MY FAVORITE OIL OF ALL TIMES!!! I don't know how many bottles of it I ve used over the years!!!! I am not counting. Originally, I was squeaking every time I had to buy a new bottle, more than a hundred bucks for a bottle!!! This is my second time purchasing Juno Face oil from the Q. It's now my favorite face oil. This oil is very hydrating, and living in the southwest in dry conditions and with winter heat, I need the most hydrating products out there. This delivers and it feels so good on the skin. It's a bit thicker than most face oils I've tried, and it's not greasy at all. I typically apply it at night, and this really sinks into the skin. I can see and feel how soft my skin is the next morning. It's nice to apply during the day too for a boost of moisture. And, if you get the gift with purchase, it's is so worth it. The Fairy Godmother body oil that is the offer right now, is a full size body oil, with a slight shimmer, yet not glittery at all. As far aesthetics; this is an oil. In my opinion facial oils are facial oils and all feel quite similar on the skin. Sure, some might be thinner and seem more lightweight, but in general oils have a similar aesthetic and feel on the skin. I used to be quite generous with oils for their supposed antioxidant properties until I learned that seed oils are considered to be quite concentrated- so you truly do not need a lot of product on the face to reap the benefits. Seriously, you only need 2 maybe 3 drops max for the entire face. Plus, this will have a better aesthetic and feel on the skin. I must admit I am not the biggest fan of Sunday Riley's products in general. I find them to be full of fragrance and very expensive. This product is the definite exception since it is one of, if not the only S.R. product in their lineup. Ok so to be honest I love Sheamoisture products because they use natural and organic ingredients. Unfortunately this product didn’t quite work for me. It was very drying and makes my face for prone to becoming dry through the day. It also irritated my skin, might be because I have some acne. I’ve been looking and trying different products and was happy to find this one. At age 62, Menopause has dried out my skin so much. I needed more than just a heavy moisturizer, plus a product that didn’t break my bank. I’ve been using Burt’s Bees facial oil for about a month and couldn’t be more pleased. I’m applying it before bed along with Burt’s Bees nighttime moisturizer. I know it sounds like a lot of product, but my face isn’t greasy. I wanted to use this for a couple weeks before writing a review. I am obsessed with oils, but unfortunately a lot of them lead to breakouts on me except for a select few if I only use them at night after the rest of my skincare. This one intrigued me because it is mostly cold pressed seed oils which are molecularly smaller and easier to absorb. I apply 2 drops over my moisturizer (ole henriksen strength trainer) in the morning and my makeup applies beautifully over it. I apply 3 drops at night over the same moisturizer and my skin loves this stuff. It absorbs more than any oil I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t absorb entirely, there’s still a bit that stays dewy and glowy, but not a complete oil slick like others that just sit on top and never soak in. It had made my skin SO soft and smooth and cleared any active breakouts. My skin was breaking out a bit when I first started using it, but my period was coming and was the real culprit. Because after my period, my skin cleared right up and I’ve been using this oil consistently day and night all the way through. I think I’ve finally found the right oil blend for my skin. I have dry skin with occasional hormonal breakouts. I’ve tried Sunday Riley (Luna, Juno, CEO), Fresh, Josie Maran, Clarins, dermalogica, korres, etc. If there’s a face oil in the line, I’ve used it! Fantastic added moisture in the winter! I add a couple of drops to my face right before I rub my moisturizer on. My skin feels particularly velvety and hydrated, giving my moisturizer that little extra kick when its super dry out. I haven't noticed any kind of break outs or reaction to this product, and I have a tendency to have pretty sensitive skin around my chin and cheeks. This oil does an amazing job of locking in hydrating, subtly primping, and adding a dewy glow. My skin can be acne prone at times, but I haven’t had any blemishes due to this product. Compared to DE’s oil, the Summer Friday oil has a thicker consistency, but I feel it absorbs better than the thinner DE product. Compared to Saint Jane’s face oil, this SF oil doesn’t seem to calm and even skin tone quite as well, but the texture, hydration, plumping, not to mention the price tag, makes this a clear winner between the two. I actually meant to buy another product and got confused as the two are so similar. While this product wasn't what I had originally wanted, I have to say I'm not disappointed. It definately hydrates my skin, and provides a nice glow, and though it is a bit oily it still sits well under make up. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, (it's got that hippy sort of smell) but it's not strong enough to turn me of using it. WOW, that is the first word that comes to mind. I can say I have tried almost every popular clean beauty oil in the industry and none have impressed me as much as this oil. I apply this after my Chebula serum and talk about bio-compatible just like they claim it absorbs almost instantly into my skin. The texture is lightweight and non-greasy and again like nothing I’ve every experienced before. I now see why this is a bestseller. I was so surprised by this oil. I normally stray away from oils because my skin type is oily and I struggle with that throughout the day. But, this product is wonderful! It does not leave any oiliness whatsoever on the skin and the product just sinks in and leaves a beautiful glow. I have to leave an honest review of this product as I feel some people would probably benefit from knowing what I know now, and unfortunately learned the hard way. Upon initial use, I thought it seemed really nice, and I probably would have recommended it. I honestly knew very little about green beauty at the time, nor did I know just how many sensitizing oils this product contains, and how even if things seem like they’re going okay for a while, eventually this product could really harm your skin. After using this product for about a month, with no adverse effects, my skin changed within a matter of days. It started stinging and burning constantly, became tight, dry, irritated, and exceptionally painful. I immediately discontinued the product. I now recognize that some of the oils in this product (specifically fir needle oil, pine needle oil, and jasmine oil) are well documented skin sensitizers, which can cause allergic contact dermatitis over time. I truly hate to say this but it’s been two years, and my skin is still not even close to normal. I have seen dermatologists and tried many gentle, replenishing routines to help fix my skin barrier, but I still experience constant tightness, dryness, and occasional stinging, as my skin is constantly inflamed. Prior to using this product, I had really easy, excellent skin for all of my life, and I have no other skin issues at all, nor have I ever had any issues with any other product I’ve tried. I was kindly gifted C.E.O Glow by Sunday Riley for my honest feedback. I am someone who uses a dedicated vitamin C in my routine and have been doing so for years. I’ve wanted to get C.E.O Glow for sometime as I’ve heard great things about it. What I like about it it is uses THD ascorbic acid, a more stable form of vitamin C. THD stimulates more collagen than L-ascorbic acid, so you tend to enjoy better anti-aging, more plumping, more firming, and more collagen production with this ingredient. I’ve been using this for 10 days now and can see a slight improvement in my skins tone and texture. I always use other forms of treatments such as retinol and exfoliating products just not at the same time. I believe the combination of using various treatments will help you increase results. This leaves my skin feeling soft and not oily. I love the packaging of Sunday Riley’s products as well but would still like to see all vitamin C products stored in opaque containers even if they are not L-ascorbic bases. So…I was super excited to try this product. I love oils and have been wanting to incorporate Vitamin C into my routine and I know turmeric is good for the inside so why not the outside? This oil is not bad per se. Pros: feels nice, did not sting, did not cause breakouts, imparts a glow because it is an oil. Cons: glass bottle, did not notice skin being any better, cost compared to comparable products, can stain things, I did not become a CEO after using (just kidding). I know some like a glass bottle…it is pretty, feels pricey, and glass has a nice heft to it. But seriously unless you have Lady Gaga money and built a separate carpeted room with a ginormous vanity station to house your elixirs and smooth them onto your epidermis there is a risk it will break. And at 80 bucks an ounce that would suck. Also, it is nice to have products in containers that you can throw in your bag or carry on easily. I had my suspicions of "magic skin oils," but this stuff really is magic. I was reccomended this oil by a friend when I had gotten new stretch marks on my breasts from the pill. I also had old white stretch marks on my thighs and butt. I saw results after just one day for my new scars! The marks on my breasts faded within a few days and it softened the look of the ones on my thighs! It by no means fully erases stretch marks, but rather fades them quite a bit. I am very fair skinned, 20 years old, and I have combination skin on my face but dry skin on my body. I have acne prone skin on my face so I wouldn't dare use this for my facial acne scars, but for my body it's amazing for stretch marks!! I love love love this product! I used this oil through 2 pregnancies, alternating with Palmer's Cocoa butter daily and I did not get one stretch mark (gained 22lbs on my first pregnancy and 20lbs on my second) and it also helped to