The price was cheaper than anywhere else online or in store, the bike arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. This is a great starter bike that can be upgraded, this is not your Mongoose from the 80s and you will want to upgrade the brakes because the ones on it are awful. Over all Im very pleased with the purchase. Just FYI I also purchase a Mongoose Malas, Malas and Hitch and Dolomites are all the same bikes just different color schemes. Happy Riding!!Kenneth

Solid Bike with a solid ride. In the short time I have owned and ridden the bike, it performs very well on street, dirt, and mildly rocky terrain. My only comment for improvement is with the owner's manual. It is too detailed and not necessary. For a partially pre-assembled bike, a smaller quick assembly guide would be sufficient. It is very easy to assemble and takes less than a hour to put the front tire, handle bars, seat, an pedals on. That's all you need to do and the assembly is completed. I would definitely recommend buying this bike. I will like upgrade the seat, as it has been a few years since I rode a bike and now prefer a more cushioned seat.AHAW

I have had this bike for about a year and have ridden it year round, in snow, sand, mud and on pavement. This is the best walmart bike I have ever owned. That being said, the brakes are weak for disc brakes. They do not feel very reliable and they struggle to stop this heavy beast. Stock brakes didn't have enough power to lock up the rear wheel even with most of my weight off it. I upgraded to some entry level, but name brand brakes which made a huge difference. After about 8 months of ownership, the derailer cable stopped working, totally froze up. And after about 12 months the free wheel ratchet stopped working. So I am in the process of putting a new cable, new freewheel gear cluster and a few other parts on it. I highly recommend putting a different gear cluster in the rear to give it better torque, especially if you plan on using this on trails or numerous hills. That being said it is still a decent bike out of the box. Everyone says it is slow, but it really isn't once you get into shape. I can keep up with people on conventional bikes on flat ground, and can go places they can't. If you want to try a fat tire bike, this is probably the best way to start. There is no way to describe the sensation of riding through snow packed single track with 3 feet of snow on either side, navigating dense forest silently and with relative ease. Or riding along the shores of Lake Superior, or through sandy trails with stability. It can turn around without stopping even in deep sand. For the first week of owning it I felt like an 8 year old riding a pedal powered monster truck. Seriously, lots of fun. As an added bonus the tires sound like a herd of angry mosquitoes once you get it rolling at a good clip, so other people on the bike path know you are coming, you will never need a horn!Nope

probably have to tinker with it a little to get it just so, the seat… probably needs a better one… if u value your assets, tighten ALL the fitting on it with the appropriate size wrench (u do have tools, yes? ) I will probably get a CHEAP/WIDE $5 inner tube, cut the valve stem out of it and use it as a tread/tube liner so that thorns do not puncture the tire/tube; put it between the inner tube that is in there and the BACK tire… as I wud any bike as thorns are prevalent here and fixing 7 flats in 3 days because I was CHEAP and didn't get the HEVI WATE INNER TUBES on my last NEW bike was …. and education to do IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME so I didn't have to do it again… and again and again. SLIME is hard to get into the tires through the NARROW hole in the air thingy even with the Schrader valve removed. LOCKS, U LOCKS AND HEVI WATE CHAIN… if u want to keep the bike; as sometimes they ride off by themselves if left anywhere. cable "locks" are ornaments (don't ask how I KNOW this) and not worth throwing out. some gearheads have taken the bearings apart and greased them and have said they are tightened TOO TIGHT from the factory, but DO NOT LOSE THE BEARINGS!!! carpet catches bearings, hard floors=scattered bearings=bad. tires are said to be HEAVY compared to after market, but that is not all bad as once get the tires rolling… INERTIA KEEPS THEM ROLLING with a little effort so that is good. like kicking the clutch out on a BIG TRUCK on the highway… it will coast a LONG WAY with all that weigh/inertia built up in its mass/wheels/tires.18LiterDETROITDIESEL

