This is my second Jergens Tanning Mouse that I bought. I first bought the lighter shade as I’m quite pale and new to tanning. I love these products. I apply with a mit. I watched a lot of YouTube videos as well for tips and tricks and application techniques. It is fast drying. I wait probably 15-20 mins to get dressed after applying but it dries in a few minutes. I don’t feel sticky after either. I have never had it rub off dramatically. I was wearing a tight crop top a few hours after and it rubbed off a little bit in the seam. Yea I believe it has a color guide just so you can see where you are applying it. When you first shower 8-12 hrs later, you may see that come off but it leaves color behind on your skin. There is a little scent left over. To me it smells like freshly peeled potatoes! I know that’s odd but it isn’t too strong to me. Overall great product! I enjoy being tan without the sun damage and possible skin cancer!Cjmlsw
I'm not a newbie when it comes to tanning lotions. I am pale or red when it comes to tanning naturally. Anyways, I showered, shaved, exfoliate, add a little lotions to elbows/knees/ankles and applied the the foam with a mitt. Just like I would with any other tanning lotion I ever used. It was easy to see where you applied which I liked. Yet, later that day my legs were uneven tan (same amount of lotion and circular motions) no water or sweat after applying. To describe my outcome is going out to the garden and getting dirt on you.. some areas have dirt while other areas are still untouched. My tan looks hideous and I had to go out and about on mother's day looking horrible. Lesson learned : don't go cheap on a product and don't always trust reviews as I seen it was 4 stars and decided to try it for myself. Just ask a salon what they recommend instead. If you have fair skin like me and want a natural looking tan, this is the product for you. If you want a super dark tan, this is not for you. There is a green tinted guide color in the mousse to help you apply evenly so you will look extra dark and streaky until you rinse off in the shower. Once it washes off it's obviously lighter but more natural looking. Then it gets a little darker over the next 8 hours or so. The people complaining about it being streaky when first applying and color washing off in the shower didn't read the description on the bottle because it's supposed to do that. Also yes, I agree it is sticky and has a smell until you rinse off but I've never tried a self tanner that doesn't have that. I put on loose clothes after a couple mins despite the stickiness and have never had issues with transfer. I always apply it when I plan to not leave the house for a few hours. I've tried a lot of self tanners and have stuck to this one for the last year because it's the easiest to apply (because of the guide color), has the best end result color (not orange), and I like that I only have to have it on for 3 hours. The self-tanner itself is a fantastic product. Beautiful and easy to blend. And simple to put on. The smell is passable-neither its fantastic not awful, but it doesn't matter. I have really sensitive skin and its gentle on it. Neither a burning not itchy sensation. Didnt produce any inflammation or pain. The tan has a nice, silky mousse consistency. Sharp lines are simple to perceive, and you can tell where you have applied it. Many additional tanning treatments,including ad moisturizers, make it difficult to detect where you have applied them, preventing the formation of sharp lines once you have browned. You have varied time restrictions while using self-tanner depending on the shade you want. If your skin is very fair, one hour will give you a faint tan. It takes 2 hours to achieve a lovely medium look, and three hours to achieve your distinctive look if you have dark skin. Other then that, the self-tanner is a simple and quick product. I first tried St Tropez about 15 years ago when self tanning at home started to trend more, it was the best then and it's the best now. I've tried all the major brands over the years, the expensive £30 ones and the cheap £5 ones and none of them compare to the OG – St Tropez. The formula is so silky it simply glides onto your skin and blends so well with a mitt, it really is fool proof. It smells nice as you apply, it's not overwhelmingly fragranced. I won't deny there is the tell tale fake tan smell as it develops but I just think whatever brand and whatever the packaging boasts you cannot get away from the smell, however with the St Tropez it isn't as strong. I leave it on overnight as I like a darker tan which this achieves without looking orange. It develops to suit my skin tone. It fades pretty evenly without going patchy, but you often get a build up in the creases of your body, again that's the same with all tan so I often scrub these areas a bit harder of loosen with a body oil. First, the application is fine, it’s a wet formula and goes on well. The smell however is awful, not just while it’s on, but for 48 hours and two showers later bad. I actually felt the need to apologize to people for how I smelled. My husband said it was disgusting. I have tried about 15 different self tanners for reference so definitely not a newbie. I had to put the color on two days in a row to get a tan, and then even now I’m not very tanned, hence the low rating. If I’m