I took a chance years ago! My frizz is under control just by shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels LIGHT (not weighed down by other frizz products). This shampoo is a dream for anyone w/ long hair! First, it cleans thoroughly w/out stripping your hair of natural & needed healthy oils. It's gentle while still cleansing. Cake's Curl Girl is definitely designed to lure in people like me who 1) Love the color pink ~ the bottle & writing are pink and so is the shampoo! 2) Want their shampoo & their hair to smell good ~ the scent is my VERY FAVORITE thing about this shampoo! Maybe I got a bad batch smell-wise, but mine smells like plastic and a really bad cake-scented toy. It's very chemical and fake smelling to me, and I'm disappointed as heck in the scent. As far as the performance, it doesn't do much better in that department for my hair. My hair felt simultaneously dry and covered in residue after use. It says something on the bottle about keeping your hair cleaner for longer, but my hair looked greasy after only a few short hours when I used this. I dyed and damaged my hair so much (over the course of 2yrs) to the point where my hair didn’t wave even a little bit. I tried Nat*reLab T*kyo’s repair line for ~1yr and while it did help with the damage, it couldn’t bring my waves back, and I had MAJOR silicone buildup on my hair and scalp (yuck!). Back in May (2021) I started using this shampoo along with the super smooth cream conditioner, and my hair has never looked better. After just ONE wash, my hair had more body and volume than ever before, and over the past few months, my waves have been coming back 🙂 They look more uniform, less frizzy, and honestly curlier than they did even before I damaged my hair. The bottle looks small, but the shampoo has lasted me 3.5 months so far and there’s still enough left for me to keep using it for 1-2 more months. I follow a modified Curly Girl Method, basically I just use approved products but have to diffuse my hair since it would take all day to dry and I don't have time for that. I have fine, thin/sparse hair that needs shampoo every wash (which is two to three times a week). I got this because I have done everything suggested to combat frizz but nothing worked. I wanted an actually CG approved and tested product. I am still having issues but since I've started diffusing my hair about 10-15 minutes after getting out of the shower my frizz has gone down a little. Maybe I just have frizzy hair and no amount of anything will help, but I thought I'd try clarifying too. This product smells nice and is not overpowering. Maybe if you are sensitive to smells it still might bother you but I think you should at least try it. It doesn't linger post shower and maybe only a trace scent is left. I have short hair (just above chin length when curly) so I don't very often catch wiffs of my hair. I only know this because I used this before I got my hair cut (it was halfway down my neck when curled so some hair in the front could reach my nose for me to smell). It does not dry out my hair and even before using conditioner I can run my fingers through my hair when putting conditioner in–not completely tangle free but a lot better than what I had used before (Shea Moisture Clarifying something or other). Also, my hair does not feel squeaky clean which is great and allows an easier time of putting in conditioner. My hair feels clean but not striped of natural oils, which is exactly as I had hoped! I will say it does not lather up a lot and since I wear glasses and can't see well enough without getting super close to a mirror I probably use more than you need. I use enough so I can see the lather and it is minimal. I like that the bottle is a concentrated squirt top so you can easily get it to your scalp. I would definitely buy this again! It will last quite a while since you don't clarify often (I do twice a month and may drop off to once a month if I see better results with the rest of my routine.) Ever since I started embracing my curls/waves and started the curly girl method I've been on the look out for products that work with my hair. I came across Bounce Curl after hearing so many good things about it across social media. I don’t really write reviews unless I see that a product actually works and it lives up to what it claims to do, so after trying this shampoo several times I thought that I’d share my personal experience so far. Not only has this shampoo brought in the moisture my hair craves but it has also reduced the amount of frizz my hair experiences. I must admit I was a little nervous trying this shampoo because my scalp tends to flake due to dryness however, I was very pleased with the results. Frankly, I was in awe because after my first wash, there was no sign of flaking in my scalp which happens a lot with other products. This in fact was the first shampoo that moisturizes and cleansed my scalp without over-stripping. I truly appreciate the clean and high quality ingredients Bounce curl utilizes and their dedication and care that reflects through their happy customers and results most importantly. I think that Bounce Curl lives up to the hype and I'm more than happy to continue to use their products. As a reference, I have high density hair, medium thick hair, and dry-prone hair (high-porosity perhaps) so this shampoo