Best Trimmer For Leg Hair (2026 Update)

This was not exactly what I thought I was ordering for him, but he is getting used to it and now he really likes it. Says the battery is lasting a long time, many times being used and still strong. It is small and light weight, so at first it seemed "dinky" but it does a very nice job of keeping his beard at that "day-old" look that I like for him. Has not tried the other attachments for orifice trimming.amaze_my_siblings

I have a drawer with three of these that don't work. They were each great when first bought and used, but the third or fourth time it was switched on there was nothing. I changed the battery – nothing. I tried reversing the polarity of the battery installation – nothing. I tried a third battery properly installed – nothing. 5/5 Out of the shower Actually quite satisfying watching all the hairs fall off my legs. Quite flawless performance when it comes to out of the shower experience. This CUTS, mows down every single hair you can see. 1/5 In the shower The hair will stick to your body and that will make it harder to actually shave those hairs. Ended up nicking my armpit multiple times with this too. 3/5 For noise This is loud, like you can hear it from a room and maybe 2 rooms away. Everyone in the house will know you're shaving yourself. 4/5 Shaving length It's like 1mm of hair left on the legs so it's not perfect but it's still amazing for an electric shaver. Overall 3/5 I would use this more often but it's both noisy and hard to use in the shower. Other than those 2 gripes, it performs well everywhere else. I was shaving in the shower for 30 minutes and another 10 minutes out of the shower, it still has juice left to use. I recently got the Philips Norelco Bodygroom, a two in one trimmer and shaver. It must be said, up front, that this is a ***body*** hair trimmer and shaver… intended for your back, shoulders, chest, abs, underarm, arms, groin and legs. OOB, you get the two in one body hair trimmer/shaver, a cleaning brush, a proprietary charger, instructions, and a registration pamphlet. I am a hairy guy. Not quite sasquatch level, but not too far off, at least according to my wife. I have coarse hair also. It takes a pretty powerful shaver/trimmer to tame what I have going on. The short version is that the Philips Norelco Bodygroom has what it takes to get the job done, but please read on. You get a four-way contouring/pivoting shaver that first cuts your hair (with pre-cut blades on either side of the foil) and then foil shaves it down. I typically trim my chest, etc. with an adjustable trimmer head to a little over a 1/4 inch. But, for the purpose of this review, I charged the bodygroom (the green LED blinked while charging and turned solid green when done) and tried the foil shaver on the upper portion of my chest, to give the area shape. It did a great job. Close, smooth, exact… and no nicks. Note that you do not need to put a lot of pressure on the Bodygroom as you move it across your body. The way that the housing is ergonomically shaped (with a non-slip housing) is perfectly positioned to give you the right amount of pressure and surface drag. And, this was a dry shave. Yes, there was some irritation as a result of the dry shave, but that’s to be expected… and the irritation went away pretty quickly. For the remainder of my body hair, I used the adjustable trimmer head. The trimmer head offers 5 trim lengths, ranging from 1/8” (3mm) to 7/16” (11mm). It includes a guard that is easy to adjust with one finger, as well as self-sharpening blades. I had my wife take care of my back (my first time doing that, for which she was very happy). In the shower, shower off, I took care of my arm pits, chest, and other areas. There were instances where the hair “clogged” the trimmer guard, but I haven’t had a trimmer guard yet where that didn’t happen. Turn it over, shake it off, keep soldiering through. Easy enough. After cleaning up the shag carpet on the shower floor, so as not to block up my drain, I then showered and, with the water running (and given the Bodygroom is “showerproof”/water-resistant – but don’t submerge it (e.g., in a bathtub or sink), of course), took another go. At no point (dry or wet) was there an instance when there was a pinch or pull due to the trimmer blades. The self-sharpening trimmer blade was key here. My one gripe about the use of the Bodygroom was that there were instances where I could feel “drag” from the trimmer guard across more sensitive areas. It wasn’t unbearable. And, after a little I was able to learn how to maneuver to avoid the drag. But, this isn’t my first rodeo with body hair trimmers. Yet, this was the first guard with which I experienced the issue. After all was said and done, I dried the Bodygroomer, removed the trimmer guard, popped off the blade head, and cleaned the Bodygroom using the included brush. Super easy. According to the specs, the lithium ion battery in the Bodygroomer takes an hour to charge and offers 80 minutes of use. After a full charge, I used it for about 40 minutes total. It didn’t bog down once. I did recharge it before storing it and will likely charge it again before use, as I tend to go a little bit between “grooming” sessions. Other than keeping this thing clean, there’s no other maintenance. No oiling, no blade sharpening… nothing. Also, Philips Norelco offers a 5-year warranty. The manufacturer does make replacement shaving foil heads and shaving foil head cleaning spray, so just how long the foil head will last remains to be seen. A few minor bones to pick. You cannot use this device while you are charging it – but, given you’re likely to use it in the shower, with the shower running… not being able to charge it while using it is likely a good thing. In addition, I wish it came with a case that held the Bodygroom, the charger, and the brush. I’ll likely end up throwing it in an oversized zipper sandwich bag but a travel bag would’ve been a very solid addition. So, worth buying? Absolutely. For the reasons provided above, the Philips Norelco Bodygroom is a solid four star purchase and worth every penny. It’s ergonomic, easy to handle, provides two cutting surfaces (a foil shaver with pre-cutting blades and an easy to clean trimmer with self-sharpening blades and a 5-position adjustable guard), and thanks to those cutting surfaces gives you the versatility needed to shave your back, shoulders, chest, abs, underarm, arms, groin and legs. It holds a great charge and has enough power to make short work (see what I did there) of coarse body hair with zero problems. I wish it came with a travel bag, but c’est la vie. Ive used Andis T-edgers for decades now. My last one literally fell apart while using it. I was plastic and Im a very busy hairstylistprobably dropped it a few times in its life. This one feels better in my hand. Still light but sturdier. A better shape to hold onto. It cost more than Ive paid in the past but Im feeling it will last longer. My husband loves this Christmas gift. It gives a very even, close cut on his beard and mustashe. He absolutely loves the cordless feature and the convenience of being able to do a quick trim-up. I want to love all of the manscaped so bad. What I do love, is the blade and how it does not Knick or cut you. I’m a woman, I use it and my husband uses it and we both like that feature.
That is the only reason why it’s getting 1 star and not 5.

