What I like about the creme wax in comparison to the the regular Gigi ones is that it’s made for sensitive skin and leaves your skin feeling softer after removing the wax strip. I oddly find the creme wax gives me less pain than the regular wax. I’m not sure if it’s the consistency or formula but I did a thorough comparison of the creme and the hard wax on both legs and both of my arms to see the difference. They both removed the hair the same but the creme wax was definitely gentler on my skin, less painful and left my skin feeling softer. I would highly recommend it for at home waxers!aatika.b

So this is definitely a great product to use if you have any sort of extra hair growth. It's sensitive enough for your face. This product applies easily but does take a while to warm up in any sort of warmer. I definitely recommend wearing some sort of rubber glove because it'll be easier to rip the wax off of your skin. The wax does tend to be slightly gooey so you need to make sure that it's left on long enough. There is some stretch to it while peeling the wax off of your skin so that's why I would recommend wearing gloves because it will definitely stick your hands and your fingernails and be very hard to remove. It's a bit messy. BUT I have thick leg hair. Like thick. When I do soft or hard wax. I have to go over 2-3x times for all my hair to remove. But with this was it was just one swipe. Like twice that happen 2 times. I was so impressed. I did let it sit in hot water for a bit. But this is amazing!! Once you really know how to use it. I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). Also love than any stickiness or mess is easily removed with water. Also a tip: place in a shallow bowl of warm water to help wax spread if the temp is cold in your house and gel is too solid!Jess

I’ve always prefered waxing than shaving or plucking. Complete set for all your waxing needs! Wax included is great! No reaction or pain, or slight pain because of the hair being pulled. No pain afterwards. Wax warmer works well. I usually turn it on low to get the slightly warm temperature and to have the wax melt almost soft taffy-like, not watery. Helps get the right amount of wax on the wooden spatula you need for the area you’re doing. Also helps you to peel off the wax better in one strip. Does exactly what it says it will do. I did have the bottle of Pre-epilation oil leak a little it the box, but only a few drops. Not so much that I was dissatisfied. Didn't really use it anyway. There is a learning curve to this. I received my order today and couldn't wait to try it out. I was tired of the shaving and I like to be really clean down there. It does take longer than any 45 minutes as the instructions say. It was about 1-1/2 hours to get it to the right consistency. You have to realize that you are heating up a lot of wax. Now, remember, this is the first time that I had ever done this. You need to make sure that you have about a 1/8 inch layer for it to work right. Yes, there is a little pain when you pull it off, but it subsides quickly and yes, there was the appearance of what looked like diaper rash. As I write this, it has been almost a half hour since I finished and the rash is gone. I did use the post wax cooling gel and it felt amazing. Would post pictures, but I don't imagine they would be accepted. Will never shave down there again. I would definitely recommend this to someone that is interested in this procedure. JohnJohn
The hard wax, which does not require strips, is convenient and minimally painful. I would say that epilators and regular wax are more than twice as painful as this system. Must apply oil first or the wax will not come off your skin. Feel free to use other oils when the small GiGi bottle runs out. I've used almond, coconut, and tea tree and they all work the same. The oil acts as a barrier between the wax and you skin which prevents the painful pulling of your skin. Comes off very smoothly and pulls hair only. Very effective in only removing the hair. Can be used just about anywhere on your body. I usually use an epilator for my underarms (very painful) but when I tried this the first time I barely felt it and it removed 99% of the hair the first time! Make sure to try the wax on the back of your OILED hand to make sure it is not too hot before you apply it to a sensitive area. Then apply to the area you are waxing with a stick that is provided. Apply in the direction of hair growth in the shape of a strip. Apply pressure with your hand after removal. The heater is far more convenient than a microwave and far easier than the strips you warm by rubbing your hands together. Just plug in while you shower and it should be ready when you get out. Maybe 20-30 min heat time with the brown heater lid on. After multiple uses when the wax is full of hair just replace lid on can and discard. New cans are about $11 online. I've waxed for several years so I am not new to it. This wax was not great. It is stringy and didn't remove all the hair, even after several attempts, which you're not supposed to do. The only thing I did like was that it's white so you can see it to clean up. However, it doesn't clean up as easy as the normal GiGi wax. Normally I can just reapply the strip to the leftover wax and pull it off, this doesn't do that. It doesn't seem to stick well to the strips. I actually had it come off the strip mid-pull and fold over on itself. I returned it. Oh, I also bought it to do my eyebrows since I have sensitive skin, this left my face just as red as the normal wax. My eyes are normally red for 2-3 days after waxing my brows and this was no different.

