This bike is one of the best investments we've made. It performs flawlessly and there is plenty of versatility whereas we no longer need a gym membership. The price point was perfect the membership price is certainly worth it. Therefore, I would highly recommend this piece of equipment in your gym. However, we bought Echelon shoes and just over 30 days later my Velcro broke. Since it was after 30 days later I could not return them. We had other dealings with customer service in the months just after buying the bike. The customer service leaves much to be desired as far as buying accessories from the company. They are a third-party and getting a hold of the corporate seems to be near impossible. I still gave the five star review simply because the equipment is outstanding. Just don't buy accessories from their store if you need to return them it is quite a process.
I absolutely LOVE this bike and the community that rides it. I bought my bike (Costco 4S) in February 2021 and today, (11/15/2022) I completed my 1000th workout. I have over 800 rides and almost 200 Fitpass classes completed. The variety of classes makes it possible for me to ride either a live or on-demand ride every day, whether I feel like riding 75 minutes or want to take it easy with a 20 minute low impact ride. The instructors are exceptional. While I have never met any of them personally, they project warmth and compassion, and make me, the rider feel like I am important to them. The feeling I get from them is that this is more than just a job, it is really their passion and they care about us, their riders. The variety of Facebook groups specific to Echelon are numerous and there is something for everyone. When I had an issue with the attached tablet not allowing me to log in, I sent a Facebook message to Echelon and within 5 minutes I had a message back with instructions how to reset the tablet. Ok people this is not a shirt you can stuff back in the bag and return to QVC. The thing took my husband 2 hours to put together and it weighs a ton. So here are the details to assist. Full disclosure I'm a 5'4 fat lady (working on changing the fat part, hence the bike.) So I had been using the x-bike and wanted to level up for a sturdy bike that I could do standing cycle jogging out of the saddle. I'd been using the fancy bike app with my x-bike so and didn't want to spend the extra on a bike with the attached monitor. Like I need another screen in my house??? I like using the bike with my Ipad so I can take any class, you tube, peloton app or just netflix and spin so this seemed to be the ticket. Ok so here's the downfalls: 1- THE SEAT IS A TORTURE DEVICE- this was just not doable for me or my 14 year old son who validated my concern. So no problem, did some research and ordered a new bike seat on amazon, spent an hour or so learning how to change on youtube now comfy seat- check. 2- Configuration IS A SQUEEZE- ok so if you move the HANDLEBARS up they also move outwards from the body, assuming that all riders are super tall that want high handles, they say to raise them high if you are pregnant have back pain or are a beginner, so you better be tall too. Of course, you can move the seat forward to match but then wait my knees are in a funny position, and oh how do I get off this thing? The brake is right on my who-ha while I try to shimee out of this thing. So now I just find myself riding too far up and back to avoid knee pain or who-ha dismount, so feel like I'm bracing for dear life to get to those handle bars way forward. 3. The setting to move up the seat are not very clear and make it difficult to find the right spot again if someone else uses the bike. Wind-up! So with all this you wonder why I still have it. Well, it's a nice bike, I spent about $1000 bucks time and energy getting it set up, and I'm assuming that as I get thin these issues will subside. So my overall review is short fat ladies try before you buy, because no way in heck your getting this thing in a box again.MsMyka

I was SO excited to get this bike. I researched. Well, what I receieved for my whopping $209.00 was a cheap adapter. For what? I dont know. There is nothing on the adapter to even say what it is for. What I do know? A bike that should hold a 380lb person didn't fit in my mailbox. I reached out. No response. I applied for a refund online and have to send "it" back. I read all the reviews, watched all the comparison videos and finally selected the Bowflex C6 as my indoor exercise option. Price point and freedom of choice of apps were the primary points in my selection. The bike is very quiet, has been quite sturdy and I've enjoyed using it. I struggled a LOT with the JRNY app initially, running on a PIxel Slate (a ChromeOS device that runs Android apps) and that was pretty much a disaster. It crashed frequently and many options just didn't work. But then, I tried a real Android tablet and the app works great. I actually enjoy it. I tried a couple others and will do more, but the JRNY app is good if you have a device it runs on. So far I haven't had any problems with pedals coming loose as some have. I do find the water bottle placement is unfortunate as I either hit it during hard rides or feel like I will – neither of which are good. So, I generally leave my water bottle on a nearby table that I an reach. Small gripe, but also easy to fix if the company wanted to. Easy to put together, although the instructions were a little to terse – I spent a while looking for the needed bolts in one step before realizing they were already screwed into their spots in the bike (to be removed before reattaching with the needed accessory). Again, it's a small gripe, but also easy to fix. Overall I've been quite happy.