What is REALLY lame about the rest of it is the battery life and speed/ability to cut through course hair. It takes about 5+ hours to charge, and once it is charged you have about 2 mins of usage until the motor slows down and your battery life light is back to red. And yes I did actually time it all. SUPER LAME!!

Thing worked fine for a while, until it sliced my coin purse open. The “skinsafe” cutting head sliced me open like a razor knife. Wrote to customer service about it, their response was to offer a replacement head. Thanks but no thanks.
Then my trimmer became possessed. It would turn itself on and off randomly. It woke me up one night buzzing away after it had jumped off the counter onto the tile floor. I turned it off only to have it turn back on again seconds later. Tried plugging it into the charger, no dice. Still turned itself on. So I took the head off it and left it in the sink bowl so it couldn’t damage anything else.
Customer service offered a free replacement. I accepted and gave my mailing address. They sent me a replacement CUTTING HEAD. FOR THE TRIMMER I CANT EVEN USE ANYMORE.

It stopped working after less than 15 uses. I use it as intended, but also on my head if my fuzz gets to long for a Bic. First of all, I think a handheld Bic is safer, iv cut myself dozens of with this, and second it broke after a dozen of so uses. It is supposed to under warranty, but when I emailed I said if it's not covered under warranty and this is the quality of product I can expect, I wish to cancel all subscriptions. They canceled all subscriptions. Just shows that they don't even stand behind their own product.michael walker

Use guard when trimming mens private area and apply a VERY light touch, it will trim to a short length. If you want it to be bare i would try another method.Happy Perspective

I ordered this a few months ago and have been using it regularly. •Would DEFINITELY recommend over the 100+ manscaped options. •I still havent had to change the Duracell battery I put in it.☆● CLEAN IT OUT AFTER YOU USE IT!!!I was actually hesitant to get this instead of a manscaped because so many reviews said it stopped working after a couple uses. Im pretty much certain its because the idiots dont clean it out after each use. It catches all the tiny hairs it shaves. So you have to take off the black cut guard after you use it and empty it. It literally takes 3 seconds. And it works really well. Yes you may have to go over a couple areas 2 or 3 times but it does the job well and its cheap. 100% recommendTrevor

