Terrible vacuum. I don’t have any kids or pets at home, so a vacuum should last me a long time. This is the THIRD Dirt Devil vacuum I’ve had in two years. The belt doesn’t stay on. If you lift it the wrong way, or accidentally bump it on the wall or stairs, it pops off. Sometimes 3 or 4 times in one session. AND… every single time you have to remove 6 screws to put it back on. This vacuum has made me so angry that I’ve made up new cuss words. There’s only so many, and the frustration this causes me requires many more! The opening where the dust canister meets the hose gets clogged (I don’t have pets) so just regular dust is too much for it! Then, it just stops sucking. Well, it definitely sucks, but not the junk on my carpet/hardwood floors. I will never buy another Dirt Devil vacuum again. They shouldn’t fall apart, or stop working properly so quickly. This should have lasted YEARS. It lasted months, and when you only need to vacuum only a couple times a week, and that’s too much to ask of it, it’s garbage. Save the frustration and buy literally anything else. Heck, a lint roller from the dollar store would have been better.Momma

Performance: The Power Max Pet handles surface-level pet hair and debris with ease, but it struggles with anything that is deep in the carpet fibers. The effectiveness might depend on the length of your carpet, but mine is on the medium to short end and it still struggles to pick up anything wedged between the fibers. With that said, since it only performs well for light, surface-level cleaning, I wouldn't recommend this vacuum for deep cleaning, especially if you have long/thick carpet. Another aspect about operating this vacuum that I don't like is that it's quite loud. Features: The quick-release wand, "turboclaw" pet tool, and 2-in-1 combo tool are great for my couches and stairs. I've used them on multiple occasions and appreciate how they help clean hard-to-reach areas and crevices. My cat likes to lay on my couches, and the pet tool has helped limit the hair that tends to remain, especially when she's shedding a lot. This vacuum is okay for the meantime since my other vacuum died. We’ll be moving soon so it will definitely get replaced. I’m a mom of 4 kids (not including a man child and two big dogs). The only time I can really clean is once all the kiddos are in bed. This vacuum is super loud. Luckily, my babies sleep with white noise so they can’t hear it but I’m sure everyone else can including the neighbors. It’s so loud that I thought something was wrong with it the first time I turned it on lol. On the second use, it already got clogged so I don’t have very many high hopes for this vacuum. On the bright side, the nozzle lifts out of the actual vacuum like my old Shark which I like. Unfortunately that is about the only thing I like on this vacuum. I definitely wouldn’t buy again or recommend (unless you need a vacuum and it’s on sale)Ehhh

First, the positive: Initially, this was a great purchase. Powerful and lasts for long enough for most jobs, and that's still the case after 3 years. Now the negative: Since about 6 months ago, when starting use after it's been on charge for easily sufficient time to fully charge, it cuts out within about 20 seconds, plug it in for 30 seconds, it works for 20 seconds, plug it in for 30 seconds, it works for 20 seconds, plug in again and it then usually works for some 6 minutes on full power. This is simply a defective unit as the battery is clearly still holding the charge. Wouldn't rush to buy a Dyson again.RobS53

We had a precious model DC34 which served us well until the motor died. We also have a V10 and a Miele plug in for the bigger jobs, and wanted to replace the hand held This gets regular light use .Despite emptying after every use and washing the filter it started pulsing.My wife and I have just spent a quite few hours cleaning the machine.the filter was totally clogged inside and more importantly the interior, inside the shiny perforated cylindrical right up to the cyclones was full of debris /clogged . Dyson , can you put an official video up how to clean it please . The old Hand held DC34 was a simpler and effective design and never clogged up like this one .Padraic

Bought this to do small pickups after a sweep of the floor, and to clean the car. It's proven handy when doing a bit of DIY around the house, where you can immediately pickup any small debris left from drilling etc. For very quick jobs it's good, but the "standard" power mode is a bit of a joke as it can barely pick up dust let-alone bigger objects like spilled cereal and a bit of dirt. Max power has some decent suction and, with the motorised tool, makes short work of cleaning rugs and carpets, but this only last for around 6 minutes, so again is only good for quick jobs. Like other reviewers, I also had the intermittent power issue, but after following the support video step by step, it started working again – I had cleaned everything else before following the steps, but didn't know about the easy to remove and clean filter. Generally, I find it quite easy to clean and put back together, actually much easier than the dyson cylinder vac (where I have to pull the bin apart to get out the hair). I am a bit torn on this machine, I do like a dyson, and I end up using the handheld on average twice a day, but it could just be a bit better. Given that it is a similar price to the cylinder vac, I was expecting a bit more. A killer feature would be the ability to run it while plugged in – I know this defeats the purpose of the "cordless" handheld, but running out of power when you only have a couple of minutes to go is quite infuriating. This Kenmore vacuum is a piece of Junk. I would give it zero stars but that is not an option. We had a Kenmore vacuum that was awesome for 20 years before it finally died. We thought we could buy the Kenmore BC4026 as a replacement. Wrong. The vacuum has been redesigned with none of the utility of our previous vacuum. The BC4026 is bulky and heavy making it difficult to get in tight to reach places. The end of the wand has a huge locking mechanism for attachments, which makes it impossible to vacuum along baseboards. I used our old Kenmore to vacuum the car interior, but the BC4026's handle is huge which makes it cumbersome to reach tight car interior spaces. Also, the hose swivel that attaches to the vacuum is not the L-shaped fitting shown on the box, so it does not swivel and keep a low profile like it should. This make maneuvering and storage of the vacuum difficult. They have plastic fittings on the BC4026's telescoping wand that make it difficult to extend. The old design was much better. Our old Kenmore vacuum was smaller and more streamlined with the same vacuum power making it more functional and a better design than the BC4026. Bottom line is that the BC4026 was not designed for its intended purpose of being a household vacuum.Michael

