Best Vacuum To Clean Mattress (2024 Update)

We were really impressed with this little cleaner. My wife has allergies and it was definitely helpful to clean our mattress. The coolest feature is the built-in light that shows which areas are clean and which areas need more attention. It was a little difficult to clean the edges of the mattress (around curves, mattress cording). Otherwise, really easy to use. The instructions were also a little unclear about surfaces this can be used on. One section mentioned that it can be used on carpet but another mentioned it shouldn’t be used on floors. We’d like to use it on our carpeted stairs since it’s a lot lighter weight than our main vacuum but not sure about whether to do that yet. Overall, great little machine and looking forward to continuing to use it to help with allergies especially in sleeping areas.RaleighNCGuy

I'm a little confused because the name of this product is "Mattress and Furniture Vacuum Cleaner", but in the instruction booklet that comes with the vacuum it says "do not use on furniture". I tried it first on my mattress and was genuinely surprised at all the white stuff that it picked up and was stuck to the filter. I'm going to call that dust so as not to gross myself out, lol! I thought my mattress was pretty clean but this vacuum picked up a good bit of funk from it. The dirt cup and filter area are easy to access and quick & easy to clean. If you are thinking about buying this and using it as a general hand vacuum cleaner – don't. It's not going to be something that you can use as a regular hand vac. It's corded, first of all, but that's a good thing in this situation as that allows for powerful suction the entire time you're using it, no worries about the battery losing power. Second, there is no roller brush so it's not going to pick up much besides dust – I thought maybe I'd be able to use it on my dog beds (which are flat and look like tiny legless couches). It did suck up a good amount of dust and dirt from their beds but it just moved the dog hair around, it didn't suck any of that up at all. Which is fine, that's not what it's for. So for mattress cleaning I'm giving it 5 stars, it does a terrific job at that.DawnG578

I have just started to use this so this is what I'm seeing right now: The good news: This little machine came very carefully packed, to the point where it was a little difficult to retrieve it from its packaging. That was a good thing, an incident in shipping would have to be pretty heavy duty to damage it . It has the most detailed manual I've seen in a long time. The vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. I have only used it once so far and quickly, but it seems to do the job well! The bad news: The manual is so detailed that it's possible to end up a little confused. There are a few parts that seem to need a good bit of care, although that's probably pretty easy to deliver. Since the uses are limited to mattresses and upholstered furniture, people who have 1 or 2 beds and not much furniture might be wondering if they want to give up storage space for it, small as it is. In all, I think the little vacuum is a plus. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it seems to do a good job. I used it over a wraparound mattress cover that I would need help to take off and it still seemed to do well with what I gave it. Next step would be to get some help with that, do the mattresses and go to any upholstered furniture in the house.Emgie

Finding a cordless vacuum that cleans bare floors, carpets and rugs equally has been a definite challenge for us. I needed something extra powerful as we have pet hair, plus with beautiful Florida weather, I love having the doors open which means lots and lots of dust. It turns out that all I ever needed was this Samsung 75. It moves seamlessly from hardwood to carpet on the mid (lowest) setting. When see lots and lots of dirt, a simple press to max takes care of all of that dirt. I do find that the mid setting works best on carpet, because the suction is powerful enough to pick everything up (max is a bit more difficult to push because of the higher suction on the pile, but MY OH MY the carpet looksl like new once I do). It comes with TWO batteries, so I never have to worry about running out of power (a quick change & I'm ready to go again), one is always being powered while the other is being used. But, I never thought I'd need was the Clean Station. WOW, I have dust alleries and being able to have all of the dirt & dust sucked from the vacuum into the clean station with no dirt or dust heading back into the air has made my life so much better. For the first time in my life I don't get headaches from dust after cleaning. This is a great vacuum and it is completely replacing my full-size because of the power.zipporahs