reduce the ones I already had. It has a great smell to it! You don't need to use a lot because it's oil, which becomes a plus as this is a pricey (but totally worth it) product. I had two emergency c-sections so I used for a little while on my scar and noticed a decent difference to the color of my scar. I've seen some people using a few drops on their fingers and add to their hair (dry ends) and see good results with it. I did for a little bit but my hair is naturally oily so I had to stop. Had a c-section on October 11th, bought this product on October 20th and started using it that same day. I apply it 3 times a day and I allow it to soak in for about an hour. In the 6 days I've been using this I can see a huge difference in my incision! All the scabbing and redness has disappeared and now it's just a dark pink color (I can't really explain lol) but I was SUPER surprised with this product and somewhat skeptical. This product is VERY moisturizing as well which definitely helps when you're trying to fade scars. I'm not sure how long you're supposed to wait before you start using a scar creams on a c-section scar but I started as soon as I could. I would have used it sooner but I was in the hospital for 9 days with other complications but I think if you use it at least a week after the surgery then you will get better results instead of waiting weeks or months.Ray

I’m someone who is skeptical when it comes to claims on skin care. When I read this helps with redness, I decided to give it a shot. I seriously wish I took a before picture, but my redness and more importantly, the texture from my rosacea on my cheeks has gotten so much better! I actually received this as a birthday gift and am so glad I got it! I've been plagued with eczema/dermatitis on my face and neck and this has really helped with calming my irritated, dry cracked skin. I've been prescribed hydrocortisone, Elidel and other rx's, but this works so much better and without any funky side effects! It has a nice blend of skin loving oils that are great for the skin barrier-especially sensitive skin. It can be a bit greasy if you use a lot- which under "normal" circumstances you don't need to-but for MY skin at the moment, it's fine. It is pricey which is why I knocked off 1 star, but if you can afford to splurge, I'd recommend this!
I really love how this oil calms my skin, and my favorite way to use it is after doing a chemical peel because using it after deep exfoliation really lets the ingredients sink in and work their magic! I have dry skin with a little acne from time to time and this really helps keep my skin hydrated. I use it at night, once or twice a week after exfoliation and my 47 year old skin is glowing and young looking. The only thing I don't love is that it takes a long time to sink in. I've read so many reviews where people use it before makeup and I can't imagine doing that! For me, it gradually sinks in overnight for beautiful results in the morning. I would also add that I only use it when I'm going to wash my hair in the morning as it makes my hair greasy if it touches my face. This oil is just beautiful. I use it in conjunction with the marine cream, either first on dry skin then the cream on top or on top of the cream once it has sunk in & they work really well together. I use it on top of the cream if I want more of a glow for day time but I believe on dry skin you’ll get the most benefit as your skin really drinks it in. The smell is so nice, think fresh cucumbers. As there is fragrance, if you’re sensitive I suppose there is potential for irritation but I have fairly sensitive skin and none of the Elemis products irritate me at all, I believe because it’s all natural. If you have extra sensitive skin it may be worth doing a patch test on any of their products. A little goes a long way with this oil, it leaves you super glowy! I do use slightly more than the recommended drops though as I like to use it down my neck and onto my chest & 3-4 isn’t quite enough for me I’d say more like 6, 3-4 is plenty for just the face though. It isn’t super oily/greasy, it’s more of a dry oil texture but this doesn’t take away from its hydration at all, I like the fact you can actually feel & see your skin drinking it, it doesn’t sit on top of the skin like a film. So if you’re looking for that sort of thing this may not be for you. It’s more an oil you have to pat in rather than use like a moisturiser in my opinion. I close my eyes and pat it on them too & it doesn’t irritate them at all. This tends to last me ages even when I use it morning and night but you can use it sparingly, maybe just once a day & you’ll still see the benefits for sure! This is great to take out with you as well if you’re out & want a quick boost of moisture or glow, I would say it’s light enough to use over makeup if you’re looking a bit cakey or dry. I use this with a jade roller & notice this really gives it a boost as it helps the skin drink it in so if you’re looking for a night time routine it’s a good add in to wake up looking refreshed & glowy. Great for winter when your skin’s a bit drier. I