Overall this is a decent canister vacuum but the motorized vacuum head is of an ackward design. In order to vacuum more than a foot under furniture, you have to get down on your knees and move the motorized head in arcs left and right; the joint at which it attaches to the control handle prevents it from moving straight ahead without tilting up so that the agitator and suction end no longer makes contact with the carpet. If you move it to the left, the head may detach due to a poorly designed release lever on the left side; designed to make it easy to remove with your foot but making vacuuming under a bed a long and difficult process to get full coverage. I found myself having to reach repeatedly under the bed to retrieve the disconnected head. I was able to modify that release lever slightly by tightening the screw that attaches it but it is still an arduous task to vacuum under a bed; which was the main reason we bought a canister vacuum! You have to sweep in arcs and make sure you get coverage. This would be difficult for someone who has trouble laying down on their knees, pitching themselves forward and moving the wand back and forth in arcs. On the plus side, the "pet" motorized head is great for vacuuming carpeted stairs; no pet required to make good use of it.Jeffrey

After a short time of use, I was left slightly unimpressed by this vacuum. I own a similar vacuum by a different manufacturer and there are many features it has, that I wish this Samsung Jet vacuum had, such as a telescoping wand, a spare battery, a stand-alone charging stand, and a bottom emptying dust canister. What I loved the most about this vacuum was how extremely lightweight it is, the suction power, and the low profile vacuum head. I was very disappointed with the battery life of this vacuum, and I also found the pet hair tool (mini motorized tool) to be a mostly useless, battery draining tool. The low profile vacuum head and its powerful suction makes for an excellent vacuum on non-carpeted floors and it picks up pet hair really well. Unfortunately, the tiny wheels on the vacuum head made it difficult to vacuum carpet, which is disappointing for my household since it's a mixture of hardwood and carpet. (It just didn’t glide smoothly across carpet, especially at the higher suction settings.) Additionally, while the low profile vacuum head allows for vacuuming of tight spaces, it really limits the debris size that can be vacuumed up. There are three power levels to vacuum at, low, mid, and max. The mid level does ok but I definitely preferred running the vacuum on the max setting. Unfortunately running at the max significantly reduced the runtime of the vacuum to about 7 minutes, and with only one battery included, this means you're out of luck until it recharges. I did like using the vacuum to reach high spots around the house that tend to collect dust and cobwebs. The light weight of the vacuum and the extension crevice tool made it easy to get to those hard to reach areas without having to pull out a step stool. This is where the lightness of the vacuum really shined, as I was able to go around the entire house vacuuming corners and vents without my arm ever getting tired from holding the vacuum up in the air. Overall, after several days of use, I feel that the performance of this vacuum is just ok / average, especially compared to others on the market. There is definitely room for improvement. The Samsung Jet 60 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum is really lightweight and easy to use with only one hand. It comes with lots of accessories making it very versatile. All of the attachments have a button-click system making it very easy to attach or unattach the different accessories on the fly, so there’s no delay in your cleaning. The vacuum has adjustable suction power and decent suction even on lowest setting, but has even more power when you need it. This vacuum is absolutely great for cleaning those hard to reach places both high and low such as corners, under furniture, air vents, ceiling fans, and window blinds. The Jet 60 is convenient for vacuuming your car. For me, the greatest application for the Jet 60 is vacuuming the stairs. Not having to drag a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs is very nice. The product package states that the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. But when I use it on lowest power setting, I get about 24 minutes before the battery gives out. On full suction power, I only get around 6 minutes of charge. The battery charges quite slowly. After a small job of just a few minutes it takes around half an hour to recharge fully and after a job that depletes the battery completely it takes several hours to recharge fully. This means that it’s really not useful for a whole house cleaning, for that you probably need a corded vacuum. But if you had a small apartment or dorm room it might work fine. Otherwise, it’s mainly useful for spot cleaning and small cleanup jobs like vacuuming the stairs or your car. The dust collection bin is a reasonable size given the battery life, you are likely to run down the battery before the bin is full. The bin consists of 3 parts, one of which is a HEPA filter, and is easy to detach, empty, and clean by rinsing with water. There is a jet of air that comes out of both sides of the vacuum. I mention it because I have experienced these jets blowing dust up into the air while cleaning in especially dusty areas or when vacuuming near loose papers, like on a desk, the papers can get blown around. Overall, the Samsun Jet 60 works quite well, but my biggest complaint is the lack of battery life. I’ve owned other cordless vacuums and getting around 24 minutes of charge time is actually pretty good in comparison.Mkru

