Was pretty excited to review this product since I was just getting started with renovating my yard, this all-in-one spray did it's job. I followed the instructions that are on the back of the bottle. I sprayed my yard well before we actually mowed it. Waited about a week after I started nothing that it was killing all of the weed. My grass really needed something that was going to help it grown better without the weeds and make it a bit healthier. It does look a lot greener since I started using this product it has removed about 85% of the weeds so far, due to our bad weather (floods) right now might have to restart the process. You can also used it on your flower beds or little garden that's where I saw the quickest improvement. Over all I really was impressed but the quality of the product, the simplicity of how to use it and apply it was a simple 1,2 3 step that anyone can do it. It a battery operated device which I feel it makes it a lot easier to use. Since you just have to hold the bottle and spray away in the areas that are necessary. I like that its reusable so you can just buy a galon and attach the sprayer to the bottle and go to work. I do recommend the product to anyone who needs to get their yard back on track this really works wonders. Especially if you have lots of stubborn weeds it's really effective and efficient.Flaca13

I just used 9 bottles of this concentrate on my 2 acre property 1 1/2 weeks ago and am very disappointed. It killed some dandelions and other broadleaf weeds, but didn’t do a thing for the mature crabgrass I have everywhere. The instructions say I can retreat hard to treat weeds in 2 weeks, but I don’t want to waste another $100+, when the first application didn’t do anything. I’m switching to a different brand that offers a larger concentration for less money for a second application. I hope the new brand does a better job!Leah2

Worked like a charm after following the direction / product label at Syngenta Tenacity website . First broadcast Application whitened all crabgrasses (50% of Lawn were crabgrass and dandelions and few grassy weeds don't know what those were) at an application rate of 15 ml plus 45 ml surfactant on 6000 sqft area. Second broadcast application (after two weeks) of another 15ml and 45 ml surfactant made all weeds DEAD (DRY). Total 3.5 Weeks to kill all weeds. No existing Kentucky Bluegrass was whitened. Be patient with it. The Crabgrass will turn brown and slowly die overtime. I had two days of dry weather, and now it has become cold and rainy. Every evening when coming home from work I'll see more browning of the Crabgrass. Seedings Spout are still visible and you need mow your lawn twice to make certain that you capture as much of the Seeding as possible. Started to turn the crab grass white within 3-7 days. Turns yellow brown after that. The product is enough to spray my whole 15,000 sq ft lot and still have 75% of bottle left. After using Preen weed preventer in a drum in western NY for years I had expected good results from any product w/ that name. I wasn't, however, prepared for the toughness of weeds in rural, northwestern NC. Even when I changed to using the Southern formula to deter weed growth, it didn't seem to work in my newly established flower beds. When I started 2 small 4' x 4' raised vegetable beds a few years ago I though I'd give the Preen for vegetables weed prevention a try. It worked good in the beginning, but then I was confused by the instructions. One place said to refresh it every 4 to 6 weeks, while another said to use it weekly. Since I was used to the every other month method, that's what I did, but it was too late because weeds had already started to grow. So, I did some hand weeding & shook out more of the granules to deter more weeds, but then I lost several plants to deer, rabbits, etc. I gave up that season & put in different vegetables the next year & started using the Preen every week. Then I ended up having to have surgery & there went that year's crop! I still have a bottle & a half of the Preen for vegetables, but between bad health & nibbling animals, I only do container gardening now on my screened porch, so I have no need to use any sort of weed prevention. Perfect to use as a refill bottle if you have the ready to spray attachment already so you can hook it right up to your garden hose. If you do not have the attachment from previous use of the product its easy to add to a spray bottle after you add water. The cap allows for you to measure out how much you need if going the spray bottle route. Complete disappointment. Bought 3 bags of this weed control. Followed the directions to the letter. I even moistened the weeded area with surfactant to allow the granular product to adhere as noted on the bag. Temperatures were right. No rain, no mowing, no worries. 2 weeks later and the clover, crabgrass and others look better than before. The bag should read weed fertilizer and not weed control. It works immediately but doesn’t kill to the roots as glyphosate does. So weeds start to green and grow back after about 2-3 weeks. Still I’ll use it on our brick sidewalks and patio since pets and barefoot kids can walk on it with no harm. Smells nice with clove oil and orange. I've used roundup for years and this is my third purchase of a self contained tank/sprayer combination. The container is now made of thinner plastic and when I set the brand new full container down, some tiny thing (had to be a twig or grain of sand) punched a hole in it. I kept wiping moisture off the bottom, wondering where it was coming from. After using it I set it in the garage. The next day I came out to find a huge pool of chemical spreading under my deep freeze and across the garage floor. There is still about half the material in the container. What do I do with it? I have it in a plastic bag but need to figure out how to contain this and will use their contact form to get advice. (I tried to dry off the bottom and apply duct tape. The only time duct tape has failed me. The roundup just keeps coming out under the tape.) This is usually a useful product, if the packaging doesn't fail. I purchased this product on 5/13/22. I have a spine problem so I had to hire a yard man to come out and spray my beds.The fisrt visit he charged me $40. I watched as he sprayed well the entire area. On the bottle is stated: visible results in 3 hours. I went outside in 3 hours and nothing! No results whatsoever. I went back in 6 hours. and Nothing. I continued looking for a couple of days to no avail. It did not kill any grass or even the tiny weeds that were visible. I called the company after several days, and the customer service rep checked and returned to the phone stating it might take up to 2 weeks total.. I waited longer and then had the yard man come back and respray to no avail!. This time he charged me $60. During that time it was very hot, dry weather, and the weeds should have died by then. I saw a tv ad yesterday for this product which stated, GUARANTEED RESULTS OR YOUR MONEY FULLY REFUNDED. ! I have now spent $100 to spray these few weeds and grass + a total of $17.17 for the spray, making it a total of$117. 11.Today it has been 2 wseeks adn 1 day, since he first sprayed with no results!author1