have acne prone skin and this does not clog up pores at all. In fact, this has helped a lot with keeping my skin clear. I expected this to be gentle because normally when I think superfood I think organic ingredients, fruit oils and antioxidants. I also expected it to be more special than it really is. Honestly its kind of just another clay mask if you ask me. Dont get me wrong I love a good clay mask. I was just looking for something that wouldnt dry me out and would plump and soften my skin. So I wasnt expecting a clay mask when I purchased this. It does work well, as a clay mask. But for the price Ive definitely tried better. Sorry elemis, Iove your products and i dont mind paying a higher price if its a product i truly love. Just didnt impress me or wow me very much. Very fragranced as well. After moving to a dessert climate I was desperate to nourish my skin. My skin was completely dehydrated due to the hot outside-climate and the lack of humidity inside my house created by the air conditioning. Being familiar with Elemis I purchased this oil hoping to upgrade the skin on my face and hands. It comes in a glass bottle and has a grassy-earthy smell which I completely love. For me is a direct reminder of the oil's ingredients. However, if you're looking for a subtle scent or one that would faint fast I believe this is not for you. I didn't achieve the results I wanted neither or my face nor in my hands. Nevertheless, I understand that it was not due to a lack of performance of the oil, it was just that I didn't apply it the right way. I over-applied it and as a result the product couldn't get fully absorbed into my skin. I used the whole bottle and it improved my skin: it became a little bit brighter, less inflamed and softer. However, if I would have been patient enough and apply only what's suggested the oil would have penetrated better. I would have avoided the embarrassing "oily face look" and the nourishing effects would have been amplified. I believe that it would have been beneficial (my skin was flaky) to do an exfoliation process prior to adding the Superfood Oil to my regime. My skin would have been cleared of at the outer-dry layer and absorption would have been easier. I'm planning to buy it again and use it sparingly. I recommend it to anyone; just don't apply a lot hoping to get faster results and prepare your skin to get the most benefits.BioRodriguez

I always find myself coming back to this oil and it’s the only retinol/anti aging product I’ve used consistently. I started with sample sizes and then the combo with Good Genes, but I think it’s the night oil that really delivers. It helps a lot with hormonal/stress acne and redness. When I skip using it, I definitely notice I get more blemishes and break outs. I’ve used exfoliating products that give similar results, but those end up drying out my combination skin and giving me eczema flare ups around my nose. I don’t have any such problems with this product, my skin always feels moisturized and hydrated after I use it. I couldn’t swear that it’s made a difference with wrinkles, but it’s certainly not hurting. Because I need to use so little of it, I’d say a full-sized bottle probably lasts me around a year. It’s more than I would like to pay, but I think the cost per use somewhat justifies it.Sahagala
Not for use during pregnancy .. because retinoids can result in multiple effects on the developing embryo and fetus including miscarriage, premature delivery, and a variety of birth defects. *Had to google pregnancy and retinol to understand why this warning label was applied.* I got this #freeproduct to #trywithtopbox in exchange with my honest review. I used this product at night time as suggested, with no other skin care products. Used 4 drops on my facial massager to apply this oil and had too much excess. Within a few days I had a break out along my jawline and a small patch of skin under my bottom lip was raw. I stopped using the product until my skin healed and tried it again with my normal skin care routine and only used 2 drops, much better application and no excess! I don't really like the herbally scent but you get used to it. The texture was ok for an oil product, found it to be more like water consistency. I really loved the blue to clear transformation! Sadly I didn't notice any difference in my skin after using this product, but I would love to see this product without the retinol!christina.b
