20 Best Work From Home Equipment (Jan 2023 Update)

I am a highly experienced electronic repair technician. I just rebuilt a Shark Rotator Professional lift-away vacuum. Of course users fail to replace or clean all three filters causing loss of suction. Cleaning these with warm water and dawn dish soap works best. The unit claims to have thermal monitoring protection on the brush roll base and its design is causing the complaints of failure to work on carpeting in consumer homes. There is no thermal sensor. It uses a D.C. motor to a circuit board where a series low ohm current drop resistor exists. When the motor is slowed , thwe motor draws more current which lowers the resistence in the moter resistor series circuit causing increased voltage drop on the resistor triggering the circuit and activating the motors disconnect relay turning off motor. Although it does much to protect the motor in case of armature freezing with current applied. It makes the consumer unhappy because they cant vacuum carpets as they expect to paying almost 400 dollars for this nice vacuum. The fast fix is simply taking a soldering iron and lifting on side of the feed back silicon diode and reassembling unit. Now you will find the brush roll attachment actually works and does an awesome cleaning job on any carpet. Be sure to use caution and not pick up things that will jam the brush roller and break the belt. If this happens please turn off vacuum unplug and remove obstruction from brush roller. Then plug back in and finish vacuuming. I hope this helps others, mine is now issue less and working awesome.MissTiffany2025

Okay, this vacuum cleaner is actually FUN to run! It’s lightweight and very flexible. The long wand makes getting corners, cracks and crevices a breeze. Only drawback is the base will tip over if you stretch the hose too far, so keep an eye on it as you use the wand. Cleaning stairs is easy with the “Lift Away” feature. The NV501 has strong suction and durability. Do your regular maintenance as other reviews have mentioned, and store it properly. It’s super easy to take apart when needed. I accidentally sucked up a microfiber cloth once, but was able to open the hose at the right spot and pull the cloth right out. We’ve had our NV501 for almost a decade and still no problems. Have purchased this particular model as gifts for friends and family. Highly recommended.DB

I’ve had this model for about 5 years and yes occasionally you’ll have to cut some hair off the powdered brush if you have long hair or girls around or just heavy traffic I guess but that takes literally 20 seconds. Grab a pair of scissors, cut the hair and pull it out. Any vacuum with a brush is going to eventually wrap up hair! The vacuum has one killer motor, it cleans like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’m continuously impressed by the vast amount of dander, dust, and allergens it grabs every single time! I love how the handle comes off to clean small areas such as my couch cushions, behind furniture, etc. (I have this model which cane with ALL the attachments so I may have paid a bit more but it was definitely worth it) the only other difference is the colors. Mine has dark blue where the red is shown. I absolutely love how I can detach the base when going up stairs as shown in the photo. I don’t use the tiny “car part cleaners” which also came with the bulk of attachments but I guess it’s there if I were to ever need it. My fav attachment is the smaller roller brush that literally eats every cat hair off my dining room chairs and wherever else I need it. Anyway I suppose I could go on but you get my drift. By the way of course after awhile the vacuum will accumulate dust around the base and hose (I’ve seen someone post photos here of their dirty vacuum lol) but it’s a vacuum! It’s going to get dirty! My last thought pertains to the newest model I believe, the NV1000 with the “self cleaning brush” or double brush very bulky looking one. Although I haven’t used it, I personally don’t think it is going to sell much in the end. I say that with regards to the current reviews and complaints along with the marketing aspect in mind. What I conclude is just logical: once again as long as there is a revolving brush or in this case 2 rolling brushes, in time there WILL BE a hair issue as long as there are women, girls, and pets around. Bought the 3-pack and also added another 1. Very good and pretty much as advertised. Super easy setup. We got these to deal with some dead spots and because it allowed us to have rooms where we needed to plug in PCs that didn't have wifi (or wifi wasn't a good option) and the 2 available Ethernet slots per unit were the perfect solution. Got rid of the 50 foot ugly cables we had running around the baseboards of the house. The only 3 negatives which lost it the 5-star rating are that the security features are causing some devices to lose wifi here and there (only for a few seconds), the same security (which has nice features) is only free for 30 days (annoying, and not worth continuing), and the speed. The last one may be a big thing for some, so I'll explain. We have 1GB service. Our hardline devices generally get about 750-800 on speedtest.net. Our wifi devices were getting about 500. Now with the Eero (which replaced the "upgraded" spectrum hardware), we are at slightly less than those numbers. So for us, killing the dead zones and adding 8 ethernet ports around the house were worth losing a few percent on the speed. But again, starting with 1GB service allows you not to worry about losing some in translation. For those who may be at 200, 100 or lower, it could be an issue. Bottom line: I totally recommend this for effectively expanding wifi in larger areas, and for giving yourself those sometimes valuable Ethernet ports without running cables. If you're getting this to speed up your wifi, I would be cautious.IveBeenThinking

The Eero Pro 6 is a great upgrade from the Google Wifi mesh system. I was looking for something with Wi-Fi 6, AX capabilities, and improved speed. This delivered on all of those features and more. The setup was simple and made the transition as easy as possible. The app is very intuitive and makes managing the network a breeze. I'm also impressed with the added features of Eero Secure, especially when managing my children's devices. There were a few quirks initially, such as devices not connecting to the closest points, but after resetting the network after each setting change, that seemed to work itself out. I should mention that I purchased two of these 2-packs and the four devices work together seamlessly. I should also mention that I also tried the Netgear Orbi AX4200 before the Eero and that was completely useless for me. This is so much more stable, provides greater coverage and overall the speeds and latency are improved. I'd highly recommend this for anyone new to mesh networks or for anyone looking for an upgrade from an older system.Techhie

After trying several solutions for May dual story house, I finally settled with the eero pro and I have to say that network quality drastically improved. I had xfinity and nighthawk routers before and now of them could cover my whole house, specifically the outdoor cameras always dropped connections or more than two TV’s doing streaming. The eero pro have the bandwidth to not only manage lots of smart devices, but also satisfy the media consumption needs of my family while I can access bandwidth to get work done. I also like the device management capabilities that allow me to block content from all my kids devices with a single tap or get notified when a new device connects. I also have separate network for guests and I share a simple QR code and they are online. Great devices and great software. I also signed up for the basic security plan that blocks ads and threats at a network level. The eero a understand Wi-Fi 6 and WPA3. They are great. The best thing, they automatically learn and the Wi-Fi gets better over time. The first 24h were not too impressive, but after that all devices were connected to the best router (I have 3 eero pro 6 in total) and now everything works flawlessly.Tom2

