I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The price of this machine is a little pricey, but after trying I definitely understand why. It actually works! So far so good.Redhdedgrl

This little baby is an absolute game changer! With pets and people through the house all day, there has always been the chore of yet another floor vacuum looming. Oh my goodness .that daily chore has been wiped off the list! Instead I have taken great delight in making a coffee and sitting down to watch this wonderful little maid complete it all for me !!! It does a great job, zooming around sucking up all the mess, yet also gently manoeuvres its way around chair legs and obstacles without causing any chaos. And I have to say, one of the best things is that it cleans under the bed!!!! No more do I have to get down there in awkward positions trying to manoeuvre the vacuum stick underneath to clean all the dust! What a winner!!! Absolutely love it and am still so excited about being able to just set it and leave it to do its thingand I don't even have to put it away as when its finished, as it says clean completed and takes itself back to the charging station to charge and wait until the next time! The Deebot not only vacuums but mops as well. Very easy to set up, not terribly noisy and had no problems moving from the tiles to the wooden floor, the carpet or the rugs. N8 Pro has all the advanced features of a premium robot vacuum but at a fraction of the price. Suction strength is good for both hard floors and carpet. Carpet detection means it automatically increase suction power for carpets and the cleaning result is good. During the first use it maps out the house, this initial step does take a long time to complete. After the initial mapping, I can choose to clean the whole house or smaller designated areas and it does so in a much shorter amount of time.During vacuum, it has sensors to avoid things like slippers, socks or random items lying on the ground. It does this reasonably well but I did have a floor standing fan that the vacuum cleaner didn't recognise as an obstacle to avoid, so it climbs on to the fan base and it ends up getting stuck and gave an error. To elaborate, the fan base was shaped like a ramp so the robot vacuum thinks it can proceed onto the base instead of avoiding it. I've worked out the solution was to either remove the fan from the floor to be cleaned or I could create a virtual wall with the Ecovac cleaning app so the robot vacuum will avoid the fan. Noise level is lower than expected. It is definitely much quieter than my non-robot vacuum cleaners.Overall, it does everything the marketing material says it can do and I think it does map, clean and avoid obstacles rather well. Battery life could be better as a single charge is insufficient to clean the whole house for me. Ecovac T8 and T9 , which are the premium models come with the bigger battery capacity but they have a much higher price point. I was happy to settle for the smaller battery because the robot will return to recharge and then continue to clean from where it left off.anonymous

I purchased the N8 Pro after considering all the other models. I have to say that so far I am very impressed with how well it vacuums my hardwood floors and carpets. It has no trouble changing from hardwood to carpet and does a very decent job, a lot better than I expected. The mapping went well however it did take a while as it had to recharge before it finished off the mapping. The 3D Auto detection does a good job of avoiding obstacles along with my dogs that like to stand in its way. I also purchased the auto empty bin and I am so glad I did. I find that it makes it so fuss free and saves having to empty it each time. I now vacuum my hardwood floors in our living areas and the main bedroom every day and the entire house once a week and the floors look spotless. I tried the mopping function once and it was terrible, luckily the vacuuming makes up for its poor mopping ability. This model doesn't have the oscillating mop attachment so maybe it would work a lot better if it did. All in all it was well worth the purchase.Gail55

Bobsweep is definitely like a child and needs constant watch. He is like a child in there terrible twos, always needing watching to make sure they don’t damage anything. He has no clue where he is ever going, many times just going in circles and cleaning over the same area. He is not smart and takes a long time to return to his charging base. Bob is louder then expected and considering the high price, I would have expected more features and better hardware. For the deal of the day price, bob definitely works but not ever at the full price. After only one hour of use, bob already had surface scratches all over the top of the unit from going under the furniture and getting stuck and not moving away but would just return to the same spot again. The remote for bob is huge and outdated looking for todays times. Bob does a good job at getting the little crumbs and pet hair but I would not recommend for someone who wants a vacuum to clean when they are away. I would never trust this to clean when not home as I fear it would do something stupid or get stuck and rip the carpet or just go back and forth over the same spots.Reviewer2020

I have had bob for over a year now and in that time I have had the battery replaced once. Other than that I love bob. He cleans up pet hair very thoroughly and saves me the hassle of having to do it. HE does some times get stuck but that's either because he's the perfect height to go under counters or the fact I have lips going into or from the kitchen. Haven't used the mop feature but his brushes work well. Sometimes he slams into objects but that's to be expected. He isn't perfect but definitely does a good job cleaning up pet hair. Customer service was great when I had to get the battery replaced. No complaints other than he gets stuck and sometimes can't find his charger.sweatyyetti

