Do not buy this vacuum. I had one of these sweepers a long time ago – and I purchased this with high hopes and big expectations. I could not be any more disappointed. Trying to use this piece of crap is so darn frustrating. The air filter and door WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE. It falls out constantly, it absolutely will not stay in place. The vacuum does not pull straight, the hose with the power head will not stand up but falls over. When I am pulling the vacuum as I sweep, even when I am going in a straight line, it runs into the wall or ROLLS OVER ONTO IT'S TOP. Then the lid to the attachments that I couldn't get open previously pop open as it rolls over, and all of the attachments fall out. It is so dang frustrating to use this contraption that I HATE using it. I bought this to make my life easier and also more efficient. I wanted a sweeper that I can use on the floors as well as the walls, curtains, furniture and any nook and cranny in the house. It is so hard to use and so frustrating to have to keep uprighting the vacuum and then put the filter and door back on and then try to get the attachments out and make sure the hose and head are leaned adequately or laid down so they don't fall over and break something – that by that time I am so frustrated I just want to throw it out the door. The reason I gave it one star is because it does have adequate suction – not super great, but adequate. I so wanted to love this sweeper, and I am so disappointed and frustrated with it. I am so sorry that I wasted our hard earned money on it.
This Kenmore vacuum is a piece of Junk. I would give it zero stars but that is not an option. We had a Kenmore vacuum that was awesome for 20 years before it finally died. We thought we could buy the Kenmore BC4026 as a replacement. Wrong. The vacuum has been redesigned with none of the utility of our previous vacuum. The BC4026 is bulky and heavy making it difficult to get in tight to reach places. The end of the wand has a huge locking mechanism for attachments, which makes it impossible to vacuum along baseboards. I used our old Kenmore to vacuum the car interior, but the BC4026's handle is huge which makes it cumbersome to reach tight car interior spaces. Also, the hose swivel that attaches to the vacuum is not the L-shaped fitting shown on the box, so it does not swivel and keep a low profile like it should. This make maneuvering and storage of the vacuum difficult. They have plastic fittings on the BC4026's telescoping wand that make it difficult to extend. The old design was much better. Our old Kenmore vacuum was smaller and more streamlined with the same vacuum power making it more functional and a better design than the BC4026. Bottom line is that the BC4026 was not designed for its intended purpose of being a household vacuum.Michael
Overall this is a decent canister vacuum but the motorized vacuum head is of an ackward design. In order to vacuum more than a foot under furniture, you have to get down on your knees and move the motorized head in arcs left and right; the joint at which it attaches to the control handle prevents it from moving straight ahead without tilting up so that the agitator and suction end no longer makes contact with the carpet. If you move it to the left, the head may detach due to a poorly designed release lever on the left side; designed to make it easy to remove with your foot but making vacuuming under a bed a long and difficult process to get full coverage. I found myself having to reach repeatedly under the bed to retrieve the disconnected head. I was able to modify that release lever slightly by tightening the screw that attaches it but it is still an arduous task to vacuum under a bed; which was the main reason we bought a canister vacuum! You have to sweep in arcs and make sure you get coverage. This would be difficult for someone who has trouble laying down on their knees, pitching themselves forward and moving the wand back and forth in arcs. On the plus side, the "pet" motorized head is great for vacuuming carpeted stairs; no pet required to make good use of it.Jeffrey

I received this vacuum for Christmas, and have been using it daily for about three months now. I really wanted to love this vacuum, but I don't. The main issue I have is with the self-cleaning brushroll: Sure it doesn't tangle, but that would require it to actually pick up fur in the first place. This vacuum adamantly refuses to pick up any fur that isn't just sitting loose on the surface of the rug…which is deeply unhelpful. The roll just wipes fur along, without doing anything to agitate the carpet. I have used the entire battery life of this vacuum on my single living room area rug, just to still need to use my rubber broom. For a vacuum that costs >$300, this is extremely disappointing, and considering the vacuum is called the "pet pro," I truly don't understand why this vacuum simply cannot handle fur in any regard. My second problem with this vacuum is that it leaks dust from every single joint and seam the entire time I'm using it. Who wants to be covered in dust from vacuuming? Not I. Additionally, the wand itself clogs constantly in a way that's very difficult to clean out. In fact, most of this vacuum is difficult to clean, outside of changing the filters. I have two cats and a lab mix who sheds like it's his mission on earth, and frankly, this vacuum just does not cut it.LindseyJoy
