Best Wet Dry Vacuum For Tile Floors (2024 Update)

I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). If you're looking for a nice hard surface vacuum/mop and this fits your budget, give it a look. I was impressed with it for the most part.swemoney

I never taught about using a vacmop before i was kind of skeptical and it would take me a while to clean my hardwood floors .. was kind of an event to say. Not anymore… thanks to this Tineco Floor One s5 Extreme i’m actually looking forward to do it now. I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

The Stanley Wet/Dry Vacuum comes with several attachments and is quickly and easily assembled right out of the box. I love that it comes with a detailed owner’s manual and that there are resources for replacement parts and other assistance listed in the manual as well as on the box. It comes with a two-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. There are two different ports on the Stanley wet/dry vacuum, one for vacuuming up wet or dry messes and the other for blowing debris such as leaves. There are also two different filters, one for wet vacuuming and another for dry vacuuming. This is our 3rd Shop Vac. My husband is so pleased with all the nice features on the Stanley along with it doing a great job. We love the large handle on the top that the cord wraps around. The switch is easy on or off. The handle and switch are bright yellow as are the latches on each side and the Stanley brand name on the Shop Vac. The colour makes the on/off switch so easy to see. The clamps on the side of the top and bottom are easy to open and close. The hose attachment is a lock in hose, i.e., it has a quick release feature where you press the front part of the hose that goes into the Vac that locks the hose into the Vac and will not come out for the feature where you suck things up or into the Vac. On the lid there is a hole for the hose to blow things. It locks into this hole also. We like the fact that the Stanley Poly Vac rolls so easily. This Stanley Wet/dry Poly Vac can be used inside the home with no worry about your floors or rugs being damaged. We could have used this after the recent hurricane when the plumbing failed in the tub (perhaps a coincidence) and all the water we filled the tub with leaked into our bedroom and was coming up through the wood floors. This Stanley Vac would have easily sucked up all that water and we could have used the blower to dry with instead of a hair dryer. Our other vacs are not as nice as this one and would have damaged our floors. We know that they damage tile floors as when we had our bathroom tiled the vac used by the tile man cracked some tiles and damaged the grout in several tiles. I am a Spark Reviewer for Walmart and was sent a free Stanley 10 Gallon 6 Peak horse power Wet/dry Poly Vac to review. I have to say that this is one solid, heavy duty wet/dry vacuum. Right out of the box you can see that the quality of the Stanley wet/dry vacuum lives up to the Stanley name. The wet/dry vacuum is large, with the castors attached it stands about 24 ½” high and is at its widest point 53” around. There are 4 large castors made of plastic wheels on metal bases which are very wide and sturdy making the vacuum very stable. With the wheels being plastic it won’t scratch your floors. The two side latches to keep the top on are wide and the top secures tightly. The power cord is very heavy duty and about 10’ long. The wet/dry vacuum comes with a 6’ hose and two 20” extenders to allow you a good reaching distance. Included is a filter for dry vacuuming and a foam filter for wet vacuuming, a crevice type attachment, a floor attachment, an attachment for general pickups, a disposable filter bag for drywall/plaster/soot particles and a garden hose adapter. With the exception of the hose extenders, all of the other attachments store nicely in the canister. The hose and adaptors are also made of heavy duty plastic and won’t scratch surfaces when working. All of the attachments and hose store neatly inside the canister for storage. Changing it over from a dry vacuum to a wet vacuum takes less than 10 minutes. As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan

Its very easy to assemble with nothing more than a Philips head screwdriver. The bag is a great feature to conveniently store various attachments. The casters roll smoothly and quietly on my floor. The suction power is quite strong. Im very happy with it. If theres anything that I would like to see Dewalt do a little differently, its would be to give the extension tubes a dedicated slot to store vertically. The bag can hold them just fine, but they stick out because theyre longer than they bag. Still 5 stars. I love this vac.KittenSlayer

I have a water garden inside an old boat…have had it for years. Over time it had become a bog…totally full of decayed leaves, etc. After scooping out perhaps a third of them, in an effort to totally empty the boat, I realized it would take me forever so came up with the idea of using a shop vac. I really didnt know much about them, never having used one. But took a chance on this one and Im glad I did. It worked amazingly well and with a lot less effort than manually trying to clear the boat. It sucked up the water, no problem, and that was easy to drain so we could start sucking up the muck. It also handled that with no problem. I had been advised to remove the filter before tackling the boat and was glad I did because it probably wouldve been ruined otherwise. So thank you for a well made product that saved us a lot of time and energy! I dont imagine I will be using it very often, but at least I know it will handle whatever job we have.A

