This vacuum is horrible. I thought I would like it after reading the reviews but it is extremely heavy. It doesn't maneuver.. When you try to go underneath a chair because of the weight of the tof the top of the vacuum the bottom part does not remain flat as it will not touch the carpet. The hose is not it's not great either. Very stiff. I wish I was able to return it but it was purchased during covid and target wouldn't let you return home goods.Dee9435

We have had many brands of vacuums before. None were as well designed and solid as the Prolux 9000. It is quiet yet has great suction. We have oriental carpets. After one vacuuming with our Prolux we could visibly see how much cleaner they were. Attachments are wonderful and store securely in the vacuum. First let me start by saying I had never even heard of Prolux before. Doing online research though in search of a new reliable vacuum that is upright and has a bag, my husband actually found your company. I love the vacuum! Unlike other uprights I have owned, it came completely assemble except for the handle, which was a breeze to attach. I will admit I was concerned for the weight of the machine, but I swear this vacuum is self-propelled, or at least it seems like it is. Very easy to push on thick carpet and I love that all I have to do is press a button with my foot to change to hardwood flooring in my kitchen. I love that all the attachments are conveniently stored on-board. Very easy to change from upright to using the attachments. The only thing I'm not sure about is the lever on the back of the nozzle to adjust the suction power. Not really crazy about it but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. And, it's relatively quiet compared to my old 12 amp vacuum. I love this vacuum and would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.Mindylu

Oh my goodness. I've been a housewife for nearly 30 years and I've spent countless hours vacuuming my home. I have never loved a vacuum before….EVER. This new Miele is a magnificent machine. First of all it's beautiful. It is designed so well. Every part clicks into place with such easy precision. Every part is very easily accessible and well made. The controls on the handles are genius. Pure genius. And performance?? WOW. Its quiet. There is NO smell or odor or dust when I vacuum!! I didn't realize all of these years how much my past vacuums put out dirt,dust,smells…YUCK! I'm 52 years old and I can vividly remember the smell that would come from our very expensive Kirby vacuum from my childhood. It always smelled like our dog….ewww! I'm so happy with my Miele that I have yet to put it away! I've used it everyday since it arrived and I love to just look at it! The retractable cord works seamlessly. The wand holders on the unit are fabulous. The power head brings tears to my eyes…..all of the choices for power level and height are wonderful. My home is 95% wood floors and we have many area rugs. It’s a transition for me to not see what I’ve picked up and wait for an indicator light to tell me when to change the bag, but I look forward to it! I previously had a bagless canister with another maker. The cord on this one practically gets me through my house. I was surprised how long it is. I was excited about the light, but it’s not what I expected because the light I needed was for the hard floors and it is only on the carpet attachment. Don’t get me wrong, as I love this vacuum! This is by far the very best vacuum I have ever owned and I suspect I will not have to buy another one again. The Uniq not only has strong suction, it also has suction control which allows me to fine tune the suction based on what I am cleaning. This vacuum is extremely quiet, so much so that I can use it in the early morning and not wake up my children. The bags are large and go a long way. Lots of finger tip controls and height adjustments for the big power head. It really does make my life easier when using this vacuum. I feel spoiled by my Miele UniQ but I am worth it.Elsa

This vacuum glides across high pile carpet! My Dyson was so difficult to use even after adjusting the settings once we bought new carpet which has a higher pile. The Soniclean is light weight, easy to move and does an amazing job. So glad we invested in this one! And I’m thrilled to not have to dump the canister anymore! I love that this is a bagged vacuum! We moved into a new home with luxury plush carpet and an extra thick pad underneath. My Shark vacuum that I love would hardly move on it, regardless of the setting. This vacuum moves easily even on the deep clean mode, and cleans very well. It’s been weeks and still the bag seems pretty empty so I think it will last a while. There are no attachments, so that would be an improvement. But I only use this for our carpeted bedrooms and use the Shark for all other tasks, like wool runner on the stairs and hardwood floors. 100% would buy this again. But they can’t seem to figure out how to ship me the replacement bags .Michelle

