I’ve read many things about using cotton / tshirt material to dry your hair so, I decided to give this a try. I have pretty long hair and I've been on the search for the best hair wrap since using a towel has a tendency to pull uncomfortably and not hold well. I've tried the expensive microfiber ones by Aquis and Velo Hero, and also ones by Kitsch, Coco and Eve, and DevaCurl, but this is definitely my favorite. It's made of jersey so it feels just like a regular t-shirt, but the elastics on each end hold your hair easily. I've found I can make the hold tighter just by twisting my hair twice. Also, since the elastic is held along the entire bottom of your wrap and not just with one button, it doesn't fall out like the other hair wraps mentioned above. Another benefit is that since it's a simple jersey I don't have to do anything special to maintain it. Other hair wraps won't work if you use fabric softener and so I ended up running a special washing cycle just for those. Lastly, the price can't be beaten! My hair is waist length, coarse, and I have a lot of hair. This actually is long enough to more easily hold all of my hair AND it’s a bit wider, too. I didn’t realize until I was wrapping it up but it’s not as tight on my head as the original sizes were. I will say it doesn’t feel like the name brand. Our girls and myself have very long hair. They are toddlers. Bath towels even ehen thin are too heavy for them. Hand towels are too small. I have used the same Studio Dry hair turban for probably close to the last decade for post-shower hair wrangling. I will say, that one has held up but I felt like it just wasn't pulling moistures away from my hair. I usually air dry my hair in a turban post-shower anywhere from twenty minutes to two hours. After two hours in the Studio Dry towel, my hair is still rather damp. I decided to purchase the Kitsch brand after falling in love with their silk hair ties. The elastic around the edges is tighter than I was used to; my old turban towel had no elastic. The Kitsch turban does all the way around so it's a bit of a learning curve to get it on. I towel dry my hair for a half hour with that, comb it out and the ends are already drying. The towel is pretty soaked. I had read a review previously by someone who said they needed a second towel to rotate. I use the same one but I do hang it on the bathroom door. I sleep with a fan on so there is airflow circulating. By morning, the Kitsch towel is completely dry and I can use it again. I like that the button has four holes as opposed to two. My Studio Dry button had two holes and I did have to resew that a few years back. The Kitsch towel seems more secure and will hopefully last me into the next decade. This is the second hair wrap I purchased from Kitsch. The first is the white with black dots. I love that one too but it’s smaller and I had to move the button so my hair wasn’t pulled. I have thick curly hair and my whole life I have struggled to manage my frizz. I have tried so many different products with minimal success. I bought it due to my curiosity, it was interesting to know if microfiber really is more drying than cotton. I found it's absolutely the same… but, I can still recommend this to the other customers, because it is a really good thing to put in your wet hair while you brush your teeth, doing all the other morning stuff, like washing, using face masks or makeup. I’be been wanting this towel for awhile do my curly hair. I think it helped absorb more water than a regular towel and my hair looked less frizzy. Even my husband mentioned that my hair looked curlier. After styling though my hair had it’s typical frizz. This towel is great if you find terry cloth or regular microfiber too fuzzy or drying. This is truly more of a fine cotton knit like t-shirt fabric, with a very smooth surface. There are seams around the edges, but they are well-sewn, lay flat, and don’t seem to bother my hair. I accidentally got the size for short or shoulder length hair and I have difficulty twisting it up because my head is huge and there is so little fabric. Even for short hair I would get a larger size. This would be perfect except for the elastic tie sewn into one side. It us supposed to help you secure it, but it just gets in the way and caught in my hair if I use the wrong side of the towel.kimberly.m

I looked at this brand of hair towel for a long time. I finally purchased the leopard pattern one. I was using another popular brand but honestly this tops that one! You are getter a much better product with a better price point than the other brand that I was using. My hair is very long and medium density…I believe it would accommodate any hair type. For years I always just wrapped my hair in a big bath towel after I washed my hair. It was so heavy and made things difficult when I would try and do things while my hair was wrapped.