First of all, it sure is a slap in the face to see the price drop $17 just two weeks after I got it. Now then, my experience has been much the same as other reviews. It is a barely "OK" bike, I guess for the money nowadays. It is built and billed as a "Mountain Bike" which is the furthest thing I intend to use it for. From what I gather, you would have to add another zero to the price to get a genuine, usable mountain bike. I am 68 years old wanting to get some exercise. And when I saw this Fat Tire bike, I had to have it. It is the closest I have seen to the old (even then) bike I had as a kid in the fifties and sixties. I will probably end up spending as much extra to make the bike marginally usable, as the bike cost to start with. It is in the shop right now and I'm not doing that much yet. The seat if terrible. The brakes, we'll have to see after they are adjusted right. I have a new seat ready to put on when I get it back. I had the shop put on a steering riser (probably not right term) to raise the handlebars. Keeping original bar for now but may have to replace that too. And replacing the brake levers. If the brakes don't improve (a lot!!) I'll either replace them, or sell the whole bike and get something else. I even got new pedals. The reflectors on the original pedals break off easily. The shifter is a PITA because it wants to change as you are gripping the bar. It should have been a lever or something. And high gear is not even as high as my old single speed. What good is THAT? As a direct result of the enormous price difference I decided to purchase the Dolomite just to try out a fat bicycle with the full entention of purchasing a far more expensive model if I enjoyed the larger design. I was surprisingly blown away! The Dolomite had arrived at my front door in only two days. I discovered assembly to be rather simple, but as a safety measure I walked the Dolomite ten blocks to my neighbourhood bicycle repair store for an overall examination; at the bicycle shop both disc brakes were properly calibrated, grease was added to the handle bar support collar, a water bottle cage was placed onto the frame, tires were inflated to proper pressure and then were placed in their recommended rotational direction. Finally, the seat pole was adjusted to a safe and comfortable height. I paid my service charge, quickly place my helmet on and then brought my bicycle onto the New York City streets. The ride was so comfortable due to the large amount of inflated rubber between the road bed and the large 4 inch rims. In addition, at slow speeds and at accelerated speeds the tires are constantly providing exceptional traction; I remained in full control of the bicycle as I effortlessly floated above the New York City man hole covers, large steel plate covers, pot holes and the ubiquitous sewer drainage grids. The weight of the bicycle is an attribute when descending steep hills, but when ascending hills be prepared to pump vigorously. The gears do shift rather accurately to their corresponding numbers, but not the smoothest shift. I didn’t go for the cheapest option out there, so I was disappointed when I had a lot of issues with the bike that was delivered. After assembling it I took it to a bike shop to have it checked out, and I had to immediately take the chain guard off because the chain was catching. At the shop I was told they were surprised the bike left the warehouse in the condition it was. The crank shaft is loose, the shifting was messed up, and the front wheel is very not true. When I reached out about the problems Retrospect wasn’t very helpful. The shop said the front wheel should just be replaced. I also realized both wheels are not holding air for very long, so this is another item for me to get fixed on a very new bike. I am hoping a phantom screeching sound is from the crank shaft and will be fixed when that is tightened. Bike was advertised to fit a rider height of 5’2-5’5, I’m 5’3. But when the bike came it was huge, I couldn't even stand over it. No big deal right? There’s a 50 day return policy. But returning the bike was a nightmare, I had theres a $55 return fee, and a $185 restocking fee. The restocking fee only gets refunded if the bike is in pristine condition, so if you take the bike on a test drive and can’t get the asphalt stain out of the tires… good luck. I think I had to call customer service 3 times. I’m only giving a 3 star rating because they delete any reviews under 3 starts.Yuliza H.