gonna smell the product should at least make me dark, and this fell very very short!!! I am a self-tan addict and I have tried many, many brands and product types over many years! I have high standards for how my tan looks and I hope my review is helpful! The body product is overall very nice but the price is less impressive when you realize how quickly you go through the bottle. The face lotion is nice too, but I'm not blown away and I don't like that it makes my face sweat profusely after application. The good: color result is beautiful and lasts a long time when compared to other brands (I swam in non-chlorinated water and it wore very well), non-streaking, no color guide is nice because it doesn't transfer onto fabrics, and it looks very natural. The bad: the product would only be a good price if there was double the fluid ounces in each bottle – I went through the entire bottle in only 2-3 applications and that was very disappointing (I'm not a large person). It does start to get splotchy on hands, between breasts, and elbow/knee ditches after a few days but I've never found a product that does not do that (I believe because skin cells naturally shed). I won't be buying the face lotion again but I will repurchase the body lotion. I will, however, continue looking for a product that is better because I'm not convinced that this is the best out there. I, like many of you I'm guessing, have tried numerous self tanners. After a skin cancer scare a few years ago, I'm much more diligent about protecting myself from the sun but also love that tan glow. I bought the face tanning serum and the dark body tanning lotion. I have tried drugstore brands, Rodan & Fields, Beauty by Earth, Isle of Paradise, St Tropez, etc etc etc. I will say this self tanning lotion is my favorite. I'm still deciding on the face serum, but the lotion is a natural glow with less of an odor than others I have tried. I like that the face serum contains ingredients that actually help fine lines and wrinkles. I like that the body lotion isn't thick or "gooey" feeling and dries quickly. It doesn't stain clothes. This is the best self tanner you will ever use. Seriously, this is a must have. Super seamless, natural-looking tan, with zero blotchiness because the mist is very fine. I always get compliments on the color too. A much healthier alternative to excessive UV rays (though a healthy amount of sun is still great.) I like to apply after a shower before bed-time and make sure to spray evenly over my face and neck at about 7 inches away. I wipe the very edge of my hairline just, in case the product has built up and in the morning I’m all set, though if you’re having a no-other-face-products kind of day, you could totally wear this out. It gives a subtle dewy glow. It lasts about a week for me. I’ve never had a problem with this product staining any of my fabrics but I always heir on the side of caution and sleep with a shirt that I wouldn’t mind getting stained. I love the idea of a natural water self tan facial mist as normal self tan products always smell chemically. This has a sort of a pleasant peachy smell. The style of the bottle shouts summer so couldn't wait to give it a whirl – St Tropez here I come! I followed the instructions and did about five pumps over my face and chin area. It feels nice landing on your skin and is not greasy and dries instantly. I just then had to wait about 4 hours or so for the results. It did give me a lovely healthy summer glow but I found out that it is important to make sure you spray evenly over your face! I obviously missed a bit and I had a noticeable pale patch of skin just alongside my cheekbone which I had missed! The second day I made sure I was more careful when spraying and the result was definitely a natural sunkissed glow. It looked so much better and a neighbour commented on how healthy I looked. I have a VERY light complection so the sun and I are not compatible. I wear shorts and my legs glow in the dark so I really like to use a sunless tanner. I've tried all different kinds of sunless tanners and orange is not my color. This tanner does not leave me orange and I've even got compliments on it from good friends that aren't afraid to tell me like it is. Lol. You HAVE to exfoliate your skin before using ANY sunless tanner or you will have streaks. I followed the directions and used latex gloves for application. A small amount goes a long ways. It takes two to three applications to get the darkness I want. (Light to medium darkness) and then a small amount after showers to maintain it. This self tanner didn’t irritate my skin but it did make me orange and stained my nails! You need to wear gloves with this…in the directions it says simply wash your hands. Also it came out streaky and uneven. I don’t recommend sleeping with this on. I will never use this again. I had a horrible experience. I was super excited to try when I got this product. I’ve used it a total of 4 times, I like the color however after only using it 4 times my skin started to react to the product. I broke out in hives. I became super itchy, it started on my legs, continued up my belly and then to my arms. I liked the “tan look” but it came off in the areas where I had intense itching. I have small scabs on my legs from itching so bad, I had to use hydrocortisone cream to help relieve the itching.Kat B.