I purchased a DeWalt DWE-315 oscillating tool in early May 2022 at Lowe's. I didn't use it until I began my kitchen remodel in late June early July 2022. When I opened the box I discovered it was missing the edge guide attachment. I e-mailed DeWalt Service and asked them to send the attachment to my residence. In exchange for the part, they asked me to send them a copy of my cash register receipt as proof of purchase for the tool which I no longer had. Enraged, I returned the tool to Lowe's which honored my copy of my credit card statement showing the purchase in lieu of a receipt and they offered to give me another identical tool in exchange for the one I had. After feeling like a thief with DeWalt, I asked Lowe's to return my refund in cash because I had a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with DeWalt. I currently own numerous DeWalt tools but this situation has definitely given me cause to investigate other tools. I ended up purchasing a Fein oscillating tool over the DeWalt. After using both tools, I can clearly state that the Fein tool way out performs the DeWalt and I'm glad the situation occurred.Tylersnow

I bought this as I wasn't able to find the blades for the Master Mechanic I have. Even though I had to purchase a blade for cutting concrete siding, it worked flawlessly. My only complaint, is that the quick release spring is nice, but when you have arthurites in the wrist, it makes it difficult to compress, hold and swap out the blades. But then so does using the allen wrench required with the MM tool.Eldon

I bought the item April 19, 2018 from Sears. Dewalt always been my favorite tool. Cause of durability and known name. I used it to remodel my Daughter room and Works perfectly fine. Then was put on aside for my next projects.. ti'l this December 23, 2019. I decided to make my son a Skateboard Ramp Quarter pipe for his Christmas gift. Turn it on to use the sander, and 5 minutes later while using it. Suddenly stop working. It doesn't vibrate. Very disappointed, cause I barely use the tool for small project. I could write a book on this thing. It's Awesome. It solves any interface situation you can come up with. The XLR inputs allow you to connect directly to any source….live bass/guitars/vocals/ cv-analog and modular synths. The HP 14 Chromebook is a great computer for me, it has everything that is required for a suitable HP. It gets the job done, but like anything out there it has its pros and cons. For example, the battery life as well as the computer's storage. I weighed my options with many computers dealing with this topic I later came across this HP and the battery life does last a while even on low power mode. In addition to battery life, space is 64 GB which is perfect for me since I do not require much space. The HP itself is very portable, it is not too big and the surface on the computer is soft, which I love. Set up of the Chromebook was overall easy, not complex at all. I also did not need the instructions, just turned it on and was good to go. Photos as well as any documents I needed from my previous computer linked very easily, and I can adjust the settings to my own preference. The only con I would have is that you must purchase word, which is not the greatest and can be on the expensive side. The product is great, and you get what you are expecting out of any HP.myshell

It was gifted to my 5 year old daughter for Christmas by MIL why? Idk.. she called it a toy. It’s great something like a tablet with a keyboard I’ve downloaded nothing but learning apps. It’s light weight. The only complaint I have is the charger died it stopped working 3 days after .. sometimes it goes black as well I have to do a hard reset maybe every other day which is annoying every single time. It’s a mini heart attack assuming it died and it’s just not working anymore. Other than that the picture is great, the Volume is good. It’s a good laptop for older kids in hs or college. I first purchased a chrome book in 2013 and it was one of the most reliable laptops I’ve ever had. It got me through undergrad, grad school, and working from home until Sept. 2021 when it is no longer eligible for updates, etc. I researched all of the different chrome book options and decided on this model. I was hesitant to get one with a touchscreen because it’s not something I would really use or benefit from. Anyway, I could not be happier with this purchase and was blown away at the quality of this laptop. The color on the front is so unique and the screen is such high quality. One of my biggest issues with my older model chrome book was the low res screen but this one is as clear as an HD tv. It’s fast and the 14” screen is the perfect size. If you are on the fence about this model, I would absolutely recommend getting it. I work from home and am on this chrome book between 10 and 12 hours a day and have zero issues. Excellent battery life as well. Look and feel of the inside and keyboard is comparable to a MacBook without the backlit keys.katiec

I got this as a cheap option solely for e-learning purposes when I had time at my day job, and for any on-the-go tasks I couldn't accomplish on my MacBook (i.e. Windows required). But I'll probably be giving this away because it's not even sufficient for that. Perhaps the biggest issue, as a number of other reviewers noted, is the keyboard sometimes acts as if the Shift key is being held when it isn't. This results in CAPS characters when one is typing lowercase, inadvertent text selections, etc. A workaround is to hold Ctrl + Shift + Caps Lock for a few seconds. However, the issue should not be happening in the first place. Second, it's slow. Really, really slow. Besides startup, which is reasonably quick. But it's incredibly slow in every other regard. When typing text, when browsing the internet, working with docs, etc. My 7-year old MacBook Air seems at least twice as fast as this on the same tasks. I don't know how this got so many good reviews but I'll have to take note of the bad ones more carefully from now on.connorhawke

I went to Best Buy on Monday and ordered for deliver by Wednesday. I turned the computer on and the sound from the speakers sounded like static. When I got to the next screen, the mouse sensor disappeared. After finally being able to get the mouse sensor back on the screen, I was unable to type anything to even log into my Microsoft Account. On top of that, the battery and plug were hot to touch after 15 minutes of being on. I placed it back in the box and will return it tomorrow. It sucks that I was unable to use the computer after it arrived two hours earlier.Kay22

