Very powerful, light and maneuverable, the brush is driven by a separate motor, seams like a great design, but the brush allows hair to get right into the Barrings!!! I removed and cleaned the brush after 2nd use, found that some pet and human hair had gotten into the Barring, melted the barring cap and housing. the third use the brush stopped before i was done as it was bound up. I only used it for the upstairs of my house. I'll call support to try to get another brush, but how long will the last? after years of well designed brushes, WHAT Happened? were they lasting too long?DAVID

My little dog sheds an unbelievable amount of fur. I use this throughout my home. The best things about this product are: 1) strong motor; 2) it's lightweight; 3) the attachment hose is long enough that the vacuum doesn't collapse when in use; 3) disassembling the unit to clean is very easy, assembling is also very easy. I bought a well-advertised competitive pet vacuum during the pandemic shutdown. It caused me nothing but grief. I don't have the strong hands of a 20-year old any longer, so I dreaded having to clean the canister. There were times I broke into tears of frustration because I just didn't have the strength to move the parts in the same directions. (I put that product up on the neighborhood website "for sale" section, reducing my purchase price by 2/3. Still no takers.) I need a clean house. I got this one to replace the one that gave out after 3 years of use (well only the roller quit working–no belt …). I'm a bit frustrated. Hard to push; brush stops rolling at certain levels even though I want it rolling at all except non carpet. awkward turn on and then step on for head. also the manual is skimpydebra

My only con (after owning a windtunnel) is the hose is too short. And I keep knocking my vacuum over when using it because of that fact. Otherwise I really enjoy how light weight it is. Great for everyday use; especially because my cats shed like crazy. Picks up all the dirt and dust.Christine

First, I don't know if this was a repackaged vacuum cleaner, the hose has a section that is partially collapsed, and there's a section of power cord that has a little bit of insulation missing. Small things I didn't feel worth sending the vacuum back. The only gripe I have is the roller brush cannot be turned off while dusting, but then if it had that feature you'd be paying more this this unit.James

It works great. We were upgrading our vacuum and saw youtube reviews of this model. For the price point this is hard to be beat. Would highly recommend it for someone with a ranch style home. It may be a tad heavy to go up stairs with for some people.Mark

I'm giving it only 4 stars because I have yet to test this vacuum for the very first time, my old one from Hoover which I bought back in 1993 just gave up! I thrust Hoover for their good reputation. I was attracted to its HushTone technology since I often find myself cleaning on very late hours of the day on my weekends. My only concern based on reviews is the wheels coming off and users having a hard time to keep them on in place, but after doing some comparisons I will take my chances and I hope I won't have to have the same issue with the wheels!Ricardo F.

Worked great…for two days. Did great working in a school, picking up what other vacuums(including a much vaunted ProForce) would not. However, it simply stopped and would not turn back on even after changing the bags. When the vacuum arrived, however, we noticed that it seemed it might have been dropped in shipping, but weren't sure. We returned it(definitely recommend using the app when doing this!!Hassle free!) To be certain, we ordered another one from a different retailer and the box seemed to be in better shape. Will update if machine does the same thing in a short time time again. Otherwise, it was impressive for the short time it worked. If it doesn't work, the next option is either a Miele or Sebo.Melanie

I bought this 6 months ago and tried to get used to it, but don’t like it at all. It is hard to push. I have it on the max setting and still harder to push on normal carpet. The attachments often fall off when in normal use. I had heard great things about simplicity, however, they had an older model. This newer one doesn’t compare. I have had this vacuum for about a year. I bought it because of the dog hair I contend with on a daily basis. It does an amazing job and the fact that it has a bag is a big plus. I always thought bagless was the way to go because of convenience, but this unit proves that thought was completely wrong. You won't be sorry if you buy this vacuum. Suction seems good but I have had this vacuum a week and it's driving me crazy bc I can't get the wand to stay in it's holder while I'm vacuuming .. if I bend to go under a desk or table the wand will fall out .. sure seems like this is a poor design… Why can't the wand fit more snug in it's holder so it doesn't fall out every 5 seconds? How much suction is it losing bc the fitting is soooo loose?? Surely I'm not the first person to have this issue?! Wish I could return this. 🙁PamC