was perfect. It really brings out the natural curl in my hair. I prefer using clarifying shampoo and then leaving this on for 15 minutes. My hair feels noticeably soft and healthy. I never knew how curly my hair naturally was until I started using this. I would say I would have identified my hair as 2A before using this mask and a 2C after. I basically look like Taylor Swift on her debut album now. I do think it is expensive but for what it does I am happy with the price for it. I find that I do not use much at all each time I use it so it lasts a long time. I have experienced hair loss with it but nothing that would worry me. I would say normally I would lose 5-10 hairs in the shower but now it is more like 10-15. This conditioner left my hair silky and soft. It claims to detangle the hair and that’s true. Other than that I didn’t notice anything special about this. I think it does the job for softening and detangling and that’s about it. The other claims I don’t know about. It’s also overpriced for something that’s not special. I can get something cheaper that does the same thing. The reason why it only has 3 stars is because of the smell. It doesn’t smell that good. It reminds me of a more masculine scent. I smell musk or a woody note. I know many people like that and for me, it’s OK. I rather have a more feminine scent for my hair products. So I wound up buying this because I really wanted a better conditioner and have noticed over the years that every salon and every hair dresser I go to uses this in my hair. My hair always feels great after so maybe this was the key. Let me tell you how amazing it is. My hair has never been so soft and shiny. I am really loving this shampoo! I have just recently started trying L’ange products. I have hair that is thinning on top, starting to go gray in places and is oily at the roots, but still normal thickness on the lengths and dry at the ends. It’s is maybe 2” longer than shoulder length. The ends are little fried from highlights. This, with the Slicke conditioner leaves mr hair so soft and not a tangled mess! It doesn’t make my roots oily nor does it dry out my ends! It’s the perfect balance. The only small negative I have is that this shampoo and conditioner have a fairly strong sweet scent. I ordered this shampoo (as well as conditioner and other products) as a last resort to fixing my hair after the effects of three surgeries in a years time took its toll on my hair. I have thin hair, but plenty of it. And I actually bought this conditioner to try out before it was sent to me by Influenster, so I have a whole other bottle in waiting and I am really happy about this! This conditioner is thick and creamy and does a great job of making my hair soft and smooth and hydrated after using the matching shampoo, which can strip it down a bit. It smells nice (fresh and flowery, not heavy at all), and most importantly, my hair looks and feels great after washing. For me, I have to pick a conditioner with little to no silicones because it just weighs my hair down so fast. This one does not do that at all – my hair feels soft and light after it’s dry, really healthy feeling. It didn’t add volume for me, but I don’t think conditioner can really do that – the important thing is that it didn’t weigh my hair down and make it looks sad and flat and greasy. My hair looks voluminous because there’s no weight, I love it. I also think this shampoo and conditioner are really reasonably priced for a more mid-range salon brand. I was really disappointed in this shampoo that I purchased as part of a volumebloom set. I have fine hair (chin length) and expected volume. My hair unfortunately remained flat, even after blow-drying with a quality hair dryer. The smell is fantastic, the hair is smooth, but there is zero volume (the volume was the purpose of my purchase). Not sure why my hair remained flat, perhaps due to the creamy texture. My hair found its soulmate! My first impression was a great one; beautiful and sleek bottle design. I popped open the cap and let my sense of smell guide me and I was extremely pleased. This shampoo has a wonderous scent; it made me feel like I was transported to a high end salon; it has a soft scent that isn't overpowering and doesn't smell like chemicals. Biolage smells crisp and clean and the scent stays within the hair for hours after shampooing. I literally couldn't stop smelling my own hair, it is fantastic. Now, I have pretty thin hair and most products that promise to "volumize" your hair have never really held up for me but after only one use my hair had a noticeable difference. I actually got great volume from Biolage, my hair had a luxury sheen, it left my hair feeling incredibly soft and my fingers would just glide through my hair without getting tangled; my husband even noticed that my hair had more volume and he loved the scent as well. This Pacifica Pineapple Conditioner is a great followup to the shampoo to lock in the right nourishment to produce the curls you need. It made my hair come back to life after hair dyes had caused damage of dryness and lifeless hair. It’s more youthful because it’s shiny, wavy and soft again! It actually works as promised! Smells fresh, although the shampoo is stronger. I love the Pacifica products I’ve been trying because of my curiosity and sales I’m trying more. The prices are