Samsung really knocked it out of the park with this little guy. Between my wife and I, we actually enjoy vacuuming. We've even had competitions to see who can clean the most before the battery runs down! It's substantially more than I expected for the size of the battery, you can get a few rooms lightly soiled carpeted rooms in! Not just using it at the lowest speed either! (I'm not sure where Samsung gets the "up to 40mins" number, but I think you'd have to be not using any powered attachments, and at the lowest setting to get close to that, caveat aside, it lasts enough for a quick clean on an average house floor or more!) I also was not expecting it would actually pick up much more than an older hand vacuum that happens to have a long wand/sweeper attachment. It actually functions as a "main" vacuum if you're a frequent cleaner, as it handles deeper messes in a carpet that I was not expecting it to even come close to pulling up all the way. (dog and people hair plus some tracked in dirt/sand that was stepped in, took a few passes, but still managed) It's also not excessively loud, my infant daughter is most intrigued by it and watches us intently, whereas she was frightened/we had to put some hearing protecting on her if we wanted to use our "big" corded vacuum. The ONLY downside I have to this vacuum is the charging/mounting unit, which is why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. Some folks do not want to mount a vacuum and just want it hidden in a closet until use, with a battery charger in the corner maybe out of the way. (The charger mount is a neat idea IF you plan on mounting, since you can charge the battery by itself or leave it in the vacuum and charge through the vacuum without removing the battery)GlennT

With our dog and our new baby all over the floor, we were getting much more worried about fur everywhere. I have a very good vacuum and hand vac already, but the vacuum is heavy and cumbersome and my back is not built for vacuuming the floor with a hand vac. This vacuum was a perfect addition to our home because it is light weight and portable, like the love child of the two vacuums we already had. It is also quiet, so I can vacuum the baby's arena everyday while she naps without waking her up. I feel silly since this in addition to so many other vacuums, but I didn't have the energy to pull out the big one on a daily basis, especially trying to get under furniture and plugging it into different outlets to reach the whole house. My Bissell is not as powerful, but I use it daily so the fur doesn't accumulate and it is better for our lifestyle. And since it has the hand vac attachment, I could have bought just this one instead of my previous two. Oops! Highly recommend, would buy again in a heartbeat. I greeted the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum with curious skepticism. Having used several vacuums in the past I knew the benefits and drawbacks of corded and cordless vacuums. I tried a Eureka cordless vacuum in the past and the battery took over 12 hours to charge for just 15-20 minutes of vacuuming power, with the suction power being extremely light. I also had a cordless vacuum by Puweike which constantly fell down because I didn't mount the stand against the wall as I had mostly dry wall in my place. I prefer cordless vacuums because even though the corded vacuums owned by Hoover and Oreck offer more power, they are a pain to move from room to room due to having to constantly disconnect and reconnect the cord. The Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum addressed all of these concerns and offered some unexpected surprises. This vacuum took less than one minute to assemble with only two parts to put together. I only had to charge the battery for four hours until it was ready to use. Upon charging it, I noticed the vacuum stands upright, so there is no need to add any mounted stand to the wall as it can be stored anywhere. I also love that I could turn on the brush roll on carpet and off on the hardwood to prevent scratching. The suction is extremely powerful to pick up even the smallest crumbs and I couldn't believe how easy it is to maneuver with the handle folding to get under the sofa. There is a huge bonus to this vacuum as well with the detachable middle which becomes a handheld vacuum for sofas and chairs. Another bonus is the brush and crevice tool for corners and upholstery. The dirt bin is so easy to empty and put back in the vacuum as well. I would recommend the Bissell ReadyClean Cordless Vacuum to all my friends and family. This lightweight cordless vacuum is exactly what I needed. I have a good sized 1 bedroom apartment that I share with a cat. A few rooms have area rugs and the rest is all vinyl flooring. I am constantly fighting a battle against cat hair, litter particles, and dust. And losing, until now. This is a dream on my vinyl floors and low pile rugs. I have a large thick pile rug in the living room that this does not work so well on. The suction makes it hard to use when going against the grain of the rug so I use it everywhere else and get the old vac out for that one spot. It’s what I intended to do anyway so I didn’t take off a star. I think it’s swivel makes maneuverability fantastic. The battery works great, assembly was quick and super easy, it’s small and sits upright in a corner charging. It came with three handy attachments for with using the hand vac. Okay so I read the reviews and got nervous, but I’m here to be honest with you. A lot of the buyers expected this to be a Dyson and if you’re expecting that then no this isn’t for you. I got this vacuum because ours broke 3 days before Christmas and I wanted something cheap to hold us over in between paychecks as we are having people over. We have a house with all hardwood and linoleum floors, a messy two year old, a big hairy dog, and a hard working man who constantly forgets to take his boots off at the door. Could this be our main vacuum? Heck no! It cleans small visible messes and wasn’t very great for dog hair or fabric surfaces but it was good for the kitchen crumbs and chunks of dirt from his boots. So here we go Pros: – small lightweight – cleans small visible messes – inexpensive – not very durable so don’t be rough Cons: – not great for dog hair or Christmas tree needles – cord isn’t very long – no where to put extra pieces – not great on carpet So let’s recap. I like this stick vacuum, it's definitely bare bones, but it does a better than good job picking up dirt and dust. I only use it on hardwood floors, so cannot speak to the job it would do on carpet or rugs. I take 2 stars off because the connection of the canister that collects the dirt/dust does not properly seat into the motor section, so at times will spontaneously disconnect. There's a button that should pop out and secure it, but mine only pops out halfway. Also, the stick connection is tight and difficult to maneuver, so I usually just leave it in, making it awkward to disengage and empty the canister. Same with the floor attachment. If it were even slightly better made, I would recommend it more highly, of course it is inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.BB&B Customer