Do not let the size fool you, this is a very powerful vacuum cleaner. The main vacuum and accessories have a high-quality feel to them. The plastics are attractive, and the metal accents add a wonderful finishing touch. The weight distribution is perfect. Many of the other cordless vacuums I have used were bulky, heavy, and simply uncomfortable to use. The Samsung Jet™ 75 Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum, on the other hand, feels like the developers were very selective in its component placement in order to make it feel as simple to operate as possible. It simply glides about your home, picking up debris as it goes. The fact that this vacuum can suck almost 1800 square feet on a single charge while tackling pet fur tumble weeds proves that it belongs in its own category. It's simple to empty the dust container in its own cleaning station is perfect. It is easy to use The positioning of the power button was one item that took some getting accustomed to. Many of these cordless vacuums have them in identical places, but this one took a little getting used to, but nothing major. The wall mount is great! My Samsung Jet 75 Complete Cordless Stick Vacuum is one of the best cordless vacuums I've had so far. Starting by the suction, it is stron for a cordless vacuum compared to many other. I was skeptical at first it the vacuum itslwf was going to be enough for my house. I recently remodeled my house and I now have ceramic flooring all over my house. I only have area rugs on theliving room and around the hall. Now with this vacuum I can easily clean all around my house with a full battery with no problem. Though if I do run out of battery I can easily switch to another full battery that came with the bundle. On ceramic flooring the vacuum can pick up everything easily and even fuss I don't see, but the vacuum picks up. On my area rugs it is a little more difficult for the vacuum to work on just because it gets stuck or shows error on the screen if the vacuum can't pick up on the carpet. When this happens I just turn off the vacuum and than immediately on and it starts working again. I also vacuum on the lowest setting on my rugs which I find it a way to stop from the vacuum getting stuck. Even though I have this problem, I find thay this cordless vacuum is much better than any other cordless vacuum. I often use the vacuum to get the dust under all the beds and hard to reach places. I am always amazed how much dust gets under all these places. The clean station is my favorite part, even though it is apart from the vacuum station, i absolutely love to use it after vacuuming and not getting any dust particles flying around my face. My kids specially love to see it work afyer I vacuum. This vacuum definitely works for my household and for my Family's needs. I definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.rosa147

Boy did I do My research on this Baby! As a user/owner I am being honest by saying There are a few issues with this Machine. No issue alone is Problematic, it CLEANS VERY WELL INDEED, however when there are 5 issues at once, it starts to ad up.The Bissell Cleaning Solutions are Exellant but Soo expensive(look for Generics). To clean a 3BD Home with Lounge/Dinning Stair case and Hallways will set you back between $100- 150 on Bissell Cleaning Solutions, I'm not kidding!!The 2 roller Brushes are Very Agressive compared to the suction, they literally rip the Carpet Fibres up in Chunks then block the Machine. The On/Off button is way down the side were you have to feel for it because You are standing to high trying to Juggle the Power cord and God knows what, it should on the top Driving handle. The water/Solution tank is far to small and the Water and Solution level marks are impossible to see. There is allot of Back and forth to the Bathroom tub to keep refilling and adding yet more Expensive Solutions while splashing water about. Don't even try and use it to clean your Matress(big Soggy mess). The cleaning attachments are OK, but it will take hours to clean Your Sofa and will hurt Your wrists (RSI) good job though. It is heavy and Combisome. The 2 roller Brushes don't disengage when you are using utility tools, so the hole Machine is blasting full bore all the time.It was fun at first, however the pipes kink, the Power cord keeps getting stuck under Machine, it keeps getting blockedITS A BIG JUGGLING ACT, and takes allot of Practice. This product is true to being lightweight and efficient. I just wish it came cordless, because the cord isn't long enough to have it reach further than about 14 feet. Happy to have an extra attachment for the hard-to-reach places. Also, it isn't too loud when it's on. I'd recommend if needing for a quick use or possibly for an interior car job. Ordered this bundle for such a great deal! Unfortunately, the item was delivered to the wrong address by FedEx. Totally not Hoover's fault. They re-shipped another bundle to me, and it worked out well the second time. I love these vacuums! They do a great job on our hardwoods and rugs and carpet. Our two year old loves to help vacuum too – that's how light the stick vacuum is! Being cordless is such a plus!!! Only wish that the batteries weren't so expensive, but that's not a huge deal. We purchased one extra battery just so both the handheld and stick have their own batteries. I will say that the handheld is far inferior to the stick, but it works for what we need (to do the stairs and our cars) – just have to go over the same areas multiple times, as the suction isn't stellar. I would recommend and purchase the stick vacuum again for sure… just probably not the handheld.Moon