My Bodygroomer 3100 gave up on me so I got this cheap replacement instead. Philips has unfortunately re-engineered the blades perhaps because it’s cheaper for them to manufacture as these are also very narrow.The narrow blades don’t trim that easily in one go compared to my old Norelco. It doesn’t pick up hair on all strokes even in the line of motion. You’ll find yourself making repeated strokes to cut through the hair and edges. I noticed despite my patient efforts some rough and grainy edges were left over in the end. If you could invest in something more expensive then do that.The saving grace here is that it uses a battery instead so can be replaced quickly with a flip instead of charging it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve lost charge while trimming the land down under.Overall, would recommend if you’re on a budget and don’t mind spending a few extra minutes. It works ok. The try is not very user friendly because the parts are hard to replace in the try and fall over and are often lost. Very hard to keep organized. The switch out attachments are also not very user friendly. Once the attachments are on they do work decent. Overall, not very satisfied with this product.sarah.l

I purchased these clippers less then 2 months ago. I works WONDERFULLY for the first month or so. Now I have to keep it plugged in to use, and even sometimes won’t even work that way. I loved the clippers and accessories, but sorely disappointed that I can’t really rely on it, and will have to start looking at a different product to replace this Remington Model #PG6110. This trimmer just works, doesn't pull hairs, isn't too loud and is super light and easy to use. My only gripe with this trimmer is it's attachments are pretty cheaply made. The adjustable trimmer has a little stopper tab that locks it into place where you need it. After using it about 2 times, I accidentally didn't push the button down far enough and when I slid it up to adjust, it no longer locked and I found that I had broke the tab with very little force. If you are gentle and careful with this trimmer, I'm sure it'll last you a while.Anthony

I've had other Remington electric trimmers and none have been as fragile as this one. The head broke and fell apart when I dropped it. Again, other razors I've bought from this brand have held up just fine. The adjustable guard is also very finnicky and since it doesn't click into place, consistency is very difficult.Jamie

I have had very short hair for probably 20 years now. There's only so many options you have when your hair decides it doesn't want to grow anymore. As far as I'm concerned, I had two options. I could let it bother me and spend all kinds of money and effort trying to get my hair back in one way or another OR I could go for the military buzz and keep it short. I chose the latter and it's worked out well for me. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, I would have my head buzzed every 10 – 14 days because I like to keep it as short as possible. Even when my hair is long (14 – 28 days without being buzzed), it's not very long at all. It's manageable and able to be easily buzzed. I have a friend who works for SportClips and before the world shut down, I would give her my business every two weeks. She would keep my head buzzed and I would contribute to her career but since that option is currently unavailable, I decided ManGroomer might be a great alternative for me. I thought of ManGroomer because I purchased "THE BACKGROOMER™" awhile back and it works just fine. Unlike the Backgroomer, my experience with the ULTIMATE PRO Self-Haircut Kit was not a good one. The clipper did not cut properly. I used several of the guards, I tried cutting without a guard and I even tried plugging in as opposed to cutting on the battery power thinking I would get more power, but the results were the same in each attempt – painful and ineffective. The clippers pulled my hair as opposed to cutting in all of my attempts. Thankfully, I have a proper set of Wahl brand hair clippers in my closet that I was able to use to shave my head without any issues after the ManGroomer Self-Cutting Kit failed me. The packaging was fantastic. The timeliness of delivery was optimal. When I emailed the company for a return and refund request, they literally returned my email and gave me a refund within minutes. It couldn't have been longer than 10 minutes. I was incredibly impressed by the response. Not only did they issue me a refund but the team encouraged me to try a couple of more times with their product. All aspects other than the actual product itself were flawless on ManGroomer's part. For this reason, I will continue to buy products from ManGroomer because customer service goes a long way with me along with the fact that I bought another one of their products that I've had zero issues with. I'm chalking this up as simply something that didn't work for me. It may work for someone else and despite my negative experience with this particular line of ManGroomer's product, I am not discouraged by the brand and I look forward to using more of their products in the future.J.r. Yes, it works and is a better solution for my back hair than anything else I ever tried (other than having someone else shave my back for me). However, even with the mangroomer, shaving your back is still not the easier thing in the world. I recommend this model over the slightly less expensive one because without the extra foil head I would not have been able to get a close enough shave. Despite being the best product on the market, I'm only giving 4 stars because it appeared to be cheaply made. Used it for the first time today and one of the red lock buttons fell off which wasn't a big deal since I was able to pop it back on, but still shouldn't have happened. Its made in CHINA, so this is expected. If Wahl came out with a similar product made in the America, I would gladly buy it instead even if it was more money.Kevin