The 'Classic' shade is the perfect color for light/fairer folks! Most tanners come out super orange on me, this one is the least orangey I've come across. Even better than when I tried a full spray tan. You MUST use a mitt, it's the best hack ever for a smooth application and I wish I would have known about them years ago! Would have saved me from many streaks and dyed palms. It also allows you to get a clean line along/under the jaw, which creates a natural looking contour since I don't use the tanner on my face. I prefer a foam to an over-time lotiony type, so this is perfect for me. It darkens a bit over time, but since its mostly instant you can see any unevenness as you are applying. Exfoliate/shave a day or two before. Pile on lotion to elbows, knees, ankles right before applying. Foam goes on decently non-sticky. Buff buff buff with the mitt, circular motions going with the grain of any body hair. If you do get any spots on the fingers/toes, wipe with some nail polish remover right away and that should take any color off. Color lasts at least a week+ if you are careful to not exfoliate much.Katy
I'm liking this for quite a few reasons. It's easy to apply – much easier than the lotion and dries pretty quickly (less than 2 minutes on my skin). Not pricey, maybe a bit more than other tanning lotions and products but it's definitely worth paying that small amount extra as when comparing it to other brands; this product has the least streaking and most natural looking color, not orange, just a nice golden hue. Bonus: there is no funny smell left on your skin once you have washed it off. I find one full bottle lasts me for approximately 6 full body applications which makes it more than worth it for me. I hardly ever write reviews, which I know I should since I rely heavily on reviews when online shopping… but felt compelled to leave a comment because of two reviews I read here. One comment mentions that this tanner “washed away” when it comes in contact with water, and another mentions the “green tint” they got. These are not product flaws, that’s literally what it’s supposed to do. There is a purposeful tint that acts as a GUIDE for application. It’s SUPPOSED to be slightly greenish and it’s SUPPOSED to wash off lol. The guide helps you see where you’ve applied the tanner so you don’t miss a spot or don’t blend somewhere. The color develops over 8 hours (when it shouldn’t get wet), then you rinse or wash the guide color off. Very simple instructions on the bottle that explain that. That being said, St. Tropez is among the best self tanners available. I’ve been using it for years and years and it’s still my favorite. I’m pale with red hair and blue eyes and burn very easily, so I layer on the sunscreen, but I hate being pale/basically translucent. So I use St Tropez year round. One application every 3 weeks or so in the winter, and every 1-2 weeks in the summer (depending on how dark I want to be) helps me easily maintain a natural looking tan that’s long lasting. I honestly might buy two of these jumbo bottles. I’ve only ever seen this side during the anniversary say and it’s a fantastic value. One bottle should last me the rest of the summer and the other hurtle for fall-spring. Usually I buy a new bottle every couple of months! I was promised amazing things with this tan, so I’ll start with the good… The colour is nice – the green/grey base stops it getting *too* orange (though there are less orange tans out there), and as promised the smell is pleasant. I’m naturally very pale and the medium was plenty dark enough. That seems to be where the good stuff ends. I always ensure I prep properly for tanning with my shaving/exfoliating/moisturising routine, so that was not the problem. I do have dry skin, so I always make sure to moisturise every day as instructed on the bottle. However, 2 days into wearing this tan, my arms and legs looked absolutely RIDICULOUS. So so SO patchy, I looked like bubble wrap with the amount of white holes that were appearing all over me. So I knew it had to come off… fat chance of that happening. Soaked myself in baby oil for an hour, had a long, hot bath and then scrubbed in the shower. Did not budge. It took THREE showers worth of scrubbing just to take *some* of the colour off – good if you don’t want it to come off, but terrible if you do. I had to wear long sleeves/trousers in hot weather for a week whilst I tried every day to eventually scrub it off. It stained my bedding like no other tan has – baring in mind I didn’t sleep with it developing as I don’t like to stain the sheets with my tans. But even after the first several rounds of scrubbing it was still turning my sheets bright orange. Sadly would not recommend this tan and disappointed that I wasted so much money on it.Emily B.
