I love this toner! I’ve previously been turned away from toners because so many of them market themselves as exfoliators or an extra cleanse, but once I got this one, I can’t do my skincare routine without it! This toner markets itself as a 2-in-1, softening and hydrating the skin. The formula is a thin, watery consistency that I find soaks into the skin immediately. I pour a small amount into my hands and rub / pat the product into my skin. It layers well with other serums and moisturizers. Some reviews will say it leaves a tacky or oily residue, but I’ve never experienced this and actually love the way it makes my skin look and feel. After consistent use, this product has completely changed the way my skin looks and feels and I don’t go a morning or night without using it. What really sold me was when I layered this with my retinol and then my AHA/BHA serum. This toner provided the perfect base for more abrasive/irritating skincare products (truly changed the game for me!). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, but especially those with dry skin. The laneige Cream Skin toner moisturizer is another thing I’ve added to my routine with the colder weather here, and I’ve been nothing but impressed so far! ☁️ HOW IT WORKS ☁️ 🍵 White Tea Leaf Water: specialized tea leaves grown in the shade for most of their life cycle and harvested annually, to increase the amino acid composition. This is a natural defence for tea leaves in response to decreased exposure to sunlight, but now to the interesting part… 🍦Cream blending technology: chemically impressive af, Laneige accomplished something that’s scientifically quite a challenge. Toners usually contain ingredients that are humectants (retain moisture, almost always water soluble) while moisturizers usually contain emollients (prevent moisture evaporation, biphase solution of oily and watery phase made homogeneous through emulsification). Getting a biphase solution to look and feel the same, instead of the heterogeneous example in my stories, usually involves a thickening effect; hence why moisturizers are a lot thicker than single phase solutions like toners. So how did they achieve this while keeping the watery texture? Turnin up the pressure babyyyyy. No literally, I’m talking like PSI. Using a high-pressure blending process to break down the oil into the tinniest of units, so that it can be immersed into the watery phase without separation. The result is a light formula that quickly absorbs hydration into the skin, with long-lasting moisture. It does form a slight film on the skin so personally I don’t find that it works best to use right after cleaning your face. I would recommend more for those with dry and dehydrated skin or those who live in colder climates, because of how rich this feels on the skin. My son has very sensitive skin and was prone to acne, but most acne medications dried his skin up way to much. I always use witch Hazel after cleansing my face, to remove any left over residue. So I thought, hmmm I wonder if it would help him? So to make it easier and less “girl product”, I bought a screw top reusable plastic container (the one in the photo is by Ziploc) and loaded it with a package of cotton rounds. If you notice in the photo, I separated them and then arranged them slightly overlapping each one. This helps to remove one each time. I then liberally pour the witch Hazel onto the pads. As they soak up the liquid, you can usually get the rest of the single sleeve in there. Make sure they are soaked through. But not leaving a puddle in the bottom of the container. Now they are great cleansing pads, but without the salicylic or benzoyl acids, that dry out the skin. The witch Hazel pads remove any left over soaps or cleansers, excess oil from sweating etc, and really do help your skin at the same time. My son can now quickly use these pads in the morning before school, after school and before bed without his skin drying, and now his skin looks and feels great.andi.b
This product has delighted me, and I think I will stay a loyal user of it for a long time. The packaging is enormous; even though I use it daily, it wears off very slowly. The product is extremely gentle on my skin and leaves no traces of dryness. By the way, my skin is oily, but it gets dehydrated quickly and is very demanding. The pores on the face are smaller and tighter after using this product for longer. My face feels fresh and clean after using it. I use it after washing and cleansing my face in the morning and at night. My only complaint is the product's smell, but luckily, it's not intense or unpleasant. While I used a gift card to purchase this tonic, these are my honest opinions. Details: This tonic is a liquid exfoliator formulated with fruit AHAs niacinamide, Japanese mugwort & wild rose. Liquid exfoliation is gentle & removes dead skin cells to help with congested pores. In addition to the above, the tonic has the scent of the sweet fennel & rosemary oil to minimize excess sebum & oil creation while it boosts your mood. This is a cruelty-free product My experience: For reference, I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin with some redness & sensitivity. This is a yellow, watery tonic that removes dead skin cells, oil, & dirt as well as unclogs pores. It has a lovely scent that isn’t too strong. I’ve been using this since 1/17 & my sensitive skin hasn’t experienced any irritation. I do take care not to use it when I’m using retinol. My skin is more even & smooth with a healthy glow. I also notice it helps with oil reduction. you can see lightening of my hyperpigmentation (not including the random breakout). This is my second bottle and I won’t ever be without it! I battle bouts of hormonal acne thanks to PCOS so I always seem to have congested skin no matter what I do (I’ve tried everything including a variety of medical interventions!). I noticed quite a drastic improvement 3-4 weeks after commencing use – my redness was minimised to just my nose (normally spread across my whole T-section and cheeks) and my skin was so much smoother! Three months after starting use I noticed that my breakouts were far less severe and reduced to only 1 or 2 spots. I’m a huge fan of Tatcha products but this one is my absolute favourite. Contrary to directions, I use it twice a day directly after cleansing, and I apply a generous splash in my palms directly to my face (just like applying an essence and patting in gently) rather than losing product on a cotton pad. I’ve had no issues with “over use” with my sensitive and reactive skin!Auburn86
I like this exfoliating toner a lot, as it definitely works, yet is still gentle enough that it would be an ideal starting point for anyone looking to try out/begin using chemical exfoliants in their skincare routine, or for when you want to help prevent congestion. Despite applying this immediately after cleansing (which is when you should apply a liquid exfoliant and/or toner), I did find that it took a while to sink in fully, which I suspect is due to the various plant oils included in the ingredients – it's not necessarily a bad thing, since the oils can help offset dryness caused by the acids, but conversely, they can also be irritants on some skin (particularly those sensitive to essential oils). It's not a deal breaker, especially since it didn't cause any subsequent absorption issues with any of the products I applied afterwards, but still worth noting. If you like to use multiple products afterwards, definitely give them time to sink in to avoid pilling. I think this will be more useful in warmer weather at reducing oil, and it does help a bit in evening out skin. Definitely depends on your skin type and the climate. Use this in my daily regimen. So far after using this a couple week Ive noticed less oily skin. I plan to continue to use this with my other epionce products. Of all of Good Light's products, this one is by far my favorite. I live in a hot and dry climate with oily and sensitive skin, and find myself reaching for this whenever I need extra hydration. It works super well in my skin repairing routine. It reminds me of those milky toners like the Laneige Cream Skin or the Tonymoly Mochi Toner, but I really prefer this one as it really nourishes my skin when it's beaten down. Like those toners, it has a very mild scent. But it doesn't really linger on the skin. If you're the type that doesn't like fragrance in skincare, you can't actually smell it on your body.. (or maybe I just have a weak sense of smell.) I really am excited to see what this small brand comes out with next.. and I'm excited to see them at ulta now!!L
Im sad writing this review because I wanted to love this. It comes in a very sturdy thick glass bottle. The actually product really looks like milk. The moment I put it on my face I was in love. It’s soooo refreshing. It gives you that ahhhh feeling on the face. After my ahhh moment I noticed the “milk” wasn’t soaking in. It left a sticky residue all over my face. I ignored it because I had high hopes for this stuff. After awhile I couldn’t take it and had to rewash my face. It never moisturized and never soaked in. This was very refreshing but it leaves a film on your face that just feels dirty. Very disappointed will not be repurchasing.lasheba.s
so i purchased because i needed a new toner and i loved the glass bottle. i used it everyday in my routine. my skin, which was once glowing everyday, stopped glowing. i thought was skin was getting immune to my routine and it was "too much moisture" but no. i assume because this toner says to gently "exfoliate", that's what irritated my skin. it made me question my other products, but once i removed this my skin was back to glowing and feeling smooth THE NEXT DAY. i use the vitamin E aqua boost essence lotion etc from the body shop which i'm pretty sure has fragrance and it doesn't bother my skin. it makes it super dewy + glow btw. i have more dry to combination skin, so if you have dry skin, would not recommend for daily use. i'm going to try using it minimally in my routine and see if that's better. you're not supposed to chemically exfoliate everyday, so i found it quite rough. it also would burn my skin.emmy