Didn’t think I’d have to measure my inseam since the smallest size specified it would fit riders 5’2 to 5’5. Being in the middle of that height bracket, I didn’t think it would be an issue. I was wrong. Totally heartbroken that this bike is WAY too tall for me, seems like false advertisement… No returns since it was on sale. After many years of not owning a Bike I decided on this model after reading mostly positive reviews and for the price. Also the 7 Speed gearing was attractive to me instead of the 21 Speed ones they had in the store. Ordered it online to pick up at my local store and I decided to assemble it myself, I'm not super handy but is simple enough to do, the most complex part is the front brake adjustment which I couldn't do because the front wheel was wobbly, so I took it to my local bike shop where they gave it a simple tune up for $25, which included rectifying the wobbly front wheel, adjusting the brakes and the rear derailleur among checking all other components. This is the main reason of my 4 Star rating. I like the style of this bike and after testing it on a short ride I use it on 3rd gear on the mostly flat and paved surfaces in my neighborhood and the seat feels comfortable enough. The frame says Kent Hybrid, so this bike is part road bike/part mountain bike, which means is not as fast as a true road/commuter bike but most of us won't join the Tour de France, so it's more than adequate at this price point. Also the frame says 6061 Alloy which to me means is an Aluminium frame and the package was labeled as 35.2 pounds, so that is the weight of this bike. I intend to use it for the occasional ride around my house and for exercising; and I think this bike will be just fine for that.Aviator

The description of this bike on the website states that it has a steel frame however the frame is clearly marked as a 60/61 alloy which I understand is unusual for cheaper bikes. That combined with the dual suspension and the one bye seven drivetrain seemed to make this a competitive value in a big box bike. Oddly enough, at this time the black version of this bike is $60 dollars less that the blue. That makes it even better. This is definitely a comfort bike and is advertised as such. If you need something for rugged terrain then you'll need to search further.David

Overall, I was pleased with this bicycle. I very much liked the click gear shifters and the road tires. After hitting a pothole on one of our local, poor-quality Illinois service roads and seeing my first flat, I was surprised. After removing the tire and tube, I noticed a metal shaving from the air valve hole still resting within the wheel! I would not have expected that kind of sloppiness from a Schwinn, even if they are all made in China now. That aside, the bike is a real pleasure, and my travel times have definitely improved against my cheap Wal-Mart Roadmaster! This is a very good bike for the price. Target card gives you a 5%discount, which is a plus. For a 1st road bike, i would recommend this bike. Only 2 reasons why I do not give it 5 stars is because of the following reason: 1) I cannot give it 4.5 2) some issues with the gears and breaks which need to be tweaked. I would recommend taking it to the bike shop if you can for assembly. I work on cars, and this didn't scare me so I worked it out myself. With the price in mind, you will be hard pressed to get an equivalent bike for the price. Poorly made and once you buy it, unless you dont ride it, you cant return it. No service in store. No help if there is a problem and this bike has a s ton of problems. The throttle only works when you are pedaling since day 2. The brakes do not stay adjusted. The seat post is awful to adjust to various heights and is the epitome of the poor quality of this bike top to bottom. Removing the front wheel to travel and re attach is most junky. WOW WOW WOW – I have always dreamed of owning an electric bike. This Schwinn bike does everything. You can peddle or not peddle. It has a smooth ride even when on bumpy roads. I am so impressed with this machine. It charges up quickly and stays charged for long periods. The size of it is good for me being 5ft 6inches and for my husband that is 6ft 1inches. We can both ride it. My husband weighs 215lbs and it rides just as smoothly as it does with me on it weighing 170lbs. It took about an hour to put together by the both of us. Totally worth every tightening of screw. It had some charge to it ready when we assembled but we put on charger for about an hour and it was roaring to go. I am just in love with this bike. I bought this bike about 7 weeks ago. I can't tell you how much I love this bike. I am 65 and just getting back into biking. This bike makes it easy to explore new places without the worry of getting to tired to make it back home. I ride 4 days a week around 20 miles a day. I feel great. So, I have had this bike for a few weeks now. It is a ton of fun to ride. I am a big guy 5'11' and 330 lbs. The frame and tires are very sturdy. The bike was very easy to finish the assembly out of the box. It may require some fine tuning to get the wheels properly centered and the derailleur working 100%. That stuff is pretty easy to do. The gear shift is a twist shift. So, if you have large hands like myself it can be a bit of an issue. My issue with the twist shift is that I felt like I couldn't really hold the right grip with my full hand without shifting the gears. I swapped it out for a thumb shifter, replaced the grips, and bought a gel seat. After those mods, it is quite comfortable to ride. The only complaint I have about the bike really is that it is free wheel, not a cassette. So, if you want to swap out the gears on the bike, the choices are somewhat limited unless you replace the rear wheel as well. Overall, it is a great bike for the money. I would highly recommend it.Mike