My daughter and I were willing to spend top dollar on an excellent self tanner to ensure we had a nice, sunkissed glow prior to heading on vacation. The reviews online were great but, we were skill a bit skeptical. Our skin hadn't seen the sun in a while (although we weren't completely pale) so, we spent days trying to decide on medium or dark. It was a tough choice but, we settled on Medium to error on the side of caution. I also added the bronzing face drops in Medium as well. Much to my surprise, the product lives up to all the wonderful reviews. We succeed in achieving our sun kissed glow and I've had several people ask where we spent our vacation and compliment my tan. I even catch people checking out my bronzed legs (because the tan looks that good, not just my legs)! Smells great going on, like tropical fruit, but the next day definitely still smells like all other self-tanners. It's not over powering, but if you're sensitive to that smell just know that you're not getting away from it with this product. Also, it does go on with a warmer green base, but again the next day I feel like it's left me just as orange as other self tanners. It's also not as forgiving in terms of evenness. I have some darker and lighter patches where I didn't get it totally even, so just take your time putting it on. Also, the mitt does seems to leak through to the palm of your hand slightly. The palm of my right hand is definitely tinted after applying with the mitt last night, so just be sure you scrub your palms thoroughly once you're done applying. I've used better mitts though. Overall, it works, it's fine, but not sure if this lives up to the hype and if it's the best product out there.

I like some of this brands other tanners, so I decided to give this one a try. I put it on and slept through the night. The color was very dark when I woke up, but luckily most of it washed off in the shower to reveal a nice tan. I will never use this tanner again though, because it clung very strangely to my skin and looks super uneven. I’ve been tanning for a long time now and have never had this happen. I bought this on a whom 2 days ago at my local Walmart. I purchased a mitt to apply the product and I have to say it went on pretty easily I followed the directions by exfoliating 1st as it states on the bottle. I actually stumbled across a exfoliating sponge which was inexpensive and did a great job. I got a little braver by applying it to my face as well !!! The results were pretty amazing. The mousse has a color guard so you can see exactly where you are applying . I did not use cream or moisturizer on my elbows ,knees or heels but if you are really dry I would recommend doing that. I also learned a few tricks by watching u tube videos on how to achieve the best results and by adding a few of the tricks i.e. using a makeup blending brush for the top of my hands and feet really worked out to soften and help the look more soft and more real. The only con is after applying the smell is not pleasant it seems to get a little stronger as it drys but overall not as bad as some of the other products I have used in the past. I would highly recommend doing this at night and use an old sheet to lay on as some will transfer off. 8 hrs later after a good night's sleep wake up rinse not scrub in the shower and boom pretty nice results. I have already recommended this to friends and the price is awesome 9.97 and the mitt which is reusable 5.97 exfoliating sponge 2.97 so 19.00 bucks total and tanned for at least 3 days and if you use a gradual tan moisturizer it can last quite awhile. NO fake tanner smell, NO streaks, NO orange looks or hands(especially if you use powder free gloves or preferably a tanning mitt). Okay so I was very excited to try this, because of all the amazing reviews. I do have to be honest, though. Many people stated that it fades evenly with no patchiness, etc but that Is a full on lie. I’m patchy ALLL over my body and it looks very weird. Thankfully I wear full body coverage at work, but this did not fade evenly or nicely, whatsoever. This is my absolute go-to after trying b tans entire line this