that worked with Hollywood celebs back in the day, :9 I’m not a talentless influencer endorsed by the company to lie and sell you products for their profit. I was also a skincare consultant too so I actually know my stuff, I don’t just shove MUA after my name hoping it’s a legit qualification people will believe to rake in money. I’m not endorsed by anyone nor do I have an ulterior motive for leaving this review. I simply just have horrific scarring that I’ve spent two decades trying to cover or eliminate and this product feels so flawless and has actually helped to physically reduced scarring so much, it isn’t just hiding it. Anyone not using it, it’s seriously your loss. Feels like you’re putting absolutely nothing on your skin but getting multiple skincare benefits at the same time. I’m actually so annoyed at myself for not swapping to it when it first came out but I was trying to save money, turns out I only need 1 &1/2 squeezes of this vs 3 applications of the beyond perfecting so I’m actually using WAY LESS product so I’m saving more money in the long run which is an unexpected bonus! This foundation makes the beyond perfecting one, which was great until this new one took it down by multiple pegs, but this new even better clinical foundation makes the beyond perfecting one seem like it was made by collection 2000, if you get what I’m saying. It’s so good that even the usually great Clinique foundations pale in comparison to this gem they’ve created, basically Clinique have always been the crème de la crème of foundations but this new one makes all their other ones seem nowhere near as good because in comparison they actually aren’t as good now this foundation exists. I don’t know whom from Clinique HQ is responsible for its creation but they definitely deserve a raise! Even when you use a foundation brush there is no thick residue left on the brush, the brush feels like you actually only put moisturiser on it, even if you wipe your foundation brush on tissue NO product comes off! Even wrinkles are way way LESS PROMINENT! So easy to blend it to a flawless finish too, no streaks, no patching, no sitting in lines. It fees NOTHING LIKE FOUNDATION when on your skin. It’s absolutely amazing. Please just buy it instead of spending decades looking for a decent one when this gem is literally right in front of you. I grabbed this hydrating long-wear foundation on sale at Sephora. It’s marketed to folks with dry skin and I have oily skin so yes, I had no business buying this, however, I just could not pass up a sale. I loved the finish of the original matte foundation and was super excited to grab this one at a fraction of the cost… and was determined to make it work. The first time I used it was during winter. I figured it’s cold out, so why not. I applied the foundation with a brush, and now looking back, I see I applied way too much. Halfway through the day I looked like a grease pig, a cold one at that. Foundation was slipping and sliding everywhere. Today (mid-spring) was second time I applied it, however, I used a dry sponge and just two small pumps. I was just testing but realized it was actually enough foundation to cover my entire face. The finish is also consistent with the Pro Filt’R foundation. At the end of the day, you can see I had a healthy glow, but not more than my other matte foundations. Overall, I’m very happy with this foundation.kanisha .d

This foundation is so finicky for me! Some days it looks good, other days it looks bad. I still have not found a way to set this foundation so that it doesn’t crease or get patchy. It may have to do with the fact that’s it’s a “clean formula” I noticed a similar texture to another clean foundation as well.. First off, I love the light powdery smell! I wish it was made into a body lotion lol. Second, the shade match is perfect and looks great at first but then starts to crease. Since the foundation is very moisturizing, it can easily lift and streak. It definitely needs to be set and dried with a setting spray and powder, otherwise it will start to crease and settle in every fine line and wrinkle if the foundation still has any moisture left in it. However once set and dry, it can tend to look patchy and cling onto any dry areas of the skin. The original soft matte foundation which I prefer, seems to have a similar finish but fuller coverage and dries and sets almost instantly compared to this one which seems to never dry.adrian.g

