I bought this because I've been through a few bottles of the Paula's Choice 2% BHA and wanted to find something same-same-but-different. So far, I strongly prefer this!! My least favorite thing about the PC product is how much of a residue there is, I'd compare the feeling to that of a body dry oil. It's so present that my normal-dry skin can forgo moisturizer afterwards in the summertime. The Farmacy product is just like a standard watery toner, so there's absolutely zero residue, which I LOVE. It also smells really nice (kind of like a herbal papaya? but not exactly sweet/fruity) even though it doesn't have added fragrance. As for effects, I wasn't sure this product was actually doing anything until a couple of days ago where I laid off for a few days in preparation for a once-in-a-while AHA/BHA mask. Let's just say it was obvious that the product was keeping sebaceous filaments and blackheads at bay. Since resuming using it again, they're gone again. My one problem with this product is that it is so watery that a cotton pad is really kind of necessary, and I'm someone who likes to use my hands for all of my skincare steps so that I don't waste product. As such, I feel like I'm going through the bottle rather fast. To mitigate this I've been using the cotton pad on my chest, KP areas, and even behind my ears so that it goes as far as possible. This toner has changed my skin. I have bought it 3 or 4 times now and I can safely say it has improved my skin a lot. I used to have lots of little bumps all over my forehead and this has cleared most of them away. The toner is quite expensive so I prefer to tap it directly onto my skin and rub it in rather than waste it on a cotton pad. I actually use another less expensive toner first and put that on a cotton pad and to remove any debris, then I use this on top so it can really sink into the skin. I think this toner works really well because this brand is doesn't add nasty chemicals into their formulas. It also smells lovely and the packing is gorgeous. I always feel good when I used it. I received this product complimentary from Topbox to review. I have to be honest I was really nervous to try this product and the word "astringent" was the main offender. I have combo oily sensitive and the thing that my skin seems to dislike the most is astringent. Astringents and acidic toners really irritate my skin to the point where I get a slight burning feeling for hours. I am pleased to report that I didn't have that experience with this product, The Effaclar Astringent Lotion was really gentle on my skin. It almost felt like water. After the first use, my skin looked and felt hydrated. One of the claims of the product was that it reduces the appearance of pores and removes blockages. I didn't get any breakouts while using this product (which is always a good thing), but I also didn't notice any differences in my pore size. The pores around my nose and chin are the most noticeable and they appeared the same size after several days of use. That being said I still like this product. It's gentle and I felt that helped to keep my pores clean. I've been using this product for two weeks now to get a good test out of it for this review, I absolutely love it and would buy more. It's definitely effective, gets all the dirt and oils off my face for a clean base. There's no strong fragrance to it which makes me trust it to put it on my face considering I do have occasional breakouts. It does not irritate it whatsoever and I find it supports to bring down my heavy breakouts and evenly tones my skin in almost what seems to brighten it as well. It also isn't over drying at all! Some of these these reviews make me laugh. "I used once and I broke out" OR "I used for a week and I broke out" these people do not know how to introduce skincare into their regimen. This is why I take many reviews lightly on products. I am aware that everyone's skin is different. But EVERYONE knows to slowly introduce a new skin care product slowly into their regimen. I have noticeable acne scarring (dark spots and a few pitted scars). I have tried an INSANE number of products, I mean literally I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on products targeted for dark spots, resurfacing, and acne treatment & prevention. This product is one i picked up on a whim, and actually kept under my bathroom sink for a month or two before I even tried it (since I had so many other products to try first that to me seemed more promising). Eventually I made my way to this toner, and honestly the first time I used it, it burned like crazy. To be fair, I had been using a ton of other exfoliating-type products prior to this so my skin was already hypersensitive. I put the toner away for another week or two and focused on restoring my skin's biome, and when it didn't feel super red and hypersensitive anymore, I came back to this toner. This time, it still burned a bit in certain spots (namely where I had active blemishes), but I persisted. I used this twice a day for the past 2-3 weeks and OMG, my face looks insanely GOOD!!! I have absolutely NO visible