I've never made a purchase that I've been more disappointed in. The vacuum worked fine the first couple of times now every time is vacuum my house I have to unclog the machine from the many many many potential clog spots. I never once had this problem with our previous dyson vacuum. I have a golden retriever, so yes, having to maybe unload the vacuum is to be expected however for a product that supposedly specializes in pets, it does a TERRIBLE job. I've had to take apart the base of the bottom when that gets clogged, the shaft of the vacuum comes apart and now hair seems to get clogged making the base of the vacuum essentially worthless. I am so so so bummed and wish I would have returned this while I had the chance. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY PICKS UP DOG HAIR.Megan
I absolutely love that it is cordless. I loved the black friday price… i think it was $159 or $179 something like that . WAY under the price for a dyson. I absolutely love it. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat all whom shed ALOT. I use this vacuum daily, several times a day and have not had any issue with the battery. Keep in mind i mentioned having a little zoo of animals, so the first month i had to take the machine apart to be able to remove clogged hair on the long stick. The instructions dont really tell you how to clean it. There is more than just emptying the basket. To avoid it getting clogged, i now try to blow out all the hair in the tubes Atleast once a week. Only negative i would mention is I wish it was a bit stronger and wish it gave an option on height. For example if there is a leaf on the floor it will not suck it in becase the vacuum in not high off the ground to pick it up. I believe the dyson is a tad stronger but its not worth paying $400, when i can just use this one for under $200. I do not regret purchasing this at all. I have a medium/small house composed entirely of low pile carpet and hard tile. The biggest reason I went for this vacuum was the improved suction on hard surfaces, as I had a cheaper vacuum that would simply scatter dirt around. It definitely cleans both surfaces very thoroughly and makes cleaning the tile so much easier. I was also surprised at how quiet it is, not as loud as my old canister Bissel, even at maximum suction. One complaint I have is that the head can be difficult to push on carpet, I think it would be much easier with some wheels on the head.Max
Replaced 15 yo Miele vacuum. Lighter than previous one and quieter, though not as light and as quiet as I was hoping for. Cord sadly shorter than previous one but vacuum maneuvering way easier (rolls way better). I like the smallest body as well. Excellent sucking and power, but brush is not very large (more work) and rolls funny (not smooth). I have my older large brush that I will use instead but think it’s unfortunate that a vacuum meant to be top notch provides such a small brush. On another positive side, that brush works wonderfully on carpet, which makes it great. So, overall this vacuum provides an excellent cleaning, with an easy maneuvering and not too noisy operation. I think it could get a more modern and convenient design with longer power cord, and a more substantial main brush (I know, we can always buy another model).
All the good reviews are so TRUE. After many low quality vacs like the Dyson, etc, I finally got wise and bought a Miele. My first one I bought over 5 years ago and is still going strong like day 1. I bought a second one a few months ago (I'm a clean freak) and this one is equally fantastic. You just cannot beat Miele quality. I call her "Mia" because she's cute and follows you around like a little puppy. This baby could suck the grout out from between your tiles so you won't EVER worry about having enough suction. Having purchased two Dyson handhelds in the past, I thought I would give Hoover a try this time around (as I do own a pull around canister Hoover that I've had since 2007 and its been awesome) . Unfortunately, I am left disappointed. If you want a vacuum that won't suck up the smallest of crumbs but rather push them around and shoot them out in every direction causing you more work, clogs up with little to no dust particles constantly, and then get zero help or back up from their customer support, then this is the vacuum for you! Because the vacuum couldn't be returned to store once it was used, I contacted the company directly. They proceeded to copy and paste their "de-clogging" instructions, and then ignored the rest of my emails. I am capable of reading a manual and this didn't help me what-so-ever. I cannot believe they actually advertise this as a PET model, because I am using it for much less dirty jobs than pet hair and/or litter, etc. and it's essentially useless. The only good thing I have found about it is the dual batteries and the battery life. However, that isn't very helpful alone when the vacuum doesn't do its job properly. Unfortunately due to the lack of support from Hoover itself, I will not be purchasing any more of their products or recommending to anyone else.kmitschke