I have had a Hoover Windtunnel since 2012 and love it. This vacuum is terrible. It has good suction but………When it is in the Upright position so you can use the attachments the roller brush does not shut off. It ruins your carpet! It actually was smelling like something was burning. I think the belt was slipping. Bad engineering to not have the roller brush shut off in the upright position. What kind of idiot would say yes to a design like this? Our Windtunnel shuts off in the upright position. Tried to call Hoover….was told they were closed on a Thursday, I Was told in a recording to go online which I did but chat said they were closed and to call them. PING PONG affect going on here. DUMB….. Then on Friday was on hold 2 hrs before it cut me off. Called back, pressed the prompt for a call back and never got one the entire day and still no call back. Today is Monday called again and again We are closed after going through all the prompts to wait for an agent. Went online to chat and actually got someone named Honey B who was a bit rude saying we are open, just busy. So there is a difference of being closed and saying busy hang on….. Then when I told about the problem we had I was told to talk to who makes our carpet. Pass the buck Hoover on poor engineering huh????. You should never have a vacuum that the brush spins and spins when it's in one place. This vacuum was made to use attachments so put the rollers into idle please while using them. You will wear out your carpet and wear out your vacuum belt. Hoover will try everything I'm sure to cover our damaged carpet….SO BUYER beware. FORGET this vacuum. Its junk. PLUS the dial to lift the vacuum head up really does nothing. It's a joke. And when emptying the canister, it fell off the hinges. Seriously, I will never recommend Hoover again. I grew up using Hoover products and have used them my entire adult life. I researched all brands/models before replacing our older Hoover. We decided on this vacuum due to having three cats and it's excellent reviews. The first time I vacuumed with it, I loved it. I actually still love it's vacuuming capabilities (after using it a month). The fault with this product lies in the fact that as soon as you turn on the vacuum, the brush turns at a very high speed (while vacuum is still in upright position) and the brush doesn't stop until you turn off the vacuum, regardless of floor setting or if you are using the upholstery/stair attachments. I've never had a vacuum like this before and being that it's specifically designed for pet owners, the fact that the brush turns when the upholstery attachments are in use baffles me. While trying to vacuum our couch the brush actually wore on our carpet and heated it to the point of melting after less than a minute. I tried manipulating the vacuum and leaning it back off the carpet while using the attachment but that is just way too much effort. We tried it on all floor settings including hard floor with the same results. Honestly, the brush shouldn't turn until the handle is released for vacuuming so I'm not exactly sure why it was made this way. I returned it thinking I had a faulty vacuum and exchanged it for the same model (it does vacuum really well), and the second vacuum did the same, so I must assume it's simply a design flaw. So if your pet's don't shed on furniture or stairs I recommend this model, otherwise It pains me to say that I don't recommend it.Cat mom of three

Well, it seems to do ok but there are some things that make me wonder why they were designed the way they were. The on switch should be up at the top of the handle instead of being a foot switch where the reclining lever used to be for something like 100 years of Hoover vacuums. To recline the handle now requires I reach around with my foot and step on the front of the machine while forcing the handle down. It's very awkward and silly to change a design that worked for a century. And the rug height adjustment is a little touchy. I set it around medium and started vacuuming a very low rug and didn't know the belt was slipping until I smelled rubber burning. Oops. Once I learned to dial the height properly the vacuum does a pretty good job of cleaning pet hair and dirt from carpet. I had been vacuuming with a shop vac and thought my rugs were fairly clean, but the Hoover with the spinning brushes managed to pull out a lot more dirt that I missed. Emptying the canister is straightforward. I take it outside and blow it with a leaf blower. I can't imagine getting it sufficiently clean any other way without using water. Overall it's a marvel of engineering that performs its job very well, but with a couple very obvious design blunders that renders it a bit awkward to use.Randal

Pros: Nice and light and portable. Does not tip over like the standard Henry. Adequate on carpets with no pile using brush facility. Cons: Suction is appalling. No use if you have to Hoover a lot of animal hair, just blows hair about and redeposits it elsewhere. Battery life poor, one full battery is not sufficient for the downstairs of a small two up two down. Takes about 3 hours to charge, which is a long time considering the battery life. Metal tubing comes apart mid vacuum, which is annoying. Regret buying.Gilly