decent as compared to other higher priced brands that just continued drying the hair out even though the exhaustive amount ingredients seemed good. I just started my natural curly hair journey from when I started damaging it as a teenager! I feel like this shampoo was highly recommended and I just could get enough of how amazing it smells! I always imagine myself at the beach drinking a pina colada when I use this! I am obsessed. I feel like my hair gets a really good clean when I use it. I just finished this bottle and I'm sorry to say I won't buy it again. The shampoo itself is ok but I feel like it weighs my hair down. But I am hating this new container designs. It arrived leaking within the plastic bag. And then somehow, the bottle continued to leak from the top even though I had it stored upright. By the time I finished the bottle, the whole thing had a thick coating of shampoo on it. AND there's no way to open the top to add a little water to get all of the product out. Well, super bummed. I liked the light scent. It doesn't smell "good" but not bad either and it doesn't linger so I don't care about that. First time I used, literally thought I forgot to rinse conditioner out. So I washed next day (usually only wash twice a week). My hair was fine, but seemed a bit heavy. Used it yesterday without the conditioner this time because I used a hair mask (which I've been using for years). Could tell immediately when rinsing the mask my hair felt really weird. Then again today everything but the top most layer is a weird filmy greasy mess! So it's not just the conditioner, but the shampoo. It leaves a gross film on my hair making it super greasy. I have an oilier scalp but I can still go days between washes. This stuff somehow has the strands extremely oily! Will definitely return this one. If I had never tried this brand quite some time ago in a Sephora Play box (remember those?) I would be kicking myself for sleeping on it! I fell in love with the “ghost oil” first, and from there I jumped in hard to the brand. The volume shampoo (and the equally awesome conditioner counterpart) have turned out to be amongst my favs! I love the smell- clean and fresh without being too overwhelming. I’m a hard sell on shampoo, but this is a nice size for the $20 price point and it has a good lather, so it should last for a decent amount of time. I also really like that VERB is both cruelty and SLS free, uses sunflower oil as a natural hair protector and vitamin B5 to add thickness to the hair. It’s rather hard to be the judge of whether or not a product produces enough volume simply Bc we all prefer differing levels of volume in our hair, but I do enjoy the way this shampoo performs in my hair, and I’ve been able to regularly produce and reproduce“voluminous hairstyles” that I’m fond of when I use this shampoo and conditioner set.Reatha24

I was not the biggest fan of Verb Volume Shampoo. I have fine, curly hair that gets weighed down easily. I have lost some volume/thickness during the pandemic for some reason, so I am always looking to thicken and give myself some lift and volume. First, I am big on scent and I don’t need my products to smell like anything specific, as long as it smells good. I didn’t like the smell of the Verb Volume Shampoo or Conditioner at all. It reminded me of Matrix Biolage, which is one of my least favorite brands and scents. I can get past the scent if the product works. I can honestly say I didn’t notice much of a difference as far as the volume my hair had after blow drying it straight. I really wanted to like this product! I was excited to try it, It smells greattt! But I naturally have super thick/long hair and it did not do a good job of making my hair feel clean. My hair still felt dirty, greasy and itchy when I got out of the shower. It also produces very little suds, which is something I need a lot of to properly clean my thick hair. I work at Ulta so naturally I love trying different products. Since it’s close to summer I wanted to stop styling my hair and instead start wearing it natural (in the summer it’s just way too hot to style my thick hair and the humidity makes it not last anyways!). However, I have wavy hair with the potential to be curly with the right shampoo/ styling products. So, I wanted to try the coconut curls line to see if I could enhance my waves/ curls and it worked! It also smells so good and I got so many compliments. I recommend not only getting the shampoo and conditioner but also the styling milk and finishing mist! I brought this product for a cheaper alternative. I was really disapointed with the results and damage ir had done to my hair. It made me lose hair, made my hair dry and frizzy. Although it smells nice its completly ruined my curls and turned them back to frizz. Not a good product. Shea moistuer is amazing!! It is just quite expensive! I have used and (loved) the moisture repair shampoo in the past. Since it’s the liter sale, I decided to try the extra volume shampoo and unfortunately was very disappointed. It had an odd smell to me and also felt very sticky/thick on the hair. After I shower, my hair still felt a bit knotty. My husband also agreed with me when I had him use it. I went by the suggestions of the website for which conditioner to use, apparently I had been using the wrong one. This one works great on my