This is a newer, bigger shop vac than I had previously, and I couldn’t be happier! When I saw the size and build of this thing, I thought wow, it’s going to take 3 men and a boy to move this around😬……..nope, surprisingly lightweight for how well it’s made! Casters on the bottom are great for when you pick up liquids and need to move the unit to drain it, AND they are smart like a tiny fox for putting in a drain plug! I have a pond in my house, and use it to clean inaround it, this suckerlol, literally is my best purchase in a long time! I especially like the closed bag you can apply in the barrel for fine dust/dirt so it doesn’t just blow all of it into a finer dust out the exhaust like my previous one, that was not a DewaltSuper happy with the unitthought the price was very competitive!Becky

Works great! Unfortunately my 20 plus year old small shop vac I use for vehicles and garage died from drywall dust abuse so I had to get another and this works great as it's replacement. One downside is it should come with the BRUSH attachment for the price it was. Now to just use my bigger one for the construction stuff….anonymous

I originally bought the 12 gal size but returned it in favor of the 6, which I was really happy that I did. For regular household use, this is perfect. Some of the reviews were complaining about the casters; while they required some force to get in, they seem to be pretty locked in. I'd rather have to apply some force rather than have the wheels fall off. The 20' long power cord is also nice as it gives plenty of room to work with. The hose is a good length. Overall this is a really great machine for the price.Zamfir

Our Shop-Vac 6 gal 3 hp wet/dry vac gave out after many years of service. After researching way too many choices online, I settled on the Craftsman 6 gal. Corded Wet/Dry Vacuum 3-1/2 hp. While the machine size was what we wanted, and the price was right, especially with the Ace Rewards $20 discount, I was concerned that it came with so few attachments and a 1-7/8" hose that is not compatible with the assortment of 1-1/4" Shop-Vac tools we have acquired over the years. Ace does not sell a 1-7/8" to 1-1/4" adapter, but I assumed I'd find one somewhere online. When I got the vacuum home and put it together (easy assembly, by the way) I found that the machine end of the Craftsman 1-7/8" hose is identical to the that of the Shop-Vac 1-1/4" hose – each will plug into the machine's intake for a secure, no-leak fit. So, problem solved, and no adapter needed. We prefer the flexibility of the old 1-1/4" hose to the new, more rigid 1-7/8" hose for most of our around-the-house needs. If we have a bigger job that will benefit from the larger diameter hose, we'll simple switch hoses. The machine seems durable, with ample power and suction using either hose, and should meet our wet/dry vac needs for years to come.Paul

I work in residential property maintenance and I bought this to use for small water spills that tend to occur. It works great for that, and is easy to carry around because of the small size. One unforeseen benefit of this item is the small hose, relative to other wet dry vacs, is great for blowing clear a clogged drain line. I had a clogged condensate line on a furnace, and I set the vac up to blow and put it over the drain on the furnace side of the line. I was able to blow the blockage out very quickly because the hose is roughly the same size as the drain pipe. I did the same thing with a washing machine drain that was running slow. I put the hose over the hole and used my hand to create a seal around the top of the drain and blew the blockage out of the way, and then flushed the drain with water. It worked perfectly and I did not have to use any chemicals or a drain snake. This item is very versatile if you think outside of the box for other ways to take advantage of the features.Daviddddd

Okay so we love the shop vac because of the fact they have great suction, can be used to soak up water, Or I can use it to blow our deck of any debris and since we have a big house with 8 active teenagers , and 2 dogs theres always some part of our house we are doing some type of repair or deep cleaning and I always use my shop vac. but after 6years my shop vac broke and so my other half seen how miserable i was he went and brought me another. Except he saw this mini sized one and figured that would work because then i dont have to be lugging the big one around. BIG MISTAKE! this mini or 2.5 gallon one is such a dissappointment! first of all the suction sucks i find my self going back and sweeping or using my other vacuum to vacuum over. It smells like its burnt, and I cant even blow an ant off my deck with this! for $40 bucks i couldve just brought me the regular one and i would have been very satisfied! sad to say we brought this in july. So, how do i use the warranty and is it possible to get the regular one?sadken

The hose on this thing won't stay on. Theres NOTHING in the manual that explains in detail how to lock it in and i have looked it over extensively but cannot find a way. You attach it, twist it, push it, nothing works. Within a few minutes of using it the hose inevitably falls out leading to extreme angry frustration. There look to be little notches that catch but i have tried and they do nothing. I had a cheap $10 wet vac before this that lasted me about 10 years w/o a problem. No more craftsman products for me. This thing is junk, and to make matters worse it's impossible to talk to anyone in the company that actually knows the products.Joe4563

