Ordered this bundle for such a great deal! Unfortunately, the item was delivered to the wrong address by FedEx. Totally not Hoover's fault. They re-shipped another bundle to me, and it worked out well the second time. I love these vacuums! They do a great job on our hardwoods and rugs and carpet. Our two year old loves to help vacuum too – that's how light the stick vacuum is! Being cordless is such a plus!!! Only wish that the batteries weren't so expensive, but that's not a huge deal. We purchased one extra battery just so both the handheld and stick have their own batteries. I will say that the handheld is far inferior to the stick, but it works for what we need (to do the stairs and our cars) – just have to go over the same areas multiple times, as the suction isn't stellar. I would recommend and purchase the stick vacuum again for sure… just probably not the handheld.Moon

I bought this cordless vac because I like any conveniences I can get when it comes to house work. I use my floor cleaners more often when cordless. I can glady skip wrapping/unwrapping, plugging/unplugging cords in and out of electrical outlets from room to room. I've been happy with this cordless since I got it last July (not quite one year old). It was an upgrade overall from what I had. However the hose got a hole in it not about 6-7 months in. Not from anything I could figure out. I duct taped it and after a second hole, I contacted the Manufacturer, since it's still within a 3 year warranty. They said the hose is not made anymore – already out of making the parts??? They will replace it — okay, — but I have to mail the whole vac back on my dime. They will pay for the shipment of the new unit. Which may be kinda fair, but it's too soon for this type of episode with a not quite a year old vacuum. Since the parts are not being made – there's no commitment to this product by the mfr. I did not buy at this store, but thought I would let someone know if considering — please don't do it.Chickee

I was going back and forth between this and the shark navigator cordless. They seemed pretty even on reviews. I mostly decided on this because it's was on sale on the Hoover website! I had to wait a little longer to get it then I would from other sites(about 5 days from the day I ordered it) but it was worth the price difference for sure. I was worried about it as I have 4 dogs. A great dane(high shedder short hair), a Mini Aussie( How shedder clumpy hair), a King Shepherd(high shedder clumpy long hair) and a Cheweenie(high shedder short hair. I also have a maine coon cat. So, I essentially have lots of hair everywhere, all the time. I do NOT know how this performs on carpers because I bought it for my wood floors( bathrooms(2), hallway, entryway, dining room, and kitchen.) So far it has worked great for me. I have had ZERO clog issues despite the amount of hair it has to pick up and I have been able to vacuum all the above mentioned rooms in one swoop without the battery going dead. It picks everything up easily. I actually accidentally sucked up a good size piece of paper today and really though it would cause my first clog, but atlas it didn't. So far this vacuum is performing perfectly for me. I think the only downside I can think of as of now is the fact that a replacement battery is 100$. However, there are off brand batteries other places that are compatible with this vacuum for half the price, and the reviews on them state that they actually work better than the original hoover battery… So, I will probably just go that route whenever I need a new battery. Shark Rocket Pro Corded Stick Vacuum is light weight & really easy to remove the canister from the stick stick. Glides nicely over our entire house which has mostly wood floors and tile, but did well on multiple rugs with different pile heights. It even comes with attachments to clean the stairs, furniture or our SUV & truck. We had a different cordless one but needed a vacuum we didn’t have to worry about running out of battery 1/2 way through our home. The cord is super long so that helps us from having to re-plug every few feet. The dust compartment is simple to empty and clean out with a press of a button. We have 2 dogs and 4 kids so we’re constantly vacuuming, the power is awesome and it’s convenient to easily unload the debris. It’s lightweight too, so it’s easy for me to move around the house without it being a hassle. There is a little downside to it, which is that it doesn’t stand on its own, so you’ll have to either prop it on something or fold it (which is easy) in order to do something else if needed while vacuuming. So I’m taking it down a star for that since I do have to stop and pick up toys etc having kids & pets constantly playing.Heathermthomas

The Shark Rocket Pro, picks up VERY well. The area I first vacuumed with it, was a area that had been vacuumed the day before. Within five minutes, the Shark had picked up A LOT more. The vacuum was easy to assemble and the attachment comes apart easily to be able to vacuum the ceiling and other had to get to areas. The Shark glides across any floor easily and turns easily. The only drawback I found with this Shark machine was the motor was near the top of the handle and it made the machine top heavy. It doesn’t stand on it’s own. There are two small attachments that didn’t have anywhere to attach to the machine, that I could find. But, as well as this machine works, I find these to be minor problems. As you can see from the photo, it picked up quite a bit after only a five minute vacuum. I have animals and cleaning hair has always been a problem.adcatex6

This Shark Rocket Pro Corded Stick Vacuum works GREAT ! I really like how light weight it is, I can very easily maneuver it around the house with little effort and let me say how GREAT it picks up all the dirt and debris from my floors. My carpets are much cleaner/fluffy and my hardwood floors are cleaned better than when I sweep. I am very excited and satisfied at how much debris/hair/dust/dirt was in the debris container. This vacuum has PLENTY of attachments that I can use on my stairs and I'll even be cleaning my curtains and window seals. As small as this vacuum is, is does the job QUICKLY and very EFFECTIVELY, much much better than my current canister vacuum. This Shark Rocket Pro Corded Stick Vacuum is much quieter and very stronger in terms of suction than ANY vacuum I've ever owned. I went from 45 minutes of vacuuming to 15 minutes, WHAT A GREAT IMPROVEMENT ! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Shark Rocket Pro Corded Stick Vacuum if you want clean floors with little effort AND multiple attachments that can simplify and clean the most hard to reach places and other areas.liljayp

Honestly haven’t had any major complaints about the vacuum. We do have kids so we use it probably every other day to 2 days. It’s a compact vacuum which is a plus. The one tiniest complaint I’d have is after going back and forth a couple times there are some items that you would think the vacuum would pick up, but doesn’t. Instead, I use the detachable wand for those odd pieces. I should clarify, the vacuum has picked up 99% of what is seen on the carpet. It’s just those random odd stragglers and it doesn’t happen every time. As for our tiles, I just use the wand to pick up anything necessary then jet swift it but that’s a different product.GL