I usually don't bother with reviews but wanted to do one here since there's so little info to be found on the C7 (loads on the C6 though!). I bought this bike to use as a peleton alternative with the peleton app. The bike is a great bike. I've ridden outdoor bikes a lot (road and mountain) but never really went to the indoor bikes until this. I have been pleasantly surprised. The seat is actually very comfortable, especially with bike shorts. If you're not used to sitting on a bike seat then of course it'll feel weird, but you let butt gets used to it. This thing is super quiet and easy to use, easy to adjust resistance, easy to connect Bluetooth. It's a little difficult at first rising with the peleton app because of trying to figure out resistance levels. Even the 'conversion charts' online don't feel like they're accurate. My only real complaints about it is the water bottle holder should be set further back to avoid hitting your knees on it (there's lots of complaints about this with the c6, which is basically the same bike without the console). The screen is quite small to use as your entertainment or spin class but it's perfect for using as manual mode for the metrics during a peleton class (which I watch on my tv).KC
I ordered the Bowflex ultimately because it was a more affordable product than the Peloton bike, but could sync with the app on my phone. While there are many other alternatives, so many of them also come with their own software, and I wanted to keep sharing the app with my sister and stick with the instructors I know, so I appreciated that there's a tech stand but no required/automatic app. When riding, I can see my cadence on the Peloton app which is great because it's a little harder to read on the bike display screen. It'd be fabulous if I could track resistance on the app too. (If you're a Peloton user – or aspiring user – too but considering buying the Bowflex machine – an Apple Watch will track your heartrate while you ride and sync with the Peloton app to give you an output in the Peloton app. I jussst switched to Fitbit, which does not sync with the Peloton app. :-/) I set the bike up myself! It was straightforward, I'd say, and it didn't take long, considering. It maybe took me 45-50 minutes (including the time I spent finding tools I hid under other pieces, ha). I find that the bike is sturdy; it doesn't wiggle and wobble while I ride. It's quiet too! Except for the exasperated sighs I make while on it, it doesn't make any sound. It's been over a month that i own this bike. I love doing indoor cycling and i never imagined i would own one. I loved the price and decided to purchased one specially with this pandemic that we can't risk on going out and plus having 3 kids at home. Great bike! Easy resistance controls, works well, has a water bottle holder which is practical. Seat gets uncomfortable after some time on it so I cushion it with a blanket. It's very loud with higher resistance. But still definitely worth it. LEFT PEDAL = LEFT TURN TO ATTACH Seller answered my question promptly–the measurement is not metric–t is MPH and miles clocked. The left pedal threads are opposite (LEFT) to attach. DUH!! When I was 5 years old my Daddy taught me "Leftie Loosie–Rightie Tightie". That should have been in the instructions with a graphic. Not all of us 69YO Grannies are mechanics and engineers. This my first time owning a stationary bicycle and I could not be more pleased with it. Assembling it was very easy, it comes with two tools, an open wrench and a hex key wrench, that's all you need. Super sturdy and very well made. The box that it came in, I was able to fit in the back seat of my Honda accord and I was able to carry it up to the the 3rd floor apt, via the stairs with no problem. It weighs approx 45-50 Lbs. but the straps (two) that hold the box together make great handles and it easy to carry it. So far I'm loving it. Oh one more thing, the picture doesn't show it but it comes with a back support pad plus rear handles and a pair of resistance bands with handles right below the handle bars. You can really get a good cardio workout. I would definitely recommend it to any one looking for an affordable and solid stationary bicycle.BobC

I had gotten really into spin workouts at my local gym, but found it difficult to get there sometimes day to day. So, I started researching spin bikes that could work in my home. I was on a budget so was definitely trying to keep my purchase below $600. After a lot of research, including trying some bikes in shops, I landed on this one and I am very pleased so far. It's super easy to set up, is very quiet and sturdy, and has met all of my expectations and needs. I only bought this bike last week, but I love it so far! I researched for months on different sites and different products. I was hoping for the iC4, but it's out of stock everywhere. This one was in stock and available to pickup. All the issues I've read about seem to be related to