Good bang for your buck. If you buy the economy size it’s one of the cheapest per oz. at Sephora. I use it on days when I won’t be outside a lot or getting a lot of sun exposure, usually in the fall or winter. It’s really light so even with my normal skin I feel like I need a different layer of moisturizer underneath. It has a nice, light woodsy scent though I’m trying to go fragrance free. After switching from Clinique’s “even better” SPF20 moisturizer I am thoroughly impressed, and at nearly half the price (@Ulta for $28.00 vs $50.00) Jack Black is on point. This SPF20 cream comes out white and is thin, it absorbs very quickly but you only need 1 full pump to cover the face, another 1/2 pump for neck jawline. Non greasy and non-comedogenic the natural feeling formula has a subtle sage fragrance and uses natural organic products. This product is marketed for men. However, I would recommend this double duty moisturizer to girls guys whom desire an affordable higher quality SPF moisturizer (which is SUPER important to have wear daily, the sun is a war-zone on your skin!) many moisturizers do not contain SPF be sure to get one that does if you don’t normally wear sunscreen. Product is marketed as an “advanced facial treatment” I do not see a noticeable change in skin pigmentation so this is a great product for people with sensitive skin (which I have). Texture of skin is smoother once the formula is fully absorbed. I received a 10ml sample size in a GWP and was saving up trying it for when my skin was feeling dry, dehydrated and oily all at the same time to really put it to the test. I find that in the office the combination of commuting and air conditioning leaves my skin all over the place but I’ve used this cream a couple of times and I did notice that my skin felt much more at ease throughout the day. I’ve used several higher end creams and this is up there with one of the nicest. Lovely texture, absorbs easily and provides a great surface for make up. I like this product, but my bank account hates it. LOL! As with all Sisley products, they are quite pricey but they are also quite nice. The Sisley Baumee-en Eau a la Rose Noire is a beautiful night cream. I say it is a night cream because it is quite thick, not uncomfortably so, but I just wouldn’t want to wear it under my makeup. However, I have combo skin so if you have dry skin then it may work. The scent is very luxurious, not intense perfume but natural. I am in my 40’s and have been fighting adult hormonal (premenopausal) acne and it doesn’t break me out (except the one time I did try it under makeup…it was just too heavy). There are a lot of less expensive creams out there, but if your wallet can take the hit and you want that luxury experience, Sisley is quite nice.kara.h

I am in love with this cream, I don’t want my sample tube to come to an end! 10ml has lasted me a couple of months so a little goes a long way, which might be how I justify the price to myself if I take the plunge to purchase a full size. The texture is very lightweight, velvety on the skin and absorbs very quickly – no greasy residue at all. I think it’s perfect for summer and I’ve had no issues layering with SPF and make up. This is my favorite moisturizer and I have been using it exclusively for quite a while now. Tried many others from the low end to the high end. I'm glad I found something so I don't have to spend my time looking any more. Light, non-sticky feel, not visible after application. Consistency is between gel and lotion, not watery but not thick either. And ultimately it is oil-free, so no increased chance of breakouts, no shine. Highly recommended.Mark