pores, my dark spots have lightened up SIGNIFICANTLY, and for the first time in forever, I actually have a smooth glow to my skin and feel confident enough to be seen without full coverage foundation. I think generally people try to avoid talking about the serious toll dark spots can take on a person's self-esteem, and the lengths we will go to in order to avoid anyone else ever seeing them. But it can be pretty damaging mentally and emotionally! This is the very first product of several hundred targeted products I've tried (literally!) that has actually made such an improvement that I can honestly say it has been life-changing. While I used a gift card to purchase this tonic, these are my honest opinions. Details: This tonic is a liquid exfoliator formulated with fruit AHAs niacinamide, Japanese mugwort & wild rose. Designed to event both texture & skin tone as well as calm & leave your skin smooth. Recommended for combination or oily skin. Liquid exfoliation is gentle & removes dead skin cells to help with congested pores. In addition to the above, the tonic has the scent of the sweet fennel & rosemary oil to minimize excess sebum & oil creation while it boosts your mood. This is a cruelty-free product My experience: For reference, I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin with some redness & sensitivity. This is a yellow, watery tonic that removes dead skin cells, oil, & dirt as well as unclogs pores. It has a lovely scent that isn’t too strong. I’ve been using this since 1/17 & my sensitive skin hasn’t experienced any irritation. I do take care not to use it when I’m using retinol. My skin is more even & smooth with a healthy glow. This doesn’t dry out my skin luckily nor does it leave a sticky/oily residue. This is my second bottle and I won’t ever be without it! I battle bouts of hormonal acne thanks to PCOS so I always seem to have congested skin no matter what I do (I’ve tried everything including a variety of medical interventions!). I noticed quite a drastic improvement 3-4 weeks after commencing use – my redness was minimised to just my nose (normally spread across my whole T-section and cheeks) and my skin was so much smoother! Three months after starting use I noticed that my breakouts were far less severe and reduced to only 1 or 2 spots. I’m a huge fan of Tatcha products but this one is my absolute favourite. Contrary to directions, I use it twice a day directly after cleansing, and I apply a generous splash in my palms directly to my face (just like applying an essence and patting in gently) rather than losing product on a cotton pad. I like this exfoliating toner a lot, as it definitely works, yet is still gentle enough that it would be an ideal starting point for anyone looking to try out/begin using chemical exfoliants in their skincare routine, or for when you want to help prevent congestion. Despite applying this immediately after cleansing (which is when you should apply a liquid exfoliant and/or toner), I did find that it took a while to sink in fully, which I suspect is due to the various plant oils included in the ingredients – it's not necessarily a bad thing, since the oils can help offset dryness caused by the acids, but conversely, they can also be irritants on some skin (particularly those sensitive to essential oils). It's not a deal breaker, especially since it didn't cause any subsequent absorption issues with any of the products I applied afterwards, but still worth noting. If you like to use multiple products afterwards, definitely give them time to sink in to avoid pilling. I think this will be more useful in warmer weather at reducing oil, and it does help a bit in evening out skin. Definitely depends on your skin type and the climate. I love this product! I use it almost every day to clean my skin before any application. It works great to remove makeup and any harshness left on my skin! This product is good for the pores and removes most of the excess oil that my face creates. I have awful combination skin, especially around my nose. I also hear that witch hazel can reduce varicose veins so might start applying this product to my legs to see if this is true or not. You never know! I have found that this product is just great for my skin. No harshness or issues.
I love this facial toner for my skin. I like how it’s not oily, not overpowering, doesn’t irritate the skin. Very good product for sensitive skin. I also love after my face is done from wash, when I put it on my cotton ball and lather on my face, it makes my skin feel so fresh, awake and a glow. I have not had any breakouts as I have them crazy. It’s one of my favorites and I will continue to repurchase.yessy .p
It really isn't bad as far as witch hazel goes. Personally I don't like the smell of unscented witch hazel so I would add some lavender or rose to it if I were going to buy it. My only real issue with it is the price. I've bought other brands of witch hazel (unscented & scented) for up to $4 less. I'm not sure "organic" makes this worth $4 more. But I may try one of their scented variations before making up my mind!