I bought this cordless vac because I like any conveniences I can get when it comes to house work. I use my floor cleaners more often when cordless. I can glady skip wrapping/unwrapping, plugging/unplugging cords in and out of electrical outlets from room to room. I've been happy with this cordless since I got it last July (not quite one year old). It was an upgrade overall from what I had. However the hose got a hole in it not about 6-7 months in. Not from anything I could figure out. I duct taped it and after a second hole, I contacted the Manufacturer, since it's still within a 3 year warranty. They said the hose is not made anymore – already out of making the parts??? They will replace it — okay, — but I have to mail the whole vac back on my dime. They will pay for the shipment of the new unit. Which may be kinda fair, but it's too soon for this type of episode with a not quite a year old vacuum. Since the parts are not being made – there's no commitment to this product by the mfr. I did not buy at this store, but thought I would let someone know if considering — please don't do it.Chickee

I was going back and forth between this and the shark navigator cordless. They seemed pretty even on reviews. I mostly decided on this because it's was on sale on the Hoover website! I had to wait a little longer to get it then I would from other sites(about 5 days from the day I ordered it) but it was worth the price difference for sure. I was worried about it as I have 4 dogs. A great dane(high shedder short hair), a Mini Aussie( How shedder clumpy hair), a King Shepherd(high shedder clumpy long hair) and a Cheweenie(high shedder short hair. I also have a maine coon cat. So, I essentially have lots of hair everywhere, all the time. I do NOT know how this performs on carpers because I bought it for my wood floors( bathrooms(2), hallway, entryway, dining room, and kitchen.) So far it has worked great for me. I have had ZERO clog issues despite the amount of hair it has to pick up and I have been able to vacuum all the above mentioned rooms in one swoop without the battery going dead. It picks everything up easily. I actually accidentally sucked up a good size piece of paper today and really though it would cause my first clog, but atlas it didn't. So far this vacuum is performing perfectly for me. I think the only downside I can think of as of now is the fact that a replacement battery is 100$. However, there are off brand batteries other places that are compatible with this vacuum for half the price, and the reviews on them state that they actually work better than the original hoover battery… So, I will probably just go that route whenever I need a new battery. If you want a cordless for wood (or any non carpeted) floors, this one is definitely recommended. And it does hold up against that pet hair!Ameri5

My house is a 2217 square foot house and its floors are over 75% carpet which requires good vacuuming considering there are small children and a wide layout of rooms on both floors which necessitates a robot vacuum on each floor to ensure deep cleaning on carpets to prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt. This Robot Shark IQ has a high level of absorption leaving a great job in its wake. The ground floor has a large dining room, office, bathroom, laundry room, kitchen and hallway areas that require good vacuuming and I have noticed that even with all of that, it has mapped it out super well in just 3 cycles. , and has started off in a different direction each time, obviously looking to complete the map and is doing an excellent job so far. He has had no problem returning to his "mother ship" to unload when needed and picking up where he left off. Run time on most tile and carpet floors can be approximately 90 minutes, including 1 or 2 round trips to unload. After loading, it will come back out and pick up where it left off, just as you'd expect. On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the work is repeated in the same way with an impeccable finish due to its powerful suction level… it is a great appliance that saves us time and we can program it to clean without us being at home. My 3rd Shark Robot A few years ago I bought a Shark ION RV750 robovac on eBay and was blown away by what a good job it did, so I purchased a Shark R85 on the next Prime Day, but was disappointed as it seemed it wasn't an upgrade, if anything it performed a little worse (it was slightly taller so it didn't fit under as many items of furniture), but it still did an excellent job. So moving into a tri-level home, I knew I wanted to get one more, but was torn between getting another 750 (which I knew worked well – and it's still going strong to this day!) or if I wanted to splurge and get the IQ Self-Empty. The appeal of being able to map and then determine which rooms were to be vacuumed was a big appeal as I've got two teens and their rooms aren't always robovac friendly. I also really liked the idea of not having another robovac to empty daily. We have 3 cats and a dog – along with allergies, so daily vacuuming is a must – and it's always a full bin. I considered the Roomba i7+ and i9+, but figured that I'd already had such a good experience with Shark that I'd stick with what I know works, and works well. So I decided to give the IQ a try. I'm already blown away! It's exceeded my expectations and it hasn't even completed the mapping process yet. As always, set up was a breeze. It's only ran a few times, but I can already tell a difference between it and the 750 that was previously on the top floor. I have a Shark Apex vacuum and the carpets are closer to that level of clean than the ION 750 which is astounding. Unlike my other two robovacs, it sets out and vacuums row by row with an impressive amount of precision. It does, as expected, fail to get debris in compact corners (for example the 4 inches of wall between the dresser and the doorway). It's ability to navigate around items, but then remember exactly where it left off once it has gone around, cleaned and returns to that spot, is equally impressive. The precision in which it finds the dock and loads in unlike the other two robovacs, albeit, I don't give it the suggested space around the dock (all three versions do just fine docking even with minimal surrounding open space). When it self-empties, it is loud, but not any more so than how a normal household vacuum sounded about 20 years ago, and it only lasts for about a minute, if that. I love this little robovac so much that I could see myself replacing the other two older ones with this model in the next year or so. Let me be clear, emptying the bins daily isn't bad at all. It's that the only trash wide enough to easily ensure none of the dust or debris go into the air or on the surrounding ground is the kitchen trash – and that's assuming no one's loaded up the trash to almost being full, and while most of the time, I'll go dump the bins in large trash, if I'm running out the door or in the middle of something else, I do tend to just go to the nearest trash can – which makes a small mess (although much less messy than not having the floors clean at all!).Ashlie

