This is a good oil for applying to the face. It is light, and has only a faint smell. Its smell is not bad, just a typical oil smell. It goes on light. The bottle has a glass dropper tube build in, you squeeze the top of the lid and it will fill up to about 1.5 inches. My pandemic hair is about 6” longer than I wear it. I have been using this product off and on for the past year after washing my along with a moroccan oil leave in conditioner. This gets me about 2-3 days before my curls turn to a wild head of a mass of frizzed out hair. I got this stuff on Amazon originally for my hair. I have combination skin and get OILY in my oily areas and DRY in my dry ones. I’ve never even thought about applying an oil to my face since it seemed counterproductive to maintaining oil control. However since I purchased it I don’t use it on my hair at all bc it leaves it feeling heavy, and I use it on my face twice a day before moisturizing. It has significantly improved my texture and elasticity and doesn’t clog my pores at all (I have huge pores). It doesn’t add to my oil production at all and I honestly love using it as a base for my makeup primer as it makes my makeup sit more naturally on the skin. First let me say that I’ve been using Foxbrims Argan oil for years. Before that time I tried several other brands. I find that Foxbrim’s is lighter and soaks in my skin my quicker. Argan Oil is a moisturizing aromatic carrier oil. It has a pleasant smell and can be combined with essential oils that would cause discomfort when used on their own. On the front of the bottle is states this is a certified organic product that is unrefined, cold pressed, and ******. That means it is not processed and is as pure as possible. The ingredient list is only one ingredient long: “100% Pure Certified Organic Argan Oil”. The bottle arrived packaged well. The bottle is dark brown. Brown bottles are used with oils to preserve their potency as most oils can have their effectiveness decreased when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods of time. The cap of the bottle is a medium-sized dropper that reaches into the bottom of the bottle. It is a glass dropper that functioned well when I tested it. On the bottom of the bottle is a white label that states an expiration date of December 2018 (about two years). Foxbrim distributes from Lake Alfred Florida and this particular oil was sourced from Morocco and bottled in the US. The bottle states this product was not tested on animals. I'm really loving Argan Oil these days, and Foxbrim has offered an excellent product. I'm a bit of an oils geek, and am actually comparing four different brands of Argan. I love that Foxbrim is a pure oil, unadulterated and undiluted. It is ****** oil, which means this is from the first or second pressing, and of high quality. Foxbrim oil is also Organic, because if there are toxins and pesticides on your plant, they're in your oil, and no one wants to put pesticide on their face, right? (OK, someone out there probably does. I'm not that someone.) Scent: This is the lightest of the four oils when it comes to scent. I find that consistent with this brand as I test various oils. It does not seem to indicate anything in relation to the use of the oil, however. The oil has a scent I call "sweet and earthy, like fresh beets". Now, while I do enjoy beets, I don't prefer them as a perfume. So I love that this has a light scent which evaporates quickly as the product is absorbed. Straight-Up: I use this oil straight-up on my own face. It absorbs easily, is considered one of the least likely oils of any to clog pores, and is actually used to help treat acne problems due to oily skin. Personally, I put about 6 drops in my hand, rub my palms together, and smooth over my face, giving myself a mini-massage as I do. I switch between this and my blended moisturizer, depending on my needs and the weather. Blending: If you like to make your own lotions, moisturizers, and lip balms, you should have this in your "potions cabinet". I like to use 1/4 cup coconut oil, two Tablespoons Argan oil, 1/2 teaspoon beeswax, and four drops of the essential oils you most need (I like carrot seed and frankincense, but you can change it up, or even leave it out!). Whip the coconut oil, add the argan and beeswax, and whip again to combine. Viola! This brand of Argan blended nicely, and made a great cream. I have purchased other Foxbrim products, and haven't been disappointed yet! I'm thrilled to have this in my arsenal of oils. As a 1 year user of Timeless Hyaluronic Acid, I trust the Timeless line for quality and decided to try out the Pure Line Argan Oil as a compliment to the HA with the hope of replacing my existing skin cream. I ordered the 4oz refill size as it was a good $$ value (Shipping to Ontario is about 2 weeks for anyone who is wondering). I would have ordered the larger bottle, but wanted to make sure I liked it first. So, I have been using the oil for 1 week now, and it is a positive experience for the most part. The oil is very light and unscented which I love as I have allergic reactions to strong scent. It also absorbs so fast that I find I have to be very quick to apply it or it will absorb into my fingers before I get it to my face. Still, even if I have to use a little extra, I am only using about 3-4 drops maximum. I try to apply it to the driest areas of my face first (for me, this is the T-zone), then massage the rest all over the face. Any left over residue is massaged into my cuticles and finger nails. I apply it on cleansed skin, before bed and after applying the HA as the Argan oil is absorbed with the acid and helps to seal the HA into the skin. There