First of all, this vacuum arrived on or ahead of schedule and was packaged very well. I was looking for a lighter, smaller canister vac to replace a Kenmore which I was unable to get repaired after 12 years of good service. I was skittish about purchasing something other than a Kenmore, a brand I have used for appliance purchases for many years, but now they are going out of business. I decided this was the time for a smaller vacuum as I frequently use it upstairs and down. I really wanted to see the vac prior to purchase, but due to Covid and many stores not carrying canisters, I had no choice but to buy online. I was able to get the best price, compared to other retailers, by using my BB&B coupons and purchased the vac as well as the supply of bags and filters. I've had the vac for four months and love it! The suction is awesome, it is lightweight and easy to handle and carry up and down stairs – perfect for my situation. I just changed the bag today for the first time and it was very easy. I do wish the cord were just a bit longer and the control was in the handle, instead of on the vac, but these are not major issues for me. My wife and I have had upright vacuums for the last 20 years and were having to replace them every 2-3 years. When it came time to yet again replace an upright because the plastic brush head broke, we looked into the Mieie canister line. Since we had only a couple of rugs , no carpets and mostly hardwood floors, we went with the Classic C1 Turbo Team. It is super quiet and powerful and it's nice to be able to dial down the power, in fact we have never used it on full power. It's also handy to have suction control on the straight wand part, this keeps the Turbo head from sticking on a super low Turkish type rug. Our only regret is not buying a Miele sooner and as an added perk, our dog doesn't bark at the canister like she did the uprights and is tolerating the low noise quite fine.Ron

I purchased this vacuum after reading hundreds of reviews, videos and questions to those I know that own one. I am in LOVE with it! It is one of the quietest vacuums I've ever owned! I have hardwood, area rugs and medium pile carpet in a couple rooms. It made the floors throughout the house pristinely clean! I literally vacuumed the kitchen (vinyl flooring). No more brooms and dust pans for me! My back is very thankful! I didn't get the model that is $100 less because of the carpets and I'm glad I did. I have a hardwood floor attachment and the turbo that I use on my carpets. This is cleaning HEAVEN! It makes things just SO much easier. The extending tube is great to grab any dust on the walls/ceiling and those little cobwebs that magically appear every darned spring! I have a dog who sheds and it got his hair up in the corners and carpet wonderfully! I know this isn't the pet grade one but I plan to upgrade the filter or bag or whatever because it picks up my boy's hair just fine! My sister has one and she uses hers to clean up crumbs and dry spills (salt, seasonings, whatever) from her counters and table! She loves not having the soggy mess to clean with a cloth! I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. Make sure you youse warm-hot water with or without solution since will tackle the dirt better. I’m happy with the product and it really saves me a lot of time and does a great job!!!Denisik91

I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

I have a medium/small house composed entirely of low pile carpet and hard tile. The biggest reason I went for this vacuum was the improved suction on hard surfaces, as I had a cheaper vacuum that would simply scatter dirt around. It definitely cleans both surfaces very thoroughly and makes cleaning the tile so much easier. I was also surprised at how quiet it is, not as loud as my old canister Bissel, even at maximum suction. One complaint I have is that the head can be difficult to push on carpet, I think it would be much easier with some wheels on the head.Max

All the good reviews are so TRUE. After many low quality vacs like the Dyson, etc, I finally got wise and bought a Miele. My first one I bought over 5 years ago and is still going strong like day 1. I bought a second one a few months ago (I'm a clean freak) and this one is equally fantastic. You just cannot beat Miele quality. I call her "Mia" because she's cute and follows you around like a little puppy. This baby could suck the grout out from between your tiles so you won't EVER worry about having enough suction. I liked using my new vacuum and had no problem with it being bagless, but the extension cord would keep rewinding once the motor got warm. I was insulted when sent a email from Prolux that I needed to clean the canister to get optimized performance and the machine was overheating because I wasn't keeping the canister cleaned out. Oh, but I was! I was caring for the vacuum after reading all the instructions for best use and the canister wasn't even full but I'd clean it out before putting it away…then there was no suction (even with a newly cleaned canister). We took the hose off and was finding that the arc of the handle was gathering dirt and not carrying it out. Too much hassle so I got a refund.Bette W.