We’ve owned other robot vacuums and it’s very apparent the difference in quality, performance and advanced features with this Shark IQ Robot. The vacuum is very thoroughly at cleaning every nook and cranny. It can transition easily from hardware floors to rugs. There are blocking strips that are included if you don’t want it to go in certain areas such as cords or fringe materials. It does a good job of getting out of a spot that it can get stuck in. I was very impressed that it would maneuver on and off the base of our bar stools. It will get under beds, sofas and tables as long as there is clearance. I would highly recommend downloading the Shark Clean app so the robot can map your house and you can control, monitor and schedule to have it automatically start cleaning or you can turn it off and it will return back to the charging dock. So cute! The best part is the self emptying function that will empty all the debris each time it returns to the base. The only negative feedback is that it is very loud when it performs the self emptying function, but at least you know that it is working. We don’t wear shoes in the house and like to vacuum every few days to pick up any dust and dirt which is very noticeable and enjoyable. This is well worth the price.saleetah

I am so disappointed with this product. Firstly no one informs you that the battery has a very limited life span – its performance will weaken after a couple of years. I have owned my Dyson V7 Motorhead for 3 years and am now lucky to get 10 minutes running time on high suction before it dies on me. Secondly I was told by the salesman that cleaning the filter just required rinsing the cloth tube under a tap after use. Not true! In order to get decent suction on carpets the metal cyclone filter has to be taken out and thoroughly cleaned, which is a difficult job considering the product's design does not allow for easy access. I have even resorted to hoovering out the cyclone filter with my Mr Henry which is a pretty ridiculous situation. James Dyson should hang his head in shame for making such an expensive and short lived product, which only adds to the landfill problem when trying to dispose of it.MrsB

The vacuum is so light to use by comparison to competitors. The suction is fantastic for a household with pets and kids. (kid=crumbs and pets=mud!) We do have a "cabled" vacuum for the main cleaning, but this Dyson is great for the daily "quick whizz over" and the quick clear up of crumbs/mud. If the budget allowed and in hindsight, I would have bought the product with the longer lifespan on full max (why would you not use max all the time!). This is because a quick whizz of the car (mud & crumbs again!) depletes the battery very quickly, and it is too much of a faff to bring out the corded vacuum… thus, only half a job! Also, when the nozzle adapter is used (for crevices), the Dyson loses some of the stability. It feels loose and you cant apply too much downward force/pressure. (If that makes sense.) It is also not my item, as friends have commented the same.DIYMUMKT

