I was very excited to get this product, as I love testing out high end beauty and TF is one brand that I am interested in exploring more. The packaging definitely reflects its luxury status and was a very nice surprise upon opening! While the quad is beautiful, I do want to note that these colors are not “my colors”. With my skin tone, eye color and hair color—I find eye makeup to be much more flattering when cool toned rather than warm like this Honeymoon shade. Speaking to the product itself, the colors are nicely pigmented and just as shimmery as they look. While I didn’t get to try out any other palette shades, upon first glance this one does seem to have a bit less variety in the shade/contrast between each of the shadows. For Honeymoon, the colors are gorgeous, however I struggled a little when trying to have a look with all of them, because when applied it is hard to discern the colors from each other. The top two shades are almost impossibly to distinguish when on the eye and the red toned shade is pretty but not deep enough to be brought out significantly against the warm champagne gold. Overall, I think this is a beautiful product and the quality is top notch, as the pigment is there and I experienced no fall out (which is always a struggle with shimmer shadows—brand aside). The only reason I have to take off a star is because of the versatility of the shade option I received. Given that quad palettes have a general purpose of consisting of shades that are worn together and/or can be layered, the Honeymoon Quad falls short as the shades are just too similar to achieve the same look that other TF options provide. That said, this is likely a concern limited to few shades and have nothing to do with quality itself! I am definitely interested in trying out quads that are more complimentary to my tones like mink mirage or noir fume, both of which seem to have more shade contrast as well. This is my first time using any Tom Ford products so I was happy to receive the Tiger Eye quad from a recent voxbox. This particular color story is a mix of warm golds and browns, mostly shimmery but with one matte dark brown included. The palette itself is gorgeous with metallic gold and dark brown accents. It feels heavy in the hand and comes with a little fabric pouch. The shadows themselves are soft and almost creamy. The shimmers were well pigmented but I found the dark brown a little chalky. It built up nicely. These applied ok with a finger, but I found the two gold shades were very similar on the eye. It also comes with two small sponge brushes that I did not use. I personally wouldn?t shell out almost $90 for this palette, but if you love shimmers, this might be a good fit for youRana
[This review is about Double Indemnity Quad I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I thought that after Virgin Orchid I wouldn't be impressed by Tom Ford's quality anymore…But this palette is just stunning. To begin with, it's so pigmented. One touch is just enough to achieve a deep colour if you want to. And just look at this black! I have never seen a black shade with sparkles where: 1) sparkles transfer well with brush (!) and are really visible on the eyelid, 2) you have no fallout under eyes, 3) sparkles look expensive and luxurious. And here you have all of this. Shades are SO smooth, they feel creamy and they blend heavenly (I know I often say that about high-end palettes, but this went far beyond my expectations). In 5 minutes you have full glam black smokey, it's just unbelievable. The next thing I love is the colour story. These colours are very intriguing. You have a neutral light brown (as a great transition colour for black shade for lighter skin tones), grey with a hint of gold and green (if it makes sense), deep black with sparkles and pearl shimmer which is super bright on the eyes and perfect as an accent on the dark eye look (in comparison with delicate shimmers from Virgin Orchid, for example). I like that here you're not limited by only one black smokey makeup – you can for sure create at least brown and gold-grey looks as well, which is amazing having only 4 colours. To sum up: I bought it for a full price, and though I'd say it's a crazy price for 4 eyeshadows – it's worth every penny. It's close to becoming the best palette in my collection. Picked up another Ultimate Utopia palette this past weekend. On sale with a digital coupon. Too bad they only had one in the color story I like at [brand:cvs] , but I still needed at least one since the glitters were empty on my last palette. I go through the glitters the most. Love both the golds and the light green one. There's a little fallout, even if you use a primer and setting spray, but I'm attached to the glitters and the fallout is only noticeable if you get super close to my face. Wish the smaller version of this palette had all of the glitters and shimmers I like. Despite not using all the mattes, I think this palette is worth all of my repurchases. Recommended if you are looking to play with some fun colors and pretty shimmers and glitters. I used the palest matte from the top row and the charcoal-undertoned gold on the bottom row over it in my pic. So this isn't the palette I intended to buy in the first place, I was in a rush and added the wrong saved palette to my order. Customer service wasn't any help, so my feelings toward this palette may have already been soured. The colors are pretty, but different than advertised. There are not any true reds, but orange and pink toned ones. That works for me, I would prefer those anyways lol. the pigment is okay, a bit blotchy without a good base. The main problem I have is more than HALF of the palette consists of "pressed powders", and when reading the back of the palette it says that pressed powder CANNOT be used on or around eyes. Half of those being the colors I was most excited to use on my eyes! I would of never even saved this palette had I known that, so unless you want 9 colors you can't use on your eyes, then don't even bother with this. I expected so much better from NYX.Bek
