This is a 5 star table compared to the $200 indoor variety but I'm considering the $500 price when rating it 3. The two halves of the table don't bolt or clamp together. Other that that, it is two tables placed end to end to create the table. I expected a spring or torsion clamp set to make the table one. I purchased this table for the family and friends to use while hanging at the pool. This is the first table that I have purchased so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Putting it together was not hard. The screws in the legs were difficult. Cornilleau should have stayed with bolts instead of using screws in the legs. The top looks nice. I wish the legs and braces were stronger. It is very easy to fold and put away. The large wheels are nice. It should come with a cover for the price. Edit: Cornilleau response: We are glad they found the table easy to assemble. The assembly can vary depending upon the persons handiness. Cornilleau has used the same type of hardware for the table construction. Oftentimes a reference to a bolt and a screw is used interchangeably. Cornilleau has changed the design a bit on the frame thus the hardware has to change as well. To fasten the metal and resin portion of the leg a bolt and a locking nut are used. This type of fastening was selected as it make the leg sturdy. The assembler needs to be sure they do not tighten the bolts until both sides of the leg are fastened to the cross bar. A video was created to demonstrate the best assembly process. The table is very sturdy and has the nice safety feature of the top locking into place. We are glad they found the table easy to assemble. to fold and move with the larger wheels. Cornilleau spends a lot of time researching the best materials and construction for their tables. It is important to construct a table that is well made, affordable, high performing and user-friendly. As for the cover the outdoor table is completely weatherproof. The primary purpose of a cover is to keep dirt and debris off the table. The cover will breakdown in the elements, generally it may only last two to three years, depending on the exposure to UV rays. Fantastic table. It did take a lot of effort to put together, more than I anticipated but doable with two people. Quality is great. Easy to put up and fold down and roll around. This ping pong table is awesome and once we got it set up we haven't had any issues with moving it around, any chipping/breaking parts, or problems with the table being uneven at the mid-line. HOWEVER! This is taking into account a few things. The table takes at least a couple hours to put together because there's a lot of pieces and each side of the table has two pieces that need to be connected (so total of 4 rectangular blocks to make the full table). If the table is not aligned well the table will be uneven at the midline (but you just need to tighten or lessen the screws to even it out). Some of the indentations where the screws go are not perfectly aligned with the brackets they give you so I had to drill at slightly different spots to fit the holes of the bracket (which did not affect the outcome of the table at all its just easier to drill into a pre-made indentation). Aside from those couple of things the table is Great especially compared to other options at $300+ price range. I would totally recommend as long as you have the time and maybe another person to help you lift it up cause its heavy. And LASTLY! I saw someone in the reviews complaining about the balls and paddle that come with it and thats a bunch of crap cause the paddles and ball are perfectly fine seeing as though they come free. It's a great table. I first saw this table two years ago at a client's work location. I've played on that table at least 100 times. We bought the same one for my son two weeks ago. You can't beat the value. For so little money you get a table that plays excellently. I am a good table tennis player, so I appreciate the high end tables. This one plays similarly. The net fits tightly, and from experience on the first table, I know that it will last. The paddles are throw-away. Sorry. You'll want to invest in a four-pack of decent paddles on Amazon, preferably with some decent rubber for getting good spin (but any four-pack they sell for $20-$30 will give you much better paddles than the included paddles. You'll play with them just the one night before you throw them out, so have your other paddles ready to go. 🙂 Also, buy 3-star balls so you get a better game going overall. This feels like a thicker table when you play. It folds up nicely. You can move it easily. They built in safeguards if you have small children so it reduces the chance of any injuries. I mainly wrote this review about the building of the table. If you are building it yourself, which my son and I did, it does take some patience. The instructions are excellent, and all the pieces are there. Everything fits. I recommend having a power tool to help you screw in all the screws, but everything fit snuggly. If you've ever built an IKEA piece of furniture or similar, that is what you are doing here. Definitely better with two people, but one person could build it – just double the build time. But very easy to do. If you've never built something from a kit, I would invite a couple of friends that have done that type of work before, and bring some cold beer for them – in about an hour you'll be playing ping pong on your new table! received this ping pong table, couple days ago I just set it up today, thankfully I have a really great FedEx guy , he always takes pride and delivering all my packages, this package came in very heavy! And I'm not going to sugarcoat this, this item is very heavy! it took two of us just to carry it in on the back porch,it took my husband over 2 hours to put this together with me and my daughter,honestly there is no faster assembly I don't believe,I will say this company is a very good company they took a lot of pride in packaging this item, they had foam around every corner of this as well as really thick cardboard to protect it from damage! And I assure you that was well needed! Because as I said this is very heavy an a very large item! We love the ping pong table it is extremely large extremely heavy and very durable! we chose the black and yellow design which by the way I would highly recommend it comes in a beautiful color! This item seems very durable seem strong made a really thick plywood! Box ships flat, is massive and heavy so be sure to be home for delivery so they can place the box where you need it. I assembled myself and it took about 3 hours! You def need power tools or else your hand will hurt from the Allen wrenching. You need two people to flip it over after assembly. Comes with wheels and a cover and folds in half. I did quite a lot of research and this is one of the Best 18 mm playing surface I found for the Value ($210). I got it at the best Price, i see it bumped back to $299. Build took almost 4 hrs for me and My 8 yr old Kid. Labelling of the screws is not good and the stickers were misplaced. I thought i was missing A10, had to rush to Home Depot / Lowes to find it. only to Find the screws in pacakging, FacePalm moment!!! Read All the reviews, Followed Reviews to Built it reverse order instead of following direction in the manual. No Need to lift and reverse. Thank you reviewers. Messed up a little bit while constructing creating additonal holes. After Built, It is amazing to Play, Build quality is good. Legs are Iron base, hence not suitable for Outdoors it will get rusty. Upon Fold, Its width is 36" Not 32.7 inches as advertised. So make sure you have space. Very Easy to Fold and Move. Wheels are quite Solid. The only drawback is in Playback position, I ignored this in the review even after reading. There is almost 1 ft space when it is in playback mode. The table itself seems great, well built. Unfortunately, I have to give this review low rating due to a problem with quality control. The table playing surface was delivered with damage on the playing surface. It mostly won't be an issue except when the ball hits the damage. It's very noticeable, and definite not something I would expect when buying a brand new table of this quality and price. I unfortunately only noticed this when the thing was fully assembled and ready to be flipped over (that's how the assembly steps are laid out). Walmart's policy for remediation is also very inconvenient. They ask to completely disassemble the table, pack it back in original packaging before the frieght pick up can be coordinated. Freight delivery usually require the box to be well packaged. Given the jigsaw puzzle that was originally packaged in as, there is no way I'll be able to do as good of a job as the factory, which will likely lead to issues with freight pick up. There just are too many hurdles to resolve this issue which most likely means I'll do nothing and just be annoyed every time I see that big gash every time I play. Solid constructed table and thick playing top. The table is extremely heavy but it is expected for a good ping pong table. The assembly is very easy, just attaches 4 T legs and wheels. Deduct one star for one missing bolt in the package. Will have to visit the Home Depot tonight to find a matching one. This looks to be an OEM table made by Blue Wave Manufacture base on a sticker beneath the table. I love how our Hathaway Back Stop Table Tennis Table has grown and evolved with our family. My siblings and I had an old one in our playroom when we were in high school. We would play with our friends for hours. When I went off to college, my roommates and I purchased our own Hathaway Back Stop Table Tennis Table for our house. It was just as the reviewers had stated in their written reviews. It was delivered to drive way on a pallet, weighed 300 pounds. Asked driver to pull pallet inside garage and he did. Very nice driver, hard working fellow. After cutting bands off the pallet, it went very fast in assembling the table. It definitely takes two to stand table upright after putting wheels on. A neighbor came over and we assembled, and afterward , played several hours of ping pong on the new table. It's missing a few features that exist with more expensive models, but that's understandable. I got this table from Big5 at a post-Christmas day sales event. It was marked down from $479 in store to $249. That is a wondrous value, which I was unable to beat. Looking at several places including Amazon. No other ping pong table even comes close if you consider dollars spent VS what you actually get. If you search online for this table, you will find many negative reviews, but personally speaking, I can attribute those (unfair) negative marks to the assembly process of this table. It is not for the faint of heart. Thank goodness I've got a Black & Decker power tool set that made it possible for me to assemble this table. I used my cordless drill for screwing in about a hundred screws. Most of the smaller parts were stapled to the bottom of one of the halves to keep it safe while in transport, so for that I used long-nose pliers to methodically remove each of the staples (around 30-40 total.) Then I used a socket wrench in conjunction with a ratchet to tighten the many 9/16 inch lug nuts and bolts. I also used a hammer to lock a cap to keep the trolley wheels in place. Without my power tool set, I would NOT have been able to assemble this table. And even then, it still took me about 4 hours to assemble from start to finish. I could have cut that short, but I took some time sorting all the hardware, which I would say helped me out a lot during the assembly process. When I was a kid, I had many LEGO sets, so as an adult, IKEA furniture is no problem for me, which I think helped me out with this table. It is one of the most challenging builds I ever did. This table has a 40-page assembly manual. Again, it is NOT for the faint of heart, and if you don't have a powertool set, forget about it! If you want a sturdy table (that is properly aligned!) and that will last you years and years of ping pong enjoyment, I suggest meticulously following along the assembly manual. I think Stiga did a good job here, writing it. Now let's talk about transporting it to your home. The guys at Big5 mentioned to me that usually when their customers buy a ping pong table, they've got a pickup truck that they can easily load. I unfortunately do not have a truck, nor my immediate family (we live in the city.) I have a midsize SUV, but so I borrowed my sister's Toyota Sienna minivan, which I figured would be large enough to hold the box the ping pong table came in. NOPE! Even after folding in the second and third row seats, the box would not fit in the Sienna. it's still about 2-3 inches too wide diagonally. And boy, is it HEAVY. This thing must weigh over 200 pounds. It took 3 guys (myself included) to lift this thing. What I ended up doing was, with the help of the beautiful people at Big5 off of Wilshire in Koreatown, we lifted up the box onto the roof rack of the Sienna. Then they supplied me with some rope twine and a pair of scissors. They really went out of their way to help me out as much as they can, and I went to their store pretty late (10 minutes before close), but they still helped me! I went wild tying the box to the roof of the Sienna. I must have used 50 feet of twine. But in the end, I think the box was pretty stable. It survived the trip home without falling off! Although I didn't go over 15 miles an hour, that probably helped, too. Overall I am very, very happy with this table tennis table! This is strictly based on setup and not the quality of the product when finished. I read it was very time consuming so immediately opted to have the store assemble it for $50, which is actually a really good deal. This issue becomes whether you could invest that $50 and a $20 tip (actually the guys from Scheel’s refused the tip) for the guys that set it up in my basement, and if that could have been put toward a better table that comes more assembled. The “two” guys spent ~ 3 hours setting this up and they had all of the tools and have done it many times. Not something I want to spend my day doing. They commented that there are different models that come more fully assemble. I know Joola claims 10 minute set up for their tables in this price range. Hope this helps… MikeMike
We got the table in good condition, no damage, no missing parts. It takes 2-3 hours to assemble(almost everything), requiring at least 2 male adults (3 adults are better) who have normal arm strength. A good thing is that the instruction is in great detail, step by step, so it only takes some time and you will get a nice table. As soon as it is assembled, it is quite easy to put into storage or move around. The most import thing is that the quality is great and it looks great! We have played table tennis for over twenty years, and this one absolutely meets our needs. If you have adults around to assembly the table, I highly recommend this product. To be honest, for 200 dollars, I'm sure you could get a lot better. However, this is still a great concept and I don't want to withhold from that. The table is much more portable than any traditional ping pong table you could think of. You can easily take it to a party or anywhere else you want to go, but there are also sacrifices.For one thing, the tabletop is not the best quality and not at all what you get on top end tables. This being said, the net is well made and holds completely straight. I believe my set came a little used, not sure if it was just from the factory, but parts of it were a little dented.The legs are quite strong and for the size, it is perfect. This table felt noticably smaller than other ping pong tables, but it is still definitely playable. You'll need your own balls and paddles, and this product will be awesome for you! We got this folding mini-ping pong table for our basement play room. The table is 40 inches wide by 72 inches long. Set up for this isn't difficult, but I felt like the table wasn't as easy to set up as it could be. The legs don't unfold and fold smoothly. And getting the table to be level isn't the easiest either. There is only one flimsy clip to keep the table closed. A clip on each side would have made it more secure. When folded the table is a bit bulky. It's about 4x40x36 inches folded. It's ok, but there isn't anything about this table that I would call impressive.Mr. F. H.
Wow, I haven't played ping pong in so long, Then I saw that this Pro Spin table was a new release and available, I was happy to place an order for it and check it out… When it arrived, I had to see what it was all about, unpacked itand opened the table folded out the legs, placed the net, all in a few minutes, simple. The table for the most part is well made, the top is smooth & looks great with its blue finish and well marked boundary lines, the frame and top really look so good together. The table-tops, two halves, are even with each other, creating some smooth game play. My Notes:* A very nice table though w/ the exception of some quality control issues such as, funky welding and sanding /grinder marks on frame,though, neither affect game play at all..** Also, the design of the two center leg poles, aren't very sturdy,they can bend out of place very easily, so just be aware when you are setting the table up.*** I do think that this Ping Pong Table is a little high priced especially when compared to the many other similar tables available..**** A simple table cover would be nice to have with this set to keep it clean, etc… between game play.*****I wanted to try it out… but, when I realized that I couldn't because there weren't any ping pong balls or paddles in the carton.. From the description, I thought that were supposed to be included? Bummer! I purchased this table for the family and friends to use while hanging at the pool. This is the first table that I have purchased so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Putting it together was not hard. The screws in the legs were difficult. Cornilleau should have stayed with bolts instead of using screws in the legs. The top looks nice. I wish the legs and braces were stronger. It is very easy to fold and put away. The large wheels are nice. It should come with a cover for the price. Edit: Cornilleau response: We are glad they found the table easy to assemble. The assembly can vary depending upon the persons handiness. Cornilleau has used the same type of hardware for the table construction. Oftentimes a reference to a bolt and a screw is used interchangeably. Cornilleau has changed the design a bit on the frame thus the hardware has to change as well. To fasten the metal and resin portion of the leg a bolt and a locking nut are used. This type of fastening was selected as it make the leg sturdy. The assembler needs to be sure they do not tighten the bolts until both sides of the leg are fastened to the cross bar. A video was created to demonstrate the best assembly process. The table is very sturdy and has the nice safety feature of the top locking into place. We are glad they found the table easy to assemble. to fold and move with the larger wheels. Cornilleau spends a lot of time researching the best materials and construction for their tables. It is important to construct a table that is well made, affordable, high performing and user-friendly. As for the cover the outdoor table is completely weatherproof. The primary purpose of a cover is to keep dirt and debris off the table. The cover will breakdown in the elements, generally it may only last two to three years, depending on the exposure to UV rays. Fantastic table. It did take a lot of effort to put together, more than I anticipated but doable with two people. Quality is great. Easy to put up and fold down and roll around. If I had to buy again I might upgrade to a version that does lock down the wheels but those models are also $300-800 more so for $650 (got it in November special) this is a fantastic table that I can rely on knowing there's a 10 year warranty.Grace C.
Table plays really nicely with good consistent bounce. Would be nice if the bat holder could hold 2 bats on each side and if the table came with 4 brakes as the wind keeps moving it! Overall we're having a great playing experience and would recommend this table to any casual players looking to have some fun.Anonymous

We've been saving for a table tennis table for the garden for a while, and when lockdown came into force I put the rest in to get it ASAP. The table is great – it feels very solid and like it will last many years. Having a small garden I fold it up and cover it every night – this is easy and can be done by one person. The blue table looks great in the garden and I recommend getting orange table tennis balls (Joola) as the contrast helps visibility and the bounce is great compared to cheap balls. Assembly was a struggle. Obviously in the Covid climate JL were only able to deliver to my driveway. The package is over 90kg and my wife and I were unable to move the box to the back garden, so I had to assemble it in the driveway to enable me to wheel it around. That's the next lockdown problem – it will need 2 adults to assemble it as you physically cannot stabilise it while attaching the bits and bobs. Again, 90kg of bulk to manipulate. That said, we overcame! Now my family look forward to our daily matches and we're all getting better with practice. We get grumpy when it's too windy to play!SteveC