Let me start off by saying that this was a nice little laptop, but I did ultimately return it. The laptop itself is nice. Booted up quickly and got things running pretty easily. It was also my first introduction to Windows 11 which isn't as bad as I initially thought it would be. Ran some videos on YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ without a problem, and programs like Word and Excel were working with no problem at all. Sound was decent and picture was good quality. The issue, which is really my fault and in no way an issue with the laptop, is when she was trying to play both Minecraft (Bedrock) and Roblox. There were only a few reviews and questions on both for this laptop, so hopefully this can help out some other parents (or young adults if this laptop is for you) out. Let me start off by saying that this laptop will run and play both games. But if your child has played either game on console or with another desktop or laptop with better specs than this one, be prepared to have them tell you how it looks a bit different and is a bit slower with movements and responses. Minecraft runs pretty well, but runs better if you go in an adjust some of the settings. The lack in response and movement is there, but for a youngster who doesn't know better, is definitely playable without too much of an issue. Like I said, unless your young person has already been playing on a better system, they won't really know too much better. The only time it slows a bit is when there is a drastic change like falls from certain heights or something where the graphics have to change and load quickly. Roblox is a bit of a hit or miss depending on the game they are playing. I do not play the game too much, but as I understand it, there are different games within the game that are a bit more intense than others, and will ask more of your system depending on which one of the games you play. Mostly like Minecraft, the games she plays on Roblox were doing ok, but definitely not as good as her previous laptop or her Xbox. So, like I said, more so there are no issues with the laptop itself. It just was not able to suit exactly what she wanted and had become accustomed to. Like I said, unless this your childs first laptop and experience playing Minecraft or Roblox, I would recommend something with a bit faster processor and a bit better graphics. Although this laptop meets the minimum specs to run both games, your kids experience will be better with a better laptop. That being said, I would definitely recommend this laptop for everyday use for things like homework, casual internet browsing, social media, and streaming some movies, shows, and videos. Definitely made me feel better about my eventual upgrade to Windows 11 on my machine and other kids' laptops. Overall, laptop is a great choice for the casual everyday user.Macc

I started using the PR1000 two weeks ago. Positives: nice entry-level home gym with lots of different exercise options. For starters it comes with a description of 6 different training goals (general fitness, strength, etc). And most important (for me), it's immediately usable, no time-consuming trip to the Gym. Negatives (if you want to see it like that): Because it's an all-in-one machine, you're constantly rewiring (from upper pull to lower pull). I still rate it with 5 stars since it does for me, what I had expected. Advanced professionals might look for higher-level machines that also allow for bigger weight resistance (the PR1000 goes up to 105 pounds on one side).MiSw

This bowflex has everything you need for a great workout. It was fairly easy to put together. I was able to do it by myself. I love the versatility of this equipment and the bench seating can be pushed up to help you save on space. I'd highly recommend this to anyone whether your just starting out exercising or have been at it for a while. You'll get a full body workout and the resistance load is great. If you are looking for something to travel with this is not it. Its huge bulky heavy! this thing is huge!. I got it b/c i am a traveling student i needed a study area. I had high hopes for this portable office case. It is big, bulky and heavy. Not a deal breaker, until I opened it and saw there was not much room for what I needed it for. There is a place for the laptop, but there's only one little area for files. I was hoping for alot more storage in that big case, but it was just cumbersome without the function.HB

I was a Microsoft Surface Book 2 (15 inch) user that needed a new laptop and tried the Surface Laptop Studio as an upgrade. I had a ton of issues with that laptop and had to return it even if I liked the 2 in 1 functionalities of the laptop. Since I had to return the laptop and already was using mostly Apple Products (Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad) I decided to bite the bullet and fully invest into the Apple Ecosystem by buying this laptop. I don't regret it. For starters, while the Surface Laptop Studio had a beautiful display, this MacBook still manages to beat it in colors. Plus MacOS takes better advantage of the 120hz display than Windows does with system animations so it is more noticeable that the screen is more nimble than the standard 60hz displays. The colors are extremely accurate and the mini LEDs in this display make it so you have near OLED levels of true blacks when displaying dark/contrasty images. The only gripe I have with the display is I still am not the biggest fan of the notch but it is something that you get used to pretty quickly. The performance of this laptop is another thing that is a sight to behold. While Apple silicon is still having some hiccups it does really work way more efficiently than the outgoing Intel processors. The processor in this MacBook stays impressively cool and doesn't get no where near as hot as the previous laptops I have had along with the fans seemingly never really having to kick in. Along with that, for the first time I have a laptop that doesn't have to throttle its processing power to make sure that the battery can last a decent amount. This makes it so I don't have to carry a laptop charger with me at all times even if I am doing something more intense than a word document or web browsing. Other notable things about this laptop is the impressive quality of sound and even bass coming from the built in speakers. The build quality is phenomenal especially when you compare it to the Surface Laptop Studio that I had before this (that laptop had a squeaky hinge and some flex to the laptop which was unsettling). The keyboard on this laptop is one of the best and on the same level as Microsoft's Surface line, but the track pad on this MacBook is something that still has to be beat. I do wish this had something of 2 in 1 capabilities and even just a touch screen because sometimes its just easier to touch it on the screen instead of moving the cursor around to get it where you want. Otherwise this is an impressive laptop that is great if you are productivity focused. It can run some games extremely well but due to not being compatible with the vast majority of PC games, gaming is one of the things that makes up this laptop's archille's heal.Chipped007