curls, some are pretty tight & some are bouncy. This conditioner doesn't weigh them down & gives them a nice bounce. Paired with the shampoo, it's been life changing to my hair. Can't beat the fragrance either, I really like it! I alternate this shampoo with my regular shampoo. It's great for removing the buildup of products that I use on a daily basis. I have natural non ethnic spiral curly hair. My hair is also highlighted so it gets dry in the summer. This does the job gently without drying my hair out further. This became my everyday shampoo for when I wanted a good cleanse, soft strands and volume. I have an oily scalp problem. While it doesn't help delay the oil production, this is able to provide a thorough cleanse, leaving my hair (and the room) with this refreshing orange blossom scent. My most favourite thing about it is that it adds a little Zhoosh to my locks. My hair looks bouncy, with volume and, feels lightweight. It's silicone & sulphate free, and doesn't lather much. The one issue I do have with this is that since the formulation is runny and light, I have to use a considerable amount each time. I had high hopes for this shampoo but it’s terrible for oily hair. My hair gets quite oily and dirty and I normally wash it every 3 days, I had never had issues with my other shampoos to cleanse my hair in the past but I did with this shampoo. There was nearly no bubbles even when I rub it in my palms before applying to my hair, and so it’s extremely difficult to clean my hair. The first time I had to use 4 pumps to even get my hair clean! Which is a lot considering how small the bottle is honestly. I haven’t had any noticeable difference either in terms of hair volume or texture, so I’ll strongly suggest that you don’t buy it, and especially DONT if you have oily hair because this shampoo doesn’t even clean it well. I have an oily scalp with wavy waist length thick hair (many thin/low porosity strands). Color treated blonde. Problems: fluffy/poofy hair, greasy roots, dry ends, seborrheic dermatitis (on back of scalp) 1. Product longevity: I only used the allotted card sample packet of 10 mL shampoo & 10 mL conditioner, which I was prepared to not be enough for my long hair. It was perfect! It went a long way, which was a pleasant surprise right off the bat. 2. Scent: the fragrance is pleasant, light but it hangs in there, even into the next day. The scent is unisex. It just smells very *clean,* like a fresh aquatic citrus. Although it’s subtle, it is noticeable enough to get a “ooh your hair smells good” when someone goes in for the hug. 3. Effectiveness: this cleaned my hair so well, without making it feel overly dried or stripped. I have a hard time getting a good product that works with my dermatitis, and actually calmed the flare up I was having. Day 2 after wash, my head was so much less itchy than it was all week. My hair stayed clean and free of grease throughout all of day 1 and 2. Paired with the conditioner, my hair was smooth, shiny, soft (but not overly fluffy/full of poofy flyaways). It felt hydrated and my ends looked good. I’ve been faithful to olaplex for the past 2 years, but think I may have a new fave. I noticed that with olaplex, my hair began getting greasy SO quickly. I was getting greasy same day as wash. I still love it (that LATHER and scent tho!), but I think it’s too rich and moisture-focused for regular use given my oily scalp. My seborrheic dermatitis was getting worse and having intense flare ups. Anyway, everyone’s hair is different, and can change in different seasons, so I really don’t think there’s a “one size fits all” hair product that will be best for everyone at all times. For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I'm very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i'll just put it that way – it's difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles. HOWEVER… I've been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND.) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is…I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand. It's like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It's insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results. The only cons, I would say, is that because there's such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don't over do it. The second con, though it's nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn't lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need. I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren't much of a big deal. For the oily con as mentioned above, this is why I switched to the MEDIUM line & I feel like it has helped. The THICK line may have heavier ingredients. I've used strength cure, hydrate and the nano works good line. But for some reason the pureology strength cure especially really irritated my scalp and makes me lose soooo much hair. So I got the ouai thick hair shampoo and conditioner and the first time I used it my shedding was only like 10 hair strands! I've washed my hair 4 times with it now and my hair scalp feels so clean but the shampoo makes washing my hair so easy and doesn't tangle my hair. And the conditioner is chefs kiss. I barely have to use any and my hair is so conditioned after the shampoo/conditioner. My hair is so soft, shiny, clean and my natural waves/curls look really