I’m now well into my 30’s and have been looking for something like my favorite high school foundation. Yes, I’m Serious! I have fair, combination dry skin, I burn easily, and I use tretinoin and sunscreen everyday, so my skin is already pretty even and clear sans normal hormonal redness around the nose and mouth, but sometimes I can appear “flat” or dull. With that in mind, I’m a big baby about what I put on my face. I have been looking for a foundation that feels lightweight, doesn’t dry me out, and looks radiant, because my major everyday makeup goal is a great complexion, a nude lip, and a bold lash, but with a touch of that CT romantic glam magic. Think clean girl aesthetic meets dreamy romantic. This foundation does it all for me. I recently moved across the US and packed most of my makeup and skincare, as well as belongings in a moving truck and only took a few staples for the road, so I don’t have a lot to work with in terms of finding the right combination of products. Unfortunately, what did arrive was all destroyed, so I can’t test it with other sunscreens or primers, products, etc. I was worried at first about pilling or patchiness, but I gave myself a little pep talk and took this opportunity to look on the bright side and try new things and I’m so glad I did! I got a (wonderfully sized) sample at Sephora, in 1N and 3N from the lovely Arielle in the Dallas Galleria location. I have neutral to cool undertones (I’m so pale you can see my veins in most places). The 1N is PERFECT! I’ve never had such a great match. It lasts all day, it’s luminous, it didn’t oxidize or yellow, making me look ill. I set it with the fair CT powder travel size from my travel bag, then mini airbrush finishing spray, and it wears all day like a dream. No creasing, flaking, caking or breakdown. I just look put together! (And I live in DALLAS now!) Yesterday, I returned to Sephora and purchased the full size, as well as the hyaluron kiss in crystal kiss which is also, AMAZING! This is going to be a HG product for me, I know it, and I’m so excited to work hard and rebuild my collection. If you’re having doubts, TRY IT. I’ve never looked so radiant, and almost ageless (I work with and manage ladies ten years my junior and they’re all shocked I’m “so old.”). Ok, let’s cut straight to the chase – this really is as good as everyone’s saying! I’ve never got on well with CT foundations before but this is in another league, and IMO much more suited to my very dry skin. I love that it doesn’t have fragrance in it – this is really important to me as I have really sensitive skin and fragrance usually further sensitises it. This hasn’t given me any adverse effects at all irritation-wise. The finish is extremely skin like, but more a better version of your own skin, with some luminosity but less dewy than Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue. I would say it also has slightly less coverage (on the lighter end of medium), so it won’t make you look completely flawless but I’m ok with that as I can add coverage in areas I need with concealer. It doesn’t settle into my 11’s at all, which has only ever happened with 2 other foundations – La Mer Soft Radiant and Chantecaille Future Skin. I’m kind of blown away so far! So happy that I’ve found this and I’ll now be decluttering a lot of my old foundations as this has instantly gone to my number 1 spot as Holy Grail for an everyday, polished but natural finish! For colour reference I am Vanilla in Hourglass, Cool Sand in Bobbi Brown, Ivory in La Mer, Yukon in Nars, B20 in Chanel and Vanilla in Chantecaille. Shade 3 Cool is a good match for me here and I think 2 Neutral would also work.DDAK

I was really excited when I discovered that this new foundation is more of a gel type foundation. I really loved the Touche Eclat Foundation from YSL, but couldn't wear it because it has chemical sunscreen and tons of fragrance. This one is not illuminating like that product, but it has better coverage and I find it to be non-irritating on my sensitive, dehydrated skin. The best thing is that it really deeply hydrates my dehydrated skin over the time I am wearing it, and when I wash my face, my skin is very soft and plump. I tend to get oily from dehydration, so this actually does a good job of preventing that from happening. I have had no issues with clogged pores or breakouts or anything with this foundation either. It's more of a light-medium coverage and goes really perfectly with CT's Magic Away concealer, as well as the hollywood flawless filter and the highlighters/blushes/contour in tubes that CT sells. Probably because they all have a gel type base to them, but they really do work PERFECTLY together. I put her pressed powder on top of this to lock it in and that works really well. I don't have any issues with it gathering in my pores that I have had with her other foundations. This is by far her best one. I think it looks very anti-aging and juicy, just really the only liquid foundation I like at all.heatherm

This foundation is light weight. It is good for evening out skin tones. I recommend using a moisturizer before hand if you have dry skin. Not the best for oily skin. Its also nice at holding powder when baking. One of the cons of this product is its transferable. Comes off with a light touch. Holds better if set with powder. Its similar to a bbcream.cameron.f

Loved this foundation. As we age our skin changes and finding cosmetics to fit the bill gets harder and harder and more expensive. Which becomes a problem since retirement income is considerably less than income earned when we worked daily. This line of cosmetics is wonderful for aging skin…little is applied, it blends in quickly and blurs the lines and imperfections beautifully and smoothes out skin tone. I use it daily and have told many other women about the product line. Something this good needs to be shared!ema.s

