Best Tea For Skin And Hair (2024 Update)

I had bought a couple of flavors of Tiesta Tea in a store and really liked them. I mostly make iced tea instead of hot tea and loved the flavors I had tried. I bought the Discovery Sampler Dry Flight so I could try small amounts of 20 different teas and see which ones I like best. I really like most of the teas and the very few I didn't like as much a friend of mine did enjoy. I now have some new favorite teas and will be buying bigger sizes of those. I am very happy with Tiesta Tea and will continue to be a customer.Lisa D

Tiesta Tea is AWESOME! I found it at my local Publix Supermarket, and loved it so much I ordered more online. I wrote a note along with my online order telling them of my wonderful experience. I mentioned I'm a registered dietitian who plans to happily recommend this tea to patients because the fruit in it gives it a naturally sweet flavor without adding sweeteners. I never asked for anything and today they surprised me with a box of samples to give out! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! There are seven refreshing herbal teas. These are not teas, which are made from the camellia sinesis plant, but are tisanes made from other herbs, spices, fruits, etc. There is a good variety of tisanes in this box. Note that this box not really giftable as it is just an unattractive cardboard box.Over a couple of weeks I tried each one of these teas and based on the brew, this is my assessment.Ginger Sweet Peach – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – ginger, apple bits, hibiscus, papaya bits, rose hip, pink peppercorns, natural flavors, orange blossoms, rose petalsLiquor is a cloudy rose color with a hint of spice and hibiscus but no peach.Overall 3 stars.Cocoa Mint Chill – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – rooibos tea, peppermint, cocoa shell, chocolate chips, natural flavors, cornflowers (contains MILK)Liquor is a clear amber rose color with a strong minty fragrance and flavor. Infuser needs to be a tight mesh because particles are small and will leak through to the brew.Overall 5 stars.Lavender Chamomile – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – chamomile, lemongrass, blue mallow blossoms, lavenderLiquor is a clear pale yellow color. Taste is sweet but not particularly distinctive of any one flavor. Overall 3 stars.Palm Beach Punch – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – apple pieces, hibiscus, carrots, orange slices, lemongrass, eucalyptus, beetroot, natural flavors, sweet blackberry leavesLiquor is a light mauve color. "Leaf" is variable with some small lemongrass and other cuttings and larger dried fruit pieces. Taste is like punch and aroma is orange. Overall 4 stars.Nutty Almond Cream – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – apple pieces, almonds, cinnamon pieces, beetroot, and artificial flavors (contains NUTS)Liquor is a clear red color. "Leaf" is chunky due to all the nut pieces. Taste is like Christmas in a cup; absolutely wonderful with a hint of spice and apple, etc. Overall 5 stars.  Mango DreamZZZ – Brew 208 degrees 5-7 min; no caffeineIngredients – chamomile, mango pieces, lemongrass, orange peel, orange blossoms, naturals flavors, cornflowersLiquor is a faint yellow color. "Leaf" is mostly chunky due to all the dried fruit and flour pieces. Tastes like a hint of chamomile and nothing else. Overall 2 stars.Based on the average of my ratings above, this is almost a 4-star tisane collection. I would, however, expect it to come in a better box at the current price of $34.22. Tbh, I'm very disappointed! as I made the tea, I noticed the water turning yellow and not red as I expected. There is not even a hint of any raspberry flavor! the only thing they got right on the package is that it has an earthy flavor- I don't mean that in a bad way it just tastes "meh" to me. Great value for price. A whole pound of loose tea. I was given this tea as a gift from my Husband. Very flavorful. I think it is best with sugar and milk. It is English Breakfast, but I enjoy it at anytime of the day. I use two teaspoons of the loose tea in my teapot. Comes out perfect everytime. If you like lemon in your tea, this would be good. I drink this tea via loose leaf. I prefer fruity teas and this fits the bill perfectly. It doesn’t need sugar and I don’t find it overwhelmingly sweet, and appreciate the heavy apricot note in my morning cup of caffeine. Two cups of this is a really pleasant way to start the morning. A 3 oz loose leaf container lasts me ~3 months.c.m

I’m not sure how to describe the taste but it has a sweetness to the smell and this is my most favorite tea in the world. Since i drink a lot tea i buy in bulks and transfer them in canisters. It takes about 4 months to consume this whole bag or maybe longer.iHerb Customer

Most importantly it actually works at helping you feel calm, less anxious. If I wake up feeling anxious I'll prep this tea for myself and with 30min i feel a sense of calm. What can I say about this amazing and beautiful box of tea! Each bottle of Tumeric tea is flavored with an unusual selection of herbs that provide a different taste journey each time you open a new one. Have used this organic tea for several months now. I drink a half gallon of tea everyday. My husband drinks about 40 ozs. per day. Replaced the family size iced tea bags with these. I like the crisp punch of plain Lipton, but many find that bitter. This stuff is much more like "Yorkshire Gold": mellow, extremely rich, fresh wood instead of bitter. Quite unexpected. Very tasty. I put in a little sugar and milk, just to bring out all the richness. It costs a bit more than regular Lipton, but it tastes like some very very expensive teas. This was my first time purchasing teas from Traditional Medicinals. I'm really happy with both the Lemon Balm Tea and the Gas Relief Tea. The Lemon Balm Tea has a very lovely scent (sweet and lemon-like). I drink this tea before bed and sleep really well when I do. I read that it is has mild sedative-like effects. I recently stopped drinking caffeine and looking into other types of beverages that have great health benefits. This is the second dandelion tea I’ve tried and while the other was also great, I really like this one best- I might be a little biased since I really love vanilla. Opening it is a little difficult, but once it’s opened, there’s a stack of little round bags of tea instead of them being individually wrapped, which I thought was cool. I don’t personally like the string and this is perfect for my to-go Starbucks cups I enjoy drinking out of since I’m always on the go. Once steeped, you can smell hints of vanilla and the tea smells so fresh. The taste is very enjoyable and would also be great with a little cream and sugar. This tea has a mild and a little surprising taste. I have used all of mine up and it was a favourite with no caffeine. I felt it aided digestion a bit, and the flavour blend is deep and also with something sweet or minty. I drink Hawthorn along with some other teas throughout the day. Hawthorn is suppose to help maintain blood pressure. Hawthorn is good for diastolic pressure and Hibiscus is good for systolic pressure. This tea works for me. I don't like tea in general, I've found one that I can drink without going "ugh". This one tastes nothing on its own, but when I added honey all the flavours came through. We have enjoyed all the flavors, and everyone has their own favorite. The Lavender Chamomile is a bedtime fave, and doesn't taste soapy like a lot of floral teas can. Blueberry Wild Child has a burst of blueberry flavor and the green tea doesn't get bitter if left to steep fairly long. Pineapple Blues is sweet without being cloying. Our biggest issue is with packaging – the zlip pouch isn't intuitive – 2 people just ripped the top off. Also, is there a way to get away from plastic?Lezlie L