Pros: went together quite easily (I did read the manual) So far it has great suction, and easy to clean. Picks up pet hair really well, there was a lot of fine dust in the dust/dirt container when I emptied it out, so that is a good thing. Three cats and 2 labs in my house, and they are all inside/outside critters. The power head works well. I had read that people have issues with it tipping over. Didn't happen to me, and moves around easily. All the parts fit right into place, no gaps, nothing hard to pull apart. I really like that it is bagless. Cons; The box was quite broken up when it arrived, guess that is the delivery peoples fault. There were two broken pieces, one being the on board tool caddy for storage of the attachments (I don't believe that could have happened in shipping), one other broken piece of plastic, that came from somewhere, still trying to figure out what it goes to. The tank itself has a big dent in it ( it being plastic guess it's a manufacturing issue). The long floor attachment came with a long flat rubber insert for something (the schematics don't show where it goes). The crevice tool is quite puny. I had just assumed (my fault) that the power head would have a height adjustment. I had been using a Kenmore Canister for 20 years. So in order to vacuum carpet runners (7 feet long) I have to put a chair on the end or have one of the dogs sit on it, so it doesn't get sucked up. I guess that is a good thing that it has such good suction, better more than less. So far so good, I have not found the noise level that loud, my Kenmore was a lot louder. I have not used the furniture/stair attachment so won't comment on it. It does generate quite a bit of static when in use I guess a little shock now and then isn't that big of a deal. I did not rate the Durability or value for the money, because I don't have a crystal ball saying how long this vacuum will last. During the pandemic you can't always get what you want. I wanted to go to a store and buy a vacuum that I could see, feel and maybe even hear before I bought it. I'm a little fussy. Quiet is very important to me. It quickly became apparent that my only choice was buying online. I'm not exactly sure how I ended up on Prolux's site but I'm so glad I did. There was the vacuum I wanted: canister, quiet, lightweight, bagless, reasonably priced, well reviewed and in stock. An unbelievable sight after sitting at my computer for hours. I am very tall (6ft) and I have a ton of back issues. The handle is a good height I do not have to hunch over, I love the lay flat option to get under the kitchen chairs and TV stand. The swivel on the steering is awesome,I really do love love love this vacuum. I've had it for just over a year, holds a charge very well, the circle light indicator is a great reminder when I put it back in. I use this vacuum on average 4-5 x per week. I pull it out for just about anything ever a quick sweep to catch dust bunnies. I've used this on thick high carpet in a fully carpeted 1bd apartment and now I use it in a 2bd room hardwood home w/ area rugs. I also have a small chihuahua with shot hair. Love this cordless Ram. I’ve had my present one for approximately 3-4 years. Wanted to have a backup. Great to keep upstairs so that you don’t have to drag the heavy vacuum up and down. Or great in a ranch style home. Goes from wood to tile to carpet very well. For thick plush carpeting, you will get an arm workout as it picks up primarily on the pull back. Love that there isn’t any wire to trip over. Charge lasts throughout my vacuuming. Then it re-charges pretty quickly. Definitely recommend!Shoshie

Only had it about a month but love it! A little drag on thicker pile rugs but since I am 75, someone younger may not really notice. So easy to charge and seems to be holding charge well. I lift it up on chair to empty dirt bin so cleaning it is easy. Love the slider to help clean filter. Bought an extra filter so original can dry well but haven't had to use it yet. My daughter has THE STICK that costs almost twice as much as my new Bissell and I really prefer mine. And I don't have to keep pushing on power like with her stick. And I don't like holding the weight of the stick. The weight of my bissell is on floor not in my hand.Then as an added bonus I have the headlamps. This is our 4th Electrolux hard surface vacuum, two 12 volt and an 18 volt. We absolutely love this vacuum and were very upset when we couldn't find it anywhere on line. A couple of years ago we bought a Dyson 10 because we couldn't find an 18 volt Electrolux. It is not in any way comparable or even as convenient as the Electrolux. We love the swivel head, the easy recharging stand and removable hand vac, so much easier and simpler than the Dyson. When we tried to buy an Electrolux, we were told it was no longer sold in the USA, but then we found it through Amazon. It cost double the amount of our last 18 volt Electrolux, but we were thrilled to get this vacuum. Please let us know if you come back to the USA, we will definitely buy another one!!!JoeMar