I got this product on sale for around $27, making this a steal! I think $40 is a bit too high, though. My first thoughts on the product is that looks really good! Due to the limited shades, I was worried ‘light’ would not fit my undertones, but it worked pretty well. Despite this saying it is full coverage, I think it’s more medium as my skin still shows through (which I want). It’s very lightweight and I love that it is matte, since I’m prone to be more oily. I adore this foundation/spf moisturizer!!! I don’t understand people who say it’s cakey- then don’t use half the tube!! I use quite a bit myself and it’s never been cakey, and I use my fingers- it seems the warmth of my fingers blends it perfectly!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my skin after using this! ONLY after using this! I’ve used other products before but this seems to give such a flawless and natural finish that people think I have flawless skin! Plus it sits so nicely that I don’t even feel I have anything on my skin! I’ve tried over 30 different foundations, Korean bb creams (which I do like), cc creams, but none compare to this product!! I fell in love with It Cosmetics foundation, but was seeing some break outs. Once I switched to the oil free version- no more breakouts!!! This is full coverage, which is great because I have Rosacea. I use a flat top brush to apply and set it with powder. Make sure you wash your face and moisturize before applying. Let your moisturizer settle as well! Because this is a full coverage foundation, I wipe a little off around creases in my face and set with translucent powder. Dermablend was recommended to me for full coverage foundation that wouldn't break me out and it was drying and flakey- this stuff is liquid gold. You've got moisturizer and SPF 50! (You still need to moisturize before- and if you see flakey spots pat on some lotion and let it sit). Perfect color match, my skin is so fair, I was glad to not have to bronze my body for once to match my face.Ally

I was so excited to try this foundation! I’m always looking out for a really nice foundation for my oily combination, and fine lines skin. The colour was perfect! I am usually a natural medium beige, and I received 230N. Usually foundations are either too yellow or pink. This one had a perfect neutral undertone, you could not even tell I was wearing foundation. It has a medium coverage, and you can build it up if you like. It covers all the imperfections, does not settle in my fine lines like heavier foundations tend to do. This foundation is loaded with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and E, which are added bonuses! Knowing that having it on your skin, you are also benefiting from skincare, and hydration. So on the first morning, I applied my usual skincare products as per normal routine. I then I applied primer, it’s a must for me with my oily/combination skin, then my finally my sunscreen. I then applied the foundation with a foundation brush. It went on flawlessly and felt so skin like, it has a satin/natural finish, a flawless finish. I am absolutely in love with how it feels on my skin. I then set it with a setting powder, and finished off with the rest of my makeup. I had one of my children’s birthday party on this day. The foundation was on for at least 10 hours. It was a really hot and humid day, and also being in the kitchen over the stove, I felt my face was melting LOL, but can I tell you, it didn’t budge at all, it looked as flawless as when I applied it on in the morning, no crepey eyes, no separation around the nose, which usually happens with my oily t-zone, absolutely flawless 10 hours later. So the next day same skincare routine, I applied the foundation with my fingers, it went on just as beautifully, skin felt super soft and hydrated. As expected by the end of my day cleaning house and running errands, makeup was still intact and had not shifted or moved in the slightest. The third day I decided to apply it with a sponge, again perfect finish, it lasted all day without movement, even my shiny forehead has been under control, I’m assuming because of the Hyaluronic Acid, my skin is hydrated, hence my skin isn’t producing extra oils. I have oil and matte control foundations, but they don’t seem to work as well as this one. So my final thoughts are this foundation is my new holy grail, you can apply it any which way you choose, fingers, brush or sponge, it does not make a difference to the finish. Knowing that it has skincare benefits makes it an added bonus to the product, I feel this foundation would benefit any skin type, if you have dry then you will benefit from the hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, and if you have oily skin/ combination you will also benefit from its flawless skin like qualities….yaaaay! super excited for this product finally a great foundation for my mature, oily skin.Helen E.