LOVE Henry/Harry!!! Friendly little chap with a FEROCIOUS appetite. He's the vacuum we should have purchased YEARS ago, instead of all those bagless, horrifyingly expensive uprights, promising to be all we needed to keep our home clean and quickly proving they just weren't up to the job. One of the most amazing points about Harry is that he doesn't blow "wet dog" odours back out as he vacuums. Now the carpets not only look spotless again but the rooms smell fresh thanks to his charcoal filter. The electric lead is really long and the dust bag is massive so, all in all, no need to keep stopping to find another socket to plug in to, rarely having to fit a new dust bag and no stopping to pull dog hair out of his special "fur" attachment, because he just keeps going.AMAZING!!!We've fallen in love with Harry. Pros: Tube too long for me as I am short, but you can remove one piece of the metal tube to reduce length. British made. Previously had two small cheap (<£70) hepa 'Hoover' cylinder vacuums which funnily enough failed two months after warranty each time! Wanted new hoover to last much longer to be kinder to landfill (eco reasons) and it seems robust enough to last longer than 2-3 years, time will tell.There must be a reason why cleaners and builders routinely choose this brand!Great suction including large bits of kiddie-crumbs. Very long lead mitigates extra weight on stairs and less time changing plug sockets. Cons: Heavier than last vacuum (it'd be hard not to be, to be fair, as last ones were light). A bit cumbersome on stairs but long lead helps with that.L

I thought the vacume was great until using it on my main floor rug (shaggy rug). I was disappointed to see there was no self adjustment which almost makes the vacuume useless when not easily versatile to different kinds of carpet and rugs. I had high hopes for this vacume. I am a long time ex housekeeper but pride myself on my home and cleaning tools. Perhaps there can be some add on created to the vacume because I would hate to return it. I love the suction power and durability it has. I would like to use it to fullest abilities that it could achieve. This little vacuum is exactly what I've been looking for! It's narrow enough to vacuum between chair legs, yet wide enough to get the whole house done in good time. I love how the beater bar turns on and off with the flip of a switch so that when I go from carpet to tile, I can just turn off the brushes. The beater bar also turns off automatically when it's locked into the standing position so that when you use the wand for stairs, baseboards, and corners the brushes aren't spinning in place and wearing out. Vacuuming stairs is a breeze! I've never had a vacuum that made this job easy, so I'm very pleased! Now, my staircase gets vacuumed with every vacuuming. I used to leave that task for special days when company came (true confessions) 🙂 Emptying the canister is super simple too! Everything about this vacuum is simple but effective. I was wanting to replace my old vacuum and seen this. It is actually better then I thought it would be, has to switches on it, one to turn on the vacuum and the other to turn on and off the spinning of the brush, which is perfect for hardwood floor or laminate. The 2 filters and brush are both removable and washable. I seen a review of someone saying that you cannot get a rubber belt part for this vacuum. I looked at the belt took a picture of the numbers on it and found the belts online no problem. I also have a dirt devil newer canister (no power head) which is great that i use for my carsBeamrgurl

I bought the WindTunnel 2 Whole House Rewind Pet Bagless vaccuum a few weeks before Christmas because my current vaccuum seemed to be losing steam. I hate to say it, but my 6 year old vaccuum of the same size still can way outperform this one. This vaccuum has no suction on bare floors and tends to just throw all the dust and dirt around instead of picking it up. I vaccuumed with this one, then brought out the old one to clean up the mess. The attachment works great – although it just beats the fabric to death and it the vaccuum performs okay on carpet. I have short pile carpet and tile floors, the vacuum works OK on tile but not on any carpet no matter how high you set it, right out of the box I turned it on and it started smoking and smelling like burning rubber, the belt was pinched when it was assembled, called service they sent me a belt it took 7 days. now I have to replace the belt every other week because if I don't the brush will not work. Had this Vacuum for three months, it does not work as well as my old vac that is 7 years oldMike