This toner was included in a Dermstore kit (I purchased 2!). I think I purchased them because of an Obagi cleanser I had fallen in love with, and as a result, I've now fallen in love with the toner. I basically do a variation on a Korean routine, and I follow this up with an essence that I combine with the serum(s) I'm using that day/night. The toner makes my skin feel fresh and clean without feeling stripped in the least. I am sure I will purchase a bottle when my very generous samples are finished. I love that it has a powerhouse of amazing ingredients that target different skin problem areas, which got me excited to try the products. It does have a good variety of AHAs in addition to the lightening ingredients so if you have sensitive skin, patch test before using it on larger noticeable areas. I love that it is not loaded with fragrance! If fragrance is in the product, i would like to have everything else on point to make up for it or for it to be toward the bottom otherwise I’m put off. I prefer fragrance free even though I don’t have a sensitivity to it. I want my skin care straight to the point and not fluffed with fragrance so the smell is never an issue for me when the ingredients are awesome. Skin cell turnover decreases with age and with POC hyperpigmentation is hyperactive and easily triggered. So it can take longer, an average of three months, for results to be prominent. So those saying it doesn’t work after using for less time than that time, especially less than a month (unless their skin is known to respond right away to those types of products), wouldn’t have given a proper analysis to it. Users should be familiar with their skin, what their skin needs, and what their skin responds to before knocking a product. I used to love the dermatologica products as they were always recommended for my mildly sensitive skin (nt: I can still use drug store products so I’m not super sensitive). This toner burns within 2-3 seconds of it being on my face and I end up with red blotches so I’m unable to use it at all. Initially I thought it was maybe an interaction with my moisturiser, so swapped that out but no luck. Dermalogica is the brand that I was first introduced to in 2004 years when I started taking care of my skin. I used this toner for years!! I didn’t branch out and try anything else. Lol At the time I had very oily, acneic skin and it worked great. I still use this (along with other timers on and off) today and have sensitive, combo toward dry, rosacea skin and it works great. It worked for both skin types. It does have a fragrance but never bothered me. I love the scent. It sprays out nicely, but you can also spray it onto a cotton or reusable pad. I am a huge fan of the properties of rose water. My favorite, which was made from Bulgarian roses, used to cost me about $32 but that price was getting a little too pricey. Cocokind's formula is the same quality but at a price I can afford even with Bulgarian roses! When I was getting near to running out, I even ordered the jumbo rosewater toner to keep refilling this bottle. I also appreciate the company for being transparent about carbon emissions and putting those calculations on the product packaging. My skin looks so healthy and happy when I use it. I love this product. I use it every morning and night as a second cleanser after washing my face. It’s gentle and I love the smell. I usually need a bit more product sprayed onto the reusable cotton pads from Cocokind if I’m using those, but the eco-friendly aspect is worth it. I bought this when I heard acid toners are the way to go for exfoliation and I really needed it. I had dry patches and oily skin and marks from all my teenage acne. Since Target is the closest store to me and this seemed the most affordable I just went with it. I used it consistently. About 2-3 times a week and I could really feel a difference from the first try! I didn’t notice a difference in appearance but stuck to it because my skin felt amazing but then about six months into using this a friend I hadn’t seen in months asked me if I was wearing makeup! I used to use pixi glow tonic years ago, after receiving a sample and loved it, but stopped for one reason or another. My skin has changed this year though, and I was battling with black heads and rough skin, so thought I'd gives this a try again. Goodness me!! I don't think I could ever live without it now!! My skin was so much smoother after only a couple days use and has kept those blocked pores at bay. I’ move been using this product for almost a year now, and it’s one of my favorite skin care products on the market. Typically, my skin is labeled as sensitive, which is seen as a no-go for using this product, but I gave it a chance and have absolutely loved it. If your skin is like mine, I highly recommend this product. I have picky skin – it’s not necessarily acne prone, but I do get hormonal acne. I have a sensitivity to fragrances, but not all fragrances such as vanilla or camamille. I also have eczema, mainly on my hands, that reacts badly to frequent hand washing, a lot of different lotions, and when I eat a lot of sugar or spicy food. My facial skin will also have an eczema like reaction to