I jumped at buying another ergorapido, the minute I saw they were making them again, and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s well balanced and easy to maneuver. Most of all, it’s suction was far more than I expected, and far superior to the previous models I’ve had. And you can do mats by turning it down to low speed, without worrying about sucking up the end of the mat. Emptying the dust bin was a lot simpler than previous models, too. Oh, and Hair! Hair that winds around the roller cleans off easily with the tap of your foot on the snipper tool. The only thing lacking are the instructions— simply illustrations. A little more detail would be helpful. I would definitely buy this again.Brian406

This is our third Ergorapido. We purchased our first one over ten years ago because I kept tripping on the cord to my corded vacuum. We were so impressed with it that we put away our other vacuums and never use them. It has strong suction, long lasting battery, lighted so you can see under furniture, easy to maneuver, takes up very title space when recharging, has a small hand held version attached to it and it is cordless. We purchased our second one for upstairs. My Review of Vacuum: First thing to know is that our household has 5 Dogs and 3 Cats. So you can imagine the amount of pet hair we have to deal with all the time. Now, the setup of the vacuum was very easy, and the options to choose from are Brilliant. There are Attachments for every vacuum job in the house. Then, there are 6 – Types of Suction to choose from. The revolving brushes do an incredible job of separating each strand of rug. This allows the vacuum to remove stubborn pet hair easily. One of my Favourite things about the vacuum is the level of the sound it creates, is good and Quiet. The room I had decided to run my test with was the one with the worst amount of hair. No other vacuum I had owned in my 50 years of life was ever able to remove the deeper hair from within that room. This vacuum, not only removed all the pet hair, but I only needed to the one Dust Bag. I had forgotten how nice that rug was, and now it is very clean and elegant once again. All of the pet hair on our couch and chairs were removed with ease. I have never had any actual judgment for any of my prior vacuums before, but this one I take pleasure in using it; I think highly of the options for each different job. There are no jobs that it can not do. I don’t even have to change Attachments to go onto the next room which is Hardwood Flooring, as the options for the rotating brushes are easily turned off. I had an upright Miele for 10 years and it finally died. Since they do not make uprights any longer, I purchased this with some hesitation. However, just as salesperson told me, it took me a bit but now2 I love it. It is so much lighter to move around. the pick up after my 3 indoor aussies is awesome. I love it!TERRY

I purchased used, so I expected some wear and dirt, but this thing was filthy. There were no bags (one bag wouldve been nice). I had to use a shop vac to clean the inside of the canister because it looked like a bag exploded in there. Then, I had make a trip to a specialty vacuum store to buy bags. Now, once that was all over, I have to say those Germans know whats up. This is the best vacuum Ive ever owned. I bought this to replace an almost 20 year old Oreck from when Mr. Oreck owned and ran the company. It was a tall bar to clear, but the Meile exceeded expectations. Its heavy and unwieldy, but Im sure Ill get used to that. The suction and carpet fluffing are amazing and made me rethink the need for new carpets in the kids rooms. That can wait a few more years. I wrote a review two weeks ago. Not posted which is sad. I loved Oreck-actually still do… My first vacuum lasted over 20 years. This new one is less than three years old and the handle has broken twice. It is a redesign and it is not strong. My local Oreck store has over a dozen vacuums waiting for new handles and they are aware of this weakness. I hope that you correct this design or I will never buy another Oreck, which is a shame because I think it's a great vacuum. I'm posting my pictures again to show you the broken handle and the "rigged" handle that we have to make work until the replacement comes in. We bought an Oreck upright a few years ago and it works well but it's a little heavy for me since I have congestive heart disease. The two problems are it doesn't fit under my beds and another woman used it and went over the cord and sliced it. I taped the cord but I am constantly watching we're the cord is as I vacuum so I don't go over the cord with the vacuum. It looks like the cord can't be replaced. I really like the way it cleans but I am afraid of the cord and not getting under the beds. I have to use my old vacuum to go under the beds.Momo

I have always loved my Oreck vacuum cleaners! My new Elevate Command model is disappointing. Unlike my previous model ( no longer available) it does not have the swivel head. I cannot push it under my bed like my last model. It eats my rugs and other items! My last model would immediately shut off if a rug or item got caught in it. This one shuts off eventually but leaves damage. I still appreciate the light weight of the vacuum and the power it has to suck up dirt. But I feel like I downgraded instead of upgraded this time.Nellekay