summer! Perfect color for my fair pink/red undertone skin. This formula gives me a perfect tan that looks natural. No orange. Dark color on fair skin. This is my holy grail self tan product for the price! I start with face & feet with makeup brush then all over with mitt, sparsely on armpits and outer elbows. Hands with makeup brush again as final step. Make sure to bend fingers to get those knuckle creases. Then I stand in front of my fan for 20 minutes, loose long clothing and go to bed. When I wake up, I shower with dove soap bar to cut the toasted croissant smell as the DHA developed on the top layer of my skin overnight. Smell isn't terrible like other brands or old product. PSA: if your self Tanner stinks/wreaks, it's rancid, throw out and purchase new!!! I can't believe how many times people complain of stinky products they took out of the closet from a year+ ago and still use it, eeewww. At this price point, you can get one of these and be much much happier with it! I was happy to have found this originally at Walmart 2 months ago, to date I've tried every single foam in b tan line and this one is it for me along with, I want the darkest tan possible for even darker summer days. I get so many compliments with this tanning mouse. It’s so easy to use. I exfoliate in the shower before hand, dry off really well, and lather my entire body including my face. I only use a small amount in every place and I apply like a lotion, making sure to rub it in well. Afterward, I walk around my house naked for about an hour (great excuse to do so) a it’s pretty dry and then I get dressed…maybe, lol. After about 3 hours I can see it starting to work but I usually can’t really see it until the next day. I always get a few shades darker and it’s never orange! I love this little secret!dustin.g

A little goes a long way and I’d advise that you take your time and put it on as uniformly as possible. I started really light and used circular motion all over my body…yes, face too! This self tanner would be perfect if you wanted to be an Oompa Loompa for Halloween, BUT if that’s not your goal then this isn’t the product for you! I was excited to use this and really hoped it would look good. I read online that most people applied before bed, so I followed suit. It goes on clear and dries fast so it’s difficult to make sure everything is even. It made me feel sticky, and the smell after it’s been on for awhile is the equivalent of burnt hair. I followed the instructions and used the mitt purchased separately to apply. The product seeps through the mitt, so it’s pointless to use. I even washed my hands three times with an exfoliating body wash after I applied, and they are STILL orange! I cannot get the orange off!! I’ve used an exfoliating body wash, rubbing alcohol, and white vinegar. It faded some but still look like I stomped around in a mud puddle and haven’t bothered to shower. Sun laboratories was established in 1983 and is family owned and operated. it is a company built on the premise of creating a line of beauty products that utilises an easy application process as well as resulting in glowing skin, free of harmful rays from the sun. 1) elbow, knees, and knuckles generally have dryer skin. therefore, those areas will absorb more sunless tanner for legs and arms. to avoid this, apply a small portion of hand and body lotion to those areas. your skin will not be able to absorb the sunless tanning product very well and thats what you want in these areas. 2) if you use before and after stickers, put them anywhere on the body before applying. 3) put on your tanning glove that comes with this product. 4) when applying the overnight self tanner, rub in a circular motion to avoid streaking. 5) after application, wait a minimum of five hours before showering or getting in the pool. 8 hours for optimal results. 6) the self tanner has a cosmetic bronzer to give you a visual of where you have applied it. while showering, you will notice the cosmetic bronzer will wash off, leaving behind the true self tanning colour. 7) colour will continue to develop even after the eight hour period after the application.