I've had Bob about 2 months now and i do not recommend this product. Bob has a programmable remote, but he only works when he feels like it, i have him programmed to run every afternoon Monday- Friday and he has yet to work everyday. You need to be home when he is running because he will get stuck and need redirected. Bob has no pattern, and I swear everytime he sees a pile of cat fur on the ground he turns away from it. Also he cannot get over even the slightest carpet hump. Bob never finds his way back to his charging port and he cannot even sweep my entire living room on one charge (about 45 minutes). Bob is also loud like a regular vaccuum, so he cannot run in the middle of the night for he would wake you up. Overall I do not recommend this product.sugarsnap39

Roomba hands down is a better machine. Roomba handles changes in floor levels better. The wheels are larger and the program will figure out how to get un-stuck sooner. But for the price difference Pure Clean is very acceptable. Both machines can get stuck but overall Roomba performs better. The dust collection storage bin is small, it has to be dumped after every run where Roomba every third run. We have a dog and its summer and he is shedding more than usual which accounts for the frequent dumping. I do like the dual rotating brushes on the Pure Clean, the run time is excellent, the dust bin cleans easily, easier than Roomba and it seems to find home more consistently to recharge. I am satisfied with the purchase. If we didnt already have a Roomba we wound have no negative comments.notimeyet

This is my 2nd machine. I love the ease of using it, as it doesn't hurt my back like mopping with a large mop however it has its drawbacks. I have multiple large dogs and a family that is in the landscaping business so we always have dirt and mud being tracked in. My kitchen floor is vinyl tile and white so everything is easily noticed. The first one I bought lasted about 8 months and then a piece broke off where the water is sucked into so I had to quit using. I bought the 2nd one and made sure to take extra care but I'm experiencing what many on here have stated. It takes me 3 tanks do to my kitchen which is about 300 sq ft. Because I have to go over each area multiple times. Ii don't mind doing this but it's a lit of starts and stops to get the floor cleaned. However once it's done it looks great. I wish there was a way that you could make the brushes scrub harder for the tough spots, and maybe add a heater to keep the water hot so the floor would be cleaned faster. Also because of its size you can't get into the hard to reach places and you would still have to mop those areas. I will continue to use my machine until it breaks down but hopefully their will be improvement soon. Lastly as everyone has stated the machine does leave water trails especially when standing still, I have just learned to clean those up as I go and when I'm done I have to papertowel the last spot to soak up the water.Colleen

I was expecting great things from this particular PowerDash product. But after reading the reviews, it was true, the vacuum didn't pick up the water left on the floor as I was expecting. I called customer service and she said to add some water in the collecting tank but it still didn't pick up much water. I miss the Floormate (sold out). I will wait for that. I like Hoover products. I realize people can be very harsh and critical and say don't buy this but you gain even better ideas from their comments. I don't expect a miracle from any machine. I can't expect a product to miraculously clean the grout of the tile. It's really a blessing that companies such as yours can give us an easier way of living. I had a floormate for 15 years that needed to be replaced. I purchased the PoweDash Hard Floor cleaner in May 2022 The new machine was flimsy and inferior design from the old machine from the onset. Less than six months later, it no longer works. The machine stopped dispersing the liquid onto the floor. My husband, a mechanical engineer, evaluated the machine with no success. I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond and I was instructed to call the manufacturer. That was done and three days later there is still no callback from the message left. Save your money and the headache. i was very skeptic when ordering this vacuum mop, compared to the crosswave. Well the Euerka is equally if not better then then the crosswave. The suction is remarkable, the cleaning is on point, the self clean mode is a bonus, the cord is long enought, the noise is reasonable , the dispense of water and cleaning solution is perfect and the cleaning of the two containers is easy. i really love this purhchase and for he price compared to others is a steal.sharzach-0