The bike is awesome, rides so smooth, I don't feel any bumps. And it looks so cool! The right pedal screwed onto the crank by hand with ease. The left side pedal threading, or the threading in the crank, was stripped. I was able to get it on, but it's crooked. So it might not last long. I need the left crank and pedal replaced. The gears switch easily, and are smooth. However, the lowest gear won't stay in gear, just continues to skip. Not a big deal for me, cause I love in Florida and there's no hills, so I won't need to be using the lowest gear. Overall, I'm super happy with the bike. I'm not impressed with Mongoose's QA, because there's been a lot of people complaining about the pedals stripping when attaching to the crank, and eventually breaking. The cutest bike that ever was. The olive green color is awesome. It's great for quick rides around town and I love the step through design (skirts and heels to dinner are doable!). My boyfriend assembled the bike for me and said it was fairly easy to put together. The metal chain cover arrived bent causing the chain to catch on it. We had to bend and pound the metal piece to fit. Overall the bike is best in my opinion for flat commutes. If I lived somewhere with more hills I'd be bummed because first gear is sometimes not low enough for steeper roads (which compared to other places I've lived are still pretty mellow considering) and I'm not sure the 8 speed would fix that issue. I'm also 5'5" and find the handle bars a tad too far away from the seat, by about an inch. My body position is in this awkward not-leaning-forward-not-sitting upright position, which gets a bit annoying after awhile. That said, for a price tag of under $500 including tax and shipping, I can't complain. It's great for what I wanted and I get compliments everywhere I go 'cause it's cute af.Brittany D.

