The suction power is good and I like the accessories it comes with. I was really disappointed that this vacuum does not have an LED light! For over $200.00 you would assume it would. That feature alone would not make me want to purchase this. Also I don't like the fact you have to mount the vacuum to the wall to store it. It should have the option to fold in half. This Bissell PowerEdge Cordless Vacuum is amazingly very satisfying to use! It has never fail me every time I use it. It cleans up really good, has a great suction and it also gets the edges well. It's lightweight and super easy to maneuver. We have two dogs that sheds a lot and small kids so we have an endless clutter. This cordless vacuum makes cleaning pet hairs, crumbs and everything else like a breeze! It's way better than our old one. I had put off purchasing a cordless vacuum after using a couple big name / expensive cordless vacuums. But I read the reviews and decided to order this one. I wasn't completely sold until I used it and I was pleasantly surprised by the power, the size of the dust cup, attachments, how quiet it is, movability of the swivel head and the overall great job it did!!! The touchless vacuum is absolutely terrific at picking up whatever dirt or debris you sweep near it. You can choose to put it on automatic mode, where it will pick up anything that comes close to it, or you can put it on manual mode, where you push a button near the floor to pick up what you have swept close to it. It has great suction & picks up everything quickly & efficiently. When you have filled the inside section that holds all the debris, you just easily pull it out, dump it, & put it back. It takes several weeks of cleaning the house to fill up this internal debris holding section of the vacuum. I am very impressed with this vacuum, cleaning has never been so easy!Beth

I purchased the EyeVac Pro because I don't need a full size vacuum for my studio apartment. I have hardwood floors and thought that this product would be ideal for the daily sweeps of random hair, dust, etc. The EyeVac has great suction, however, when you sweep hair, random particles like string, etc does not get deposited into the container, instead it gets stuck in the filter. After a few sessions the suction is gone. Don't mistake this for large amounts of particles, I am very tidy and live alone. So it is just the random particles that are brought into the apt on a daily basis. I am not a person that returns used items, but, in this case, I returned the item after a few months of giving it a good try. QVC was very gracious to accept the return and credit my account.JovialGina

I wasn't sure about this, but returns to my local BBB store are straightforward so I decided to give it a shot. We have dogs (so clean up hair constantly). I had read that some newly constructed home have these built into the kick spaces or walls. I set it up in my laundry room, it works great ! It is ideal if you use swiffers or other similar things, which never get up all of the debris on the floor. I steer the swiffer to the eye-vac and POOF ! I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The Dirt Devil Power Swerve Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is great for any household with or without pets. In a house with 3 dogs, 1 cat, a rabbit and a 9-year old boy there is always something on my floors. I love how easy it is to use this vacuum, I just unplug and go. The battery is strong enough to cover my entire 1600+ square foot house in a quick clean. The suction is very powerful so I have to be careful with throw rugs. A bunch of dummies must have peed off Amazon by giving inaccurate reviews, because you can't give a review of this vac on Amazon any longer. But so impressed with this little vac, I'll post the review here. Assembling it is a piece of cake: Pop on the bottom roller; insert the handle and press down to lock it into place. You have to charge the vac up for a few hours before it's ready. After it was charged completely up, the battery lasted for 15 minutes or so on 1970's thick pile carpet. Before purchasing this little vac, we used a "Eureka The BOSS" for our family room. After 14 or 15 years of heavy use, it finally shot craps. It went on to wherever good vacuums go when they're ready for retirement. Back to the Dirt Devil: I ran "The BOSS" over 70% of the carpet just before it completely died 3 days ago. So disappointed in this. I purchased it yesterday. It took hours to charge fully. I charged it before I turned it on. Then it started shutting itself off while cleaning for a short time. Used it for 2 fifteen minute cleaning stretches. I emptied it twice because the suction was terrible. It’s been charging for hours again. Not even finish cleaning my main floor. Don’t recommend for any carpets. Ok for floors. I have a few small rugs in my porch for shoes, but doesn’t do a good job cleaning them. Light weight and easy to use. Compact, bagless, super light and yet a powerful stick vacuum with tons of features. It came with an extra battery and an extra pre-filter along with a combination and crevice tool. The first thing I noticed on this superlight stick vacuum is the adjustable or telescopic wand and the Kompressor lever. The standalone charging base has an option to charge the second battery. The