Best Floor Vacuum For Hardwood Floors (2025 Update)

I am a highly experienced electronic repair technician. I just rebuilt a Shark Rotator Professional lift-away vacuum. Of course users fail to replace or clean all three filters causing loss of suction. Cleaning these with warm water and dawn dish soap works best. The unit claims to have thermal monitoring protection on the brush roll base and its design is causing the complaints of failure to work on carpeting in consumer homes. There is no thermal sensor. It uses a D.C. motor to a circuit board where a series low ohm current drop resistor exists. When the motor is slowed , thwe motor draws more current which lowers the resistence in the moter resistor series circuit causing increased voltage drop on the resistor triggering the circuit and activating the motors disconnect relay turning off motor. Although it does much to protect the motor in case of armature freezing with current applied. It makes the consumer unhappy because they cant vacuum carpets as they expect to paying almost 400 dollars for this nice vacuum. The fast fix is simply taking a soldering iron and lifting on side of the feed back silicon diode and reassembling unit. Now you will find the brush roll attachment actually works and does an awesome cleaning job on any carpet. Be sure to use caution and not pick up things that will jam the brush roller and break the belt. If this happens please turn off vacuum unplug and remove obstruction from brush roller. Then plug back in and finish vacuuming. I hope this helps others, mine is now issue less and working awesome.MissTiffany2025

Okay, this vacuum cleaner is actually FUN to run! It’s lightweight and very flexible. The long wand makes getting corners, cracks and crevices a breeze. Only drawback is the base will tip over if you stretch the hose too far, so keep an eye on it as you use the wand. Cleaning stairs is easy with the “Lift Away” feature. The NV501 has strong suction and durability. Do your regular maintenance as other reviews have mentioned, and store it properly. It’s super easy to take apart when needed. I accidentally sucked up a microfiber cloth once, but was able to open the hose at the right spot and pull the cloth right out. We’ve had our NV501 for almost a decade and still no problems. Have purchased this particular model as gifts for friends and family. Highly recommended.DB

I’ve had this model for about 5 years and yes occasionally you’ll have to cut some hair off the powdered brush if you have long hair or girls around or just heavy traffic I guess but that takes literally 20 seconds. Grab a pair of scissors, cut the hair and pull it out. Any vacuum with a brush is going to eventually wrap up hair! The vacuum has one killer motor, it cleans like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’m continuously impressed by the vast amount of dander, dust, and allergens it grabs every single time! I love how the handle comes off to clean small areas such as my couch cushions, behind furniture, etc. (I have this model which cane with ALL the attachments so I may have paid a bit more but it was definitely worth it) the only other difference is the colors. Mine has dark blue where the red is shown. I absolutely love how I can detach the base when going up stairs as shown in the photo. I don’t use the tiny “car part cleaners” which also came with the bulk of attachments but I guess it’s there if I were to ever need it. My fav attachment is the smaller roller brush that literally eats every cat hair off my dining room chairs and wherever else I need it. Anyway I suppose I could go on but you get my drift. By the way of course after awhile the vacuum will accumulate dust around the base and hose (I’ve seen someone post photos here of their dirty vacuum lol) but it’s a vacuum! It’s going to get dirty! My last thought pertains to the newest model I believe, the NV1000 with the “self cleaning brush” or double brush very bulky looking one. Although I haven’t used it, I personally don’t think it is going to sell much in the end. I say that with regards to the current reviews and complaints along with the marketing aspect in mind. What I conclude is just logical: once again as long as there is a revolving brush or in this case 2 rolling brushes, in time there WILL BE a hair issue as long as there are women, girls, and pets around. I have used this little vacuum a little and was very impressed! I had previously used my Kirby vacuum in the same area a couple of days before and was amazed at how much hair and dirt was pulled up with this little stick vacuum. Don't sleep on this little monster! I have a two story house with carpet in the bedrooms (4) and in the bonus room. All other floors are hard. I also have 3 dogs that don't mind losing their hair everywhere!! I was doubtful when I took it out of the box, however to my surprise this little vacuum did it's job and did it well! I did have to empty the container more often but that just told me that it was getting what it needed to get! I can get under my couch without moving it due to the tilt function on the arm. When I take the arm off it sucks the dirt on my stairs w/ minimal effort! The only complaint I have is the battery doesn't last very long 🙁 (which is the ONLY reason I gave 4 stars) other than that don't look for anything else because you will be disappointed!Tracey