I use sun laboratories both for personal and for my business. I have a mobile tanning company and there solution is top notch my customers favor it above other ones iv tried. It goes on the best without looking orange or dirty and has a great smell. I personally use the lotions on myself an love it. I tan a lot of heavily tattooed people and the solution is safe for tattoos and can be applied on the face and it’s cruelty free! Gotta love that. I first discovered the sun laboratories brand at a Tradeshow. I let them demo it on my legs and and thought it was amazing. It completely blended into my tan line and evens me out. I could not tell my natural tan from the fake tan. It lasted about a week so I didn’t have to keep applying it. It gradually faded without looking blotchy and didn’t smell bad. easy to apply, smell is fine, dries pretty quickly. however. I am SO disappointed with this product overall! I LOVED fakebake and would rave about how flawless of a tan it is – until whatever changes they've made. it is so beyond streaky, left me with an orange glow as it was fading, and it faded FAST. Not only are the new bottles different (a little thinner/taller and white), but it seems like they changed the mitts a little bit and the formula as well. The mitt is the all black one that they've had for awhile, but it seems like it's more fine and thinner than previous ones. It also seems like less liquid soaks into the mitt, which is nice! And, the new formula dries WAY better than the old. I used to be sticky and uncomfortable the entire time I was wearing it-and had to put different sheets and pillowcases down because it melted off on EVERYTHING. I'm actually quite comfortable still having it on (12+ hours later) and I feel like the lack of an abundance of guide color means I could probably skip showering it off altogether and not look like a dirtball. There is still a guide color, so you'll still be able to see where it's applied, it's just not as plentiful. Seriously….if the color payoff is as good as the old formula, I will be immensely pleased about the change. I'm not sure I'll even have to swap out bed sheets anymore and that is HUGE!MayBAE

It took my tan to next level… and even though I may have been swayed at times by social media to try something else, I always came back to FB flawless Nothing topped FB…. This is the best self tanner you will ever use. Seriously, this is a must have. Super seamless, natural-looking tan, with zero blotchiness because the mist is very fine. I always get compliments on the color too. A much healthier alternative to excessive UV rays (though a healthy amount of sun is still great.) I like to apply after a shower before bed-time and make sure to spray evenly over my face and neck at about 7 inches away. I wipe the very edge of my hairline just, in case the product has built up and in the morning I’m all set, though if you’re having a no-other-face-products kind of day, you could totally wear this out. It gives a subtle dewy glow. It lasts about a week for me. I’ve never had a problem with this product staining any of my fabrics but I always heir on the side of caution and sleep with a shirt that I wouldn’t mind getting stained. I would also put a shirt on my pillow if I had white pillow shams, but mine are red and this product has never stained them. Totally worth the purchase even if you’re just vaguely considering it. Not into it? Exfoliate and return it, though I feel like criticisms on this product are rare. I love the idea of a natural water self tan facial mist as normal self tan products always smell chemically. This has a sort of a pleasant peachy smell. The style of the bottle shouts summer so couldn't wait to give it a whirl – St Tropez here I come! I followed the instructions and did about five pumps over my face and chin area. It feels nice landing on your skin and is not greasy and dries instantly. I just then had to wait about 4 hours or so for the results. It did give me a lovely healthy summer glow but I found out that it is important to make sure you spray evenly over your face! I obviously missed a bit and I had a noticeable pale patch of skin just alongside my cheekbone which I had missed! The second day I made sure I was more careful when spraying and the result was definitely a natural sunkissed glow. It looked so much better and a neighbour commented on how healthy I looked. It isn't perfect but certainly gave me more colour which is needed in winter!