I have purchased 2 Mangroomers and after the first I was convinced I was a lifetime customer until this last purchase. The blades no longer cut through my back hair and seem to not be made as quality as they used to be. My first model didn't have a problem going through my forest of hair but now even with the power boost all it does is tug and rip hair out. The overall quality just seems to be downgraded after making such a quality product and gaining good reviews and supporters. I'm highly disappointed that such a good product can't even do the one thing it claims to do, man groom. I will no longer be using this companies products based on the change in blade quality and the inability to cut my back hair.Jefferson H.

This trimmer/razor is excellent. It works as advertised. It is the 3rd trimer that I have purchased. About 15 years ago I had a Norelco that worked great without attachments, so after the trimer broke, due to me dropping it, I purchased another brand and it never worked correctly. It had lots of attachments that had to be changed just to trim my beard. I kept it for a few months and replaced it with a Norelco and it was a poor as the one it was replacing. This is the first that I have found that works as well as the original trimer I had without all the silly attachments.TGSC

I bought this trimmer to replace a different brand one from Best Buy that was starting to have problems after 5 years of use. My biggest problem with this trimmer is that it has no power cord going to the the charging base and instead you plug the charger directly into the outlet then plug the trimmer on top of that. This is too much weight for the electrical outlet. Another issue is the box didn't say what the range of cutting lengths this trimmer allows. The previous trimmer cut hair from 1mm to 23mm but this only cuts from 1mm to 1cm which isn't long enough.Michael

Unit does a fine job of trimming the beard, moustache and sideburns! I remove the gauge and shave with it as well. It's not going to replace cream and a razor, but for my needs it gives me as close a shave as I need. I actually really like the non-corded charger, contrary to some reviews I read. I have charged it once since my purchase and gotten a half dozen shaves and trims in without recharging or loss of efficiency. Very pleased with my purchase.Lucky

I've been using this handy trimmer for about 3 weeks now. I really like using it and found that it is really quiet, which is great for trimming near your ears. I have a few aspects to my beard that require a smaller trimmer and this does the trick perfectly. It comes with a nose hair trimmer trimmer along with a few other attachments. I love that this is battery powered and not rechargeable. This means I don't have to wait to have it charged to use. I also love that it handles multiple hair issues with all the different heads. This trimmer seems more solidly-made and feels better in my hand vs. the competing Norelco products. It also is much quieter and smoother operating, and seems to cut more quickly (though I'm comparing a new Panasonic vs. an older/used Norelco, but I could swear that the Norelco never cut as fast as the Panasonic). I also like the pop-up trimmer which is much simpler to deal with vs. Norelco's swappable cutting heads (the plastic tabs on the Norelco's has the habit of easily snapping off). The adjustable cutting length dial works great with solid/definitive clicks between settings (and the solid comb seems less prone to break vs. the hinged and ready-to-break-apart one on my old Norelco). I also like the cutting range of 1-10mm with comb "A" and 11-20mm with comb "B". The longest setting I use is 10mm so it means that I never have to swap combs (those that cut longer than 10mm do may not find this a plus). However, I am deducting a star from the Panasonic for its few negatives. First it uses an Ni-MH battery vs. the newer-tech Li-Ion battery so the Panasonic run times and battery life aren't gonna be as good as they could be. There's little excuse for Panasonic not to have by now upgraded a premium item like this to the latest and greatest battery technology. The pop-up trimmer is a bit too wide to fit into tight spaces (vs. the one on my previous Norelco). And the battery lights (why are there three when one would do the job?) only indicate when the unit is charged – it doesn't provide a low battery indication like on my old Norelco (or the newer one's too). Again for a premium item like this the three LED's should be red, yellow & blue colored (or some other color combo) and also operate like a battery gauge. Finally, and not a real deal killer, is the need to oil the blades. Conclusion – a high-quality product (especially vs. the competing Norelco's) that is hampered a bit by the lack of some higher-tech bells & whistles that it deserves to have at this price point (especially vs. the much cheaper Norelco's).ira_gold

