This us a great little starter kit. First, you need to do your homework because there are no instructions for anything except the controller. I mounted this on my truck's fiberglass topper. You need to pay attention to the grounding locations on the panel and provide a ground wire and nut and bolt to them. Yes, you only need one, but I put in two. The cable connector diameter is 1/4", and connector diameter is 3/4", but once you put in one cable, you need more room to push through the 2nd 3/4" connector. I drilled a 1/4" hole next to the 3/4 hole to slide the cable out of the way. You will need grommets and sealant, or I used a marine through-hole connector. Sealed, of course. My truck cap is slightly curved – enough that if I had mounted the solar panel directly, it would have put a bending strain on it and possibly cracked in. I used 1/4" wood slices to make up the difference. I also bought rubber sheets (8"x 8") from Ace Hardware to place under the "feet" . The kit gives you everything you need except the 12v battery to which you connect. Please note that you connect the battery to the controller first. I use my truck in Search and Rescue support, as a radio relay. This solar panel will help greatly in not running down my battery. This product is great – taking dull floors and making them shine beautifully. It coats the wood floor with a surface shine, which will show dull scuffs if you drag (furniture, etc.) things across it, but is otherwise durable and really looks great. It does an ok job adding back shine to dulled out wood floor surface. It's thin milky fluid that is poured on the floor and mopped once the floor's prepped/cleaned. It's an easy application anyone can handle. The issue I have with it is that it requires/recommends microfiber cloth to mop with it. I happened to have one laying around at home but if you don't have one, you need to get one or find an alternative. I didn't catch that at first and used the papertowel to wipe and it left a film of hazy residue on multiple spots which is unsightly. I mopped the area again with a microfiber cloth and went away. I was concerned it would leave chemical odors but it didn't. It contained a lot of different chemical material that makes me wonder what long tern effects it would have on the wood. Overall, it's a nice product to restore the dull surface if you have a hard time doing with normal cleaning.Hockeycc

I’ve been using the rejuvenate professional wood floor restorer with satin finish for about a month now. My job is to remodel homes. I thought I would give this product a try, and I was happy that I did. Rejuvenate fills in the lines and cracks and restores the floor with a water based polyurethane. This has a satin finish, so the door looks shiny and natural when finished. This is a 32oz. bottle and will clean about 525 square feet of floor. This is by far the best floor rejuvenate product I have used. The process is easy, and only takes about 45 minutes and the cost is great compared to hiring a professional to do the job.Dman7576

My wood laminate was dull and whitish matt for some reason when we installed it and finished all the decor. No matter how much I'll mop the floors it just had this whitish look, though laminate itself did have a little bit of shine before we laid it. I tried this product and it did make it glossy and eliminated that white shade. I used microfiber mop to spread it and it did the justice to my floor. Looks good. Don't know how long the shining will last yet as just did this today, but there's still left for couple more times. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of it. All day it is hanging in the room and open windows did not help much.jollier13

