Wow wow. This makes a huge difference in my skin. I was using it every other night but definitely suggest to use every night once your skin has acclimated. I prefer this to retinol as you can’t use both. My nighttime routine is putting a little puddle right on my hand and then using my other hand to rub it around my face and neck. I use my eye serum and then top with moisturizer. My skin is brighter, smoother, even helps control my oily skin throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend this more!
Over this toner is OKAY. I wish I would have noticed that the majority of the reviews were incentivized. The packaging is nice and I like the size of the bottle and how much comes out when you pour. Now for the actual product. First and for most, this toner smells awful. It’s almost like putting vinegar on your face. Secondly, it’s tacky feeling. It doesn’t matter whether you put it on dry skin or damp—you will notice it’s still there. My skin has cleared up some using this toner but honestly I don’t look forward to using just because the smell. I was hoping to find a replacement for glow recipe, but 100% this is NOT it.katieb1991

Texture is not watery but more like a syrup. It has a mild floral scent which disappears quickly after applying. Skin appears to be hydrated and glow after use. It doesn't leave a sticky/ oily film on the skin like some of other thick toners. I've heard of this brand via Korean youtubers so when I saw it was on sale I grabbed two lol. The packaging is nice – it comes in a sturdy plastic bottle, so it's not as fragile and heavy as glass but also doesn't feel cheap. Maybe I've bought into the hype, but the toner is quite hydrating and not like the watery kind. It's a touch sticky, but nothing too unbearable so I like it. TLDR; BUY THIS TONER, DARK SPOTS GONE I had cystic acne that popped up because of constant mask wearing (disposable masks) at work. Clusters of huge pimples, to the point that it hurt to smile and no amount of makeup could cover those mountains on my face. I used the COSrx pimple patches (which also worked wonders) to reduce the size of my breakouts and help clear them faster, along with the Proactive toner, Beekman Victamin C booster, and Exuviance AHA cleanser massaged in my skin with my Foreo device. I noticed my pimples weren't lasting as long, and were less frequent but they left horrible dark scars. I bought this toner and used it twice a day after cleansing in addition to everything else in my routine and just after a week I noticed the dark spots fading and my pimples becoming less frequent. After a month I had to smack myself for not buying this toner sooner. My dark spots are pretty much all gone and I have no more pimples. There are still a couple tiny acne scars that are stubborn and won't clear, but a little CC cream covers them up just fine. My skin is soft, smooth, and brighter than ever! Side note: I switched to cloth masks and used a new one every day. The disposable masks were causing my clusters of pimples, even though I changed them every hour. I find that niacinamide serums like the ordinary has are sometimes annoying to put on so this is perfect for me. Just adds a little extra to my skincare routine! I actually do think it's brightening and making my skin look better. I wouldn't say my skin has ever looked really dull, but the overall skin tone feels more even to me. I have slight roseacea on the bottoms of my cheeks (like where a dog's jowls are lol) and I feel like they have become a lot calmer!!!! That's really important to me because I can't wear foundation cause I have freckles all over my face and I don't like to hide them. It not only has glowing reviews but it was highly recommended from the Sephora employee. I ended up purchasing it with high hopes. Unfortunately, after using this toner for almost a month, I've not only discontinued use but had no noticable positive effects. I will note that this is a high acid toner and I do have dry skin but skin sensitivity is not an issue. That said, I had some issues with this toner. I noticed with the first application of this toner a very slight stinging sensation. This was after a basic face wash. It was nothing too dramatic but noticiable. This stinging sensation did not occur with every use but I couldn't exactly pinpoint the cause… I used multiple face washes and didn't use it daily or after exfoliating. I also stopped any other skincare treatments during the time I was using this toner. After the first week and only applying it to the dark spots which are on my forehead and the sides of my face, I saw absolutely no difference. After 3 weeks, absolutely no change. After babying my not sensitive skin for almost a month to ensure this toner didn't cause any adverse reactions to end up with zero results is disappointing. I have been using this product for two years now and I love it!!! I had not only helped my sun damage fade but has brightened my skin as well!!! I have the large size and the smaller size to travel with and it’s also TSA approved. My husband has even started using this product as well!! I’ move been using this product for almost a year now, and it’s one of my favorite skin care products on the market. Typically, my