I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. This personally worked great for me. I used it on my legs. I put it on, waited about a minute then got in the shower. I washed my face and everything else, which took maybe about 3 minutes. The nair didn't just come off when the water ran down my legs, which was great. After that I rubbed it off in circular motions with a wash rag. Took all the hair and left my legs super smooth. I had tried veet before, and that left my legs a little red and itchy. This did not. This also doesn't have as bad a smell as the normal nair. It definitely still smells, just not as bad. Unfortunately I decided to try this product as it caught my eye and lured me with its fancy packaging and appealing price. I read the directions and proceeded to apply the product as instructed, waited the desired amount of time, which was halfway between the minimum and maximum limits, and used the cute little spatula to scrape off the cream. What came off was not my hair, but rather my beliefs that anything could be less effective than a dull razor, which I had to use because my legs were still covered in a layer of mangled hair and disappointment. Not only did this product fail to remove my hair, but it took almost the whole bottle to even cover my legs with one layer. This product was the biggest waste of my time, effort and money that I have ever encountered, but it all might just be worth it to write this review and warn the thousands, perhaps even millions of unsuspecting consumers that may be inclined to make the same mistake that I did when I decided to buy this terrible product.

I've been using this product for about a year. Before I would use Sally Hansen. It works. It does miss a few spots especially in the upper lip. I do find that the hair growths a little faster compared to Sally Hansen especially in the beginning, however, if you keep using it once a week for a year, the hair growth does slow down. It does not smell as strong as other hair removal creams. There is less time required for the hair removal. The tube is really easy to get the cream out of. I like the moisturizer it comes with. It does not burn my sensitive skin especially if you leave it on an extra 2 minutes compared to Sally Hansen where my face would be super red and inflammed. Make sure to moisturize often, Glee does dry you out a little more. Negatives: The plastic hair removal tool SUCKS! I used it twice could never get it to quite work. Just use a damp cloth, it is much faster and works so much better. You will see actual results with a damp cloth versus the plastic crap. For the price, the tubes are a bit small. You can probably get about 3-4 uses, so it's not the most budget friendly. Mentioned it above, it tends to miss certain areas especially areas you really want to get rid of (for me always the upper lip) and the hair does growth back faster than others so I'd suggest trying it out for a month and seeing how it works for you, but I still recommend.migonz1990
ok so I've only tried this once. Used it on legs and bikini area. Left on the minimum time, as instructed. Hopped in shower. And nothing. Nothing came off!. And the little scraper? Very rough edges-felt as though it was scratching my legs. So i wasnt actually able to use it, but i did use a wash cloth. I will try once more and leave on max time-will update if there are changes. *I really like the thickness of this product. Love that there isn't a harsh smell. I got this for a few hairs that are starting to sprout above my upper lip (don't get old, folks!). I purchased it because this was specifically 'for the face', and was worried about such a sensitive area. I would advised, especially for your first time , using this product to cut the time in half. The box said 5-7 minutes. After 4, the hair was already gone (still completely gone 2 weeks later with no signs of growing back yet), but I was still irritated. Slight redness that went away within the hour, and the next day a little skin dryness/flaking. Nothing major–it was remedied with a good face wash and some lotion. Next time I'll cut back to about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Now, keep in mind that I am VERY fair skinned, the hairs that were growing in were a dark blonde to light brown, and they were not thick–they were fine hairs. I did not need a very thick layer either, so I'd say this one tube of product is going to last me well over a year–I hope it has a LONG shelf life!