Love this product so far! My husband put down a coat of the Floor Restorer about 2 months ago ( only after using the Rejuvenate Daily Floor Cleaner). It has held up well on our new floors. We have a 1 year old black lab puppy, two cats and a whirlwind of a toddler all over these floors, all the time. I just cleaned the floor with the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner and put another coat of the Rejuvenate All Floor Restorer over where my husband did a spot two months ago, you can barely tell where he did his spot before, it looks so shiny and uniform, and we aren't slipping on it constantly. It's kept our new floor nice and scratch free. In our kitchen, it's been down for two months also, I couldn't get a good picture, but it wears down to what the floor looked like before we applied the Restorer to it. I highly recommend this product, just follow directions carefully and use the Rejuvenate Daily Cleaner on it beforehand. On a side note, to do a quick clean I use the Great Value Wet Mopping Cloths on it a few times a week, and it doesn't seem to affect how quickly the finish wears at all. The only thing that seems to affect the wear of the All Floor Restorer is how often foot traffic goes over certain areas. The pictures below are in the living room, I have to do it in sections so I took a picture of where I stopped with the All Floor Restorer, so you can see the difference between the floor before and after. Also, my cats decided they were going to walk over where I applied the Floor Restorer about 10 minutes after I was done, and they didn't leave footprints. I used this product on my ceramic tile floors. It was a disaster. After a couple of weeks, I noticed, spots that looked dirty. I mopped and mopped, but this mess would not come off. I had to get down on my knees to try to scrape it off. I finally used Goo-Gone paint remover and it took the spots and stains right off. We were hesitant to use this as others had issues with application. We did our research and followed all of the instructions. We sanded our 100yr old Douglas Fir floors with a random orbital floor sander through 36/60/80/100 grit sandpaper. There was a lot of gouging and damage from previous owners. Most of it sanded out quickly. We vacuumed the walls and floors thoroughly with our Dyson and then wiped the entire floor slowly by hand with a warm water dampened microfiber rag. We then applied Minwax 1 Step Complete Floor Finish in Gunstock color with a satin sheen with a water-based Best Liebco synthetic stain pad on a pole. I applied stain to the pad and then pressed it into the paint tray to remove excess product. I slowly walked and kept even pressure on the pole, working quickly and keeping a wet edge. This is a water based product with poly in it as well. After 2 hours we applied a 2nd coat and it blended well and darkened the first coat just a bit. After that we waited 2 hours again and decided to put on a 1st coat of Minwax Ultimate Floor Finish in Satin sheen. Both of these products must be stirred slowly for about 10-15minutes to mix the thick layer that settles to the bottom of the can. DO NOT SHAKE POLY or it will bubble up. We used the same applicator pad but a clean, new one. I used the same technique for applying the Ultimate Floor finish, by applying the poly and then pressing the pad into the paint tray to remove excess. I then walked slowly down to one wall and then pulled the pad back across the same line slowly to remove any air bubbles. It turned out beautifully! There was a slightly uneven finish but I knew from research I just needed a 2nd coat to make it smooth as glass. So we waited the 2 hour dry time and against all recommendations from friends who work with oil based products, we DID NOT sand the floors with 220 grit sandpaper. After the 2 hour dry time, we put on a 2nd coat of Ultimate Floor Finish. It's beautiful and we were even able to walk up to bed an hour later in socks. We will give it 24 hours before more traffic and will wait the full 3 days before replacing furniture and rugs. Our home is old with lots of old poor paint jobs on the trim, so we will be sanding it all down and installing shoe moulding once the floors are fully cured. People complaining I think are mixing oil based and water based products or not following the easy instructions to wait 2 hours for recoating. We used water based floor product stain+poly and put this water based finish over the top with no sanding between coats and no issues at all in the final product. The dark areas of the floor had former wear and damage so we are satisfied with our outcome.ClarkFam5

Sanded floors 100 year old maple wood floors with drum sander and edger 20-60-100 grit. Floors had a lot of waxy buildup. Removed completely. Vacuumed room and washed walls. Applied two coats of the water-based Minwax Ultimate Floor Finish, glossy first and final coat with satin. No sanding in between coats as they were done within 24 hours. We will be applying one more coat in a few minutes, but very impressed so far. Water-based polyurethane cannot be directly applied to stained floors which is why I think some reviewers are having trouble with this product. We applied this product to bare wood. First time user. I sanded my floor all the way down and used Miniwax Ultimate Clear Satin. Floor looks amazing. Recommend using Duratool 18" Lightweight T-Bar. I was vacillating on spending another $40, but man am I glad I did. It helped put a light coat on to prevent pudding and bubbling. I did have to sand down a streak I missed that had too much on it, but I paid closer attention next coat! The other applicator would have held way too much polyurethane. This wax filled in a scratch our dogs made on the floor pretty easily and nice, until I wiped it away as per step two and the scratch seemed noticeable again. I think this would be ideal if you add a little more than you may think if it's not hiding the imperfection well. I am going to try again with a thicker coat and see how it does. When I paired this with the Minwax Reviver afterwards, the scratch practically disappeared though, despite my thin coat of paste prior. Both together seem to be the dream team duo!Aml9274