I was very disappointed with this palette! I thought it looked really cute in the store and swatched decent enough that I felt confident enough to work with them. I was mistaken. Quite a few of the colors were hard to work with. The gold one would not catch for anything, no matter what I used (hands, brush, sponge). Even when I got some on the lid, it would disappear after a short while. A lot of the colors are like that. They (most of the shimmers and some of the mattes) go on really light and you have to build them up, but they disappear after a while being on your lids. I have used primer at times, none at others, and that did not make a difference. Just so disappointed, I threw it away instead of having someone else go through that. They blend kind of good, but like disappear as you are blending them (again, not all, but a lot of the colors perform like this, at least the palette I had). This shadow is $4.99 in Target. Beautiful quality and so cheap! It's a lovely pigmented matte cool taupe shade that makes the whites of my eyes look extremely white and overall makes my green eyes come alive. It has an almost creamy texture but yet it drys to a powder. Lasts all day over foundation and powder without any creasing. I use Cafe Au Lait on my lid and into the crease along with Paris Beach on the browbone. It's a classic look that works perfectly with my green eyes and NW20 skin. I got two shades (Paris Beach 200 and Pain Au Chocolat 207) in a Vox Box a while back, and I am split on them. I am giving them 4 stars strictly because of Paris Beach. I like this as a base for my eye makeup or for a natural look. However, I LOVE it as a brow bone highlight. I will be buying this just for that when I run out of the one that was sent to me. I personally don't have any issues with the formula on this one or find it chalky. Pain Au Chocolat is another story. I was so excited because the color looked SO pretty, but it has no pigmentation. I have to pretty much stab my brush into it to even get anything on the brush, and when I go to apply it basically blends out to nothing. This is a really good product for starters. I have the same product in a different shade: white highlighter, brown crease shade, and plum lid shade. I received the Almay Shadow Squad Eye Shadow from the Walmart Spark Reviewer program in exchange for my thoughts and opinions on this product. I am reviewing the eyeshadow color they call, “Ambition”. When I first opened the compact, I was worried about the color. It looked very brownish. Once I applied to my eyelids, it looked different on the skin then in the compact. Instead of being shades of browns it appeared it was different shades of purples. The Quad is not as large as I had expected considering four colors were in it. The height and length are the same as a AA battery. No applicator came with the eyeshadow compact, so you will have to get one of your own. I was not happy about that since I didn’t have one on hand. When it came time to apply the eye shadow it went on very smoothly. The colored lasted throughout the day. I had no creasing in the center of your eye lid. I liked the four colors that came in the compact. They complimented one another and allowed for mixing and matching the colors as the time of day (lighting) called for. Even if you plan to use all four colors at once, the different shades will look great for shading etc. I’m very please with this product and would highly recommend to others.ltlebear06
Bought this on a whim, I'm usually a brand buyer but thought the shades were pretty and it was only a few bucks. I bought it in Ambition and World is My Oyster. I'm fair, with brown hair and hazel eyes, I always gravitate to nude or taupe or light brown shades of eye makeup and lipgloss and thought this would work. I like the World is my Oyster palette way better, the Ambition shades are beautiful in the case but I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror at work while wearing it and thought I looked like I had serious shadows above both eyes. Won't be wearing that one again. The World is My Oyster shades are pretty and much better for me than Ambition, although it's very light. overall they're both fairly non descript and I wouldn't buy them again. They wear off easily and aren't very pigmented. I'll be sticking to Urban Decay (best single eye shadows ever) and Bare Minerals Glimpses (also very good, but a bit messy when applying). This has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. It has a perfect tint that evens skin tone on the entire lid. I have light/medium skin tone. If I choose to wear eyeshadow, it and eyeliner stay put all day. It also has the perfect lightweight consistency that does not get dry or cakey on my 54 year old skin. I hope this never gets discontinued.
