I just love so many of the Aveeno brand products to be honest….but, Their skincare line is definitely where I spent the majority of the money i spend overall on this popular brand. One can never truly go wrong when choosing to add Aveeno to their skincare routine! And thats the truth! While i have used multiple products from their skincare line , I tend to prefer the 'Positively Radiant' line. I love the results I get when using the daily scrub and the moisturizer together in my skincare routine every day. The scrub itself is so gentle on the skin yet it effectively rejuvenates my appearance to perfection each n every time I use it. I can see the positive results when i use this cleansing scrub about 2 days out of the week as my exfoliator. I am always feeling much more confident on the days when ive exfoliated using the Positively Radiant scrub because i can literally see the brand new and bright skin on my face and neck area once i complete my morning skincare routine on these couple days out of every week that i incorporate this must-have product in said routine. Pretty much all aspects of my skincare routine change up here n there after several months of using one of the same products in any one of the multi-step routine for daily skincare. But for almost 2 years straight now, ive continued to use Aveenos Positively Radiant scrub as my exfoliator twice each week in order to get all those dulling dead skin cells off of my face thus revealing an absolutely POSITIVELY impeccable looking face when i finish my daily morning routine on these days! I just love it when i find skincare products that leave mey skin looking and feeling like ive used a high end product….and thats why this Aveeno product is a staple in my skincare routine every week !kara.f
I very rarely leave 1 star as a rating, but this is a product that truly warrants it – not so much due to the bad results which I'm always willing to look past, seeing as we all react differently to different products, but because of an additional factor that I'll get to in a moment. But first…I had high hopes for the scrub after using some of the other 'Positively Radiant' products which were great, but this did nothing for me. It didn't exfoliate properly (the flaky patches on my forehead were still there after using) and it did nothing whatsoever for brightening my skin tone after 1 week of using it. Considering it has only one single brightening ingredient in it: Soy Complex (Glycine Soja), and that too being far down on the ingredients list, I'm not too surprised. I also found it overly drying and noticed new dry/sore patches that I didn't have before. What exactly caused the dry patches I'm not certain, but there are a few contenders: 'Sodium Laureth Sulfate' being the most likely culprit. Why is SLS even IN a facial skincare product in 2022? It also has parabens in it and contains a fair amount of perfume to boot. 'Good for sensitive skin' it boldly claims, though going by the above ingredients that are definitely NOT suitable for sensitive skin types, I'm at a complete loss as to how. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub is a gentle daily exfoliating product with a pleasant, fresh scent. It provides very light exfoliation that achieves optimal effect with daily use. The product instructions recommend using once or twice a day. The first time I tried this product, I was a bit surprised at how light the exfoliation effect was. With a word like "scrub" in the product name, I expected something with a little more exfoliation power. This is not a product one uses to notice an immediate difference in skin texture (as is typical with other products described as "scrubs"). This product does not have the abrasiveness of other scrub products. I used it for several days in a row and only noticed a marginal difference in my skin. I believe that continued use over several weeks would be required to see the full results of this product. I believe this product would be best for people with sensitive skin or who otherwise only desire light exfoliation. I personally prefer to use a more abrasive scrub once or twice a week as opposed to a product such as this one. I do believe the use of the word "scrub" in the name of this product is a bit misleading, as it does not have the abrasiveness of other products that use this word. So be aware that if you are looking for the more intense exfoliation typically associated with products described as scrubs, this product will not provide that. I've tried many exfoliating scrubs over the years and they're either too harsh or do nothing at all. SCRUB OF YOUR LIFE IS AMAZING. It's gentle enough to use with an exfoliating mit, but works wonderfully pre-shave to get that silky smooth feel! I like the scent, but if your nose is sensitive it may be too strong. I have psoriasis and this has not upset it AT ALL. I received this product in exchange for a review, but I would definitely purchase this on my own accord. This scrub is awesome! It smells pretty like a light floral soapy scent. Not only does this have comfortable scrubbing beads but it also suds up like a soap. Other scrubs i have tried do not sud up. This one feels comfortable,meaning it's not too rough on the skin but does a good job exfoliating the skin. My skin feels very soft and renewed after using this. I also love the squeeze tube so I don't have to dig or scoop into a jar like most scrubs, I don't mind normal scrub containers but this one is super easy to simply squeeze out your desired amount. I should prefix this by saying that 95% of the time I love Soap Glory products which is probably why I was so surprised and saddened to not love this one. As a big fan of the Endless Glove cream I was excited to try this out but for me it didn’t live up to the hype (my hype, admittedly). I wasn’t very keen on the actual smell of the product itself, it’s not that it was a ‘bad’ smell, it was just… odd. It wasn’t a scent that I could pin down any particular direction; no obvious fragrance, or theme, not even desperately chemical – just enough that it made me want to go and wash my hands almost immediately after I finished applying. It did feel greasy during the application which wasn’t very nice but on a positive note I’m happy to report that once it has been absorbed into my skin my hands felt beautifully soft and supple.