I received this toner in my fabfitfun box and I am very happy to say I have repurchased this toner 4 times since then. I had never heard of Skin and Co. before receiving that product but once I tried it my skin completely changed. I am 21 years old and I have oily and clogged skin. This toner makes my complexion even, takes care of minor breakouts I have, reduces redness, and so much more. I love that it also has antiseptic properties and if I feel I need to I can give my skin a quick cleans with just the toner. I love and talk about this product so much that 4 other people have started using this toner and are in love with it as well. Do yourself a favor and buy this product.
Please note that I have the sample size (30ML) SKINCO ROMA Truffle Therapy Face Toner, that I received in my April 2017 Ipsy glambag. I have never heard of this brand before and this will be my first time trying a product from them. There’s not much information on them, within their website other than where the ingredients are from and formulated to help keep your skin healthy. I am very into how this brand is vegan, gmo, gluten, cruelty free, and etc. Overall the product is my first time trying toner, I haven’t been into toners before. My usual skin care routine is face mask, exfoliate, cleanser, and moisturizer. My daily skin care has advanced since using this toner, I have incorporated trying different toners into my daily routine. I like how this product doesn’t have a strong aroma, I expected it to because that’s how I saw toner as and I don’t like strong smells. The product is light on my skin and doesn’t make it feel dry once applied. I like how the results overtime, my skin has more glow to it and feels extra soft. I was really excited to receive this toner in my Causebox. My mistake: I did not really understand the intended purpose of this toner. I figured “truffle therapy” meant it would be a nourishing toner…I was wrong. This is more of an exfoliating toner, and I was using it way more than I should have, which was making my skin SO dry. I have stopped using it daily and using it more as an exfoliating/purifying toner. I’m not very impressed. It’s fine. This is advertised as part cleanser and I don’t think my skin would handle that (see it drying my skin a TON). Lesson learned: when you get a product in a subscription box, don’t use it blindly. I have never really had severe skin issues, although as I have gotten older, I now experience PMS induced breakouts and have been combatting the mask-acne, like many others. The raspberry vinegar toner has helped keep all of these breakouts at bay! I have been truly amazed. My skin feels more moisturized, but not oily at all, perhaps "dewy" is the word? It is super convenient for a quick refresh after workouts also! I love the smell, very refreshing! I do use the turmeric stick on trouble spots over night, and this also seems to help with break outs. I do have a suggestion- I would love to see a return/ refill program/option. I bought this toner maybe 3 weeks ago, and know I will be purchasing more. I plan to make use of the current bottle after it is empty, but know I will amass many of these going forward, and have been trying to cut down waste. I've been using this on my chest for acne and on my scalp every other day. I'm not sure how much of a difference it's making for my acne since I've been using the Probiotic Acne Serum as well, but my scalp LOVES this toner. I have an oily scalp that gets itchy if I don't wash it everyday, but my hair gets so dry if I shampoo everyday. Using this doesn't get rid of oil as much as a dry shampoo, but it cleans my scalp enough to keep it from itching and the rest of my hair has gotten softer too! I have many different Cocokind products. I love them all. I hadnt tried this product yet. My skin is normally free from blemishes. But, i still wanted to try it. Im so glad that i did. I found some different ways to use the raspberry vinegar tonic. I tend to get heat rash. Heat rash can be uncomfortable and itchy. I sprayed this toner on my heat rash. As a woman in her 30s, I'm always interested to try products that promote a poreless visage. Pore Vanish technology? Sign me up! I've been using this toner both morning and evening after washing my face for little over two weeks, and unfortunately my pores are definitely still there. They haven't vanished, and I'd need a photographer/examiner with much more skill and objectivity to help me decipher whether they've shrunk at all or not. However, that's not to say I didn't see any benefits while using this toner. First, I have extremely sensitive skin and a lot of products I've tried before have irritated my skin; this toner didn't bother my skin in the slightest. Plus, I'm not sure which demigod-of-the-wind-and-sea decided giving a woman in her 30s pimples AND wrinkles simultaneously was an appropriate punishment, but using this toner regularly has helped me fight off the former, for which I am grateful. After applying, my skin feels clean but not too tight, and the rest of my skin care routine absorbs uniformly. The cruelty-free, planet-friendly aspect is also a big plus, as I'm always