skin is labeled as sensitive, which is seen as a no-go for using this product, but I gave it a chance and have absolutely loved it. If your skin is like mine, I highly recommend this product. I have picky skin – it’s not necessarily acne prone, but I do get hormonal acne. I have a sensitivity to fragrances, but not all fragrances such as vanilla or camamille. I also have eczema, mainly on my hands, that reacts badly to frequent hand washing, a lot of different lotions, and when I eat a lot of sugar or spicy food. My facial skin will also have an eczema like reaction to similar situations. Even “sensitive skin” lotions or moisturizes make my skin break out in eczema. I think the glycolic acid works will with my skin, mostly because it’s a humectant. It draws moisture in and locks it’s in. I don’t even have to use a daily moisturizer on top of the toner because my skin is so moisturized after using the product, Secondarily, I think this product works because of the exfoliant/antibacterial aspect of the formula. For the same reason that glycolic acid works as a deodorant, this product helps reduce bad bacteria from my skin and clears oils and bacteria buildup. My skin becomes less textured, my pores become less visible, my skin is moisturized, and scarring is less noticeable. This product will forever be in my rotation. + I also use it as a deodorant, and can confirm 100% that it works. I’ve been out dancing and drinking and asked around to see if there was any noticeable odor, and the feedback was all that they couldn’t smell anything! I am reviewing this for use on KP also known as chicken skin on my arms and legs. I also took before and after pictures to compare. I am also in my mid 30s and am rarely outside for reference. I tested this on my arm for 1 week without using lotion or any other products on my skin (except for soap obviously). Within a day or two I was already seeing skin redness fading and my skin looked less rough. The roughness was obviously helped because it's an acid. 7 days in I started applying lotion as well. I used Cerave lotion formulated for rough and KP skin. My final results are that this acid is absolutely a wonderful product for KP and used along with lotion and body oils could absolutely decrease KP by a lot. It is a great price for a product that can really help your skin be smoother, less red, and softer. My KP actually shifted from just on my upper arms and thighs to my forearms and calves a few years ago and no amount of lotion of exfoliation has helped my skin be smoother. With this acid, I feel like I recognize my own arm again! Redness is cut down to a third of what it was! Roughness is half of what it was! And this is after only a week of daily use! I will definitely by using this daily and buying more. As a warning, I did notice that you have to take the warning about being out in the sun seriously. I saw clear changes after just 2 weeks of use. The toner visibly reduced hyperpigmentation I have on my body and smoothed texture. Literally after 2 weeks of use, I saw some hyperpigmentation marks disappear completely and this one big elevated scar is now level with the rest of my skin in that area. I patch tested it twice before starting to use it. I only use the toner twice a week (and not on consecutive days). I also noticed that applying a physical exfoliant while showering (which I already do) speeds up the lightening/fading (of course I do not apply a physical exfoliant on broken skin/open scars). The toner is sticky upon application and can take a while (15-30min) to dry/absorb into the skin. Once it does absorb into the skin, the skin is left with a beautiful glow, which resembles a body highlighter without the visible glitter particles/sparkles. Do not use anywhere near broken skin/open scars/open wounds/acne. The toner smells like ginseng and berries (makes sense as ginseng and Tasmanian pepperberry are among the ingredients) for an hour or so before fading. It's a beautiful smell and I would love to check out perfumes that smell like the toner. Unfortunately, after using it for more than 4 months, I've noticed that the toner's effectiveness at lightening hyperpigmentation is decreasing. This decrease in effectiveness could be due to my skin growing insensitive/accustomed to the product and/or due to the intensity of my hyperpigmentation (very dark and been there for a while). This is my holy grail toner. I have purchased this several times. I have used other toners and none compare to this one. It has a very fresh witch hazel scent. It does NOT burn, but can tingle around sensitive areas. I have sensitive, combination, cystic acne prone skin and this is so refreshing on my skin. I love this product! I use it almost every day to clean my skin before any application. It works great to remove makeup and any harshness left on my skin! This product is good for the pores and removes most of the excess oil that my face creates. I have awful combination skin, especially around my nose. I also hear that witch hazel can reduce varicose veins so might start applying this product to my legs to see if this is true or not. You never know! I have found that this product is just great for my skin. No harshness or issues.