The item was bought as a gift. The first one arrived and I wrapped it and gave to my mother and when she opened it and took it out of the box, the item had been used. It was dirty and had "trash" in the suction holder. I sent it back and got another one and the suction does not pick up like the video shows. I was very disappointed in this item. I purchased it for my 73 year old mom so she would not have to bend over to sweep the dust/trash into the dust pan. I was really hoping this item would be a happy solution for not bending over but it was not.Dorie

Horribly designed product. A waste of money! I am taking time to give a review. I bought for $30 at local store. Looked great as don't have to bend to sweep. Well, the suction is a little shoot off side of broom very awkwardly placed and it only suctions if you push down really hard on the shoot and suctions only that little dime sized section at a time. IT RUINED MY FLOORING tiles PUTTING AN INDENTED DART INTO IT! THIS IS A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT. Positive: the broom sweeps like any $5 broom. DO NOT RECOMMEND! The product can be improved with suction within the actual broom section like a vacuum or finger button to suction at top with a larger suction funnel. Do Not waste your money!kelley

I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. My whole family is impressed with this product. Having lower back issues some movements are difficult but consistently bending is my pet p ! No more of that and handle is decided no loosing and slim built to put in area of houseware not bunky … there is so much more to say but I will say it is reasonable price and worth every dollar … good job to the designers ☺️gypsirulez

The Eureka NEU180 is not a safe vacuum if you try to use crevice tool with flex hose use bottom connections will knock you on your head is use from top connection handle will fall to floor and break if hard floor. Awful!!!!!Lisa Short

Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I've had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model. Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem. Thought for sure that Hoover would've gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry. Will 'gift' my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.Reenie

This is my 4th floor mate, my last one the brush would not stay attached, This one I'm having a problem with the clear cover staying on. But all in all this is a good concept for cleaning and then rinsing the floor. I wash my floor and then suck up the water, then put clean water in the tank and re rinse the floor. I have 2 old doxie who pee, and this machine really helps with the clean up. I also use it on the rubber mats at my back door during the winter and rainy season. Until summer when I can take my mates outside for a go pressure washing. The company just needs to look at a better design for the brush and now the clear cover.LINDA

I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn't get this layer of dirt off the floors. Bought this vac to try since we'd already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn't believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass. After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We'll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents. The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes. They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn't expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile. I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don't be scared by the other reviews. The vac will leak a little when water is in the cleaning container and you leave it in one spot, so if storing with water in the tank, our a towel under it.Doug

I bought this particular vacuum because I had used one at a friends's. I ordered mine on June 23rd and received it the next day! I was so excited! Three days later my friend called and said not to get the vacuum because her battery stopped charging and she had only had it for 4 months! Well, I kept mine thinking hers was a fluke but nope! After 4 1/2 months, my battery has stopped charging! I have tried to call the 1-800 number but it keeps saying "due to weather" they are closed and to call back. IF someone has any suggestions about what to do, please let me onow. I reallly liked this vacuum when it worked. Everything about was great….except now, the battery!Sad DRB in Florida

I've had many vacuums over the years and this is the worst. I extensively research items before I buy them to be sure they have the features I'm looking for, which is why I chose this product. If I could send it beck, I would. The dust cup disconnects from the handle regularly and already I've lost suction. It completely disconnects and falls apart with very little handling. It doesn't "prop up" on anything in my house like it says it should. Eureka is a good brand and I've had other stick vacs but this is awful.Jo

When I unpackaged my Eureka Rapid Clean pro, my first thought that it was too light weight and didnt look like it could handle much nor would the battery big long enough to make it around my house. I will say that I own a Kirby, Dyson, and no this Eureka so I have quite a bit to compare it to. Style wise it was similar to my Dyson V6 but not nearly as heavy. Super easy to assemble- I didnt even bother reading the instructions. I charged it up and took it around the house. Lucky for this review we are renovating our home so there is plenty of dust from hanging, texturing, and sanding drywall, 60 year old insulation fluff in and on everything and every corner and much more. I've been using my Dyson primarily before I received this just because its easier to grab- the Eureka Rapid Pro is MUCH lighter and just as easy to cart around. I LOVE that the head of the vacuum seems to sit really low to the ground where my other stick vacuum is a little higher and tends to grab things that are "too big" for it to handle and thus just shoot it out of the back- this Eureka is low enough that it doesnt really grab what it can't handle. I also love the extra wheels on the head allowing for REALLY nice range of motion.. and the LIGHT! Never thought a light on the head of a cordless vacuum would come in so handy but its life changing! I could SEE where the dust was under the bed and go where I needed and be done rather than just aimlessly moving it around and hoping I got what I needed to. Lastly- the battery life was wayyyy longer than my Dyson. I even used it- LET IT UNPLUGGED for a few days, used it again and left it unplugged again and used- that to me is amazing for a small stick vacuum. All in all- this is definitely a little machine with a big presence! Thank you!Anna