I bought my V7 as a refurbished machine from Dyson. It arrived and looking at it it looked brand new so was feeling pleased. Got it all set up. Noticed it was really quiet in operation… fantastic. I was falling in love with it. It was lightweight and was beginning to think I had made a wise choice. Then things started to go wrong. I noticed the beater bar wasn't rotating. I took the beater bar out of the head and realised the motor was turning but a part, I assuming it is called a drive dog or something was missing. Not to worry a premium product would have exemplary support mechanisms in place. Nope wrong there! I was quite happy to fit the missing part myself if Dyson would send it out. I thought I'd use the option of the WhatsApp messaging service to contact customer services. I sent photos and videos as requested but all I seemed to get was a generic response of "I can sort this out for you". Of course that never happened. I ended up phoning customer services who were very pleasant who suggested that "they could send a new beater head out….. BUT they were out of stock and would take 10 to 14 days to come in". So here we have a Dyson V7 raring to be used but would be potentially sitting in a cupboard for nigh on 3 weeks between ordering and getting the part so I could use it. Absolutely not acceptable. Would have been happy for the whole caboodle to be exchanged but apparently that wasn't possible. Dyson very kindly offered to refund my money and collect the faulty machine. Now what was I going to do??? Simples, I ordered a Samsung Jet 95. An absolutely superb machine. Slightly heavier than the V7, slightly louder in operation but it works perfectly. Most impressed. So a big thank you to Dyson for letting me down, though the poor experience of your customer service I was forced into the arms of a competitor. I felt duty bound to share my experience and to explain to other potential purchasers that Dyson are not all they are cracked up to be.DavidP

I really loved this vacuum with great features and a decent price point and it worked very well considering I have a dog that sheds a lot. Most of my flooring is hard surface and use(d) this primarily for doing the carpeted stairs, quick clean ups and under furniture. The hose on the power head tore a few months ago and I could not find a replacement for it, unless I purchased the entire power head which is almost as much as I paid for the whole vacuum. So, I used some Goop to glue the holes and it worked for a while but now so many segments are torn that the cannot be glued together anymore; still no replacement hose available. Disappointing.Scott

My husband and I are in our 80s with the usual arthritis and back problems. When we bought this vacuum we thought we had gone to Heaven early. It is so light and flexible and it gets under and around furniture so easily. The suction is terrific and emptying the canister is a snap. So we bought a second one for the other side of the house. The minute it arrived the first one would only run for less than a minute and then shut off. It was fully charged but still refused to work! I feel really let down by a product bearing the Eureka name. Eureka has been the name of choice for over 50 years in our household. Such a shame!Unhappy Senior

I JUST purchased this vacuum and am in love with it!! It worked incredibly!! I couldn't really believe… Like, finally, I just found the BEST for me vacuum. It's lightweight, it swivels, on high mode it kicked butt!! The extensions are so easy to put on/off… THERE IS NO CORD!! YAY!! I could probably say a whole lot more things that I love about this vacuum and the only thing I didn't love was how it doesn't stand up on it's own.. but no biggy, you can lean it somewhere, precariously.. Today I'm sad.. the battery lasted no time at all on the high mode, and having a dog, that was one of my the fav thing. on the medium mode, it's mediocre, seeing as I know what it CAN do.. I'm just recharging now, having to wait to do the last room of the house, the dogs room no doubt, and I'm going to need high mode.. it's just so disappointing I literally just got this thing yesterday, let it charge fully, and then I got to play around with it and all the extensions last night, cleaning my bedroom ceiling, the blinds, etc.. now on DAY 2 it lasted maybe 5 min on high mode.. and it was charged.. it takes a while to charge, don't even know if mine works? The bottom dot just flashes for ever, then after a while I look at it, and no lights are on so i disconnect the charger, put it back in, and nope still a blinking light… I'm so disappointed..Khrista

I bought this particular vacuum because I had used one at a friends's. I ordered mine on June 23rd and received it the next day! I was so excited! Three days later my friend called and said not to get the vacuum because her battery stopped charging and she had only had it for 4 months! Well, I kept mine thinking hers was a fluke but nope! After 4 1/2 months, my battery has stopped charging! I have tried to call the 1-800 number but it keeps saying "due to weather" they are closed and to call back. IF someone has any suggestions about what to do, please let me onow. I reallly liked this vacuum when it worked. Everything about was great….except now, the battery!Sad DRB in Florida