I purchased the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish: Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk out of pure curiosity. After reviewing the products claims and benefits, I decided to try this product. I have dry skin and exfoliating helps my skin remain soft and less likely to dry out. I have used this product for exactly one month and the results are phenomenal! My skin is smooth, soft, and moisturized. The dry spots I usually have on my lower legs are gone and the dark areas on my elbows are fading. I have never written a review about any product before but I just HAD to write one for this. I have had kp bad on my arms and legs for as long as I can remember. I didn’t even know what it was til I started to realize that other people had smooth skin. I felt so insecure about people touching my skin and always thinking I was cold from goose bumps lol. But this product has changed that completely! I’ve been using 3x a week for over a month now and my skin has never been smoother. It literally did erase all the bumps on my arms and legs. I am so impressed and finally comfortable in my own skin. I recommend this product to anyone with kp or any sort of bumps. I also use very gently on my bikini area once a week to help with ingrown hairs from waxing. It had made all the difference in the world. I am so happy I finally found my solution! About a month ago, I bought this scrub, the matching lotion and the matching soothing pad wipes. I was skeptical but also desperately looking for a product that could relieve my constant very dry, non-shedding skin. I have never been one of those girls to shave their legs and after have legs that feel silky smooth. I always have rough patches, areas that constantly have ingrown hairs, specifically where my legs touch when I cross my legs (above my left knee and on the outside of my right calf), and my thighs all around, especially the bikini area. No matter what exfoliate I have used, moisturizers, oils, nothing has been able to losen the top layer of skin enough for healthy shedding. Until I found this line!!! I’ve been using it for about a month, the scrub every other day, the lotion daily, and the wipes as needed if I get a rash. Results are that my legs are finally feeling so much smoother after shaves, if I get razor burn, it goes away really quickly thanks to the wipes. The constant itchiness that I always have when my hair grows back is gone. My legs looks healthier and not so inflamed and blotchy. I still get ingrown hairs but their are very superficial and come out easily/clear up quickly. Before, the ingrown hairs would be really deep and stubborn. I’ve had moderate kp on my upper arms since I was about 10 years old (so 24 years now.) At this point I really don’t expect any product to be able to fully cure it, so my expectations are relatively low in that regard. That being said, I’ve now repurchased this a few times and plan on continuing to use it until I find something better. Like most kp scrubs, it doesn’t do much in the way of diminishing the redness or pigmentation of the dots, but it does a great job smoothing out the bumps and removing that layer of dead skin. I usually put it on in the shower, let it sit for a minute or two, and then scrub each side for about 30-60 seconds. Immediately after rinsing you can feel a difference— super smooth arms. It’s not the cheapest, and although it is easy to get carried away and use a ton of product I’ve found that a little really does go a long way if you’re deliberate about usage. (For reference: I have light to light-medium olive skin that sometimes burns initially but mostly just tans super easily. I tend towards having dry skin on my body, and don’t have sensitive skin overall.)jillian .s

I received the “L’Oreal Paris Pure Sugar Scrub Smooth & Glow” for free for test and review from Topbox Circle. At first glance, you don’t think anything of this scrub but wow, it totally blew me away with what it can really do. I liked how it’s encased in this tiny but heavy, glass jar. When you open it, the consistency looks quite thick and sticky looking but isn't sticky at all. The smell is amazing, like dark chocolate coffee syrup and I just wanted to eat it(but I didn't)! The application is pretty easy and you don’t need a whole lot. Make sure not to get it too close to your eyes as there are little granules in this scrub that could irritate your eyes. Immediately after applying, you’ll notice this amazing, warming sensation that spreads all over your face. The blend