To start off I would have to say that the Dirt Devil Endura Max Upright vacuum is a high quality performing product. There is very great suction when it comes to pet hair and even popcorn in the carpet that my child had spilled. The spinning brush is adjustable to many settings. Such as bare floor to higher profile carpet. It does a great job of pulling dirt and hair out of my medium profile carpet. It isn't to heavy so when I use the extended hose handle I can carry it from place to place. One thing in was not a fan of was the multi dusting piece. It was a little to bulky to fit into my window seal to get that dirt out. The smaller end was also not long and thin enough to fit into my dryer vent. The dusting piece also added extra unnecessary bulk. It is a nice concept but it isn't as great as the individual pieces. Other than my opinion on the duster, I really enjoy and love my Dirt Devil Endura Max Upright vacuum. If you are contemplating this purchase, I recommend you try this product. Other than marrying my ex husband, buying this vacuum was the worst decision of my life. It is bulky and cheap plastic. Extremely loud and makes my arm go numb from all of the vibration! It has a "hardwood" setting but the brush still spins in that setting, which can scratch the hardwood. I was excited about the pet brush attachment, but is doesn't really work since the attachment will NOT stay on the hose or in the attachment holder, for that matter. It does not have much suction, I feel running a lint brush over the carpet would pick up more! I won't even give this vaccum away because I wouldn't want anyone to hate me!BBB Customer

I have an older, corded Dyson which is still a workhorse. But since it is quite heavy and I am older, I can no longer easily carry it up and down stairs. So this corded one now stays upstairs which is carpeted, and the V12 Detect Slim is perfect for downstairs which is all tile/hardwood. I have 2 very fluffy cats which shed a lot – constantly – and will sometimes scatter litter when covering their waste. I tried another stick vacuum which was great for about a year, but then started dropping the litter back down and out onto the floor again so this was frustrating and useless. Back to Dyson and so far so very good. The one small feature that helped me finally make the choice of the V12 Detect Slim is the "on/off" button over the trigger in the other models. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and the trigger would probably not be comfortable for me. I also love the laser attachment to find all the litter scatter pieces that are not easily seen but certainly are felt by bare feet. I've only had this vacuum for a short while and have not tried all of the attachments yet but am hopeful that my furniture will be cleaner of cat hair just as my floors seem to be. Yes, the dust bin is small, but it's so easy to detach and empty I don't find that to be an issue for me. As long as the V12 Detect slim keeps holding the litter in this bin, I will keep singing its praises. I also bought the standing Dok and love this. Would just like a holder of some sort to attach to the stand for holding more of the attachments. So, considering how well my older, corded vacuum has performed and continues to perform, I'm hopeful for similar performance from the V12 Detect Slim.SueD12

I was very excited to get the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, especially since I have had such great experiences with other Dyson products. Packaging and assembly with a breeze pretty self explanatory. I was impressed from the start with how lite it was, which made is very convenient for the stairs in our house. It was easy enough for the kids to carry around and use too, which is always a plus! I found it fairly easy to use for over head tasks too. I liked that it only has a single button power control. The LCD screen is probably my favorite feature. It shows you what has been lifted on the different surfaces, it is clear and easy to understand. In fact at one point it wasn’t functioning properly and the LCD screen told me what the problem was right away and I was able to fix it right away. I love that I didn’t have to trouble shoot it and take the whole thing apart to figure out the problem. It came with some neat attachments, the fluffy yellow and purple roller that is perfect for our wooden and tile floors, it had no problem fitting under our dining table and coffee table, this saved me time from having to move the furniture around. It comes with a wall dock that provides a way to easily store all the components while charging it as well. It included a neat hair screw tool, the allows you to pick up pet hair making pet spaces easy and fast to keep clean. They have a new design on the motorbar which helps to detangle long hair, eliminating the need for me to take it apart to cut out tangled hair like I have had to with other vacuums. You can select from the three cleaning modes depending on what job you are tackling. The waste bin is super easy to empty, simply point it in the trash can and push the lever to release the dirt. It is quick and straight to the point and I didn’t have to tough anything so my hands never got dirty. I love that it gives you 60 minutes of charge unlike previous machines that gave my around 20 minutes, also I found that the battery did a great job of holding the charge even when it was not in use or plugged in. The only “con” I would say I found was that if you doing a bigger job like cleaning more that a few rooms at a time, you have to stop and empty out the bin more often perhaps because it is a smaller unit but if you don’t mind that it really isn’t an issue. I have 3 (now 4) Dyson vacuums, I have the Airwrap and it is so awesome I wanted to try their other products. I purchased my first used D6 from eBay, I wanted to try one to see if it worked as well as it was claimed. I liked it but wanted a newer so I gave that one to my son and saved up and went with the V10 model (which I still have and still love), I then purchased the canister (refurbished) for deep cleaning items like furniture because the V10 would only go about 30 minutes and that was frustrating to me. I wanted something with a swappable battery but did not want to spend another $600 so when the small one (Omni Glide) came out I got it from Best Buy and found some extra attachments on ebay for it (mini motorized tool) and that one was excellent for day to day and my car, the battery lasts forever and is swappable, but I never needed a second for that one. My daughter borrowed it (she cleans houses) and she loved it so I let her keep it and found this one, which is in the middle of the 2 I have. I think the laser might send my OCD into overdrive because it showed everything on the floor when it looks clean without it. It is crazy how much dust it shows. I am glad I can turn it off if I choose, but I have not done that. IMO this is the best of the 5 I have tried. The battery seems to last, but it is swappable so when they are available I will be buying an extra. But so far I am using eco mode mostly and the battery lasts longer than I expected. The suction even on eco is better than my D10, my D10 does not suck up the throw rugs, but this one does. I wish I could adjust the suction to lower for this reason but all around this is a great cordless. I like the power switch because it makes it easier when using some of the attachments, not having to hold the trigger, but I am torn as I also like the trigger switch and miss it a little.M00nbeam

