I honestly have yet to see any results. I do like the applicator bottle, it's unique and allows me to shake a bit directly onto the skin. I do like that this serum has some good key ingredients like glycolic acid, tranexamic acid, and niacinamide. Because of those key ingredients I believe my skin is still benefiting from my continued use of this Vichy serum. It does have some good claims like fade dark spots which I do have, reduce the look of wrinkles which I also have, and even skin tone out which I can benefit from. I don't know if this is a serum that will take awhile before seeing any or some results. I don't like that the serum stays tacky on my face, so I just wait a few minutes and apply the moisturizer over it and then of course I don't feel the tackiness after that. I will continue to use it because of the key ingredients, but I am hoping to see results in a few more months. I've been using it for about a month and a half. I've been using the Vichy LiftActiv B3 Serum everyday for 3 weeks now. I started off using twice a day as per the directions on the bottle but I felt like the more sensitive areas on my face was drying out. I used it once a day after that and had no more problems with drying skin. I like that the serum is more liquidlike and not sticky. It's closer to the consistency of water which I like because it doesn't feel sticky on my face like other serums. It gets absorb into my skin quickly and feels like I have nothing on my face which I like. It has a very slight chemical smell but I don't mind. As far as effectiveness, I've definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of my skin. My pores are not as visible which makes my face look smoother. I've also noticed the dark spots of my face due to acne blemishes are looking more red than the dark brown color they were before so they are fading. Overall my skin also looks clearer and brighter. My only negative is I wish that the bottle were different. I don't like having to shake the bottle a couple of times to get a few drops on my hand. This is the best "serum" I have EVER used, & I've used alot in my 51 years. The main reason I bought this is I have been "researching" the ingredient transemic acid, as it is supposed to help redness caused by broken blood vessels (which I have on my cheeks & sides of nose). I ditched the pharmerceris redness serum after using for 6wks as it dried my skin out too much. This serum has a feather light watery texture, I lightly shake into palm of hand & with 2 fingers together dab all over my face including eye orbital at night gently massaging in. In this very hot weather, when it is hard to stop sweating, this light serum is a godsend on its own-it leaves my face feeling soft, smooth & hydrated, & INSTANTLY makes my skin look glowy(not greasy), erases open pores on nose/cheeks, evens out my skintone, softens all my fine lines, makes my skin feel plumped & firmer, & gives enough hydration to not bother with a moisturiser afterwards(if it wasn't so hot at present, I would moisturise afterwards). I do not leave house much at present due to illness, but when I do, I will use this serum in daytime too as part of my daytime skincare, as it makes such a difference instantly to my skin(but wouldn't waste in daytime whilst just at home). This was my first purchase from PCA and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. I've been dealing with a new wave of hormonal acne for a few months and was been looking for a gel texture moisturizer to hydrate my skin during the day. The acne treatments I've been using have dried out my skin pretty severely so when I saw that this was designed to sooth irritated skin and the very high reviews I was excited to try it out. If I use this on its own or preferably with a face oil (I've been using Sunday Riley UFO) my skin is fine, not the most hydrated it could be but pretty good for daily wear. BUT if I try to use this with a prescription benzoyl peroxide or dapsone my face tightens and dries out in a matter of minutes and I experience a burning sensation. I also find that if I try to put a thicker moisturizer on top to try and counteract it's drying/irritating effects it immediately pills and I'm left with thick globs of product around my face that don't absorb, rendering my entire routine pretty useless. I'd give this product 3 stars but it's ridiculously pricey for not very much product and very underwhelming results. I think this would work well for people with oily skin, but otherwise I think there are much better gel moisturizers out there.Anonymous
I like this moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way. It feels kind of like a mix between serum and cream. It tingles when you first apply it. You do have to let it dry before applying makeup because your skin is a little sticky until it’s completely absorbed. This is a good day time moisturizer. Got this on popsugardabble. This caused intensely dry gross crusty peeling on my face on my eyelids and under my eyes. My skin is still burning a week later. I deeply regret putting this on my face. I look like an exema patient, I don't have exema. My skin was perfect before I used this. I have really really bad blackheads and always have using this has definitely helped some. It didn’t cure them all overnight but I see an improvement and less wrinkles in my skin. I’ve been using Jan Marini skincare for just under a couple years, and one of the first things my esthetician recommended to me was this serum. I have acne-prone skin that is also very sensitive. A lot of products with fragrance will give me a small bumpy rash or exacerbate current acne. This is a godsend! It smells like an orange creamsicle (no bizarre hotdog water here!) and the scent does not irritate me at all. If you suffer from post-acne hyperpigmentation or have some lingering spots, this really helps speed the process of healing them. My skin needed some TLC after being diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) and undergoing 6 months of IV Chemo and 1 year of Chemo pills. My skin has never looked better in my entire life. Excellent eye cream, it plumps and smoothes the lines of my undereye area. I apply generously 10-15mins before makeup, and let it absorbe. It makes it a visible difference almost immediately and seems to help with the skin appearance in the mid-long term. It contains some retinol (not sure how much), but it is gentle enough for the delicate skin around the eyes. I find that if I apply it on the eyelid too close to the lashline, it eventually goes into the eyes (and it stings!), so I keep a safe distance.manuela.g
I've just received the cream, and I applied it in the morning after exfoliating my face and putting on a water-based toner. Pros: -The cream feels pretty lightweight on the skin, seems that it can be suitable for oily skin -Usually it is recommended that Retinol should not be used in the day, but with an SPF30, it seems that this can be used in daytime as well. -Fragrance is not too strong, and smells rather refreshing Cons: -There isn't any information on how strong the % of Retinol is in the formula, but I'm guessing that the % is quite low, as it did not mention Retinol at all other than the product name. -If you want to put other skincare products or makeup over this cream, you have to do it immediately after you apply this cream, or not there will be bits all over your face. I'm pretty sure that this is due to the film that the product forms on your face after it settled to protect the moisture in your skin or to protect your skin from the UV light, coz I find that many other sunscreen also has this problem. -People with sensitive skin should still try a bit on a small part of your skin (perhaps not your face) first before you try out this product. -People who dislike fragrance could find having a fragrance a con -I didn't put this product too near my eyes, so I don't find the product sting. I do not usually leave reviews but I hope this can help someone. I am 33 years old and have been using this product for about 2 years (along with the night cream) and have seen wonders. I broke out super bad 2 years ago (first time this happened but I think it was my makeup products) and tried several products but nothing seemed to work. I purchased an acne product, which seemed to work but was leaving my face super dried. After researching and in addition to my acne products, I decided to purchase the ROC day cream, ROC night cream, ROC eye cream and a Vitamin C Serum and all I receive are compliments of my skin. I have not changed my skin regime since. This moistures my skin very well, leaves it soft and is also delaying any visible signs of aging. BUT, you must be consistent. I have not missed a day/night routine and I truly believe this is what has helped. You cannot test it for a week and expect immediate results. It took about 3 months for my face to clear up and finally glow again but I am so so so glad I did not stop. These creams last me a few months so it's a great price for a great product. Love this vitamin c serum. Firstly the smell is divine and secondly it’s such a great texture/consistency for summer. I tend to use a vit c oil in the autumn/winter but as I have greasy skin I like to use something lighter in the summer months. I got a sample of this in a gift box and was a bit wary of trying it because my skin can be sensitive and has reacted to other Vit C products. However I've had no problems with this and it does noticably brighten my skin and help with uneven colouring. Used under a tinted moisturiser it gives a lovely glow without making me look shiny, a problem I've had with other products that claim to give a glow. The smell is gorgeous, maybe a minor consideration for some but I can't stand stuff on my face that I don't like the smell of. After months of diligent internet research, I finally decided to try the Hero Cosmetics Clear Collective line. I purchased the jelly cleanser, toner, capsule toner, and lightning wand. I've never had problem skin – occasionally a tad oily but not usually one to break out severely. I purchased this product mid February and finally made the decision to return it back to Ulta. I've never had a set of products just completely mess with my skin. After a weeks worth of usage I started breaking out in a ton of "white heads" which I was told was just my skin being purged. I gave the products more time and it's just gotten to the point where my skin is red, broken out in acne, and uneven. The before picture of me smiling is what my skin looked like before I tried any Hero cosmetics products – the other side profiles are what my skin looked like afterwords. SO hear me out: This is the holy grail of my skin care routine! I use the capsule toner, the face washes (I prefer the exfoliating jelly one), all the mighty patches, the rescue balm (OG > red correct). I have also been using the Pimple Correct, and don't get me wrong, I like it. HOWEVER…the lightning wand does it all for me. It calms down my angry pimples, and it treats my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and it helps my pimples heal faster. I think my skin just likes the actives in this product a lot: Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, and Vitamin C. I highly recommend trying it out for people that haven't had much success with having their active pimples calm down!