I have oily and acne prone skin.. I use curology (highly recommend) and drunk elephant vitamin C serum. For a few good months I had really bad hormonal acne and thanks to the two products above my skin cleared up and my scars are close to gone. I didn't have a moisturizer so I tried this one because a lot of people like this brand. I DO NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT AT ALL AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. It dried out my face, my eyelids are flaking, and I am breaking out again! I know its this product because I haven't used anything else that I haven't used before. The moisturizer gets really sticky when you put it on and leaves your face and hands really sticky, and dries quickly but it doesn't leave your skin feeling smooth at all. I have combination skin that's very sensitive and reactive. I seriously dislike anything heavy and oily on my face, which is how my Clinique moisturizer was making me feel. I decided to take the plunge and make a switch to something new after using Clinique for several years. When I first applied this, I thought I had found the perfect replacement; no burning sensation on my sensitive skin, no fragrance, not oily at all, and it actually did a decent job of moisturizing my skin. As the days went on, my skin started to react more and more. I have been using this for about four days now, and my skin is not happy. I've only used it for 2 days and I missed last night and used it this morning and the other day in the evening before I went to sleep for the first time. I'm also using Fenty Skin products and this I must say, is awesome!!! I want to buy the actually product. The only issue is my oily skin but like I said in another review, it is gladly working out for my acne-prone and oily skin. There is so much smoothness and brightness I must say because of this product in conjunction to Fenty Skin Pre-Show Glow (for my face of course) and Cocoa Cleans'r All-Over Soothing Bar concerning my face (even though I use the bar for my body too). Since I deal with hyperpigmentation and dullness, Vitamin C is the most important ingredient in my morning skincare routine. The fact that I can get an extra boost of it (at an 8.5% concentration) in my moisturizer now is very appealing! Upon first opening the sturdy, frosted glass jar, what stood out to me was the delicious citrus scent. I've grown to love it even more with repeated use because it makes me feel more awake and energized. It also comes with a spatula so I'm not constantly contaminating the remaining product with my fingers. I would describe the moisturizer's consistency as a gel-cream hybrid. It is hydrating without being heavy or greasy and provides a semi-matte finish. It doesn't take long to fully absorb and doesn't leave a sticky film on the skin like other Vitamin C products I've tried. There has been no pilling under sunscreen and makeup. Every time after use, my skin feels softer and smoother. After two weeks, my complexion looks more luminous, like I have that lit from within glow. I've been using my new Laneige Radian-C Cream for a couple of months and not only do I enjoy using it, but I've noticed a definite improvement with brightness and uneven pigmentation of my skin. It contains ASCORBIC ACID (#2 on the ingredient list) and CITRIC ACID without containing some of the questionable preservatives that I've seen in other vitamin C products. It contains GLYCERINE (a Humectant) and PROPANEDIOL (a Moisturizer) so my skin feels soft and hydrated. It contains CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE (an Antioxidant). It has a wonderful, light citrus smell that is not overwhelming but always invigorates me in the morning. It is priced as a luxury brand, but it's not exorbitant and it lasts quite long and hasn't shown any signs of oxidation. The texture is amazing and feels heavenly, it's like a whipped cream. And is quite heavy (in a good way). But unfortunately, it irritated the sensitive parts of my face, but then again my skin is pretty reactive. Maybe I used too much? (I used two pea sizes.) I love this moisturizer! I came across it on a YouTube video while looking for hydrating moisturizers. I have combination skin and my skin feels so hydrated after using this. It’s important to note that I pair this with the Laniege hyaluronic revitalizing toner which is also very hydrating. I also use an exfoliating cleanser, Paula’s Choice vitamin C serum and Innisfree sunscreen during the day. I use the moisturizer at night as well with other products. Love the combo! Bought Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfect Cream with the serum. Both on £10 Tuesday offer. There isn’t any cream that suit me or doesn’t give me pimples apart from Olay. I’m Olay user the 7 total effects day and night cream as they are the only I’m happy to spend that much money on a cream. I came from Philippines where Olay makes a whitening formula but couldn’t get it here in UK as Olay cater to tanning effect rather than whitening. I got this 2 days ago. I’ve used it twice. On a clean dry face and if I touch my face it just rolls off. So if it rolls off, and doesn’t absorb, then what benefit is my face getting from it? I bought another olay product in in a pump bottle and my skin was just as dry as before I used it. I’m so disappointed. Olay used to be a wonderful product that gave good results. I love this cream, it's light but very hydrating. It sinks in beautifully