I bought this vacuum in 2018 when my 1st little one arrived. It was great at picking up the crumbs. We used this daily for 2-5 minute intervals around the dinner table. After about 1.5 years the batter on it died. It's not replaceable either which means the unit is junk. I contacted B&D to do a warranty claim and they sent me a "new" replacement. Well guess what's happened again after about 1.5 years of the same use… Battery is dead AGAIN! I tried contacting B&D again and was asked multiple questions about the unit lastly being the inscribed manufactured date on the bottom of the unit. It was from 2018, meaning 1.5 years ago when the 1st vacuum died, they gave me an old, and probably refurbished unit. This date meant that I could no longer receive any type of warranty work, even though when I received the vacuum it sure wasn't in 2018… I will not be purchasing a replacement at this point and will go out of my way to no recommend this product to other.JoeBazooka

I give it 5 out of 5 over all for suction power and the ability to clean out the whole canister in the garbage with just the push of a button. You can actually clean the whole canister and filter with with soap and water let it air dry. The filter is reusable and cleans out very well. It’s unbelievable what things this vacuum actually picks up. I love LED head light lamps on the front of the vacuum you can really see the dirt and hair when the lights are on and off! The real bonus about this vacuum is the cordless feature no cords to worry about. Turn it on and go! The only negative thing that really disappoints me is the battery power only last 5 to 10 mins if your lucky this is super frustrating. I actually end up buying a new Black Decker battery for $77 off of Amazon.ca. This battery last anywhere from 20 to 30 mins longer the vacuum runs like a dream now. I got this model of Bed, Bath and Beyond website. I highly recommend not paying full price for it because what ever money left over you will need a new 20V Max Black Decker Lithium 3.0AH battery they sell on Amazon.ca. #visualeyecandy.r

I loved this vacuum. It was my birthday present and my husband and I drove down to the States to get one that was on sales there. It was easy for me to carry around and the hose helped me get into smaller place. So much better than your typical dust buster. Within a few years the battery became very weak and I only have about 20 seconds of power now. I called around and there is no battery replacement for it. I LOVE my Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum cleaner! I vacuum my house at least daily due to having one big dog and 2 cats that all seem to shed. I usually end up purchasing a new vacuum every year. I have owed so many vacuums over the years and I have never bought the same one twice. I think I have found my forever brand and model with the Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum! I love how powerful this vacuum is! After one vacuum, I was amazed at how much hair was in the canister! I love that the vacuum is lightweight since I have to carry it to three different floors in my home. I like the different settings for both the carpet and the hardwood as my home has both types of flooring. The suction on this vacuum is so powerful, you will be amazed! The tools that came with this vacuum are awesome! The quick release cleaning wand is perfect to clean those high areas and the dusting brush is extremely helpful with cleaning the blinds, curtains and ceiling fans. My favorite attachment tool though is the pet turbo tool! This tool is so easy to use and gets all the hair off my couches and steps! Thank you Hoover for making such a powerful vacuum cleaner! The overall feel of this vacuum cleaner would best be described as cheap. The plastic used for the housing is flimsy and the handle itself feels unsecure. The dirt collection canister is difficult to release due to the manufacture glue holding the flap in place. The brush attachment stopped working within 10 minutes of use and when it does run the attachment provides poor cleaning power. Overall I am not satisfied with the vacuum and I have begun my return of the item. I purchased this and a Hoover carpet cleaner and I am just as displeased with the cleaner.Bill

I've had this vacuum for a b little over a year as a spare for upstairs. I don't use it that often and it had worked fine for what I needed. Then it shut off the other day while using it. I discovered hair clogs in the hose. Seriously disappointed since this is specifically for households with pets. I cleared the clogs, cleaned the brushroll and tried again. There was very little suction and it still turned off after a few minutes of use. I took out the filters & made sure they were clean. I was actually surprised at how clean they were. Tested it again this morning and there is still no suction. It gets hot and shuts off. Not sure if I should spend the money to get it services or just throw it away. I don't remember if I registered it for the warranty and there doesn't seem to be a way to check the website.Candace

Great suction power for this light weight handy 3-piece vacuum stick. The brush handles my sofa cushions so well. The adapter to reach tight spots and the maneuvering of the vacuum itself is wonderful. It moves flat & sideways to get underneath furniture. Okay so I read the reviews and got nervous, but I’m here to be honest with you. A lot of the buyers expected this to be a Dyson and if you’re expecting that then no this isn’t for you. I got this vacuum because ours broke 3 days before Christmas and I wanted something cheap to hold us over in between paychecks as we are having people over. We have a house with all hardwood and linoleum floors, a messy two year old, a big hairy dog, and a hard working man who constantly forgets to take his boots off at the door. Could this be our main vacuum? Heck no! It cleans small visible messes and wasn’t very great for dog hair or fabric surfaces but it was good for the kitchen crumbs and chunks of dirt from his boots. So here we go Pros: – small lightweight – cleans small visible messes – inexpensive – not very durable so don’t be rough Cons: – not great for dog hair or Christmas tree needles – cord isn’t very long – no where to put extra pieces – not great on carpet So let’s recap. This is NOT the vacuum you want the cleaning person to show up with to do a deep clean. This is the swiffer of vacuums, it’s meant to be that in between cleaner and can’t get all things. I like this stick vacuum, it's definitely bare bones, but it does a better than good job picking up dirt and dust. I only use it on hardwood floors, so cannot speak to the job it would do on carpet or rugs. I take 2 stars off because the connection of the canister that collects the dirt/dust does not properly seat into the motor section, so at times will spontaneously disconnect. There's a button that should pop out and secure it, but mine only pops out halfway. Also, the stick connection is tight and difficult to maneuver, so I usually just leave it in, making it awkward to disengage and empty the canister. Same with the floor attachment. If it were even slightly better made, I would recommend it more highly, of course it is inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.BB&B Customer

Very powerful, light and maneuverable, the brush is driven by a separate motor, seams like a great design, but the brush allows hair to get right into the Barrings!!! I removed and cleaned the brush after 2nd use, found that some pet and human hair had gotten into the Barring, melted the barring cap and housing. the third use the brush stopped before i was done as it was bound up. I only used it for the upstairs of my house. I'll call support to try to get another brush, but how long will the last? after years of well designed brushes, WHAT Happened? were they lasting too long?DAVID