similar situations. Even “sensitive skin” lotions or moisturizes make my skin break out in eczema. I think the glycolic acid works will with my skin, mostly because it’s a humectant. It draws moisture in and locks it’s in. I don’t even have to use a daily moisturizer on top of the toner because my skin is so moisturized after using the product, Secondarily, I think this product works because of the exfoliant/antibacterial aspect of the formula. For the same reason that glycolic acid works as a deodorant, this product helps reduce bad bacteria from my skin and clears oils and bacteria buildup. My skin becomes less textured, my pores become less visible, my skin is moisturized, and scarring is less noticeable. This product will forever be in my rotation. + I also use it as a deodorant, and can confirm 100% that it works. I’ve been out dancing and drinking and asked around to see if there was any noticeable odor, and the feedback was all that they couldn’t smell anything! I am reviewing this for use on KP also known as chicken skin on my arms and legs. I also took before and after pictures to compare. I am also in my mid 30s and am rarely outside for reference. I tested this on my arm for 1 week without using lotion or any other products on my skin (except for soap obviously). Within a day or two I was already seeing skin redness fading and my skin looked less rough. The roughness was obviously helped because it's an acid. 7 days in I started applying lotion as well. I used Cerave lotion formulated for rough and KP skin. My final results are that this acid is absolutely a wonderful product for KP and used along with lotion and body oils could absolutely decrease KP by a lot. It is a great price for a product that can really help your skin be smoother, less red, and softer. My KP actually shifted from just on my upper arms and thighs to my forearms and calves a few years ago and no amount of lotion of exfoliation has helped my skin be smoother. With this acid, I feel like I recognize my own arm again! Redness is cut down to a third of what it was! Roughness is half of what it was! And this is after only a week of daily use! I will definitely by using this daily and buying more. As a warning, I did notice that you have to take the warning about being out in the sun seriously. On day 3 I was outside for about 15 minutes and that night when I applied the acid, my skin turned bright red and tingled quite a bit.Ali
I saw clear changes after just 2 weeks of use. The toner visibly reduced hyperpigmentation I have on my body and smoothed texture. Literally after 2 weeks of use, I saw some hyperpigmentation marks disappear completely and this one big elevated scar is now level with the rest of my skin in that area. I patch tested it twice before starting to use it. I only use the toner twice a week (and not on consecutive days). I also noticed that applying a physical exfoliant while showering (which I already do) speeds up the lightening/fading (of course I do not apply a physical exfoliant on broken skin/open scars). The toner is sticky upon application and can take a while (15-30min) to dry/absorb into the skin. Once it does absorb into the skin, the skin is left with a beautiful glow, which resembles a body highlighter without the visible glitter particles/sparkles. Do not use anywhere near broken skin/open scars/open wounds/acne. The toner smells like ginseng and berries (makes sense as ginseng and Tasmanian pepperberry are among the ingredients) for an hour or so before fading. It's a beautiful smell and I would love to check out perfumes that smell like the toner. Unfortunately, after using it for more than 4 months, I've noticed that the toner's effectiveness at lightening hyperpigmentation is decreasing. This decrease in effectiveness could be due to my skin growing insensitive/accustomed to the product and/or due to the intensity of my hyperpigmentation (very dark and been there for a while). This was first time I tried this toner though have been using the rest of the products from the "Ultra Facial" line for ages. I love the texture of it, this tones is so moisturising. In the evenings, to give my skin an extra bit of a clean, I use it with a cotton pad. In the mornings, I can just apply a little with my hands – this saves lots of the product. I really enjoyed using this toner as it didn't leave a sticky residue unlike many other toners I've used, and it's really light. I've been using it for around 2 months now, and my redness and acne has decreased slowly but steadily. I have very sensitive skin and this glycolic acid doesn’t break me out or burn my skin which is definitely a win for me. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I have a hard time telling how much of a difference it makes for me. I definitely like it though. I can tell it’s doing something because it does make my face very slightly warm and red for a minute after applying but that is to be expected with a chemical exfoliator and it’s not uncomfortable or long lasting at all. I had couple times bumps like this before but was like 1 or 2. This time was 6 or 7 of them around my right side chin and did made me worried about it! So I went to the store in person and talked with one of the beauty adviser showed her my face for few seconds. She was wearing mask, very kind asked me to do describe how the bumps and the texture, and then asked me if it’s okay for me to show her how the bumps it look like. I showed mine couple seconds. she advices me about this brand was coming from ordinary. Help me to build some trust with this new brand for my first time try and I am very glad the first time I use this and following up with ordinary’s Lactic serum worked! One use the hard bumps went down and reduced size; I try to use it at night time and every other night. Remember to protect your skin with some type of sunscreen after start using these treatment. This product is amazing, especially for the price. I definitely don't recommend using as a toner daily though unless you have Rhino skin. I like to use this at night, 2-3 times a week, pre doing a face mask. So I will swipe this all over a cleansed, dried face, leave it for 5 minutes and then apply a face mask over it and then rinse it all off when I remove the mask. I still Clearly see the exfoliation this product offers and the skin always looks sooooo smooth after and into the next day. I rarely put reviews but this was seriously a game changer. When I suddenly got skin bumps that were not quite hormonal acne, but more like clogged whiteheads or fungal acne it was very hard to get rid of the stubborn spots, however, when I started using this the blemishes started going away. It is gentle enough for beginners to acid toners (like me) and was fine to use often throughout a week (and my skin is acne prone, dry, AND sensitive). I finished the whole bottle and it has been a while since my last use of it but my skin has been smooth and without the small fungal acne since. As someone who has always had horrible reactions to toners, this one is a godsend! It provides the perfect amount of gentle exfoliation for my dry, slightly sensitive/reactive skin. All other toners leave me with painful rashes that take about a week to heal; this one I use every other day and the results are great! I definitely feel like it zips up my pores where they're bigger, on and near my nose (in appearance, not literally), and sloughs off all the old dry skin that is congesting my skin. I use retinol as well and find that because my skin cells turn over so quickly, I need a toner to keep polishing off the old stuff. I'm able to use this frequently with no irritation, which is kind of miraculous for my skin type. I docked one star because the bottle is tiny, and with frequent use it runs out way too quickly imo. It is a watery toner and more gentle than other PHA toners I have tried before. I have combination and acne prone skin and it not irritate my skin. I used it mostly for its soothing and cleaning effect. However, there was no improvement in my skin texture or evenness and breakouts. But it made my skin very sticky, which I hated. I really cannot say any other things about this toner, so I encourage you to try this yourself since it is quite affordable and can be a great addition to your skincare routine. Same as other bottled products from The Inkey List, this product came leaked with only half full. Even if I want to repurchase it, I would not until they change the package.baljmaa.b

Initially I purchased the basic kit without the toner. When it was time to reorder, I included the toner. I’m truly enjoying it! The directions say to use it during the morning routine only, but I am using it faithfully both morning and evening. I love the way it makes my skin feel- fresh, soft, clean! I've been using Averr Aglow products for a few months now (#1 & 2, plus the exfoliating mask and mascne spray), but not quite willing to totally give up on my anti-aging products. I have really really bad blackheads and always have using this has definitely helped some. It didn’t cure them all overnight but I see an improvement and less wrinkles in my skin. I use the luminous kit. It is getting really pricey at this point. I’ve used it for two months now and have got three orders (of various items that run out). Hoping they come out with a cheaper refill packaging soon because I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford this much longer. I had a really bad rash and acne when I turned 23. And it took me until now (2 years later) to find products that worked for my skin. I went to a dermatologist and they had me use some creams and just plain facewash and it helped clear up the rash but didn’t help my skin tone or complexion. I love this product! I use it almost every day to clean my skin before any application. It works great to remove makeup and any harshness left on my skin! This product is good for the pores and removes most of the excess oil that my face creates. I have awful combination skin, especially around my nose. I also hear that witch hazel can reduce varicose veins so might start applying this product to my legs to see if this is true or not. You never know! I have found that this product is just great for my skin. No harshness or issues.