It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? I was pretty skeptical of this product, especially after the numerous negative reviews. My skin is incredibly sensitive, I regularly get rashes from supposedly sensitive skin products. I applied it as instructed (waiting one minute outside the shower then got in) and it all immediately washed off. I was disappointed. When I got out, I dried off my legs then applied it again. I left it on for about 8 minutes then rinsed it off with a washcloth. It worked wonders on my legs! My hair is thinner and pretty fine, so it may just not work well on thick hairs. I also used it in my armpits which worked but it did burn slightly. Once I rinsed it off, I immediately put on a nourishing deodorant and an aloe based lotion on my legs and they feel good. I got this a while ago in hopes to not have to razors anymore. I have used Nair once before but that was a liquid kind of like lotion in a bottle. So here's my thoughts on the wax strip. They are a nice small convention size. When you separate them you end up with 2 strips which I did not expect. They come with what I describe as wet naps which are covered in oil. My guess is baby oil. They are to clean the excess wax off the area. I did a test on my leg first to see if it would be painful which is the only positive I can say is it was painless. The annoying part is all the wax the strips leave behind. I tried the wipes that came with it which just wanted to stick to the area. The strips did not appear to remove any hair. Frustrated with the wax still on my leg I tried a baby wipe which just made a layer of wipes stick to my leg. So then I got in the shower and used hot water and soap which I thought worked until I got out and dried off to discover white from the baby wipe still there and my leg was still sticky. Next I tried hand sanitizer knowing it has alcohol in it and it still didn't remove the wax. After that I tried peroxide and yeah the wax is still currently on my leg. Frustrated and defeated I gave up. Only thing I can come up with is GooBGone which my bf is going to get now. Needless to say I'm glad I tested these on my leg and not my face or bikini area. Funny how as a mature female, hair growth on the legs and under arms decreases, but facial hair growth triples! That being said, I'm not quite growing a beard and mustache, but it sure feels like it. While I can plunk the neck/chin hairs, the hair on my upper lip requires more attention. I've tried shaving it, but hate how tender the area feels for a few days afterwards. I've tried having it professionally waxed, but no matter which salon I use, the area ALWAYS blusters. I was a bit anxious to try these straps, because of the pain I associate with upper lip waxing. I must say, it wasn't that bad at all. Thankfully. I applied the strip, which leaves the wax in place. I then used the back of the same strip, to remove it. Really easy. These wax strips come in two different sizes, one for upper lip and the other for bikini area. When you pull them apart you can use both pieces and there is no need to warm them in your hand before use. Both my daughter and I used them with varying results. Her soft upper lip hair was removed easily. I had a few hairs that were shorter and thicker on my upper lip that it was not able to remove. I have had my upper lip hair professionally waxed before and these strips offer a good alternative. Moving to the bikini area, it did remove hair, but took multiple attempts and was not a pain-free experience. As I moved to new areas I lost my will to “rip the strip” and “embrace the pain”, and waved my white flag, letting my hair follicles win the battle. I have never had a professional bikini wax because I don’t really want to expose myself to strangers. So these strips will allow you to remove some hair in the privacy of your own home. I think the only way I could use these successfully on my bikini area would be if I had some help. It is hard to do by yourself and eventually I just couldn’t muster up the strength to rip the hair off anymore. The post waxing towelettes are a must to remove all the excess stickiness. What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. Given these factors I don't think I will bother with it again and will stick to shaving until the salons are open. I did a patch test in my bikini area for 6 minutes and I didn't have a bad reaction but also it only took away half the hair. So a few days later I decided to apply all over and leave it for 10 minutes nothing more as they said don't exceed 10 min. But I STILL GOT A CHEMICAL BURN. it was so painful I never experienced such pain before. It was so hard to wash and only cold water help. I later applied neosporin and after that day I've been using coconut oil to not let my already burned skin rub against each other and cause me more pain. I'm never using it again. This is the best product for my skin and hair type. I have extremely dark hair and I have a fair complexion. I tried bleaching but it just turned my mustache into a blonde mustache. 😂 I’ve tried waxing but the skin on my face is way too sensitive for that. So this cream hair remover is what I use. There are two things that you need to do when using this product. One, spot test. I know most products say to spot test but it’s EXTREMELY important to do this so you know if you’re going to have a reaction and how long you should leave it on for. I literally JUST used mine and left it on for 30 seconds too long and I can feel my upper lip burning. And the second thing you need to do before using is check the expiration date. Once I did my normal routine and my face started burning so badly. I knew I didn’t leave it on too long so when I started checking around the bottle and packaging, I saw it was expired. It burned my face so badly that it actually scabbed! BUT if you follow the directions and check the date, it’s the best product I’ve been able to find to meet my needs. This product is my weekly go-to. I have naturally very fine hair on my face and body. Due to the sensitive nature of my skin, I choose not to remove the hair due to breakouts, general itchiness, and the unappealing regrowth aesthetic. I bleach the “peach-fuzz” on my face once a week using this product and it delivers! The downside is that this has an itchy and burning sensation, but the workaround I’ve found is to lightly prep and moisturize the skin with coconut oil! The smell is still strong, but my skin doesn’t feel as irritated. This is the best product for my skin and hair type. I have extremely dark hair and I have a fair complexion. I tried bleaching but it just turned my mustache into a blonde mustache. 😂 I’ve tried waxing but the skin on my face is way too sensitive for that. So this cream hair remover is what I use. There are two things that you need to do when using this product. One, spot test. I know most products say to spot test but it’s EXTREMELY important to do this so you know if you’re going to have a reaction and how long you should leave it on for. I literally JUST used mine and left it on for 30 seconds too long and I can feel my upper lip burning. And the second thing you need to do before using is check the expiration date. Once I did my normal routine and my face started burning so badly. I knew I didn’t leave it on too long so when I started checking around the bottle and packaging, I saw it was expired. It burned my face so badly that it actually scabbed! BUT if you follow the directions and check the date, it’s the best product I’ve been able to find to meet my needs. This product is my weekly go-to. I have naturally very fine hair on my face and body. Due to the sensitive nature of my skin, I choose not to remove the hair due to breakouts, general itchiness, and the unappealing regrowth aesthetic. I bleach the “peach-fuzz” on my face once a week using this product and it delivers! The downside is that this has an itchy and burning sensation, but the workaround I’ve found is to lightly prep and moisturize the skin with coconut oil! The smell is still strong, but my skin doesn’t feel as irritated. I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982
Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It did a great job in that area too! Normally I end up having a rash because of the friction of my butt cheeks lol. I really like the color of this groomer and like the little bag that zips up that can carry all the attachments. I also like that it is rechargeable and doesn't eat up batteries. The problem is that it doesn't get a very close shave. Some of the attachment heads are just useless to me. The foil shaver didn't work at all. The adjustable length guide was just a piece of junk that didn't work and I ended up removing it. It comes with a little detail trimmer and a battery. It didn't work at all. I thought maybe it was just a bad battery and replaced it with one brand new from a package that I had at home. It still didn't work. I just accepted the fact that I would not be using the detail trimmer as it appears to be broken straight out of the box. It states that you can use it wet or dry but I have only used it on dry skin and hair. It is convenient and easy to carry along with you while traveling. I used to have the old series of this trimmer that works with battery for more than 3 years before it quit. I bought this one based on my previous experience.. I'm definitely not the blessed ppl with hair. I have just enough as normal Asian ladies 😁 I only use this trimmer to trim my bikini area and armpit. I would say I'm little bit surprised how this upgraded version not really work better than my old trimmer. I really honestly surprised I have to take off the safety trim guide to make it work. It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. But it still works beautifully. And you know what, you have to have it on for 3 to 5 minutes, no longer than 10. I can live through that for the clear, hairless skin I want. This was my first time using an epilator and I see the appeal. The faster speed worked better for my legs. It was indeed painful, but the second time I went back to do it a second time and it hurt a little less, and every time after that much less so. I guess it's similar to doing your eyebrows. My lower legs it did a great job of removing all the hair — but my thighs it was less effective as the hair is much finer. The hair itself isn't that noticeable anyway because of how fine it is so that it missed some isn't a problem for me. Armpits are very painful to do. Bikini line not too bad but some areas hurt more than others. It's easy to hold and is relatively fast to do and ends up with a nice smooth finish that lasts much longer than shaving. Do it on Friday and you're good for the weekend and a few days into the week.LDeimos
This is my first experience with an epilator. It’s small and compact, easy to hold and grip while using and the instructions are easy to understand. I was nervous using it for the first time. It does take some getting used too and there is some minor discomfort. So far I’ve only used it on my legs, but I’m pleased with the results. I’ve been using Nair off and on for yeeeaaars. What can I say- it works. It stinks to high heaven, but it removes hair in about 10minutes and is mostly hassle-free. It leaves some kind of a weird residue when you try to wash off in the shower; but I learned many years ago that you can wash it off your body with shampoo first, and then continue with your regular products and your skin will be left smooth and hairless. I had an ex try to use it on his junk once – bad idea ğŸ¤ğŸ˜… His skin was very sensitive and did not tolerate the formula. I don’t have issues with sensitive skin on my body, so I never experienced that- but felt it important to mention that even though it says “sensitive skinâ€� on the package, it’s not great to use on sensitive skin. I got this product specifically for hair removal on my arms. I have thin blonde-ish hair on my arms, but a lot of it. When its completely grown out, it is very noticeable. I had been waxing but the appointments were further apart than I would have preferred and also costly. I decided to try this on recommendation from a friend. It works fairly well on my arm hair, I can go about two to three weeks in between uses, but it doesnt get *every* single hair and maybe thats an unfair expectation to have of it. However I did decide to try it out on my legs and stomach. My leg hairs are much thicker and coarser, as well as darker. I left it on for about 10 minutes and there was hardly any difference, I still had to shave after. I would give a 2/5 rating for this product on my legs. As for my stomach hair, its similar to my arm hair (I wear a lot of crop tops and in the sun the light catches the hair and I'd just rather not have any) but the results weren't as good. 3/5 for my stomach. I do like that the hair doesn't grow back pokey and I feel the hair growth has been slowed. I had *some* skin irritation but nothing some lotion couldn't remedy. I also like that I can use this product much more often than I could if I was going to get the hair removed with wax. Overall, I give it 4/5. I feel due to the nature of the product it may be hard to increase performance without making it too harsh.Nicole

Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I love this product. I have coarse hair and over the years have over-shaved (shaved past where I needed to) and shaved incorrectly, and in the opposite direction. I thought I was doomed to get waxes forever or save up for laser hair removal, but alas! Anyways, I have tried nair several times and immediately after applying felt tingling and burning. Never left it on long enough to see results. It also did not come with a sponge, so it was messy and the smell made my body wreak of rubber until my next shower. Yuck. Nair burned so much I wouldn't dare put it near my bikini area. Veet on the other hand exceeded my expectations. It comes with a sponge making the experience so much easier and tidy. No product is perfect but I'd say 95% of my unwanted body hair is gone (bikini, under arms, legs, stomach). I left it on for 12-13 minutes, and didn't get any type of chemical burn or irritation.