mishandling during shipping. I followed all assembly instructions, especially pedal installation, making sure they were threaded on straight and then tightened with the wrench. The bike is super quiet. I've preemptively bought some silicone lubricant for the wheel and brake pad after reading about noise. I watched some videos on maintenance and it's super easy to care for. I think a lot of issues come up because people think you don't have to take care of expensive equipment. The seat is a traditional racing seat, so it's uncomfortable if you have a big butt like me, but I bought a padded cover and it makes it more bearable. I'm 5'9" and heavy and the bike is big and sturdy enough. I'm not sure how accurate the display numbers are, but I'm also not such a serious rider that I need the most accurate stats; I just want a good cardio workout and hopefully drop some pounds. I bought this bike ~9 months ago, to replace a cheap one that, while it looked like this Schwinn on the outside, had a resistance mechanism that just didn't work. What a relief it was to get on this IC3! I've been riding ~6X a week & it's still working well. My favorite feature (besides the fact that the resistor/brake function works) is the horizontal adjustment feature for the handlebars. If I can't adjust the handlebars both vertically & horizontally, my hands fall asleep while riding. No worries for that issue with this bike. As several reviewers have noted, the "computer" is pretty awful. The timer works (mine loses about a tenth of a second per minute, but that's not a big deal) and the rpm meter, when you can see it (seems like it's always on mph when I glance down) is accurate. The calorie count is a flat 13 calories per minute, no matter how fast or slowly you go, so that's not even vaguely right. The unit rarely picks up my pulse transmitter, but when it does it's laughably inaccurate, to the tune of 50bpm high or low. I don't know if the distance is accurate, because I totally don't care about that. It should be, but given that this unit was clearly programmed by people who don't bike, I wouldn't bet on it. On the other hand – see those down-facing brackets at the top? If the top one disappears, you're going under 60bpm. That could mean that you have so much resistance on that you're going to blow out your knees, so that's a handy signal to have. Despite my grumping about the monitor, this is a really great bike. All most of us need from a monitor is to know how long we've been pedaling & enough bpm info to make sure we're in a knee-safe range. And this monitor does that just fine. Purchased the bike on 1/18/21 so just had t for 1 month and today (2/24/21), while using it, the belt from the crank to the flywheel popped off the crank. I had to take ~10 screws to remove the belt cover and realign. I notice the crank pull is a bad design and done not allow the belt to self align or force the belt in the grooves. All this could of been prevented only if the designers would of added a higher wall on the pulley to keep the belt in place. Other than this, the bike was great.trung

The digital display needs a backlight, hard to make anything out. The provided tools are cumbersome to work with, ended up using my own. Amazing experience with this purchase and Sunny Health Fitness. We knew our options for exercising would be limited as COVID-19 began to spread. We are both disabled and being able to exercise is vital to both our mental and physical health. We have a small living space and did not think we could squeeze a treadmill into it; and the cost was quite prohibitive. We looked at the different stationary bikes for some time before ultimately going with this one. I wasn't worried with 'riding w/others' & didn't find a reason to have the specific shoes especially since it's 2 of us. It's quiet & the dial for resistance is smooth. Handlebars are positioned well comfortable. Seat could be a little cushier, there's a possibility to replace that part. Also, no need for a monthly subscription, which apparently you need for others to work. Overall, I am very happy with this bike & would recommend for those who are self motivated & can either watch regular tele or pull up a workout on Amazon Prime. This is an awesome bike!! It was easy to set up (I did it by myself; 57 y.o. female), silent operation (great for apartment dwellers), very well made, and exceptionally sturdy, the wheels and the somewhat compact design make it easy to store away, the electronics are user friendly. I ordered the comfort seat because I don't have much padding on my bum. I wear a chest strap and, the armband monitor that's included works very well. Being able to charge your phone while riding is an unexpected bonus! I love the SPD clips on the pedals with the option to use the basket! I cannot think of any negatives…really! The JRNY membership is a nice bonus. I open it on my phone and mirror the screen to my TV. No need for a tablet! If you do some research, you