Almost 200 less than the Cordless Bissell! great that you don't have to sweep your floor before you love your floor with this Little Gem! And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. I have use Great Value and it works great as well.William

The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. It uses a standard barrel-type plug-in adapter, and it feels a bit loose in the port on the device. It works perfectly for the time being, but I just wonder how it'll hold up over time after repeated connect and disconnect cycles.Angela40

I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. What’s the point in using this thing if I’m going to have to get the big guns out anyways?Ashtan

Ok, look. Since I got this vacuum, I vacuum my house much more than I did before. Not to make myself look bad, but it's true. (Like, MUCH more.) This vacuum is lightweight! I don't break a sweat pushing it back and forth like I do with my old vacuum. (Anyone else? Just me?) I can carry it to the second floor, and back down, no problem. This vacuum is versatile! It's like 15 vacuums in one! Ok, exaggeration, but there are so many different ways to configure this thing. It's big! It's small! Now it's got a brush! Now a hose! With the multitude of attachments and configurations, I am able to vacuum under and behind my cast iron radiators with ease. WITH EASE!!! This vacuum can tilt and roll flat to vacuum under beds and couches and other low-to-the-ground things. This vacuum is cordless! Oh boy, I love this part! I can start in the living room, and make my way through every room on the first floor without stopping, just rolling that sucker (heehee) under, and behind, and through until it's time to do the second floor. It's bliss. This vacuum is easy to clean! I've made a habit of emptying the dust collector after each use, which is, quite literally, just pushing a button. (I also charge it after each use, so that my blissful run through the house isn't interrupted by a dead battery.) Once a week or so (…..or when I remember to), I disassemble the dust collector and clean each part right in my kitchen sink. Everything comes apart, and, more importantly, goes back together, pretty easily. I enjoy this vacuum so much, I have actually gushed about it to my friends. A perfect upgrade from my old stick vacuum. Better suction, more power, touch control, beautiful color. Stick attachment is extendable, battery is detachable and can be recharged separately. The top section has a touch panel and shows a bright status of battery. Dustbin can be easily emptied with just one button release. Came nicely packaged with multiple attachments and 2 filters! The Tineco Pure One S15 Flex stick vacuum is a good, everyday, household vacuum. It is lightweight and the suction power is good. It is versatile and very quiet. It will lay flat to clean under beds, sofas, and other furniture. It can be converted into a handheld vacuum with the included attachment tools and brushes to clean above floor surfaces, furniture, and car interiors. It has a nice looking, weighted base that charges the vacuum and holds the attachments. I have used it on our hardwood floors, carpets, and the tiles floors in our kitchen. It does a good job in all areas. The vacuum holds a charge for about 30 minutes. It has a large, easy to read LED display that shows battery level, vacuum malfunctions, vacuum power level, and the amount of dirt that you are vacuuming up. There is a LED ring on the display that will change from red to blue as the floor is cleaned. It really helps to give you the confidence that the floor is clean. The vacuum can also be connected to your WiFi network through a downloadable phone app for additional diagnostic information about the operation of the vacuum. The vacuum can be put in AUTO mode that adjusts the suction power, based on the amount dirt, dust, and debris that it is vacuuming up. You can also manually set the suction power level, but I typically leave in the AUTO mode because it gives me longer runtimes with good results. It is very easy to clean. You empty the dust bin with the press of one button. There is a removeable washable HEPA filter and it comes with an extra filter that can be used while the other filter is drying after it is washed. It has a LED lighted, no tangle brush head that doesn’t get built up with long hair. Overall, it is a really nice vacuum with many modern features. It is versatile and lightweight with good suction and good battery life. The color LED display is the best that I have seen on a stick vacuum. I highly recommend it.DRTechNerd