My husband and I are tall people, I absolutely love the fact that this canister vacuum has a long nozzle where I don't feel like I'm leaning over too much to vacuum the floor. It's very quiet, you can still have a conversation with it running. The turbo suction is no joke, be careful it'll eat your rug easily, learned there are different settings for the suction amount! Love that the floor head is much larger than the other leading brands. I also have allergies, so this HEPA filtration system is a a bonus to help keep our inside air clean. My only suggestion for future models is to have an option for on/off switch to be on the handle too. You always have to use the foot switch for operation, for older folks it's a long of bending down for operation. Overall so glad we invested the money to get this great vacuum!Faith D

Pros: Variable levels of suction for different surfaces. Easy to switch between hard floors and carpet. Telescopic nozzle length with swivel great to adapt for tall people and also totally amazing for hoovering under the sofa. Neat and tidy design with extra tools inside.Bag easy to replace. Pros: This is a great vacuum cleaner, I needed a replacement for my previous Vax cleaner – for hoovering out the garage and our cars. The VAX was great but after seven years it was falling apart. I have previously purchased some cheaper cyclone type hoovers which turned out to be useless. So I went for a Miele this time even though it is a bagged type vacuum cleaner, decision based on the quality of the brand and that Curry’s PC World were doing a really cheap deal on this model. It’s very powerful on maximum setting and it does a great cleaning job on the cars. The three wheels on the bottom make moving the vacuum cleaner around the garage easy. The cable return spring is really powerful, far better than any other hoover I’ve had. This cleaner is an all round high quality item. Cons: It’s a fantastic quality hoover and really powerful, however I find that the hose quite often can hit the on off button and that is enough to switch the device off. The button needs to be a little bit stiffer in operation I think.Colin

My Cleanview has been in service for nearly five years now and I couldn't be happier! I have a two-story home with hardwood and carpeted surfaces. We have a 45-pound dog and three "inherited" cats, so vacuuming is a daily chore in order to maintain the accumulation of shedded hair. The Cleanview does a super job-better, I think than the Dyson we use for the second floor. Because the vacuum is so good at picking up hair, pet dander and dirt in general, it's important to check the upper filter and make sure it is kept clean. It's easy to access and a drop or two of dish soap under warm water will keep it fresh and clean while maintaining good air flow. Through heavy-duty use I had to replace the brush and roller in the fourth year, but they were inexpensive and user serviceable. CleanView® Vacuum Cleaner #sweepstake CleanView® Vacuum Cleaner has great suction and the vacuum base brush does a good job cleaning carpets & bare floors. This machine seems to collect more dust, dirt, and hair in one use than my previous machine. It is very easy to empty the dust canister. I like having all the attachments stored ON the vacuum. I find it a little tricky to manuever because the vacuum base brush head is wide and wheels do not swivel. The turbo-brush tool for cleaning furniture is GREAT, but the hose is a little short & doesn't easily extend so I found that I had to move the machine a few times to vacuum the couch. I don't like having to remember to charge batteries before using a tool so I like having a machine with a cord. The CleanView® Vacuum Cleaner has a cord long enough to reach where I need to vacuum. The only thing I don't like is not being able to vacuum under the bed. The body of the Vacuum is too thick to slide inder furniture. Not sure how I'm going to get this job done without moving the bed. This is a draw back. Also I don't think I could ever use this machine to vacuum my stair case (back to the hand-held dustbuster for this). I bought this machine a few weeks ago to replace a Miele' Cat and Dog' vacuum cleaner I had for years. I only use a larger vacuum cleaner to vacuum once per week to do the while house, then I use my hand held vacuum for interim maintenance ! I just wanted just a good workhorse with few frills. I also don't have pets so and my children are older and less messy so thought I didn't need the more expensive version again Unfortunately this cleaner is too heavy for me to easily use. When hoovering carpets the forward motion is fine but it is very difficult to pull the head back towards you except when the machine is in the lowest suction setting – which then doesn't then pick up everything from the carpets. It is easy to use on wood and tile floors – but since most of my house is carpeted that is a problem. I asked my 22 year old rugby playing son to vacume our house and he described the activity as 'having a good workout'!Siobhan