Bought primarily to clean my vehicle. Includes a smaller floor attachment and also a narrow one for getting into tight places typical in a vehicle. Suction is good if you don’t use the wand, and is only ok with the wand. The hanger is held to the wall by 3 screws in the centre of the unit. It is not very sturdy so I will likely add a few holes and screws to brace it a bit better.Nico

Portability and wall storage were the key factors for my purchase. Suction power is very good and all the included accessories are a big plus. Only downside for me was that the plastic attachment for the cover on the blower port was a bit cheap and difficult to “hook” onto the body of the vac. In fact mine broke just trying to connect it. Not a big deal and mainly the reason why I took off a star. Other wise the thing works great and looks good on my garage wall.Danny

Bought this Vac to replace the one we had in the garage. My husband loves it! Was easy to hang on the wall. Amazing suction. We don't have to empty it every time we use it, like our old one, unless you want to … it holds quite a bit. Wish the cord was 5 ft longer so we could get to the other side of the garage w/o using an extention cord … thats the only complaint but the cord is longer than most other vacs like this. Great, except for the fact that it is smelly. It redistribute the dirty air into the room. One has to fully open the windows before use. Also, the large nozzle just dropped on the floor and broke. Now, I have to find a replacement. I was snapped into place, but now I can no longer snap it back in. The flap that holds it in place is in flimsy plastic.SSL-ADT

I've only had this vac for a few days now but I put it to good use cleaning my shop. So far I'm pleased with the performance of the machine. It has good suction, I like the tool caddy that mounts right on the vac for easy access to the accessories, and good capacity for dust and dirt. The two negatives I have for the vac is the power cord is a bit short and the vacuumn hose as well. Other than those two items I like my purchase and think it's a fair value for the price.rb1995

I've had this for over two years and used it around the house and for the car. Its a great unit – sucks well and is not too big. I love the storage for the extensions. Canadians be aware: if you want to get the hepa filter cartridge for this, it is almost impossible to find in Canada. Rona / Lowes doesnt sell it – I mean why would they support a product they sell?? I waited a for a year for the 'big online retailer' to get it in stock. In the meantime I called every supplier I could find and nobody had the hepa filter in Canada. Might not be an issue if you dont need any upgrades – but it just shows that Dewalt doesnt provide much support in Canada for this product. My other complaint is that the tool end of the hose is 1-7/8 inch. This is a rarer size – so if you ever want to hook this up to more standard sized dust collection ports (e.g. 2-1/2 inch) you will spend a lot of time or money trying to find an adapter that works correctly. Or you'll be using a bunch of duct tape. I tried many parts from big box stores – I eventually gave up and 3d printed the adapter that I needed. Overall I like the vac – its sturdy, has good power, and works well. I bought it on sale thinking it was a great 'deal'. Yet I've spent more time and money on getting this to work with other things than I should have to. Next time I'm buying a brand that has parts readily available, uses more common standards, and backed by local stores for parts.WoodyBwoi

My husband was over the moon to get this STANLEY 6 Gallon 4 Peak HP Poly Wet Dry Vacuum. He had a different brand that recently died, so the timing was perfect. As it says in the title, you can vacuum both wet and dry. You can use it as a regular vacuum; just add the filter. If you want to do wet, you need to remove the filter and make sure there isn't a bag inside. There are multiple attachments to meet your needs. The cord and the hose are pretty long, so you shouldn't get tangled up. There is good suction too. It rolls around pretty effortlessly. Overall great product!MD20

I do love wet dry vacs! This one is especially nice because it's a manageable size. The suction is excellent, as is the blower. It comes with several attachments including floor and crevice, wet and dry pickup bags, and the hose and wands. The wheels move smoothly and are made to fit solidly into the machine with grooved slots and a screw so they are very stable. The cord is 10' long. My other one is just too huge to be practical. This one is light enough to lift and easily move around. This can be placed inside my car while cleaning. Since it holds six gallons it has a great capacity too!Cheryl