I am quite impressed with my new vacuum. Every detail of it seems well thought out which means a lot in this day and age. It really seems to be built to last a long time. All the electronic parts are protected. I really appreciate the brushless "digital" motor. Every little detail is engineered like the battery and charger LED animations syncing together. It came with a silent 4-amp fast charger that charges fully in one hour. This is even including that it waits to charge the battery until it is the optimal temp so it doesn't degrade faster. Each battery and the whole vacuum have a three year limited warranty. The batteries have built-in smart BMS's that communicate with the vacuum and charger to make sure the cells are within their optimal ranges. I noticed the wheels are multi-piece with rubber tread unlike other vacuums I've seen. The whole vacuum is quite simple and intuitive. The phone customer service was some of the best I've ever had. The packaging was recyclable, even the plastic bags. The regular mode seems to clean better than our old corded Shark vacuum and the boost mode is crazy and like suctions it to the carpet. It gets a whopping 9 minutes of run time on boost mode though. The brushroll head is like 3/4 the width of the Shark's so you have to do more lines. The brushroll motor stopped many times to cool down today while I was vacuuming our nasty apartment's carpet. I needed to swap batteries a few times. I charged the other battery while I was using the other. I got the second battery for free as a promotion and it's very needed. Being a cordless stick vacuum is really quite nice but while it can go all the way under couches the weight is located where your hand is which makes it feel a lot heavier than it is. The hours of online research I did was definitely worth it. It would've been a five-star review but Hoover/FedEx's communication on the payment and shipping was very non-existent. Did lots of research on many different brands/types of battery powered handheld vacuums for auto and coffee cart cleaning. I roast my own coffee, addicted to espresso daily and those things can be a bit messy at times. This vacuum makes very short/efficient work of cleaning everything I put it through. I could tell just by unboxing it that the build quality is outstanding just based on the feel of the materials used, let alone actually charging/using it. The system is very well thought out with every possible attachment needed for all sorts of mild/moderate cleaning jobs. Very compact to get into the most confined areas too. The filtration system is as efficient as advertised as it never loses suction and the actual filter stays spotless due to the design. Super easy to empty the filter container with no mess/inconvenience. Have seen a few complaints in reviews regarding the battery capacity and yes it does fade when being pushed on MAX cleaning, but it does a great/quick job nonetheless. People should understand you simply can't have MAX performance/capacity simultaneously… Both battery packs give good runtime for the use I put it through and charge in a reasonable amount of time and don't experience any sort of low self-discharge when sitting on a shelf unused for any realistic period of time. Nice to have the option to buy more packs as these age as we have had to toss other brands when the battery fades due to it NOT being user serviceable and just dies. Last point I will make is the awesome design of the powered brush roller as it works very well at various angles and being able to remove the brush roller for easy cleaning is ingenious. This is our 4th Electrolux hard surface vacuum, two 12 volt and an 18 volt. We absolutely love this vacuum and were very upset when we couldn't find it anywhere on line. A couple of years ago we bought a Dyson 10 because we couldn't find an 18 volt Electrolux. It is not in any way comparable or even as convenient as the Electrolux. We love the swivel head, the easy recharging stand and removable hand vac, so much easier and simpler than the Dyson. When we tried to buy an Electrolux, we were told it was no longer sold in the USA, but then we found it through Amazon. It cost double the amount of our last 18 volt Electrolux, but we were thrilled to get this vacuum. Please let us know if you come back to the USA, we will definitely buy another one!!!JoeMar
I jumped at buying another ergorapido, the minute I saw they were making them again, and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s well balanced and easy to maneuver. Most of all, it’s suction was far more than I expected, and far superior to the previous models I’ve had. And you can do mats by turning it down to low speed, without worrying about sucking up the end of the mat. Emptying the dust bin was a lot simpler than previous models, too. Oh, and Hair! Hair that winds around the roller cleans off easily with the tap of your foot on the snipper tool. The only thing lacking are the instructions— simply illustrations. This is our third Ergorapido. We purchased our first one over ten years ago because I kept tripping on the cord to my corded vacuum. We were so impressed with it that we put away our other vacuums and never use them. It has strong suction, long lasting battery, lighted so you can see