A very solid bike for the price point. Is it trying to do anything fancy? No, but it is a great option for someone looking to get from A to B without breaking the bank. When I was researching this as a gift for my girlfriend, I noticed a few complaints about the weight and the build quality. To those points, I would say the following: Weight: overall, the bike is not super light, so it can be a little unwieldy when trying to load it into a vehicle. That said, it is not too heavy, and rides fairly smoothly. The bigger factor is how the weight is distributed across the bike (center of gravity, in essence). Most of the weight feels like it sits between the rider and the rear wheel, with the front feeling very light in comparison. This is not an issue in any way, but it does create a bit of a learning curve for cornering, as well as for stopping on down-slopes. Just be aware that it will take some getting used to. Build quality: lined up with what I would expect for the price point. The frame and primary components seem solid, and while some of the smaller nuts and bolts for things like the fenders are a little on the soft side, they didn't present any issue for me on install. As a side note, I did the initial assembly of the bike upon receipt just to make sure nothing was missing or obviously damaged, but I took it to a shop for final alignment, tightening, and tuning setup. There were no issues to be found, and it was pretty intuitive to assemble, to the point where I almost didn't need the instructions. What I will say is that the brakes needed significant adjustment out of the box, which is part of the reason I entrusted the initial setup to professionals. My GF and I have ridden the bike several times now on variable length trips (1 mile – 20 miles), and the bike performed reasonably well for all use cases. The seat did get a touch uncomfortable toward the end of the 20 mile trip, but not to the point of being unbearable (I should also mention that this is coming from the stance of someone who is not used to sitting on bike seats for any length of time). It rides and shifts well through the midrange gears, but gets a bit noisy in the lowest gear, and the highest gear is feels like it really only wants to be used when going down a pretty steep hill to try to build speed. The weight in the tail is also very noticeable when climbing steep grades, encouraging the rider to lean forward more than usual, but not to an uncomfortable degree. Overall, this is a very usable and well priced bike. It isn't perfect, but it exceeded my expectations. I have not had it long enough to comment on long term reliability/ serviceability. P.S. I would strongly consider upgrading the brakes if planning to use this bike in hilly environments or as a daily rider, just for a bit of extra stopping power and response. Firstly, the parcel was sent in the thinnest, least-protective box imaginable. I've gotten Amazon boxes of cotton balls more fortified. It was also shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, which means it was subject to a contractor's whims and handled roughly. It not only came late, but the box had several large holes and I'm pretty sure some of the hardware fell out in the process because it was missing two bolts. The derailleur hanger was bent upon receipt as a result of banging around for days and days in transit. Now I have to spend additional money and time having it repaired. They quoted us $100. Retrospec did refund just under that, so they did make it right in that regard, but it's now been two weeks and I haven't gotten to ride my bicycle once. I can't review the actual bike yet, but I wanted to call out the shoddy box and the choice to use FedEx instead of UPS, which is consistently better for packages like this. Just a bit of extra padding, especially for models with a delicate derailleur, and I would have been singing its praises and having fun on my vacation instead of feeling sad every time I see someone else enjoying a bike. Both rims on bike were not true, I am a pretty good bike mechanic, I had a spoke wrench, and I could not true them. As a result, the brakes did not work properly, they rubbed on the rim high spots all the time…… Also, derailleur was not adjusted right, it would not shift into low gear. I emailed Firmstrong Help and they reacted immediately and had me go to a local bike shop to get rims trued and derailleur tuned. They paid for it! I was impressed, I did not even ask them to pay. Bike works perfectly now…………So this bike would be a 3 star if Firmstrong had not taken action, it is now a 5 star bike. Bike now works perfectly, it is very smooth, perhaps the smoothest riding bike I have ever owned, the steering is great, I love the cruiser handlebars, since the allow me to ride upright instead of bent over like some hunchback………….and the saddle is very wide and comfy for my large butt. If you are into comfort, this is your bike! I am tired on those bikes where you have to lay flat on top of them and your butt is so sore from those horrible hard seats you cannot even enjoy the bike ride.Kenneth W.

I absolutely love this bike! I was a little worried about getting a single speed but so glad I did. The bike was shipped to my home so I had to assemble it, adjust the brakes and chain tension, and it was good to go. Everything on the bike works really well. I absolutely love this bike. I have always wanted a beach cruiser but women’s cruisers are generally not made for tall women. Enter ThreeSixZero and their genius inclusion of a “will this bike fit my body” calculator on their website. I entered my height and weight and it gave me a list of all the cruisers that would work for me. I was able to buy with confidence that I wouldn’t be smacking my knees on the handlebars. I chose the single speed because there is some assembly required and I didn’t want to deal with brake lines or complicated gears. The bike came very well packaged and was really easy to put together; I was riding my bike within an hour of opening the box! My husband was instantly jealous of my new ride and I ended up getting him his own cruiser (again using the calculator since he’s quite tall) for Valentine’s Day. Now we take rides together any chance we get, and often choose to ride our bikes to the store instead of wasting gas taking a car. I can’t recommend this company enough!RisW

I purchased the Around the Block Men's Bicycle. I had one issue when tightening the saddle so that it did not tilt downward when sitting on it. I tried to lock it down, but overtightened one side until the threads deteriorated and the nut popped off. This was my fault, and I should have tightened both sides evenly. I mention this because the customer service to replace the saddle was fantastic and I did not have any issues tightening as intended after receiving a new saddle, which was shipped promptly. But after getting the saddle secured, I had an issue tuning the braking mechanism on the rear tire. The rear tire itself was warped to where I had to choose between rubbing slightly on the brakes every revolution, or opening the brakes so much that it had no braking power. It took a lot of tuning, but I eventually found a brake setting with minimal rub and moderate braking power, and just relied on the front brakes after that. I have no doubt the customer service would have also responded to this issue, but after the saddle thing I kind of wanted to figure it out myself. Still, the rear wheel did come warped and I could have pursued getting a new one. Everything else was good and the frame and gear mechanism seemed like quality parts. Due to the warped tire, I would give 3/5 but the customer service is 5/5 so average review is 4/5.curtisbrian2