batteries themselves are compact and each battery is good for 60 min operation. Design: Small form factor with a base station to charge the stick vacuum and the additional battery. The charging station or the base is heavy enough to hold the stick vacuum in place and I didn't have to worry about drilling holes in the walls to keep it secure. It does come with a wall mount option as well. I like the telescopic wand, lets me get under the furniture and everyone in my house including the kids can use it. The best part is the Kompressor lever that really compresses the dirt and keeps the filter free of debris. It will be a while before I have to empty the bin. It also helps clean the bin and not have to worry about getting your fingers in to pull the debris out- good thinking LG! The filters can be removed easily and washed in the sink. The best part is the roller or the brush head that can be easily removed by just twisting one end, and it slides right out. The roller has minimalist design, can twist, and turn easily to go around the corners and is powerful enough to pick up fine debris, and they are so easy to clean! The cyclone head slides right out as well and can be easily cleaned and washed in the sink. I started using this vacuum over other cordless ones that I have, just because of its design and the ease with which it can be cleaned. All the controls on the vacuum can be easily accessed with your thumb. I downloaded the LG ThinQ app to monitor its usage and diagnose issues right on the phone. I like the turbo mode option, gives me the ability to crank up the suction power to deep clean my rugs! I noticed the battery life reduce quite a bit (think about 20 mins) when I had the turbo mode on. The vacuum has three suction levels – normal, power, and turbo. The turbo mode definitely does get the job done when it comes to picking up fine dust. Function: Coming to the suction power, I was impressed on how good it was it in picking up the fine dust from the rugs. The five-stage filtration system speaks for itself when you see the bin filled with fine dust! I live in a dry state and dust accumulation is a major problem and I can see using this vacuum every other day. It worked great on carpet and on hardwood floors and my only complaint was it has a small opening in the front, and it struggles to pick up large debris on the hardwood floors. Overall, I highly recommend this powerful vacuum just for the fact it has good suction power and ease of maintenance. It literally took me less than 10 minutes to clean the filter and the cyclone head, empty the dust bin, and clean the debris off the roller. I'll preface this by saying this review doesn't live in a "vacuum", pun intended. I have had a few of these stick vacuums over the years, and they've mostly been the same brand, probably the most popular brand in the category. That being said, that manufacturer should be paying attention, this LG is a more than worthy competitor, and is better in some ways that may just prove to be the tipping point for many consumers in the market for one and doing a direct comparison. As such, most of my review points are going to be a bit of a direct comparison to the LG's more expensive competitor. pros: – build quality – Better build quality than what I'm used to. The components feel sturdy and well made, certainly well thought out and engineered. It's very obvious that the team at LG saw something on the market and didn't seek to reinvent the wheel, only to make it better. – adjustable height – How novel, a telescoping main tube that you can slide back and forth, depending on your height and comfort level? – "kompressor"/filter clear switch – This is a really cool feature. Use this external switch to push an internal ring down inside the filter, sort of tamping down the contents. Helps to clear the suction area and to create create more capacity. Akin to pushing down the trash when it gets full so you can fit more in, only significantly less gross since here your hands don't get dirty. – floor stand – Also a nice touch, the included floor stand let's you have a bit more freedom over where the vacuum is stored, though it is still attached via power cable. Nice to not have to drill into the wall unless you actually want to though. – button operation (instead of trigger) – Not the biggest of "pros" of course, but operating via button (including multiple levels of suction per press) instead of a trigger. – 2 batteries included, removable – Another win for this model in my opinion is the inclusion of 2 *removable* batteries, and the ability to charge both at the same time – one in the vacuum itself and the other cleverly tucked away in the stand. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 hours on the lowest setting and 15 minutes on the highest, it's very easy to switch to the other battery to keep things moving (and continue to charge the other battery without missing a beat!) – suction – All other technology aside, it actually does a fairly good job of cleaning both carpets and hard floors. It is, however, still a stick vacuum, and while good for day to day cleaning, probably not the deepest clean you'll get. This Sirena has been a lemon since I purchased it and Sirena support and the repair department has been degrading and lets say their repair services minimal.