I've had many vacuums over the years and this is the worst. I extensively research items before I buy them to be sure they have the features I'm looking for, which is why I chose this product. If I could send it beck, I would. The dust cup disconnects from the handle regularly and already I've lost suction. It completely disconnects and falls apart with very little handling. It doesn't "prop up" on anything in my house like it says it should. Eureka is a good brand and I've had other stick vacs but this is awful.Jo

When I unpackaged my Eureka Rapid Clean pro, my first thought that it was too light weight and didnt look like it could handle much nor would the battery big long enough to make it around my house. I will say that I own a Kirby, Dyson, and no this Eureka so I have quite a bit to compare it to. Style wise it was similar to my Dyson V6 but not nearly as heavy. Super easy to assemble- I didnt even bother reading the instructions. I charged it up and took it around the house. Lucky for this review we are renovating our home so there is plenty of dust from hanging, texturing, and sanding drywall, 60 year old insulation fluff in and on everything and every corner and much more. I've been using my Dyson primarily before I received this just because its easier to grab- the Eureka Rapid Pro is MUCH lighter and just as easy to cart around. I LOVE that the head of the vacuum seems to sit really low to the ground where my other stick vacuum is a little higher and tends to grab things that are "too big" for it to handle and thus just shoot it out of the back- this Eureka is low enough that it doesnt really grab what it can't handle. I also love the extra wheels on the head allowing for REALLY nice range of motion.. and the LIGHT! Never thought a light on the head of a cordless vacuum would come in so handy but its life changing! I could SEE where the dust was under the bed and go where I needed and be done rather than just aimlessly moving it around and hoping I got what I needed to. Lastly- the battery life was wayyyy longer than my Dyson. I even used it- LET IT UNPLUGGED for a few days, used it again and left it unplugged again and used- that to me is amazing for a small stick vacuum. All in all- this is definitely a little machine with a big presence! Thank you!Anna

The cleaning ability is great as long as you’re on bare floor. The foot is cheap and gets stuck every time you try to vacuum a rug no matter the thickness. I wrote to customer service to buy a better quality foot and they were of absolutely no help. I saw on another review that they purchased a foot on Amazon that fit it so I guess I’ll go that route. Makes no sense to me why they wouldn’t improve the foot for their own product. In addition, the hose connection falls apart while vacuuming and that’s very frustrating having to reattach it over and over. Why not have it click on like most other hoses? Also I’m not a fan of the canister banging into everything and the cord seems to always wrapped around the canister. So frustrating. It’s also heavy and awkward to empty and clean the canister after use. This review will probably not be approved but I sure wish I’d have known of these issues and I definitely would have purchased a different vacuum as this clunker is sitting in a closet unusable and I having to use our old yucky one until I figure out a solution. At least they could tell me what size foot to buy elsewhere although at this point I’m pretty over it.GS

I Love it!! . I have bad sinus allergies, and wanted to buy the Rainbow machine serval years back, but too expensive! Just recently found this machine searching for the best vacuum to suit my needs. Couldnt believe my eyes when I ran across the Kalorik vacuum and watched the video on peoples reviews.and the price was just what I can afford!! Yesterday, for the first time I used it, and WOW!!! This machine cleaned amazingly! Plus! It has a powerful suction! The suction this machine has is a very big plus for me. Thank You who ever designed this machine with an affordable price!. With my and my daughter's allergies we had hoped that a water filtration vacuum would help us be less symptomatic in our own home. Unfortunately, most water filtration vacuums are prohibitively expensive. We tried the Kalorik because it got really good reviews as being an affordable option. Sadly, it only works on very low-pile carpets and hard surfaces, but we have brand new high-pile carpets. All of the cleaning heads just get stuck on the carpet and can't be moved, so you end up lifting the toolhead, placing it far away from you, and struggling to pull it towards you as you clean, and the whole process is absurdly difficult. And although it definitely filtered a TON of stuff that the vacuum missed, it was simply too difficult to clean with and unwieldy overall. And for hard surfaces, we find the Tineco and other wet/dry vacuums are actually almost as effective, and are certainly significantly easier to use and clean up a greater variety of messes with more ease. There is no way to get the thin layer of dust off hardwood floors with any of the larger tools that come with the vacuum. The pet hair tool and dust brush do get it but they are small, and the wand must be held at awkward angles to get that floor dust. Emptying the bin is no problem, nor is cleaning it or the filters, except that the bin fills quickly and should probably be cleaned more often than I changed the bag on my last bagged upright. This means the suction for larger objects and dust bunnies was high. I cleaned the filters well but noticed there was still dirt or dust way up in the fan-like filter that I couldn’t clean out without unscrewing the plastic housing, and that was just the 2nd time using the vacuum. The main head doesn’t fit under the bed and certainly not the couch, and the wand is too short to reach. Would be great if there was a way to attach the main large head or foot to the wand to get under the bed and furniture, but there isn’t. The movement of lifting the hand-held upper unit is awkward, as is de and re-attaching the wand. The swivel Adobe the is clumsy and difficult to maneuver. I could get used to the bagless feature as it is more economical, but using the machine made me realize a canister would be better for my needs.M. R.