Review of Tineco Pure One S15 Flex Smart Stick Vacuum Tineco Pure ONE S15 Series is battery powered, smart and cordless category vacuum. Out of box it is easy to assemble, and start using right away. It doesn’t require major reading of the how to use manual except to understand some details. The package comes with handy number of accessories for different cleaning situation and convenience. For instance, it comes with the charging base where to park the vacuum with the tube or without it. Af for cleaning need, it includes 1. Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush 2. Mini power brush 3. 2-in-1 dusting brush 4.Cervice Tool 5.Soft Dusting brush 6. Flexible long service tool 7. Multi-angle folding tube 8. Flexible extension hose 9. Hair cleaning tool Battery Charging: To charge fully the battery, according to the manual it takes 3-4 hours. From the actual charging while the battery had 51%, to fully charge took about 1hour and half approximately to reach 100%. Now while it is charging, the display shows the status, and once fully charged, the screen goes totally off. Vacuuming Hard floor: Using Direct-drive anti tangle LED power brush, vacuuming is not bad, it is light enough to maneuver with one hand without getting tire easy. It can clean corners and edges without issues, and dusts get cleaned easily. The LED light serve as guide and able to notice dust as clean. Now, during hard floor cleaning, it is bit noisy though that comes form the brush side. Vacuuming Capet: It is quite similar to using on Hard Floor from removing dust perspective. The only big difference observed is less noisy with the same brush used for Hard Floor, Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush. Note on Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush: Vacuumed a spot with lot of hairs, and at least from the usage the hair doesn’t appear tangled, hence avoid spending time removing hearts from the brush. What does well: 1. Remove dust as expected 2. To vacuum, I don’t have to maintain the Power On/Off while working. It is press once to vacuum, preset again to stop. This seems good feature compared to others that need to hold the button while vacuuming adding stress to the hand on top of holding weight of the vacuum while vacuuming. 3. The battery is removal allowing to exchange or have second one ready and exchange. 4. Hair anti-tangle brush; hairs are not tangled helping to save time to remove it. 5. Dust sensor seems quite accurate as it turn red in Loop and becoming blue as clean/ 6. Auto mode seems to work accurately as accelerate where more dust is, and less where doesn’t. What I don’t like: 1. The noise from the brush while vacuuming hard floor 2. The dust bin is very limited capacity. As per its manual, its size is of 0/47L. Hence it is for short vacuuming or high frequency of emptying the bin for large work. 3. Hard to clean the bin as the dustbin cannot be removed or separated from the main vacuum body. Although it has mechanism via Dust Empty Release Button and Dust Empty Tab, there is remaining dust and hair stuck between Mesh Filter and Dustbin which need to cleaned by hand and it is hard to reach. 4.Charging with the base only possible with the tube. The base needs to be used only at the floor and cannot be used on alike table and charge directly form main body of the vacuum. 5. Unable to control the power of suction manually. Its Mode are only Auto, or Manual that only allow minimum 6. As vacuum, the display face toward the downside such hardly readable. The display include indicators and icons but as vacuuming it sort of redundant as hardly be interpreted immediately on the go. 7. While charging, the display face down so the reading of numbers and everything on it is reverse. So need to either remove from charging for correct reading from the vacuum, or from the app but that takes second device to reach out. 8. Using App feels bit redundant as couldn’t find usefulness while not using the vacuum, nor cannot use while vacuuming. In short, it is a handy vacuum for quick work, and good lasting battery for the same purpose with nice to have functions. But its downside I am not sure if justify the price.MigDigital

The Pure One S15 Flex is very quiet and includes all the attachments most will ever need. You have several different configurations to use the vacuum up high, down low. Inside the house and outside in the car. Even a nice weighted base to hold most of the tools and charge the vacuum is included. After assembly and a charge. You will be treated to how extremely quite the S15 is. Even on MAX setting, the vacuum is quieter than any vac I have previously used. I think the Tineco "Auto" iLoop Smart sensor does a great job using the power it needs as it encounters floor debris. Although, Auto setting will yield the quietest and best battery life for all surfaces except carpet. I found the MAX setting was a better choice for thicker carpet. Just be ready as it says in the instructions, battery life on MAX will be about 10 minutes. On Auto I did get almost 24 minutes running around the house easily sucking up dust bunnies on hardwood and tile floors. The overall function of the S15 is very good. Suction is good on AUTO and better on MAX despite the hit to battery power. Its easy to empty and even has a slider to help scrape the interior to keep you from touching dirt. And maybe best of all. You pull the trigger to start the vac and it stays on till you pull the trigger again. Tineco even allows you to easily disassemble the filters and dust bin to rinse all the parts to maintain a near new suction after you start using the vac. Just don't forget to check the filter above the handle (magnetic cap) and not just the filter in the dust bin. While Tineco included every possible dusting brush, crevice tool and secondary brush head, and a weighted base to hold most of it. I hope they give consideration to adding a second battery to the kit. I know the S15 Flex is not meant to replace a full size vacuum. Yet, if you have lots of thicker carpet. The extra battery would be very handy to have on hand. Or double the capacity of the included battery.JinOH