I love this facial toner for my skin. I like how it’s not oily, not overpowering, doesn’t irritate the skin. Very good product for sensitive skin. I also love after my face is done from wash, when I put it on my cotton ball and lather on my face, it makes my skin feel so fresh, awake and a glow. It really isn't bad as far as witch hazel goes. Personally I don't like the smell of unscented witch hazel so I would add some lavender or rose to it if I were going to buy it. My only real issue with it is the price. I've bought other brands of witch hazel (unscented & scented) for up to $4 less. I'm not sure "organic" makes this worth $4 more. But I may try one of their scented variations before making up my mind!

This is a cruelty-free product My experience: For reference, I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin with some redness & sensitivity. This is a yellow, watery tonic that removes dead skin cells, oil, & dirt as well as unclogs pores. It has a lovely scent that isn’t too strong. I’ve been using this since 1/17 & my sensitive skin hasn’t experienced any irritation. I do take care not to use it when I’m using retinol. My skin is more even & smooth with a healthy glow. This doesn’t dry out my skin luckily nor does it leave a sticky/oily residue. I also notice it helps with oil reduction. you can see lightening of my hyperpigmentation (not including the random breakout). This is my second bottle and I won’t ever be without it! I battle bouts of hormonal acne thanks to PCOS so I always seem to have congested skin no matter what I do (I’ve tried everything including a variety of medical interventions!). I noticed quite a drastic improvement 3-4 weeks after commencing use – my redness was minimised to just my nose (normally spread across my whole T-section and cheeks) and my skin was so much smoother! Three months after starting use I noticed that my breakouts were far less severe and reduced to only 1 or 2 spots. I’m a huge fan of Tatcha products but this one is my absolute favourite. Contrary to directions, I use it twice a day directly after cleansing, and I apply a generous splash in my palms directly to my face (just like applying an essence and patting in gently) rather than losing product on a cotton pad. I like this exfoliating toner a lot, as it definitely works, yet is still gentle enough that it would be an ideal starting point for anyone looking to try out/begin using chemical exfoliants in their skincare routine, or for when you want to help prevent congestion. Despite applying this immediately after cleansing (which is when you should apply a liquid exfoliant and/or toner), I did find that it took a while to sink in fully, which I suspect is due to the various plant oils included in the ingredients – it's not necessarily a bad thing, since the oils can help offset dryness caused by the acids, but conversely, they can also be irritants on some skin (particularly those sensitive to essential oils). It's not a deal breaker, especially since it didn't cause any subsequent absorption issues with any of the products I applied afterwards, but still worth noting. If you like to use multiple products afterwards, definitely give them time to sink in to avoid pilling. I think this will be more useful in warmer weather at reducing oil, and it does help a bit in evening out skin. Definitely depends on your skin type and the climate. I have really really bad blackheads and always have using this has definitely helped some. It didn’t cure them all overnight but I see an improvement and less wrinkles in my skin. I use the luminous kit. It is getting really pricey at this point. I’ve used it for two months now and have got three orders (of various items that run out). Hoping they come out with a cheaper refill packaging soon because I don’t know if I’ll be able to afford this much longer. I had a really bad rash and acne when I turned 23. And it took me until now (2 years later) to find products that worked for my skin. I went to a dermatologist and they had me use some creams and just plain facewash and it helped clear up the rash but didn’t help my skin tone or complexion. Of all of Good Light's products, this one is by far my favorite. I live in a hot and dry climate with oily and sensitive skin, and find myself reaching for this whenever I need extra hydration. It works super well in my skin repairing routine. It reminds me of those milky toners like the Laneige Cream Skin or the Tonymoly Mochi Toner, but I really prefer this one as it really nourishes my skin when it's beaten down. Like those toners, it has a very mild scent. But it doesn't really linger on the skin. If you're the type that doesn't like fragrance in skincare, you can't actually smell it on your body.. (or maybe I just have a weak sense of smell.) I really am excited to see what this small brand comes out with next.. and I'm excited to see them at ulta now!!L