I got this wet/dry shop vac to clean out my car, clean up messes and anything else that might. Also to suck up water if the need ever arises. It is very easy to put together, the only real assembly is to attach the wheels that slide on and then attach with one screw, so just a screwdriver is needed. The hose, the disposable dust bag and the 3 tools come inside the vacuum when you pull it out of the box. It also comes with 2 extension poles. The vac has plenty of suction to pull sand out of floor boards, clean off work tables and whatever else is needed. It sucks it up very good. It is very easy to open up and dump out after you are done. The the ring that holds the on is a compression ring instead of a screw on. It comes with a foam filter for water applications and also a cloth filter to use for dry applications. It also comes with a bucket liner to contain the trash. This vacuum can also be used as a blower but simply changing which port you plug the hose into. Just make sure the bucket is cleaned out before you try to use the blower. I would recommend cleaning the cloth filter after every use so you don't get a clogged filter and lose suction. The size is about a 5 gallon bucket on top of each of the 4 wheels is a spot to hold the extension cords and tools. I store the hose inside the vacuum when not using it. Overall this is a good wet/dry shop vac that will be super helpful for many things. I used it today to clean my car and it did a really good job. I love this mop/vac! Its quick to set up and use then it self cleans, minus the roller and empting and cleaming out bins. The only thing that I did not like was if a floor really dirty, you ha e to stop refill and empty a few times and if its on auto max it uses the battery faster. But if your using it daily its amazing! I have cats and they throw litter everywhere so I use a little dust buster and get the majority of the litter then it takes care of the rest!monica

Love it! I have a dog a baby. It really really clean the floors and dust! I suggest to vacuum first tho! Absolutely love this and should have gotten this earlier , it’s the best invention! One thing hopefully could be better is the battery life. Every 30 – 50 secs drops 1% of the battery. So it won’t last the whole house if you wanna clean the floor one shot.JC

The reviews that I read led me to believe I was getting a top notch item. I only needed it for a tiled kitchen. Unfortunately I had to go over simple dirt spots several times and fill the clean water and empty the dirty water multiple times. The space (kitchen) is standard size so I was a little surprised at how fast the water container filled up and emptied.Moni

I'm pleased with this all in one steam mop and vacuum. We live in a small home and our family area, hallway, and bathrooms are all hard wood floors. Makes cleaning our hard floors so much easier. We have two indoor cats and they shed a lot after the winter/cold months. The vacuum definitely has a powerful suction to collect all the loose cat hair and other debris. I'm also loving this all in one because I am able to steam mop my floors at the same time the vacuum is on to kill two cleaning tasks at once instead of using a standard broom/dust pan prior to my regular old steam mop. It's made cleaning a lot easier for me.Katie

I bought this hoping to kill two birds at one time while cleaning my floors. Prior to this I had a $75 bissell steam cleaner. The first time I used this I was excited and impressed. The little stains on my kitchen floor came right up and the vacuum suction was awesome. I thought wow! This is great. Then I brought it out to use the second time and came across something stick to the floor. I thought no problem. This will be quick and easy to get up. Boy was I wrong. It took at least 30 tries with this machine to get it up. I even held the steam over the stuck on yuck with no luck. I had to push down on the handle and basically scrub it up. It would've been quicker and easier to use a spray cleaner and rag to get it up. What's the point if I have muscle gunk off the floor by pressing the pad onto the floor hard? My shoulder hurt by the time I was done getting it off. There are other issues too: The steam is not hot at all… my former $75 steam mop left my floors hot to the touch which is how it's supposed to kill germs. This leaves the floors Luke warm. If you have multiple floors in different places in your home to clean like bathrooms etc you will have to unplug this, go to that spot, plug it back in and wait the thirty seconds for it to heat up. This is annoying. The water container is small and runs out quickly. So between the fact that this takes brute strength to get up stuck on gunk and it isn't hot enough to kill germs I'm not impressed.FloridaMom

Bought this ti replace an old 1940 (steam mop). I vacuumed thrn mopped, so this seemed like a perfect combination. Unfortunately the combination mop / vacuum mop ended up being worse than buying separately. First, the steam function is very quiet (good) so its hard to tell if its on or not, as a result holding the mop "on" trigger bacame laborious. I couldnt tell if the steam function was on causing me to squeeze harder and harder, then constantly letting go just to see if its on. The 1940 is on the entire time (simple). Next, very little steam actually came out when compared to the old 1940 impacting the mops capability to pickup dirt. After cleaning my kitchen tile it did a great job of vacuuming dirt, but the mop cloth head was only 20% dirty. Unsure it its faulty or working as designed. Returned and bought another 1940.yeller