I don't like to use chemicals of any kind, but sometimes, the proliferation of unwanted vegetation is more than manual labor can control. The use of this product does not contaminate the soil, so that replanting the area is possible. As with any chemical, following the label instructions is a must! I was spraying weeds and noticed the amount of spray coming from the nozzle was very restricted so I tried pumping the sprayer and found that it had plenty of pressure. I took the wand apart and found the filter was clogged by some white slimy stuff. So I opened the tank and found the slimy stuff was in the tank. Don't know what causes it.Kimbo60

For the past few years, I have tried almost everything to get rid of creeping charlie in my yard. I was recommended to use Ortho® Weed B Gon® Chickweed, Clover & Oxalis Killer For Lawns Ready-To-Spray by a local store. About 3 weeks ago at the beginning of September, I sprayed my first application and noticed a major difference within the first week. Most of the creeping charlie, along with other weeds such as the 3 leaf clover and dandelion, were gone. I just applied a second application as i want to nip it in butt this time so i hopefully will not have to deal with it in the spring. Thankfully though. I know what product I will need just in case I do need it in the spring. This product really does the job. I plan to plant grass seed in the weedy areas and over seeding the lawn around mid October. Thanks for a product that actually does what it says! One of the reasons I may have refrained from using it in the past is that it is a bit more than other brands.September

Purchased and applied this product a few weeks ago under proper conditions. One week later, clover and chickweed are no different than before application. This year is The Year of The Lawn. Overseeded last fall and this spring is planned to get rid of all weeds, grow tall and prepare for more fall work. Sprayed two bottles of product over large areas and all have NO results. Sent an email to Ortho and have not received any response. Felt it was fair to work direct rather than posting online but that did not work so here I am. I found this product at a big box retailer, and it seemed to be the only option that advertised creeping charlie and oxalis killer in a water soluable spray. I waited a couple of days for ideal conditions: about 60, light wind, and no rain in the forecast. Sadly, not only did it do nothing for the creeping charlie and oxalis, it also did not kill the dandelions, plantain, or thistle, which usually is very easy to kill with even a cheaper product. The product dispensed in about 12 minutes which is close to the 15 minutes the packaging indicated, so I assume the concentration was correct. I'm confused why I couldn't get this to work.bumpywx

We had creeping Charlie In Our front yard and my husband used this to get rid of it. It worked! And killed half of our lawn with it! which is exactly what it is supposed to do, so that error was on us. On the plus side, we have no more creeping Charlie! I just came in from spraying the fence line around our house , sidewalk … etc. I decided to make another round, because I had so much left, the weeds were ALREADY dying.