will find that most of the screens that come with spin bikes are not very good and don't last long. When I am doing the virtual journeys, you can actually feel the bumps in the road…crazy fun! The 3 lb dumbbells are another nice bonus! I honestly, couldn't be happier. I bought this bike from Dick's about six months ago. I use it almost every day and am quite happy with it after a few additions and modifications. First, the few negatives: I modified the water bottle holder so that it is more forward to avoid hitting the bottle when standing. I swapped the pedals that came with the bike for SPD pedals which work with my mountain bike shoes. I didn't find the JRNY app to be useful. The bike display is OK except for the cadence/RPM display. I have no idea why they use that bar rather than displaying a number. I use zwift and the bike pairs with zwift nicely and displays cadence in the zwift app along with heart rate and power. I'm not certain how the bike reports power and there's some evidence that it overstates power. I don't race on zwift and only do workouts and group rides so I'm not really too concerned about having accurate power numbers. Here are the good points: The bike is very stable and comfortable. It has lots of adjustability to fit the rider. The saddle is remarkably good for a stationary bike. The magnetic resistance is great and very responsive. The bike is absolutely silent and very smooth. The bike is a very good value for the price. It's not quite a full smart bike because it doesn't adjust resistance automatically based on changes in terrain when using an app like zwift. I don't downgrade it for that because it doesn't claim to do that. I knocked off 1 star based on the water bottle holder position and the cadence display. (I would rate it 4.5 if I had that option). This bike is made by NordikTrack and is branded as Schwinn IC4 and an almost identical Bowflex C7 which only slightly differs cosmetically. NordikTrack could easily fix those two issues. Several users reported problems with the pedals included with the bike. I didn't use them as I swapped them for the SPD when I first started using the bike.man with dog

I assembled it by myself with no problems. The parts fit and lined up well. It is a sturdy bike, it doesn't flex or bend under my weight (203 pounds). The pedaling action is smooth and very quiet. What a wonderful exercise option! Not real easy to assemble, took 1.5 hours. Seat is very comfy for my big behind. My legs are short so I am looking for an idea to make the pedals thicker. This exercise bike is in every way perfect to get enjoyable workouts. It is compact by just removing a pin and pushing it into the 2nd hole so that nothing flops around when you move it on the wheels on the front. The wheels don't touch the ground until you tilt the bike so it is steady when you are riding it with all 4 round rubber pads on the ground. The quiet noise level when working out is the most enjoyable experience as I can watch movies (old Maverick cowboy movies) with the sound not turned up. The peddling motion is really smooth and the readings are easy to read and I can keep my pulse rate right where I want it to be. It takes up very little space when stored up right and is easily moved and fairly light. It takes a 270 lbs man riding easily with no problem. The cost was lower than expected for this quality of a bike. The seat is adjustable for 5' 1" to 5' 7" or 5' 7" to 6' 2". My son in law is 6' 2" at 270 lbs and it works perfect for him. However, this adjustment is not quick as you have to unscrew 3 screws. The work load is also very easy to change with small incremental increases while you are peddling.Donald

The bike works great, but unfortunately it is too large for me. I wish there had of been something in the details regarding height range. I am only 5'2" and when I sit on the seat with it in the lowest position, I am still hardly able to push the pedals all the way around. I also wish there was further range in adjustment of the handle bars; I need to push them closer. The bike is clearly designed for someone who is at least 5'5".

If you're under 5'5" don't get the bike. I am 5'2" and have to stand on the balls of my feet at the lowest setting and even then I'm barely reaching. The seat is highly uncomfortable. Its basically metal with a thin fabric covering, zero padding. The arm rests have a no slip grip surface, but once again metal with zero padding. I am a little concerned about the ratio of base width vs bike height. It feels a little wobbly when I try to go fast, so I do feel like I have to take more care about not swaying the bike a lot while on a fast pedal. Personally I want to return it on the comfort alone. If it isn't comfortable I don't see myself using it. It does come with wheels that you can tilt the bike on to move it around, but the bike is very heavy. While you can move it and the wheels do help, I wouldn't plan on having it move it much. I was really lucky that I didn't lose parts. The package that the spare parts came in was opened and loose in the box. The box itself had multiple large holes in it that those little pieces could have fallen through, but that's probably more of an issue with the shipping service.brittany