I have children and a cat and also hardwood floors throughout the main living area. I run the vacuum daily and the mop twice weekly on a schedule I set via the app. Additional runs of both are made when necessary. A daily schedule significantly cuts down on allergies for my household. The app was easy to download, set up and customize to my personal needs. The vacuum created a map on its first run and the mop did after two runs. I was able to divide out areas and label them so I can have the vacuum or the mop clean certain rooms, if desired. The mop also allows you to create smaller 'Keep Out' and 'Clean" zones, which will allow you to keep out of specific areas or do a heavier cleaning in an area. My vacuum is not showing these options and I would really like to see this feature, as my vacuum tends to get stuck on our boot tray. Upgrading from a manual empty bin to the self empty dust is a major plus for my busy family. We were emptying the bin every 1 to 2 runs, spewing dust all over as we emptied it into the trash and now it goes weeks before it will need a new bag. The mop needs to be refilled every 1 to 2 runs and I replace and clean the pad between each run. Overall, I am extremely pleased with how easy this was to personalize to suit my needs. I can use the app to run additional cleanings whether I am home or away which is very convenient. I can clean specific areas by either map or Alexa (you can also use Google/Siri). My cat likes to spend time with the mop and vacuum so enabling the child lock ensures she won't accidentally turn on one of the devices. As far as cleaning, the robot picks up a LOT of dirt and dust every single day, despite the floors not appearing dirty, which was an eye opener when compared to our previous vacuum. I ran the mop every day the first week and now have it set to twice weekly and it also picks up a lot of residue with each cleaning. You can personalize the mop to use 3 levels of cleaning solution and 3 levels of overlap (less, normal, more). There are a few things worth mentioning. The self empty cycle on the vacuum runs at the end of the cleaning. It is loud. Very loud. I was not prepared for this and it happened the first time during naptime. I have scheduled my cleanings to avoid this happening again. There is also a Do Not Disturb function that you can set in the app for the devices. Also worth mentioning is that the mop takes a long time to clean. I run about 400-450 sf on the mop and it takes 2 to 3 hours on the normal overlap, less solution setting. The mop doesn't take the same path each cleaning and sometimes runs with the hardwood and sometimes against and we have one area that it tends to show the wheel marks when it runs against. The mop also can not go over all thresholds and is limited in height. Ours can not cross into the one bathroom or laundry room due to the hardwood threshold. None of these are deal breakers for my family, but they may be for others. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this set. The combination of the vacuum and mop has my house looking clean and refreshed and has significantly cut down on our allergies. The vacuum handles cat hair, dust and dander much better than anticipated and the mop tackles the dirt and grime that comes with everyday life. I highly recommend this set to anyone with pets, kids and/or allergies, or for others simply looking for a combination of vacuum and mop that provide a deeper clean with the ability to personalize.Elthin12

I've been a Roomba user for about 15 years now and was excited to try this new WiFi connected version. Package allows you to take care of vaccuuming and mopping the floors, however software integration between two robots could have been a little better. For example – the only way to mop after the vacuum is to let Brava (mopping robot) start after Roomba (vacuum) finishes, there is no way to have them go room-by-room right after each other. Both robots do reference their own map and don't share (or don't seem to share) your house map between each other as each robot has to learn the surroundings by itself. Individually robots are doing a pretty good job though! Roomba (the vacuum) – seems to have a few troubles with a real thick carpet I have in the dining room (see photos) even with the majority of chairs removed – it tends to stop at the edge of the carpet and declare a "cliff" emergency asking for help. After manually moving the robot – it does not seem to learn the lesson and goes for the "cliff" again and again. There does not seem to be a way to block off the area of a thick carpet in the app. It does take Roomba about 6 (!!!) hours to vacuum roughly 1000 sq ft of hardwood and carpet are of my first floor so it takes multiple "naps" at the charging station. Cleaning quality is pretty good though and there is almost no mess to deal with – just replace the paper waste bag at the charging station when it gets full. Roomba does seem to bump a lot into walls and furniture though, I would probably opt for a higher model of Roomba equipped with synthetic vision and object recognition (like charging cords or pet waste). Brava (the mopping robot) – machine has an on-board tank for the cleaning liquid (Bona is what is recommended) and a spray nozzle up front. It would spray the cleaner first and then wipe it out with a microfiber cleaning pad that is attached underneath the machine. It only has 2 wheels so 3rd point of contact is the mopping pad itself. While it's doing a great job on the hardwood floor – it is having a horrible time at the transitions between hardwood and tile (Kitchen area) and hardwood and tile just under the fireplace. While flooring surfaces are level – they do have a small transition which throws Brava sensors off. It either can't climb over a transition or is attempting it at 45 degree angle – goes about half way over but suddenly gets "scared" and reverses rapidly. That results in it unable to get back to it's charging station unfortunately and giving up on a job. I really hope it's just a software update fix as I really like the Brava. Overall – it's a great power couple – but I would probably upgrade to a higher model if your home "terrain" is not easy to navigate thru.xKing