Let me just say, that at the current sale price (which may or may not be still going on at the time you read this review), this laptop is an absolute steal! I've been a lifelong Windows user and never even looked at Apple computers, but recently, I've been looking for a new laptop and after trying a couple of highly rated Windows laptops, found them to be disappointing, especially their battery life and thermal and acoustic performance, since virtually all laptops in the higher performance tier are still too hot and loud, with mediocre battery life. So, out of frustration with the current PC laptop market, I decided to give an Apple laptop a try. I knew going in that they have great battery life, performance, and supposedly run cool and quiet. I picked up the MacBook Pro 14, and I was simply blown away! Yes, it runs fast. I do some video editing and graphic design, and it handles Photoshop and DaVinchi Resolve flawlessly. I also play some games, mostly strategy, and it runs them too! What I like the most, is how it doesn't lose any performance when running on battery, vs plugged in. Sure, playing a game like Cities Skylines will likely drain the battery in 2-3 hours, but it's amazing to actually be able to play it, with high resolution and graphics settings, on a laptop, with no cables attached! And it's smooth. The screen is beautiful. The mini LED is basically like having an OLED colors and contrast, but 3-4X higher brightness. It looks stunning. The computer is virtually silent. The fans stay off 95% of the time (with my use), and even when playing a demanding game, I only know they're running by checking the system monitoring software. I can't hear them unless I put my ear right next to the keyboard. It's seriously impressive. Yes, at 100%, they can get somewhat loud, but I can only get them to run at 100% by forcing it in software, I don't know what you have to do on this laptop use to get them to run this fast. And the laptop can get a little warm at the top of the keyboard, but not uncomfortably hot like most gaming Windows laptops. It's really, barely warm, and again, only when pushing it a bit, in most day-to-day tasks, it stays at the room temperature. I can probably keep going with details for a while, there is so much to like about this machine, but I want to respect everyone's time, so let me just add a couple of quick points. The speakers are great. The web camera is better than most, it's very good, the design is clean and pleasant, the ports are good, and the fingerprint scanner works the first time, every time… it's an excellent laptop. I want to also mention a couple of negatives. Nothing too bad, and I still live the laptop overall, but nothing is perfect. The first thing that I'm not 100% happy with, is MacOS. I can get all the software I need, and it runs great, but Apple is still a bit too tyrannical with their software, requiring a bunch of passwords, and limiting your customization options. It can also be a bit glitchy, sometimes virtual buttons get stuck, or the OS can feel slower than this laptop actually is with its animations, or just in general the way it handles RAM. Same apps can sometimes launch in half a second, and at other times take 6-7 seconds to load, it can feel inconsistent. You can run Windows on it, with Parallels Desktop, or one of several free VM options, which I thought would make it perfect, but keep in mind that you can only use an ARM version of Windows, so not everything works on it too. Still, very impressive seeing Windows 11 running on it just as good if not better than many Windows laptops, even in the Virtual Machine. The next thing, that's just kind of meh, is keyboard. It's not bad, the keys feel nice, but its backlight might look uneven under certain angles, which cheapens the look of the machine a bit, IMO. It looks fine from above, though. I usually keep the backlight off for this reason. Not a bad keyboard, but there is also nothing "magic" about it. I've seen better, and I've seen worse. And finally, the build quality can be a hit or miss. The first unit that I got had a slightly misaligned lid (against the bottom half, when closed). I exchanged it, and the second unit was creaking around the keyboard when opening and closing the lid. I returned it too and almost gave up on them, but a few days later, decided to give it just one more shot with a different color (the first two were Space Grey). I picked up a Silver model, and this one is perfect. So if you get one and something doesn't feel right, you might want to check another unit to make sure you get the good one, or just don't be picky like me. I assume most people will never notice or questions things like that. One final thought. This Macbook Pro 14, even at the base level, is a real deal. It's worth every penny they ask for it, and if you can get it on sale, or a good open box unit, it's probably the best value out there at the moment!drumnbass

If you Um'd and Ah'd like I did for a long time over how you can get the best value for price out of a MacBook, this is the review for you haha. Disclaimer: I got my MacBook Pro (14" M1 Pro 2021) in a 10% off Sale. Which was $100 more than a M2 Air spec'd up (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 10-Core GPU) Reasons I picked this model over a Spec'd Air: – 512GB storage (factory standard) Means I can install Windows (via Bootcamp – a built in MacOS feature) and not worry about either OS not having enough room to unpack, install, temporarily store etc. Also means if I don't have access to my cloud storage in the future, I don't have to worry about dumping files to make room (Particularly good for Remote Working and Travellers) – 16GB RAM (factory standard) I can have multiple applications running and not notice. ie. I currently have a Live Background running, 9 different tabs open on safari, Apple Music hosting on my Mac but streaming to a Speaker all without it the CPU fan even turning on. – 14-Core GPU (factory standard) I can actually play my Sims 4 & it's expansions with no sacrifice to frame rates or smooth playability; plays better than it was on my Windows Tower with a GTX1650 GPU. Also good for Future Proofing, with everything getting more and more graphic heavy, I will be able to use this MacBook for quite a few years without needing to upgrade. (which if you're paying $$$$ for a computer? You don't want to be doing it again anytime soon.) – Interconnectivity Apple (in my opinion) has cornered the market on seamless synchronisation between their products, especially in the Household section. Automations and Family Sharing are really user friendly once you adjust. Having an iPhone & a HomePod myself, it's amazing the way I can handoff music, or create an automation from any device (for any device haha) and it not be difficult; even our Sony TV utilises the inbuilt Remote App on my iPhone, and works well with Airplay. I ordered this before Christmas. It got delayed 4 times. I received it towards the end of February. I ordered delivery and assembly, it got here mid day while I was at work. Our babysitter was here. The man who assembled this did a terrible job. Both handles were loose, the floor was a complete mess, there were parts left over (he left on the dresser), there was a section cracked on the flywheel cover, and he left the packaging In my garage with the scraps scattered. I was pretty bummed out when I got home. I ran on it twice now. On level 1 of resistance it feels like I am going up a mountain. I don’t know if it was his assembly or the calibration, but this thing as 20 levels of resistance and I cannot put it past one. Again, I don’t know if it is the assembly or the product, but I am disappointed.Brady

From an easy setup to customizable workouts this elliptical has been exactly what I wanted. Setup took two of us just about an hour and a half; we usually don’t make a great building team. I can’t express how much I love being able to walk out of my home office and across the hall to get a work out in during my breaks from work or even at lunch. A goal I had for myself was to stop wasting money on a gym membership I haven’t used in years, nailed it. The equipment itself is built for sturdiness even when us thicker people use it. My partner is nearly 300lbs and this has not shown any signs of giving. We like that no adjustments need to be made to the handles or pedals when using after each other. I like that when using workouts within iFIT the elliptical automatically adjusts the incline and resistance, no need to stop working out to change this and get that heart rate back down. Speaking of the lower handles have a heart rate monitor which is such an awesome feature. If you don’t have an iFIT membership or are doing a “manual workout” you can change the incline and resistance at the touch of a button. Another pretty neat feature that I’ve notice note all elliptical a have is a water bottle holder; it’s very important to me to stay hydrated especially during workouts. My partner loves the fan and that it is also adjustable. Overall the craftsman’s ship beats any feature, it’s very sturdy and definitely built well. I am on my second attempt at this kit. In the first kit one the 2.0 and one of the 1.5 Amphr batteries would not charge, flashed red/green right from the start. The store exchanged for another yesterday, last night put one battery in to charge and this morning still not fully charged. Put the second battery in the charger and flashed red/green right from the start. Two lemons in a row! This is my first attempt at Milwaukee tools, not a good first impression. Also, only one drill comes with a belt clip. Now that's being cheap!GlenC