and leaves your skin plump and feeling amazing. I had always thought the richer the better with a cream and then wondered why I would get blocked pores. I have oily skin and this is perfect, even now going into winter. My skin has completely transformed since I went for a facial at a Sturm spa and they recommended products to me and told me to lay off the acids. They are honestly the first products I have ever tried that deliver amazing results, I am a total convert. I use this, the hyaluronic serum, the night serum and the enzyme wash. I have been using Dr. Sturm’s original eye cream for over a year, and love the lightweight texture and pure formula that never has caused problems for my very my sensitive eyes. With this new anti-aging Sturm eye cream, I wanted the assurance of having a non – reactive cream that also delivered more benefits for my dark circles and puffiness. The new cream is just as non – stinging, is just as gentle to the eyes as DrSturm’s original. It is not as lightweight, but is quickly absorbed and feels as refreshing as the original. After a month of use, I think my dark circles and puffiness are somewhat better, my upper lids look a little lifted (if I’m not too tired). The biggest difference is that my fine ( and not so fine) lines have benefitted greatly from the extra hydration. There is a smoothness that makes concealer application much easier. I know there is no such thing as a magic eye cream. Dr Sturm delivered on her promise of having anti-aging properties in a formula that did not inflame the very sensitive tissue around my eyes. I used an entire jar of this over a 6 month period and was disappointed and I can't recommend it: Cons: – Does not actually treat or prevent dark circles. Instead the cream has a light reflecting quality that works as a very temporary improvement in dark circles (like as in slightly less dark for about 30 minutes). – No improvement in my 35 year old fine lines around the eye area. – Not moisturizing enough. – Product did not seem to last throughout the day. – Tended to clog the pores in the under eye area. – Price is too high for lack of performance. Pros: – Pretty container – Lasted 6 months – Did not sting my eyes Instead of buying this product again I have switched to using my retinal around the under eye and layering with Susanne Kaufmann eye cream (only $50). I received this sample of Jack Black Beard Lube from Sephora and gave it to my Dad to try out. I'd like to preface this review by stating that my Dad is very much set in his ways and particular about his shaving regimen. For 40 years, he's used the same shaving cream. About 12 years ago (thanks to me), he added a balm that he uses after shaving with his cream to achieve an even closer shave, when necessary – generally, whenever his blade is on its 3rd or 4th use. He shaves his entire beard and sideburns – maintains a full mustache. He shaves daily and is not prone to irritation. Big Pro: He was impressed that the Beard Lube eliminated the need to use the balm to achieve a closer shave; his blade was on its 4th use and the Lube still gave him the perfect shave. He also appreciated how well the Lube softened his coarser hairs pre-shave. Cons: (1) He said it felt greasy upon application – his face did not have the 'clean' feel that his shave cream provides. (2) The Lube left his face oily post shave, so much so that he felt the need to remove excess oils with a warm cloth. This Lube contains oils for conditioning so that makes sense – but oil on the face is not something my Dad is used to and he did not like it at all. He also felt the need to use his regular Balm to give his face the after-shave feel he likes (I guess that fresh tingly sensation scent). (3) The translucency of the Lube made it difficult to see what areas of the face had already been shaven (funny because the translucency is supposed to help you see where you are shaving to avoid mishaps – but he didn't see it that way). Overall, he very much enjoyed the result of the close shave and would purchase the travel size to use while on vacation because it eliminates the need of second shave with his balm (less to pack / carry). He also said it would be handy while on-the-go to take care of a 5 o'clock shadow if there was an event after work. He also likes that he can get longer use out of his blades without sacrificing a close shave or risking potential nics due to a dulling blade — which would save money. For daily shaving, he intends to stick with his 2-step cream balm regimen but he would highly recommend the Beard Lube to men with sensitive skin that becomes irritated from razor shaving. I love Jack Black products and use way to many of them! I saw someone else mention travel sizes and you responded that there is a 3oz tube. I travel almost every week for 1 to 2 nights and I am carry on only. This means that I am limited to one ziploc bag so fitting all the JB products I use, plus the rest, even in a 3oz size is simply not possible. I also try to reduce my plastic usage wherever possible, so while I kind of live off the samples (and often time orders to so I can get larger samples of things I use anyway, I hate doing that. Ideally you would have smaller, refillable containers that could be used for a variety of different products. I would actually pay good money for that. I've tried using old contact lens cases but that's not ideal because I think too much air gets in and the product degrades.Joshua