under furniture, easy to maneuver, takes up very title space when recharging, has a small hand held version attached to it and it is cordless. We purchased our second one for upstairs. I am a highly experienced electronic repair technician. I just rebuilt a Shark Rotator Professional lift-away vacuum. Of course users fail to replace or clean all three filters causing loss of suction. Cleaning these with warm water and dawn dish soap works best. The unit claims to have thermal monitoring protection on the brush roll base and its design is causing the complaints of failure to work on carpeting in consumer homes. There is no thermal sensor. It uses a D.C. motor to a circuit board where a series low ohm current drop resistor exists. When the motor is slowed , thwe motor draws more current which lowers the resistence in the moter resistor series circuit causing increased voltage drop on the resistor triggering the circuit and activating the motors disconnect relay turning off motor. Although it does much to protect the motor in case of armature freezing with current applied. It makes the consumer unhappy because they cant vacuum carpets as they expect to paying almost 400 dollars for this nice vacuum. The fast fix is simply taking a soldering iron and lifting on side of the feed back silicon diode and reassembling unit. Now you will find the brush roll attachment actually works and does an awesome cleaning job on any carpet. Be sure to use caution and not pick up things that will jam the brush roller and break the belt. If this happens please turn off vacuum unplug and remove obstruction from brush roller. Then plug back in and finish vacuuming. I hope this helps others, mine is now issue less and working awesome.MissTiffany2025
Okay, this vacuum cleaner is actually FUN to run! It’s lightweight and very flexible. The long wand makes getting corners, cracks and crevices a breeze. Only drawback is the base will tip over if you stretch the hose too far, so keep an eye on it as you use the wand. Cleaning stairs is easy with the “Lift Away” feature. The NV501 has strong suction and durability. Do your regular maintenance as other reviews have mentioned, and store it properly. It’s super easy to take apart when needed. I accidentally sucked up a microfiber cloth once, but was able to open the hose at the right spot and pull the cloth right out. We’ve had our NV501 for almost a decade and still no problems. Have purchased this particular model as gifts for friends and family. Highly recommended.DB
I’ve had this model for about 5 years and yes occasionally you’ll have to cut some hair off the powdered brush if you have long hair or girls around or just heavy traffic I guess but that takes literally 20 seconds. Grab a pair of scissors, cut the hair and pull it out. Any vacuum with a brush is going to eventually wrap up hair! The vacuum has one killer motor, it cleans like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’m continuously impressed by the vast amount of dander, dust, and allergens it grabs every single time! I love how the handle comes off to clean small areas such as my couch cushions, behind furniture, etc. (I have this model which cane with ALL the attachments so I may have paid a bit more but it was definitely worth it) the only other difference is the colors. Mine has dark blue where the red is shown. I absolutely love how I can detach the base when going up stairs as shown in the photo. I don’t use the tiny “car part cleaners” which also came with the bulk of attachments but I guess it’s there if I were to ever need it. My fav attachment is the smaller roller brush that literally eats every cat hair off my dining room chairs and wherever else I need it. Anyway I suppose I could go on but you get my drift. By the way of course after awhile the vacuum will accumulate dust around the base and hose (I’ve seen someone post photos here of their dirty vacuum lol) but it’s a vacuum! It’s going to get dirty! My last thought pertains to the newest model I believe, the NV1000 with the “self cleaning brush” or double brush very bulky looking one. Although I haven’t used it, I personally don’t think it is going to sell much in the end. I say that with regards to the current reviews and complaints along with the marketing aspect in mind. What I conclude is just logical: once again as long as there is a revolving brush or in this case 2 rolling brushes, in time there WILL BE a hair issue as long as there are women, girls, and pets around. I have used this product for at least 6 yrs. now. It is perfect for tile or floors without carpeting. It works fine on area or low pile rugs/mats. I love the convenience of emptying the canister and cleaning the filters. I bought an extra filter cup so I would always have a clean dry one as the other is drying. I did have to purchase a new vac as my original was breaking from wear (nothing serious). The cost of replacement part (crevice tool) was $1.99 and $4.99 to ship. I believe the main chamber either was discontinued or was again, cheaper than shipping. This time I ordered the extra parts with my purchase. I have bought one for my daughter and sister in law also. The only thing I would recommend is to keep the vacuum emptied and clean and it will serve you well.