of sugars, coffee, oils felt so luscious against the skin. Use gentle circular motions around your face since the instructions say to use it on dry skin. If you do use it on damp skin or wet skin, it's not as effective because the sugar crystals would have dissolved leaving only the coffee grounds behind as an exfoliant. I'm glad that the blend of sweet almond and coconut oils help it be less abrasive. Rinses well with water revealing baby soft skin. My skin felt cleaner and smoother in just one use. It was perfectly fine for my sensitive skin. I’ve used this scrub, three times now and I love it so much! I had really rough textured skin between my eyebrows and now it feels so much smoother. I’ve used Loreal’s Pure Clay Face Masks in the past but I never stopped to try their scrubs. I’m going to have to check out their line of scrubs to see what else I can try. I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I’ve been using this face lip scrub for a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say that it’s a very interesting product. The first thing that hits you when you open this jar is the scent,… I mean, Holy Dark Roast, Batman!!! The coffee aroma is super strong and pungent, so if you’re not a fan of the smell of coffee, this isn’t for you… I personally enjoy the scent and found it to be a nice robust fragrance. This scrub also has a warming sensation as you apply it, so it’s ideal for a chilly winter morning wake-up call. As for the ingredients of the scrub itself, it’s mostly a mix of sugar and coffee grounds (don’t use a white washcloth to rinse this off, take it from me). The sugar granules were larger than I anticipated, which meant I had to be careful when massaging this scrub into my skin because it’s definitely on the rougher side of exfoliating products. After rinsing, my face looked radiant and smooth (albeit a little red LOL). I had the softest skin and felt ready to take on the day… However, I didn’t notice a real difference when using this scrub for my lips, so that was a tad disappointing… I think I’ll stick to using this for my face only. Overall, I enjoyed the scent and results of this scrub, but because it’s such an intense exfoliation I won’t find myself using it frequently… I also am disappointed that it’s advertised as a lip scrub as well, but didn’t actually prove to be effective for my lips. I dont drink coffee. But boy do I love the smell of it. And THIS SCRUB smells like fresh ground coffee! It really does. Its a pivk me up for sure. And the scrub itself is not too harsh and 100% leaves my skin better than before I used it. Its a little too liquidy when ypu use most of the scrub. You really gotta dig to the bottom to then pick up actually scrubbies. But its so worth it! I have to exfoliate my skin because it's very dry (face is oily). I also have keratosis pilaris so I use chemical exfoliating lotions, but also have to use some kind of scrub so that moisture absorbs properly. But, I'm very sensitive, so anything too harsh causes irritation. I was a little leary of this at first, but it's amazing stuff. It gently buffs skin and rinses away clean. It almost "suds" up a little like a foaming wash, but just enough to allow you to evenly spread it over any area you wish to exfoliate. And, no fragrance added. And, I was worried about water getting into the jar because I keep it in the shower, and open it while showering, but does n't seem to be a problem at all. I've tried many scubs and this is one of the best. The exfoliating particles are smaller in size, but still enough to do the job without turned skin red or irritating it.RMSM

I'm really happy with this one. I tried the Sandalwood, but the scent was overpowering and didn't wash off, but the exfoliating was really good. So I ordered the fragrance free, and it's great. It's not a harsh physical exfoliant, the charcoal and pumice sort of melt as you go. I did have a little trial and error working out how best to use it. I'd seen numerous things that said to put it on dry and work it around first, so the chemical exfoliant has time to work, but that gives this no slip on your skin, and means you end up wasting a ton to cover anything. And using it in the shower like a regular body wash rinses it away too quickly. What's worked for me is putting maybe a half tablespoon sized blob on a wet wash cloth, and working it all over before getting under the shower spray. Skin's really soft, and the KP on my arms has improved as long as I stick to using this once a week. The softness makes me want to use it more often, but that over exfoliates and the KP gets annoyed. :p My only real gripe with this now is the packaging. Having a twist off cap when your hands are covered with body wash or the exfoliator, or in the shower, is *really* awkward. They should have given it something you could open and close one-handed.jennspade