Excellent product! Great body lotion part of my daily routine. I usually lather it in after a shower. The lotion absorbs to the skin fast and ideal for moisturizing my skin. It does a better job than others probably because of the ingredients with eucalyptus and aloe. The lotion leaves my skin feeling soft smooth and nourishing sensation. It's my go to body lotion compared to some of the others and I want to wear this lotion daily. What I dislike about it is the small amount 16oz.Jack

I love HaruHaru means "day by day" and there is nothing bad I have to say about this brand. Also before I say anything more can we talk about this packaging! Its like a little fidget I love holding it but it was made to replicate a rice bran! I love the ingredients I love the formulation. I adore how open this company is and how the source and how they are environment friendly because I absolutely appreciate that in a company! All of the products are recyclable and they use soy ink to print there packaging. I also adore that this company listens to their customers and want to better themselves and their company. The have very light fragrance in their fragranced products but they also offer fragrance free for those who don't like it. Let me tell you that I love all there products and their toner/essence and this essence are my favorite. Both of these have become samples in my morning and nightly routine since the January 2020. I love skincare and maybe a little obsessed and addicted to it. I am extremely interested in it and im an ingredient nerd so I definitely pay attention and make sure im looking so that im using the best products I can. For that they get a A+ but I haven't even spoken about the affordable price point this company offers. But first back to this essence. This is the first time I have actually been excited and not being able to wait to wash my face and do my routines. This essence feels so amazing and my skin soaks it up. I really mean it, it drinks it up and begs for more. Honestly! I can only explain this as kambucha for your face! I have normal/combo skin. My skin is hydrated and moisturized and I dont ever need to over compensate on my products and my sink always soaks up products nicely and that's that but when I use this my face feels incredibly hydrated plump and supple. My skin feels so amazing after I'm done with my routine, at the end of my day and when I wake up in the morning. I have found that my routine is so on point now that I have introduced HaruHaru wonder into my life that I only need to wash my face at night when I do my routine. I only wash my face once a day because my skin doesn't need it anymore (even though I want to use my products, I just don't need too). My skin is the best that it has ever ever ever been in my entire life. Im sure that I can continue gushing over this company and their products forever and days and days but I dont want to make this review boring. Basically I recommend this product to everyone and strangers even. I have gotten my family on it and they love it as much as I do. I have gotten internet friends on it and they continue to use it and thank me 2 years later. So if i can encourage you to buy anything I would encourage you to look into this brand. This cream is best for normal to oily skin and definitely not for sensitive. I feel deep hydration after using it but it is not enough for my dry spots ( I have combination skin). For my oily forehead is great, non greasy and quickly absorbing. Skin feels smooth. Minus one star becouse of it's scent – very very strong lavender scent. I have an unhealthy obsession with the Fresh brand! They use mostly great ingredients in their products which is a must for me. They also have such luxe packaging that it makes you feel like you are using really high quality skincare products. I love the whole Black Tea line at Fresh. The whole product line has the most amazing fresh smell. I received a small sample of this cream so I can't speak on long term results. After using it a few times as a night cream, it left my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. It's a very nice thick cream as well, too thick for me to use as a day cream as I have oily skin. However, it was wonderful as a night cream. Would definitely buy again!sheena.l

I love this product. I have mature, sensitive skin and I struggle to find any face cream that does not react to my skin. Usually the first container of product will be fine. After repurchasing a product, I start to notice redness and skin irritation. This is one of the few face creams that I have now finished a second jar of the product and there is no skin irritation. My skin is soft throughout the day. The product is light and smooth, not greasy at all and smells lovely. The tea scent is light and I love that it is not a floral scent. The texture of my skin has improved. I love how smooth it is and I believe there is a more even skin tone. The claim of firming I cannot confirm. I don’t notice that at all in my skin. However I would highly recommend this product. Honest review from a real person. Was on a business trip and ran out of my face lotion. Was looking for something travel size, moisturizing (without all the chemicals and fragrance) and not too expensive. I settled for this because it always promotes even skin tone. The product DID NOT moisturize my face at all. To the point where my sling felt dry and you couldn’t even see dry patches. Mind you, I don’t have dry skin. But it’s a little chilly out so I could use the extra moisture. But my goodness.Disappointed

I wanted to purchase a daily lotion to use under my makeup that would also treat my dark spots. I also wanted to purchase from a black-founded product line. Unfortunately, this lotion just doesn't feel like anything special. It's quite drying after application, my skin does not feel moisturized at all. The Lotion itself is also somewhat runny. Love Shea Moisture’s Even & Radiant Raw Honey Dark Spot Correcting Serum. I have acne prone skin that has left behind several dark marks on my face, and with my daily use of acne cleansers, my skin is often left dry and dull looking. However, after incorporating this serum within my daily skincare regimen, I have notice my skin is much smoother and vibrant looking, with some of the newer dark marks already visibly improving. Since using this product, I haven’t had any issues with it clogging my pores, or causing additional issues with my skin. Onto my 2nd jar. Such a nice texture, not a gel or cream as such. Sinks into skin incredibly quickly with no irritation. I have only ever felt minor tingling around my mouth/nose after tretinoin use had caused peeling and extreme sensitivity. But I believe this was more likely down to the application than the product itself. Really helps with calming down redness and evening skin tone. If you're very dry I would recommend applying this under a heavier moisturiser at night. No issues with day time use when SPF is applied on top. I would avoid using this during the same routine as any strong acids, due to the peptide content. Peptides perform best at a higher more neutral PH. Acids are of course much lower than our skins natural PH level. So to maximise effectiveness, keep this in mind. Also, a little goes a long way.iHerb Customer