I LOVE my Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum cleaner! I vacuum my house at least daily due to having one big dog and 2 cats that all seem to shed. I usually end up purchasing a new vacuum every year. I have owed so many vacuums over the years and I have never bought the same one twice. I think I have found my forever brand and model with the Hoover Total Home Pet bagless vacuum! I love how powerful this vacuum is! After one vacuum, I was amazed at how much hair was in the canister! I love that the vacuum is lightweight since I have to carry it to three different floors in my home. I like the different settings for both the carpet and the hardwood as my home has both types of flooring. The suction on this vacuum is so powerful, you will be amazed! The tools that came with this vacuum are awesome! The quick release cleaning wand is perfect to clean those high areas and the dusting brush is extremely helpful with cleaning the blinds, curtains and ceiling fans. My favorite attachment tool though is the pet turbo tool! This tool is so easy to use and gets all the hair off my couches and steps! Thank you Hoover for making such a powerful vacuum cleaner! The overall feel of this vacuum cleaner would best be described as cheap. The plastic used for the housing is flimsy and the handle itself feels unsecure. The dirt collection canister is difficult to release due to the manufacture glue holding the flap in place. The brush attachment stopped working within 10 minutes of use and when it does run the attachment provides poor cleaning power. Overall I am not satisfied with the vacuum and I have begun my return of the item. I purchased this and a Hoover carpet cleaner and I am just as displeased with the cleaner.Bill

I've had this vacuum for a b little over a year as a spare for upstairs. I don't use it that often and it had worked fine for what I needed. Then it shut off the other day while using it. I discovered hair clogs in the hose. Seriously disappointed since this is specifically for households with pets. I cleared the clogs, cleaned the brushroll and tried again. There was very little suction and it still turned off after a few minutes of use. I took out the filters & made sure they were clean. I was actually surprised at how clean they were. Tested it again this morning and there is still no suction. It gets hot and shuts off. Not sure if I should spend the money to get it services or just throw it away. I don't remember if I registered it for the warranty and there doesn't seem to be a way to check the website.Candace

Like most folks these days I did some research before making this purchase. To be honest, there are so many robo vacuums both name brand named and unbrandes. This model is unique in that it both mops amd vacuums. Few actully do both. The price, comparitively speaking, is great compared to those that do leas amd cost twice as much. I am impressed with the job it does. Far above what i was hoping for. The mopping is amazing as well. The battery even lasts almost twice as long as advertised. I cannot think of a single negative attribute with this model. Im very pleased and will buy another when the time comes.MattMcG

I loved how this valcume picked up. Wasn't impressed with the mop option. But I ended up returning it because the charger/ charging port started not working all the time. The return process has been horrible. First I had to wait for them to email me back, then was offered a discount if I used warranty and now its going to be 10 to 13 days to get my refund. If Wal-Mart is going to sale items on their page please back the product by allowing returns directly through you.laura