My little dog sheds an unbelievable amount of fur. I use this throughout my home. The best things about this product are: 1) strong motor; 2) it's lightweight; 3) the attachment hose is long enough that the vacuum doesn't collapse when in use; 3) disassembling the unit to clean is very easy, assembling is also very easy. I bought a well-advertised competitive pet vacuum during the pandemic shutdown. It caused me nothing but grief. I don't have the strong hands of a 20-year old any longer, so I dreaded having to clean the canister. There were times I broke into tears of frustration because I just didn't have the strength to move the parts in the same directions. (I put that product up on the neighborhood website "for sale" section, reducing my purchase price by 2/3. Still no takers.) I need a clean house. Here is what I love about it, personally I have been able to vacuum my whole house on 1 charge. I love not having to unplug, plug, unplug, plug. The second thing I like is that its not heavy. I will say it does collect alot of debris. It also has to really packed and the filter really dirty before acting up and then it will leave debris on the floor. I agree is does not vacuum as well, if the filter is dirty.
What I don't love is that it cuts out like it has a short in it when vacuuming, as if you have released the power button. I dont know if this an actual short or a flawed design but its very frustrating. I would give it more stars if it didn't cut out when vacuuming and that you didn't have to continually hold the power button down while vacuuming. It starts to hurt after a few minutes because I'm trying to make sure it doesn't cut out so I'm squeezing extra hard not even realizing I'm doing it. I am a hotel manager and professional housekeeper. This vacuum sucks at sucking. I've had it a year now. I keep it meticulously clean because if I dont it doesnt work. The brush wont spin when you pull back, the battery dies within 20 minutes of use on regular power no matter how long you've charged it, the filter is tiny and clogs almost immediately requiring you to rinse and wait the recommended 24 hours to dry before using again. The canister is small needing emptied frequently. These things combined make a five minute job at least 30 minutes worth of work. If I want to clean the house I have to start by cleaning the vacuum. Its design is flawed in the sense that the removable pieces and stem are hard to actually take off. I thought because it was a Hoover and it was more than I wanted to spend that I'd be impressed. I waited a year to review because I wanted to see if they would make good on their promise to handle the issues bit I still have not heard back from them. A year of one way correspondence and nothing. Inewspected their request to not return it to the store when I shouldnt have. Dont buy this model. Maybe another is better but I doubt I take the chance. I've had this for almost a year and am reasonably satisfied with it, though it has some issues. Pluses- vacuum and attachments are extremely versatile- great for vacuuming spiderwebs overhead with the crevice tool, as well as on the floor. On the floor, the head swivels a lot and readily fits into small and low spaces. I've had no issues with the battery- it seems to run the vac for a long time, and I plug it in after every use. Minuses- The long wand with floor head is difficult to remove from the vacuum motor housing. Also, the dirt cup doesn't latch easily to the vacuum- you have to slide it in place and give it a good smack with your hand- took me a while to figure this out. The little filter fills up very quickly and suction is lost. The motor is very loud. If vacuuming overhead, the motor is near your ear so I wear ear plugs to do this. Sure would be nice to have a light on the front of the floor head. Upshot- if you can live with the minuses, it works very well and can be used for just about any vacuuming task. No need to buy a separate handheld.Katy G

I am a highly experienced electronic repair technician. I just rebuilt a Shark Rotator Professional lift-away vacuum. Of course users fail to replace or clean all three filters causing loss of suction. Cleaning these with warm water and dawn dish soap works best. The unit claims to have thermal monitoring protection on the brush roll base and its design is causing the complaints of failure to work on carpeting in consumer homes. There is no thermal sensor. It uses a D.C. motor to a circuit board where a series low ohm current drop resistor exists. When the motor is slowed , thwe motor draws more current which lowers the resistence in the moter resistor series circuit causing increased voltage drop on the resistor triggering the circuit and activating the motors disconnect relay turning off motor. Although it does much to protect the motor in case of armature freezing with current applied. It makes the consumer unhappy because they cant vacuum carpets as they expect to paying almost 400 dollars for this nice vacuum. The fast fix is simply taking a soldering iron and lifting on side of the feed back silicon diode and reassembling unit. Now you will find the brush roll attachment actually works and does an awesome cleaning job on any carpet. Be sure to use caution and not pick up things that will jam the brush roller and break the belt. If this happens please turn off vacuum unplug and remove obstruction from brush roller. Then plug back in and finish vacuuming. I hope this helps others, mine is now issue less and working awesome.MissTiffany2025

Okay, this vacuum cleaner is actually FUN to run! It’s lightweight and very flexible. The long wand makes getting corners, cracks and crevices a breeze. Only drawback is the base will tip over if you stretch the hose too far, so keep an eye on it as you use the wand. Cleaning stairs is easy with the “Lift Away” feature. The NV501 has strong suction and durability. Do your regular maintenance as other reviews have mentioned, and store it properly. It’s super easy to take apart when needed. I accidentally sucked up a microfiber cloth once, but was able to open the hose at the right spot and pull the cloth right out. We’ve had our NV501 for almost a decade and still no problems. Have purchased this particular model as gifts for friends and family. Highly recommended.DB