Finding a foundation for women of a certain age has been an impossible task. When I ask a salesperson if they have a foundation for women my age, 55, that will meet my needs; hydrate my skin, keep sebum at bay, cover my age spots and redness, last through a working day and make me look like I'm wearing nothing, well, they look at me with fear in their eyes. Then one day, I came across Elizabeth Arden at Macy's. I don't know anything about EA nor did anyone else at Macy's, so the salesperson and I went online to read about the foundation and I took a sample home. The next day, I went back to purchase two colors. So, do I love this foundation? Yes. Does it meet all my needs? No. Has anyone in all these years of searching for the "perfect" foundation for aging skin ever recommended EA? No. I don't know why, I absolutely LOVE it, it's definitely the closest foundation I've ever used to meet all my skins issues and believe me, I've tried them all. I have been buying Elizabeth Arden foundation for over 20 years now. I have dabbled a couple of times with other brands but nothing compared. I have stuck with it through various marketing name changes, Intervene, Flawless Finish etc but this new re-branded version has put an end to our long relationship (sad face) I have to buy online now due to a remote move and who could possibly decipher the odd colour chart with numbers and letters. I did buy a bottle in Canberra so I could select the right colour for me and it certainly wasn’t the same as any previous versions. This is my BY FAR FAVORITE foundation. I've come back to review this for the 2nd time now, last time was in November after using for a month to see how I liked it and wanted to see if it would break me out before reviewing, etc. but I've just been unable to find another foundation like this one! To start off, I have really dry, eczema skin.. but if you use a moisturizer and some setting spray on your face before putting this on, you will be fine if your skin is like mine. So, I had run out of this foundation at the beginning of the year, I should've ordered when I was getting low but I was unaware that they don't carry this one in the ulta stores, so I finished off the remainder of this too faced foundation I had (not the same but works good) and that started getting low so I went into my local ulta to see if I could maybe find something similar to it. Nothing similar but a worker recommended a Smashbox matte foundation for me since I have dry skin… and I returned in within 2 days because I just couldn't.. it enlarged my pores and had barely any coverage at all. So I was out of town and went and visited another ulta, hoping I could return that one and find this foundation, they didn't have it either! So I settled with too face again but got a shade too dark. So now I have to return yet again (ulta is about to be sick of me lol) but I'm almost thinking about returning this, and going foundationless for a while until I can order this and have it come in the mail. Too faced is great, don't get me wrong it's definitely my 2nd choice, but nothing seems to compare to this foundation and will always be my favorite. It can withstand heat, humidity and sweat, all while making your face look flawless (not exaggerating). My forever favorite. I would never come back and review something for a 2nd time.. but now that I'm without it and have had to the other foundations again, I am seeing that I need to not go without this foundation again!Riss14

I have been using Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation for some time now and I cannot fault it. It is the most flawless and long lasting foundation I have ever used and I have used plenty of different other brands. I have rather oily skin and tend to sweat from the head quite easily thanks to having PCOS but this foundation stays put even if I spend the entire evening dancing and getting rather warm, it barely budges unless I rub it off. Best of all, it makes my skin look absolutely flawless and silky smooth. I have found it is best applied with a foundation brush than a beauty blender or your own fingers. The brush seems to distribute it more evenly across the face and blends really well without having to use much product. I do always finish my makeup with a setting powder, I just feels it completes the look. I currently use Laura Mercier translucent loose powder which seems to work so well with this foundation. I haven't yet tried other setting powders with it. If you want a Matte, long lasting and flawless foundation, I highly recommend Estee Lauder Double Wear, it is worth the money.Jemz

Every time there's a perfect makeup, a company has to go and change the ingredients and mess it up. The price went up five more bucks, and this stuff, which used to be my #1, just isn't the same suddenly. It's greasy when it wasn't before. What was perfect for oily/combo skin wears off fast in the oily zone. And if you're someone like me who is working all day long and sweating in your tzone, you definitely don't want it separating on your face or transferring any time you try to dab your face with a paper towel. It also feels sticky like it won't dry after you put it on, and it's really hard to put any kind of powder or setting powder over it when it's so tacky. I used to LOVE the coverage and how long it lasted, but it's different now. And this isn't the kind of stuff you can just touch up. You have to completely redo your whole face or it looks terrible and caked on in splotches! I shouldn't have to keep smoothing it over my skin the whole day just to keep it from settling in every tiny line on my face…I'm 34, I don't even have the kind of aging skin that this tries to make me look like I have lol! Why did they fix something that was never broken?! Nothing good ever lasts, they always try to cheapen it up and charge more. I originally purchased shade 270 and it pulled way too peachy on me, after researching shades I tried 300 and it’s perfect. My favorite way to apply it is by mixing a pump of the foundation, a pump of the saie glowy gel, a swirl of Danessa Myricks Universal blurring balm and my moisturizer of choice. I mix until it’s well blended and apply with my fingers starting at the center of my face and working outwards. My other products layer beautifully over this foundation and the whole look wears well through the day even though I have very oily skin. Powder is optional as the blurring balm does a good job of minimizing any oil. I can easily wear this foundation for 10 plus hours and it still looks good, I’ve fallen asleep in it and haven’t broken out. Some of my other foundation matches include Chantecaille future skin shea, Nars Light reflecting foundation Sahel, Onesize blurring balm in medium dark 1, Pat McGrath 10, Armani luminous silk 7.8. The only con for me is how much my skin tone changes through out the seasons and having to buy new shades to match me. It would be great if she came out with shade adjusters to keep the undertone but deepen or lighten your shade as needed.megan86