Just purchased after reading software several reviews, have bought a lot of c***** vacuums in the past passed but also grown up with Kirby's filter queens and other various expensive vacuums including Dyson most recently. Believing that there is an affordable vacuum that does a great job out there, I read that this vacuum has good suction and has some nice features including pet tools and Hepa features, Which I liked as an allergy sufferer. I have not had the vacuum along but my 1st impressions which give it 4 stars included impressive impressive, very impressive pretty impressive suction, Enough toChange the direction and fibers on an older carpet that have become relatively stiff and other vacuums I eat my old one wouldn't even budge on moving. So on this front I would say good job Bissell. Other features I liked included the lights which were LED and lit up everything in front of the vacuum really well the ease of detachment of the Accessories and canister which was relatively easy to empty and reinsert. The vacuum well slightly heavy does maneuver and corner very well the design is dynas obviously modern and following Dyson standards on that front. I have no comment on reliability as the vacuum is new but it could become 5 stars or drop to 3 from where I stand currently and based on its reliability.. From my short time at the vacuum I vacuum I don't believe the critical reviews on this site are accurate at all.Vicrom3

The interchangeable batteries, the many attachments and the light weight of this vacuum is the only positives. This is my first cordless vacuum so I am not an expert but this is my observations after 1.5 months of using it. While I will say the hard floor power head works great for exactly that I must say the multi surface power head is terrible. After vacuuming a single 5’x7’ rug, the light goes red, the roller stops, and it needs to be cleaned. It’s not like we have a lot of hair in our house, just myself and my partner, as our dog does not shed at all. To clarify it comes with two full sized motor heads. One for hard floors (this one is great and hair doesn’t get caught in it at all) and one for carpet and hard floors (this multipurpose one gets a lot of hair caught in no time at all and will stop working until you take it apart and clean it) Canadian Tire does not offer returns on vacuums once you’ve tested them which I somewhat understand but it’s also a nuisance and it something that may hinder me from buying one from them in the future. If we hadn’t bought this vacuum on sale 50% off I would be quite upset. This vacuum feels very cheaply made. If you are looking for a cheap vacuum for hard floors then this one will do a decent job. But as for carpet this one isn’t the one.Heather

Opening up the box, this was very simple to put together without the use of instructions. It only has a handful of pieces that easily snap together. My immediate reaction was how topheavy it is- and NOT freestanding on it's own, which is a slight disappointment. This seems to be the norm with cordless stick vacuums. I do wish they'd find a way to allow them to stand, so you don't have to prop them up against a wall and hope they don't fall when moving something n the midst of vacuuming, picking up a toy you don't want sucked up, etc. After using this for some time, I can say that it certainly is not my favorite vacuum. Here are my main thoughts: I love that it is cordless and can't imagine plugging a vacuum into a wall after using this, but the battery life doesn't last very long and it's a bit annoying to always be charging this. It only comes with one battery, so you can't be charging one and using one- and they are VERY expensive to purchase from Hoover. It isn't easy to empty. We have a home full of pets so this very quickly gets filled up with hair, and it's not as simple as just opening the base and dumping it out. I have to reach my hand in and pull clumps of hair from the tiny crevices of the device. The topheaviness is really an issue. I can't tell you how many times I've propped this up against the wall, only for it to fall and scare everyone in the house to bits. Has an "extra" suction feature that is so loud its unbearable to use. There is truly no need for the volume to be amplified by 20 when using this feature. After only using for a few months, the bottom brush/roller is so tangled in hair that I need to take a pair of scissors to it soon, but am dreading it. I wish it sucked up this hair rather than tangling it in the roller. All in all, it gets the job done, but in your search for the perfect vacuum to spend your hard earned money on, I'd pass this one up.Courtney