I'm not one to make a big purchase without doing some research so when my ancient 12V Dewalt drill finally died I started looking for a replacement. It came down to Dewalt VS Milwaukee and Milwaukee won because they have better reviews and I liked the fact that M12 and M18 batteries could both be charged on the same rapid charger. Another thing I liked was the vast variety of tools powered by the M12 and M18 systems. Long story short, I bought this drill and proceeded to put it to work. Battery longevity is good and I like the little LED light that illuminates when I pull the trigger. It's about the same weight as my old Dewalt drill was but in a much smaller package. It's not built with cheap parts, but quality parts. If there is a con to it, it's that it's not well balanced top to bottom with the battery I use. It's bottom heavy but I'm using an XC 12.0 amp hour batter which is the heaviest battery Milwaukee makes. If I dropped down to a 5 amp hour it would probably balance perfectly. So far so good. I use it mainly for automotive hobby stuff, track days/hpde, or working on the car. The impact is very balanced and the trigger easy to control. I usually break a tq with a wrench and use this to remove quickly. For install the impact is close to 80 ft-lbs which is about the lug bolt rating for my car. I do Tq those with a wrench as well. I have used the drill less but it is performing well. The smaller battery is good for my needs so far. I would say 5 stars but it's new. BTB my Son-in-Law and daughter's business is roofing and siding and Milwaukee is what they buy. Better warranty than most others and good reviews on PF tooSamfromAL

The problem started running and then switched to eco mode it would cut off. After contacting generac we found an authorized shop to do the warranty work ( a hour drive away)
Inverter module was replaced, then we had to take it back to fix the throttle. Now the inverter doesn’t run like it did when first purchased. Did I mention customer service has been HORRIBLE??

The iQ3500 Generac generator is awesome. It provides superior power while maintaining the low noise output of the 2000-2500 Watt generators. I slept like a baby with the generator 2 feet from my truck camper. It had no problem handling the load of my internal/external lighting, refrigerator, water pump, coffee maker and air-conditioner all at the same time. It ran for 12.5 hours straight on a full tank of gas. The only con is the weight of the unit. It can be handled by one person, but you can't carry it to far. Also if you are small, you may need a cart to get it where you need it. Considering the versatility, power output, and low noise profile (impressive), I would buy again it is well worth the money.Kenneth M.

I have been using this router for a month now and it is very powerful and so handy to use being cordless. I love the electric brake. I have ordered the plunge base and waiting for it to arrive. Great size and fits my hand nicely. I prefer to use the 2Ah lightweight battery it doesn't feel as top heavy as a 5 Ah (personal quirk) the 2 Ah gives me plenty of run time while my second battery is charging. What I like about cordless tools is cleanup time in a shop. All you do is turn the tool off and stick it in the cabinet. Corded tools you have to spend time coiling up the cord and tucking them neatly away. When I go to use a corded tool again I pull it out and the cord will always drag and often pull a wrench or bit out with it, which end up on the floor. This does not happen with my cordless router. I have decided all new power tools I buy will be cordless and after reviewing the differences between Dewalt and other major brands I have settled on the Dewalt format. Dewalt has been a better innovator bringing the newest tech to the market faster and offering brush less tools in categories that their competitors still promote brushed tools. So Dewalt will be the go to brand. If you still prefer corded tools – well start watching Craig's List there will be some good deals, because I am selling my corded and replacing them with Dewalt cordlessPhil 500

I have used this tool on DIY projects with a friend and I knew I had to purchase to add to my collection of DeWalt cordless tools. I trust the brand and a no brainer when purchasing DeWalt. I already own other DeWalt cordless power tools so I don't to purchase another 20V batteries (I purchased tool only). I like the size and balance with battery when operating this tool. Another feature that makes this tool easy to work with is depth adjustment ring which allows for fast and easy height adjustments as you need. I also like the dual LED lights that help illuminate the work surface. The cordless router is equipped with variable speed control for optimal bit speed in each application – in my case I use to make grooved cross cuts and it chewed through the wood pretty easily with a clean cut. I haven't actually used this to it's full capacity quite yet, but I have tested it extensively. The adjustments take a bit getting used to as well as getting the "feel" of it's working capacity. I do like the incremental adjustments and the fact that it does lock-in with no slipping. While cutting in, it did have a slight decrease in power but not really too noticeable as in, it didn't bog down or anything. It performs quite well. And the led lights help with low-light situations. Has speed adjustment knob from 1-7(same as the XR 1/4 sheet sander). Also offers options for attachments with mounting holes. It comes with the clear plexi base to easily see while you're working. A must have and recommended!rockyoha

Thin, delicate plastic that makes you realize quick why its' so lightweight. (Not a good thing). Worked well for a couple weeks but now it requires going super slow or doing x2 vacuuming to get the same results. (A vacuumed floor). All in all, a regrettable purchase. Spouse bought it. I usually check out reviews before purchasing. It worked well, we had been using Roomba. It picked up a LOT of dog hair from carpet. I found the cord long enough for our rooms..any longer and I would trip over. Personally I found it very loud and will use sponge earplugs. Looking at instruction booklet, not looking forward to having to clean the Cyclonic Assembly and the Exhaust Filter…but havent bought new vacuum for a while maybe they all have this now? … just cleaning the floors and emptying bin was my focus. Now have to keep an eye on 2 filters and clean them? I like to see what it has picked up in the clear container bin tho.Little Pud

I bought this online which was probably my first mistake because I couldn’t see in person how crappy it is. It does suction fairly well and it’s very light, but the good stuff stops there. The cord is so short that I can’t even vacuum an entire room without having to unplug it twice (and I don’t have huge rooms). The hose is horrible. It’s awkward and short, so you’re tugging on it the entire time you’re using it. I have hardwood floors, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs, so we use the hose on a vacuum daily. The brush is not angled so unless you hold it directly over something, it won’t pick it up. Why is the brush attached to the crevice tool? This is stupid. I can’t seem to separate them. Why is there an opening in the handle that looks like the hose should fit into it? The manual doesn’t explain this. Oh and the handle came off while I was vacuuming. I already got rid of the box but I wish I could return it because I absolutely HATE it. The 2 stars are only for the lightness and suction power. Huge disappointment.Season