I’ve been using this for almost a year and I’m still happy with it. Most beard trimmers are either expensive or are cheaply made (ie, made out of cheap, hollow plastic). This one is a happy medium, it’s not expensive and it’s pretty solid. I only paid $50 for it. My last one was a Phillips, I believe. It was one that had those expensive, disposable replacement blades. That thing was like $80 (and the blades were ≈ $10/month) and it was a piece of junk. I hated that thing. But, this trimmer is MUCH better. I love the ease of the hight adjustment, it is by far my favorite feature. Also, the battery life is excellent. Admittedly, I do not use this a lot because I’m kind of lazy about trimming my beard, but I’ve only had to charge this half a dozen times. The only thing I don’t like is the pop up trimmer (which I use on my neck). It just doesn’t work as well as others I’ve used.PAlB

I was in th market for a new, smaller trimmer, so I went to my local Wally World and picked this little beauty up for $20. It had all of the atrachments I could need with a few more besides. The fit and finish is excellent, it's light and handy, very maneuverable ans able to get closer than my larger trimmer. The battery lasts 60 minutes and that is more than I will ever need for my usage. The included charger efficiently brings the trimmer up to full power in a timely fashion. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. They're there for a reason; fully and clearly explaining every aspect of the trimmer, it's accesories, their installation and function. I would say this is a lighter duty trimmer set. If you want to cut hair regularly, this is not your product. Get a heavier-duty, corded trimmer that's meant for that kind of work. However, if you want an *Excellent* tool for getting that beard and mustache trimmed or cut, you can't go wrong with this one. Light hair-cutting is not out of the question. A kid's haircut wouldn't be a bad idea, either. The maneauverability, lightness of weight, and, in my opinion, safer design, make it great for kid's haircuts. Overall I rate his product a 10/10. If you treat it with care, it'll perform everytime, on time. Great little trimmer, it makes trimming my beard easier and more fun than attempting to use my otherwise awesome hair trimmer. I decided I wanted a grooming trimmer, so what better product to buy on Prime day than one of these. I'm sure as you know, if you peruse the trimmer shopping section on amazon, the first 10 to 15 results are nice looking trimmers with LED lights and all come with stands that you can easily place on your bathroom countertop. Unfortunately, Phillips did not meet the mark. There's no indication at all to tell you that the product is charging, no green light or 0 through 100 marker, something that you can see as an important feature that should be on a chargeable trimmer. Secondly there is no stand, they give you this cheap pouch to put about 10 tiny items in, some which will get wet and full of hair. If I had known this is the product I'd received, I would have gone with the others in the same price range that at least come with a LED light to tell you if the product is charged, and a nice stand put all of these various tiny attachments into. I had a Wahl version of this product for many years and it still worked great. I lost it during a move and bought this as a cheap replacement. I wish I spent more for another Wahl. This one advertises that it doesn't need oil, but that's because it's almost completely plastic, including the blades. Very noisy by comparison and light weight, so it feels cheap in my hand. It works well enough for the price, but it doesn't feel as gentle as I'm used to. The heads and attachments aren't as nice either. I don't expect it to last long. If you want to save a buck or try out a rechargeable trimmer, this is not bad. But if you're like me and prefer a tool that will stand the test of time, I'd recommend looking into a brand with metal blades and a reputation of quality to back it.Someone who likes quality