I’ve had this model for about 5 years and yes occasionally you’ll have to cut some hair off the powdered brush if you have long hair or girls around or just heavy traffic I guess but that takes literally 20 seconds. Grab a pair of scissors, cut the hair and pull it out. Any vacuum with a brush is going to eventually wrap up hair! The vacuum has one killer motor, it cleans like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’m continuously impressed by the vast amount of dander, dust, and allergens it grabs every single time! I love how the handle comes off to clean small areas such as my couch cushions, behind furniture, etc. (I have this model which cane with ALL the attachments so I may have paid a bit more but it was definitely worth it) the only other difference is the colors. Mine has dark blue where the red is shown. I absolutely love how I can detach the base when going up stairs as shown in the photo. I don’t use the tiny “car part cleaners” which also came with the bulk of attachments but I guess it’s there if I were to ever need it. My fav attachment is the smaller roller brush that literally eats every cat hair off my dining room chairs and wherever else I need it. Anyway I suppose I could go on but you get my drift. By the way of course after awhile the vacuum will accumulate dust around the base and hose (I’ve seen someone post photos here of their dirty vacuum lol) but it’s a vacuum! It’s going to get dirty! My last thought pertains to the newest model I believe, the NV1000 with the “self cleaning brush” or double brush very bulky looking one. Although I haven’t used it, I personally don’t think it is going to sell much in the end. I say that with regards to the current reviews and complaints along with the marketing aspect in mind. What I conclude is just logical: once again as long as there is a revolving brush or in this case 2 rolling brushes, in time there WILL BE a hair issue as long as there are women, girls, and pets around. We purchased the Shark corded stick model at Target a few years ago. At first it was great, and I recommend it for smaller houses or apartments since it's lightweight and small. It's powerful for its size. But it's not super durable. From what I've read, Shark doesn't make many replacement parts and there aren't many opportunities to repair their products. After about 2 years, several important parts were broken, including the hinge holding the dust cup together. We've been using packing tape to hold together the dust cup, and we have to cut off the tape to empty it and then re-tape it shut every time. Also the main little interior hose at the bottom that connects the head to the stick cracked wide open. The brush gets wrapped with long hair easily. The suction is pretty bad now, probably because of all these issues. Overall pros: It's great on wood floors, good on rugs, and works well while it lasts. Lightweight and easy to maneuver and carry up stairs. I like the attachments and they're easy to use. Long cord. Bagless is more environmentally friendly, although it's best to empty it into a plastic bag anyways. It's a good deal when it's on sale for $100. Overall cons: Doesn't stand up on its own. Cheaply made. The dust bin is really small. It's a hassle to empty the dust bin because you have to unplug the whole vacuum and carry the entire cord out to the trash can with you to empty the cup. Also, bagless vacuums just seem dirtier to me since the dust and hair isn't actually contained. It's always gross emptying it and trying to avoid the cloud of crap flying up at you. It is amazing honestly. We vacuumed our carpets with our old Shark right before we went to Target to look for a new one. We came home and vacuumed again over all of it. The canister filled up TWICE. I was mortified lol. This vacuum has powerful suction and harder tips on the roller that RAKE the carpet and get the film of dog hair out of my thick plush carpeting. I’m not lying. If I was unimpressed, I would tell you so! You DO have to empty the canister more than you would any other vacuum because it is small. If you are continuously vacuuming every room in your house and not emptying, you are going to put extra stress on the motor. It IS a stick vacuum. If you need heavy duty, 5-6 rooms at a time vacuuming, this isn’t your vacuum. I had to empty after EACH room because my vacuum obviously wasn’t doing its job. But I expect next time I won’t (I hope) because I will be pulling out the vacuum daily and keeping the dirt to a minimal in general. I really wanted cordless but my man insisted he didn’t want to deal with battery issues. I’ve never had a cordless and I just wanted one so bad. Cords irritate me and get in my way lol. But this purchase was good. So far I am very satisfied. I will definitely come back and redo my review if I feel like my opinion has changed in a couple months. I’ve had this vacuum for 4 years. Here are my thoughts: PROS 1. Good suction, still finds dust and dirt and pet hair 2. Lightweight and really low profile so you can vacuum under things easily 3. Price is amazing for the quality 4. No bags and all the filters I can clean out on my own and reuse. Huge cost and environmental savings. 5. Easy and fast detach / attach for getting corners and using the tools that come with it. 6. Dust bin opens easily and smart so I can hold it over the trash and won’t get dust everywhere. Less messy to empty than others. CONS 1. Corded 2. Hose broke down in head where it bends and flexes as you vacuum, I noticed it at year 3.5, so I had to replace that segment of hose (had holes/cracks in it). I purchased a hose at Home Depot and found some instructions online. Overall it was moderately hard to replace. 3. Suction does not adjust when you vacuum over rugs like the expensive name brand competitor so I have to stand on one end to hold the rug down due to the suction wanting to pickup the rug. 4. Doesn’t sit upright, must lean against a wall when it’s not hanging on the wall given it is too heavy. If you pause during vacuuming to pick something up etc. the thing may fall down while leaning against the wall. Takes a bit of experience to get the perfect, no-fall lean figured out.jessica.b