I purchased this vacuum brand new, on August 25, 2021. It's November 12, 2021 and it's been used 5-6 times, as we had the vacuum a couple weeks before we moved in to our new home. First two uses were great, then after that it just stopped picking up pet hair. I've inspected it at the request of Chat Support and nothing is wrong with it, no belt issue, nothing. Brush roll is cleaned after every use, as well as the filter and canister. I'm being asked to take it in for "service or replacement," but why would I want the same vacuum again if it doesn't even pick up pet hair after the first two uses?? Customer Support is a joke. I purchased the Shark Navigator® Anti-Allergen Upright Vacuum about a month ago and I absolutely love it! I love how easy it was to assemble and how powerful it is. I have 2 cats and a dog so my house has to be vacuumed at least 4 times a week because of the animal hair. My daughter also has allergies so I love the anti-allergen and that it picks up every speck of dust, hair, and dirt. It feels like it is self propelled and glides so easily across all carpet types. There's really no effort needed to push this thing! I also love how it leaves the deep lines in the carpet because it shows me how clean it is really getting and how deep it picks up. It's the perfect size and I have a family of 4 with 3 pets. The swivel steering makes it so easy to maneuver around any spot and the crevice tools are perfect for hard to reach areas. The dusting brush works beautifully on furniture to remove pet hair and I feel better knowing that it captures and traps 99.9% of dust and allergens. I absolutely love this vacuum and Shark is a well known and trusted brand. This is by far my favorite vacuum ever…hands down!Cvanderpool37

Once assembled, we started using it and was amazed at the power and amount of suction it has. WE only have one fully carpeted room, but I swear, even though I had vacuumed it before, I couldn't believe the amount of dust and dirt came up. The rest of the house has throw and area rugs that also got a good going over, and again, even though they had been vacuumed with our previous vacuum, we got a lot up from them. I have a feeling that we will have a lot less allergies come spring with using this vacuum. I highly recommend this vacuum.Beth

The vacuum comes packaged in four pieces that do require some light assembly. I'm a little instruction challenged but it took me no more than about 10 minutes to complete and quick instructions are on the inside flap of the box so I did not even have to open the owner's guide to get started. A screwdriver or small coin is needed for tightening one screw. Everything else was basically plug and quick connect. Let me first say this thing is amazingly powerful! I cannot believe how much dirt, dust, and pet hair that came up out of my carpet from just the first use. I don't know if I am just that poor of a housekeeper or if my previous vacuum was just that bad but it was both shocking and amazing. With just a single pass, a tornado of fur and dirt was suddenly seen swirling around inside the collection chamber. I could not believe that much pet hair was trapped inside my carpet and this Shark NV130 picked it right up. It was not a problem though as this vacuum is designed with a quick release, quick empty canister I readily dumped when finished. This vacuum worked equally well on my linoleum, hardwoods, and tile floors. Walking on them afterwards, I could feel how smooth they had become, meaning I could easily tell how the vacuum had removed the fine particles and dirt that had been tracked inside the house. I especially like that it gets right up to the edge of baseboards without the need to use extra cleaning tools, although on board are a crevice tool and dusting brush. And yes!!! Finally a vacuum with a sufficient long cord to avoid frequently having to unplug and plug just to vacuum one modest size room. Since I live in a home with multiple flooring (carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood) and it is nice to go seamlessly from room to room with just a toggle of the power switch located at the top of the vacuum near the handle without having to keep chasing down an electrical outlet to replug. This means I can spend more time vacuuming and less time unplugging and moving the cord from room to room. I could actually vacuum my entire downstairs (roughly 950 sq. ft) by moving the cord only once. The vacuum is on the heavier side. That is not ideal for carrying up and down stairs (as I live in a two-story home). But since I do live in a two story house, I have to say it balances nicely on stairs due to its slim profile without toppling over. Also, due to canister design, it doesn't reach very far under low seated furniture. The extra powerful suction makes it well worth it though and while vacuuming a small rug I could feel it drastically pulling me across to the other side. Other things I love about this Shark Navigator are the attractive maroon color, the swivel handle for easy maneuvering which actually makes it fun to "drive", and the suction release slide lever for those times you vacuum something unintended. This machine is very well built, I think it was released in 2021 and you can tell it’s the same high quality you would get from a metal vacuum costing $100’s more. This is not very heavy to push around and it even works on hard floors without damaging them. The suction is very strong. At 1st I thought the piece connecting the suction to the dust tank looked poorly made with a air gap, but it was my mistake, this thing is perfectly built to capture all dust without releasing it back into the air. I also thought the rewind cord feature was poorly made at 1st being plastic, but it’s pressure powered and with the right pressure from your foot on the knob it powerfully snatches the cord right in every time. 12ft height ceiling cleaning hose for filter vacuuming and stuff is the future. This is the vacuum you want for around $100 and i think this is the 2021 model.Gamer7