Right off the bat I can tell you that I really like the Dell Inspiron 24” AIO (all in one) system, it is my first AIO computer and there is plenty of bang for the buck. This coming from a serious techie, our home is loaded with cutting edge computer systems. We had a specific need in mind for the Dell which is a small desk nook where it replaced an older mid-tower i7 computer that was taking up precious floor/leg space under the desk. Being able to replace the desktop with a AIO works marvelously. Have never been inclined to use touch screen AIO computers, though now that I have one am sold. It is a handy feature to have in many ways. The 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) monitor is impressive. The monitor is quite useful if you need to add a second computer which came in handy as I was transitioning from the desktop computer to the AIO. The Dell Inspiron 24” comes with a very decent keyboard and mouse which is unusual in many bundled systems, kudos Dell. The Dell has a 512GB m.2 SATA SSD and has SATA connection/bay for either a thin HDD or better yet a SATA SSD. One bonus for us is the WiFi6 – Wireless AX which works fantastic with our WiFi6/AX router with a Rock Solid 1.2Gbps connection. The Dell Inspiron is on the opposite side of the house from my office where the router is located, that makes my day. Dell Inspiron 24” comes with AMD Ryzen 5625U processor and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics delivering solid performance. There are two handy programs installed, My Dell which provides info and familiarization of the computer and the Support Assistant – updates drivers/scans hardware/cleans files/tune performance/optimize network. Especially appreciate the Support Assistant which performs many essential tasks. Comprehensive documentation found on their website including a complete Service Manual for upgrading and replacing internal parts, that is Rare in today’s market. Better than attempting to figure out how to open a computer on your own. Dell provides complete Specs and user instructions. I actually really like the concept of the Dell all-in-one desktop and design overall. But I do not like the fact that Dell is slightly misleading by including a Ryzen AMD processor and dubbing it a gaming desktop. But that would not dissuade me or others that are in the market for something like this all in one. Unboxing is straight forward, packaged nice to protect the monitor/touchscreen – which I will get back to a little later, two angled leg stands easily attached with zero tools needed, power cord, nice entry level wireless keyboard and mouse that include batteries, plug in, place, update, sign on, and your ready to go! Simple as 1, 2, 3… First impressions after setting up… yes I have a more spec ready gaming setup elsewhere, but that is not why I got this all in on, so for what its purpose is I am highly satisfied, or should I say my wife is happily satisfied since it is her setup. This “desktop” comes with all the specs needed for impressive computing at a little above entry level. It has a nice 23.8" IPS touchscreen that does not reflect a lot of glare and produces beautiful 1080 crisp resolution. It has a nice hideaway webcam that pops up with a simple touch and can be pushed down when not in use if you want that extra sense of privacy knowing that your webcam isn’t staring you in the face. It has all the connectivity you will need to start with (1 HDMI, 4 USB ports total – 2 usb 3.1A, 1 usb 3.2A, and a slick 1 usb 3.2 type C on the side which you can easily add another usb hub station or use to quickly connect any peripheral or use for quick charging. The speakers included are placed directly on the lower front designed in the likeness of a pc soundbar. The speakers are very impressive for what they are. There is no need to purchase a standalone sound system for this pc unless you are looking for room deafening sound. These speakers get loud and produce pleasant undistorted untinned sound. The wireless keyboard and mouse are a little bit above the usual entry level that are included with most pc’s. The full size keyboard has a nice feel to it and they key response is good and somewhat has a tick feedback. The mouse is just okay. It all works as it should and gets you a jumpstart on where you might want to go with this desktop. Internals are very good for an all in one desktop, it has a 512 GB SSD which is a good start but not a lot if you are wanting to use for gaming… at least installed games. It comes with a blazing fast AMD Ryzen 5 processer with 6 cores and 8GB of DDR Ram which can be upgraded to 32GB with a second slot available, which is super nice to be able to do in an all in one! Now for the usage and productivity…. This thing is made to be a space saver and clean up all the dangly hanging “stuff” of a conventional setup… it excels at that 110%. I really love the setup and design with the angled leg stands on a beautiful 23.8” screen. The screen has angle adjustments to get the perfect viewing angle even though there is little to no glare on the matte finish IPS screen. Back to the touch screen, it is a cool concept, but not very practical on a desktop setup that is going to be used for the traditional computing. Now if this was going to be used as point of sale or register type setup for a small or home business… it would be perfect. I tried using the touchscreen interface which is nice for random select and open items but I felt myself reverting back to key and mouse. It felt almost uncomfortable reaching for the screen on a desktop setup. So, touchscreen a no go for us for what we are using it for. Processing speeds are impressive with quick start up and fantastic multi-tasking., There is little to no lag on power eating applications such as video/photo editing, hobby project programs (i.e.. Cricut, Adobe, etc..). Streaming is super nice with the touchscreen and front facing speakers. Everything that you possibly want to do with this desktop it is more than capable other than the hard core gaming. Now you can game on this respectively with the AMD Ryzen processor and AMD Radeon GPU, but with graphic intensive games, it will need to be a t the lowest settings. I played a couple of games before I got as little frustrated with the memory warnings and low fps which were throttled down to below 60 fps and averaging 35-45 fps which made the game not enjoyable for what I’m used to. But, a big BUT, I did not get this to game on, so that is not a turn off. This desktop is being used as my wife’s project center for her small business/hobby station. For this it works perfect and has all the processing speed that we need and we can always upgrade a bit if needed. The major plus is the all in one space saving and cord cleaning concept of this desktop. We are able to have an above entry level powerful setup that meets all her needs plus. We are very happy with this all in one and actually added a second monitor to add to her multitasking abilities since we saved on space. It works wonders as her seSection8ght