I received the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum to review in my home. I have 3 kids and two dogs so we are always vacuuming. My memories of Dirt Devil were the rechargeable handheld from the 80/90's that my parents used to have. So for me it was a pleasant surprise to see what they are now. The vacuum was easy to put together and the handle and power head are easy to remove. Everyone in my family used the vacuum for one thing or another and it was nice not to have to worry about the battery running low. The corded feature is nice in a small vacuum. Always having the same consistent suction power is definitely a positive. The main vacuum that we have in our house is a Dyson. While it does a great job at vacuuming, it's clunky and hard to maneuver when I need to vacuum tight spots like the car or furniture. While the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum doesn't have the same vacuuming power as a Dyson I thought it would still be great to use on areas like the Furniture and my Car and I was right!We tried to use it on our fluffy rugs and it did not fare very well but on tightly woven surfaces it did well. It's a lightweight vacuum so my 4 1/2 year old was excited to get to use it. Where we ended up using it the most was on the furniture. Since the long stick is removable it made it easier to use on the cushions and since it has an actual power head it really did remove all the debris off my couch. I couldn't imagine using my Dyson that way. Even with the attachment that Dyson has for furniture it doesn't clean as well as the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum did. A couch without dog hair was awesome! It was also great to vacuum the floors of my SUV as well and not just use the hose on my Dyson. The floor mats actually looked fully clean in my car. Half of my house is also hardwood, so we are constantly sweeping and use the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum to also pick up the piles we swept up. The removable power head made it easy to turn this into a quicker picker upper for us. The output motor is strong and if you are not careful you will blow your collection pile all over. We learned that the hard way. It was very easy to empty the collection bin but I noticed that most of what was picked up would stick to the filter, needing to be removed by hand if it did not shake free. Overall for the price and size, it performed as I would expect. It's hard to compare it to my Dyson because the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum is not the same caliber of vacuum. As I said for my family it worked great to keep the couch clean and the inside of the car picked up. Any on the go parent would enjoy having this when it came time to clean out the minivan. With regards to losing two stars, as I said in my review, the output motor has a powerful blower but that doesn't equate to suction power. You will blow debris around if you aren't careful with what direction you point it in. I also was not pleased with having to touch the debris that would stick to the filter when I would try and empty it. I received the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum as a free sample from a sampling company for my honest opinion. I have 4 children and 2 dogs. This is NOT the vacuum for us or for anyone who needs a quality vacuum. This IS a vacuum for someone who lives in small quarters and just needs to do a quick vacuum. I have 3 other vacuums and this Dirt Devil is the last I reach for when a mess needs to be cleaned up. On the other hand, this vacuum is fantastic for my children to use. The handle is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP and I do not think it will withstand 4 kids. I expect that to fall apart first. The part of the vacuum that I do LOVE is the fact that the bottom part of the vacuum (where the roller brush is) can stay connected to the dustbuster and my kids use this vacuum to vacuum the stairs (picture included below)! I have a different hand vac that is used for the stairs but it is too heavy for my children to use, so this dirt devil will now be used instead. I do like that the Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum does have a cord. I do not have to worry about running out of battery or of decreased suction power (which often happens with cordless vacuums). The "button" that you press to release the roller brush part from the dust buster is poorly made and hard to utilize. This design makes it hard to release the roller brush from the dust buster. In review, this vacuum is not a perfect fit for MY large family. I DO like that it is light weight and my kids can use it to vacuum the stairs. I received this vacuum about a week ago as a sample to give an honest review. First, let me say that I have multiple vacuums that are multiple different styles that I am comparing this one against. The Dirt Devil Vibe 3 in 1 is VERY light weight and quite small. It was very easy to put together, minus attaching the brush head. Attaching the brush head takes a bit more strength than I would expect and it took me a while to get the connection. My 8 year old daughter was able to put the rest of the vacuum together on her own. When she saw the size of it, she was very excited because she thought it was for her! When the brush head is attached, you can select whether you want to turn the roller brush on or turn it off. It is part of the vacuums power switch. While I think this vacuum would be great for someone with a bad back because it is so light, the power switch is very low…most people would need to bend down to turn it on. It worked fine on low pile area rugs, but I'm not sure how much it would do on regular carpet. While vacuuming on hard wood floors, it was SO light weight that it kind of slid all over the place. This vacuum is essentially a dust buster with a power cord, stick and roller brush attachment. It is meant for smaller spaces. Because it has a power cord, it does have and keep decent suction. It can be used with or without the roller brush and with or without the stick. It is very easy to empty and it also comes with a little attachment to get into corners/creases while using it as a dust buster. For me, I'd prefer to just grab me cordless hand vacuum for quick clean up or smaller areas rather then pull this vacuum out and plug it in. I think the cordless that I have has more strength and suction. I guess my final thought is that it would be good for small spaces and someone who requires a lighter style vacuum. It cleans and does everything it's supposed to do but if you already have a cordless stick vacuum, it's an unnecessary purchase. I also feel that it's priced a bit high.AliBArt77

I bought this to replace a 2-in-1 stick vacuum thats handle broke. I bought the Dirt Devil Express Lite because not only was it lightweight for me to handle, had a removable hands free dust buster, it also had a roller brush I can use for area rugs and gets in the edges of the carpet along the wall. The price was about the same as the one I had with less features, so it was a great value for the price. After putting it together I realized it also has another valuable feature. The filter is rubber and can be rinsed to get rid of dust. No nasty cioth filter that never gets clean and holds odors. I have respiratory condition and this will keep my house dust free! I am so excited to have such a powerful, yet lightweight sweeper. It will meet all my needs!Psmithny2

I work full time and run an animal rescue. I needed a strong vacuum for the intake room and had NO time to put something together. To my surprise the unit literally snapped together! It also has a button to turn the broom off which I LOVE (makes me wonder about those reviews that said the broom quit, it's not advertised on box only instruction guide). We have a German Shepard that sheds like mad all year long. One could build another dog out of all the fur he sheds! We purchased the Bissell Crosswave a few weeks ago and I am thoroughly impressed. Our area rugs have never been cleaner (they are dark blue so the fur REALLY shows!). And it's so easy and convenient to use. The canister is easy to remove and empty. The wand is easy to take off and use for those nooks and crannies with the slim tool (which has a handy brush that slides up for dusting). Setting the height level while vacuuming works like a dream. With our old vac you had to turn off the vac to adjust the height. It has amazing suction. The power cord is nice and long so you don't have to keep moving it to a different outlet to reach. It's the best vacuum I've ever used on bare floors as well. It doesn't shoot the debris around but actually picks it up! The inside of the canister has removable parts that can be rinsed off as well which is a nice feature as here in Arizona it's very dusty. If I could give more stars, I definitely would!Kaarin

I have a German Shepherd who is very floofy. I narrowed down my choices between the Bissell CleanView® Rewind Pet Vacuum Cleaner ad the Dyson Animal II. I have had 2 Dysons before. The feature that made me decide on the Bissell is that it has an adjustment dial for 5 different brush heights so whatever you are vacuuming can be done effortlessly with just the right amount of suction regardless of the surface – tile, this rug, p[lush carpet etc. I have tile, carpets and rugs. The other strong selling point was the included upholstery attachment, which works like a dream on dog hair. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the length of the electrical cord. I had no idea that my carpets, my floors, my home was THAT bad until I used this incredible cleaning machine! I knew my old vacuum (also a Bissel) was needing replaced, and the suction on it still worked well but it had some other issues so I decided to buy a new vacuum, Boy oh boy am I glad that I did! After vacuuming my no carpeted floors with this vacuum, they looked like I had just mopped them! It picks up pet hair like a pro! I love how the canister opens up at the bottom with just the push of a button, no mess, no fuss! And one of my other favorite features of this vacuum is the self wind up cord! What a time saver and back saver! I get so tired of winding the cord up. Also it makes it easier to bring from room to room without having to trail a cord behind you or get caught up in it! Yes, I love this vacuum! It works so good that if ever the makers of Bissell came to me and asked me to do a commercial for them, not only would I do it, I do it for free! The interchangeable batteries, the many attachments and the light weight of this vacuum is the only positives. This is my first cordless vacuum so I am not an expert but this is my observations after 1.5 months of using it. While I will say the hard floor power head works great for exactly that I must say the multi surface power head is terrible. After vacuuming a single 5’x7’ rug, the light goes red, the roller stops, and it needs to be cleaned. It’s not like we have a lot of hair in our house, just myself and my partner, as our dog does not shed at all. To clarify it comes with two full sized motor heads. One for hard floors (this one is great and hair doesn’t get caught in it at all) and one for carpet and hard floors (this multipurpose one gets a lot of hair caught in no time at all and will stop working until you take it apart and clean it) Canadian Tire does not offer returns on vacuums once you’ve tested them which I somewhat understand but it’s also a nuisance and it something that may hinder me from buying one from them in the future. If we hadn’t bought this vacuum on sale 50% off I would be quite upset. This vacuum feels very cheaply made. If you are looking for a cheap vacuum for hard floors then this one will do a decent job. But as for carpet this one isn’t the one.Heather