This is the worst vacuum I’ve ever owned and I’ve only had it a week! To use the hose-you disconnect it with a button-and dirt you’ve already cleaned out falls on the floor. To clean the canister-you have to put your hand up into it and continually shake the thing to get the dirt and stuff to fall down so it can be thrown away-all the whole dirt is getting on you and your floor. You have to completely pull all of the cord out when you use it-or it overheats! Sometimes you only need a foot of cord. The cord rewind button is flimsy and cheap and the rewind doesn’t work by itself-I’d rather secure the cord myself than deal with this. If could give negative stars-I would! Very solid machine. I love the brush attachment, it really gets the dog hair out of the sofa well, even better if you approach stubborn areas from angles other than the typical far to near motion. I’ve been frustrated in the past with how cheaply vacuums can be made and I didn’t want another one like that. I had a very nice cleaner years ago I bought at Home Depot. It broke, and then I went to tile and wood flooring, so I just didn’t use a vacuum for a long time. I’m so glad I tried this because I’m not sure but it seems exactly like the one that I had years ago, with a different color. Suction is great. I no longer need to dread spider webs and cleaning furniture and the like the old way….nice to have this decent tool back.Jese

I wrote a review two weeks ago. Not posted which is sad. I loved Oreck-actually still do… My first vacuum lasted over 20 years. This new one is less than three years old and the handle has broken twice. It is a redesign and it is not strong. My local Oreck store has over a dozen vacuums waiting for new handles and they are aware of this weakness. I hope that you correct this design or I will never buy another Oreck, which is a shame because I think it's a great vacuum. I'm posting my pictures again to show you the broken handle and the "rigged" handle that we have to make work until the replacement comes in. We bought an Oreck upright a few years ago and it works well but it's a little heavy for me since I have congestive heart disease. The two problems are it doesn't fit under my beds and another woman used it and went over the cord and sliced it. I taped the cord but I am constantly watching we're the cord is as I vacuum so I don't go over the cord with the vacuum. It looks like the cord can't be replaced. I really like the way it cleans but I am afraid of the cord and not getting under the beds. I have to use my old vacuum to go under the beds.Momo

I have always loved my Oreck vacuum cleaners! My new Elevate Command model is disappointing. Unlike my previous model ( no longer available) it does not have the swivel head. I cannot push it under my bed like my last model. It eats my rugs and other items! My last model would immediately shut off if a rug or item got caught in it. This one shuts off eventually but leaves damage. I still appreciate the light weight of the vacuum and the power it has to suck up dirt. But I feel like I downgraded instead of upgraded this time.Nellekay

We plan to return, after a couple uses by me and my cleaning lady. There are too many settings to keep adjusting between for hard wood floor, soft carpet and a variety of area rugs. The main vacuum does not work well on hard wood floors, so need to use alternate head which has a brush around the edges. The brush catches our pet hair (which you then need to manually pull off) so I'm not even sure the vaccuum is actually doing most of the work, versus the brush bristles holding the fur. None of the combinations of settings work well on our loomed wool rug from Ethan Allen. It is just a standard rug, nothing crazy.KMZ

I have two small spaniels that shed so I literally vacuum top to bottom (3300 sq. feet) at least 5 times a week. I used to go through a vacuum yearly or at best every other year. After a lot of frustration trying to find a vacuum that would last I learned about the Miele brand. I have had my canister vacuum for FIVE years now and it works as well as the first day I bought it. Miele is top of the line wonderful! Some people have told me they are good for at least 20 years…if that's true what I thought was an expensive price tag will become very inexpensive. The suction is outstanding, they have a wide selection of cleaning tools which I love. The vacuum bag itself keeps microscopic dust and allergens trapped inside so even my husband who suffers from asthma has noticed the difference. Worth every dollar I spent!sheila.m

Ordered this vacuum as a gift for a work anniversary for second floor. So happy I did. My Dyson has been stored ever since and barely used. Best vacuum and still going 5 years later for two very shedding and toy playing dogs. It's lightweight for toting up and down stairs. Love the auto detection between carpet and bare floor without having to worry about changing that. Has the on/off brushroll option for (tile and wood floors). And the swivel is great. Of course I have to clean it and pick out shreaded toy stuffing now and then from the brushroll but thats any vacuum I've had with animals and not checking the clumps of things before I vacuum.Charrisse