I used this on a higher traffic area of my hardwood that is starting to wear from the dogs. Easy to use and doesn’t require the drying time of poly. I have used this product for many years and have seen it frequently work wonders. It does, indeed, fill in scratches as it stains. If said scratches or gouges are too deep in wood or wood veneer for Briwax, wood putty should first be used, or if the scratches are in a vinyl veneer, rubbing compound should be vigorously applied first. It dries with just a bit of a waxy look but once that is covered with a high-quality furniture polish, it maintains a more glossy finish thereafter. I have found the benefits of Briwax to be long-lasting.David

Refinishing oak kitchen cabinets. Tremendous amount of time consuming physical labor. I should have just painted them. Product is good and stains as advertised, but it is on the user to sand evenly if you want an evenly stained surface. Changed sandpaper grit because I ran out and the stain depth changed at the point of transition. Also, don't wait more than 20 minutes to buff it out or it will be more difficult to get the surface knocked down to a sheen. After buffing, the surface will easily smudge and finger print. Seals & shines! We purchased a home with a worn wood floor in kitchen. We plan to install new non-wood flooring eventually but want to protect wood floor from further damage. This product is ideal for our needs, protecting and sealing until we select new flooring. If you want a different looking floor, this is NOT for you but if you seek to protect and shine up a worn floor, then this is perfect! Easy to apply & spreads easier than Bona similar product. I have fifteen year old high gloss floors which have held up really well but the transition strip between the wood and the tile had become dull. The Minwax Hardwood Reviver was great at bringing the luster back to the wood strips! I love that it is water based which makes it easy to apply and not smell too bad. I cleaned the strips well and let them dry before wiping on the minwax. Since I just needed a small area I used old tee shirt strips to apply and then trashed them after. After drying the wood strips looked great and it did not alter the color of the wood! I have plenty left to touch up as needed.Kathy F.

Half of our house has hardwood flooring. After a while, it gets looking worn and somewhat dull, even if we are being extra careful. We use this Reviver and couldn't be happier with the results. It dries in a reasonable amount of time, and we can do it ourselves. The only downside to the process is that we need to remove furniture to do it properly, but this is unavoidable. I've been using a product called Pro Shot for several years & decided this sounded so good I would try it. It's been harder to find pro Shot, lately, so I had nothing to lose. The smell of the product is more mild, and doesn't seem to leave as much residue on my hands as Pro Shot does. It doesn't seem to work quite as well as Pro Shot, but it does do pretty well. I always use Pro Shot on my shower floor tile (Terrazzo) to help seal out water, stains, etc. It keeps the shower much cleaner, longer. Although this product says not to use it for this, it works quite well. Obviously, I cleaned the tile very well first, let dry completely before applying a coat of Rejuvenate. I waited a day, and applied the second coat. The shower is not slick, dries better, and looks good. If it does this well for that, my wood floor should be great. Since I had just done the floor with Pro Shot a month before I got this, I have to wait until the floor needs polish again, to use the Rejuvenate on it. Overall, I'm pleased with the results and am glad I took a chance on it.rpm-me08

I live in an apartment with dark wood floor that was not taken care of. Even when it was clean, it looked dull and dirty. I'm not going to invest a lot of money in an apartment, so I tried a lot of different products that shine the wood floor, but it's gone when I wash it again and I have to start over. I saw this at my home improvement store and decided to try it, the price is comparable to other products, and I couldn't be happier. Applied this with an applicator for floors, tried using a deck pad in the beginning but failed miserably. Floor applicator pad was much more forgiving. For a novice I would recommend using this product with knee pads and avoid using a pole. So much better control! Stained pretty dark, but I did three coats because deck pad screwed up my first attempt. Directions recommend two coats. Probably best to apply light coats to get the desired darkness. This one dries fast and is tacky within minutes. Good for smaller jobs.Fawn H

I bought this in Brandywine gloss on Amazon. I have engineered hardwood flooring (yes I know) but anyway I wanted to go darker since I had mix matched flooring by combining old with new plus they were pretty beat up. I scuffed sanded with 150 grit and applied this product with a synthetic pad. Not going to lie its a bit of a learning curb and I have a couple of darker areas from fixing bubbles but I love how my floors came out! I definitely would suggest additional coats of a tuff clear poly as I don't think the wood absorbs this like a regular stain and judging by other reviews. I used Minwax oil modified water based an addition and I could see the difference. Make sure you wait a lot longer then 2-3 hours in between coats and remember the more coats the darker you get I wouldn't do more then 2 coats I learned the hard way!!!!Wendy W