Im sad writing this review because I wanted to love this. It comes in a very sturdy thick glass bottle. The actually product really looks like milk. The moment I put it on my face I was in love. It’s soooo refreshing. It gives you that ahhhh feeling on the face. After my ahhh moment I noticed the “milk” wasn’t soaking in. It left a sticky residue all over my face. I ignored it because I had high hopes for this stuff. After awhile I couldn’t take it and had to rewash my face. It never moisturized and never soaked in. so i purchased because i needed a new toner and i loved the glass bottle. i used it everyday in my routine. my skin, which was once glowing everyday, stopped glowing. i thought was skin was getting immune to my routine and it was "too much moisture" but no. i assume because this toner says to gently "exfoliate", that's what irritated my skin. it made me question my other products, but once i removed this my skin was back to glowing and feeling smooth THE NEXT DAY. i use the vitamin E aqua boost essence lotion etc from the body shop which i'm pretty sure has fragrance and it doesn't bother my skin. it makes it super dewy + glow btw. i have more dry to combination skin, so if you have dry skin, would not recommend for daily use. i'm going to try using it minimally in my routine and see if that's better. you're not supposed to chemically exfoliate everyday, so i found it quite rough. it also would burn my skin.emmy

My favorite toner by Burt's Bees was discontinued so was on the hunt for another. After getting the Peach Sake Emulsion I decided to give the toner a try and am so glad I did! Love the light peach scent and I definitely feel that it cleans my face very well – even if I use it directly after cleansing, a lot more dirt comes off! It is a little drying so I only use it once a way but that's not a huge deal to me. Bottle is gorgeous as well and very luxurious. Already on my second bottle and will be collecting them for sure. I am a huge fan of Korean toners and I am a huge fan of the brand Skinfood, particularly their wash off masks. I wanted to love this product because of its adorable packaging, awesome scent, and equally awesome price point, but my skin dislikes this toner, no matter how I try to convince it otherwise. Everything about applying it is pleasant, until right after I am done and my skin feels tight and burns slightly. At first it feels very refreshing, but that tight and dry sensation comes and , even after moisturizer, remains. Like the old school American astringents I used to use, except after a day or two, I began to breakout around my T zone. Not horrifically, but enough to stop using the product. My skin doesn’t tolerate this toner, but I still think it’s worth a shot because of the other pros. Its harsh for myself, but if your skin likes it, then it is an affordable, cute, and classic toner. I have combination acne prone, somewhat sensitive skin and I am going to try the Tea Tree toner I recently purchased to try and get my skin to bounce back. Initially I thought it was nice, had a weird smell though. So I stopped using this one and started using their Niacinamide Brightening Toner (which I LOVE; it pairs nicely with their Discoloration Serum), and once I ran out of that one, I started using this one again. It burns my entire face sometimes between uses, and I've had to re-wash my face because the burning was too bad. (FYI I apply to toner and clean skin, dry). I previously used the Niacinamide toner and loved it because I felt like I could visibly see the results right away. I love Good Molecules so I thought I'd check this one out. I used it for a few nights and I'm honestly not sure what I should think of it. It stung a bit whenever I did use it and I did use it sparingly. I thought it was because I was using it after my Cerave BP wash, but I went a few nights just using water or the Good Molecules cleansing balm and it still stung! It also felt a bit drying even on its own. Not a fan, most likely gonna go back to the previous cleanser!Nia