I used this product on my chest and torso. I’ve waxed before with similar products but the store ran out of what I normally use so I bought this. First of all, the instructions are very unclear. It tells me to microwave the cup of wax for 30 seconds. Is this with the lid on or off? What about the seal under the lid? I’m supposed to wait for it to cool down. How long is that for? The popsicle sticks make it hard to control where I want to wax too. Other products have a “stylist” for waxing. The wax itself is very bad. I understand that it’s supposed to be sticky but this was unreasonably so. I thought since it being so sticky that it would pull hairs well. It does not. I do have thick and deep hairs, but out of 10 it would only pull 1. Not only that but the wax pulled off the first layer of skin on a few spots on my chest. On top of that the wax is incredibly annoying to clean off the skin, as it does not stay and pull off at once. Because of that I have to scrub hard on irritated or lack of skin to get the wax off. The product comes with a tiny bottle of oil to help clean off the wax. It doesn’t help at all. And if it did it wouldn’t be enough. Initially, I wasn’t inlove with this product. It was sticky and I didn’t know how to handle the mess. It requires time and patience. Firstly, purchase a bottle of jojoba oil. Rub it onto your hands before beginning. Take your time throughout the process. Don’t worry about the mess (because the jojoba oil will remove the stickiness from your bathroom). After a while, you’ll know how to contain the mess by using thin layers and small amounts of the product at a time. This product is perfect for coarse hair. I’ve used it all over including, armpit, bikini area and legs. It will remove all the hair efficiently. Always remember to smooth the wax paper thoroughly and this will avoid any left over residue, but if you do have residual wax, grab a paper towel with jojoba oil and just rub it out – it works. Make certain your body is clean, you’ve exfoliated the day before and you’re working with a surface clear of lotion, oils, deodorant etc. After you’re done, moisturize the area with oil. NOT for thick or course hair. Bought for my bikini line. I did everything right (clean, dry, little baby powder to protect my skin) and every single time it stuck to both the skin and the paper strip equally. The wax looks like when you halve a grilled cheese and it streeetches in the middle, except your hairs are stuck in there too. Even when I tried letting it cool on my skin, it was still gooey like glue, and I ended up BRUISED from all the pulling and tugging. It was extremely painful, but I kept trying to make it work assuming it was operator error. I tried applying it thinner, thicker, hotter, colder, this direction, that direction, NOTHING worked. I got this a while ago in hopes to not have to razors anymore. I have used Nair once before but that was a liquid kind of like lotion in a bottle. So here's my thoughts on the wax strip. They are a nice small convention size. When you separate them you end up with 2 strips which I did not expect. They come with what I describe as wet naps which are covered in oil. My guess is baby oil. They are to clean the excess wax off the area. I did a test on my leg first to see if it would be painful which is the only positive I can say is it was painless. The annoying part is all the wax the strips leave behind. I tried the wipes that came with it which just wanted to stick to the area. The strips did not appear to remove any hair. Frustrated with the wax still on my leg I tried a baby wipe which just made a layer of wipes stick to my leg. So then I got in the shower and used hot water and soap which I thought worked until I got out and dried off to discover white from the baby wipe still there and my leg was still sticky. Next I tried hand sanitizer knowing it has alcohol in it and it still didn't remove the wax. After that I tried peroxide and yeah the wax is still currently on my leg. Frustrated and defeated I gave up. Only thing I can come up with is GooBGone which my bf is going to get now. Needless to say I'm glad I tested these on my leg and not my face or bikini area. Funny how as a mature female, hair growth on the legs and under arms decreases, but facial hair growth triples! That being said, I'm not quite growing a beard and mustache, but it sure feels like it. While I can plunk the neck/chin hairs, the hair on my upper lip requires more attention. I've tried shaving it, but hate how tender the area feels for a few days afterwards. I've tried having it professionally waxed, but no matter which salon I use, the area ALWAYS blusters. I was a bit anxious to try these straps, because of the pain I associate with upper lip waxing. I must say, it wasn't that bad at all. Thankfully. I applied the strip, which leaves the wax in place. I then used the back of the same strip, to remove it. Really easy. These wax strips come in two