Vacuum UH72400 still works, but has a handle problem ~ hang on to receipt and make copies because receipts fade. Hoover High Performance Swivel Upright Vacuum Cleaner UH74200 Handle/Wand combo won't lock back into place. Item was bought after Aug. 2019 has a 5 year warranty, but without a readable receipt will not honor ~ even though my box has a label "to Walmart's from TTI Floor Care" in Georgia. So I said I'll fix it myself, but hoover rep can't help there either ~ the parts are obsolete / no available parts. So I'm stuck with a $180 vacuum that I can't get parts for… Handle/Wand and locking system doesn't work and can't use the vacuum because the handle keep coming out. So what can be done now? Not buying Hoover ever again, because they can't make it right with their customers no receipt and no parts to fix it yourself.S

I love this vacuum! Let me start off with why I do love it. It’s works amazingly on both hardwood floors and carpet. The transition between the two is seamless. I like the option to have the brushroll moving or not while I am vacuuming between the two surfaces, I don’t have to turn it off or lock it back in upright position to turn the brushroll on or off. It’s light so I can easily take it up and downstairs no problem. The ability to swivel the vacuum around corners is the reason why I have bought this twice. My first one lasted five or six years, but after being used for house remodel cleanup over the years it was time for a new one. I don’t have any high pile rugs so I honestly am not sure how it would do on them since it does not have an adjustment to lift the brushroll so not to ruin the carpet but for me I do like the low profile design so I am able to get under some furniture. I am able to completely vacuum under my sons full size bed from each side without the vacuum lifting up. Very easy to empty. The hose attachment is easy to use but this is where my one complaint is, the upholstery tool slides onto the crevice tool and doesn’t stay where it should if enough pressure is applied while cleaning. This same issue was the on the brand new vacuum and the one I bought 5 or 6 years ago. I still love this vacuum and the attachments for the hose are fine but could be made better.Bmcdonough31

This sweeeper is lightweight and has a lot of suction. It is so much easier to get this out to sweep my kitchen floor than getting out our regular vacuum. It is easy to empty the dirt collector. I absolutely love it. The reason I bought one was because my sister had one and loved it so I wanted to try it. It was definitely a good purchase.Marylin

I purchased this product 8 months ago. It worked great initially. Now the hose connecting the stick to the floor cleaner has cracked and has gotten holes in it. I cannot clean my carpets with it anymore. I’ve contacted the company and am awaiting a response on a solution.Beth

I LOVE this vacuum!!! So easy to use and take apart and clean. The suction is GREAT!! I have 2 cats and 1 dog and this vacuum works wonders!! I especially love the long cord so I only have to move the cord 2 times to get through the house. Also, it is very easy to undo the head piece from the stick part to get to small places. Having purchased two Dyson handhelds in the past, I thought I would give Hoover a try this time around (as I do own a pull around canister Hoover that I've had since 2007 and its been awesome) . Unfortunately, I am left disappointed. If you want a vacuum that won't suck up the smallest of crumbs but rather push them around and shoot them out in every direction causing you more work, clogs up with little to no dust particles constantly, and then get zero help or back up from their customer support, then this is the vacuum for you! Because the vacuum couldn't be returned to store once it was used, I contacted the company directly. They proceeded to copy and paste their "de-clogging" instructions, and then ignored the rest of my emails. I am capable of reading a manual and this didn't help me what-so-ever. I cannot believe they actually advertise this as a PET model, because I am using it for much less dirty jobs than pet hair and/or litter, etc. and it's essentially useless. The only good thing I have found about it is the dual batteries and the battery life. However, that isn't very helpful alone when the vacuum doesn't do its job properly. Unfortunately due to the lack of support from Hoover itself, I will not be purchasing any more of their products or recommending to anyone else.kmitschke