I bought this primarily for hardwoods, two (low-medium pile rugs) and light vacuuming in my car. Terrible on each surface!! it MIGHT pick up a few random hairs of small things off the hardwoods but, thats a maybe, at best. I even spilled dry rice down to test it and, nada! This vacuum is perfect as a toddlers first vacuum to play with because the suction is not strong at all. The attachment tools make it even worse. Would not recommend
I always used a large vac. I am pretty much OCD when it comes to cleaning. I became ill over a year ago and needed something much lighter. This vacuum is wonderful! I don't know about carpet, because I have none. But on wood floors and linoleum it picks up pet hair and dirt much better than using a broom. It is very light weight and has helped me tremendously. This is the perfect little vacuum and is a great value given the price. It picks up pet hair quickly and with ease. I really wish it were cordless, but you can't beat the price on this! I appreciate how the sound isn't excessively loud and I was able to just use it right out of the box. I bought the WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Pet Bagless vaccuum a few weeks before Christmas because my current vaccuum seemed to be losing steam. I hate to say it, but my 6 year old vaccuum of the same size still can way outperform this one. This vaccuum has no suction on bare floors and tends to just throw all the dust and dirt around instead of picking it up. I vaccuumed with this one, then brought out the old one to clean up the mess. The attachment works great – although it just beats the fabric to death and it the vaccuum performs okay on carpet. I have short pile carpet and tile floors, the vacuum works OK on tile but not on any carpet no matter how high you set it, right out of the box I turned it on and it started smoking and smelling like burning rubber, the belt was pinched when it was assembled, called service they sent me a belt it took 7 days. now I have to replace the belt every other week because if I don't the brush will not work. I purchased this vacuum brand new, on August 25, 2021. It's November 12, 2021 and it's been used 5-6 times, as we had the vacuum a couple weeks before we moved in to our new home. First two uses were great, then after that it just stopped picking up pet hair. I've inspected it at the request of Chat Support and nothing is wrong with it, no belt issue, nothing. Brush roll is cleaned after every use, as well as the filter and canister. I'm being asked to take it in for "service or replacement," but why would I want the same vacuum again if it doesn't even pick up pet hair after the first two uses?? Customer Support is a joke. I so love this product! I detest having to sweep – I can never find a dust pan to sweep up the dirt then I was scrambling for an old envelope or "junk mail" to use instead. With this EyeVac I don't need to do that! It's in a corner spot and all I need to do is sweep the dirt there and the vacuum cleans it up for me. Seriously, I couldn't wait to use this thing. I didn't wait for it to charge fully when I got it home, but it still lasted long enough for me to do my entire entryway, alcove, half bath, kitchen, master bath, and walk-in closet. My home isn't enormous, but it's not small either. I didn't time how long it took, but I wasn't rushing…. I have 2 dogs and this thing is going to be a lifesaver! I have a chronic illness, work full-time, and have 2 teenagers, so pulling out the broom and dustpan constantly just wasn't in the cards. I was getting so tired of the tumbleweeds of fur (they pile up after like 3 days) that I contemplated getting rid of my hard floors. But this saved me from that! I can't speak for longevity, because I just bought it tonight… But even if it only lasts a couple years, the $40 was worth it for me. I’ve used these vacs for 8 yrs, they last a good 2 years before battery life begins to diminish. New location of power button makes it easy to turn off by accident and Yes! I agree battery time could last a little longer, Mine is a solid 15 minutes of vacuum time.I use two vacs to do my whole house when I want to take my time under furniture. I gave it 5 stars because where can you find a vacuum that dusts the floor at the same time. I have used my regular vacuum on floor settings and while it does pick up loose dirt/hair it still leaves the dust and dirt on floor and unfortunately will scratch my floor as well. I have beautiful dark hardwood floors and a dog, a swifter without the vac just pushes hair and larger size debris around. This vacuum makes my life so much more easy, even with its flaws I LOVE IT!!! Love this lightweight broom vac! This is the second one i've owned and was difficult to find as Swiffer has