You will either love this product or think it is a waste of money! But that only depends on your prefrences and expectations. I've always been looking for a product to enhance and brighter my eyelids w/o making it look like eyeshadow or makeup, conceales would usually dry out eyelid skin and end up creasing after hours…this product though….is beauty and skincare in one! This is like the magic eye potion I've been looking for my entire life and I'm so happy to have found it through Lisa Eldridge's no makeup makeup video…this product is like none other and I'll keep purchasing it. Perricone MD please keep making this magical product. In terms on longevity it stays beautifully on the eyes until you remove it. It blends so seamlessly you can never tell there's sth on your eyes even looking at a 10x magnifying mirror! And for me it vividly softens my eyelid and fine lines immediately disappear! This idea is a good one, our eyelids lightened and our general look brightened with a product that looks natural on the face, but the contents seem dried out. I doubt it will last very long. Also more info on the shades would be helpful. I would be tempted to try the line’s foundation, but there is little guidance regarding those shades either. So why bother? I ask myself. The company or the vendors would help us consumers if a range of color shades was added, as sometimes is found for lipsticks, say, and perhaps with a few words of description, such as best for very light complexions with pink tones or for a medium, tanned look or for black complexions leaning toward cappuccino.Buying skin products online is very tricky and should be accommodated more by the brands and, when possible, the vendors. I love trying out new eye makeup, so when I saw this eyeshadow palette, I knew I had to try it! I chose the natural color palette, but I think all of the palettes are beautiful! I like that you can mix and match different shades and blend them. The shades in this palette are shimmery and very soft. I almost find them a little too soft dry, so I apply them wet. I have also used these as a brow filler and they work great! I don't use the applicator that comes with the palette though, as I prefer to use a brush to apply eye shadow. Overall, I definitely recommend trying out this palette! I will also add that luckily none of my eye shadows arrived broken, however, I would second the recommendation 5o buy this palette in the store due to the nature of the eye shadows.MnM20072010
The Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista provides nine shades that can be applied wet or dry. The dry application gives more of an earthy, natural coverage and the wet application provides a more intense color. This product leaves a long-lasting look, so a quick application in the morning and you are set for the day. I love the color palatte, but was not impressed with the applicators included. One double-ended applicator was included for the nine shades of color. This did not allow for clean application for each shade. I like to apply my eyeshadow with a brush, rather than a sponge tip. I have also applied this shadow with my fingertip. I liked the silky texture of the eye shadow and would recommend this product. Okay, way to go Almay, definitely stepping up your game!! Love this palette, I got the Naturlista one and wow. I usually never use drugstore level eyeshadow because it's not usually good, but this Almay palette is another level! They blend effortlessly and are pigmented! The shades are beautiful and I just love it! The shadows are very buttery, and they blend like a dream. I enjoy the shade selection, and you can go from a more natural look to a going out look in seconds. This eyeshadow lasted without creasing or fading all day without an eyelid primer, and that is extremely impressive. The shadows are not the most pigmented shadows, but I enjoy this because it makes it easier to blend and to create a softer look. The shadows can appear deeper if you use them wet. I have this 16 color palette in the rainbow shades. They have a few different shade options of this palette, but from what I understand…the formula in these palettes are the same, and I’ve heard that they all are great, and super pigmented. I actually purchased this palette after seeing several ladies on Instagram raving about these. I have a lot of nude eyeshadows, so the rainbow one spoke to me. It is so so good! I was actually shocked. LA Colors eyeshadows are hit and miss a lot of times. Well, this one is a hit!! Super soft, and pigmented. I've seen these palettes at Dollar General and for the longest time I was adamant about not buying them because they look cheap and unlike other brands of makeup. Then, one day, I watched JuicyJas on Youtube do a video using La Colors makeup in one of her tutorials. To my surprise, they were very pigmented and she looked amazing. I caved like so many people did and bought the #4 chanel tweed palette. It did not disappoint. If you never tried Chanel, it needs to be understood that Chanel is more about subtle elegance. You will not get super pigment like from Natasha Denona. That being said, this is a buildable formula and I haven't had any experience with it being patchy. Here'a a quick overview of Clair-Obscur 308: Pros: The colors are matte but not at all chalky or dry or aging The colors are great everyday colors, very neutral, and easy to blend The colors could also be used to make a great smokey eye I imagine the colors would be flattering on many skin tones and eye colors There is no sparkle, fall out, chalkiness, or creasing like many other shadows Cons: The big price for the