Thirty days after buying this reconditioned machine which I was reassured was certified and in good condition, broke the base the water goes in, then another base broke, I ordered two more and I bought two more one for backup. The new base broke in the first use. Called Sirena to be told the first time they aren’t under warranty, they sent me a new one being nice they said, which I agree was. Then when the next one broke I just bought my own, and when that one broke within first use I was mad which caused me to call them. They said I was being to rough and to loosen the screws. Then the matching wouldn’t work, I sent it in with the broken hose that had the band over the suction broke. They said it was my broken base that was the issue and I had to buy another one for them to determine if anything else was wrong with it. I had already bought another base so I said send it back. Getting it back the base was clearly broken in shipping but whatever I was so pissed with this company they didn’t fix my hose they glued the broken piece on now making it unusable on the curtains and on top of that the wheel rack is broken also and wasn’t broken when shipped to them.
On top of that they can’t tell me why my bases are breaking it’s my fault No one else has complained of this issue and maybe try running it less.
And of all wonderful things they aren’t under the BBB so I can’t even make a complaint so I lose out the money I spent because I can’t keep affording 50 dollar bases guess it’s time to go to rainbow and I will ensure I plaster it everywhere not to buy reconditioned products from this company ever.Heidi Hancock

I am beyond impressed with the Sirena vacuum. Liked the idea of a Rainbow, but not the price tag. Found this product, read up on it, and purchase from their website. Could not believe how much fresher and cleaner my house seemed with just the first use. I have 2 dogs, one being a great Pyrenees. So I have lots and lots of dog hair. My 2nd use, I did a deep clean floors, baseboards, blinds, couches and drapes. After that cleaning, I could not even believe how clean my house stayed after that all week. I have also used it as a air purifier a couple times. Definitely not a quick vacuum product. It takes some time to use, switching between the power unit for carpets, bare floor attachment, and various others. Then cleaning after use. But we'll worth the time for how fresh and clean my house is now.Lesli Ablett

I am not one to leave reviews but I feel this one is needed. I am completely unsatisfied with this product and I find it strange that the reviews on their website are only four and five stars. It seems as though they filter their reviews and only post the good ones 🤔 unfortunately their customer service sucks even more than the product. You have 30 days to return the product though they give a “satisfaction guarantee” but what they don’t tell you is you will NOT be able to contact them within those 30 days. I called the customer service phone number multiple times and continuously got voicemail, I sent messages through online chat that went unanswered and finally got in touch with them three months after my purchase to explain why I was unhappy for the ONE guy that runs the show to tell me that they have a very strict 30 day policy and “there is nothing he can do”Now about the product itself… if you are a pet home – DO NOT BUY. if you have carpet – DO NOT BUY. The carpet attachment is very difficult to attach and does a very poor job at actually vacuuming the carpet. The machine takes longer to set up than anything I’ve ever dealt with. The chore of vacuuming has become three times longer and this product is substantially more expensive then other vacuums that are more user-friendly and do a much better job of actually cleaning the carpet and floor. No matter how much solution you put in the water your air will still smell like wet dirt. The idea of a water vacuum is great but if you live on a septic system you can’t even dump it down the toilet. Cleaning the machine after use is a whole other issue, it is very difficult to clean and get all the dirt out also you have to leave it unattached so it can air out otherwise it smells terrible. It’s extremely bulky and take a lot of room to store. There are absolutely no instructions with this unit so your guess is how it supposed to be used. Unfortunately there is not one good thing I can say about this unit or it’s service from the company. I have always wanted to own a cordless vacuum and now this Black and Decker Power Series Extreme cordless stick vacuum is making my life so easy. I like the fact that it’s lightweight and easy to handle. I can easily carry it around my house with least effort. Being cordless I no more have to struggle with wires. The dustbin is removable and can easily be emptied. The handle can be detached from the brush of you just need to use the stick to clean the corners or crevices. The anti tangle brush bar is something I am happy about. The vacuum is powerful and sucks dust and dirt very well. Great for both hardwood floors and also carpet. The LED light is the best feature especially when the places are poorly lit the LED light helps in cleaning up the spots and makes my house more clean. The battery holds good for about one hour. And I own several black and decker lawn tools so I mix and match my batteries and that’s really a plus point. Definitely is much less noisy compared to other vacuums. The accessories given with this vacuum are very good and love the fact that I can hang it in my tools closet after using it. This cordless stick vacuum is great for cleaning stairs. It’s easy to twist and turn the agitator to empty the dust and dirt. I can easily charge the batteries too. All the functions are exceptional and I am so impressed with this!Kiomina