## Setup There is a lot of packaging to go through, breakdown, and put into the recycling bin, but at least you know that everything is protected well. Once you have all the pieces out of the box, you’ll find a quick start card to help you set up the charging base and wake up your robot. You’ll then head to the iRobot app to finish setting up your robots and connect them to WiFi. You may need to let it charge for a while (and apply any needed updates), but after 30 minutes or so, your robot should be ready to clean. ## Performance ### Roomba i3+ If you’re upgrading from a previous Roomba (or other robotic vacuum) like I am, you may be surprised to find that the i3+ includes a “mapping” feature. You can either allow the vacuum to learn while it cleans, or you can send it on a specific mapping-only quest where it doesn’t clean but instead just ping-pongs around your house, keeping track of walls and other barriers. You can then see the map inside the app and section off the rooms and name them. You’ll probably see some hilarious shaped rooms in the app as the Roomba doesn’t know furniture from a wall, but you get a general idea of what the Roomba can “see” around your home. After you name the rooms, you can use the app to have Roomba clean only a certain room, which is handy if, for example, there is some dry cereal spilled in the kitchen and you don’t want the Roomba to clean the whole house just to get to the cereal. The Roomba i3+ seems to have some upgraded rollers and suction power as I notice it picking up more dirt than my previous Roomba. One of my favorite features in the self-emptying dust bin! When the Roomba returns to its base it (loudly) transfers the dirt from the robot into a bag inside of the base. So the Roomba can perform multiple cleaning jobs before the dust bin needs emptying. I rarely used Alexa with my previous Roomba because while I was bent over emptying the dust bin, it was just easier to hit the “Clean” button while I’m down there. However, now that this Roomba empties itself, I might use the Alexa integration more often! I rarely run the Roomba while I’m away from home as I like to be within earshot in case it gets tangled on a cord I forgot to pick up. However, I like that the app notifies you with a push notification if there is a problem. I also like that with the app, you can set the floors to automatically be mopped after you vacuum. It’s like the two robots are BFFs! ### Braava jet m6 Before cleaning, you’ll need to attach a cleaning pad to the bottom of the Roomba (either one of the included single-use pads, or the multi-use microfiber pad) and fill the inside tank with a mixture of the cleaning solution and water. This is my first mopping robot and it is quite interesting to watch it work. It will move forward in a straight line about 2 feet or so, and if there are no obstructions, it will back up, spray some liquid, and then drive the cleaning pad over it, going an extra foot or so while the cleaning pad is still wet. The Braava did a surprisingly good job maintaining the straight lines while it cleaned the floor and probably did a more thorough job mopping than I normally do. 😀 It struggled more under the table and chairs, but in all fairness, I’m able to move the chairs completely out of the way to mop under the table so a human definitely has an advantage there. The Braava also does a good job of not overstaurating a certain area and uses the little bit it sprayed on the floor to cover a wide area. You can adjust this in the settings in the app to have the Braava use more or less liquid while cleaning. I set it about in the middle and was pleased with how well it cleaned. I can even walk in the area it cleaned after about 10 minutes without getting my socks overly wet. The Braava has a very low clearance and does not go onto carpeted areas or even the mats under the doors. This also prevents it from spraying cleaning solution down the furnace grate on the floor which I appreciate! I’m also happy I did not have to buy additional virtual barriers that I would have to move between vacuuming and mopping. When it is done, you can throw the multi-use pad into your washing machine or hand wash it so it is ready for the next cleaning mission. ## Summary This combo pack of the Roomba i3+ and Braava jet m6 is a great tag team system for keeping your floors clean! I appreciate the mapping features and the fact that you can set the robots to work in tandem with the Roomba vacuuming first, then automatically handing it off to the Braava to mop. The self-emptying dust bin is also an appreciated upgrade for keeping the Roomba ready to clean at any time.TechnicallyWell

I'm pleased with this all in one steam mop and vacuum. We live in a small home and our family area, hallway, and bathrooms are all hard wood floors. Makes cleaning our hard floors so much easier. We have two indoor cats and they shed a lot after the winter/cold months. The vacuum definitely has a powerful suction to collect all the loose cat hair and other debris. I'm also loving this all in one because I am able to steam mop my floors at the same time the vacuum is on to kill two cleaning tasks at once instead of using a standard broom/dust pan prior to my regular old steam mop. It's made cleaning a lot easier for me.Katie