This product saves you an unbelievable amount of time. It's great for DIY beginners. Read the instructions carefully. You will need to prep your floors first by sanding them. You have to let the floors dry for about 2 hours but try not to let them dry a full 24 hours; otherwise you will need to sand again. The shade Gunstock wasn't an exact match but it wasn't too different from my actual floor color.PeachyJ

I tested this a few years ago on a classroom floor on the recommendation of an employee. It worked so well that last year we used this in most of our rooms and halls (24 five gallon pails). Performance is great and on par with the products we had been paying $225 for (also in five gallon containers). We prep our floors with a SquareScrub machine and put down 5-6 coats per room with a microfiber flat mop. Rooms are VCT tile and the halls are Terrazzo. We used the high gloss product on the tile walls. The school is 100 year old but shines like new! Thank you for a great product that has saved us a fortune.JanitorDoug

I used this on my laminate floors 2 years ago and it looked nice at first, but over time it left a waxy build up that turned dark and dingy. In order to remove this dingy build up, per customer service, you have to pour ACETONE on the floor to break up the waxy Rejuv build up, then scrape it off. This process is extremely difficult and thus far, I have spent over 80 hours, with another 20 hours to go (900 sq ft total). On the attached pic, the dark area has Rejuv, the lighter area is after I scraped it off. I highly recommend you don't buy this product.Unhappy Customer

I have been buying this product for years. Since I lived in San Diego CA. I now live in Arizona. The floors in this apartment were wood laminate. They looked horrible: dry, lifeless, old, chalky.. they were terrible. I bought a couple of bottles and in no time, my floors were shiny, new-looking, bright and they made me happy to look at. Who needs a house Perfume Spray when you can have this polish. Used on a carved elephant that had been standing in a window for around 10 years, it appeared OK but when I started to polish it was apparent that there was a lot of dust sticking to the body and in crevices. Used an Ultrafine abrasive pad with the wax as instructed by the tin and what a result. After a good scrub with the pad and wax and a two hour rest the dull surface was transformed into a glossy shine with the crevices now looking like wood again. Really brings out the grain and reveals the character of the wood. As the title suggests it smells great too. Will have to work round the house polishing all the other wood furniture now, may need another tin for that.MrFixandrefurbit

Am making a bench seat out of chunky wooden sleepers and bought this based on positive reviews and product description. Goes on well and soaks in to give the wood a nice waxy feel after buffing off half an hour later. I have applied about 5 coats now buffing between each one but it is still not giving a gloss shiny finish as described. Wood remains more of a satin appearance so now possibly wishing I had gone old school and just bought a gloss liquid varnish instead. Good product though and will be great for other furniture I have at home just not the gloss finish I had hoped for. For the last polish off I even used an electric buffer with lambswool bonnet in case my supply of elbow grease had not been good enough but no difference to the finish left. French limed oak beams 'lifted' and lightened the beams in our bedroom so they didn't feel like they were falling on our heads anymore. This product was excellent, easy to use and smells lovely too!! process we used worked a treat: 1. wash the beams with bicarb soda/H2O/vinegar and then let them dry 2.wipe dry-clean beams with Liberon Liming wax working 1-2 feet only. 3.Use LIBERON BLACK BISON PASTE WAX [clear or neutral] to essentially wipe back the liming wax until the beams are as white/light as you want them. You can use the amount of applications to control the shade. The more you put of the clear/neutral the more white smudge is wiped away. The last to be wiped away is the white in the wood grains. We left a mix of both. 4. once dry oil the beams with Tung Oil. Looks contemporary but still retains the historic affect too.Becabroad