small amount of shadow ($61 for 2 grams means each shadow is 1/2 gram only) The packaging is cheap, lightweight plastic, not any nicer or better than what you can buy at your local drugstore The applicators are cheap; again, not any better than what you can buy at your local drugstore Final thoughts: If the eyeshadow costs $61 dollars and has the double C for Chanel stamped on it, there is a certain expectation about how the packaging and applicators look and feel. Prepare to be let down! I don't care about the packaging or the brand name. As long as it doesn't break and make a mess, I'm fine. What does matter to me is finding eyeshadow that doesn't make my middle-aged eyes look older than they are. If you are 20 or 30, you can put anything on your eyes and it will look great; it's called youth, and youth is beautiful. Go to the drugstore and put that money you save towards your student loans or retirement account. After 40, I and my eyelids need quality and performance, and that often means spending a bit more on certain items, but I buy a lot less – more quality and less quantity. Because of the price, I really wanted to not like this eyeshadow, but once I put it on (smooth like butter), wore it all day (great for work), and it still looked great at the end of the day (no creasing), I knew I would not be returning this shadow and said good bye to my $61 bucks. Giving it a one star because it’s a beautiful color story. That is the only pro about this palette. I am extremely disappointed. I had been looking forward to using this palette after receiving it in one of my subscription boxes – I love purple eye shadow and this color story is beautiful! However, I was so let down when trying out some eye looks with it. The mattes are extremely patchy and don’t blend well. When using the lightest purple (middle in the bottom row), I found when blending it, it would turn a patchy magenta color in any crease… which is where I was trying to blend it as a transition color. It only looked okay if I patted it down onto my eyelid but even that was short lived due to how patchy it is. The glitters are gorgeous and need to be pat down on your lid as well, but also extremely patchy! There is a ton of fall out as well. This product is absolutely not worth a DOLLAR. I will be honest – that is an EXTREMELY beautiful palette. The best green palette I own. I wish was that shiny and easy to use (I will probably sell it now, cause this is a much better replacement). Matts are great: you have bright green, mint green and khaki. You may easily mix them to create new shades (what I actually did by adding a hint of green to khaki). Shimmers are literally to die for, they are smooth and just gorgeous. I have tried and owned hundreds of shimmers, from the cheap to super expensive, but these still impressed me a lot. I'd say, the best thing about this palette is that it's so small but it gives you really everything you need in terms of the green colour story. Variety of shades is awesome and, I think for the first time in my life, I would not remove any single shade from it, as all of them are just perfect. This makeup look took me 5 mins. Huda Beauty rocks it with the Gemstone Obsessions pallette…This pallette consists of nine creamy shimmers that blend out like a dream in rich jeweled tones. A little product goes a long way and there is minimal fallout with these highly pigmented shimmers. The nine shades are gorgeous making this my favorite of the Obsessions pallettes. The colors really stand out giving you a variety of looks. My only wish is that this pallette were a little larger and the pans held more product because this pallette is awesome. Other than that this is the perfect little jewel toned pallette. The price for this pallette is $27 for the nine shadows. This is my favorite matte neutral eyeshadow, in shade Coconut. It's a perfect match to my skin tone. Love it. I wear it over the Ulta brand matte eyeshadow primer in nude, which is my favorite primer out of many brands I've tried, including prestige brands. It can even be worn alone which I love. Anyways back to the eyeshadows, I also like the color Petite for a more pinky neutral shade. Also Say What and Plum Pop are great. I prefer the mattes. They go on well and don't crease. I've tried many other colors and I like them too, but I found that some of the lighter shimmer colors (like Sunshine, Water Color, and Under the Sea) aren't very pigmented and don't look like the color they are supposed to be. I'm typically not a fan of glitter so I haven't tried many of those. I love that there are a good variety of colors and they aren't expensive. The mattes are just as good as the prestige brands in my opinion. I was bummed years back when Ulta changed their eyeshadow singles and made them smaller, and discontinued/changed colors. But I'm happy that I've found ones that work for me, and I use one of my favorite go-to's every day.JM