discontinued them. It picks up dust, dirt, crumbs and most importantly dog hair! So much easier than sweeping and picking up with a dust pan as it is a vacuum with a bag less container. It also uses a dust cloth as well that traps and picks up hair and small particles the vac may miss. I really loved this vacuum with great features and a decent price point and it worked very well considering I have a dog that sheds a lot. Most of my flooring is hard surface and use(d) this primarily for doing the carpeted stairs, quick clean ups and under furniture. The hose on the power head tore a few months ago and I could not find a replacement for it, unless I purchased the entire power head which is almost as much as I paid for the whole vacuum. So, I used some Goop to glue the holes and it worked for a while but now so many segments are torn that the cannot be glued together anymore; still no replacement hose available. Disappointing.Scott
My husband and I are in our 80s with the usual arthritis and back problems. When we bought this vacuum we thought we had gone to Heaven early. It is so light and flexible and it gets under and around furniture so easily. The suction is terrific and emptying the canister is a snap. So we bought a second one for the other side of the house. The minute it arrived the first one would only run for less than a minute and then shut off. It was fully charged but still refused to work! I feel really let down by a product bearing the Eureka name. Eureka has been the name of choice for over 50 years in our household. Such a shame!Unhappy Senior
I JUST purchased this vacuum and am in love with it!! It worked incredibly!! I couldn't really believe… Like, finally, I just found the BEST for me vacuum. It's lightweight, it swivels, on high mode it kicked butt!! The extensions are so easy to put on/off… THERE IS NO CORD!! YAY!! I could probably say a whole lot more things that I love about this vacuum and the only thing I didn't love was how it doesn't stand up on it's own.. but no biggy, you can lean it somewhere, precariously.. Today I'm sad.. the battery lasted no time at all on the high mode, and having a dog, that was one of my the fav thing. on the medium mode, it's mediocre, seeing as I know what it CAN do.. I'm just recharging now, having to wait to do the last room of the house, the dogs room no doubt, and I'm going to need high mode.. it's just so disappointing I literally just got this thing yesterday, let it charge fully, and then I got to play around with it and all the extensions last night, cleaning my bedroom ceiling, the blinds, etc.. now on DAY 2 it lasted maybe 5 min on high mode.. and it was charged.. it takes a while to charge, don't even know if mine works? The bottom dot just flashes for ever, then after a while I look at it, and no lights are on so i disconnect the charger, put it back in, and nope still a blinking light… I'm so disappointed..Khrista

This vacuum makes it so easy to have you floor and carpet clean! It really works it collects all dust, hairs and every little speck of trash that’s on your floor. Ok, look. Since I got this vacuum, I vacuum my house much more than I did before. Not to make myself look bad, but it's true. (Like, MUCH more.) This vacuum is lightweight! I don't break a sweat pushing it back and forth like I do with my old vacuum. (Anyone else? Just me?) I can carry it to the second floor, and back down, no problem. This vacuum is versatile! It's like 15 vacuums in one! Ok, exaggeration, but there are so many different ways to configure this thing. It's big! It's small! Now it's got a brush! Now a hose! With the multitude of attachments and configurations, I am able to vacuum under and behind my cast iron radiators with ease. WITH EASE!!! This vacuum can tilt and roll flat to vacuum under beds and couches and other low-to-the-ground things. This vacuum is cordless! Oh boy, I love this part! I can start in the living room, and make my way through every room on the first floor without stopping, just rolling that sucker (heehee) under, and behind, and through until it's time to do the second floor. Love love love it. I have tile, wood and carpet floors at home and have been having some difficulty in finding a good vacuum which is good for all surfaces. My two iRobots are good for hard surfaces but do not work well with carpet sheds. This vacuum is very powerful and can suck all the debris and sheds from carpet. Amazingly, it also takes the dust away from hard floors. Very lightweight, it makes vacuum less painful . Its battery is detachable which means that you don’t need to keep the vacuum beside an outlet, just the battery is fine!!! Plus, very easy to clean and the brush doesn’t not adhere dirty stuff. Such a great value for the price.