It does a good job in all areas. The vacuum holds a charge for about 30 minutes. It has a large, easy to read LED display that shows battery level, vacuum malfunctions, vacuum power level, and the amount of dirt that you are vacuuming up. There is a LED ring on the display that will change from red to blue as the floor is cleaned. It really helps to give you the confidence that the floor is clean. The vacuum can also be connected to your WiFi network through a downloadable phone app for additional diagnostic information about the operation of the vacuum. The vacuum can be put in AUTO mode that adjusts the suction power, based on the amount dirt, dust, and debris that it is vacuuming up. You can also manually set the suction power level, but I typically leave in the AUTO mode because it gives me longer runtimes with good results. It is very easy to clean. You empty the dust bin with the press of one button. There is a removeable washable HEPA filter and it comes with an extra filter that can be used while the other filter is drying after it is washed. It has a LED lighted, no tangle brush head that doesn’t get built up with long hair. Overall, it is a really nice vacuum with many modern features. Review of Tineco Pure One S15 Flex Smart Stick Vacuum Tineco Pure ONE S15 Series is battery powered, smart and cordless category vacuum. Out of box it is easy to assemble, and start using right away. It doesn’t require major reading of the how to use manual except to understand some details. The package comes with handy number of accessories for different cleaning situation and convenience. For instance, it comes with the charging base where to park the vacuum with the tube or without it. Af for cleaning need, it includes 1. Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush 2. Mini power brush 3. 2-in-1 dusting brush 4.Cervice Tool 5.Soft Dusting brush 6. Flexible long service tool 7. Multi-angle folding tube 8. Flexible extension hose 9. Hair cleaning tool Battery Charging: To charge fully the battery, according to the manual it takes 3-4 hours. From the actual charging while the battery had 51%, to fully charge took about 1hour and half approximately to reach 100%. Now while it is charging, the display shows the status, and once fully charged, the screen goes totally off. Vacuuming Hard floor: Using Direct-drive anti tangle LED power brush, vacuuming is not bad, it is light enough to maneuver with one hand without getting tire easy. It can clean corners and edges without issues, and dusts get cleaned easily. The LED light serve as guide and able to notice dust as clean. Now, during hard floor cleaning, it is bit noisy though that comes form the brush side. Vacuuming Capet: It is quite similar to using on Hard Floor from removing dust perspective. The only big difference observed is less noisy with the same brush used for Hard Floor, Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush. Note on Direct-drive anti-tangle LED power brush: Vacuumed a spot with lot of hairs, and at least from the usage the hair doesn’t appear tangled, hence avoid spending time removing hearts from the brush. What does well: 1. Remove dust as expected 2. To vacuum, I don’t have to maintain the Power On/Off while working. It is press once to vacuum, preset again to stop. This seems good feature compared to others that need to hold the button while vacuuming adding stress to the hand on top of holding weight of the vacuum while vacuuming. 3. The battery is removal allowing to exchange or have second one ready and exchange. 4. Hair anti-tangle brush; hairs are not tangled helping to save time to remove it. 5. Dust sensor seems quite accurate as it turn red in Loop and becoming blue as clean/ 6. Auto mode seems to work accurately as accelerate where more dust is, and less where doesn’t. What I don’t like: 1. The noise from the brush while vacuuming hard floor 2. The dust bin is very limited capacity. As per its manual, its size is of 0/47L. Hence it is for short vacuuming or high frequency of emptying the bin for large work. 3. Hard to clean the bin as the dustbin cannot be removed or separated from the main vacuum body. Although it has mechanism via Dust Empty Release Button and Dust Empty Tab, there is remaining dust and hair stuck between Mesh Filter and Dustbin which need to cleaned by hand and it is hard to reach. 4.Charging with the base only possible with the tube. The base needs to be used only at the floor and cannot be used on alike table and charge directly form main body of the vacuum. 5. Unable to control the power of suction manually. Its Mode are only Auto, or Manual that only allow minimum 6. As vacuum, the display face toward the downside such hardly readable. The display include indicators and icons but as vacuuming it sort of redundant as hardly be interpreted immediately on the go. 7. While charging, the display face down so the reading of numbers and everything on it is reverse. So need to either remove from charging for correct reading from the vacuum, or from the app but that takes second device to reach out. 8. Using App feels bit redundant as couldn’t find usefulness while not using the vacuum, nor cannot use while vacuuming. In short, it is a handy vacuum for quick work, and good lasting battery for the same purpose with nice to have functions. But its downside I am not sure if justify the price.MigDigital