I have this computer setup in my game room as a shared family computer. It is mostly used for online school and homework, but I also use it for non-work-related task like photos, email, and web surfing. We previously had an old laptop with a dead battery that never moved as our family computer. I love the space saving all-in-one design that offers a larger screen and better speakers than a comparable laptop without the cooling fan noise and possibility of battery issues. While not a killer gaming machine, it is well balanced and performs everyday task without any lag or other performance issues. I love the ability to use this as a second monitor with audio for my small tablet computer. Notes – Easy set up. The legs install without tools. Batteries are included for the wireless mouse and keyboard. – Includes a basic wireless keyboard and mouse. Dell Peripheral Manager lets you configure the keyboard function keys and mouse buttons. – Good build quality. Clean Space saving design. Legs are sturdy and pivot at the attachment point to allow the display to tilt. – Large 24" full HD touchscreen display with good color and brightness. The screen is a matter finish, which limits reflections and fingerprints – perfect for kids and my game room, which gets a lot of sunlight throughout the day. – The speakers have plenty of volume and good sound quality- they don’t produce strong bass, but they are clear (no distortion) and have a decent sound stage. – Pop up camera and built-in microphone. I like that the camera can be hidden when not used for privacy and a clean look. With just indoor light the camera is a bit noisy/grainy but works for video chats or online school. – Quick and quiet solid state hard drive. There is plenty of space for a few games and my family files (mostly photos, word documents). Out of the box there is 414GB of space, with the other 45GB used for pre-installed software and the operating system. Dell limited the pre-installed software on this machine, and I appreciate the clean Windows 11 install without bloatware. – Has 3 USB-A (full size), 1 USB-C (right side), HDMI Input (use as a monitor/speaker), HDMI Output (to a second display), Ethernet (local wired network) and an SD Card reader (old school camera or cell phone memory card w/adapter). Gaming – Due to the limited memory this only really works for light gaming. – The included Radeon software allows you to change advance graphics settings and monitor performance (including in game overlays and logging). I found the overlay useful while tweaking in game visual quality settings to achieve reasonable frame rates. – I downloaded a few games from my Steam account (Doom, Poppy Playtime and Wolfenstein II) and Fortnite for the kids. Except for Fortnite (70fps) most were limited to 35-45fps even with the graphics quality set to low/low-medium and resolution at 1024×768. Doom was no fun, but the others were playable (just not preferred). Based on this experience this will probably work for lighter (or online) games like Minecraft/Roblox and games that are slower paced. – Looking thru the log files and watching the stats on the in-game overlay (thanks Radeon software). The Ryzen processor seems to work well with the Radeon GPU. The GPU does a good job at dynamically varying frame rates and clock speed to match game play, but the biggest limitation is memory. There is only 512MB of dedicated video memory and 8GB of RAM (which is also used as shared video memory). Even outside of gameplay, I saw RAM utilization of up to 80% while performing a few normal everyday tasks at the same time. I would recommend this to for everyday use and casual games, but it is likely not adequate for even a moderate gamer or someone interested in potentially playing a wide variety of newer games (especially first-person shooters).MGoose

Instructions leave much for the imagination. If I wasn't already experienced in assembly similar workstations, this would have ended up as a bizarre art project. Although, once properly assembled, it is actually very reliable. I used it for scooter/bike repairs. But I feel as though not many people will be able to assemble this without help. Just a side note, instead of hammering in the pegs for the handles, I suggesting buying a couple of nuts and bolts from the local hardware store. Saves time and frustration.KY

I am very thankful I did not pay for this. My company gifted me the Black and Decker Workmate for being an employee for many years, and the item is something I chose out of a catalog.

A Black and Decker warehouse out of California shipped the item to me. The box arrived broken, the Ziplock-style bag containing the parts was torn from the bottom, the parts were scattered everywhere within the box, the Workmate's leg was bent, a rolling pin was missing from one of the vise screws, etc. Before even attempting to assemble the Workmate, I contacted customer service to complain that I had seemingly received a returned item. Based on the condition of the item I received, there was no other explanation for how it could have arrived in such poor condition.

The customer service rep was actually really great. Long story short, after quickly confirming my address and phone number, they agreed to ship me a new Workmate, no questions asked. I asked them how I should go about shipping the "used" Workmate back to them. The customer service rep told me I could pay to ship it back or keep it and do whatever I wanted with it. Obviously, this was a no-brainer.

Shortly thereafter, I decided to assemble the "broken" Workmate. I went to the local hardware store and purchased a roll pin to replace the missing pin from the vise screw. It was a simple 65-cent fix. Next came the assembly. The other reviewers' rants about the instructions are justified. I laughed to myself throughout the assembly process as the illustrations used to guide assembly were the worst I've seen from any product I've ever purchased. Thankfully there aren't too many parts or steps required to assemble the Workmate, so I managed to accomplish assembly without rambling off too many expletives. The roll pin you have to tap into the vise screw isn't too painful, though the illustration makes it appear simple. I used a ball-peen hammer to tap it in and a roll pin punch to set the pin flush. Once fully assembled, I looked at the Workmate and thought, "thankfully, I did not pay for this." The frame is made from junk metal. The handles used to adjust the vise screws are cheap plastic. In fact, many of the parts are made of plastic. Time will tell whether this thing holds up.

At this point, I'm questioning what I will do with the second Workmate. Gifting it to a friend might cost me a friend. Will this item fulfill its intended purpose? Yes, it likely will. Is the Workmate worth the $70-100 Black and Decker charges? It most certainly is not. I advise people to save your money, skip this item, and go with something a little more higher end.Ryan Smith

This came as a rectangle box. All pieces are in there but not labeled. The instructions are hard to follow (in spite they were in my native language). I am visual, and the pictures are kind of tricky and small to understand. After 1 hour assembling the table by myself (130pound girl/5feet tall), there was a little problem with the handles because the little pieces couldn't fit in there so I put screws to replace that. Now, after I have fixed and painted all 26 cabinet doors from 15" to 22" wide…I believe this work table was a very good affordable tool for my project. It is indeed resistant it holds me and the door. On the top of that when I was painting borders it became very handy. Stress free and it is easy to put it away.sonyng1

This is only a sit down desk. It doesn’t lift high enough to be a standing desk but that’s what I wanted. Good size roomy a urface for laptop and my water bottle, cell phone, and small notepad. Very easy to put together and nice dark brown woodlike smooth surface. Wheels glide very well too. It is a manual lift tho so it isn’t that easy to adjust the height so I just leave the way I set for working from my sofa. So glad staples had this for the best price I could find plus the coupon helped too.ANN