I've had a lot of bad luck with cordless vacuums in my life. They generally lack enough power to accomplish anything you'd want them to. The POWERSERIES Extreme Cordless Stick Vacuum, however, has not left me feeling disappointed! I have a mixture of hard floor, low pile carpet, and medium pile carpet throughout my house. The high pile carpet does not benefit much from this cordless vacuum, but for spot cleaning the short pile carpet, this thing can do the trick if I put it on "MAX" speed (although it's a bit loud at that level). But where this thing really shines for me is on hard floor. Even on the lowest speed, it hasn't had any problems picking debris up off my hard flooring. The biggest highlight was when I discovered that it fits beneath my couch!! The couch only has a 3-inch clearance, so it becomes a black hole that gathers all kinds of junk: leaves, dust, dog hair, dropped food, etc… To clean under there, I've always had to lift up the couch and move it out of the way. But this cordless vacuum allows me to clean underneath it completely, without moving the couch at all!! Talk about a win! It also has some handy features, which I'll list off below. My husband and I are tall people, I absolutely love the fact that this canister vacuum has a long nozzle where I don't feel like I'm leaning over too much to vacuum the floor. It's very quiet, you can still have a conversation with it running. The turbo suction is no joke, be careful it'll eat your rug easily, learned there are different settings for the suction amount! Love that the floor head is much larger than the other leading brands. I also have allergies, so this HEPA filtration system is a a bonus to help keep our inside air clean. My only suggestion for future models is to have an option for on/off switch to be on the handle too. You always have to use the foot switch for operation, for older folks it's a long of bending down for operation. Overall so glad we invested the money to get this great vacuum!Faith D

Pros: This is a great vacuum cleaner, I needed a replacement for my previous Vax cleaner – for hoovering out the garage and our cars. The VAX was great but after seven years it was falling apart. I have previously purchased some cheaper cyclone type hoovers which turned out to be useless. So I went for a Miele this time even though it is a bagged type vacuum cleaner, decision based on the quality of the brand and that Curry’s PC World were doing a really cheap deal on this model. It’s very powerful on maximum setting and it does a great cleaning job on the cars. The three wheels on the bottom make moving the vacuum cleaner around the garage easy. The cable return spring is really powerful, far better than any other hoover I’ve had. This cleaner is an all round high quality item. Cons: It’s a fantastic quality hoover and really powerful, however I find that the hose quite often can hit the on off button and that is enough to switch the device off. My Review of Vacuum: First thing to know is that our household has 5 Dogs and 3 Cats. So you can imagine the amount of pet hair we have to deal with all the time. Now, the setup of the vacuum was very easy, and the options to choose from are Brilliant. There are Attachments for every vacuum job in the house. Then, there are 6 – Types of Suction to choose from. The revolving brushes do an incredible job of separating each strand of rug. This allows the vacuum to remove stubborn pet hair easily. One of my Favourite things about the vacuum is the level of the sound it creates, is good and Quiet. The room I had decided to run my test with was the one with the worst amount of hair. No other vacuum I had owned in my 50 years of life was ever able to remove the deeper hair from within that room. This vacuum, not only removed all the pet hair, but I only needed to the one Dust Bag. I had forgotten how nice that rug was, and now it is very clean and elegant once again. All of the pet hair on our couch and chairs were removed with ease. I have never had any actual judgment for any of my prior vacuums before, but this one I take pleasure in using it; I think highly of the options for each different job. There are no jobs that it can not do. I don’t even have to change Attachments to go onto the next room which is Hardwood Flooring, as the