I bought this to replace an older model that had worked well for many years but the motor had failed. The plus points are the price and the light weight. But in other respects it is a poor replacement for its predecessor. I found the connectors for joining the various bits together do not glide smoothly, so it is all quite stiff and difficult to put together and take apart. It was so stiff that I only realised that the suction tube was telescopic when I read it in the instruction manual. Luckily parts were interchangeable with my old model so I've switched back using parts from my original which has given me more flexibility. Also, on both this model and another model I tried, the suction on the main floor attachment is so strong that it is really hard to push across carpets, even on low settings. The final thing is that the attachments do not store neatly in the body of the cleaner but are stored separately so the whole thing is a lot messier to store and more complicated to carry around. It generally has a bit of a cheap plastic sort of feel to it.Deedee5

Perfect vacuum cleaner, easy and light to move around. It is a bit bulky and the length of the plug could be a bit longer, but I am still very happy with it overall. My previous vacuum (different brand) was much more expensive and was difficult/tiring to manoeuvre. I have added a "Turbo Dust Interceptor" (dust is diverted into a tube for easy disposal and saves space in the bag) and it works perfectly well!Paige

Review of 7000 model. Pros: Well packaged upon delivery. As other reviewers have stated, the build quality is better than the brands you would find at big box stores. The carrying handle is convenient. Lots of innovative functional design with the attachments. Cons: The instruction manual is poor – for example does not explain how to adjust the rotating brush attachment, or the wand extension. The attachments from my old Kenmore upright do not fit on the Prolux tube or wand. There are 3 consumable components (dust bag, HEPA filter, exhaust filter). The HEPA filter costs $35 to replace. It is washable, but not clear how often I will need to wash or replace. Moreover, the dust bags are poor quality – dust passes right through the bag into the bag compartment. The dust bags provided with the 7000 are apparently not the micro filtration type found on many other vacuum cleaners. See attached photo of accumulated dust on inside of compartment cover after vacuuming 1 room with brand new unit – VERY disappointed with this. (Yes, I double checked to ensure the bag on new 7000 was properly attached, no holes in bag, etc.) Even my 35 year old Kenmore upright doesn't have this issue because it uses micro filtration bags. As a result, I will need to clean/replace the HEPA filter, and clean the inside of the bag compartment periodically. All of this translates to high maintenance cost (time and $) for this vacuum. Overall, I give the 7000 a 3-star rating, considering it costs much more than cheaper vacuums that do a better job of containing the dust in the dust bag.Randy

No need for household heater on when vacuum is in use. 4. Dislike location of filter above sweeper. Does have tendency to blow dust/lint on bare floors before you get to it with the vacuum unless you have the handle lowered so that the filter is not aimed at the floor. Received vacuum in December 2020. Have used it numerous times for dog hair as well as the normal vacuuming. Unable to verify if the 7000 picks up more than my previous canister vacuum.Marie F.

I love it the vacuum cleaner while it's new to me company. while I sold the Kirby vacuum after I upgrade on this seen pretty good. Kirby vacuum is good but lots go work have to keep polish keep brand new etc.. I had for Kirby for 20 years whole my life. it not too loud and very quite. I bought this to clean up kitty litter my cat tracks everywhere. I had been using a Dirt Devil (similar small vacuum) but as not pleased with its performance. So far, I prefer this one. But be real – this is a "toy" vacuum, meant only for light sweep ups. This one was easy to put together, its light weight, and works fine with small messes.anniedancer50

This little guy is super awesome and makes clean up super fast and easy, just what I was looking for as with having osteoarthritis I can't always sweep my wood floors, this even vacuums small rugs in the bathroom that are thick and shaggy. I am super happy. Only issue is the head rolls around while using I guess to get every direction but it's easy to maneuver.ramgar17

Not a carpet vac but it does clean bare floors and scatter rugs. Doesn't suck the rugs up like a really powerful vac does. No brush roll but nothing for long hair to get tangled in, either. More powerful than a cordless vac and the cord is long enough.margaretw465