looking to trade sketchily produced skincare products for a smarter alternative. Overall, I plan on keeping this toner as a part of my daily routine for the near future, and I'm definitely grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to review it. I liked the way this toner worked. I’ve been using it for close to a month now both morning and evenings. I’ve liked that the product does not dry out my skin or make it oily. Since using the toner, my face feels much smoother and more moisturized. While I don’t feel like I had really large pores to begin with, I have noticed the appearance of my pores has become less noticeable. Even though this toner is supposed to be fragrance free, it has a bit of a smell to it, which I can’t quite compare It to anything, but it does not linger long. I’m sensitive to really strong odors so this was an important factor to me. Another important factor to me is Cruelty-Free products. I’m glad to see this one is not tested on animals, and as an added plus it’s also vegan! One of my favorite things, other than the way this product makes my skin feel, is that you get a large bottle of product, so it last a while. Even after a month of use, I still have almost a full bottle. I’d recommend this product for anyone that wants a smoother complexion and a reduction in the appearance of their pores. I’m usually immediately skeptical of skincare products as I’ve become very picky about ingredients over the years, so I was very happy to see this toner doesn’t contain any fragrance, SLS, parabens, propylene glycol, or denatured alcohol. Most of the ingredients earn a low (the lower the better!) score of 1 or 2 on the EWG Skin Deep database – which makes me feel good about using this twice daily as part of my skin care routine. And while this does contain witch hazel (which is usually too drying for my skin) – I think the drying effect must be countered by the glycerin and moisturizing fruit and rose extracts as my skin never felt “tight” after applying it, which is great because the older I get the more moisture my skin needs! I also struggle with hormonal acne and I was happy to note that this toner never stung or burned if applied over broken skin. I do think I’ll have to use it longer (probably 3-6 months of regular use) to see if it really helps improve my skin texture or areas of hyperpigmentation. I’ve been using it for almost a month now and I can’t say I see any difference with my pore size or areas of uneven skin tone. That said, I’m a big fan of niacinamide in skin care products, so I have high hopes for this one since niacinamide is the second ingredient listed.. I think I could even give this five stars if it did not contain the witch hazel, the polysorbate 20, and the PEG-40. Overall I was surprised by how much my sensitive skin liked this and by how long the bottle is going to last – a little bit goes a long way!Alissa

I love this toner! I’ve previously been turned away from toners because so many of them market themselves as exfoliators or an extra cleanse, but once I got this one, I can’t do my skincare routine without it! This toner markets itself as a 2-in-1, softening and hydrating the skin. The formula is a thin, watery consistency that I find soaks into the skin immediately. I pour a small amount into my hands and rub / pat the product into my skin. It layers well with other serums and moisturizers. Some reviews will say it leaves a tacky or oily residue, but I’ve never experienced this and actually love the way it makes my skin look and feel. After consistent use, this product has completely changed the way my skin looks and feels and I don’t go a morning or night without using it. What really sold me was when I layered this with my retinol and then my AHA/BHA serum. This toner provided the perfect base for more abrasive/irritating skincare products (truly changed the game for me!). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, but especially those with dry skin. The laneige Cream Skin toner moisturizer is another thing I’ve added to my routine with the colder weather here, and I’ve been nothing but impressed so far! ☁️ HOW IT WORKS ☁️ 🍵 White Tea Leaf Water: specialized tea leaves grown in the shade for most of their life cycle and harvested annually, to increase the amino acid composition. This is a natural defence for tea leaves in response to decreased exposure to sunlight, but now to the interesting part… 🍦Cream blending technology: chemically impressive af, Laneige accomplished something that’s scientifically quite a challenge. Toners usually contain ingredients that are humectants (retain moisture, almost always water soluble) while moisturizers usually contain emollients (prevent moisture evaporation, biphase solution of oily and watery phase made homogeneous through emulsification). Getting a biphase solution to look and feel the same, instead of the heterogeneous example in my stories, usually involves a thickening effect; hence why moisturizers are a lot thicker than single phase solutions like toners. So how did they achieve this while keeping the watery texture? Turnin up the pressure babyyyyy. No literally, I’m talking