I bought this hoping to kill two birds at one time while cleaning my floors. Prior to this I had a $75 bissell steam cleaner. The first time I used this I was excited and impressed. The little stains on my kitchen floor came right up and the vacuum suction was awesome. I thought wow! This is great. Then I brought it out to use the second time and came across something stick to the floor. I thought no problem. This will be quick and easy to get up. Boy was I wrong. It took at least 30 tries with this machine to get it up. I even held the steam over the stuck on yuck with no luck. I had to push down on the handle and basically scrub it up. It would've been quicker and easier to use a spray cleaner and rag to get it up. What's the point if I have muscle gunk off the floor by pressing the pad onto the floor hard? My shoulder hurt by the time I was done getting it off. There are other issues too: The steam is not hot at all… my former $75 steam mop left my floors hot to the touch which is how it's supposed to kill germs. This leaves the floors Luke warm. If you have multiple floors in different places in your home to clean like bathrooms etc you will have to unplug this, go to that spot, plug it back in and wait the thirty seconds for it to heat up. This is annoying. The water container is small and runs out quickly. So between the fact that this takes brute strength to get up stuck on gunk and it isn't hot enough to kill germs I'm not impressed.FloridaMom

Bought this ti replace an old 1940 (steam mop). I vacuumed thrn mopped, so this seemed like a perfect combination. Unfortunately the combination mop / vacuum mop ended up being worse than buying separately. First, the steam function is very quiet (good) so its hard to tell if its on or not, as a result holding the mop "on" trigger bacame laborious. I couldnt tell if the steam function was on causing me to squeeze harder and harder, then constantly letting go just to see if its on. The 1940 is on the entire time (simple). Next, very little steam actually came out when compared to the old 1940 impacting the mops capability to pickup dirt. After cleaning my kitchen tile it did a great job of vacuuming dirt, but the mop cloth head was only 20% dirty. Unsure it its faulty or working as designed. Returned and bought another 1940.yeller

do not buy this item. very ineffective, I prefer a regular mop which will save more time and effort. As a standard vacuum, the vacuum part is okay, but the floor washer function is not very good. you have to move this item on the same spot a couple of times, back and forth to clean the dirty spot on the floor, which a standard mop will do in one shot. it is also a bit heavy to do that. Clean the dirty water, it's not a fun thing to do either.YAN C.

So, the ONLY thing I'm impressed with is the suction defiantly has a lot of suction HOWEVER doesn't stand on its own it falls nowhere to put the accessories i e the mop head and crevice tool and it doesn't roll on very short carpet very well at all I'm very disappointed!!!Elizabeth R