options for the rotating brushes are easily turned off. Also, the convenient compact size allowed for easy movement to each room. Over all I can no longer see myself without this vacuum in my life. I had an upright Miele for 10 years and it finally died. Since they do not make uprights any longer, I purchased this with some hesitation. I purchased used, so I expected some wear and dirt, but this thing was filthy. There were no bags (one bag wouldve been nice). I had to use a shop vac to clean the inside of the canister because it looked like a bag exploded in there. Then, I had make a trip to a specialty vacuum store to buy bags. Now, once that was all over, I have to say those Germans know whats up. This is the best vacuum Ive ever owned. I bought this to replace an almost 20 year old Oreck from when Mr. Oreck owned and ran the company. It was a tall bar to clear, but the Meile exceeded expectations. Its heavy and unwieldy, but Im sure Ill get used to that. The suction and carpet fluffing are amazing and made me rethink the need for new carpets in the kids rooms. That can wait a few more years. I was pleasantly surprised how much more power this little thing has. The suction is great not like the old hand held vacs. that plugged it the cigarette lighter in your car. This is a noticeable improvement. It's lightweight easy to handle and maneuver in tight and hard to reach areas. One of the unique things is nozzle extends out if needed to reach under chairs or car seats. Included is a small attachable brush and a little beater brush that helps to pull out pet hair from carpet or rugs. That attachment is of course made of plastic so I don't think it's made for big jobs like stairs or large rugs. I used it for mostly for upholstered furniture and car seats. It's very handy to have especially when a quick clean up is needed. I pull it out and run over the sofa to make sure there isn't any pet hair on it. Also you can even run over your clothes to get rid of hair or lint. The see through dust bin is easy to empty. The paper filter is recommended to be replaced after 6-9 months. Make sure your check the filter before your first use. Mine was ajar probably during shipping. It has a 2 year warranty and a 30 money back guarantee. I was surprised at how well this tiny vacuum works! I was looking for something quick and easy to vacuum my couches and this fit the bill! Not only is it small but it packs power. I have a dog that loves to lay on the back of the couches and this little vacuum makes it so easy for daily clean up of dog hair. It gets all the dog hair up and makes the couches look brand new! I. I have a very large golden retriever, so I was anxious to try this pet hand vacuum through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. This replaces an old B+D Dustbuster that didn't have very good suction. This comes with a small base that we mounted on the wall with 2 screws. It is a cordless unit, however it needs to be plugged in, in order to charge. There are basically 2 ways to use this vacuum – the first is like a traditional hand vacuum and the second is with a detachable, motorized "pet head" with rubber tines that helps get pet hair up. I noticed some hair gets wrapped up in the tines, but it is easy to pull out/remove. It is very powerful and much more efficient than the hand vacuum that it replaces. There are however some key design flaws, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. We discovered after we mounted it on the wall that the power plug connects to the unit itself, not the base. That means every time you use it, you need to unplug it from the power source, then you need to plug it back in for charging after use. When you use it, you can really feel a very strong wind tunnel shooting out of both sides of it. This is annoying when you are vacuuming in tight quarters, like a vehicle. It literally blows right in your face. I don't notice it as much if I'm just vacuuming the floor, or a rug. Another issue I'm finding is that when I empty the chamber after use, the air filter always falls out in the trash. You have to be very careful in order for this not to happen. Overall I am happy with how strong of a suction it has and how much hair it actually picks up, but I think it needs some improvements to be 5 star worthy.phonequestion