When I first purchased this vacuum the battery died after 12 uses. Since it was under warranty I got a new battery. These batteries though are 3Ah. In order to vacuum my living room/dining room and kitchen though I must recharge two of these 3Ah batteries. A 3Ah battery takes me 4 hours to recharge but lasts 15-20 minutes depending on the setting you have it on i.e.CARPET or ECO etc. On another day I can then have them fully recharged to then do the kitchen/hallway or other small rooms. Therefore you MUST have two of these batteries. If you spend $300 on two 4Ah batteries you could do a condo sized apartment (1000 square feet in my case). Therefore the onus of technology improvement for the batteries falls on Hoover and they should thus charge less for these batteries. The cordless technology is nowhere near where it should be and for that reason I cannot recommend it to my friends with would prefer central vac and they are mostly in houses not condos. I always use the less draining ECO function on the vacuum and get 20 minutes out of each 3Ah battery. I believe two 4Ah batteries are sufficient for 1000 sq foot space to get done without needing to recharge them though but $300 for those batteries is like buying another high end vacuum cleaner.SD

The attachments are quick and simple to attach. The suction is very strong. I am totally happy with this hand vac. If I were looking for more, it would be the length of time before needing to recharge. But I am aware of the time of use and do not use it for lengthy jobs. Thanks Dysonottohalohanna

Wow, definitely a step up from the V6 handheld vacuum. The motor is stronger and much quieter, and the blower air is vented to the sides not directly into your face. The machine itself seems sturdier, especially with the stainless steel motorhead. Empyting the machine can be a little tricky, but with a little practice it shouldn't be an issue.bluereynolds123

As a busy mom of three kids, plus animals – my life gets hectic. It's hard to clean my floors or make time to clean, so having this vacuum has been such a lifesaver. The vacuum is super easy to setup and it's ready for use within minutes. The app makes it super easy to set it all up. It also works with my smart speaker, which is really nice so I don't have to go into the app or use the controller each time. The vacuum is beautiful, it's very sleek looking, and it fits in with my home very well. The vacuum cleans my floors so well, which I was a little worried about. I have never had a robot vacuum so I didn't know what to to expect with it – but it fills up the whole container so you know it's working well once you clean it out. The best thing about this vacuum is the UV-C sanitizing. Right now keeping my house as clean and germ free is a must with what is going on with this pandemic. So knowing that this vacuum cleans my floors and sanitizes them gives me such good peace of mind.amandabee3

UV-C Sanitizing RoboVac is a very nice modern looking vac. This vac is very large and you can easily view uv light on bottom. This product connected easily to my internet through app and I was able to use remote as well. The product does get stuck in places more than I like but I feel the quality and durability of this product is great. The charging system cord is well protected with a slide to close compartment. This product cleans up dirt and debris great my floors feel and look cleaner than usual. This product does not take up alot of space and with a house full of animals this product really does work I see little to no pethair and this makes me happy. The sanitizer seems to work but no way of really knowing this but anything that can help keep my fllors germ free from my family and pets constantly walking in from outdoors etc. I would recommend this product to others love the dual capabilities that this product offers, looks great and cleans very well.Tamlu2

This robotic vacuum is amazing!! I love the app that let's me control and see what the vacuum is cleaning and I like that it has so many different cleaning options. I set it to vacuum thoroughly during the night time since it is not too loud and i use the spot clean feature during the day when its needed. I love the feeling of waking up to freshly vacuumed floors and knowing they have been sanitized and are ready for my kids to play on. This robot vacuum is very smart and has impressive wheels that go over anything, like my baby swing legs and it easily transitions from wood to carpet and goes over area rugs. The dirt tank holds alot, I only have to empty it once a day. I can't say enough good things about this. The suction is very powerful. I highly recommend!