different sizes, one for upper lip and the other for bikini area. When you pull them apart you can use both pieces and there is no need to warm them in your hand before use. Both my daughter and I used them with varying results. Her soft upper lip hair was removed easily. I had a few hairs that were shorter and thicker on my upper lip that it was not able to remove. I have had my upper lip hair professionally waxed before and these strips offer a good alternative. Moving to the bikini area, it did remove hair, but took multiple attempts and was not a pain-free experience. As I moved to new areas I lost my will to “rip the strip” and “embrace the pain”, and waved my white flag, letting my hair follicles win the battle. I have never had a professional bikini wax because I don’t really want to expose myself to strangers. So these strips will allow you to remove some hair in the privacy of your own home. I think the only way I could use these successfully on my bikini area would be if I had some help. It is hard to do by yourself and eventually I just couldn’t muster up the strength to rip the hair off anymore. The post waxing towelettes are a must to remove all the excess stickiness. These wax strips are the worst. I used the ones for the upper lips, and they ripped off my skin causing burning along with redness. My upper lip hairs were removed but I still had a mustache that wasn't made up of hair but redness. The redness took a while to fade away along with the burning. If you are reading this and have used this product getting affected use burn gel and aloe vera. This is one of the worst products I have ever used in my life. I followed every direction exactly. Most of the hair was completely untouched only now it’s sticky. I can see on one of the strips where it seems to have taken off the top layer of skin. Tons of wax was left on the skin and no about of scraping or scrubbing will remove it. I just spent 30 minutes trying to get that garbage off my face and I still didn’t get it all. Everything hurts, some of my skin is now raw and it’s still covered in hair. I was super excited to try this! I got 30 strips for $7, so I was excited about the price too! I was fully expecting the mild pain that goes along with waxing- but it’s worth it for 8 weeks of not having to shave. To my disappointment, I’m going to have to go shave anyway. Following the directions exactly, and the strips left a lot of hair behind. My boyfriend and I got bored today and we decided that he could wax my legs and I could wax his back since we both hadn’t shaved in awhile. I literally haven’t laughed this hard… ever. If I could post the video on here, I would. Honestly a great idea for bored couples needing something new to spend time together. I watched some YouTube reviews after I bought it and they all said it sucked and it didn’t work and LET ME TELL YA those people are big fat liars. You stick that puppy on there and leave it for about thirty seconds and then yank it off and ALL that hair is gone. We only had two problems the whole time. 1) He pulled too much at an angle one time and it ripped so he had to do it again (ouch). And 2) Idk if you can pull it too fast but one time the strip came off and the wax didn’t. The wipes are amazing though. They’re super slick and oily and with the tiniest bit of pressure that stuff comes right off. Highly recommend a cold wet washcloth to place on the area after you rip it. Anyways I’d give these bad boys an 8/10 for functionality and 10/10 for entertainment.Madeline
Very disappointing. The packaging and color is super cute but the results were not. I usually get Clean Easy wax strips but since I couldn't find any, I bought these. I cleaned my armpit with toner and added talcum to ensure drieness and I popped it on. It only caught one hair and was the wax is too soft and wet for my taste. Then the wipes are drenched in a oil, which was nice I guess but it leaves your fingers and hand all oily. Had to wash my hands twice because after the first strip, I wouldn't be able to pull the next one since it was slippery. Also I couldn't rip "too fast" otherwise paper you're holding rips off. These wax strips are the worst. They smell like grape cough syrup, and have a jelly like texture to them instead of a hard wax. They dont do a good job of ripping the hair out, maybe 1/3 of the hairs under the strip come out, most of them just get broken off at the skin or aren't affected at all. Yes I was using them correctly. This is not my first time waxing at home, I read all the instructions, and even after using them correctly they didnt work anywhere near as well as any other wax strip. They're all garbage. So now the hair will grow back unevenly where some were broken off while others were successfully pulled out. Don't buy this product.Krista

