Took this for crippling back pain (of all things) after C-19 seriously messed me up. Already had a bad back for 30+ years, but this was pain x10. Did some deep studying into the problem after seeing some YT video by chance by a doctor advertising one of these proteolytic enzymes and settled on the Doctor's Best because it's actually reasonably priced compared to another heavily advertised proteolytic exzyme brand that's rediculously expensive if you're poor and need to take it every month. I've been taking these Vitamins for about 6 to 7 months and have seen growth in my hair and skin it took some time though to see change. My nails had gotten long to the point I cut them down, I don't like really long nails I can care less. Side note: The only thing I didn't like about these Vitamins is, they have way way to much doses of biotin in them I've developed a itch on the top of my foot with a dark spot that been there about 3 months now. I've gone to the Dr. for it but she didn't know what it really was. She gave me cream to put on it but it didn't help all that much just kept itching. Don’t take the full dose at the same time! Your body only uses what it needs and you’ll get rid of the excess vitamins as waste so I take one gummy in the morning before/after breakfast and the other in the evening before/after dinner. Think about it like watering a small plant, if you give it 3 cups of water in the morning, the excess water runs out the holes in the bottom where as if you gave it 1.5 in the morning and 1.5 at night thats much less likely to happen as it will lose water throughout the day. I perm my hair so that I don’t have to style it with heat to keep it healthier as it’s very fine and thin and over the summer it got botched so I had to reperm it 2 weeks later which is horrific for your hair and cut 5 inches off so I was desperate for it to grow back. Before I started taking these, gobs of my hair was coming out in my hairbrush and in my hands in the shower. Also, when I would gently pull on my hair at the ends, it would come out in my hand. After using this product for 2 months, it nearly completely healed my acne. This product was the only thing I did differently in my routine. My oil production stayed about the same. The redness, texture, and acne significantly improved. However, for me, this product caused fairly severe constipation. I bought these when the local Walmart was out of the brand I normally use. Within a few days of taking these, my face began to break out. It wasn't just pimples, it was cyst type bumps that would not come to a head. They were very irritated and sore to the touch. I have always had great success with the Differen gel, but it would not clear them up. After researching the ingredients, I found that these were loaded with Biotin, which clogs pores. I am truly disappointed in the Spring Valley brand. I have used them for years and never had any issues. I will now buy my vitamins elsewhere.Pam