This vacuum works very well. In a house full of girls, the hair doesn't tangle around the brush like it did with our Dyson. Amazing! We feared we'd have to buy a new vacuum when a piece of wire got caught and severed the brush roll, but the wonderful customer service representative at Bissell took care of us and is sending a replacement part. I have a German Shepherd who is very floofy. I narrowed down my choices between the Bissell CleanView® Rewind Pet Vacuum Cleaner ad the Dyson Animal II. I have had 2 Dysons before. The feature that made me decide on the Bissell is that it has an adjustment dial for 5 different brush heights so whatever you are vacuuming can be done effortlessly with just the right amount of suction regardless of the surface – tile, this rug, p[lush carpet etc. I have tile, carpets and rugs. The other strong selling point was the included upholstery attachment, which works like a dream on dog hair. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the length of the electrical cord. It's not very long so I have to unplug it and plug in at a different area of my larger rooms. Other than that I love the CleanView® Rewind Pet Vacuum Cleaner ! #sweepstakesTracy

I waited to write this review because I wanted to use this vacuum a few times before I reviewed it. I like this vacuum. I like the ease of the cord being automatically rewound, the color, the great suction power, the tools, and the ease of the container being emptied, and the ease of having to put it together, which was very simple. The reason for the 4 stars…only because I couldn't find an area on this vacuum to store the triangular shaped tool…I just lay it close to the storage area with the vacuum. I like the pet hair removal tools, too. This vacuum does a real good job on getting all the debri and cat hair up from the rugs and the furniture. I'll take it easy with this vacuum. Only because most parts seem to be of a less weight of plastic material. My last vacuum was a Hoover, which had a firmer material it was made of. It lasted me quite a long time. Just until the pedal that switches it on and off snapped off and broke…lol. I was a little rough with that one. It could handle it over the years. But, with this one, I'll take more care in handling and not scratching it up. I want to keep it nice as it looks right now….thank you Fingerhut & Bissell.Hope it last as long as the Hoover. I am very tall (6ft) and I have a ton of back issues. The handle is a good height I do not have to hunch over, I love the lay flat option to get under the kitchen chairs and TV stand. The swivel on the steering is awesome,I really do love love love this vacuum. I've had it for just over a year, holds a charge very well, the circle light indicator is a great reminder when I put it back in. I use this vacuum on average 4-5 x per week. I pull it out for just about anything ever a quick sweep to catch dust bunnies. I've used this on thick high carpet in a fully carpeted 1bd apartment and now I use it in a 2bd room hardwood home w/ area rugs. I also have a small chihuahua with shot hair. I also make soap so often I have soap shavings everywhere. This can handle just about anything even my long hair fall out and it's easy to clean.99BarSoaps

Love this cordless Ram. I’ve had my present one for approximately 3-4 years. Wanted to have a backup. Great to keep upstairs so that you don’t have to drag the heavy vacuum up and down. Or great in a ranch style home. Goes from wood to tile to carpet very well. For thick plush carpeting, you will get an arm workout as it picks up primarily on the pull back. Love that there isn’t any wire to trip over. Charge lasts throughout my vacuuming. Then it re-charges pretty quickly. Definitely recommend!Shoshie

Only had it about a month but love it! A little drag on thicker pile rugs but since I am 75, someone younger may not really notice. So easy to charge and seems to be holding charge well. I lift it up on chair to empty dirt bin so cleaning it is easy. Love the slider to help clean filter. Bought an extra filter so original can dry well but haven't had to use it yet. My daughter has THE STICK that costs almost twice as much as my new Bissell and I really prefer mine. And I don't have to keep pushing on power like with her stick. And I don't like holding the weight of the stick. The weight of my bissell is on floor not in my hand.Then as an added bonus I have the headlamps. I was a little skeptical about this product, but it completely blew my mind. Not only is it very lightweight (which may be a pro or con for some), but the suction on the vacuum is great. I have hard wooden floors, so regardless of how often I clean there's always dust or hair the next day. The vacuum worked so great to get every little piece. The attachment is also great for tiny spaces and corners. Highly recommend.Jackie

This is the perfect little vacuum and is a great value given the price. It picks up pet hair quickly and with ease. I really wish it were cordless, but you can't beat the price on this! I appreciate how the sound isn't excessively loud and I was able to just use it right out of the box. One thing I would like to note is that the filter is a little tricky and there are no small brushes that come with it. Again, given the affordable price of this vacuum cleaner, I think this is fair. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum to someone who isn't looking to spend too much on a vacuum cleaner but doesn't want to compromise quality!Sam

I love this vacuum so much I want to marry it! I am owned by 3 furkids, 2 of which have long, silky fur and the third who sheds constantly. This little, lightweight machine gets the fur from the floors and carpets! It works much better than my fabulously expensive monster that rhymes with "Tyson". It's easy to maneuver and store. The cord is just the right length for my house and it's easy to empty the dust cup and reattach it. Great product, as are all the Bissells I have! Five stars!Ahmijoy