So, first of all, the smell of this entire product is AMAZING! It smells better than any other wax strips I've ever used and you truly can't miss the smell even upon first opening the box. It's very aesthetically pleasing and again the smell truly gets me excited to use this product. However, when it was time for application I ran into a few stumbles. I needed my brows done bad so that's where I tested it first and then tried taking off a few facial hairs as well. First of all, after applying the wax strips and pressing in the same direction as the hair growth I found that the actual wax itself on the strip would sort of ooze out when I would try to press down my hairs prior to removing the strip. Then, even after removing the strip in the opposite direction as hair growth, it left a considerable amount of wax product around the area it was used on. Now after cleaning up with the finishing wipe I did notice that the wipe itself was extremely oily and although I know it needs to have oil to take off the remaining wax on my skin, I did feel that it was a bit too oily for my liking and had to wipe off my hands constantly because they were so greasy. After completing the process a full time through I examined the hair that was on the strip that I just used and found it to be very underwhelming. Although my skin feels as if there was a lot of hair removed, the strip told a different story and barely had any hair that was picked up. So, I tried a few more times and finally started to see a difference when I waxed the under arch of my brows and went over the failed area to try again. This time I took scissors and cut long ways and in half so I could manipulate it so that I felt comfortable putting the strip on more critical areas of my brows. I found this worked considerably better and was quite pleased with the results afterward. All in all, glee face wax strips biggest achievement is the amazing smell this product has through and through. With modifications to the a-little-bit-too-sticky wax formula and the tad-bit-too-oily finishing wipes, this product has the potential to be the leading face wax kit on the market! Upon an updated release of this product I would definitely recommend this to the others but until those critical changes are addressed and altered, I would not recommend this product yet.Ashley G.
I was truthfully a bit disappointed with these. I read a bunch of reviews stating that they work great, so I was really looking forward to trying them. I followed and read the directions precisely and didn’t have great luck with them. They didn’t get all of the hair as they should and you can’t place another strip over the same spot, so that was a bit of a nuisance. It definitely gets some, but doesn’t leave you super smooth as they claim, unfortunately. The packaging is super cute and takes out to me though and I really like the idea of them. I just feel they have a bit of room for improvement! Ultimately, they are easy to use, just don’t work how I expected. I wouldn’t say that it is worth the pain in my opinion. I suppose they do at minimum help you get rid of some and make the process of shaving easier. I also don’t like that the after wipes aren’t wrapped individually – makes drying out more likely.Jazmyne

I bought this for 1/3 of the price compared to Bliss azulene waxing kit. I was able to use a few tablespoons to heat vs a whole container of wax. Note- use on the stove in a double boiler. Do not microwave in a plastic cup etc. gets way too hot. The blue azulene wax works the best for me, much better than the honey type waxes. Better and no strips to buy. Good on coarser hair also. I don’t do many reviews but this product was worth a good review to share. Highly recommended
I was skeptical of using this type of wax, as I had never used hard wax before. Always the soft wax with strips. Let me just say it takes some getting use to, but not too bad. I gave myself a bikini/Brazilian wax once with the soft wax and sorry for the TMI, but right above my cl*it I had a tuft of hair that I could not get, ended up with a landing strip, as I coudn't get the hair off as the soft wax I was using was just not made for that. When I bought this and did the bikini/Brazilian NO LIE this stuff got the tuft of HAIR!!! AMAZING!!! I could see the roots on all the hairs that got pulled out! I wish they made bigger bags! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
I got spoiled by using this wax first. I got a couple of others to try formulas, and this is hands down the best there is. A thin coat is all that's necessary. Hardens quickly, and stays in one solid piece. Does not crumble or break apart. Does not reheat when in contact with skin. Soothing formula for my very sensitive skin – even used it on my face. I'm listing things I hate about the others now that I've used this! So easy to work with. Melts quickly and evenly, and it's a SUPER PRETTY deep blue pearl hue. I absolutely love this wax. I wish I hadn't bought the hard wax that's a different formula. This is the best! I'm buying more! Stock up on this one, especially when it's on sale!

I’m kind of heartbroken right now but I’m going to try to give a little bit of justice to the product. As a background I have really sensitive skin and usually I’m scared of trying new products such as waxing kits and that stuff but, I let myself go into this because I needed a really fast way to get rid of my facial hair above my lips. So I bought this Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip Kit Face Bikini. And it does a good job but if you have sensitive skin please look for another options, I used it four hours after I exfoliate my skin With a sensitive skin exfoliating that I usually use for my bikini area And then I decide to use the strips, but as soon as I take them out, my skin will feel like it was burning and 72 hours after that my skin still feeling really itchy And I have some kind of scab on my skin.isabel.s
This new version is perfect! I use it for bikini line waxing so this review is based on waxing that area. It's sooo much better than the previous version of these strips. The new formulation gets all hairs off first time. I had no sensitivity. Absolutely perfect. A tip for first-time users: yes, this is a pretty tightly gripping wax strip, so you do have to rip it off literally as quickly as you can (quicker than their previous strips) so you'll get all the wax off with no pain or residue. This comes naturally to me since I've been waxing so many years, but new users unfamiliar with these strips will need to be faster and grip tighter on removal than with other brands. So long as you do that, it's fine. The massive bonus is that it gets all the hairs with it, which the previous version of the strips (and other brands) don't do – I could literally not find any other strip that handles coarse bikini line hair as well as this Sally Hansen one. My skin was fine after using this, no redness etc. I did NOT use the numbing wipes as I don't generally get any pain and I just didn't want to add a chemical to my skin. So I can't comment on how the numbing wipes work. I can't use Veet strips since my skin breaks out after so bad that ppl can see it (ugh) but these Sally Hansen body strips were fine.vickyfrankfort
I love these straps and have used these for years. I hate to have the need, but my facial hair is dark and I feel so much more confident when I'm not rocking a lady stash. One warning though, don't go over the same area more than once. If you miss any the first pass clean it up with tweezers because they will take skin and scarring does not help with this problematic issue.casandra .r

Okay, so I was skeptical. I have very thick body hair and get terrible razor burn and have to shave every day to keep my legs smooth. I also have not had success with wax in the past. I stopped waxing because it was super painful, would leave terrible bruising on my pale skin, and wouldn't even remove the hair from the root. The hairs would mostly just break off, even when used correctly. Not so with sugaring! From my very first application, even while figuring out the flicking motion, it was easy, much less painful, left no bruising, and actually removed my hair! I can't stop telling my friends about this guys. I love this. After sugaring my legs once, I didn't have to pull out the sugaring pot again for two weeks – on the first try! Super excited I tried this out and will definitely be incorporating this into my routine from here on out. The best part is that it's water soluble if I make a mess (which I'm prone to do). One note: I have had some trouble figuring out the flicking motion when sugaring my armpits. I don't know why I'm struggling with this specific area, but I would love to see a tutorial on this, because I just have not had success! It's hard to get the skin taut enough and flick the sugar off without pulling the skin and creating some pulling and bruising. Anyways, that's all. Love this product! Highly recommend!Elizabeth W.
I have gotten Brazilian waxes for years now. I have a major issue with shaving my armpits because it always irritates and gives me ingrown hairs, and I constantlyyyyyy have to shave them. When I saw an ad for this product on Instagram I thought, what the heck. I won’t be taking on the mountainous task of a Brazilian anytime soon, but pits seem like something I could tackle. Used on my legs and armpits. I started with my legs and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was – picked it up on the first try and was able to do both legs with just one glob of sugar each. Nearly painless! Armpits – totally different story!! I think because my pits were warm, the sugar was gloopy and sticky and never hard enough to actually rip off, so it was just a huge mess. I ended up standing directly in front of a fan, which helped a bit, but next time I will definitely ice my pits before applying any sugar. It was also a challenge because of the angles. And, SO painful (and unexpectedly bloody)! I think I just have super thick armpit hair. That said… it’s been 1.5 weeks and I still don’t have enough regrowth to even be at the point where I would want to shave my armpits (which I usually do every other day). Just tried this wax for my legs and it was the worst wax I've ever used. This wax does not grip hairs very well. I found myself having to repeatedly wax over the same areas twice, and I STILL have tons of stray hairs that weren't pulled out. I also had a hard time getting this wax to a comfortable temperature. I have no idea why, but it seemed to either feel too hot or it was too stiff to apply effectively when it was at a comfortable temperature. Terrible wax. Don't waste your time and money. I threw out the remainder of this wax.