like PSI. Using a high-pressure blending process to break down the oil into the tinniest of units, so that it can be immersed into the watery phase without separation. The result is a light formula that quickly absorbs hydration into the skin, with long-lasting moisture. Because of my combination skin, if I used as a moisturizer or as a one and only product after cleansing my face, I found it to be to rich and slightly greasy. It does form a slight film on the skin so personally I don’t find that it works best to use right after cleaning your face. I would recommend more for those with dry and dehydrated skin or those who live in colder climates, because of how rich this feels on the skin. From someone who had no idea where to start with a skin care routine, cocokind saved me! The rosewater toner balances my skin in the most amazing way. I have combo skin – sometimes oily but almost always super dry. This rosewater toner works wonder to help with both. Keeps me hydrated and helps tone down an oiliness. I am a huge fan of the properties of rose water. My favorite, which was made from Bulgarian roses, used to cost me about $32 but that price was getting a little too pricey. Cocokind's formula is the same quality but at a price I can afford even with Bulgarian roses! When I was getting near to running out, I even ordered the jumbo rosewater toner to keep refilling this bottle. I also appreciate the company for being transparent about carbon emissions and putting those calculations on the product packaging. My skin looks so healthy and happy when I use it. It also is great to spritz on my scalp between shampoo days so my hair doesn't look oily. Overall, I love this rosewater toner. It has become a must for me!Joshlyn T.
I love this product. I use it every morning and night as a second cleanser after washing my face. It’s gentle and I love the smell. I usually need a bit more product sprayed onto the reusable cotton pads from Cocokind if I’m using those, but the eco-friendly aspect is worth it. I can tell (visibly!) that it wipes off some dirt and oil that my face washing missed. I also use it occasionally to set my makeup, or for a midday refresher. I used to love the dermatologica products as they were always recommended for my mildly sensitive skin (nt: I can still use drug store products so I’m not super sensitive). This toner burns within 2-3 seconds of it being on my face and I end up with red blotches so I’m unable to use it at all. Initially I thought it was maybe an interaction with my moisturiser, so swapped that out but no luck. Dermalogica is the brand that I was first introduced to in 2004 years when I started taking care of my skin. I used this toner for years!! I didn’t branch out and try anything else. Lol At the time I had very oily, acneic skin and it worked great. I still use this (along with other timers on and off) today and have sensitive, combo toward dry, rosacea skin and it works great. It worked for both skin types. It does have a fragrance but never bothered me. I love the scent. It sprays out nicely, but you can also spray it onto a cotton or reusable pad. I love this astringent. It's the only thing that makes my face feel clean. Unfortunately for some reason they've stopped carrying this in my local Walmarts. I tried a few other things my store had, but nothing came close to making my face feel as clean as this does. On a whim I checked Amazon for it, and found it cheaper there, so it worked in my favor! At the time I'm writing this you can get this on Amazon for around $4, and a lot of the time they'll have a coupon for even more money off. And free shipping. I purchase this for my son who has acne. He uses the clean and Clear astringent after he washes his face with a prescription cleanser. The cleaner does an excellent job of getting any lingering dirt off his face. Astringent does not sting and it does not dry out his skin. It must be noted that his skin is naturally very oily. The store is always out of stock so I order online. I can’t say that it clears up acne because my son uses several other products in his routine so it’s hard to pinpoint which one is responsible for clearing the acne.Nicole

This is a Changed formula for sure. I have been using this product since my pre teen years and it’s always been mild, perfect for removing full heavy makeup, it’s been amazing. I purchased this recently and the formula is watered down to the point that it gives off a “sour, mildewed towel smell”. I strongly dislike the smell now, it’s like a sour sponge. the product no longer has the same effect. There was no warning about changed formula. I purchased at different locations and online to see if it would make a difference, it has not. Terrible product now. I’m so upset. This has been my holy grail. I've been using this product for 20+ years and just like all the other reviewers, I'm extremely disappointed in the change to this product. This new formula burns my face, makes it red, smells terrible and makes my face feel horrible and dry. Changes to products go through thorough consumer testing and I'd like to know how this passed through the testing phase and into production