I received a trial size in my Allure beauty box. I had never heard of this brand and probably wouldn't have ever tried it. But, I figured if Allure approved it, it must not be too bad. I don't have acne or scarring, but I am getting age spots. I also have a few freckles. You can't really notice my freckles unless you're close to me. Anyway I started using this on both my age spots and freckles. My age spots happen to be on my jawline. So I basically just rolled it from my temple on my cheek above my jaw to my nose. After about a week, I was actually surprised to notice my age spots were actually lighter. I continued to use it and after about two weeks, the dark spots and freckles both on whole area where I was applying it were lighter. It almost looked like I had highlighted that area of my face. As an adult acne suffer periodically, I noticed that it calmed and helped to heal my skin refining the pores and honestly, I haven't had a break out since I started using it. Oh how I love this night cream. As for application: after cleansing with my stone crop cleanser, I spritz a little of the chamomile tonique or stone crop mist into my hands and then pat into my face. It's not as thick as the daytime version with SPF, so, it will spread a little easier. I "dot" the moisturizer in areas on my face, and then blend in. It feels sooooo good on my skin! Since I have only been using this product a short time, I'm not sure how long it'll take to see the 'brightening' difference. I bought also recently some go pute retinol cream and retinal serum . I wore a mask for 8 hrs a day and developed some nasty acne . I then switch to the go pure vitamin C products and had to continue to ware a mask and totally cleared up the acne . Now I only use the vitamin C pure product. And my skin looks and feels much better . Perhaps I was not a good candidate for the retinol but I blame it on the mask as my nurses college are experiencing acne from waring mask also . I only got the acne waring a mask with the retinol line. Now all is well with the vitamin C product with or with out the maskfrance e.
I love this cleanser. I use it every night. This has help my complexion and the acne I use to get I no longer do. What I loved the most is the quality and price. However I recently placed an order on 11/28/21 and received it yesterday. When I placed the order I was ordering the original packaging where the bottle was a 6 oz bottle. But for some reason I received this new packaging of 4.3 oz. I wish I could have received what I was ordering before they decided to change the packaging. I will continue to buy because I love the product; however I believe they should have kept the original bottle, and if your now selling less quantity at least adjust the price. I just started using the Vitamin C cleanser, even though I started with the Actives serums about 2 months ago. I've been seeing good results with them, and started with the cleanser to be using the whole line together. I wear IT Cosmetics CC+ foundation and it provides medium coverage. Usually I have to take it off with something else, and then cleanse my skin. Tonight I tried using the Vitamin C cleanser without taking off my foundation first. This cleanser took off 99% of my makeup (foundation and mascara) with using it on a washcloth. I followed it with my usual follow-up of micellar water on cotton pads. Hardly a trace of makeup left on my face at all! That's better than using a makeup remover for an all day foundation, cleaning my face with another cleanser and then, micellar water on pads! My face was soft and no stripped feeling. The price is very reasonable for this cleanser, considering that for me it's taking the place of 3 different products. This is a great product for assisting to protect the skin from environmental fluctuations that can impact dry, sensitive skin. Pumps in general can be challenging to use in most skincare brands. An easy trick that works is to take the bottle in one hand and firmly bring down several times into the palm of the hand. Then pump a few times. This style pump Is used to ensure the efficacy of the ingredients stay potent. Most usually this may be the only time needed to work the pump this way. Best Vitamin C serum I have ever used! 