I own a Miele which is good for hard floors and needed a vacuum for the carpets on top. I made the mistake of buying based on my prior experience with Eureka. This doesn't work on carpeting. It is basically a hardwood floor sweeper that was rebranded as a vacuum. In addition, the suction from the opening on the handle pinched the skin my hand while I was using it and left a bruise. I stopped using it and regret the purchase.Laney

This is my fourth one of these Vacuums . I love them , I clean for a living and these are easy to take with , lightweight , great suction just love this Vacuum. I bought the WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Pet Bagless vaccuum a few weeks before Christmas because my current vaccuum seemed to be losing steam. I hate to say it, but my 6 year old vaccuum of the same size still can way outperform this one. This vaccuum has no suction on bare floors and tends to just throw all the dust and dirt around instead of picking it up. I vaccuumed with this one, then brought out the old one to clean up the mess. The attachment works great – although it just beats the fabric to death and it the vaccuum performs okay on carpet. I will be contacting Hoover directly to return the item since you cannot return it to the store.Wheelbarrow38

I have short pile carpet and tile floors, the vacuum works OK on tile but not on any carpet no matter how high you set it, right out of the box I turned it on and it started smoking and smelling like burning rubber, the belt was pinched when it was assembled, called service they sent me a belt it took 7 days. now I have to replace the belt every other week because if I don't the brush will not work. Had this Vacuum for three months, it does not work as well as my old vac that is 7 years oldMike

I purchased this vacuum brand new, on August 25, 2021. It's November 12, 2021 and it's been used 5-6 times, as we had the vacuum a couple weeks before we moved in to our new home. First two uses were great, then after that it just stopped picking up pet hair. I've inspected it at the request of Chat Support and nothing is wrong with it, no belt issue, nothing. Brush roll is cleaned after every use, as well as the filter and canister. I'm being asked to take it in for "service or replacement," but why would I want the same vacuum again if it doesn't even pick up pet hair after the first two uses?? Customer Support is a joke. We are a family of 6 with two cats. Got it running like every second day since Christmas and it has made some improvement to my emotion already! It can actually do a very good job on both carpet and hard flooring. It does get lost in the house a little bit (we named it "Dory") or repeat in some places if you have long narrow hallway like our place, but as long as you keep the cords and loose bits tucked away, it would happily doing its own thing without you minding it so much. It may take longer than other more expensive models that can "map" your house but I would just use a normal vacuum cleaner if I want to get it done straightaway. I started using this vacuuming robotic device two weeks ago. Upon receiving the package we where eager to open it up and try it out and I have to say it has entirely proven itself to be worthy of our excitement! I am a stay at home mother of two young children, a three year old and a newborn, we have dogs and we live in a rural area and I’m married to a man with big muddy work boots to track through the house. So as you can imagine this vacuum puts in the working hours and I have little time on my hands to sweep multiple times every day so I get a break ! We have even gave our vacuum a pet name “shes” like part of the family. My three year old eagerly asks when we can turn “C” on so she can watch her clean. I run her once a day on the second floor in our bedrooms which is carpeted, and multiple times a day on our first floor which is hardwood on spot clean function, and then at night I turn her on to do a deeper clean of the first floor after we go to bed. It has truly been a lifesaver bringing this vacuum into our daily routine! Usually I would sweep the hardwood several times a day, and vacuum the carpet once or twice a week. Then at night I would sweep up while my husband tucked our children into bed and read them stories. Now I get to hit a button and enjoy that bonding time with my family because after cleaning it returns itself right to docking station to charge! On to some positive things. There is WiFi capabilities so you can control it by a App, or I can control it by Alexa! Also included is a physical remote in case you don’t have another device handy, or you can control it by the touch buttons on top of the vacuum. Includes several preset cleaning settings, can alter directions with remote or app, and when it goes to run into larger items it dense their presence and changes it’s been course. The vac has little spinning brushes on each side to pull dust and hairs into the center and then a rolling brush in the middle to sweep it all inside the canister! It has multiple vac suction settings and automatically switches between them depending on the floor it is running on and how badly the debris is. Or you can manually change the suction with the remote or on the Eufy home app. I like using the remote functions to direct the vacuum directly to messy situations to get them out of underfoot. Overall the vacuum runs very efficiently, it does have a short battery life but more than enough to clean my 2000 sqft home. The canister is easy to empty and the vacuum seems to pick up everything, even the smaller dust particles that are not visible to the human eye. It runs fairly quiet and doesn’t disturb my sleeping baby unless it beeps. Which is a little annoying.But it’s able to get over all the trimming in between our rooms and I’ve had a few occasions where it has gotten stuck under a chair or she sucked up our floor length drapes. Our beloved "roboboy"…where to begin. On on hand, he picks up a lot of dust. I'm always amazed when I clean his bin out how much dust he found since the last time I cleaned him. So it's working in that sense. Our floors are cleaner with him running about 3x a week. There's just quite a lot of downsides to consider if you've never had a little robot friend and want one. We've got a rented apartment with hardwood floors, and started noticing over time that more and more marks, scuffs, sometimes chips were appearing on the floors in places we didn't notice before. I check on roboboy and it doesn't look like he's scratching the floor, but it's really the only thing we can think of that leaves circular shaped scratches. My guess is some debree or something is getting stuck on his wheel and hurting the floors. It's this reason particularly that made me decide that if we ever buy our own place without carpet, roboboy wont be coming with us to our new house. Another thing to consider about this model: roboboy is SO stupid. Like, laughably stupid. With seemingly a magnet towards anything at all that will get him stuck. He wanders around bouncing into things to clean. There's very little logic about it. He'll go over the same areas multiple times, missing others, maybe to pick them up when his next job starts another day. In order for this process to really work, you need to keep NOTHING on the floors that can trip him up. Zero cords, zero wires hanging down on the backside of your tv behind the console, no floor lamps or fans with rounded or small bases. No grates on the floor for heat or AC. Roboboy WILL find them, WILL make loud noises as he tries to roll over them AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN until he gives up and beeps and sends a ping cry for help to your phone. I think he gets stuck at least once every trip, sometimes he just gets stuck, we fix, then he's stuck again within a minute. I try to move everything I can think of up and out of his way, but doing that every time he cleans is more annoying than just vacuuming myself. It's really unfortunate he can't actually 'see' what's around and label things safe or not safe to vacuum near. The blocking tape he comes with does work, but it's unsightly to have that stuck to the floor around all these objects. It does work for some larger areas or keeping it just under a thin rug. So, all in all, he's kind of a helpful robot friend, but also it feels overall like a bit of a letdown from a truly futuristic product. I would probably not recommend it to a family member or friend unfortunately.Michael