I have been using some of the floor shine products on my hardwoods and have always been just sort of happy. Nothing I used on them was shiny enough. A friend recommend I try Bona. The product was no more expensive than the others I has been using. I noticed a difference right away! While my floors always had a sheen to them, the Bona made them look super shiny! I recently bought Bona wood cleaner and I bought a bottle of polish as well after reading the back of the polish and seeing no warnings about using it on pre-treated flooring. I loved the cleaner. I tried the polish on half of my floor because I thought it would enhance the already subtle shine that my pre-treated wood floor has. WRONG MOVE! Do NOT put this polish on a pre-treated floor or any floor that is already shiny. It created a thin film of gray haze. It was so noticeable next to the half of the floor that I had not used it on. After trying to order the polish remover online, I found that it was not available at Amazon, Lowe’s, Home Depo, Walmart, nowhere! I called Bona and told them my story. At first they wanted to tell me to put more polish on and that I hadn’t put enough on. I would not listen to that. Then they sent me a free bottle of polish remover which I was pleased about. My husband and I had to get down on our hands and knees doing small sections at a time, lots of work, arm pain, back issues, to get that polish off our floor. It took about 10 hours and ibuprofen. Be very very cautious of the polish. It SHOULD be clearly marked on the back “DO NOT USE ON PRE-TREATED WOOD FLOORS”. It is not marked. Further, when I went online I found many other horror stories from people. I will buy their cleaner again! I loved it! I will never buy their polish again and I warn all of you to be very very careful. They say to use on a small area first, but they do not give enough warning to use it on a very small area, let it completely dry, and then compare it to the before. Greetings Sir or Madame: I have been using the recommended Bona with the Young Baby Feet on Front of the Packaging for my Lifetime Mahogany Elm Wood Floors for many years, then I could no longer find it on my local store shelves. I tried the Newer, Water Based, Blue Colored, Bona, yet I never achieved, the same quality of Performance, as I had previously received, from the Bona mentioned earlier, than while using the Bona with the Young Baby Feet on Front of the Packaging. I then tried the Bona Polish. It did not work for me. Trying to remove it was a whole new different ballgame. Things became worst. My perfectly Great Looking, Mahogany, Elm, Lifetime, Warrantied, Full of Life, Wood Floors are now Dull, Lifeless, Filled with Streaks. The point of all of this is, I am not a flooring expert, therefore I do not know the solution to this problem. PLEASE HELP ME FIND, AN IMMEDIATE, PERMANENT FIX TO MY DILEMMA ! ! ! It's very beautiful when its done correctly but I am having problems removing it off the floor because of the uneven settings of the polish leaving streak's. I have great appreciation for wood floors and upon trying to remove the polish, what it looked like when I tried to clean it with soap and water, didn't sit well with me or *my floor*. I was going along with the instructions which leaves me with stress trying to remove it from *the floor*. I enjoy easy to remove floor products. I've been using Orange Glo for many years and never found anything as simple to use that produces such outstanding results. Three-quarters of my circa 1950s home is covered with original hardwood floors. Looking at these floors you would think they were a recent addition thanks to Orange Glo. Small scratches disappear with a single application. The simplicity of the process makes this a double thumbs up product. I vacuum up dust and pet hair; use a damp flat microfiber mop and squirt the letter "S" in a 4-foot area, apply with the wood grain and move on. What it looks like wet is pretty much what it looks like dry. The added bonus is the natural orange scent. I tried other products and some dull my floors and others just don't look clean and glossy. I love the orange glow floor polish I just dont understand why they stopped selling it. I finally found some and ordered 6 bottles of it to make sure I would have it. All the floors in my home are hardwood and I wont use anything else to polish with. Please bring it back.Sandy

I received the Minwax Soft Touch finishing was the other day. I was working on a dresser that needed finishing. I rubbed the wax on according to the instructions. It didn't take too long to dry. Then I buffed it a little. The finish was very nice. The cleanup was very easy. I just threw the rags I used away and wiped my hand with some mineral spirits then washed with soap and water. I was very happy with the way my dresser turned out.Bert5620

This was just what my furniture needed. I have some vintage mid century modern wood furniture that needed some love, but I wanted to keep the matte but clean look they orginally had. I used this on the top sliding doors of my 1962 console stereo. It had some minor scratches and had lost it's luster. This product brought life back to this piece! It's easy to use, kind of like car wax buff it on then buff it out. I will always keep a container of this stuff around and can't wait to try it on other pieces.Jendex79