The very concept of an appliance that stream cleans floors and vacuums was intriguing. I had to have one. Assembly was simple enough: snap on the floor nozzle and attach the handle with a screw (they even supplied the screwdriver). After filling the water tank with distilled water (highly recommended), I pressed the appropriate steam button, and waited…and waited. Nothing. I removed the water tank and the filter to make sure water was getting through to the steam motor. The water from the tank trickled through the filter, and the filter trickled water through to the steam motor. Every time I pressed the steam release button, nothing would happen, the device would give three short vibrations, but no steam. After 15-20 minutes, it showed signs of life; I got steam. I started with my bathroom floor, so I set the mop to Max Steam. It did a good job, I guess. The floor was wet, but there’s no way of telling that it was killing 99% of germs/bacteria. After going over an area on the floor, it felt cool to the touch. After the bathroom, I went downstairs to mop the laminate flooring. Per the manual, I set the mop to Eco Steam. After mopping the kitchen, dining room and living room, the floors looked nice. I didn’t notice any streaks on the areas I had gone over. Again, there’s no way of being sure about the germ killing. I make a big deal about the germ killing because I have a grandson who crawls all over the place, and I want my floors to be safe for him. I do not like the shape of the floor nozzle has an odd 5 sided shape that doesn’t allow you to get into corners. Also, I wish the head would swivel to allow me to get into tight spaces. I don’t know what’s going on with the Carpet Attachment, which is a misnomer, because it doesn’t attach to anything. Basically, it’s a piece of plastic that you place on the cleaning pad in order to vacuum. Because it doesn’t attach to the Floor Nozzle, whenever you lift the vacuum cleaner, the thing just falls off, that’s not aggravating at all when you’re vacuuming the stairs (yes it is!). I decided to test this product because I had always wanted to see how well steam would clean tile and marble. The fact that it could also be used as a vacuum was a bonus, but nothing I was really focused on. Assembling the product took about 5-10 minutes, and figuring out how to use it took about another 10. Some of the instructions in the manual were a bit confusing, and at times, even contradictory. For example, when addressing the 'Eco Steam' mode, the manual states the vacuum can be used with that mode, but not with 'Max Steam' mode. However, when addressing 'Max Steam' mode, the manual states the exact opposite. I'm assuming that's a cut/paste error. Filling the water reservoir was simple enough, but when I first tried to use the steam, the product vibrated/buzzed, which meant that it wasn't getting water. I had to remove and replace the tank a few times before the water would feed properly. I believe there might have been an air pocket in the supply line and had I just left the machine standing for several minutes, the problem might've resolved itself. I had purposefully left 'spots' on the tile in the kitchen, so I was anxious to see how the product dealt with them; I was pleased. There were a few spots that had to be gone over multiple times, but they all came up without much fuss. I then took the machine into the adjoining hallway, which is a high traffic area, and tried it on the marble. Again, the steam worked very well, however, about half way through, I checked the mophead and realized that it was quite dirty. I wish an additional mophead had been included, but since it wasn't I washed/rinsed the one I had as quickly as I could, and continued. Although the reservoir is small, I used the product for about 15-20 minutes, finishing about 300 sq ft, and there was still a small amount of water left in the tank. I was hoping to use the steam mop on my hardwoods, but none of them are sealed, so I decided against it. I did use the product on a small section of carpet, and it does work with the vacuum and eco steam on. Of course it in no way is going to replace a true vacuum, but it did pick up small debris and the steam left the carpet looking refreshed. It is a bit more cumbersome than I thought it would be; it's kind of difficult to get into corners, and the height keeps it from getting underneath even moderately low shelves/cabinets, but it just takes a bit of getting used to. Overall I'm happy with this product, I just hope it holds up under constant use.Chuck

I have been looking for a Vacuum and Steam mop combo and got Black+Decker – Corded Steam Mop and Vacuum (Model: BDXSMV190G). It came with Steam Mop+Vacuum, Mop Pad, and Pad Tray. It is easy to assemble the Mop pad and attach the handle with the provided screw. I filled the water tank with water and tried the Max steam option. It took a minute to start the steam. I tried on the hardwood floor and tile areas. It did a good job on the hardwood floor, and it was cleaner than ever. However, watermarks were visible on the tile floor. The steam mop function worked perfectly except for the corner areas due to the odd design of the floor nozzle. It could have been better with a square design and swivel option. I tried vacuum mode and it did not pick up all stuff from the floor and another major issue is power cable length. It is less than 10 feet and not able to move around for big rooms. I have connected the power cable to different outlets to cover the big rooms and every time I need to wait for few mins to use the steam mob function. I was spending more to do vacuum and steam mop functions using this product compared to using them with two different products. With the max steam option, I was refilling water for every room and connecting the power cable to different outlets very often due to limited cable length. The carpet attachment is nothing but plastic and I have no idea how it works on carpets. It is a great concept of having Steam mop and Vacuum as a combo. However, it did not fulfill my needs.Selva

Almost 200 less than the Cordless Bissell! great that you don't have to sweep your floor before you love your floor with this Little Gem! And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. It uses a standard barrel-type plug-in adapter, and it feels a bit loose in the port on the device. It works perfectly for the time being, but I just wonder how it'll hold up over time after repeated connect and disconnect cycles.Angela40