Super quick, So much easier than getting the broom, sweeping and hoping to get it all with the dustpan. It helps keep my floors so much cleaner. I love that I don't have to deal with a vacuum cord either. I actually keep my floors clean every day with this than if I was sweeping or using a traditional vacuum. I also love the attachments, it makes getting to harder to reach places easier. The clip/button to empty is a little hard to press at first, I felt like I was breaking it, but I confirmed with the directions I was emptying appropriately (I was) so I kept pushing and it worked. It also gets easier to empty the more you use it. I can't even tell that I have an older version for the price I paid. My mom has a newer version and this one stands up to it the same. I think the main difference I notice is emptying the canister but I'll take that for the price. I've also used this to vacuum my couch since we have a dog and cat who like to use that as their bed and it works like a charm to get the pet fur. I will keep this forever!tess.goeller

So for some reason I used to be against the expensive Dyson products. I even used an older corded vacuum that made me feel that I was correct in my assumption that they were way over priced. But after buying a Hoover corded, where it quickly failed with an irreplaceable battery. Followed that with a cheap corded version, ok but a pain with a cord. And then a cheap knockoff of the Dyson style that has very little suction, and now I broke down and bought a Dyson to try it because the price was right. First off these ARE better than the cheaper knock-offs. A lot more suction with these. And all the parts fit together better and smoother connecting and disconnecting. Coming from an engineering background I immediately noticed how so many little things had been done right. I am impressed. I hope it holds up. If I had bought a Dyson in the first place I could have purchased the most expensive version for what I spent on all the others.aruba4me2

I have had my Dyson v7 for about two weeks now, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The size / weight / no cord / maneuverability is perfect for getting to every spot that my old vacuum could not reach. I can now vacuum under the bed, on the bookcases, the stairs, the HVAC air return, etc with ease – and it also works great in the car! The suction is good, and having a simple bag-less canister is great. The only issue I have is not with the machine, but with my choice of which Dyson version to purchase. My Dyson v7 works exactly (actually better than) as advertised, but sometimes 30 minutes of run time (which is what is advertised for the v7) is a little shy of what I need. This is not the fault of the vacuum, but I should have purchased a Dyson rated for 60 minutes (the v10 or v11.) Luckily the recharge cycle is not that long – so this is not too much of an issue. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recomend it to anyone who wants to make the task of vacuuming easier, faster, and more enjoyable.StevenS

I really like my Bissell rug cleaner but this CleanView Pet Slim Corded Vacuum, not so much. Don't like the way it doesn't stand up on it's own. The button to release the dirt cup is in an awkward spot. Don't like the dust cup because if you handle it the wrong way, the dirt falls out of a hole (which is where the dirt enters in the first place). The "head" is floppy. It doesn't stay up (like a Shark) where you have to push down on it. There is really no place to grab and carry it comfortably, especially for a short person (which I am). I am on the lookout for a new stick vacuum. I should have sent this one back but it's too late now.Nancy