Good product and works well with other products too. It does take quite a lot to "saturate cotton ball or swab" so instead I put some in the palm of my hand and rub on my face and it works just as well. Although the fragrance is the same as the Hyaluronic Gel Cushion Cleanser, I would prefer if there was less perfume in the products. As more and more people are having odor sensitivities, and more and more places, including the office, are requesting and identify themselves as "scent free", we become used to less scents so our noses become sensitive to fragrances. I adore this new toner and the ingredients! Love that the AHA's are Lactic, Malic, and Mandelic rather than being loaded with Glycolic, for those of us sensitive to glycolic! Works beautifully for my dry/combo skin when used every other day or night… definitely can't use 2x day as instructions allow, or I dry out too badly. My only complaint is the fragrance is quite "perfume" heavy and I don't care for it at all. I've been on the lookout for a watery/light toner to hydrate my skin. My skin is quite sensitive due to previous peels and lasers to combat my acne, so I wanted a light toner as thicker toners will definitely break me out and make my skin more sensitive. This toner was as advertised and was light while being hydrating when using the 7-skin method. I of course did not expect this toner to provide tons of hydration with one layer as it was advertised to be light, however, I would layer this toner for several times and the hydration would be perfect for my skin. If your skin is sensitive, acne-prone and breaks out from thicker products easily like mine, then definitely give this toner a try. I am glad that Cosrx comes out with their products in mini-size. I have already repurchased the full size.
This toner has simple yet effective ingredients, doesn't leave any kind of film/residue/tackiness, and has a very water like consistency. I think it's most appropriate to name it vitamin water because that's exactly what it is. I'm a huge fan of most COSRX products and this is the best of the toners IMO. I use the hand cupping method to apply it to my face and my skin absorbs it easily. I also live in a desert climate so this helps to retain the moisture of any product I layer on top of it.Kiki
I've been using their snail essence for a couple months now and I really like it. I needed a new toner so I went went this one. I've used a lot of toners and this one is it for me! This and their snail essence are a match made in heaven. After washing, I slide my hands across my face and neck to get rid of excess moisture (but face/neck is still wet) add a few drops of this watery toner into my palm, rub my hands together and rub into my neck and face for about a minute and then pump some essence into my palm, rub together and then rub into my face and neck until absorbed. My skin felt INSTANTLY plump, hydrated and super soft. This and the snail essence are it for me. Which is a bold statement, but I stand by it. My skin loved the combo of the 2 productsCN

I’d never tried toner before this one so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t want to get the Thayer’s for whatever reason so I ended up getting this one instead. The bottle is really pretty (which is a plus for me), it has a short ingredient list and works amazingly. I have combination skin, recovering from acne, and I can most definitely say that my face has looked better and I haven’t had as many breakouts as in the past! If you’re no the fence about buying it, do it! It’s so worth it 🙂Alex
Well the title says it all, the old version seemed so much better, and it really helped soothe my skin over winters here in Switzerland. They give plenty of seemingly good reasons for the "upgrade" but I have a hard time believing any of them. The new product is drying and the tequila smell is too strong. Not sure if it comes from the distilled witch hazel or from the phenoxythanol (which isn't ethanol per say but still an ether alcohol). The previous version had the same ingredients (although the phenoxyethanol was labelled as being from rose essence in the previous one) but much more plants extracts and a few added lab synthesised ones. In summary, they have not added anything terrible, they just removed a lot of things I adored in this product (hyaluronic acid being one + many plants extracts). I'm not saying it is bad for your skin, it does not work like the old one and my skin can't take this formula. If you were a fan from the previous version, I would buy a small sample bottle of this one before committing to a bigger bottle. Also, I took out one star because I wrote down the exact same review on their website and I got an email from L'oréal (who now owns everything?) that it didn't fit "their terms". After years of failed acne cleansers and toners I decided to try this. Well it worked wonders on my skin. Less pimples, blackheads and acne scars became less noticeable. When I was close to running out I tried to buy it from 3 different Walmarts in town no luck.