I recently bought a 2nd one, from Bed Bath & Beyond online, shipped to my friend as a gift. I used mine by my bed to anchor a swing-arm holder (made by and ordered separately from a company named LEVO) for a tablet, cell phone and paperback book so I could use them while lying flat on my back. The Seville laptop desk works so well for that purpose that I sent my fellow senior citizen friend the exact same Seville laptop desk. The Bed Bath & Beyond website made it easy for the recipient to know who the sender is. In the box for 'Company or Business Name', I simply put "from xxxxx (my name)". I still had to contact Bad Bath and Beyond online store afterward via the provided link, due to an unforeseen delivery problem. The desk is great. I really like it. However I miss placed my wheels. And when I called customer service to get replacement they said no not available and not available for purchase. Really had a great experience purchasing a treadmill from NFM! I originally ordered the 5000 online but decided I wanted the bigger screen and called NFM to change my order. The sales guy was so friendly and helpful and quick. He upgraded my order and even offered delivery 2 days earlier than I previously scheduled. the delivery was great, on time, came quickly too! Two guys assembled it in maybe less than :30 minutes and I was off on my first walk in Mexico. The iFIT programs are excellent and fun! I'm kinda addicted to completing series and challenges now and in a short time felt my fitness really level up. The treadmill feels very sturdy and has an awesome decline option too. This is a well made treadmill… Everything was made to last. The frame is steel and has a few plastic features to protect you. It is nicely packed and comes in a few pieces. The bottom portion which is slightly heavy. my husband and I were able to carry it from our garage to about 30 feet I would recommend getting two stronger people to bring in it is heavy and limited area to lift. The belt portion is easy to lift so you can install the bar to lift up and store away. The belt extends 60 inches which allows for a great extension or great for people with long strides. The main setup is the arms and monitor portion of the treadmill. The direction are wonderful and everything is nicely labeled. It side has right or left and all the nuts and screws are individually packaged and tells you which step you need to use them for. Assembly took us about 45 min and 20 minutes to install programing on monitor. After set up. I have had my treadmill now for a few months and I love it. The iFIT system has so many different options. You dont have to just use the program for the treadmill you can do other programs such as yoga or workout programs. The have some amazing instructors who make classes enjoyable and makes you want to continue doing the program. Some of the programs change the settings such as incline and speed to make it feel life like. There are a lot of nice features one of course being the monitor. It also has an amazing heart rare monitor that is accurate and is helpful in keeping you on your target zone. There is a fan to help cool you down. A bottle holder up top to make it easier to grab and see so youre bit fumbling around. It has an emergency stop key should you slip. The belt is quite and has a nice shock rebound while running so it doesn't bother your body while running. I tore my knee last year which is why I purchased a treadmill it is much easier on my knee and body. The screen is 22 inches and easy to see and watch programs. The screen is touch screen and easy to control. There is a nice range when it comes to incline and speed. – 3-12% for the incline and has a max speed of 12mph. I bought this a few months ago and I am very happy. The iFIT platform and proform have done an amazing job. The programs are amazing and has so many different types of classes and experiences. You can do cardio yoga fitness it has a lot to offer. The treadmill is quite and easy to use. The screen is bluetooth capable and touch screen. There are a few button. Incline which goes – 3 to 12% speed which is o-12 mph. It has a nice shock resistants and doesn't hurt my knees. I had torn my acl a year back and it doesnt agervate it. It folds up nicely so it doesnt take up much space when not in use. This is a well made treadmill… Everything was made to last. The frame is steel and has a few plastic features to protect you. It is nicely packed and comes in a few pieces. The bottom portion which is slightly heavy. my husband and I were able to carry it from our garage to about 30 feet I would recommend getting two stronger people to bring in it is heavy and limited area to lift. The belt portion is easy to lift so you can install the bar to lift up and store away. The belt extends 60 inches which allows for a great extension or great for people with long strides. The main setup is the arms and monitor portion of the treadmill. The direction are wonderful and everything is nicely labeled. It side has right or left and all the nuts and screws are individually packaged and tells you which step you need to use them for. Assembly took us about 45 min and 20 minutes to install programing on monitor.Froberts

I am thrilled with this stand. It is very solidly built, steady as a rock, and beautifully engineered. When typing there is no bouncing or wobbling of the platform, keyboard or monitors. The adjustment from sitting to standing position is very easy and the mechanism is quite and very smooth and does not take a lot of strength to raise. It takes just seconds raise or lower it. The height adjustment is variable – the unit clicks into position to lock at the selected height when the spring-loaded handles on the left and right are released. This means that you can easily raise it to whatever height you are comfortable with. I am just over 70 inches tall and prefer it close to the maximum height. At its lowest position it is not too obtrusive and I find that I do not have to adjust the monitor height at all when transitioning from sitting to standing and back again. The stand weighs about 70 lbs but setup is a breeze because it comes preassembled. Just unpack it and place it on your desk, remove a few more packing materials, and you are good to go. I originally ordered the Ergotron WorkFit Dual Monitor Kit (97-904) as well because I was concerned that with my two monitors (24" diagonal screens) the stand would be unstable when raising and lowering it, but I ended up cancelling my order for the kit because the monitors sit very nicely on the stand and feel quite secure. An added benefit of this arrangement is that I can move the monitors around to adjust their distance from my eyes and their relative angle, which I could not do if I mounted them to the stand using the kit. One thing I would note is that the dimensions on the Ergotron website imply that the unit is 23.25 inches deep but the keyboard tray projects an additional 4 inches so that total depth is about 27 inches. This was not a problem for me because my desk is 30 inches deep. Also I would say the color is charcoal grey not black, but that is fine too. This desk is very well built, very sturdy. I have ongoing back issues and cannot sit for an extended period of time. This desk functions very well; its has multiple options to suit your preferred height while standing. It has ample space for a keyboard/mouse, large monitor and laptop, and notebook. Would recommend to anyone who wants the option to sit or stand throughout the day. Perfect size on the desk as well, does not appear as too bulky. Very happy with the purchase.Jon

It was either this or the Varidesk. After having seen and read the features and numerous reviews I decided to go with the WorkFit-TL. Ergotron also offers the lower-priced and the almost identical WorkFit-T (the little brother of TL) . The primary reason I spent the extra bucks and went with the TL was due to the larger keyboard tray size. Having read reviews for the WorkFit-T, the main complaint was the lack of room for a keyboard and mouse on the keyboard tray. With the TL, Ergotron fixes that while giving even more real estate on the main surface. Few other plus points over the Varidesk: – goes straight up and not outwards when raised. – the adjustment clips are smooth, flexible and quiet. Bottom line, I love it. I work as a devops engineer and I can honestly say I've been so much more productive. Keeps me refreshed throughout the work day. My co-workers love it and some are considering getting one. It's not cheap, but to me this was worth every penny and more. Sidenote: Few of my coworkers have the Varidesk and they love it as it fits their needs. Check them both out and see which works best for you. For me, the Workfit-TL is almost perfect!Aziz