I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

I was really unsure about a cordless shop vac having enough power to really work well. This vac really works great! I love the neon green and stainless steel color! It comes with lots of attachments and they all work wonderfully! The battery charges quickly and lasts quite a while. The suction power is great as well. It's light enough to carry and you don't have to worry about untangling a cord or tripping over a cord!TammyJoG

Very disappointed in this product. Purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. There was not enough suction (after fully charging) to vacuum his truck. It looks great and was excited he wouldn’t have to pull our larger one with cord around to vacuum the vehicles. I honestly feel it was DEFECTIVE! On its way back…..Tn Lady Vette

I am very impressed with the Sun Joe 24V-WDV6000 24-Volt iON+ Cordless Portable Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Vacuum Kit. I used it to vacuum my cars and has good suction and plenty of attachments for any hard to get place you need to vacuum. Also I like that I don't need a extension cord for the portable vacuum I can just charge the battery and use it anywhere I need to clean. Definitely recommend this quality cordless vacuum from Sun Joe.Leticia

I used this only as a wet vac and it performed very well, excellent suction, easy to maneuver. A couple of design improvements would be helpful. I am not that tall and I found that the extension wands are a bit short and uncomfortable to use. Also the wet vac accessory tool should have a softer squeegee to do a better job on a concrete floor. My old craftsman has longer tubes and a better squeegee attachment which ended up working much better with this vac. The squeegee is not only softer but it's shorter so it picks up water much better.Phil

the bristle floor brush has a staggered/stairstep contact patch with the ground and doesn't work. Now I hafta to go to orange box or do-it-worst, for about $19, and get a real floor brush. It is very weird that they used this design.c

I just bought this when my old shop vac (starts with a C) motor bearing burned out (it started to scream and smell). It has great vacuum and moves a lot of air for a shop vac. I will use this under my drill press, but also use it with my router table and wood shaper to keep sawdust down. I like that it comes with a 10 foot power cord, so extension cord is not needed any more and I can move it about without unplugging it. I also like it has a 2" hose instead of the 1.25" hose (most of the Bauer shop vacs have the bigger hose) and was a requirement for the aforementioned tools. Pretty good for the discounted price of $100. Assembly was very simple- 4 screws, one per wheel. Most of the accessories are in the tank. I hope this has better reliability than my C shop-vac. (I no longer buy "C" products because of poor bearings) Note that the tank is 14 gallons, but actual debris capacity is probably half that after the filter is inserted, but that is true for all shop vacs.Delaware Dave

We now have a dog which means both mine and my wife's car require deep cleaning. I had been using an old household vacuum cleaner that I had stationed in the garage but it became clearer to me that I couldn't pick-up all the dried food bits and dog hair with that vacuum cleaner. The Bauer Wet/Dry Vac is probably twice as powerful as my old home vacuum cleaner! It cleans out our cars so much better! I also plan to use it to clean out the ash from my Traeger smoker and suck-out the leaves that have been collecting inside my home A/C condenser. I only wish Bauer also provided a smaller crevice tool that can more easily access under and next to my car seats.Don E

I used mine on a daily basis. You can not beat it for the money. I use mine for hot tub drain and cleans. This vacuum is large enough to hold all the water my drain pump can’t get and strong enough to pull the water out the plumbing, even on the larger hot tubs with 60+ jets. I also run mine with out any of the filters and am constantly using it to drain water with extremely high bromine (chlorine) and both acidic and super hard water. I beat mine up and I still get 200+ drain and cleans out of it before the motor starts to weaken. I’m sure if I was nicer to them I could get it to last much longer. The fact that it lasts as long as it does with the way I abuse it says a lot about how well it’s built. I’ll be back for another when I blow this one up.Hot Tub Service Pros

I recently received the Bissel Power Clean wet and dry vacuum. Let to me tell its the best cleaner out ! Its lightvweight easy to use . It has a long cord and all the attachments are perfect for the hard to reach places. My floors look brabd new and and carpet looks like it was just installed. It has a powerful suction aswell. I have a lot of floor space with a composite hard floor. This floor cleaner does the trick. The proprietary floor cleaner is readily available, I get mine at Target. Even though it vacuums, if your floor needs dog hair or dirt picked up, use a separate vacuum. This one can do it, when it comes to cleaning up the unit you will see why. I like the fact that the rollers are machine washable. Mine are dark dirty when I am done with the floor. They clean up nicely. The unit is easy to maneuver and propels itself. my floor takes longer to dry than they advertise, but hey, its clean. Happy with purchase.James

As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Second, the instructions point out to clean after every use (highly recommend or I've found there is an odor with use).designgal78

Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan
