This lotion works, but if you don't wash your hands right after applying, you end up with orange palms, just wiping with a towel (like at a salon) wont help. I put this on my legs without even tanning, and it gives you a light tint. It does give you that after tan burnt smell. This lotion is actually so good. I already had fairly tanned skin to begin with and didn’t know if this lotion would truly build my tan but it really did and I am obsessed. The tones aren’t too orange and it lasts a long time and fades nicely. It looks and feels like a regular lotion. I personally kind of wish it had a scent because I love the smell of tanning lotion but it’s nice for the people who are sensitive to fragrances. I also have been using this on my face and it works just as well. My only downside to this product is that it doesn’t moisturize my skin that well. But overall I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my tan and will continue using this product. If you’re on the fence about this or another product I recommend this one.Sydney
I had my reservations about the Sleep Mask initially, but to be honest because this range is considered 'pure' and seemingly full of really fab ingredients such as Coconut Water, Vitamin C Hyaluronic Acid etc I thought it might just be one of those great products. Concept wise it seems pretty similar to most face tanners in that it has to sit on the skin for 4 hours minimum, although it isn't specified and directions simply recommend "overnight', for me it's just the same as I'd have done my face with other brands. The smell out of the tube isn't repulsive, and as with the other products in the Pure line it seems a bit daunting when there is no colour guide 🤣🤣. Since this is for the face, I admit that this scared me into believing I was going to apply wayyyy too much! I used a fairly small about but it seemed perfect enough- blended nicely and smoothly over my skin. Felt quite soothing.I got on with other things prior to getting into bed, just so I gave it enough time to absorb into my skin and I did put an old pillowcase on just in case.. (we've all been there with the sheets!!!). For me, it was quite a bit sticky for the first 10-15 minutes but this isn't unusual.Then came my horror. Before sleeping, I decided to check the directions one last time and whilst doing that I happened to read the full list of ingredients- albeit I should have done that prior to applying it 🤦🏼♀️ not my best decision. The Bondi Sands Pure sleep mask contains 4 ingredients that really mess my skin up, clog my pores and will likely break me out. One of the biggest culprits is Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E. I instantly went into panic mode and washed my face, even used an exfoliating mineral mask. At this point I did not care if my skin had a patchy weird colour, I simply didn't want a random breakout or reaction from it. Sadly, it made no difference. There was a very small amount of colour deposit on my skin the next day but of course I can't comment on whether or not it's a good product. I didn't get a full enough experience. It had however seeped into my nose pores enough that my blackheads looked a little visible from the staining.It might be great for those who have normal, dry,combination or sensitive skin but I personally wouldn't recommended it to people with acne, acne prone or clogged pores as these ingredients left on the skin overnight will clog and congest 🙁peach.s
My favourite item out of the products I've tested in this line. I am religious with my morning and nightly cleansing, retinol use, midweek masking and weekly exfoliation so naturally my face is the first area to see a self tan fade. I started to see some significant fade about three days in to the initial tan application so I decided that would be the best time to give this product a shot. Unlike the facial spray this product doesn't have any sort of natural fragrance which is fine, there wasn't much guidance on how much to use I was anxious about using either too much or too little, in the end I decided to use about a grape sized amount which managed to cover my whole face and neck evenly. As I mentioned before I am a stickler for the whole 7 step nighttime routine so to use primarily just this product and not any serums, retinol or moisturisers felt a bit foreign to me- fortunately this sleep mask contains a few ingredients that are staples in my routine such as Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. The mask absorbed quickly and my skin felt soft to touch and it was very comfortable to sleep in. In the morning I noticed no transfer on my white pillowcases which was a huge relief as I'm a side sleeper and transfer can be a problem. The mask developed into a nice even glow on my face, not nearly as intense as the rest of my body and certainly not as orange but it was subtle, wearable and I liked it. I feel that this mask can be applied to the face as a standalone product to give a bit of colour when you feel you need it most rather than as part of a two step routine with the body tan. I am a self-tan addict and I have tried many, many brands and product types over many years! I have high standards for how my tan looks and I hope my review is helpful! The body product is overall very nice but the price is less impressive when you realize how quickly you go through the bottle. The face lotion is nice too, but I'm not blown away and I don't like that it makes my face sweat profusely after application. The good: color result is beautiful and lasts a long time when compared to other brands (I swam in non-chlorinated water and it wore very well), non-streaking, no color guide is nice because it doesn't transfer onto fabrics, and it looks very natural. The bad: the product would only be a good price if there was double the fluid ounces in each bottle – I went through the entire bottle in only 2-3 applications and that was very disappointing (I'm not a large person). It does start to get splotchy on hands, between breasts, and elbow/knee ditches after a few days but I've never found a product that does not do that (I believe because skin cells naturally shed). I won't be buying the face lotion again but I will repurchase the body lotion. I will, however, continue looking for a product that is better because I'm not convinced that this is the best out there. I, like many of you I'm guessing, have tried numerous self tanners. After a skin cancer scare a few years ago, I'm much more diligent about protecting myself from the sun but also love that tan glow. I bought the face tanning serum and the dark body tanning lotion. I have tried drugstore brands, Rodan & Fields, Beauty by Earth, Isle of Paradise, St Tropez, etc etc etc. I will say this self tanning lotion is my favorite. I'm still deciding on the face serum, but the lotion is a natural glow with less of an odor than others I have tried. First I would like to say I love your product.. I recieved my recent order (order number 213187) and when I opened the box one of the shampoos had came open in transit and not only was it all over everything including the cute little drawstring pouch that the detox shampoo had been in, but my fairly expensive bottle of shampoo is wasted. It's a bit disappointing to say the least. Wanted someone aware this happened, I personally dont know about ordering again , I usually like to be able to use the product that I pay for, just sayin..I may suggest that rather than putting the very large monkey stickers in the box get smaller ones and seal the bottles shut for shipping with them. May want to pass that on or get me to someone else who can make it happen.. Sorry to be quite blunt, very frustrating.. First let me say I’m pale. Like, wicked pale. LIKE, FAMILY CAME FROM IRELAND LESS THAN A CENTURY AGO pale. I know nothing about tanning and do not claim to. I work from home, and on nice days I like to sit on the porch and work, and it was the perfect day for also trying out this product. I had no idea what to expect, but followed the instructions by applying sunscreen first and then the tanning lotion. I would say within an hour my arms, shoulders, chest, and neck were noticeably darker. Just as a side note, I tend to burn easily, and I had no burns whatsoever. That said, my legs were a bit more of a challenge- I sat in direct light with my legs up and exposed in the sun, and felt like I wasn’t making any real progress below the knee, but my knees and thighs we’re getting some color. It kept looking like the lotion was just absorbing into my skin without doing much of anything. i had to keep reapplying in that area to see some results where I did not have to do that anywhere else. It didn’t bother me so much, it was just an observation. By the end of my workday though, I had a nice sunkissed look that was natural and flattering- not orange or overdone, something I was worried about as such a pale person. I only wanted a nice healthy glow, and this definitely did that! A few other things to note though: -I bought this online and didn’t expect the actual lotion itself to be brown. I wanted this to be something I could bring to the beach and on vacation, but putting this very dark lotion on my very pale body looked… a bit problematic. I think this is something I’ll keep in my backyard. -Yes, it smells like chocolate and that smell is definitely subjective. It fades though. -It takes a while for the lotion to dry/absorb, so make sure you give yourself some time before you start moving around and touching things Overall though, I do really like this product! I purchased this because I wanted an all natural ingredient tanning lotion for indoor tanning. I read all the reviews. Some people mentioned the smell was unpleasant. It is more than unpleasant. It is awful. I tried to use it twice and the smell made me nauseous. I have to say the lotion is super thick and hard to rub in also. My skin did feel good after using it. I purchased the “original” pack and have used both products for the last week. I must feedback that the Rapid Mist spray design isn’t great. The pump continually gets stuck and the bottle is prone to leaking very easily! When trying to apply the product the spray gets stuck and then leaks down the sides of the bottle therefore making the bottle hard to hold. Whilst of holiday the RM bottle has leaked on route to destination and again in transit on way back. These products are very expensive to be leaking that easily. Luckily I had the bottle in my wash bag in both directions so didn’t stain anything apart from my wash bag! I’m unsure how much of this bottle have been wasted due to this design fault but considering I’ve hardly used it the product the bottle is nearly empty. This is such a shame as was really looking forward to trying your products and feel like they’re over priced due to the packaging being cheap and effecting consumer use. These products come in very small bottles for the money and the results haven’t been any different that if I used my usual sunbed lotion which I twice the size and last months not a few sessions! For anyone wondering…..I'm a red head, but I tan well once I get a base. I just started using this after getting a light base tan. It's absolutely magical! It does exactly what it says it does….IF you follow the directions and use it as intended. I use the Rapid Elixir lotion nightly after a shower and Rapid Mist during outdoor exposure (ALWAYS under SPF 30). I reapply the intensifier and sunscreen every hour. omg this stuff works miracles and has boosted my confidence soo much!! i brought this during the first lockdown as my fave youtuber was raving about it and with the warm weather i wanted to give it a go and im defo glad i did. i am super pale and find it hard to get a nice tan, especially by just sitting in my garden in a bikini, however, this changed my opinion on that. the texture is so moisturising and makes my skin look gorgeous, without being too greasy. the only fault i have with this product is that it goes all flaky and yellow in the sun if i havent rubbed it in properly, if you have ever worn fake tan, its almost compareable to tan wearing off and flaking haha. but thats probs just my own fault for not applying it properly. i put it on 3-5 days before i know im gonna have a full day in the sun like the bottle says which boosts my melanin levels, then i keep applying whilst im out in the sun and after a few days my skin goes the most lovely brown, more importantly not orange shade. i would defo recommend this whether youre going on holiday or are just making the most of the hot uk weather. have a nice day 🙂 xobela booooooo

Because I'm going for some medical testing over the next week, I tried using it on one of my upper thighs to test it out. It has a nice light vanilla scent, but it's quite drying.The tanning mousse dries quite quickly as you're trying to apply it, even with the mit. It makes it hard to get it applied evenly. I did exfoliate and moisturize quite well before applying the mousse, but it still dried quickly. It also dried my skin out and made it a bit itchy. It did turn my skin about a shade darker, but it looked much darker before I rinsed off the bronze moose color.You get a lot in this package, and some of it I will continue to use. But, because of my experience with the tanning mousse, I'm not looking forward to trying the rest of it with delight. This is a great tanning bed lotion. You start to tan after 5 or 6 tanning session. It also doesn't have a nasty smell like some of them do. I looks like I don't work and I spend all my time at the beach when I only spent 9 minutes in a tanning booth 4 times a week. Everyone asks me if I just got back from vacation.