I love this facial toner for my skin. I like how it’s not oily, not overpowering, doesn’t irritate the skin. Very good product for sensitive skin. I also love after my face is done from wash, when I put it on my cotton ball and lather on my face, it makes my skin feel so fresh, awake and a glow. I have not had any breakouts as I have them crazy. It’s one of my favorites and I will continue to repurchase.yessy .p
It really isn't bad as far as witch hazel goes. Personally I don't like the smell of unscented witch hazel so I would add some lavender or rose to it if I were going to buy it. My only real issue with it is the price. I've bought other brands of witch hazel (unscented & scented) for up to $4 less. I'm not sure "organic" makes this worth $4 more. But I may try one of their scented variations before making up my mind!

This is my first First Aid Beauty products and I must say I really like it! So much that it will be a permanent skincare product in my routine. I love oat products, this one has colloidal oat, wild oat and honey. It works on all skin types, mine being combination. Currently halfway through my 3rd bottle! This stuff is great to put right after you wash your face, when its still damp, and before you apply your serums/treatments. My skin get dry easily, especially after washing, so this is great to avoid that tightened feeling. IMO, it's better than the Laneige Cream Skin. I received this toner in one of my monthly subscription boxes from BoxyCharm and I'm absolutely blown away at how well this toner performs. I have really dry thirsty skin during the Winter months and nothing I would buy ever helped it, I would apply loads of moisturizer but a couple of hours later I'd be re-applying it because my skin would loose the moisturizer feeling and go right back to feeling dry and like I hadn't used a moisturizer at all and I could see dry patches all over my face and my pores were horrible and huge well that is until this Amazing Perfect toner came into my life! Fantastic toner! So skin friendly and not at all harsh – in fact quite the opposite to that – it's hydrating and it can be swept safely over the eyes too! Not many (any?) toners I've used have been recommended to do that with! This is a beautiful safe toner that hydrates as it sweeps over any area I choose – neck, eyes, face. The colour of the bottle is beautiful and now that I'm nearing the end of my first bottle I'll be buying a second bottle because it's been my go-to toner ever since I bought it. It lasts a decent amount of time too. I have oily combination ageing skin and this toner did it for me! I can use it comfortably, effectively and safely wherever I need. I expect any skin type would be able to use this happily. It doesn't have much of a scent at all – just a little bit of fresh ocean-like scent to it. I can highly recommend it and will be buying it again for myself. My skin looks more hydrated after use and it doesn't leave any residue on the skin like some toners can. It just leaves my skin feeling better and looking better. I really enjoyed this toner. my skin tends to be fairly sensitive when i introduce a new product into my skincare routine. Especially if it has any fragrance in it. But the scent was pleasant, not too overwhelming. And my skin wasn't irritated, but I noticed how soft it made my face, especially around my nose and under my bottom lip, the areas that are the most sensitive and dry, were moisturized and soft. I just bought me second bottle of the milk peel toner. I found it to be an excellent product that works incredibly well for my skin. I’ve used Kiehls products for almost ten years now and I’ve been really happy with most. This one and the retinol serum, which I use together, have yielded notable results. My skin is smoother, clearer with a more even tone…and best of all, some of my wrinkles have been minimized. I find the price reasonable (I purchase when they’re on sale). The toner looks a bit weird because it’s separated into a milky layer on top and a clear layer on the bottom but you just need to shake the bottle really well before you use it and it’s all good. I would recommend to anyone to at least give it a try. I noticed some results in a few days which became even more noticeable after a few weeks of use.Renchick