Opening up the box, this was very simple to put together without the use of instructions. It only has a handful of pieces that easily snap together. My immediate reaction was how topheavy it is- and NOT freestanding on it's own, which is a slight disappointment. This seems to be the norm with cordless stick vacuums. I do wish they'd find a way to allow them to stand, so you don't have to prop them up against a wall and hope they don't fall when moving something n the midst of vacuuming, picking up a toy you don't want sucked up, etc. After using this for some time, I can say that it certainly is not my favorite vacuum. Here are my main thoughts: I love that it is cordless and can't imagine plugging a vacuum into a wall after using this, but the battery life doesn't last very long and it's a bit annoying to always be charging this. It only comes with one battery, so you can't be charging one and using one- and they are VERY expensive to purchase from Hoover. It isn't easy to empty. We have a home full of pets so this very quickly gets filled up with hair, and it's not as simple as just opening the base and dumping it out. I have to reach my hand in and pull clumps of hair from the tiny crevices of the device. The topheaviness is really an issue. I can't tell you how many times I've propped this up against the wall, only for it to fall and scare everyone in the house to bits. Has an "extra" suction feature that is so loud its unbearable to use. There is truly no need for the volume to be amplified by 20 when using this feature. After only using for a few months, the bottom brush/roller is so tangled in hair that I need to take a pair of scissors to it soon, but am dreading it. I wish it sucked up this hair rather than tangling it in the roller. All in all, it gets the job done, but in your search for the perfect vacuum to spend your hard earned money on, I'd pass this one up.Courtney

When I first purchased this vacuum the battery died after 12 uses. Since it was under warranty I got a new battery. These batteries though are 3Ah. In order to vacuum my living room/dining room and kitchen though I must recharge two of these 3Ah batteries. A 3Ah battery takes me 4 hours to recharge but lasts 15-20 minutes depending on the setting you have it on i.e.CARPET or ECO etc. On another day I can then have them fully recharged to then do the kitchen/hallway or other small rooms. Therefore you MUST have two of these batteries. If you spend $300 on two 4Ah batteries you could do a condo sized apartment (1000 square feet in my case). Therefore the onus of technology improvement for the batteries falls on Hoover and they should thus charge less for these batteries. The cordless technology is nowhere near where it should be and for that reason I cannot recommend it to my friends with would prefer central vac and they are mostly in houses not condos. I always use the less draining ECO function on the vacuum and get 20 minutes out of each 3Ah battery. I believe two 4Ah batteries are sufficient for 1000 sq foot space to get done without needing to recharge them though but $300 for those batteries is like buying another high end vacuum cleaner.SD

Out of the box, the vacuum was great. Sucked up everything. Within a month, it was basically a glorified hand vacuum. The only way I can get it to do anything is to use remove the hose and the attachments. The actual suction when using it upright is terrible. It vibrates like a dolphining F1 race car, makes a hideous popping and hissing sound from the side, and worst of all, leaves fuzz, dirt , and giant hard balls of lint all over my floors rather than actually cleaning them. Using this vacuum is more work than simply using a broom and a hand held dirt Devil. Customer service was helpful in trying to fix the issues but the suggested solve didn't work. The vacuum is a lemon…complete waste of the time and money spent.Card Lady

It does quality performing for pet hair to include the turbo extension tool for upholstery. DO READ ALL the instructions so you know how to properly use it. Don't assume! The tools are ill placed with the placement and storage of the electrical cord (always falling off). The telescope for the hose to attachments doesn't lock properly and always ALWAYS pushing back in. I don't have an issue with pet hair on the roller getting stuck, but I do with human hair and any amount of length to trash. The spot where the hose connects to the canister is constantly getting clogged because it is small and narrow, needs to be wider. Pay CLOSE attention when taking the filter out of the canister and putting it back; there is a reason it is meticulously marked. The alignment must be perfect or it won't go back together properly; this is the same for everything on the vacuum. Hard to push when vacuuming (hence one of the reasons I said to read instructions carefully)? You have to provide some air to release the amount of suction, so it moves easier with the little knob on the left; by the way, it moves also on its own.feltermail

Within 1 minute of its' first use this model #2475 Pet Hair Eraser Turbo had its' brush roll stop spinning before a small 10×10 foot area was complete. The belt assembly is centre mounted so debris from both sides of the brush roll collects towards its' centralized belt motor which sits open with nothing to protect it from debris. This results in it being the furthest thing from the "tangle free" unit it is advertised as. Removal of the head screws holding the bottom cover in place is quite easy so I was able to see what was causing the jam (see picture attached). The manufacturer claims the unit can accept hair length of 4-8 inches. The longest of the hairs in this pictures is 3 inches, so the job in question should have been well within the manufacturer's guidelines. Upon reassembling the base the unit promptly got jammed a second time. After once again removing the clog I decided to give it a different task, cleaning hardwood. This unit has a key feature for those with hardwood floors, its' brush can turn on/off, saving your hardwood from being scratched by the roller. Sadly there is very little suction (see video attached). I found without the brush roll spinning the machine picks up essentially nothing. The last major feature this unit is its' heavily marked "pet hair eraser" attachments. The Pet Turbo Eraser" is nothing more than the same "turbo brush" or "handi-mate" that has been commonplace on vacuum's since the 1950's. The "two in one" pet brush is a traditional fabric brush as is the crevice tool. There is nothing fundamentally different with these attachments than what is industry standard from most vacuum suppliers. I've had Bissell units before, the last being the significantly cheaper "Clearview Alergen Lift-Off Pet Upright Vaccuum." It lasted 2 years before dying a few weeks after its warranty expired precipitating the purchase of this Turbo model. All in all a poor vacuum. Don't buy this.Jimmy