So I researched upright stationary bikes. This one came up as one of the good ones. Things I like are the weight limit worked for me, Sturdy even if I get moving fast, quiet, and has some pre-programmed settings. The one thing that could be worked on is learning how to use the program settings and all the bike does. I had to google youtube and watch people's videos to understand the settings. I did order a seat thinking it was a bigger seat for the bike and it was the same size. In the description, I assumed it was an upgraded seat . I will keep it though because if there is one thing I think will break down it will be the seat, as I am not a small person.Exercise wont kill me

Ive had this bike for about 6 weeks now and this is exactly that. It's well built, comfortable, easy to use, compact, light and easy to move around, and affordable. If you are looking for a spinning style bike with a weighted fly-wheel (ie Pelaton), this is not it. If you need live instructors or virtual rides on a large built-in screen, this is not it (although this does connect with the Explore the World app that syncs with the machine and you can do virtual rides on your phone or tablet). If you are looking to spend a lot of money for the bike and additional monthly fees for the live workout subscriptions, this is not it. This is just a great, simple exercise bike at a great price. Also, it is easy to put together. All the tools are included and it takes about 30-60 minutes depending upon your skill level. Several people have posted Youtube videos of how to assemble it which made it even easier. At the time I bought it Target had it on sale and with the red card discount it was the best price. I am so so happy with this bike. I am 75 and put the bike together by myself in about an hour. Directions are really clear; take your time and enjoy the process of putting it together. Bike is so quiet and very smooth ride. Love the scanner that includes heart rate, miles, calories, time peddling. The bike is really sturdy and fits in an 18 inch square space when closed. Very easy to close and open. Yes, pull the pin to open and close the bike……there are two holes that line up for open and close position. The seat is also really comfortable. If you are trying to decide whether to buy or not, I recommend you buy it. It is really worth every penny and your body will thank you for helping it stay healthy.woffette
In response to P65 for consumers . . .it's a warning label such as don't use a curling iron while in the tub, or consume paint chips. "Should I worry about Prop 65? Probably not. The Prop 65 label is like a noisy alarm that rings equally loudly about smaller amounts of low-risk substances and huge amounts of potentially harmful chemicals. The labels don't say how much of the chemical is present, or how much it would really take to make a person sick." And one key word is "might"! Most items should probably have this label on it! All the toxins we purchase is outrageous-but unless you are licking, consuming, or eating the paint chips, etc. the worries should be labeled but it's safe to use. I bought this bike after I waited too long to buy the recumbent bike and it sold out. I didn’t want the traditional style bike because I felt my caboose was too large for it and the bike seat would be uncomfortable. This model was also on sale with free shipping and against my better judgement I purchased it for $129 pretax and no shipping. I am incredibly glad that I did. This was quick & simple to put together. Anyone could put this together! The directions are easy to read and specific, and there aren’t a lot of parts to decipher what is what or where it goes. The hardest thing for me was deciding what level to choose for the seat (which turns out to be generously sized and comfortable)! It’s compact and light enough to easily move and I’m amazed at how quiet it is! I am 49, 5’1” and my weight was up to 215# when I bought this. There are 8 tension levels on this lil home bike. I started at level 1 for 5 minutes at the beginning of January. It’s now the middle of February and I’m at level 4 and I ride for 45 minutes a day or longer. I’ve lost 20 pounds and 15 inches of fat so far. In the end, I’m glad I had to get this style bike because I don’t feel that I would have worked as hard if I had or had as many moving body parts if I had purchased the recumbent bike. The digital screen is easy to read and use. I hope this lil guy goes many more miles with me and I highly recommend this bike to anyone who wants to exercise and doesn’t want a large piece of equipment or a large price tag. Knowing what I do about this bike, I would willingly pay regular price for it.