Unfortunately, a small plastic part broke inside the clear part of the vacuum. At first, it continued to work, but then overheated so it is dead. My main objective for this was to get a corded version of a hand held compact device for use in my RV because I hate the limitations of battery operated devices, ironic as it is. This solves that problem, but has limited reach for tight spots. This could be remedied by designing a hose attachment with a crevice nozzle long enough to reach under small spaces, especially those in cars. I like the long cord, the power of it, and the rubber nozzle for pet hair. It is a bit noisy so wear ear plugs if you are sensitive. It also kicks up the dust and hair, so be prepared. It might be nice to see a version of this in both corded and battery so that there could be a versatile option for power. The filter is not easy to clean and gets filthy very quickly. I've cleaned mine about 10 times since I've owned it, and often tap out any loose dirt and use tweezers to clear out the heavier lint in the folds. It reminds me of an air filter I used to buy for my Toro lawn mower once a year. Buying new filters for this would be expensive, and it might be nice to see a cleanable filter. I guess that might cut into their bottom line, however, I'm not going to shell out money on expensive filters every week. The main design flaw is in the switch, which turns off when it hits objects as its being used in tight places. Upon cleaning my car, I kept hitting the handle on certain areas and had to keep turning it back on. Put the switch on the back. The shape is gimmicky, and the handle seems a bit in the way and could have been more streamlined. Overall, its a good product, but not perfect. Ok, look. Since I got this vacuum, I vacuum my house much more than I did before. Not to make myself look bad, but it's true. (Like, MUCH more.) This vacuum is lightweight! I don't break a sweat pushing it back and forth like I do with my old vacuum. (Anyone else? Just me?) I can carry it to the second floor, and back down, no problem. This vacuum is versatile! It's like 15 vacuums in one! Ok, exaggeration, but there are so many different ways to configure this thing. It's big! It's small! Now it's got a brush! Now a hose! With the multitude of attachments and configurations, I am able to vacuum under and behind my cast iron radiators with ease. WITH EASE!!! This vacuum can tilt and roll flat to vacuum under beds and couches and other low-to-the-ground things. This vacuum is cordless! Oh boy, I love this part! I can start in the living room, and make my way through every room on the first floor without stopping, just rolling that sucker (heehee) under, and behind, and through until it's time to do the second floor. It's bliss. This vacuum is easy to clean! I've made a habit of emptying the dust collector after each use, which is, quite literally, just pushing a button. (I also charge it after each use, so that my blissful run through the house isn't interrupted by a dead battery.) Once a week or so (…..or when I remember to), I disassemble the dust collector and clean each part right in my kitchen sink. Everything comes apart, and, more importantly, goes back together, pretty easily. I enjoy this vacuum so much, I have actually gushed about it to my friends. A perfect upgrade from my old stick vacuum. Better suction, more power, touch control, beautiful color. Stick attachment is extendable, battery is detachable and can be recharged separately. The top section has a touch panel and shows a bright status of battery. Dustbin can be easily emptied with just one button release. Came nicely packaged with multiple attachments and 2 filters! As my title suggests, this vacuum cleaner is almost perfect. I'm a big fan of Shark products and have one as our main vacuum. In my opinion Shark vacuums are the best in terms of quality and cost. Recently I've been wanting a smaller, more convenient stick-like vacuum that we can use solely in our bedroom and bathroom upstairs. I didn't want to get another Shark because I didn't think we needed another expensive vacuum for smaller jobs. The cheap ones like the Bissell featherweight and Dirt Devil seemed to be a waste of ~$30 (I could be wrong), so I spent several hours researching on what I thought would be the best product for our needs within a reasonable price. Our requirements were stick-like/convenience, corded (not a fan of batteries, although technically it is more convenient), well-priced, and mainly we were looking for something that just had suction power (we didn't necessarily need a roller head). The main purpose of the vacuum is to pick up hair. With all that being said, my research led me to the Shark Rocket line and Bissell Slim line. What I liked most about these product lines is that they have patented technology for tangle free brush heads. Shark calls their technology Zero M, but the specific one we own doesn't have that. Our Shark Duo-Clean works wonders, but hair does get tangled up very easily, so after every vacuum I have to clean it out. As you can imagine, our bathroom has the most hair build-up. Originally we were using a wand like vacuum to clean up the bathroom, but obviously it doesn't work well to clean up the floors. That's why a stick-like vacuum cleaner was important so we could easily store it somewhere within the bathroom for convenience. The Shark Rocket Zero M is pretty expensive, so that was the main issue. The Bissell Slim is better priced, however, the specific model, 2897, seems to be only sold at Walmart and it is currently on rollback for $99! Fortunately there was one left at my local Walmart, so I bought it last night and cleaned our bedroom and bathroom. I'm really glad I went with this over the Shark because I feel like we saved money and