This vacuum is light weight and easy to use EXCEPT the on button is just above the button that opens the dirt container . Every time I vacuum, by accident, I open the dirt container and dirt goes everywhere! Its a mess! This happened to a couple people who tried to help me as well. What a horrible design error!!! Plus the dirt container is very small and needs to be emptied often…unless you vacuum with it open!! I purchased it because my health is failing and I needed something lightweight and easy to use.. Also the main opening in the floor portion totally plugs and the entire bottom piece needs to be taken apart and you need a bottle brush or a something long enough to push the plug of dust or whatever out of the elbow (which you can straighten). Its not difficult, but annoying and messy as well. I would never recommend this vacuum to anyone, its too much work and too much money for the horrible design. I would send it back, but its been way too long.pattysev

I love Shark products. I have been waiting for the TSV and for this vac to be back in stock. I purchased rose gold, blends well with a neutral palate. I still use my original upright Shark vacuum purchased from QVC (10 years) which is a beast at cleaning my tile, wood and carpet floors. I use a robot vac for 1/3 of my floors that are not heavily traveled. The top of the line name brand R- robo vact does a ok job, but it takes a long time and I needed a stick/handheld vac which I could use for small jobs in the kitchen, sunroom and run it over high traffic areas daily. It is quick and picks up well. It has a swivel head and lies down to get back and under furniture. The battery life last and I have never had trouble having is run out. This device is not a replacement for a quality upright vacuum. Nothing is. This vac is for small jobs, daily floor maintenance and I love it. You are able to buy a replacement battery from Shark if needed and I love that too. So many stick vacs end their battery life and you cant easily replace the battery. Not the case here, so this device will last a long time. The hand vac is handy (HaHa) for crevasse's, corners, and I have used the pet tool on my sofa and it does a great job with dog fur. The filter needs to be changed sometimes during a job based on how much stuff it has vacuumed up. I have not cleaned it yet, the manufacturer says to clean the filter monthly. Recommend this vacuum to help maintain clean floors especially in high traffic area and recommend it for any busy household.medicinewoman

I have had this for about a month now and I do have some things to say about it. First off, the pros: Very east to use and set up. I can't tell you how nice it is to just pick this up and use it WITHOUT having to plug it in. Just pick it up and go. I love how east it is to take the top part off for when I have to get under areas the vaccum can't. I love how easy it is to empty the vacuum out. Simply press a button and release the dirt. No dust flying everywhere. Cons- The battery life is atrocious. I can't vacuum my 1200 sq home all the way without it dying. It is very annoying when you are all set on cleaning and getting it done quick and then to have the battery die and wait an hour or more before it charges back up. The dust area is very small. Some people may love this, because the don't want dust flying everywhere, and I love that to, however, the area is so small that after just a little vacuuming, the vacuum suck is really bad and you have to dump the dust. The last thing is, the add ons for the hand part of the vacuum does not connect to the body of the vacuum, so you have to hold them in your hand, pocket or walk over to the charging station and grab it. Minor annoyance but felt like it needed to be said. Overall, a great vacuum for small areas and little cleanups for everyday use, not great for a big clean day.HugeMunchkin

I was looking for a new cordless vacuum. My sister got a notification for this vacuum on a good deal from facebook. The cordless one I had was a cheap one that only lasted about a year and the battery was supposed to last 30 min but was down to about 5 min run time. When I saw the run time of 60 min this help make my decision too. I have been using this now for about a week. I am amazed. The first day it was delivered I immediately got it out and charged it. I had just vacuumed the house so figured it wouldn’t be that dirty. I have 3 cats so I regularly vacuum, sweep daily. WOW! I couldn’t believe how much dirt, dust bunnies and cat hair this thing picked up!!!! I was feeling a bit disgusted thinking my house was clean especially since I had just vacuumed. I’m finding every opportunity to vacuum just to be amazed each time! I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It comes with several attachments.Would highly recommend!Cynthia

First of all, this is he best looking vacuum I have ever seen. Yes, not very important, but it so satisfying to look at, especially when you are forced to do it frequently. When it comes to practical side, it is all good (in my experience). The battery charge is enough for me to vacuum 1200 sq ft, which is all I need. The suction power can not be compared to deep cleaning, but is plenty for weekly cleaning. Love how lightweight it is! As a woman, I appreciate not hauling around a big vacuum. Overall, all my vacuum requirements are met and I love using it.Jason

I have been looking for something to use in between deep cleans. We have three dogs, two of which are long hair, and the hair gets out of control. But I didn't want to lug out my big vacuum cleaner every day. This was the perfect answer.I've been using it for about a month now. I love that it is light weight and cleans just as well as my large vacuum cleaner. Even on dog hair!! I was surprised at how it was able to get into tight areas, where my big vacuum cleaner can't! I have never run out of charge and I vacuum daily anywhere from 15-30 minutes! Lastly, I love the variable suction! This allows me to vacuum all of my throw rugs without the rugs being pulled up into the vacuum cleaner. My house has never stayed so clean!Krystine

I bought this to clean up kitty litter my cat tracks everywhere. I had been using a Dirt Devil (similar small vacuum) but as not pleased with its performance. So far, I prefer this one. But be real – this is a "toy" vacuum, meant only for light sweep ups. This one was easy to put together, its light weight, and works fine with small messes.anniedancer50

This little guy is super awesome and makes clean up super fast and easy, just what I was looking for as with having osteoarthritis I can't always sweep my wood floors, this even vacuums small rugs in the bathroom that are thick and shaggy. I am super happy. Only issue is the head rolls around while using I guess to get every direction but it's easy to maneuver.ramgar17

Not a carpet vac but it does clean bare floors and scatter rugs. Doesn't suck the rugs up like a really powerful vac does. No brush roll but nothing for long hair to get tangled in, either. More powerful than a cordless vac and the cord is long enough.margaretw465