The Pure One S15 Flex is very quiet and includes all the attachments most will ever need. You have several different configurations to use the vacuum up high, down low. Inside the house and outside in the car. Even a nice weighted base to hold most of the tools and charge the vacuum is included. After assembly and a charge. You will be treated to how extremely quite the S15 is. Even on MAX setting, the vacuum is quieter than any vac I have previously used. I think the Tineco "Auto" iLoop Smart sensor does a great job using the power it needs as it encounters floor debris. Although, Auto setting will yield the quietest and best battery life for all surfaces except carpet. I found the MAX setting was a better choice for thicker carpet. Just be ready as it says in the instructions, battery life on MAX will be about 10 minutes. On Auto I did get almost 24 minutes running around the house easily sucking up dust bunnies on hardwood and tile floors. The overall function of the S15 is very good. Suction is good on AUTO and better on MAX despite the hit to battery power. Its easy to empty and even has a slider to help scrape the interior to keep you from touching dirt. And maybe best of all. You pull the trigger to start the vac and it stays on till you pull the trigger again. Tineco even allows you to easily disassemble the filters and dust bin to rinse all the parts to maintain a near new suction after you start using the vac. Just don't forget to check the filter above the handle (magnetic cap) and not just the filter in the dust bin. While Tineco included every possible dusting brush, crevice tool and secondary brush head, and a weighted base to hold most of it. I hope they give consideration to adding a second battery to the kit. I know the S15 Flex is not meant to replace a full size vacuum. Yet, if you have lots of thicker carpet. The extra battery would be very handy to have on hand. Or double the capacity of the included battery.JinOH

Before purchasing the Dyson I id a lot of research, I needed to know the vacuum I bought would do exactly what I wanted, I haven't been disappointed! Firstly, I wanted to be able to vacuum the corners of my ceilings due to cobwebs and dust on high cabinets. Secondly, I wanted to be able to vacuum the stairs easily, without having to dismantle the whole thing and/or carry a heavy lump with me. Thirdly, I needed it to be able to clean hard floors, two cats can produce a lot of hair surprisingly, then again so can my wife but i won't go into that just now! Fourthly, the ability to empty the container without the contents spewing all over the place or creating a dust cloud. On all aspects the Dyson multifloor has performed outstandingly! It has a long hose that is easy to detach and easily reaches the full height of my ceiling without having to stretch, likewise for my stairs, it reaches the top tread ( admittedly at full hose length) without the need for me to take the whole thing with me. Emptying the container is simply a click of a button and its done, after my previous cleaner, this was an absolute pleasure. I read a review that said cat hair etc wraps around the drum, i have to say I;ve used it now for nearly 4 weeks and the drum is as clear as the day i bought it. My last cleaner was continually getting snarled up with hair etc, leaving me to cut it out with scissors or a knife – not a pleasant task! So, the good points; Long hose reach (2 metre) long cable length (5 metre I think) awesome suction on hard floor or carpet and is adjustable! easy to empty Reasonably light weight. Compared to the Shark its light! Very easy to manoeuvre Bad points; there is only one attachment holder, this has to hold the long nozzle and the small head. A pleasure to use this new Dyson as it is a good looking creature, nice to handle and convenient to empty. The suction is powerful and the machine is relatively quiet to run compared to previous vacuum cleaners I have owned. Initially I had a little difficulty following some of the diagrammatic instructions in the manual, but once mastered the clicks and snaps required to attach/dismantle the various tools become second nature and it is so easy to switch from one cleaning mode to another. I particularly like the extra long lead which means that I can do virtually the whole house without unplugging, and the bendy long attachment which enables me to vacuum between the radiator and the wall to remove the dust of ages. The machine is very manoeuvrable when turning because of the ball design and the suction control means that I can do a thorough vacuum or a quick once-over on differing floor surfaces. Emptying the bin is quick and easy and because it is transparent I can see straight away when it needs doing, with no messy bag to change. I wipe round the bin with a moist cloth to keep it looking good. The filters need looking after and rinsing through with cold water at least once a month, and must be thoroughly dried before returning to their specific sites within the machine. Some of the tools sit on a peg at the side of the machine so can be carried around with it, especially useful when the stairs need vacuuming. The long stretchy hose reaches most of the stairs whilst the machine is on the ground floor. I was a bit concerned that the transparent "plastic" handle, buttons and levers wouldn't stand up to long wear and tear, but after using the machine for a while I realised that the construction material is very hard wearing and durable; sometimes you just have to put your trust in the name of the manufacturer and believe that they chose the best.Jonquilly