I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. This vacuum mop combo does not vacuum or mop well. After each run there is barely anything in the trash bin to empty despite the residual crumbs/pet hair scattered around the floor. I made the switch from an old, loud roomba thinking this would be a nice new upgrade at a more reasonable cost but my 6 year old roomba picks up more every time and was around the same price. I often opt for the loud roomba over the Bissell, even though it is quieter, to ensure I don't have to run the thing 5 times to do the same job. In addition it gets stuck in the weirdest places? It even damaged part of our hardwood from consistently trying to get itself unstuck while we were away. The mopping feature is – fine. I knew that I wasn't signing up for a tank wash with this product so I'm decently satisfied there. The only issue is that when the robot get stuck its mopping the same spot in a puddle if its not helped right away. For being a robot this thing needs a lot of supervision. This robot has 2 rotating pads that scrub your floors in addition to the Bissell formula that work together to remove dust and stains leaving your floors clean. Another benefit to owning this robot is that it also vacuums your floors. I have it clean my carpets in between normal vacuuming and it does a good job. Even though it is not meant to replace a standard vacuum, it does a good job cleaning in-between regular vacuuming, even though it could be better on thick carpets and it does get stuck occassionally. My carpets get dirty daily, when the Spinwave goes over them, they look much better! I love how you can schedule when you want it to clean and turn it off or on in the app. The app is very useful and It is easy to use. The Spinwave is quiet and it cleans in neat rows. The spot mode is a useful especially for the dreaded GLITTER spill. When I was putting up decorations, glitter from one my my decorations got all over my tile floor. I purchased the J7 after I decided to retire my few years old Roborock S4 to the basement and get some newer technology. If the J7 was my first robot vacuum purchase I would probably be happy. But when compared to my previous one this has too many annoying problems. Let me start with what it does better. First, it really is a good-looking vacuum. Much nicer than the homely S4. Next, the amount of pet hair and dirt it collects is at least 30% better than the S4. So isn't that what a vacuum is supposed to do? Vacuum? Why 3 stars? Because it only finishes a cleaning job 50% of the time. Reviewing the last 30 cleaning jobs on the app, only 14 finished. There are way too many issues that require my intervention to get a finished job. It sucks up objects it is supposed to avoid, brushes get stuck with pet hair, doesn't dock properly so not charged for next job, strands itself because it didn't recognize no-go zone, etc. It is rare I need to help along the S4 except to empty the much larger dust bin or clean the washable filter (which the Roomba does not have). I wouldn't say I totally regret this purchase but given the opportunity to do it again I would go with another Roborock. BTW, as I write this review the Roomba has not cleaned in 6 days while I wasn't home. Battery was dead sitting on the charging dock.BretLee

Very convenient to use these smart devices and a dual action mop and sweep is a plus.,The machine works and picks up dirt , however it lacks intelligence. It keeps on rotating in the same area forever. Even when I use the remote it keeps on turning back to where it wants. I basically fight and scream at this machine to stop rotating in the same place. It chooses corners and narrow spots to go under and then gets stuck and turns off. I sometimes forget the dogs water cup on the floor and there she goes to knock it off and spills water. Wires should be kept off the ground or it would devour them in a blink. I like this machine , but I wish it were a little smarter and not skipping the important areas and wanders as it like. It is still a better choice than mopping and sweeping on a daily basis .Sahar

This product has filled a hole in my life I didn't know I had. it works great. there is no app to mess with. There is a pretty good manual. set up is easy and it does everything I want it to. I was sweeping the house three times a day as we have no carpet to hide small dirt particles in. I was very opposed to getting a robotic vacuum for years. since working at home during the Pandemic the idea grew on me like a fungus. I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I probably wouldn't use much. I ordered this little Gem. as far as a vacuum it works great. it's really sucks, which is great when reviewing a vacuum. she moves effortlessly from room to room. she gets every spec of dust but she does take her time doing so. But you know what? It's her time. let her spend it doing what she was made to do as long as she likes. When done she goes back to her little place in the world to rest and recharge. I will say I removed a star due to the mopping feature. Don't get me wrong it works. and she does a pretty good job. but the patterns left behind on my laminate floors makes it look like Jackson Pollock programmed the mopping pattern. maybe she would do better on your floors. we do have to mop with the grain or every stroke shows up. The Bottom line is if you are contemplating getting a companion to sweep your floors this little girl is no joke. Works well with the remote to start and go back to dock. Have not had luck getting it to begin clean cycle on clock program, Probably because we use it in different rooms at different times and carry it to the room. Not everyone has wide open floor plan. It picks up pet hair and pieces of clay litter on hard surface floor. That is a huge assist! We like the Edge option if you want to have it go along the baseboards on hard floor surface especially in the high traffic areas such as the kitchen food prep area. It runs quietly. Advise to cleanse out tray after each use. The wet mop option works as well. May not need that every day unless you have tile you want wet mopped every day. You can find robot vacuums that are priced into $350.00 or more. They run on your phone program. I first want to say that although I shop almost daily on Amazon I don’t write reviews, because I am extremely busy medical students and my time is very limited. That being said I felt the need to write this review about this product because of how impressed I was. The only other experiences that I have with robot vacuums is with a Roomba that I bought my mother a couple years ago, and that one works somewhat OK but cannot compare to how amazing this vacuum is. I have a good deal of wood floors but I also have four bedrooms with carpet any can cover my entire house on one charge. It has 2 suction modes, and on the lowest setting it picks up more then my regular vacuum. The app is easy to use and allows me to set up any barriers that I may need, and it comes in very handy. It starts mapping the house on the first clean and continues to better the map with each cleaning cycle. After about the third cleaning cycle the map it’s extremely accurate and will automatically set up different sections that correlate to each room, it’s as if it knows the layout of the house and which rooms are which. This makes it very convenient if I only want to vacuum the single room are a few rooms while I am not in them. I originally was going to order the lower in model they did not have the mapping feature But I decided to spend more because I thought it may be useful, and I am very glad I did because it makes it so much easier to clean certain areas at a time. I would highly recommend this product to anyone I am extremely impressed with both the price and the features and quality of this vacuum. I truly feel this is one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon because of how convenient it is to use.jhulin0828