the performance exceeded my expectations. A really neat feature that I liked was the ability to turn the roller head on and off. Even after I vacuumed with the roller head turned on, there was barely any hair tangled in the roller head, so Bissell's technology definitely works. The wall hanger and attachments it came with are really nice too. The reason why I said it is almost perfect is because it doesn't stand up on its own, so if it isn't hung up, it has to be laid on the floor if not in use. It's important to note, however, based on my research similar vacuum cleaners, including the Shark Rocket line, do not stand up on their own either. Other than that, I would recommend this product 100%. Emptying the dust bin is also very easy. The vacuum is not the lightest, but it's also not too heavy and it feels really well built unlike the cheap ~$30 vacuum cleaners.reny

I bought this after adopting a dog and realizing that I would have to vacuum every day. I wanted something light and quick to use all the time. Pros – cord is super long and I don’t have to move the plug at all for most of two levels – pretty maneuverable – cleanable filters – you can switch from carpet to hard floors super easily Cons – it’s pretty heavy, my arm is sore by the end of the job – static on the head of the vacuum collects pet hair that won’t ever get picked up unless you end with vacuuming a carpet – it doesn’t stand on its own which isn’t a big deal as long as you have a place to mount the holding bracket – it’s hard to empty the canister because you have to hold the vacuum up, push the button, and pull the canister out all at once and the canister has nothing to grab on to. I have big hands and find it challenging – the attachments don’t click on, they just slide on an get stuck so I have no idea if I ever get them on right – you have to let the filters dry for at least 24 hrs after washing which is frustrating when you use the thing more than once daily Overall, I would not suggest it if you are getting it to deal with pet hair regularly. It doesn’t get all the hair, is cumbersome to store and empty, and I regret buying it even though I got it on sale. Definitely would not be happy if I had paid full price. I'm thinking this might be a get what you pay for type of product. When it works it's great, but along with other reviews I have to say the roller assembly is not good. While it picks up my pets hair really good, the rollers have a problem of the axle not being in the center. This causes it to vibrate slightly and melt the edges and the floor plate. The first time this happened after only 3 months of weekly use, Bissell replaced the roller and floor plate. Second time….3 months later, Bissell told me the original unit was covered under a 2 year warranty but spare parts were not. Since the roller had already been replaced, I was advised that this was now a spare part and I was responsible to replace. They also said this roller was expected to be replaced every 3 months. Long store short, the price of this Vacuum is reasonable, but expect $100 per year in operating cost replacing a $25 roller every 3 months. I will be keeping the handheld portion and it's attachments, but I will find another vacuum for the standup function. I will not continue to replace the roller after every 12 uses…that is just ridiculous.Brandon

Cannot say my dog loves this tool yet but in time I think she will come to be OK with this which is great because I'm stunned at how much fur this got out and instantly vacuumed away. Also she looked really pretty afterwards. It's quite easy to use, my top tip would be don't be tempted to apply the tool without depressing the button for the brush because when you do that it creates a suction seal with the dogs skin and makes them jump a bit then give you an accusing look.smstride627

I would like to question the rated for pet(s) statement on the box. Maybe I should have read the fine print to see their definition of a pet. Apparently a German Shepard is not the pet they meant in pet rated…. It clogged after a couple of passes on a sofa. There is a rubber flapper on the inside canister where the particles are sucked in, however the dog hair gets caught and balled up behind that rubber piece. It took a lot of time unclogging balls of dog hair. I get it, I could vacuum and sweep every day with this critter of mine and still have dog hair! I thought that maybe, just maybe I could get a little reprieve in the endless cycle of a dog hair fiesta. This vacuum is like hiring a house cleaner, you have to pick everything up and clean before the keeper gets there. Also, if you don't have a German Shepard, I am sure this little vacuum would work great.Cami