It's not the sexiest trainer out there, but its functionality is terrific. Below are my thoughts. Positives: 1. This bike is rock solid. I have never felt uncomfortable when sprinting; it barely moves. 2. I like that it has both the Ipad holder and Iphone holder. I plug in both devices and have my iPhone display the gear ratio of the bike. 3. Gear ratios: you can simulate just about any gear ratio, and it's great. I matched mine to my road bike and have improved my performance noticeably. 4. Stages Iphone App: okay, but not great. It does the job. I had problems setting mine up but IT was responsive. Reset the power meters before every ride and display the "gears" to get the best experience. 5. Connecting the bike to Rouvy is simple and works immediately, every time. Some mild complaints: 1. The saddle clamp has to be tightened as tight as possible for it to not rotate forward or back. I tightened at first to the torque listed in the instructions and stripped the very poor friction plate. Now I clamp it down as tight as possible and it works fine. 2. The gear-shift button locations aren't perfect. The buttons on the drops are awkwardly placed and without unwrapping the entire handlebar, you can't move them. The hood buttons are well-placed, but lack the tactile feel of the drop buttons. I got used to it soon enough, but would have liked this to be designed better. 3. The bottom bracket is wider than my road bike. I'm a narrow person, so this is probably a bigger deal for me than others, but it means I can't fully get my pedal position right between indoor and outdoor bikes. 4. Switching the handlebars from the high clamp to the low clamp is tedious. There had to be a better way to design it. That being said, once you get the fit dialed in, it's great. 5. The water bottle holders are just fine. I would have loved a place to put a power bar or two. With how big this bike is, having another place to put something would be welcomed. 6. Changing pedals is unnecessarily difficult due to the tight space between the frame and cranks. Do not lose the allen wrench that comes with the bike; you will need it and no, I can't find any other allen wrench that works.Chad G
The good and the bad: I love the platform for my phone and my iPad with charging available. The bike is very solid and easy to adjust. Pedaling is smooth and sort of road-like. The custom gearing is nice to have. The customer service/tech support people are excellent. They address concerns rapidly and work with you until the problem is solved. Unfortunately, in the 8 months I have owned this smart bike, I have had several opportunities to work with the dedicated tech support person when the bike is not working. I had problems with the cockpit, and he sent me a replacement for me to reinstall. I had a problem with the power assembly that took three weeks to solve over the phone and via email while having parts sent that I had to learn how to install. I've had problems every couple of months that occur for no apparent reason. I have been able to solve these problems on my own but I ended up missing workouts while I take the time to troubleshoot. I'm comparing the SB20 to a Wahoo Kickr, but there is absolutely no power smoothing. In ERG mode, if you try very hard to maintain exact cadence, it helps to smooth power readings, but it's still hard to stay in power ranges. The power readings vary widely. Like the Kickr, you need to use level mode for workouts with short sprints, but the Stages Bike requires level mode with 30 second sprints and surges because it takes 15-20 seconds to get to the power window. High cadence intervals are a challenge. If you don't maintain the high cadence after the interval and drop your cadence slowly (while your legs are trashed), the power will drop abruptly and then surge past your FTP power. It's less painful to drop cadence slowly. Maybe that has a good training effect, but it feels like you have to work to accommodate the power functions on this bike. Unless you have the Stages app open (I don't because I'm using SYSTM), there is no audible or haptic feedback when changing gears in level mode. I purchased this bike around the holidays because it was on sale for $2200, but would I do it again or would I shell out the extra money for the Neo or Kickr bike? I think I would spend the extra money to have a reliable indoor setup. Anyone want to buy a used SB20?Bradley P
The good: this is a nice build of bike hardware. It is solid, and you can really push on it. Plenty of adjustments. The bad: Stages has no business being anywhere near software. Even though you can theoretically set it up to have 50 gears, on Zwift it functionally has only two: 1) too easy and 2) impossible. Any other shift to any other gear makes no functional difference. So I bought this bike thinking it might make Zwift rides more realistic – that it would adjust to the conditions. It does…. like the bare minimum. Downhills are slightly easier. Uphills are slightly harder. I'm a software nerd by nature, so I have literally worked through every setting methodically, and I can't find anything that approaches a natural feeling. When you are climbing a hill, again, it's either way too easy of a gear with a high cadence, or you shift up and you almost have to stand to push the pedal down. Also, connecting EVERY SINGLE TIME on the start up Zwift screen is a debacle. I have to connect it incorrectly to the whole bike for the Power Source so it picks up the Controllable portion, then disconnect the whole bike and reconnect the power source just to one of the pedals per the "correct" Zwift settings. Maybe this is Zwift's fault – I don't know. I just know it's a horrible experience and no one is helping…. Case in point, their support department literally took months to respond to me, then closed the ticket on me when I didn't respond in a few days. No one answers the phone. I'm not sure that anyone cares at Stages. Don't make my mistake – simply don't buy this thing in the first place.Zac H

The family has been using this bike for the last two years. It is a great starting point for someone that wants to improve their cardio health. We have had a couple of issues, had to purchase two sets of peddles to replace the ones that came with the bike. we also have broken the resistance knob assembly 4 times and have paid for replacements. (the screw that applies pressure to the resistance foot has stripped because it is made from cheap metal) We really beat this unit for all its worth. I being 6'1 220lbs finds the seat needs to come up a bit to get the full stroke from the peddles. The handle bars also need to come up another 2 inches for taller people. But for the money, this cant be beat for a starter bike.Dirk