TL;DR: Might not be ideal for oily skin or if you’re wanting fuller coverage. Works great as a mixer though to adjust shades or make a full coverage foundation more lightweight. I have loved Lady Gaga from day 1 so I had to pickup her foundation. Currently I’m undecided on if I like it but for specific reasons that won’t apply to everyone. I have very oily skin and large pores, because of this I have a hard time finding foundation that works. “Radiant” or even “natural” finish often means it way too shiny for my oily skin. This foundation is supposed to give a natural skin finish so immediate hesitation, but it’s Gaga so I caved. I had no idea what shade to get because the color wheel in the site shows “neutral” shades that look pretty damn pink and yellow. Why is it so hard for companies to have true neutral shades?!? I used the shade finder tool on the website and was recommended 070 Neutral so that’s the shade I ordered. This shade is supposed to be fair with neutral peach undertones. I added a pic of my 2 holy grail foundations (Fenty and Doublewear) and another one I just picked up (beautyblender). All of these foundations are supposed to be “neutral”. Fenty is the closest true neutral that I’ve found. It’s my all time favorite ride or die. Doublewear is probably the closest shade match but polar opposite formula. Shades swatched: – 150 Fenty Pro Filtr Soft Matte – 1N1 Estee Lauder Doublewear – 1.4N beautyblender bounce Liquid whip – 070 Haus Labs triclone skin tech My first impression of Haus Labs is it’s very runny even after shaking the bottle a ton. A little goes a long way too. I tried applying with my fingers, a brush, and kind of a sponge. I’m a big fan of using my fingers because I get streaks with brushes and sponges seem to emphasize my pores. My fingers did seem to give the best application but that’s my preference so someone who is used to using a brush/sponge might like those more. This foundation is definitely light to medium coverage and can’t be built up further than that. Without the powder it’s much too dewy for me but I think the powder does a decent job of drying it down a bit. I wore it by itself around the house and it seemed alright but then I wore it mixed with beautyblender liquid whip which is a bit yellow on me. To be honest, I think this foundation will best be used as a mixer to adjust shades of other foundations or make full coverage ones a little more lightweight. What are your thoughts?andrea.l

Shortly after I received this to try one of my friends started raving about it being the GOAT foundation. I’d been so excited to receive it to try with all of the wonderful skincare claims and her loving it made me even more excited. The packaging is heavy & luxurious feeling. The product itself is very runny/liquid and lightweight on the skin. There’s no strange smell or anything like some cosmetics can have. I’ve been trying it almost daily for over a month & I’ve tried applying it quite a few ways: with the haus labs brush (a “no” for me), directly on a damp real techniques sponge (this is how I apply most of my foundations but with this one it eats a LOT of product & doesn’t give me the coverage I’m looking for), and finally with my fingers & then the sponge (this allows me to use much less product and still get the nice sponge finish at the end). On the sponge this takes at least 3 pumps, directly onto the skin more like 1 or 1.5 & it actually gives better coverage. It applies much better over my unseen sunscreen which is almost like a primer. If I use a more creamy/greasy spf this will NOT stay on my face. It just doesn’t sink in/set & slips all over the place. Touch your face or put sunglasses on? Forget about it. I’ve also been using the powder with a large fluffy brush or a sponge. The sponge works better but is not how I’m used to, my other powders tend to make this foundation last longer. Overall, my shade was slightly off (it’s “cool” but seemed very yellow leaning) and this just doesn’t give the coverage and long lasting power I’m looking for. I have combo skin with bumps, some blemishes, & fine lines. If you have already beautiful skin (on the dry side) and are looking for a light coverage with skincare benefits, this might be your “greatest of all time” foundation like it has been for my friend.