to be sold in stores? Your response to everyone on this site for all the reviews are very templated, you should be more personalized in your approach and not just ask them to call. I am IN LOVE with this milky toner!! My face is so sensitive to products & I was nervous about trying this. In just 3 days I could see a difference! The scent is light & my skin feels so moisturized when I use it! I don't use a cotton pad. Instead, after cleansing my face I pour a dime sized amount into the palm of my hand & spead it all over my face. It doesn't irritate ANYTHING. This was first time I tried this toner though have been using the rest of the products from the "Ultra Facial" line for ages. I love the texture of it, this tones is so moisturising. In the evenings, to give my skin an extra bit of a clean, I use it with a cotton pad. In the mornings, I can just apply a little with my hands – this saves lots of the product. Great in a combination with pretty much any face cream due to its texture, I tried it with 5 or 6 – works well, no contradiction with other products! I really enjoyed using this toner as it didn't leave a sticky residue unlike many other toners I've used, and it's really light. I've been using it for around 2 months now, and my redness and acne has decreased slowly but steadily. I use this along with the COSRX good morning low Ph cleanser, Paula's choice exfoliator, and neutrogena moisturizer for extra dry skin. It includes such great ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid that just plumps, hydrates, and preps the skin for makeup. I am in love with this so far. I’ve been using it for about a week and a half and love how moisturized it makes my skin feel. I use a prescription retinol and just finished a beach vacation. Definitely have drier skin in part because of retinol. I like to apply this product to damp skin before going in with the rest of my skincare. It helps with retaining moisture so much, I love it. It does have a bit of a scent but it’s really pleasant and I find that it goes away after applying pretty quickly. This product has a nice texture that is thin enough to be a toner but not so thin that you need a cotton round to apply it. Just squeeze a bit in your hand and you don’t have to worry about it running down your arms while you’re trying to apply it. The packaging is unique, and I wish it were a bit easier to squeeze, but is really nice and very aesthetically pleasing. All in all, I’m loving this toner and will definitely buy it once I run out. I received this Fenty Skin product as a sample product as well, and this time is no different. Overview: This isn't the first Fenty Skin product I've tried and it won't be the last. Everything I've tried from Fenty is high-quality and worth every penny in my opinion. I exercise a lot and I live in Texas where it's incredibly hot, and all that sweating and heat tends to dry up my skin. I've tried many moisturizers, but this one is different, as it's not a moisturizer, it's a toner that hydrates. This has been a game changer for me. I’ve always suffered with acne & have tried so many different products & brands. I am at the end of my second bottle & have purchased 2 more. This stuff is magical I think, I have hyper sensitive skin but it doesn't get irritated in the slightest with this. I've found it helps exfoliate my skin gently and helps with dry skin. I've also noticed since starting this that my blackheads aren't as noticeable and my skin just looks and feels smoother in general. I had a bit of tingling the first time I used it but only once and no signs of irritation at all since. I feel like this has really helped the chronic dry patches I had on my eyebrows that I just couldn't get rid of, now they are barely noticeable after using this every evening.Hannah C
This is a holy grail product that answers to all of your exfoliation needs with both AHA and BHA acids. It makes everything so much easier; with this product you don't have to use e.g. glycolic acid and salicylic acid treatments on different nights. In spite of being quite strong, my skin loves this and isn't irritated by it. After using this in the evening, my skin looks amazing in the morning. I probably wouldn't recommend this people who are just getting into exfoliating acids, but using this product (which has been formulated and tested with both AHA and BHA) would likely be much better than using two different products with AHA and BHA in the same routine. If you're a beginner, try either a 5% lactic acid, 10% mandelic acid, 0,5-2% salicylic acid or something like 4% glycolic acid and work your way up before using this one. I bought this when I heard acid toners are the way to go for exfoliation and I really needed it. I had dry patches and oily skin and marks from all my teenage acne. Since Target is the closest store to me and this seemed the most affordable I just went with it. I used it consistently. About 2-3 times a week and I could really feel a difference from the first try! I didn’t notice a difference in appearance but stuck to it because my skin felt amazing but then about six months into using this a friend I hadn’t seen in months asked me if I was wearing makeup! I used to use pixi glow tonic years ago, after receiving a sample and loved it, but stopped for one reason or another. My skin has changed this year though, and I was battling with black heads and rough skin, so thought I'd gives this a try again. Goodness me!! I don't think I could ever live without it now!! My skin was so much smoother after only a couple days use and has kept those blocked pores at bay. OK I was really faithful to the old formula and very upset about the change (why do they do it!!!!) However, I finally gave the new bottle a try and boy! I was surprised!! Smell and feel — both are wonderful. It does not have the pink tint, but it feels and smells wonderfully. 