This vacuum works really well. It’s easy to maneuver and does a great job getting all the dirt. Taking the floor head off and using the pole to get into the edges is a dream compared to using a regular upright vacuum (I always seemed to go too far with the hose and knock over the vacuum). The canister is on the small side, but I only have carpet in 1 room and some area rugs so it’s not an issue for me. Never seemed to work that great on the hardwood floors. It spits everything it picks up out the back or falls back on the floor when I lift the vacuum up. The other thing that is bothersome for me is my hands cramp after so long from the extra weight of the canister/motor at the handle.jessica.s
This vacuum has so many features from carpeting, upholstery to hardwood! When I opened the box I was a little overwhelmed seeing all of the pieces but after looking through them it was explanatory what each piece was for. The filter looks like its just packaging and I thought it did not contain one in the box. But it is two pieces one is made of foam. Its easy to clean out the filter box where everything that's sucked up is contained. Just a simple click over the trash to release it. Its a great vacuum, so light and moves so quickly across the floors with a powerful suction. Comes with a dust mop attachment to use on hard wood floors. When using the dust mop piece it makes my hardwood floors sparkle. On rugs it lifts dirt that I thought I had gotten up with my regular vacuum its amazing. I thought it would be cumbersome to use because the motor is held mostly in your hand but its not a problem at all. It has interchangeable parts that can reach my venting fans in my bathroom very easily. Its very flexible and glides right under beds which are usually tough spots to reach. I purchased my Shark Rocket Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum for Carpet and Hard Floor Cleaning with Swivel Steering last month. I did not plan on buying this brand at first. For me, the PowerClean, Wet and Dry Drum Vacuum is easier to use than a traditional shop vac. While not as big and bulky as many shop vacs, the PowerClean enabled me to clean our basement, which did have spots of water (there is a removable filter for wet pickup). I would buy the PowerClean as it had a big metal drum, it has good attachments, it rolls much better than and is not nearly as loud as our shop vac. The suction was pretty good for the most part, but I think that was because the hose is not as large as they typically are for shop vacs. I would still recommend the PowerClean, Wet and Dry Drum Vacuum to others for the above reasons, but rated it lower for the following reasons: – the cord could be longer (you will most likely need an extension cord) – the hose is a smaller in diameter than a traditional shop vac – there is no place to put the attachments or the hose when not in use
Having a house full of messy boys and a shedding cat can be hard especially when you have hard wood floors that are always sticky and dusty . And carpet that always needs to be vacuumed. I recently received the Bissel Power Clean wet and dry vacuum. Let to me tell its the best cleaner out ! Its lightvweight easy to use . It has a long cord and all the attachments are perfect for the hard to reach places. My floors look brabd new and and carpet looks like it was just installed. It has a powerful suction aswell. To start with I received this for free to review and had not previously heard of or seen the Bissell PowerClean, Wet and Dry Drum Vacuum. I have two dogs and two cats in my household, along with tile, hardwood, and carpeted floors. The vacuum works really well on the hardwoods and tile flooring picking up whatever is in it's path, but it's not as effective on the carpet. The small wheels on the attachment for carpet do not glide easily along the carpet. The downside with it picking up dog hair is that the floor attachment does not spin, and long dog hair just gets caught in the bristles and has to be manually removed. It does have excellent suction, but is a little louder than a normal vacuum, but to be fair, vacuums are loud. I also tried this out in my car, and it did an excellent job with the different attachments getting into the crevices and getting up debris. While I like the idea of the indoor wet/dry shop vac, it's a lot bulkier than my regular vacuum and makes storing difficult. It only has two spots for storing attachments, and this vacuum comes with several more (brush, crevice, wet floor, dry floor, plus the extension). There are few improvements that I think could be made, but overall is a decent product. Personally, due to the bulkiness and none rolling feature on the floor attachment, I will not be replacing my current vacuum with this particular product.

The vacuum unit itself is fine, but this is a budget unit. It’s nice to have a cheap option, to get the job done, but this definitely feels cheap. On one hand, the light weight of the base is nice, easy to move around with it. The metal extendible part of the vacuum clicks nicely when you extend it, but the place where the hose and the metal part connect lack any kind of lock button. It disconnects easily if you’re not careful. The is a weird flaw, because the metal part itself has a very nice locking button for extension. The floor attachment has poor range of motion, but works well on hard floors.Ann