I never leave reviews on anything but I have to for this one. First of all I am a huge fan of Shark products. I have the hard surface vacuum and the spin and scrub steam mop. I have owned them for several years. When I seen this vacuum in the store I compared to others but ended up buying this one because Shark has always been the best. I even got rid of my Bissell Crosswave to go back to the Shark. With that being said, I absolutely LOVE the suction this vacuum has. I bought it to use on my furniture, small messes around the house, and my car. When it works, its amazing! BUT the battery life SUCKS. I mean full charge and it might last 15 minutes. The instructions say it takes up to 3 charging sessions for the battery to "learn" its battery life. Well, evidently mine is hard headed because it hasnt learned yet. I came on here to see if a replacement battery would help, thinking I just got a bad battery with mine. After seeing all of the reviews about the battery I guess its just a faulty make on Sharks part. I wish they would fix this issue and offer a replacement since so many people have the same problem. I dont want to take it back because it does everything I expected it would. it just takes all day to get it done because of the battery dying.STEPHANIE

This is the worse Shark handheld vacuum I ever owned from Shark. The opening is way to small and clogs up easily and it doesn't hold a charge as long as specified and the dust catcher is is very minimal . I have bought many shark products in the past 10 yrs, I'm talking handhelds, (which only last till warranty runs out) but they do get the job done. Same way with steam cleaners, I've bought 2 and warranty expired, they just quit working. This time I went with a different brand, have to wait and see how it does. Now as to their upright vacuums, I am still using the same one I've had for over 10 yrs and works like a charm. Here lately their products seem to be going down hill. I plan to send an email to the company in regards to this last purchase, because this vacuum is a piece of crap. This is my reveiw, late but still got it off my chest after trying to clean up a mess and it won't pick up, because clogged again. Having a house full of messy boys and a shedding cat can be hard especially when you have hard wood floors that are always sticky and dusty . And carpet that always needs to be vacuumed. I recently received the Bissel Power Clean wet and dry vacuum. Let to me tell its the best cleaner out ! Its lightvweight easy to use . It has a long cord and all the attachments are perfect for the hard to reach places. My floors look brabd new and and carpet looks like it was just installed. It has a powerful suction aswell. My developmentally disabled adult daughter asked Santa for this vacuum for Christmas, she liked that Bissell helps take care of dogs if you get their products. I finally found one in stock at a store 1 hour from our home and made the drive to make the purchase of what appeared to be a vacuum in a factory sealed box to fulfill her Santa wish list. Our daughter opened this gift Christmas morning to find the filter was broken, also the crevice tool and charger were not included in the box. There was not any paper work either like a booklet or warranty info. This leading to a full meltdown of tears. My daughter is devastated as she is sure the dogs will not be taken care of now because I have to take the vacuum back. In hoping this is a one off I will return this Monday afternoon and reorder another one hoping to fulfill her Santa wish list and recapture the joy she had when she first unwrapped the vacuum.Catherine

I LOVE this vacuum. We recently moved into a new house and my bulky 8 year old corded Dyson was difficult to use in the layout of our new place because of furniture and outlet locations, and it found my new Ruggables very challenging. So I decided to take the plunge and give a cordless a try. I had already owned a Bissell dust buster and I loved it, so I went with this Bissell vacuum and I'm so glad I did! It seems to handle my living space just fine on one charge (living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 hallways, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms). My laundry room off the kitchen is too small to actually have it hang on the wall because of our tankless water heater, so I just lean it against the wall. I had a little trouble with this until I put a rug underneath to stop it from rolling forward since it can't lock standing up (which is just about my only real criticism of it). This vacuum handles my Ruggables just fine, one with the thicker pad and one with the thinner pad. In fact I can use it on the lower power setting on the Ruggables. I also love how quiet this vacuum is. I would often use earplugs with my Dyson because it seemed so loud to me. No problems with this one! I do find it a little cumbersome to use as a dust buster, so I usually stick to my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser instead if I need it. The only other thing I don't like about this vacuum is removing the filter to dump the cannister. It's difficult to pull out, so I end up having to pull harder than I want to and it just pops out and often dust goes all around my trash can when that happens. Still, I love this vacuum. I love how quiet it is and I never knew what I was missing with the headlights! They're awesome!April