🤩 Lightly scented, super fast absorbing composition (which I live for!), non sticky, non toxic, complete benefits for my super sensitive (acne-prone) skin. It’s very gentle, however the quality of the ingredients suits my frequent everyday usage. Packaging is the cutest as always with Mad Hippie 🥰 It’s been my second bottle and this size lasted me for almost 10 months, so that’s perfect! I am in my 30s and I have acne prone skin. I have been using the mad hippie vitamin C serum for one year already. I really like it because it absorbs quickly and does not cause acne on my skin. It is very gentle. Before trying my DP, I tried to use a vitamin C serum from a more expensive brand but Mad hippie is so much better. The other brand just gave me acne and they had to visit a dermatologist. But with mad hippie I never had skin problems. I like the fact that this serum already contains hyaluronic acid. With one year of use, my skin is so much better. My face feels smooth and my complexion is even. I don’t have dark spots. I am so satisfied with mad hippie that I will stick to this brand I will no longer try other vitamin C serum‘s because this one is the best for me. I also like the mild scent of the serum. I really wanted to love this as a less expensive alternative to my beloved Drunk Elephant vitamin c serum. I used up two entire bottles and just couldn't love it. The serum never completely dried down and stayed tacky on my face. The stickiness is not ideal for an AM serum that I apply before my SPF and makeup. Also, this tended to pill under my go-to daily Cerave ultra light SPF. After two entire bottles, I did not notice the glowy, brightened, and more even complexion I have come to love using the DE serum. And I found that – even using half a pipette each day – I went through a single bottle in just over a month. One bottle of my beloved DE serum tends to last me a little over three months. I feel like I am taking crazy pills! Most of the reviewers for this product say it made their skin smooth and clear and bright, and very quickly, too. I had the opposite experience. I've been using it for three weeks and see no positive changes in my skin. It stings a little when I apply it, and dries to a sticky/tacky feeling on my skin. It has caused redness, irritation, and pimples. I've tried using less of it, but wanted to use it regularly for three weeks to give it enough time to work in case my skin was just purging or acclimating to the new product. I am so happy that I started using the L'Oreal Paris revitalift derm intensives. I love how this serum feels on my skin. It absorbs very quickly and I really love that it helps even skin tone and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. The ingredients of this product is insane it has 10% pure glycolic acid which helps with skin concerns I also like that it has aloe to Sooth the skin especially after being all day in the Sun applying this at night just feel so cooling and refreshing. I was able to try No7 Laboratories Dark Spot Corrector Booster Serum thanks to a free sample from PinchMe, and I have been pleasantly surprised with the results. Before I begin I would like to state that this is an over the counter item, not RX, and not from a plastic surgeon so I wasn't expecting a whole new face. With that being said, the results I had were right in line with the product claims. I was absouletly thrilled to try this product because I have some sun damage on my forehead especially from being stupid in my 20s and not using SPF and laying in tanning beds. l have grown used to using concealer, foundation and powder to cover the mess, but always regret my bad decisions from my 20s in the morning/night when I'm make-up free, so I used the Dark Spot Corrector Serum as directed for 30 days. It was super easy to apply and didn't leave my face feeling sticky, oily or uncomfortable on my skin. The product absorbs quickly and has a very light, clean scent. It was very easy for me to incorporate this serum into my skin care routine as well. I started seeing a slight change of the discoloration at about 2 weeks (a 10-15% change). At 30 days, I would say that there has been a 40-50% improvement in my dark spots. To me, this is quite a big change and I'm very pleased with the results. I haven't had to load on as much make-up and I'm not scaring myself as much when I wash the make-up off. For the price, I would say that this product is great! It did work for me, and I'm happy I don't have to shell out $500+ to get this problem fixed at the dermatologist. I was trying to find a targeted product and wasn’t hopeful after the reviews. I asked in store and was advised it would take two weeks before any difference, to pat it in and wait a minute before moisturising and to use twice a day. Nothing until today when I did a double take in the mirror and thought maybe I’d slept in concealer – there is a noticeable difference compared to day one. Still visible but no longer blurring into my eyebrow – you can see the change and reduction in intensity. After 1 month of use, I do actually see an improvement on the discoloration on my forehead. I have to use less make-up as well. I would say that there is at least a 35%-40% improvement. To me this is a huge improvement, especially considering this product is easy to purchase (for everyone) and doesn't come with a huge price tag like some alternatives. I didn't have any issues with skin sensitivity either while using this product either. I do reccomend No7 Laboratories Dark Spot Correcting Booster Serum if you have minor to medium skin discoloration. It's worth a try to see if it works for you as well as it did me!