3. Once it goes on your face, it is like applying a layer of raw egg white. The main reason a toner is important, is to remove any residual cleanser, and close the pores; preparing the skin to receive benefits of a skin cream.(Best always to use with pure cotton!) Many alcohol based toners only strip the skin of essential oils, thus drying it and also shocking the oil glands into producing more oil! This does not do that. This is not the same formula I have used for 25 years. My Mom used this also. Used to feel my face and neck was vibrant, plus it was a real fresh feeling. The new formula is oily, heavy feeling and I have to wipe it off, feels dirty. The new bottle is awful, cheap, and the lid with the hole is hard to use. Why change something that has worked so well for this many years.😡Now of to find another brand that feels refreshing. Don't like the smell either as I am allergic to flowery smells. Plant based skincare that is acohol-free cruelty free. My esthetician recommended this to me. I'm glad I listened to her because this refreshes, tones and hydrates my skin beautifully. It makes my skin glow my complexion radiant without oiliness heaviness. I have been using Lait Nettoyant for decades as my cleanser. I started using it when my skin was younger and pretty oily, and it was perfect then with the toner afterwards. As my skin has aged into a much dryer complexion it has remained perfect. Not sure how that works?! It removes everything, super gently, and you simply cannot beat the scent. I do use the Lotion Yon-Ka afterwards to finish, and the combo set my face perfect for anything – makeup application, sleep, whatever. Just perfect. Please don't change it!!

I have been using this toner for nearly 2 years. The moment I first used it my skin looked more hydrated and glowy. My acne was clearing up. I have used it every single morning and sometimes at night. My skin was literally the clearest it's ever been. Even if i did break out, this toner would clear it up in a couple days. I only use cerave foaming cleanser (nights only), followed by this toner, a hyaluronic acid serum, and vanicream moisturizer. Nothing changed in my routine except for when I picked up a new snail rescue toner. The packaging and ingredients slightly changed but I didn't think anything of it. Then my skin started breaking out all over. I continued my same old routine thinking it would pass. The entire month of September my skin was breaking out!! I even used extra snail toner to try and calm it down. Until I realized that it was the culprit. Whatever was changed in the formula does not agree with my skin? I have breakout prone skin that's on the more tan side…. which also means that every time a blemish stretches out my skin and shrinks back to normal later, it leaves a dark mark on my skin. it's annoying because it makes it LOOK like my skin is still troubled even if the breakout is gone. I really didn't expect that these snail products from Peach Slices would clear my skin and reduce those dark be spots THIS effectively. I thought I might see a minimal improvement, but that still would've been better than no improvement. in fact – my face looks SO MUCH BETTER that I'm upset with myself for not taking before and after pictures. I just never could've guessed! and the fact that it's only been a week BLOWS my mind! I did buy the whole set: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and intensive mask. and because of the results I'm seeing, I'll never go back to anything else! I'm just mind blown!Silkee
I was super excited to try this toner as I have been trying to incorporate snail mucin into my routine due to my winter dryness! However, I am nearly finished with the bottle and there honestly has been no difference in my skin tone or texture. Personally, I enjoy using more of a watery toner. This toner is slightly thick upon application. Although it does absorb quickly, I felt that even after my first use, my skin was left feeling even more dry. I use this toner every single day, AM and PM, and I was still noticing my skin starting to flake/dry out after usage. I'm not sure if it's just my winter skin acting up, but for this product being 97% snail mucin, I was expecting a lot more hydration! I'm disappointed snail mucin isn't working out for my skin 🙁 I rated this item 3 stars because it did leave my skin feeling refreshed which is always a plus, however it might just be too drying for me.Kati