is no greasy feeling or worry about staining the pillow because both disappear into the skin within a minute or so. In the morning, my skin feels soft and smooth. It is not necessary to use face wash when showering, water is enough. I apply the HA again, immediately after showering when my face is still damp and follow with 1-3 drops of Argan Oil. Within a minute or two, I can apply foundation. My skin feels soft all day even in the harsh dry air of my office. I have had no adverse effects from the oil, so no redness or break-outs and I have very sensitive allergic skin. My only complaint is that I cannot afford a truck-load of the stuff to fill my bathtub so that I could soak in it! I also bought the Hyaluronic Acid Vit. I normally use Madame CJ Walker scent and shine coconut oil because I adore the smell but I mix with Argan Oil for a little more moisture. Was at Sally Beauty checking out their sales when I came across this Argan Oil by Silk Elements. I debated whether or not to get it because I know I could have gotten more fluid ounces of another brand that I really liked elsewhere, for the same price, but couldn't ever find again because sold out every time since it was Sally's last bottle, I went with it. So far, I can't tell much of a difference between brands aside from price per fluid wise. I do love this stuff for my hair skin though. I bought a few bottles of this because it was on sale and had a coupon. I have been using DermOrganic Argan Oil for years never dreaming there would be anything better. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. It less expensive and a far more superior product. The shine is more vibrant the smell is the same barely there pureness. But again the shine and overall results when adding it to my chemical processes and just after shampooing is high quality.

Never have I been so in love with body butter. Not only does it smell amazeballs, it definitely leaves your skin feeling soft no sticky mess. Soaks into your skin if applying the right amount for you. Wish the container was big enough to sit in. This has a nice light whipped texture and yet a little goes a long way. Start off with a small amount and build as needed. It absorbs evenly and nicely into the skin. It is nice for dry parts of the skin like knees, elbows, and heels. It does have a fairly heavy fragrance which some might not enjoy. However, I love it. I put it on before bed and catch whiffs of it and relax. The price point is amazing on this. It is cruelty free which is a huge plus.chanel.c
This is a great product! It has a subtle floral scent (like ylang ylang), absorbs fully into the skin, and doesn't leave a greasy residue. There are a lot of great ingredients, like coconut oil, argan oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and wheat germ oil, and then there are some chemical additives that are likely batch additives used to preserve, add fragrance, or improve texture. I expected the ingredient list to be shorter and filled with only whole ingredients (butters, oils, extracts, and botanicals), based on the boutique-y feel of the packaging. That's my only real con, and the reason this is not a 5-star review. Oh- another positive is that this is made in the US and is cruelty free! I received this product free for review purposes. This product did come oily BUT after further inspection, the two bottles I received were not damaged or opened so I'm assuming it was from another at the factory or something? Anyways, mine were completely sealed, I just wiped them off with a towel and they're fine. I love how vitamin E makes my skin feel! However, I think the best bet for anyone is to try any new skincare product on a small portion of your skin to see how your skin reacts. I think everyone’s skin could be going through different things like hormones, stress, etc. So I am not sure that there is a “one size fits all” label. This Argan oil taught me this very valuable lesson. I have combination skin, mostly dry with a little oil in my T-Zone. This is the shower gel but I've already used the category for my other three MOROCANOIL body shower gel's so I just picked a category. This is my fourth addition to my MORROCANOIL body shower gel family and it's crazy that they just launched six new scents that all smell amazing, but the original MORROCANOIL scent that's been around forever is by far still the very best one. They all smell amazing, I have two more to purchase then I will have the full set but this body wash is what I use when I want to feel pampered. The scent lasts long after leaving the shower after you've dried off and gotten dressed. Okay so let me just say this is AMAZING! I purchased this product through Amazon for about $13.00 U.S dollars and I still have my bottle almost full so this product will last you forever unless you spill it lol but besides reading all of the positive reviews I purchased it because I augger from hyperpigmentation left from old acne, I have tried it all! I've tried a chemical peel wich did almost nothing for me, I do the monthly beauty facial and at home stuff let's just say I even burned my own skin with pure lemon because I didn't know what to try anymore so I have this a try and it's only been 3 weeks but I already see some spots lightening up! I'm so happy and it also does not leave the skin oily or greasy! I apply it at night just because I want to give the product a fair shot on it's own. There isn't a bad scent to it, to me it just smells like regular oil not roses lol. It does leave the face a little yellow but it comes off when you wash off the next day. I ordered the rosehip oil after finding many glowingly positive reviews, and it