This is a nice, simple exfoliator for everyday use. You feel the physical exfoliation when rubbing it on your skin and I like the fact that there is a chemical exfoliation too when you lather/ rinse. It's very easy to use and I can see how this would suit a lot of people as an everyday exfoliator. The product doesn't have a scent, which I know a lot of people will love too. Personally, I like the awakening or relaxing effects of scents with body products so I would prefer one. However, I understand scent-free is one of the brand's USPs! Slightly disappointing that the tube is not recyclable, however I do appreciate the brand's transparency around this and outlined steps towards improving, as I know it can be tricky when you are a small brand.rachela702

Normally I love Tree Hut and I love pumpkin spice anything. The company's new Velvet Coffee scrub smells wonderful, but this Pumpkin Spice Latte scrub smells nothing like either pumpkin, spice, or latte. Our store had a big display and the tester only smelled like sugar and weird chemicals. Another one was exactly the same, so I didn't buy it. I love the way Tree Hut scrubs feel on my skin, and I use them regularly in my shower routine. I bought this scrub because I love fall scents, but it absolutely does not smell like pumpkin spice. It's a beautiful exfoliator which also moisturizes the skin at the same time. The packaging is sturdy and jar like which makes it easy to scoop it out. Now coming to the texture. It's exactly like the makeup remover balm by Plum but with a gritty texture. The fragrance is like sugar syrup. If you ever had ROSOGOLLA, the fragrance is exactly like the sugar syrup in which the rosogolla is dipped. So yes, it's damn sweet. I use it after a body wash and the sugar granules just melts into the skin. It leaves a moisturizing effect and i think people with normal skin may not need any added lotion. The fragrance stays for an hour at the max. Also you won't need a lot of product but just two scoops for your entire body. So it's gonna go a long way. One star minus for there is no vanilla fragrance. But the product is too good and it's an earnest request to Plum, kindly improve the fragrance. To say I was stoked when I received this product is an understatement! I have struggled with KP for years, specifically on my arms, and always tried to hide it. I have been using the FAB KP Bump Eraser for the past few years and have really enjoyed my results, however, I am always wanting to try new products that come onto the market for addressing KP. My favorite part of the Kopari scrub was how the granules weren’t overly harsh on my arms. I have sensitive skin and past scrubs that I’ve tested, while effective, could be pretty intense. This product was gifted by Kopari. I really like this scrub. If you’re suffering from KP, I highly recommend this! It’s a very thick scrub, almost like a paste with an extremely fine grit; it would be too much for sensitive skin. The formula uses AHA’s to chemically exfoliate skin while the gritty polish scrubs physically buffs skin. The highly gritty scrub makes an difference right away, but I’ve found this works best if you let the formula sit on the skin for a few minutes and then scrub. This has helped immensely with the KP on the backs on my arms and has helped with the little ingrowns I tend to get near my armpits from shaving and waxing. It’s expensive but this one is legit. I’ve struggled with keratosis pilaris on my legs for a long time, and I think wearing leggings has made it worse over the years. I’ve tried many scrubs that haven’t really done a whole lot to change the appearance, so I was excited to try this scrub. I first noticed the smell, which is…not great. It is unscented which would be good for sensitive skin, but I would prefer a little bit of a scent. On efficacy, I didn’t really notice a big difference in the appearance of the bumps in the 4-5 times I used it. Maybe if you use it every day or for an extended period of time, it might be more noticeable. I do think my skin was a little softer right after using this scrub, but the bumps were still very visible. Just manage your expectations, no product is an instant miracle!embrg20