I love the Bissell Zing. For the money it works very well. My only complaints are that it is all plastic. While it makes the vacuum light, its durability is questionable. Also the hose has no way of staying on to the floor tool. You push it on and hope for the best. I can see this being a problem in time and also a frustration. One other thing, the electric cord is very short. For the cost in todays world it is very good but you barley get what you pay for these days! My expectations aren't very high! I wish there was a company that would take pride in the fact that they give the consumer a well made product, at a fair cost, that would last longer then a year. I know, by doing this you wouldn't make huge profits but you would still make healthy profits and loyal customers! It would also help the environment with keeping waste at a minimum! LOVE having a bagged vacuum again! Never liked the mess of a "bagless" so was happy to buy this from Bissell. I could have ordered from others but wanted to give Bissell the sale & am I ever glad I did. Got a great deal on cyber Monday & shipping was free. Arrived as promised within days to Hawaii. This little vac is lightweight and perfect for our bamboo flooring. It follows me around and is easy to maneuver. I can highly recommend for non-carpet and area rugs. Just moved to new state, left old vacuum for daughter. It was a larger Dirt Devil that we needed for all the shag carpet in that home, but our new home is a lot of hardwood and low pile carpet and I didn't feel I needed another large vacuum. Read some reviews and as with any product you will read "best" and "worst" – so you just have to decide if it's a chance worth taking … for me, IT WAS! I absolutely love this little devil 😉 lightweight and so very easy to use. Does a FAR better job than the traditional dust mop I was using before it arrived. I will say that we don't have children or pets, so it has a pretty easy gig. Doesn't have real strong suction, but very sufficient for our needs. Nice long cord. A snap to put together. Seems sturdy as I've dropped it 2x already and still works perfectly fine. Because it is small it won't hold a lot of debris, but again sufficient for our needs. I like that there is no belt that needs to be replaced and there is not rotary brush that needs to be constantly cleaned … I hate that! The only con is that it doesn't stand up by itself (need to lean it against something) but that was just a matter of getting used to leaning it on something and not just letting go of it. I live in senior living, and not that strong; I moved into here with a Dycem. All the floors are laminate except bedroom rug. To use Dycem is difficult, is too heavy, and mars laminate. This little vacuum fills the bill, does not have beater bars, is maneuverable, goes up against baseboards and flattens out underneath things. The suction is excellent, gets dust, hair and whatever, and is very lightweight. Great simple solution, it was easy to put together and get out of box.Helofu

I bought this vacuum is January 2014 after reading many favorable reviews and searching for a low cost vacuum. Things worked well for the first six months and then the vacuum would start to shut down after 2 minutes of vacuuming. I changed out the bag, changed the HEPA filter and checked the vacuum roller brushes for anything that might be caught underneath. I even checked the hose with a flashlight to see if any debris was hung up but didn't see a thing. My biggest disappointment came when trying to get the vacuum repaired since it was still under the one year Panasonic warranty. First of all, the phone number listed on the back of the user manual was incorrect. I had to search online for the right phone number. Once I called the correct number, everything was automated. They wanted to know my zip code so I provided the information. In a very garbled recording, I was given a repair shop 60 miles away from my home. You would think in a city as large as Los Angeles, Panasonic could do better than that. I tried calling the repair shop to get more information and to see if they could provide a location a little closer to my home. It's been 3 days and still no call back. Needless to say, this has been a very frustrating situation. Why can't we talk to a "live person" anymore when we encounter problems? I would think twice about buying another Panasonic product with such a lousy repair program.Wallywooly
This vac is a nice powerhouse, Especially for the price. It is fairly quiet for a vacuum. Has a bright light Airflow/suction is Fantastic, be careful around light floor rugs though! The hose is made of a quality rubber-like plastic which has a nice 8 ft reach , add extensions and crevice wand and you've got an easy 11ft to work with. Comes with a nice little air power brush attachment which sits neatly on the front. Extensions sit neatly on side as pictured. On/Off switch is conveniently on top of bag area. The bottom plate can be removed (without a screw driver) to clean or change the belt which makes it easy for maintenance. Bags are easy to put in/remove (U-6) available at Walmart and many places with drop in "HEPA" filter in the front under bag area. Does have a "push lever" to roll up electric cord, although you may have to assist the cord in the last 5 feet as the roll up isn't that powerful. Has dual edge cleaning but you'll get best suction using the side the hose is on. Hose detaches from vac so you can clean it or unlodge something you sucked up. Rolls very nicely, almost pulls it's self across my low pile berber. Will lay flat with a 11" height to get under most things. This is a nice well built vacuum, it has enough weight to stick to the floor but overall not too heavy. The design is functional and easy to clean. I replaced my last Panasonic after 12 years with this one. Still uses same belt and bags as they always have. I use furniture polish on the plastic (not the oil kind) as it cleans and buffs to a nice shine and helps keep the dirt from sticking to the underneath, just don't get it on the belt or belt area. I have gone through 7 vacuums in 20 years. I researched this purchase for several weeks (knowing that after using a bagless, which didn't last for two years and created a dust cloud everytime I emptied it) I would return to a bagged vacuum. I read many reviews on moderate priced vacuums and the Panasonic Bagged Upright seemed to be a good purchase. My order arrived before the expected delivery date. It was packaged well and only had to attach the handle with a screw (provided) to the body of the vacuum. I have been using the vacuum daily now for a little over a week. It does a wonderful job, suction is good. I like the placement of attachment storage and they are a good length. Now for the problem!! This vacuum has a retractable cord. For a week, I enjoyed this convience. After a week of using the product, the cord no longer retracts. UGH!!!! Other than that, I like the vacuum. Hoping it will last for a few years.Maidservice