So I’ve had this vacuum over a year now and am pretty happy with it. Here’s why: 1. Works wonderfully on carpet and hardwood 2. Does NOT get tangled with hair 3. Is SUPER easy to empty (nothing has gotten stuck in the compartment for over a year) 4. The cord is really long and let’s me vacuum my whole (small) apartment For me, these are the most important things in a vacuum. Plus, it easily lies flat to get under basically any piece of furniture, which is super helpful, and it’s not too heavy. So, considering the price point, I think this is a great buy. Some downsides: 1. It doesn’t stand on its own; it has to lean against something, and that gets annoying 2. The attachments aren’t easy to get on and off; the process is simple, but you have to pull inordinately hard to remove, so that’s also annoying However, these two downsides don’t bother me that much, especially since the vacuum does other stuff so we’ll. If you’re looking in this price bracket, then I’d highly recommend!Danielle

We have dogs and cats with bare floors so hair is a big issue in our home. I purchased this vac as a replacement for cordless vacs that I am constantly having to buy. They quickly lose their suction and battery power so this time i went with a corded vac. I own a kirby, I love it for my deep down cleaning but is so cumbersome for my daily (yes daily) vac of my home. The cord is long enough that i only need to use 2 outlets to vac 4 bdrms 2 baths kitchen and 2 living areas. Plenty long enough! Love the cord length! Suction is great. The edge pulls debri (I mean dirt, dust and lottsa hair) from the edges of my baseboards and from under furniture edges. This vac has 2 settings 1-suction only, 2-suction with brush roll. I first assumed being that I have bare floors, that i can vac w/ just the suction. However when it was powered on I had lifted the vac head then switched to brush roll while it was in mid air, POOF, all sorts of hair went flying everywhere. Apparently static caused hair to stick to the "undercarriage" of the vac head. I now vac my bare floors w/ brush roll going. The vac head sits quite close to the floor so when I vac my exterior door mats and rugs some get sucked/sealed to vac head making it difficult to vac. Perhaps maybe wheel adjustment to keep this from happening. I now just broom those that i cant vac. Pitty. The tube does not extend or get shorter. Its kind of a hassle when im trying to vac in tighter spaces. Another thing that I love about this vac is the it lays completely flat completely parallel to the floor w/o the vac head lifting up like most vacs do. So the reach under furniture like beds, desks and tables goes as far as up to the dirt canister. Another issue, when i must remove the vac head to use tube only, the hook to where the cord gets wrapped around gets in the way of me wanting to reach tight places. Why cant cords get wrapped at the top portion of vac not all the way down its shaft. Canister is larger, big plus!sylvia

This machine is very well built, I think it was released in 2021 and you can tell it’s the same high quality you would get from a metal vacuum costing $100’s more. This is not very heavy to push around and it even works on hard floors without damaging them. The suction is very strong. At 1st I thought the piece connecting the suction to the dust tank looked poorly made with a air gap, but it was my mistake, this thing is perfectly built to capture all dust without releasing it back into the air. I also thought the rewind cord feature was poorly made at 1st being plastic, but it’s pressure powered and with the right pressure from your foot on the knob it powerfully snatches the cord right in every time. 12ft height ceiling cleaning hose for filter vacuuming and stuff is the future. This is the vacuum you want for around $100 and i think this is the 2021 model.Gamer7

This is the worst vacuum I’ve ever owned and I’ve only had it a week! To use the hose-you disconnect it with a button-and dirt you’ve already cleaned out falls on the floor. To clean the canister-you have to put your hand up into it and continually shake the thing to get the dirt and stuff to fall down so it can be thrown away-all the whole dirt is getting on you and your floor. You have to completely pull all of the cord out when you use it-or it overheats! Sometimes you only need a foot of cord. The cord rewind button is flimsy and cheap and the rewind doesn’t work by itself-I’d rather secure the cord myself than deal with this. If could give negative stars-I would! Very solid machine. I love the brush attachment, it really gets the dog hair out of the sofa well, even better if you approach stubborn areas from angles other than the typical far to near motion. I’ve been frustrated in the past with how cheaply vacuums can be made and I didn’t want another one like that. I had a very nice cleaner years ago I bought at Home Depot. It broke, and then I went to tile and wood flooring, so I just didn’t use a vacuum for a long time. I’m so glad I tried this because I’m not sure but it seems exactly like the one that I had years ago, with a different color. Suction is great. I no longer need to dread spider webs and cleaning furniture and the like the old way….nice to have this decent tool back.Jese