When covid and lockdown first started, I was looking for fun and effective ways to work out at home/socially distanced. A friend suggested getting a bike and I began researching different options and brands. I was (and still am) a total newbie but sixthreezero seemed like the right move based on reviews and price point. I ordered a bike and it arrived ahead of schedule and was incredibly easy to assemble. I was up and riding within a half hour and WOW. The reviews just didn’t do the bike justice. I bought mine October 2020, it appears and these photos support it to be a 2019 mediocre level being sold for the premium model current year price. Please look at the GT Bikes website first. In store assembly was A Very Poor Experience. I was told there is No warranty at all unless I purchase Dicks extended warranty. The bike was handed off to me by an unfriendly mechanic who offered nothing and only gave me an incorrect year manual after I asked and this begrudgingly out of a tool drawer. It appeared by its condition to have been there a while. Headset bearings/cage fell half way out during my first ride, neighborhood paved street, cables were not in guides, fork control lever fell off as I left the store, need I continue? I guess I should have expected it as the mechanic was upset that I was looking the bike over when he handed it off to me, and when I asked about the rims not being very straight he started reading a list of things included and not included with a new bike assembly. I asked the manager on duty as I was checked out, her response was to refer and defer to the mechanic only. Gt is a respected brand according to their competitors dealers, I simply would not buy one here. I intentionally waited 6 months to write a review to give myself a cool off period. I bought the bike about a month ago. I had higher expectations from the bike. Ended up going with GT because it was pricier and I thought it would be built better. One thing that I really hate about it is how it shifts gears on its own when I hit bumps or whenever I start pedaling harder from a complete stop. Also, at higher speed and doing sharp corners the bike feels a bit unstable. I also did not have the best experience with the bike assembly. Spent an extra hour and a half at home adjusting brakes, and tightening loose screws I found after bringing the bike home. Other than that the bike is great, looks awesome as well.arnycsok87

I've had so many issues with this bike. The first time I purchased it, it was never sent to me. I had to go through several people just to find someone who could fix this issue. Once I was in contact with the correct person, they had a new bike shipped, which unfortunately took longer than expected, however I was understanding and let that go. When the bike had arrived the box was beaten up. I also was understanding of that inconvenience. I finally was unboxing the bike when I noticed the bike rotor was bent. I told myself that I do not have time to return it. I needed it for transportation to work. I properly assembled the bike and let the rotor rub against the brake and listened to the horrid squeal all the way to work. The biggest issue was the recent issue. This bike has been well taken care of. It is even stored in the house and I have had it less than a year. I bike two miles to work….. As I was riding home the chain snapped off my bike. Into pieces. I was in disbelief. I spoke with an employee named Lacy about the issue and she said I need to call the manufacturer. I asked for the number and she said she would find it. I wrote the number down and repeated it back to her. I get off the phone with Lacy and call the number… IT WAS THE WRONG NUMBER! Cannot believe I spent so much money on this bike.Disappointed01

I had a great GT in the past and was excited about this bike. I went for the first ride and the front derailer would not go from 2 to 3. My bike had MicroShift and not Shimano. The outer thumb trigger is about a 3 inch push to engage the gears which was uncomfortable to begin with. I figured I would get use to that but took it back for adjustment. Dicks put it on the stand and went through the gears with no issue And said i needed to push further. I went to the parking lot and pushed to the point the plastic could have broken with the same issue going from 2 to 3. I was told that you really don’t use those front gears anyways to prevent chain wear. I insisted another tech look at it and ride it. I got a call 8 hour shift later from another tech and he could not duplicate the issue but adjusted the front derailer to go out further. I picked up the bike and it failed to shift into 3rd before I got to the first park parking spot. I tried 3 more times and it failed 3 times. I took it right back inside where it was hung up between 2 and 3 and the tech couldn’t get it to engage. He shrugged his shoulder, said there wasn’t much he could do about it, adjusted it more and I took it outside. This time it struggled to get into 3 and wouldn’t return to 2. I walked in and asked for my money back. I am not sure if it was GTs fault, MicroShift, or Dicks but’s I won’t be using any of the 3 for future bikes.NotHappy55