I absolutely love this face oil. It's the part of my morning & nighttime skincare routines/rituals/insert your favorite buzz word. The smell is divine, the feel is like liquid silk. This product is amazing! I was always hesitant in using an oil in my skincare regime but thankfully I have overcome that beauty stigma. The Extra face oil has done wonders for my skin. The Extra face oil is a dry oil, light weight and non-greasy. This product instantly absorbs into the skin. It smells like a spa day and I love using this product for a gentle face massage. I use this oil in my nightly routine usually about twice a week or on days I feel my skin just needs some extra care. This oil is also stunning over makeup. I have been using Bobbi Brown makeup forever but only got into the skincare range this year and I think everyone around me has seen how much my skin has changed. This oil is defiantly my favourite, I was scared of oils for a long time as my skin is prone to breakouts, if anything this oil helped stop them all together. I put this oil on once or twice a day as a final step. It feels and smells so good! Is amazing under makeup too. The only down side is the packaging unfortunately! It's such a cute glass bottle but it leaves oil all under the lid and everywhere really and leads to a bit of products being lost. It really needs a dropper or something. I love Jack Black products and use way to many of them! I saw someone else mention travel sizes and you responded that there is a 3oz tube. I travel almost every week for 1 to 2 nights and I am carry on only. This means that I am limited to one ziploc bag so fitting all the JB products I use, plus the rest, even in a 3oz size is simply not possible. I also try to reduce my plastic usage wherever possible, so while I kind of live off the samples (and often time orders to so I can get larger samples of things I use anyway, I hate doing that. Ideally you would have smaller, refillable containers that could be used for a variety of different products. I would actually pay good money for that. I've tried using old contact lens cases but that's not ideal because I think too much air gets in and the product degrades.Joshua
I love this face wash in combination with the clean break oil free moisturizer. I have SUPER sensitive skin, everything I try is either too strong and irritates my skin or is not strong enough. I was on the hunt for a face wash and stumbled across this . I know it's supposed to be for men but this is the perfect face wash for my adult acne . I lather it up as a face wash rubbing it in circular motions for a minute then as it starts to dry up on my face I add a little more to use it as a mask and leave it for 5 minutes. I then apply the clean break moisturizer, with this moisturizer I like that it's light and my skin quickly soaks it up. It does not leave any kind of greasy film. Within the past week of using both products my face has quickly cleared up and my makeup is applying perfectly . I am also realizing that my makeup is lasting longer and not getting greasy as fast as it would . I will say I am getting a few small pimples as this face wash is cleaning the gunk out of my pores but just as they come they are quickly going away . Something that doubles as a cleanser AND a face mask? That's killing two birds with one stone. This doesn't have a very strong scent in my opinion and it has the texture of a clay mask when you squeeze it out. Of course, you can use it as such (a clay mask) OR it can be a cleanser. As a clay mask you'd obviously apply it straight away. As a cleanser I discovered that it can be lathered up (I originally did not know it could lather) and I prefer using it in this way when I want to use it as a cleanser. I really appreciate the ingredients list. It contains Kaolin clay which I imagine helps with sucking out the dirt from pores. I also like that it contains glycolic acid which is great for chemical exfoliation. For those not familiar, please don't freak out about "chemical" exfoliation! It's perfectly good for your skin so long as its not too concentrated, which I'm sure it isn't since this is a daily fave wash. My skin would feel a bit dry after using this so just make sure to moisturize after! Overall I do like this product and feel as though it cleanses my face well, but I don't think it's the best cleanser EVER or anything. I also wish it were a bit cheaper :/Alls