I was absolutely so extremely excited to receive this Dyson vacuum cleaner! All of my friends and relatives who own any type of the Dyson vacuum cleaners absolutely made me believe that this product is the top of the line and the best of the best on the market. Well…I decided to see and check it out for myself and see how good this product really is and if it is really worth the price that it costs on the market. So when i received this vacuum cleaner the set up process was extremely easy, not confusing at all with a help of the instructions, it just takes a couple of minutes to snap in the parts into where they belong and the vacuum cleaner is ready for use! Right after I set it up, I couldn't hardly make the vacuum cleaner stand up straight, it would be constantly falling backwards, but that did not distract me and I decided to just look through and see what specific functions it has and does, and that's where I got disappointed. First of all, unlike the advertisement of this product states that it is a lightweight vacuum cleaner, it is actually not lightweight at all, i think its pretty heavy as it is around 15 lbs in weight, and that is what pretty much any other vacuum cleaner out there on the market weights. Also I have immediately noticed that the two attachments that do come in the box, are completely impossible to get attached anywhere on the side of the vacuum cleaner! That was a shocker! While vacuuming my carpets daily I love the ability to just snap on the attachments I need onto the hose and use it at any time I need them, this vacuum cleaner does not make it any easier on me, as the attachments only can be snapped on the actual hose while vacuuming , so that means that any time you need to use an attachment you have to go and find it wherever you placed it and then you will be able to use it, it is kinda very disappointing and not convenient whatsoever! That just means that I have to find a place where to store extra attachments and that is loss for me. Also I have noticed how small the dust chamber is, any of the other vacuum cleaners that I have ever owned had way bigger dust chamber which means you don't have to empty it out as often. The good thing about the dust chamber is that you just easily open it up with a snap off the button, so you will never make any mess. The cord of this product is pretty much as long as any other vacuum cleaner, which is about 18 feet or so in length, which is a plus. There are only two buttons that you can actually use – ON/OFF button, and also a brushroll button, which allows you turn it on while vacuuming the carpets or rugs and turn it off when vacuuming the floors. The actual hose gets snapped into the vacuum handle, which on one hand is very convenient and a space saver, but on the other hand, I always have trouble to pop it back into the handle and make it stay there. My biggest disappointment was the inability to adjust the vacuum cleaner to the height of the carpets, I thinks that it is a huge loss and is such a disappointment! I like when I can adjust to my carpet height, as it gives me an opportunity to actually control how well my vacuum cleaner will suck up all of the dirt and dust off my carpets and floors! This vacuum cleaner does not give you that option and it is extremely disappointing! I put this Dyson to a test, the same one I put all of my vacuums through – I dumped some dirt on the carpet and vacuumed it off, little did I know, is that this product would not be able to accomplish that! The dirt was still on the carpet, right there just sitting, and this vacuum cleaner just picked up the top layer off!!! Right after that, I brought my other vacuum cleaner (which is actually only cost under $100) into the room and it sucked all the remaining dirt right up!! Unbelievable! So yes, that was the only thing for me that I had to see with my own eyes in order to really decide for myself how good this product really is, and it left me absolutely disappointed, and I am actually surprised! So yes, while everybody screams and states that this vacuum cleaner is actually the best on the market, I guess everybody has to find out how good/bad it really is on their own. I guess the only feature that I actually do absolutely love about this Dyson vacuum cleaner is the steering effect, which allows me to steer it in any way possible in order to get in the toughest spots to pick up the dust and dirt, the steering function is pretty much the biggest plus and the greatest function of this vacuum cleaner. While this Dyson vacuum cleaner cleans up the basic dirt off your carpets and floors, it really does not have to my opinion that great of a suction, though it has some pluses, like -long cord, easy to open/empty dust chamber, long hose for the ease of reaching to the hardest spots, great corner cleaning abilities, washable filters, which you never have to buy and replace, not too loud, I can actually say it is a little quieter than any other vacuum cleaner thksjch

Pros: The suction is decent on carpet. Cons: Suction isn’t great on vinyl flooring but is okay on carpets. After 3 short uses my hoover now makes an awful air horn sound constantly while I’m hoovering.. no idea why this has suddenly started happening, I emptied after each use and can’t find any obvious reason for it! Although cheap, I have bought hoovers for less that have worked much better. I only bought this to replace my old one until I could buy something a bit nicer.Bryonie