I’m a talk gal. Long legs. The large frame fits me perfectly. The seat adjusts front to back by a lot do I found my perfect position. The shifter shifts so smoothly. I live in west coast florida so fairly flat. 7 speeds is sufficient. The pedals are wide and my feet are very comfortable on them. I really like this bike and for me that’s saying a lot. I’m a Giant rode bike owner and a Raleigh all terrain bike owner. Both of which I love. This is a nice addition.Jeanne P.

Love this city bike in blue with brown leather, the cute look of a beach cruiser but with the lightweight and speed of a city bike. It shipped so fast, got here in 5 days before Xmas!!!! Love the slim tires, pretty easy to put together, I did I myself in about an hour. So far I took it for a couple of 5 mile rides and it’s riding great. Looking forward to doing a longer 25 miles trail, let’s see how it holds up. Overall very happy, after saying I wanna get a bike for two years, I finally did it and love it! I was looking to begin commuting via bike and for something to cruise around with my partner. I legit do not know how to ride a bike, so I did not want to spend a bunch of money on something. I also didn’t want to have a vintage bike bc the shifters seem confusing to me. I’m 5’4” but for some reason I have a shorter inseam than I thought, and the diamond bikes are all just a tiny bit too big. I don’t like the curvy lines of most step-through bikes. The mixte was a good option for that. However, it says it fits people 5’ & I don’t think it would be a comfortable ride for anyone smaller than I am. I love the aesthetic of this bike and it’s a nice ride and fit. I had my partner take it for a spin because I have no experience for comparison. Others say it’s heavy, but I can lift it with moderate effort. Though i do not have to move it up or down any stairs. I docked a star because the gear shifter handle bar is really tiny. I like that my hand rests on the shifter and that the handle including the shifter is similar in size to the other handle, but it still somehow seems too small. Also, the outward angle of the handle bars make it impossible to read which gear I’m in. Not a big deal once I get more comfortable, but I live in a hilly area, so I’d like to have a sense which gear I’m in and which gear I prefer for various grades. The shifting did need quite a bit of tuning and tweaking. My partner took care of it because she likes to help and it was a quick refresher for her to learn (she rides a fixie), but others may have to pay someone for that work and should be aware that would be an additional cost, though I understand it’s to be expected of a mail delivery bike. One more tiny bummer is that the basket I ordered was confirmed then retracted for being out of stock. But the bike arrived really quickly, so it’s okay to wait for the basket to come back into stock. Overall, good bike for price.Tori L.

I purchased the bike for my nearly 14 year old grandson who is approx 5'7", probably a bit more. It's an absolute perfect fit. It was becoming difficult to find both the right size and look in the store. So we sized him in a store and decided to purchase directly from Huffy bc of the reputation of quality and service. That Tekton blue (not sure I have the correct color name) is "awesome" says the teen. I think it's gorgeous. His mom and dad assembled it with out much difficulty and has since left them feeling like empty-nesters because he's been all over God's green Earth each day. Just like my GenX kids…gone until the street lights start to come on with a random groups of kids stopping by now and then for a snack and a drink. Thank you Huffy! He couldn't be happier!!! Great bike. Only three minor complaints. Seat is very uncomfortable, brakes are difficult to adjust, and front derailleur hits chain in certain gears, making a clicking sound while you’re riding. I read the directions on the brakes and was doing it correctly I think but they just move around regardless of what screws you tighten, making contact with the wheel uneven and inconsistent.Joec