Caution: gen up on Retinol online before using this product. Also, putting hyaluronic acid on skin that is very dry can have destructive effects, especially if youre in a dry environment as it can draw moisture FROM deeper in the skin instead of to it which can be disastrous – be sure to follow up with a good moisturiser on top to avoid this. I may be one of the unlucky minority but Im not alone. I applied this cream morning and night, after a few days my skin turned red, blotchy and extremely dry. It hurt to touch, the skin was uncomfortably tight and my wrinkles were much worse. It felt somewhat like a burn. I stopped use immediately and bought healing cream which I applied day and night, several weeks later my face has improved but has not returned to normal, it is very sensitive now. Faint blotches remain, spiderveins have appeared on my face that I didnt have before and wrinkles are worse than before I tried the RoC cream. I didnt have particularly sensitive skin before. I wish somebody had advised me, Im now facing months of expensive treatments to fix the damage. Thats hoping it can be fixed. If this is your first retinol/hyaluronic product, then start slowly applying 3 times a week rather than twice a day like I did and please follow the cautionary advice above. I like that this product is made affordable for ALL at 19.96 ! RoC is the pioneers in retinol formulas! Making the first stable retinol! It's science backed and it truly works!! This has retinol and hyaluronic acid to plump and instantly hydrate while the retinol reduces the wrinkles over time. I saw true results in my fine lines and wrinkles within 4 weeks! This is an advanced retinol formula so I wouldn't recommend for anyone sensitive to retinol. They do have a formula for people with sensitivity. #RoC my only complaint with this product is the packaging! As you can see in the video as soon as you open the tube the product starts coming out causing product waste and the product while capped fills the lid causing product waste!! It also makes it a headache to apply having to cap and uncap repeatedly! I have tried other wrinkle repair products, very high end but I always come back to the product I see actual results with! I'm a RoC fan for life!

In comparison to other name brands like derma—— and mu—, pricey brands that I have used for a long time, this one is considerably less costly and doesn't take too long to work. Keep in mind that nothing works instantly and everyone will react differently. For my super sun damaged asian face, this has worked quite well. You'll definitely HAVE to use sunscreen religiously when going outside since this does feel like it makes my skin more sensitive and probably would ruin whatever results you have achieved. I used this once in the morning followed by sunscreen and once at night followed by a night creme with retinol in it. Make sure you let the differin dry before applying anything else!Misa
I was excited to try this Differin Dark Spot Correcting Face Serum because I have a lot of post acne marks that I would like to fade faster. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to this product and I'm not sure if it is the Niacinamide or another ingredient. I applied this product before bed and awoke the next morning to very red patches in the exact spots that I applied the serum. Even after washing off my face, the redness lasted for the entire day and even slightly red the next day. Perhaps it would be fine to apply to a very tiny spot but I do not feel comfortable applying this to my face. I might have had a unique reaction, but it seems a few other reviewers had similar experiences. If you intend on using this product, I definitely recommend starting with a small spot as a test to see how you tolerate it prior to applying to larger areas.aiman.k
This works very well, but it does take a while. For the past four months, I have been using this product daily after I wash with a PHA or salicylic acid-containing cleanser. I apply a thin layer just to the hyperpigmented areas on my face, chest, shoulders, and forearms. I also sometimes use this in conjunction with a vitamin C serum all over. And I moisturize daily as well with both a cream and rose water spray. I wish I had taken a before picture, because the hyperpigmented areas have lightened significantly. Even coworkers have mentioned my skin looks better and asked me what I was using. And I had not even told anyone other than my husband that I was treating my skin with anything. I have experienced no complications from using this product, such as uneven skin tone. My natural skin tone is light to medium with neutral to warm undertones. I definitely recommend this product, especially given the low price in comparison to the results delivered. You do have to be patient though. Also, one container lasted me four months with application to several areas of the body. All around a great product!Chelz