has stood up to the expectations thus far. It's yellowish when I put a tiny bit on my hand to use on my face, but it doesn't make my face seem discoloured, which is nice. It has a quiet, good, natural scent, not overwhelming. Definitely not as strong as a perfume or a roll-on essential oil, but enough of a smell that it makes me happier when I use it. I haven't used it very long, but I have already noted some results. I have combination skin, so my skin is both too oily and too dry, but the oil helps with both problems! My skin is significantly less dry when I use it consistently, and it's less oily as well. At first, it seemed counterintuitive and almost wrong to put oil on my face when I wanted less oil, but as long as you use a small enough amount and rub it in well, there are no negative effects that I've seen so far. I usually put the palm of my hand tight over the top of the bottle and turn it upside down, then rightside up immediately after, and that is the perfect amount for my face. I apply it and make sure it's all rubbed in, and then I'm done! I'd recommend washing your face with a wet washcloth beforehand, just to make sure you're not trapping gunk, and then applying whatever face stuff you use that usually dries out your skin (I use teatree oil to calm my acne, and it works miracles), waiting for that to dry a bit, and then using the rosehip oil. Most oils, in fact most skincare products break me out eventually, but the two times I've used Argan oil for extended periods it has calmed my skin down completely. Hydration is adequate, although not as potent as an actual moisturizer and yet it's not oily – any Argan oil on the surface of my face has more or less vanished within half an hour or so of application. Coming from someone who has very oily skin, this is quite unbelievable! The very first time I tried, it was straight after a reaction to Clinique's DDMG. I didn't expect I could get away with using this on my face but it was literally the only thing available to me at that moment that was fragrance-free and natural. I cautiously applied a couple of drops to my flaky forehead on a night and checked the mirror first thing in the morning. What a surprise! No bumps, no increase in flakiness and my skin felt less tight. I then thought "what the hell" and used a few more drops that morning. I did this every AM and PM. Each passing day my skin became restored more and more to its former condition – clear, flake free and breakout free. I eventually stopped using it only because my skin was 'reset' and I was itching to try some new products again (nothing new there!). I have just one gripe with Josie Maran's version and that is the price…$49 for 1.7 fl oz is a LOT for Argan oil! If it had anything added to it I could understand, but it's literally 100% Argan oil. So is the bottle at my local organic food store and it contains double the amount for less than half the price. As I do like JM's bottle and dropper I think once I run out I'll just refill it rather than purchase another. Simplistic, but a good safety net product for me whenever I need to get my skin back to its normal self. Also perfect for my hair (a couple of drops) daily and on cuticles. This is my holy grail skin care product. A few years ago I noticed a small wrinkle forming between my brows. In my panic I found a sample of this argan oil and decided to try it. When I woke up the next morning I noticed an overnight improvement in my wrinkle. After a couple of weeks of consistent argan oil application the wrinkle was gone! I immediately purchased a full size version of the bottle and have been buying consistently ever since. A friend of mine used it for a wrinkle as well with the same success. Aside from that, the product is very hydrating and gentle on my sensitive skin. It’s versatile and works beautifully on my hair, nails, and any dry areas on my body. is non-comedogenic so it isn’t supposed to clog your pores and should be safe for acne prone skin. However, I think the best bet for anyone is to try any new skincare product on a small portion of your skin to see how your skin reacts. I think everyone’s skin could be going through different things like hormones, stress, etc. So I am not sure that there is a “one size fits all” label. This Argan oil taught me this very valuable lesson. I have combination skin, mostly dry with a little oil in my T-Zone. This winter has made my skin completely change and do things that it has never done previously. My face is extremely dry, so much that my nose started peeling. I use skin care twice daily, serums, moisturizer’s, etc. I decided to buy the Josie Maran “plump and juicy” skin care kit. (I know..the name makes me laugh too😅) The first few days, I was in love! My skin felt so smooth, I had a healthy glow and my nose stopped peeling completely. My skin had a beautiful glow that I haven’t recieved in other products this quickly and it did not make my face look overly shiny at all. I was very happy with the results. Now for the possibly bad result. After using this in conjunction with and I got a pretty severe acne breakout on my chin. I don’t normally have an issue with acne. I don’t know for sure that these products caused the breakout. If it didn’t then it is a huge coincidence considering these were the only new products I added to my routine. I will say that I wondered if using the Argan oil and Argan milk was overkill considering they are essentially the same thing with a different delivery system. I think that I will continue to use this Argan oil in moderation with my other skincare routines. A drop or two as the final step in my routine has proved the most beneficial.lorrie.m