I have a bunch of the eyeshadow singles. Coconuts is great as a brow bone shadow. Most colors have good pigmentation and moderately good staying power when worn with a primer. I wish there were more basic colors. They used to make a pale light gray that was my daily shadow but they discontinued it and never brought anything like it back. I've lost count of how many times I've purchased Ulta's single eyeshadow in the color "Coconut". I wear it almost every day. I also have "Pure as Snow" and "Suede". All three shadows are matte, and I love the colors and the formula – smooth, pigmented and long-lasting. I have tried some of the shimmers, but in my opinion, they are not as spectacular. Shimmer eyeshadows somehow end up making my eyes red. This has never happened with the matte shadows. Please, Ulta, if you are taking requests, add more MATTE colors to the collection. I received the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette courtesy of Influenster and Charlotte Tilbury in exchange for my honest review. I am no stranger to CT products. I have a collection full of things that I love from the brand. CT is a luxury brand so the price does reflect that. I personally have no issue paying a higher price tag for a product if the quality is there. The 4 eyeshadows in this quad definitely are high quality. They are smooth, easily blendable, pigmented, and easy to work with even on my mature eyes. The packaging is elegant and does look luxurious. It is not bulky and would be travel friendly for those that travel. It is easy to create several different looks with the 4 eyeshadows included. I found myself using the bottom 2 the most. Sometimes I find rosy shades can make me look sickly, but these shades had enough warmth that they looked good with my brown eyes and tan skin. I like the palette size. I do not regularly use more than 2 eyeshadows for my day to day looks. I am knocking off one star because although Pillow Talk is iconic in the makeup industry- the eyeshadow shades are not truly unique. Since I have an extensive makeup collection I can duplicate the shades. With CT being at a higher price point you could find these shades at a lower cost. If you want the CT luxury experience and these shades speak to you I would highly recommend this palette as well as many other CT products. The Pillow Talk Luxury Palette offers a beautiful quad of rosy neutrals with an extra touch of sparkle. It was such fun to be gifted with this so that I could play with the palette and create a look for you all. The shimmery champagne with pink undertones is terrific to apply all over the lid or can be used to highlight the brow bone and inner corner. The top right shade is a light beige pink with matte finish and serves as a stunning transition color for the crease line. The bottom right shade is a medium rosy brown with matte finish and warm undertone. I would recommend using this for emphasizing the outer corner and it also is beautiful to use along the lower lash line. The bottom left shade is a lush pop of rose gold glitter, perfect for placing on the very center of the lid. It’s very easy to apply and blend out the shadows. The coverage runs more on the sheer side. If you are looking to do a dramatic eye then I suggest to add brown liquid liner in the top water line and as well as using an angle brush to line the top lashes pushing the bottom right shade into the lash roots. I was provided the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette free for review purposes. This breathtakingly beautiful eyeshadow palette quad is the definition of romantic glam. I felt different in this palette- confident, ethereal and empowered. That for me is truly the power of great makeup in uplifting your perspective. You can wear this for an everyday eye look or really create drama by adding liner and lashes. This is the epitome of feminine versatility. The muted pinks highlighted with vibrant shimmer play beautifully against the deeper mauve/brown shades. The shades are neutral in color palette but can be built up or faded to diversify your look. There are two matte shades in this palette on the right and two shimmer shades on the left. The matte shadows apply beautifully with a full fluffy brush or flat eyeshadow brush. I typically utilize my fingers to apply shimmer shades to really bring out their opulent vibrancy on my eyelids. As with all shimmer shades you need to use a good base and set your makeup or you will have fallout. I don’t mind with such finely milled product because it is not glitter pieces but a shimmering highlighter effect. I loved that these shadows felt almost saturated in the pan. If you have ever utilized a chalky eyeshadow, where a hardened texture forms over the top, you understand the difference in product ingredients. The quality is here to backup the price tag. This palette does retail for $53 (after pay/installments are available on brand website). This is a higher end product that I will definitely get full use out of in my collection. I love the color of this product! It's shimmery with golden sunrise glow. It is a cream product, which it makes very easy to blend but throughout the day, it did not last long. While it started out silky and creamy and so even and perfect, after about 2 or 3 hours it began to "wrinkle" up look very splotchy. I'm not a fan of the texture that cream eyeshadows turn into after a few hours of wear. The color was beautiful but only in the beginning. I am not a fan of cremes but I was curious of this. I like this eyeshadow quite a bit. I'm not good at applying eyeshadow so I have to use suble colors. I bought the color "Hustle" only because it was the only one ULTA had in the store. It's a great color on me and very easy to apply and blend so I'm very happy with it. I see a ton of reviews these days regarding no product in tube or old product when new. I've experienced this also but not with this particular product as others have. My thinking is that because production was shut down due to COVID, we're buying products that were made pre-covid and should have been thrown out rather than sold to the consumer. I love the concept of this little stack. It is so small, and adorable, and I thought it would be just perfect for travel. I love the color combo in the Chocolate Dahlia, it would be perfect, if only the top shade wasn’t so