Its consistency seemed a bit strange at first, slimy and thinner than standard creams. When applied it glides on the skin and at first I thought it would form a film on the skin and not absorb, but after 2 minutes the cream absorbed completely without leaving any greasy residue traces. My skin is mixed and after applying the cream it feels very good, hydrated, soft and fresh. It doesn't weigh it down in any way and it doesn't cause shine on the oilier areas in the T-zone. With long-term use, I liked the cream even more, for me it is one of the best I have used. I love this product, it isn't oily, gooey, or tacky feeling. It is slightly heavier but it means I don't have to use a lot on my skin. My skin in the winter is slightly drier and agitated and this does a good job locking the moisture in for the day. It gives me a soft glowy finish and even once fully absorbed, my skin feels softer, hydrated (no more patchy dry skin), and it just feels healthy. I would recommend for sensitive skin because I have pretty acne prone and winter time adds eczema patches, it doesn't flare up at all and best is that it does not cause a burning/itchy sensation when applied like most products for me.Ngoc Minh Le

I don’t know why this stuff is so good, but the results are astounding. This is not greasy whatsoever, and soaks in quickly. I have extremely dry skin. I have chosen to use this nightly only because of the price point. I use something different for mornings, but I would use the transformation cream more often if I could afford to! This face cream really does transform your face. I received a sample of the Bioglycolic cleanser and the Transformation cream at my local Massage Envy. After one use I noticed a difference. My skin needed some TLC after being diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) and undergoing 6 months of IV Chemo and 1 year of Chemo pills. My skin has never looked better in my entire life. I was having trouble with acne because, as I discovered later, my skin was too dry. I got a professional facial and the esthetician used this moisturizer on me. She gave me a sample to take home and said not to use it more than a couple times a week. I started using it daily and within about 5-7 days of consistent use, 90% of my acne was gone. I also changed my cleanser to something milder, which helped. I use .01% Retin A every night and this moisturizer helps a lot with the dryness. It’s not expensive either. I am a big fan of EltaMD products and have been really enjoying this Moisturizer. I purchased the one in the tube and I love how easy it is to get the product out and that it is more sanitary. I generally do not like skincare products in tubs so this is a great alternative to those containers. I apply an occlusive layer after my moisturizer to lock in moisture and find that my dry, irritated skin is much happier when I do. Previously, I used Vaseline which did the job but I find this to be even easier to apply. Definitely a great product to add to a skincare routine!Anonymous

Wonderful moisturizer!!! I am lucky to have received this as a #freeproduct complimentary from Caudalie via TopBox. It is especially great when paired with the Caudalie Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum. I saw great results after my first month of pairing the serum + moisturizer once daily. I found this moisturizer to be pretty thick – or at least a little goes a long way. I have dry skin so I need a lot of moisturization day and night. I did have one issue- my favorite mineral SPF does not get along with this product. This was recommended under "acne prone" skin, but I don't know why. It's extremely thick and comodeogenic. The ingredients are nice, and those with dry skin would probably love it. But my combination, acne prone skin doesn't respond well to this. It makes me breakout.Kay

Oh how I love this night cream. As for application: after cleansing with my stone crop cleanser, I spritz a little of the chamomile tonique or stone crop mist into my hands and then pat into my face. It's not as thick as the daytime version with SPF, so, it will spread a little easier. I "dot" the moisturizer in areas on my face, and then blend in. It feels sooooo good on my skin! Since I have only been using this product a short time, I'm not sure how long it'll take to see the 'brightening' difference. But, I can say that my skin has never been healthier using eminence skin care products!chiz

This cream is the only (so far) that's able to moisturize my skin without breaking me out and helping me keep my annoying hormonal acne at bay.
