It gave my hair noticeable volume doesn’t have a super strong scent, but I had to return. It left my color treated hair feeling very dry brittle. Maybe I was using too much, but I’ve used Color WOW’s volumizing mousse with the same amount that made my hair soft. This one would also get my hair stuck in my round brush when blow drying left my hair very frizzy due to the grit it gives your hair. I use the Thick It cream for this purpose. I also use a conditioning spray they offer.- don't have name with me – that works great. I love their hair polish (like to use that on dry hair for smoothing purposes),.dry shampoo as needed, and hair spray. I met my often horrible sister for lunch last week and she NEVER says anything nice to me, but she said that my hair looks amazing. I almost choked on a carrot. I have used the Sea Salt Spray a few times, and I could not tell at first if it added volume or hold. I use a stiff gel that holds my hair in place, so I was mainly testing this product for texture and volume rather than hold. I do think that it adds texture. However, the volume and hold part is hard for me to say since I use gel right after and my hair is very straight and coarse. Any additional volume I get would be noticeable but not as much as someone with curly or wavy hair, I think. I would gander to say that the volume of my hair increased. I cannot unbiasedly assess the hold because I use gel that is very stiff. I think the effects are probably even more apparent on people with curly or wavy hair that desire extra volume or texture. I watched some Youtube videos and the clients with wavy hair seemed to mention that their hair was visibly improved by the Sea-Salt spray. Ive worked my way through dozens of brands of hair products over the years and this is one of the best for a few reasons. What first attracted me to this was the smell. My barber uses it and it smells amazing like others have said, almost like pineapple. I thing it works best with short hair but it has excellent hold and doesnt feel too sticky or greasy once in. I was able to try this product after i found it at the dollar store. I don't particularly use mousse very much anymore but I will use it from time to time. I really like got2b products and have had good experiences with them in the past so I ended up using this product daily. The product is supposed to give you extra volume which is something I really want in my style. It also has an average price of 6.99 which is an ok price for a drugstore mousse…. I was able to get it cheaper since i found it at the dollar store. After washing and towel dying my hair i put a handful of the product into my hair and style as desired. I found it didn't give a sticky or filmy feel to my hair and that my style held really well. I also had a pretty decent amount of hold and volume throughout the day. Does exactly what I want my mousee to do! Okay, just like the hairspray, the first thing I noticed was the heavenly scent. It really does smell great! To me, the scent was so nice that it almost smelled more like a perfume than a hair product. That matters to me, because, well, lets face it, our hair is right by our nose, and who wants a not-nice scent right there all day? So, before I even tried it, I liked the scent. I used it a few times, and was very happy with it. My hair is fairly long, and naturally wavy, but it's also really, really fine. So that means that it often can feel flat. And the roots especially can feel awful to me, just really super-flat and unattractive. So I really liked this mousse because it helped keep my waves in, and my hair where I wanted it to be, and, on top of all that, it gave it volume (especially at the roots! Yesssss!). The other thing I really liked was that it did all this without making my hair feel sticky, or gunky or anything, or too stiff. My hair still felt nice and soft. Oh, and, also, I really love the colours of the can of mousse….it's a pretty, vibrant, cheer-you-up combination of colours – a nice bright yellow, and a lovely bright magenta. Maybe that sounds like a strange thing to mention, but I am the kind of person who always notices all the details, and I'm also the type of person who likes things to look nice; if I'm going to have a can of mousse out on my bathroom counter, why not have it be something that looks nice, right?

This product does do the job! I used it for many many years. The only thing I dislike about this product is that it I can feel the product in my roots throughout the day or the next couple of days. It feels heavy and makes my hair look greasy. It’s nice if you are planning on washing your hair the next day so you can get the product out.emily.h
I love this Brand Big Sexy Hair. I naturally have thin/fine hair that lacks body and all of their products always give me volume. Ive never tried this Root pump product but I’m really happy I did. It’s a volumizing mousse spray that is kind of like a hair spray/mousse mix. It definitely gives my hair body and texture especially at the roots. This brand is pretty expensive, but they do have a lot of products at TJ Maxx at discounted prices which is why I purchased it. Definitely love Big Sexy hair!lisa.f
I’m always looking for volume and bought the deluxe trial size to give it a go. This gets rave reviews, but I wasn’t impressed. It’s a foam product that is applied to damp hair at the roots. It requires a lot of babysitting, whether you blow dry (I do not, unless it’s absolutely necessary for a quick look) or air dry. A lot of brushing is required and I just didn’t get results. I do not recommend and I’m glad I got the small size.candy.a