I have to say, I was really impressed with this self tanner. It was really easy to use, you literally just spray 5 – 6 pumps on your face neck and decolletage, and leave it, you don't even have to rub, massage or spread it on. It's a spray and go. I applied it before bed and it didn't rub off in the night. I woke to a gentle natural glow, which I was pleased about as I was weary I'd end up looking like an oompah loompah, but I didn't. The texture is non greasy, and it has a lovely soft floral fragrance which is really pretty. Also you don't have to wait half an hour for it to dry or set, it's literally seconds! You also can apply it before or after your makeup, I applied it to a freshly cleaned face. Overall I would say that this product would be an excellent purchase, definitely worth getting, especially through the sunless winter months, to give yourself that soft natural glow, and get rid of the porcelain skin. The 'Classic' shade is the perfect color for light/fairer folks! Most tanners come out super orange on me, this one is the least orangey I've come across. Even better than when I tried a full spray tan. You MUST use a mitt, it's the best hack ever for a smooth application and I wish I would have known about them years ago! Would have saved me from many streaks and dyed palms. It also allows you to get a clean line along/under the jaw, which creates a natural looking contour since I don't use the tanner on my face. I prefer a foam to an over-time lotiony type, so this is perfect for me. It darkens a bit over time, but since its mostly instant you can see any unevenness as you are applying. Exfoliate/shave a day or two before. Pile on lotion to elbows, knees, ankles right before applying. Foam goes on decently non-sticky. Buff buff buff with the mitt, circular motions going with the grain of any body hair. If you do get any spots on the fingers/toes, wipe with some nail polish remover right away and that should take any color off. Color lasts at least a week+ if you are careful to not exfoliate much.Katy
I have used St. Tropez Classic for years and found it to be the best self tanner out there for my fair-medium freckled skin. After buying a recent bottle its clear the formula has changed drastically. The foam was very yellow instead of the brown color it usually is. When you put it on you turn yellow. Another reviewer described it as jaundiced and that's exactly it. After reading a review that said the same about the yellow color I immediately hopped in the shower to get it off quickly. Its terrible. I'm not sure what they did to the previous formula, but in Spring 2022 this is WAY off. I tried Tanologist (Dark, even though I lean fair-medium) and while its not what St. Tropez used to be, I'm happy with it since few self tanners get outstanding reviews. I'm liking this for quite a few reasons. It's easy to apply – much easier than the lotion and dries pretty quickly (less than 2 minutes on my skin). Not pricey, maybe a bit more than other tanning lotions and products but it's definitely worth paying that small amount extra as when comparing it to other brands; this product has the least streaking and most natural looking color, not orange, just a nice golden hue. Bonus: there is no funny smell left on your skin once you have washed it off. I find one full bottle lasts me for approximately 6 full body applications which makes it more than worth it for me. I had such high hopes for this. I’ve tried the violet, ultra dark and double dark, they are ok but naturally I tan a true cool brown so I figured this would be perfect. The color might be ok but it’s hard to tell because it’s so light! The bronzer is a nice color but after sleeping in it all night and rinsing off I felt like I had walked all the color off. I’ve been using Bondi Sands for years and while I have loved the color Bondi gives, I’ve found that it fades too fast, sometimes splotchy. Also, the application of Bondi is a bit messy and leaves me sticky for hours. I’ve been wanting to try different self tanning companies and came across MineTan. I was drawn to their products because of the different undertones. I have a yellow/green light tan skin tone so I’m not sure that dark ash was advertised for me, but I decided to try it because I wanted to see the “cool tan” look dark ash provides. The application of the tan went so much smoother than Bondi Sands. I love how I did not feel sticky at all during and after the process. I always use a blow dryer to dry my tans, and even after doing this when I was using Bondi, I’d still feel wet/sticky even after a blow dry. Not the case for MineTan Dark Ash. I can’t even tell you how in love I was with the guard color. The cool brown tone actually went perfect with my warm olive skin tone. The guard color also dried so fast. I could visibly see the color changing before my eyes. I love how this tanner takes to my face. It’s the perfect color. Also, the fade on this tan is great. Didn’t fade in splotches and the deep color lasted for days. I’m attaching a picture of my legs that I took four days after the application. Still a deep dark tan. I’ve seen reviews where people have said that this tan is only a medium/light level tan, but it definitely took dark to me. I’d equate it to the “Bondi Sands Dark” I only give it 4 stars and not 5 because I wasn’t a super huge fan of the color after I washed the guard off. It has a bit of a red tone and perhaps it’s because I’m used to the Bondi sands olive color, but I’m not sure I love a red based tan on me, think I prefer the olive look.Ashley