I absolutely LOVE this toner. I find that this does a better job than 2% salicylic acid to keep my breakouts away. The biggest thing that got me hooked on this product was after two uses, when I woke up in the morning, the blackheads on my nose were completely cleared. I have never seen them that clear before and I exfoliate pretty regularly. I am a user of retinol, so my skin is on the more sensitive side. When I first opened the product, I knew that using this twice a day would be too much for my skin, so I tried using it once at night daily, but my skin became too raw to continue that schedule. Instead, I now use it 2-3 times a week at night, and it works well enough to keep my skin clear. I am impressed with this product because I have never found a product before this that is able to keep my skin 100% clear even during that time of the month (and I have been using salicylic acid for years – I usually get 2-3 pimples). I find that this doesn't leave my skin feeling dry at all the next morning which salicylic acid usually does. I wouldn't say this product is so hydrating that it can replace your hydrating serum step if you have one, but since it is an exfoliating toner, I am impressed that it replaces the moisture in my skin even with the LHA. Only reason I am detracting a star is because I'm not a huge fan of the fragrance (it has a citrusy smell), but it doesn't irritate my skin, and I could not use the product anywhere close to 2x a day like the label suggests. I would recommend to those who don't have an allergy to fragrance! It helped my skin so much. Just make sure to test out how frequently you can tolerate using this.shannon.h
I received this toner alongside a few other products as part of a gift set that I received for free from Bzzagent. The rating is the fact that it is a good quality product. The quality is not the problem here-the problem lies in that it’s a good start, but it doesn’t carry me over the finish line.  If we were looking at a dry complexion, this would likely be great. If it was a normal complexion, it would be great or not, depending on if it leaned oily or dry.  If they wanted to market this for more oily complexions, it would be wise to include more acne fighting ingredients such as tea tree, witch hazel, etc., and cut out the almond milk and emollients. In short, Kiehl’s seems to be trying to fit everybody into their brand, when it’s clearly obvious that they are more suited for normal to dry complexions. corinne .b

I received this toner in my fabfitfun box and I am very happy to say I have repurchased this toner 4 times since then. I had never heard of Skin and Co. before receiving that product but once I tried it my skin completely changed. I am 21 years old and I have oily and clogged skin. This toner makes my complexion even, takes care of minor breakouts I have, reduces redness, and so much more. I love that it also has antiseptic properties and if I feel I need to I can give my skin a quick cleans with just the toner. I love and talk about this product so much that 4 other people have started using this toner and are in love with it as well. Do yourself a favor and buy this product.
Please note that I have the sample size (30ML) SKINCO ROMA Truffle Therapy Face Toner, that I received in my April 2017 Ipsy glambag. I have never heard of this brand before and this will be my first time trying a product from them. There’s not much information on them, within their website other than where the ingredients are from and formulated to help keep your skin healthy. I am very into how this brand is vegan, gmo, gluten, cruelty free, and etc. Overall the product is my first time trying toner, I haven’t been into toners before. My usual skin care routine is face mask, exfoliate, cleanser, and moisturizer. My daily skin care has advanced since using this toner, I have incorporated trying different toners into my daily routine. I like how this product doesn’t have a strong aroma, I expected it to because that’s how I saw toner as and I don’t like strong smells. The product is light on my skin and doesn’t make it feel dry once applied. I like how the results overtime, my skin has more glow to it and feels extra soft. I was really excited to receive this toner in my Causebox. My mistake: I did not really understand the intended purpose of this toner. I figured “truffle therapy” meant it would be a nourishing toner…I was wrong. This is more of an exfoliating toner, and I was using it way more than I should have, which was making my skin SO dry. I have stopped using it daily and using it more as an exfoliating/purifying toner. I’m not very impressed. It’s fine. This is advertised as part cleanser and I don’t think my skin would handle that (see it drying my skin a TON). Lesson learned: when you get a product in a subscription box, don’t use it blindly.