pronounced since using the set. Also they smell AMAZING I want a perfume in the shampoo scent! I got the leave in, oil, and curl cream and they all work together beautifully and don't make my hair feel producty which I like because pureolgy always leaves my hair feeling kinda gross when I use their leave ins. Anyway I totally recommend this set and if you're getting greasy hair from this set try the medium or fine hair set. This just probably isn't for your hair type. I have an oily scalp with wavy waist length thick hair (many thin/low porosity strands). Color treated blonde. Problems: fluffy/poofy hair, greasy roots, dry ends, seborrheic dermatitis (on back of scalp) 1. Product longevity: I only used the allotted card sample packet of 10 mL shampoo & 10 mL conditioner, which I was prepared to not be enough for my long hair. It was perfect! It went a long way, which was a pleasant surprise right off the bat. 2. Scent: the fragrance is pleasant, light but it hangs in there, even into the next day. The scent is unisex. It just smells very *clean,* like a fresh aquatic citrus. Although it’s subtle, it is noticeable enough to get a “ooh your hair smells good” when someone goes in for the hug. 3. Effectiveness: this cleaned my hair so well, without making it feel overly dried or stripped. I have a hard time getting a good product that works with my dermatitis, and actually calmed the flare up I was having. Day 2 after wash, my head was so much less itchy than it was all week. My hair stayed clean and free of grease throughout all of day 1 and 2. Paired with the conditioner, my hair was smooth, shiny, soft (but not overly fluffy/full of poofy flyaways). It felt hydrated and my ends looked good. I’ve been faithful to olaplex for the past 2 years, but think I may have a new fave. I noticed that with olaplex, my hair began getting greasy SO quickly. I was getting greasy same day as wash. I still love it (that LATHER and scent tho!), but I think it’s too rich and moisture-focused for regular use given my oily scalp. My seborrheic dermatitis was getting worse and having intense flare ups. Anyway, everyone’s hair is different, and can change in different seasons, so I really don’t think there’s a “one size fits all” hair product that will be best for everyone at all times. That being said, transitioning into warmer, humid spring/summer weather, I’m really pleased to have found this product. It’ll be great for clean summer hair.jessicaeve1023

For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I'm very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i'll just put it that way – it's difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles. HOWEVER… I've been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND.) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is…I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand. It's like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It's insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results. The only cons, I would say, is that because there's such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don't over do it. The second con, though it's nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn't lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need. I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren't much of a big deal. For the oily con as mentioned above, this is why I switched to the MEDIUM line & I feel like it has helped. The THICK line may have heavier ingredients. I have frizzy , fine hair and the davines love smoothing shampoo really helps a lot with the smoothing process even before I use styling aids. This range is Rich in fatty acids and vitamins, I always want products that have a lot to offer. The formula has a high percentage of biodegradable ingredients. The davines brand is also sulphate free so people that have Brazilians or any color/ chemical treatment done can use it. The packaging is reusable. Price is in the same range as those of salon products. I reverted to the love smoothing range for my daily use, I still alternate with a few others, depending on what my hair needs.monique.o

This is the best shampoo I have ever used! I received a sample of it in my subscription box and was amazed at the fact that it had more then one use in it! The shampoo spread nicely which is why there was more then one use in it. I have long hair too! It made my hair soft and shiny and healthy looking! It's hard to do that with my dry, brittle hair. It is quite expensive but worth every penny and then some. I always purchase in bulk when I get my taxes so I will have enough for the entire year. When I first used this shampoo I hated how it felt. I thought it made my hair feel limp, almost sticky, and a bit greasy. I decided to keep using it since it didn't irritate my skin (I'm very sensitive and shampoos can cause eczema flares for me) and after 2 weeks of daily use I've noticed an incredible change in the feeling and appearance of my hair. Gone is the weird sticky feeling and now my hair is soft, shiny, bouncy, and healthy. My ends feel hydrated and so soft. I've even noticed less hairfall in the shower and in my brush as well. My scalp — normally irritated and itchy — feels normal and healthy. I think this shampoo is so gentle that if you were using something laden with silicones before it doesn't get the buildup off. I recommend using a clarifying shampoo and then integrating these products into your routine. I use this with the Formula 133 conditioner sold by Kiehl's. Highly recommend them both!Danielle