glimmery/glittery. I don’t know if it it’s just me, but I feel like so many brands are doing more glittery shimmers instead of just a nice metallic shimmer, and I’m just so sad every time. tried this out the other day and was so surprised! the glitter is beautiful but the mattes were really surprising! i started with the lighter one and it was normal but the dark one was insane! So I will start by saying that this was a maxxanista find and I paid 3 dollars for it. I would not have paid full price, but using them has changed my mind and will when I hit pan and use them up because I doubt I will be able to find them. I am a novice when it comes to makeup so palettes can be very overwhelming. I currently own two larger palettes and usually stick to a few shades so I find it to be a waste of product. These bento trios take the guess work out for you and can help achieve simple eye looks. I have it in Glowing Guava as well and love how pigmented they both are and they blend smoothly. There is also nearly no fallout with the shimmer shade. The colors are so pretty that even wearing one by itself looks stunning. My skin tone falls between light and medium and I am neutral. I have oily lids and surprisingly it lasted all day and did not crease and was vibrant with my e.l.f and lancome primer after a day riding the subway and running errands. I also wear contacts and this did not bother my eyes for those that are wondering.CharlieJuliet

I purchased Grape, Burgundy, and a few other shades (can't recall their names at the moment). Test the MUFE shade you're interested in buying in Sephora (if possible) to make sure it blends the way you want. Burgundy and Grape both shift from purple-tones to more of a warm brown when blended out. I think it looks absolutely beautiful, but some people may not necessarily want that. As for the product itself, it is certainly pigmented and doesn't have issues blending. However I do think a good brush makes all the difference with getting these shadows to blend. (I'm a Wayne Goss junkie and his brushes give impeccable performance with these.) These have long wear time as long as you prime your eyelids beforehand, as well as placing a layer of skin-tone eyeshadow on your lids before colors. But that helps them blend better anyway, so why not do that. 🙂 As for fallout, the mattes have minimal fallout but the shimmers have a tiny bit. Nothing you can't clean off your face, but if you're doing a darker color (like Grape) perhaps do your eyes first and then face. The fallout isn't severe enough to make me take off a star because I think these perform so well.CynthiaPyl
I discovered MUFE at Sephora and love a matte light shade for my all over base. So I decided to purchased 6 shades for a palette. Sooo disappointed. The shadow simply does not blend well. I have tried a soft brush, a stiff brush, a small brush, a large brush…. it goes on splotchy and does not blend. I am so disappointed. I will continue to use the base shade as it seems to go on well since it doesnt need blended. But I am unable to use the other 6 shades as they are impossible to blend.Mandy75

This is a grey quad palette of all shimmers. The lightest silver is one of the prettiest, most opaque, metallic silver eyeshadows ever! I bought it for that color specifically and really hit gold (er…silver). 4/5 stars is only because one of the other colors has already separated from the packaging and cracked in half. I've only had it a few months. So store it right side up! My photo I have used it in the inner corner.

I got the shade Avenue de roses. I typically don't use drugstore eye shadow unless it's cream. I actually like this though. I like that it's portable, I love that it's a complete look. the shades all seem to work best as a wash of color. they don't build up that great. the dark chocolate brown shade is really patchy if you try to build it too much too soon. I find it easiest to use a flat synthetic brush. the same one for the whole look is fine because the colors all compliment one another perfectly. if your brush has a thin enough edge you can even do a nice liner with that dark shade that looks lovely. I don't know if the softer colors are punchy enough to go it alone on the lid unless you want that sheer barely there wash of color. the brown is perfect alone though.Amber

These have been around for ages and you’ve probably all heard enough about them, but they’re some of the only drugstore shadows I have that I actually love. 💎Each shadow has a near creamy feel, with a slight emollience so they are not at all gritty. When you dip your finger or brush into the pot, you can pick up some chunks of shadow, but because of their sophisticated texture they smooth out very easily. I prefer to apply these with my pinky finger and blend lightly at the edges. I never wear shadow without primer so I cannot speak to their lasting power on their own through vast experience, but the ONE time I used them on their own they still creased on my oily lids. With primer they last all day and look freshly applied until I take them off. 💎Every shade I’ve ever owned of these has performed beautifully and consistently, although I cannot speak to all the shades. These three that I have are excellent, and I regularly use them for quick, one shadow looks but they are absolutely versatile and layer well on top of one another. They even later lovely on top of matte shadows, which is usually something that’s uncommon in my experience with other shimmers! ✅Highly recommend, and I would repurchase, however as you can see there is a TON of product left in each pot and I’ve had these all for a few years.