The Lithium Powered Series 8-in-1 grooming kit is really nice. It offers multiple attachments, settings, and ways to remove hair on the body, face, and head. This trimmer is super easy to use, charge, and lasts a long time. I really like how compact the unit is. It makes it easier to be precise when shaving. Additionally, I like how well it works. I've owned a lot of cordless trimmers over the last few decades, and this Remington 8-in-1 Grooming Kit is one of the best. I love the fact that the lithium battery gives you up to 80 minutes of runtime on a full charge. And that you can also do a 5-minute quick charge and likely get your essential trimming done. The blades on this trimmer are sharp, with hardly any pulling or pain, even when using the blades direction on your face or neck. That's a big win! The multitude of attachments are also super handy. They allow you to trim all your facial hair, nose and ear hair, and even body hair. It's great having all of those features in one unit! And everything fits nicely in the included travel pouch and is covered by a 2-year warranty. As good as this trimmer is, I do have a couple of minor gripes: First off, the box suggests that you can use the 10-length adjustable comb to give yourself a haircut. I would say that this trimmer is nowhere near powerful enough to do haircuts. That task is better left to clippers that are made specifically to cut the hair on your head. Second, the instructions say that you should lubricate the trimmer's blades regularly, but no oil is included. I think this might be the first trimmer I've ever had that didn't come with a little tube of lubricating oil. But those two complaints don't prevent me from giving this trimmer a solid 5-star rating.deanokat

While I have a full-sized electric clipper for cutting hair, it's kind of a hassle to lug out just for a beard trim, so I wanted a smaller one that easily fits in the medicine cabinet that is cordless and quiet with up to 80 hours run-time before charging the lithium battery. This one fits the bill perfectly! I mainly use it for getting the wild hairs on my beard and mustache, and then once a week I use the detail trimmers for shaping, edging, and getting it all looking perfect again. The different adjustable combs clip on to make it easy to go anything from stubble to longer hair. The changeable heads are great for different kinds of precision, something I could never do with the full-sized clipper, and much more control than the flip-up trimmer built into the rotary shaver. I did get confused trying to fit the head on until I noticed that the padlock symbol should be toward the bottom of the clipper. Then it's a simple quick eighth turn to swap from one to the other. I was surprised at just how quiet it is. I can even use it while the wife is still sleeping. Clean-up is quick and easy, and you can even take off the head and run it under warm water. They say hot will damage it, I'm not sure why? They suggest also brushing it, though one isn't provided, and suggest oiling it but none is provided. This does everything I want! From quick touch-ups, to eyebrows and neck, to ear and nose hairs, and even body hair. The parts list mentioned 'Adaptor (not shown)' but I guess they meant the charger, which I was a bit surprised was a wound-copper style rather than the newer, more efficient electronic style "brick". But no biggie. I wish it had a base to stand it up in the medicine cabinet, but it doesn't take up too much room laying flat. Those are my only minor quibbles which aren't enough to lower my five-star rating. So whether looking for a versatile, easy to use trimmer for everyday use, or giving a gift that's sure to impress in the stylish packaging and time-tested Remington quality name,, you won't be disappointed. This T-Series Ultimate Prescision Multigroomer is superb! I like the style an the reversible T-blade is super cool it gives me precise cuts and trims that I wanted. It's lightweight and ou can really glide under your neck and the adjustable comb is super awesome. I feel comfortable using this and they also include storage pouch. It's very durable and easy to use and clean. Perfect for on the go and traveling as well.AndyS

When it comes to my grooming habit I can be very picky on the machine I use. That's why I feel I can whole heartedly say the Remington T Series Ultimate Precision Multigroomer is worth it. This groomer is not bulky at all which allows you to see what your doing. No more having to look around the groomer when using this one. I have found that each time I use this groomer I get a close and clean cut each time. I feel more confident everytime I use this groomer. No longer does it feel like a huge chore to get the look I want. Another nice thing about this grooming kit is that it is pretty compact. It being compact makes it a lot easier to store and be able to travel with it without having to worry about it taking up too much space.Nickk

With the smooth design it can easily fit in your hand for a secure grip. The blade is incredibly sharp (no hair tugging or pulling). I love all the different attachments. But the main attachment I like it the dial one. Just a turn of the dial and you are on your way to a nice evenly trim that only masters can achieve. The wireless is a great feature since a lot of trimmers don’t have this feature. The little bag it comes with is perfect to store everything for the trimmer.Willybig