I am quite impressed with my new vacuum. Every detail of it seems well thought out which means a lot in this day and age. It really seems to be built to last a long time. All the electronic parts are protected. I really appreciate the brushless "digital" motor. Every little detail is engineered like the battery and charger LED animations syncing together. It came with a silent 4-amp fast charger that charges fully in one hour. This is even including that it waits to charge the battery until it is the optimal temp so it doesn't degrade faster. Each battery and the whole vacuum have a three year limited warranty. The batteries have built-in smart BMS's that communicate with the vacuum and charger to make sure the cells are within their optimal ranges. I noticed the wheels are multi-piece with rubber tread unlike other vacuums I've seen. The whole vacuum is quite simple and intuitive. The phone customer service was some of the best I've ever had. The packaging was recyclable, even the plastic bags. The regular mode seems to clean better than our old corded Shark vacuum and the boost mode is crazy and like suctions it to the carpet. It gets a whopping 9 minutes of run time on boost mode though. The brushroll head is like 3/4 the width of the Shark's so you have to do more lines. The brushroll motor stopped many times to cool down today while I was vacuuming our nasty apartment's carpet. I needed to swap batteries a few times. I charged the other battery while I was using the other. I got the second battery for free as a promotion and it's very needed. Being a cordless stick vacuum is really quite nice but while it can go all the way under couches the weight is located where your hand is which makes it feel a lot heavier than it is. The hours of online research I did was definitely worth it. It would've been a five-star review but Hoover/FedEx's communication on the payment and shipping was very non-existent. Did lots of research on many different brands/types of battery powered handheld vacuums for auto and coffee cart cleaning. I roast my own coffee, addicted to espresso daily and those things can be a bit messy at times. This vacuum makes very short/efficient work of cleaning everything I put it through. I could tell just by unboxing it that the build quality is outstanding just based on the feel of the materials used, let alone actually charging/using it. The system is very well thought out with every possible attachment needed for all sorts of mild/moderate cleaning jobs. Very compact to get into the most confined areas too. The filtration system is as efficient as advertised as it never loses suction and the actual filter stays spotless due to the design. Super easy to empty the filter container with no mess/inconvenience. Have seen a few complaints in reviews regarding the battery capacity and yes it does fade when being pushed on MAX cleaning, but it does a great/quick job nonetheless. People should understand you simply can't have MAX performance/capacity simultaneously… Both battery packs give good runtime for the use I put it through and charge in a reasonable amount of time and don't experience any sort of low self-discharge when sitting on a shelf unused for any realistic period of time. Nice to have the option to buy more packs as these age as we have had to toss other brands when the battery fades due to it NOT being user serviceable and just dies. Last point I will make is the awesome design of the powered brush roller as it works very well at various angles and being able to remove the brush roller for easy cleaning is ingenious. Most other brands require the debris to be cut/pulled off of that part due to terrible design.Thomas

If your looking for an infallible vacuum that has no bells or whistles, this is the one. Simple, powerful, gets the job done. I live with two kids a Lab, on a farm and it picks up everything. Everything. Heavy cord and vacuum are signs that this machine is powerful. You can not mistake this for a Dyson, or a Shark, both if which I purchased but did not last more than one year. Love this Vacuum. I will be buying another for upstairs, so that I do not have to drag this up and down.Selie

Great vacuum for quickly cleaning hard floors, blinds, upholstery, and trim. When I use it I find myself vacuuming other things as well since it is so convenient and powerful. The two attachments with bristles arrived with the bristles bent out of shape. Called Hoover and they sent replacements that also had bent out of shape bristles. Didn't bother trying a third time. Will have to put felt pad on edges of floor tool because I just noticed it is leaving black marks on the white trim. Wish wand attachment pieces could be used separately, sometimes the wand is too long to maneuver in tight spaces. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.CraftFish

This vacuum is powerful and easy to use in open areas. Very powerful suction. The long cord prevents constant stop and change outlets: I can almost vacuum my whole house without changing outlets. The attachment tools are a bit tricky; took a while to figure out how to get them on and off (no instructions in the manual on this) still don't know if I'm attaching them correctly but they are working. Quicker cleaning without a canister to drag around the room; stairwell is a breeze now. I can easily use the vacuum to dust the baseboards, cabinets, furniture and crown molding. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone with large open floor areas; not so much for small crowded rooms.REBECCA J.

I bought this item for my personal home use because of the greatly discounted price. When it arrived I found that the tools didn't fit the wand. The tools OD was smaller that the wand ID. I tried contacting the Hoover service department but was never able to get through, both on the phone and by email. I was able to fashion some sleeves for the tools so that they would fit the wand properly. The sleeves are simply metal tape wrapped around the flange. They attach securely and swivel as needed. Works fine for me since I just use the vacuum around the house. I only kept it because of the low price and the fact I don't use it that much. If I were using it on a daily basis, my fix wouldn't hold up and there would be the needed to reapply the tape, so I would have sent it back.Paul T.