Having tried out several hoovers, all of which seemed to have disadvantages, I have at last found a trouble free model. Easy to assemble, light enough to carry upstairs, picks up well and when charged lasts a good time. Simple to clean and you can see the level of dust to remind you when to empty. Smooth gliding over carpets and a convenient handheld part. Attachments make a thorough job of cleaning hard to reach areas. I am old enough to remember lugging around heavy machines and tripping over flexes and coping with horrible dust bags. Now I have a smart convenient cleaner which makes hoovering not the usual hated chore but a pleasure!Rosiemac

Pros: It's okay don't get me wrong. I think with things like this, – certain brands that is, just pay for their top product, not the close copy – which in essence is what their cheaper versions are. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review from #bzzagent. The Bissell Poweredge vacuum was easy to put together out of the box. The suction power is good and I like the accessories it comes with. I was really disappointed that this vacuum does not have an LED light! For over $200.00 you would assume it would. That feature alone would not make me want to purchase this. Also I don't like the fact you have to mount the vacuum to the wall to store it. It should have the option to fold in half. This Bissell PowerEdge Cordless Vacuum is amazingly very satisfying to use! It has never fail me every time I use it. It cleans up really good, has a great suction and it also gets the edges well. It's lightweight and super easy to maneuver. We have two dogs that sheds a lot and small kids so we have an endless clutter. This cordless vacuum makes cleaning pet hairs, crumbs and everything else like a breeze! It's way better than our old one. I had put off purchasing a cordless vacuum after using a couple big name / expensive cordless vacuums. But I read the reviews and decided to order this one. I wasn't completely sold until I used it and I was pleasantly surprised by the power, the size of the dust cup, attachments, how quiet it is, movability of the swivel head and the overall great job it did!!! The vacuum unit itself is fine, but this is a budget unit. It’s nice to have a cheap option, to get the job done, but this definitely feels cheap. On one hand, the light weight of the base is nice, easy to move around with it. The metal extendible part of the vacuum clicks nicely when you extend it, but the place where the hose and the metal part connect lack any kind of lock button. It disconnects easily if you’re not careful. The is a weird flaw, because the metal part itself has a very nice locking button for extension. The floor attachment has poor range of motion, but works well on hard floors.Ann

I love the Bissell Zing. For the money it works very well. My only complaints are that it is all plastic. While it makes the vacuum light, its durability is questionable. Also the hose has no way of staying on to the floor tool. You push it on and hope for the best. I can see this being a problem in time and also a frustration. One other thing, the electric cord is very short. For the cost in todays world it is very good but you barley get what you pay for these days! My expectations aren't very high! I wish there was a company that would take pride in the fact that they give the consumer a well made product, at a fair cost, that would last longer then a year. I know, by doing this you wouldn't make huge profits but you would still make healthy profits and loyal customers! It would also help the environment with keeping waste at a minimum! I started off by saying the only good thing about this wet vac mopping vacuum is that it's got a decent battery. Now for the realistic honest review. This wet vac does not hardly mop at all. I'm sure it might be okay if you didn't have kids or pets or roommates and you were single and worked from home. I married with a 6-year-old and have two cats and two dogs. Cleaning up normal drip spills from the kitchen it takes it passing over at about 15 times and that's not an exaggeration. Have 1600 square foot of tile and it takes about 30 minutes to actually get the floors clean. Even then the floors feel sticky and don't really look clean. I was kind of expecting it to work like the Tineco but it doesn't. Save your money and pass on this one.Calbtx

I think this is a really cool idea that saves some space if you want a dual sweeper and mop. I was excited to try it and it did seem to work well for me. It was easy to figure out and use. But for me it was a little more effort then I was hoping for the mop features to fill/clean etc. luckily I only mop maybe once a month because I don’t have kids or pets. So it ends up being worth the effort for me, but for someone who mops a lot maybe think through the pros and cons. Nice machine and nice quality.Lb1413

I got the Eufy Wet and dry cordless vacuum cleaner in the mail. It's lightweight and comes with a charging base. It cleans any mess up dry or liquid. I love that it self cleans and also self drys the roller for you. It comes with one extra filter. It tells you when to empty the dirt tray and also when you need to empty or refill the water tank. You can also turn down the voice control on low or leave it on high. You can also switch the language on it to anything if you don't speak English. Theirs two different brushes for it, but mine only came with the roller brush. Make sure to always clean it after every use and make sure the water is filled and ready to go. You do need to have water in the tank to be able to self clean and dry the roller brush. I highly recommend trying Eufy out, my mind is still blown away at how amazing this vacuum is!EricaM1985