So my wife and I no longer have to go around the house with little dustpans. We largely have hard flooring, and this little guy takes care of that like a pro. And if we vacuum once per week in the rooms that have carpet, this robot takes care of those rooms, too. I have found that the rolling brush winds up being overkill, given the limited waste capacity. You want it filled with dirt and dog hair, not carpet fluffies. The shocking thing is that the robot has no problems mapping out the house, and even more shocking is that if it runs into a barrier or gets stuck, it doesn't just try the same thing over and over, it gets creative. The effective mapping combined with the AI means that the robot is no-maintenance, just tap the app and forget it, it gets it done. The mapping, amazingly, identifies rooms, and you can select only certain rooms for cleaning–that's what I mostly use. Areas too small for the robot can be blocked off on the app, on the map the robot creates of your house, so no worries there. You can clean a custom area, too. I thought the robot would need pretty regular help, getting stuck or missing areas, etc. But after a week it knew our house, and now it's just a part of my life getting light vacuuming done from my office on the app.docalex8202

The vacuum itself does work. It does a very good job compared to other robot vacuums on hardwood, short, or tall carpet, and even over transitions. Unfortunately that is where the good ends. The mapping feature is a great idea, and as long as your house is under 1000 square feet, and not overly complex, you have chairs with straight legs only (no bars that run across the floor – the vacuum will become stuck), the mapping feature MAY work for you, some of the time. I have attempted to map my home 20 times now, with the help of Ecovacs support, the vacuum just can not do it. It appears to be a limitation with how much data the vacuum can store, and once it hits that limit, the vacuum travels back to the charger, and deletes any mapping it has so far. The do not disturb feature, as of v9 of the software, does absolutely nothing. The vacuum has left the charger at 2am and 4am so far, and during the late evening as well – when it is not supposed to do so. If the vacuum becomes stuck during mapping, it has deleted the map for me every time. If you attempt to pick up the vacuum to move it, tech support will tell you to turn the switch to the off position, place the vacuum on the charger, then turn the switch to the on position. This also deletes the map 100% of the 18 times I have tried it. The battery takes 3.5 to 4.25 hours to charge. It is a 3000mah battery, which is about the same capacity of a cell phone, and the charger only outputs at 800mA. A tablet USB charger outputs between 2000-3000mA (2-3A). If you review the release history of the ios or android apps in their respective stores, you will see the releases have been often – about every 3-4 weeks. However the release notes are vague, and do not explain which bugs have been fixed, and which remain unresolved. There is also no documentation for roadmapped features. Lastly, I have been unable to find a list of replacement parts. You may be able to buy these over the phone, but there is no easy way to do so it seems. Overall, this product could be one of the best on the market, but the firmware on the vacuum and the app on the phones (There is not a PC or tablet app!) really just ruins the product, and makes it unusable for most people. The vacuum should not have been release, and it is very apparent it was rushed to market on the firmware/software side of things. I've read mention in other reviews on other major retail sites where Ecovacs have replied directly, stating that THE engineer would take a look at an issue. I truly hope there is more than one software engineer working on the product, but that would really explain why the product just doesn't work. It is too much for a team of 1. I would invite Ecovacs to contact me directly to resolve the issues I've had. So far tech support seem to be just as lost as the owners of the product. Email tech support has definitely been better than phone support. Phone support flat out reads from a script, and has no idea how the device actually works.nickname12
