I purchased this product thinking it would help with my cabinet problem in the kitchen but it didn't. I followed the directions and applied it to the cabinet. I even let the lotion sit on my cabinet and scrubbed the wood with a soft tooth brush to see if that would help. Ok I will admit I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning. My go to are the pre moistened cleaning wipes. I usually buy a different brand but was very pleasantly surprised with this one. This did a great job especially on the greasy stove top after cooking dinner. It requires very little elbow grease which is important to me because I have a rheumatic condition. I tend to be fairly sensitive to smells but this one wasn't strong. It had a citrusy smell to it with a slight cleaner scent underneath fortunately there wasn't anything that stunk up the whole room. Counter tops, pressure cooker , stove top and even my washer/dryer were left clean and steak free. Looking forward to giving their other cleaning products a try.

I sprayed it on my hard water ring around the tub this is always the toughest job in my house after applying it inside the tub I used a rag to wipe it off, yes I did not have to scrub hard as I thought I would have. the best multi surface polish ever made for the home. Johnson wax discontinued it years ago but another manufacturer is making it now! Same exact formula ! (even the bottle is exactly the same.) I use it on all my hard surfaces! Works great to polish and protect chrome faucets, cleans and puts a shine on tile, I even use it on my porcelain sinks, makes them easier to keep clean. I also have a retro Sarrinen dinning room set made of fiberglass, coated metal and laminate and this stuff keeps it looking like new while making it easier to clean. Those pedestals get pretty dusty after a while and after applying my Jubilee they clean up and shine easily again with a slightly damp paper towel. I am not a new customer. I have used the Stanley degreaser now for 20 years. I am retired and wear various color sweatshirts almost every day during the winter months. There have been occasions when there may be grease stains from a leaky hamburger or dips etc. Regular laundry detergents or stain sprays don’t do the job. I had seen the commercials for Grease Police and thought, awesome! Have sone rather dirty drip pans on the stove and an oven that could use a little attention, so went to Walmart and bought a bottle right off the shelf for $9.95 (no shipping and no multiple bottles). Took it home, excited to watch it work it's magic! Ummm….no. Took the drip pans off the stove, sprayed them heavily with the product, waited 20 minutes, sprayed them some more for good measure, waited another 10 minutes and attempted to wipe away the muck. This stuff didn't even TOUCH the burnt on food! I might as well used plain water. At least I'm only out the $9.95, but I would NOT recommend this product, because it DOES NOT WORK. I tried this on my kitchen cabinets using a clean cloth. I found the consistency very watery. Because of this it didn't really do anything special to the cabinets. Yes the dirt came off, but that would have happened using soap and water as well. I did not really detect a lemon scent so this was pretty much odorless which is fine. This did not give my cabinets a polished look or anything. I think you would be better off using whatever cleaner you already have and then using a furniture polish if you want to see a big difference in your cabinets.cusican

Last winter they made a nest in the engine and left the plastic engine cover and other parts an absolute mess with the greasy mess they leave behind. Based on the many excellent reviews on Home Essentials Direct and elsewhere on the Internet, I purchased this from the U.S. to Denmark to remove a nasty combination of barbecue grease and soot stains from concrete tiles. Must say I was less than impressed with the performance. Sprayed liberally and left it to soak in paper towel for 1 hour covered with tin foil to prevent it from drying out. Even with a lot of scrubbing followed by rinsing, it only removed a small amount of the stains. It's not a bad product by no means, but in my experience other products (Britemax Grime Out, KKD A-Kleen) are at least as effective.f.

I recently opened a cleaning company. I had my first commercial client. The job was a restaurant that had not been maintained, especially in the kitchen. The ovens were covered in mounds of grease. I used Zep Fast 505 and some elbow grease and it melted away. I highly recommend this product. I also used it behind the bar. The area was covered in old syrup and other icky, sticky residue, so much that the counters were no longer brown wood, but black tar. I sprayed 505 and let it sit overnight. Fast 505 recently changed its packaging to the yellow container and claims the formula remained the same. It is now absolutely useless. It is less effective than diluted Dawn dishwashing soap. I've used this product for about seven years to clean the road grime off my tires. It used to cut the grime and clean the brush I was using. Ok I will admit I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning. My go to are the pre moistened cleaning wipes. I usually buy a different brand but was very pleasantly surprised with this one. This did a great job especially on the greasy stove top after cooking dinner. It requires very little elbow grease which is important to me because I have a rheumatic condition. I tend to be fairly sensitive to smells but this one wasn't strong. It had a citrusy smell to it with a slight cleaner scent underneath fortunately there wasn't anything that stunk up the whole room. Counter tops, pressure cooker , stove top and even my washer/dryer were left clean and steak free. Looking forward to giving their other cleaning products a try.

I sprayed it on my hard water ring around the tub this is always the toughest job in my house after applying it inside the tub I used a rag to wipe it off, yes I did not have to scrub hard as I thought I would have. I used Simple Green to clean the coils on my home outside AC unit coils. I wet the coils sprayed the coils, then rinsed them off. Works like a charm, cleaned the coils, left no residue. Also works nicely on the inside of my white fiberglass boat! Remove stains and smells good too!Big James

I bought a bottle of this Mean Green cleaner and it failed. The bottle states that it can clean toilets and other items and areas in the bathroom. Initially I bought it because of all the high rated reviews here, but when I tried to use it on the toilet, it did not loosen any of the crud at all. I also tried to clean some greasy spots on the stove top and it did not work well there either. I'm wondering if I received a bad batch in the bottle, I don't get it. I think I'm going to try a bottle of "Greased Lightning" next time around.Patrick

I have aluminum gutters with an enamel finish that matches the rest of the trim on my home. Black stains began to accumulate on the gutters that even professional power washing couldn't remove. I tried three different outdoor cleaners all rather high in price, that didn't even make a dent in the stuff. I actually had a bottle of Mean Green in the house already because it works so well on bathroom floors; so I decided to give it a try, not really expecting any better result than what I'd seen from the other cleaners. WOW, was I wrong, it cut right thru the stains right after spraying it on. The gunk was actually dripping off the gutters before I even got a brush up to it to scrub.