I had been using The Ordinary's 2% Granactive Retinoid in Squalane for a year or so, which gave decent results for a $10/bottle product. When the COVID lockdowns kicked in early last year that particular product was sold out everywhere online so I ended up dropping the retinol entirely from my routine for 9+ months. At the end of that period of time, my skin was congested even with regular AHA / BHA peels and a salicylic acid cleanser, so I decided to add a retinoid back into my routine. I chose the LUNA Night Sleeping Oil because of the ingredients – I've been making a conscious effort to stay away from overly chemical products where I can. Everything in this product is pretty straightforward and I've had no issues even though I have sensitive / rosacea-prone skin. After cleansing, I use a moisturizing essence, let that absorb, then I place 3 drops of the LUNA oil in my palm, warm between my hands, and press gently on my face avoiding the eye area. The product applies nicely and does not feel greasy or heavy on my face. I also make sure to wait ~10 minutes for the product to absorb before using my normal moisturizing cream on top. My skin looked better the next day, which genuinely surprised me. I did experience a bit of purging and one day of barely flaky skin around my nose, but both issues resolved as quickly as they started. The improvement in pore congestion / closed comedones has been pretty amazing in the two weeks that I've been using the product. I can't say too much about line reduction at this point, but overall my complexion looks healthy and refreshed and I absolutely feel that the product is worth its price. The only complaint that I have is about the bottle – it's a clear glass bottle with a dark blue coating / translucent paint. Every time I hold the bottle at the base, the blue paint flakes off and sticks to my hand. At first I didn't realize that it was from the bottle and wondered if the oil had some solids in it, but upon closer inspection I realized it was the blue coating. I double check to make sure there's no flakes on my hand before applying the oil to my face. It's minor but for the price the bottle should be true colored glass or another option without any deco coating.Anonymous

There's a reason why Sunday Riley is in my top three favorite brands. Literally everything I have tried from this brand just works for my skin. I'm also impatient and such a fan of instant gratification and in my opinion that is what they deliver. Using their products my skin looks instantly hydrated, plump, glowing and even toned. This serum has a light lotion feel. If you have normal skin like myself it can be hydrating enough on its own. If not it layers well with other products. It absorbs into the skin like a dream and leaves it feeling smooth to the touch. It does have a light citrus scent that doesn't linger after application. Containing 15% stabilized vitamin c it helps protect against the elements and also helps to firm, brighten and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also have fade dark spots. Other top ingredients are Phytosterols Complex which helps to calm the skin and reduce redness and skin sensitivity.Saccharide Isomerate Extract which helps strengthen and maintain the skin barrier as well as reduce the appearance of pores and glycolic acid which can help gently exfoliate the skin as well as help with breakouts. My skin has changed a lot throughout the past years. I personally as of now struggle with comedones. I was acne prone as a teenager and have gained clear skin through birth control as well as spironolactone. Still looking for something to get rid of these comedones. Using this was very good for comedones considering it dries out those follicles that way the excess oil and sebum will be prevented from clogging a pore. However, if you struggle with dry skin do not use this. Unless you are applying pure aloe vera and coconut oil on your face 3 times a day this is not the product for you. My nose started peeling and flaking after 2 days of using it. I only applied it once each 2 nights. So I started using the JUNO face oil each night and the U.F.O. some mornings, which definitely worked in my favor. I used to struggle with oily skin but with the spironolactone it has definitely taken away those oils. If you also use another acne treatment definitely do not do this because that can cause irritation and a reaction. If you struggle with pores, acne, and have oily skin then i definitely recommend this product. Definitely not good for normal or sensitive skin either.koszmar
This was my first product from Sunday Riley. It was recommended to me by the Real Skincare Discussion. I started to get more acne and breakouts as I got older, but I was put on prescription creams for them. I believe this is why my skin disliked this serum. I started very slowly with a small patch test, and when I worked up to my whole face, I broke out everywhere. Although I used the prescription cream and this serum at opposite times of the day, I think it was simply too much for my skin. Either that or my face cannot tolerate one or more of the ingredients. However, I have found that if I use it on body acne as a light spot treatment, it does help with size and redness. I have been using the serum on my boyfriend’s face instead (always putting it in my clean hands first) and any breakouts, clogged pores and blackheads have noticeably improved with this. He gets compliments on his skin all the time, but I don’t get any of the credit for introducing him to this or any type of skincare routine at all lol. Overall, definitely a great product to try if you have acne, blackheads, clogged pores and would like to clear up your skin without stripping it of moisture.veteranlover