I am always amazed at the range of Kiehl's products – from daily skin care, to treatments, rich body care, family toiletry products, and hair care as well. I've been a fan of Kiehl's skincare for some time, but had never tried any of the haircare until I was given the Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. This shampoo contains amino acid and coconut oil to clean the hair gently, as well as wheat proteins and wheat starch which are claimed to add body. It is described as suitable for all hair types and as a mild shampoo, gentle enough to use every day. It is free of silicone and parabens I am instantly attracted to anything coconut, it reminds me of the beach and summertime. So I would probably still like this product even if it didn't live up to it's claims! Fortunately, I am happy to report that it does. My hair, which is straight, quite fine but abundant, and coloured, felt soft and silky afterwards, and still had it's usual body. There was no issue at all with it feeling "weighed down" or limp – and I do know what that feels like, whenever I have my hair coloured. I have fairly dry, coloured hair with a slightly oily scalp, but both scalp and ends felt perfectly clean after using Amino Acid. It might be counter-intuitive to think of coconut oil with an oily scalp, but in this case it works.\n\nThe lather – I have to say it doesn't lather quite as well as my usual shampoo but, with an oily scalp, I naturally double shampoo. The first shampoo to remove any excess oil, the second to really clean the hair. On the second shampoo, with Amino Acid the lather is rich and creamy, exactly as I want, but also easy to rinse out. The coconut scent afterwards is wonderful, it lingers but is not overpowering. There is nothing better than having been at the beach, hot and sticky, and then washing all of that away with a coconut-scented product. It reminds me of those times.\n\nThe packaging is fairly plain, on the face of it – just a plastic bottle, but what I really like about Kiehl's packaging is the trademark cursive writing, and the fact that all the ingredients and directions are right there conveniently on the bottle,not on a leaflet, so you can read them clearly.\n\nThe price is the only drawback – it is very high for a product that will be used as often as a shampoo. So I would recommend that people use it as I do – as an extra summer shampoo for those times when you have been in the pool every day and need to step up the shampooing. \n\nAnne F.

I waited awhile to do this review, I wanted to see how my hair responded to using Kiehl's Since 1851 Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been using it for 5 months now and I am impressed. I have always been "cheap" when it has come to shampoo and conditioner, but I was having a lot of issues with my hair. My volume was flat, my natural waves always seemed limp, and the worst part was that every time I brushed or washed my hair I was pulling out clumps. I switched to Kiehl's and it is like night and day. My natural waves are back, my hair is growing back in areas where my hair was thinning, my hair isn't falling out by the bunches anymore and my hair is soft and has volume again. I am in need of volumizing products and had high hopes for this product. The scent is very light. When following my normal hair routine with my normal products the first time, I noticed a slight difference in my volume. The second time, it was slightly more. First off this conditioner smells so good! It's hard to describe but it doesn't smell like any other conditioner I have ever tried, I absolutely love it! It also isn't heavy like a majority of the conditioners I have tried. I have to be extremely picky with conditioner because a majority of them just leave my hair greasy after a day. My hair for the last few years has started becoming more limp and thin. I've tried various shampoos and hair products that supposedly add volume, but haven't really noticed a difference. I was excited to try this Strengthening shampoo because not only did it claim to strengthen hair, but also lead to more volume. I've used it for about a week now (5 times washing my hair) and I couldn't be happier. I was pleasantly surprised as I have noticed a difference. My hair which was thinning on the top seems a little thicker and actually softer too. The shampoo is best when used with the conditioner and serum as that is what I have been using and it seems to be working. Other things I've loved about it: the scent. It's mild, but so fragrant. It's a pleasant floral smell that stays with your hair until your next wash, which I love. The texture is also ideal; not so thick that it feels goopy and not so thin that it's watery. It also lathers really well which is a definite necessity for me because I never really feel clean without the lather. Another bonus is that I can blow dry and straighten curl my hair without any issues; it actually recommends you to style as required. Overall, I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone who is looking for thicker fuller hair without breaking the bank or resorting to extreme procedures.raomeenas