It’s very close in style and function to the Remington all in one grooming set, but there is an unfortunate difference. First, it may be more powerful than the Remington, but the blade is almost too sharp, as I nearly cut myself at least three times. Second and more importantly, it is a struggle to remove the beard combs from the initial blade without taking off that blade at the same time. I found that I had to hold the trimmer in place to be able to take the comb off. These attachments are too secure and they shouldn’t be. I bought the Wahl unit to replace my broken down Remington, which had lasted for more than two years, thinking that it might be better. In this case I was wrong. For your safety, go with the Remington.Matt

Had to replace my Other beard trimmer as it started to malfunction. I have a Wahl Hair Clipper set which is great. This trimmer however is the worst I have ever used. The attachments are poorly designed and lead to poor trimming. The blade itself has a hard time trimming a single wild hair from my beard or mustache. The motor bogs down very quickly and I have to oil it several times during a single grooming session after a full nights charge. I wish I would have kept the packaging so I could return it. I now need to buy another trimmer as this is unacceptable and irritating to use.Nicholas

DO NOT BUY. I recently decided to "upgrade" from my Gillette All-Purpose Styler after having it for 2 years. Was very excited to move try out this Trimmer (especially since it came with a charger and was eco-friendly – i.e. I didn't have to keep buying batteries). Having any kind of good expectations for this trimmer was my first mistake… Do yourself a favor and just never buy this product… First of all – it's cheap. It FEELS cheap. I spent $20 for the Gillette trimmer and thought THAT was cheap. Paying $30+ for this product is RIDICULOUS. ***NOTE: I know this product is now on sale and is going for a cheaper price. If it were me, I wouldn't pay $5 for this crap. Don't waste your time. Second – This product LITERALLY falls apart. I would go to trim my beard, shave my face, etc. and the top would just pop right off. When you go to switch heads (i.e. from trimmer to buzzer to any of the other 5 faces this trimmer has, it would loosen the top. So guess what? Next time you shave that sucker is coming right off immediately and you have to hold the top down. Just ridiculous and poor quality. Third – THE BATTERY LIFE SUCKS. Again, was pumped to move from a battery-requiring trimmer to a rechargeable trimmer. Boy was I wrong… I would charge this trimmer for hours, even DAYS… The longest this trimmer has EVER lasted me was 20 minutes max. It would average 5-10 minutes. Not even kidding I got halfway through a shave and it died (again… takes hours to charge) so I was left with half of a beard. Had to use my wife's razor and straight shave the rest of my face. Will never forget that. Coming full circle – just save yourself the pain and regret and buy Gillette. OR – pay for a nicer brand. Whatever you do – don't buy Wahl. At first when I bought this, I was thinking how something so strange looking can trim my noise hairs without cutting me? It turned out to be much easier to use than expected and pretty self-explanitorial. It does cut the majority of my unwanted noise hairs, but I usually finish off the rest with a pair of small noise scissors. Overall, it saves me the time compared to just using the little noise scissors alone. Not a bad investment, especially for the price.saphomphakd-0

I have never been a wax gal. My personal **** is anything people describe as “mild discomfort” so I have never been able to book a wax and have always relied on electric trimmers instead. Shaving with a razor is itchy and too easy to leave a cut. Other trimmers leave a lot more hair than my girl Francesca but it was fine by me. But now that I’ve met Fran… wow I will never go back. It is the closest shave of any trimmer I’ve tried. No razor burn. No painful waxing. And I’m supporting an Ottawa-based company? Seriously, this product is a dream.Avery

I have been using a cheap trimmer from Walmart for years. Even tho it ****** and gave me razor bumps EVERY-TIME and would kind of hurt. I didn’t think the investment of a good one would be worth the price. But DANG I am 30!! It is time I invested in my womanhood! So I googled a few brands and this one came up. I was a little worried about the price but I will 100% admit this product is well worth it I am very happy with the results! It is fast – NO PAIN – and water proof ! I had been using the same, corded, trimmer for years. I could never find something better. The Francesca trimmer exceeded expectations and made the job 100% easier for me. I carry most weight in my stomach so it is hard to maneuver in certain positions sometimes. The length of the Francesca trimmer, and the fact that it is rechargeable has made trimming not feel like such a chore for me. Honestly a lot of you might not understand where I'm coming from but I'm hopeful that my review might help another lady looking at this product as something gimmicky. It is not.