I used to struggle with patches of dry skin that would look horrible and even worse under makeup! I flew to the nearest [brand:deciem] store, a province to the west, quite a trip for skincare, but if you know [brand:deciem], you know the obsession! I was told about this amino acid, they explained that it would be perfect for someone with the issues I have. I tried it with the 'B' oil, amino acid first step, then 'B' oil, second step. I bought this about a month ago on a whim upon reading some reviews. I personally love unusual, herbal, earthy smells – it definitely has a green fish-oil scent and I adore it. I was dealing with hyperpigmentation, dehydration, dryness and breakouts due to dry winter air in my apartment. All that changed about my routine initially was the addition of this oil. Within a few days my skin was soft again. Within a week the breakouts subsided. My hyperpigmentation has started to dramatically clear up — I do want to note that I think that has more to do with my moisture barrier than with any brightening properties of the oil. I’ve started mixing this with my favourite rosehip oil, the Pai Skincare Rosehip Bioregenerate Oil (sorry TO, but it’s the best on the market) and my skin hasn’t looked this good in a very long time. I highly recommend giving this a try if your moisture barrier is damaged. I did not expect this to do much at all and now I don’t think I will ever be without it.Fig
I’ve used this a few times now and although I really love how it feels and works I just don’t know that I can deal with the fishy sea smell. I understand that everyone likes different smells and has slightly different sense of smell but to me it does smell a fishy so just be aware that it could smell that way for you as well. I’m wondering if I can add some frankincense or lavender essential oil and make the smell less prominent because I really love the feel and the effects. Just don’t love the smell. I just recently received my organic chia face oil and immediately I AM HOOKED. The first time I used it had me thinking — this has to be a fluke?? I hate hate hate just slathering oil on my face. I have dry skin but was raised in an oily family so i have a Thing against it. It was recommended to mix it with toner, which i then apply w a cotton pad, which makes it better, so if i thought the oil actually helped, I'd keep using it. It does not help. it sits on my skin and makes me look greasy for an hour and doesnt feel at all like it does anything good to my skin. I'd get softer skin slathering hand lotion on my face. I hate it. It will be going in the trash as soon as a better moisturizer comes in the mail.Carly
. First of all, I received this product as a gift. Normally I have a pretty oily T zone and not very dry skin. So I wouldn't have personally gone out of my way to buy it for myself, because I don't really need any more moisturiser. I guess the product does account for what it advertises- it definitely leaves my skin more moisturised than it was before applying. However, I found that even after applying a minuscule amount on my face and rubbing it in (only on my cheeks and forehead) that it left my skin with a very greasy feel. After a few days of uses, I also noticed breakouts in the zones in which I had been applying the oil. I guess this product just wasn't made for my skin.EJ

This bottle is attractive and the dropper is nice. The ingredients are great. I love using this at night before bed on a freshly washed and steamed face. I also use this after using my at home facial dermaplaning blade. The scent is calming and mood enhancing. This is a light oil that is moisturizing and healing but not heavy. I love this product. I followed the directions on the bottle, and it gave me a different but amazing experience then what I'm accustomed to with other night time facial serums and face creams. Putting a few drops in the palm of your hands and lightly rubbing your hands together, then lightly pat all over your face. Rub in a light circular motion all over your face while you experience the sensational feeling and smell of lavender, geranium, and chamomile while doing so. It feels like your own personal spa experience! Remember to avoid the sensitive eye areas while applying, because if you get this in your eyes, even a little, that will be a whole nother experience and not a pleasant one, unfortunately. Lol It's 100% organic,so it makes you feel safe and comfortable using it instead of worrying about chemicals going on your face, and my skin looks and feels great after just a few uses! Firstly, the smell is absolutely heavenly. I have used Rosehip oils before and the smell is just OK but the addition of lavender makes this such a gorgeous fragrance. I used it as the final step of my night time skincare routine and it feels like such a treat. Also this oil stays put, I've found with other night oils it migrates into my eyes and I wake up with stinging eyes whereas this one is thick enough to stay where you apply it. I also put some on my décolletage and baby bump! Such a great product that feels luxurious at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.Shonadee
