Okay this is the best stuff ever. I have fine, wavy to curly hair. My hair is EASILY weighed down, and let me tell you, this product delivers. This is NOT an oil. Like how hyaluronic acid or niacinamide supports a moisturizer, this serum supports your conditioners or leave in moisturizers while helping smooth, shine, and protect. Unlike facial serums, this one goes on AFTER the moisturizing products to lock in the goodness. It strengthens your hair and allows for better style retention, as well as influencing your natural texture to take center stage in all its glory! This is a water gel like texture, it’s fast drying, but with no tacky ness or a residual texture of its own. It’s completely absorbed unless you use too much. If you use too much it will pull humidity from the air, making your hair feel like you just were in a sauna for 30 mins until it dries again. Use less than a full pump for medium hair, even less for fine hair. It’s styling benefits are definitely refreshed by scrunching with water! Next day this a huge time saver for me after sleeping on my hair. How I used it: After washing my hair I applied a pea size of number 6 Bond smoother, and BRUSHED it through upside down. I then did HALF a pump of No.9, I tapped over the surface of my hair, and then used the flats of my hands to coat further. I applied a pea size amount to my hands again, then scrunched away. I was excited at first but after playing around with it as a base gel then topper, the cons outweighed the pros for me. I have textured, difficult, wildly frizzy 2b/3a curls/waves. They are not uniform so my hair sticks out in all directions and looks REALLY dry. Half my hair still has bleach damage from when I was platinum blonde. Basically, any hair product really has its work cut out for it! I found this serum to be VERY calming and nourishing, and it made my hair feel silky and soft, which is NOT easy to do. I have medium thickness, medium density hair that's an inch or two past my shoulders, and a full pump was too much – I ended up having to re-wash my hair. You really only need a little, applied to the bottom half of your hair. For me, half a pump distributed between both hands and applied with the praying-hands method was perfect. The product will last you a long time! Anyway, it took on my difficult locks and won! For this reason I wonder if it might be too much for people who have fine, healthy hair that's straight or only slightly wavy. This product was received as an incentive from Influenster for my honest review. WOW. I was not expecting to like this as much as I do! I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks now and it has already done wonders for my hair. I naturally have very coarse, thick, dry hair and use a litany of oils and deep conditioners to keep my hair maintained. I feel like using this product consistently may alleviate that. This oil is on the thicker side, (which helps weigh down my thick hair- in a good way) and initially smells fruity / clean but somehow dries down to a more masculine clean scent (which I prefer for my hair). I think I found another go to product to help tame this mane. I loved the frizz-free results that stopped frizz at my hairline without making my hair greasy (AMAZEBALLS), but whew, the smell is awful. Luckily the smell goes away after thirty minutes or so. I have medium thick 2B wavy/ curly frizzy hair and I have one heck of a time trying to get my hair under control. I used this, in combination with the Dyson Airwrap, Verb Ghost oil (for shine), Verb Ghost hairspray (for hold), and IGK Good Behavior Smoothing Balm. I was pretty impressed by the results. For an amateur it was an easy at home blow out, and my results have held for 3 days without my hair looking greasy or wild. If you are on the fence I would say try it if you can get past the smell for the amazing results. I just tried this out to style my old school crew cut. I find that it leaves my hair looking and feeling much more natural, smooth and shiny than the water based pomades. It's also really nice that it's reworkable throughout the day. Also, like everything suavecito makes…it smells amazing! Like everything in life, there are trade offs. As many have mentioned, this stuff does take a while to wash out even for me with a relatively short crew cut (about 1 to 1.5inches on top). I'd imagine the longer your hair, the more challenging it'd be to wash out.Tom
Amazing pomade my son has thick hair and I was first using the cremo pomade however after some months it was no longer holding his hair up and I searched for a new one and landed on this one. I have been using this product for years (4-5 years). I have thick hair, and the strong hold was really the best. There is nothing "strong" about this product any longer, it has changed…why? It used to be thick and actually strong, not too shiny just perfect. Now it doesn't hold my thick hair in place, and just running your finger through the tub, you can tell it has changed, it's more like the original hold now. I really loved trying this heat protectant. I don’t use a ton of styling products in my hair but I do always use a light leave in conditioner or heat protectant and this one includes an extra boost for my blonde highlights so I was thankful for that. It’s silky smooth without any weigh down. I can’t take any product that’s the slightest bit oily because it just weighs my hair down. This has enough to know it feels better without feeling like you have anything in your hair if that makes sense!! Lol I’m not a fan of the Keratese smells in general. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried the product as I have very light blond highlights and always struggle to protect my hair from heat damage. At first pass, I noticed that the product has a nice fragrance – clean, not floral – maybe trending a little bit on the chemical side but not in a bad way. I first applied the product to damp hair and blew dry as I normally did and proceeded to style as usual. I did not use any other products because I wanted to focus specifically on any differences I may have noticed with this product alone. Once my hair was dried, I styled it like I typically do and applied a small amount of the product to the ends of my hair for additional protection, definition and to tame any flyaways (my hair is very fine). As a lover of vintage fashion, I'd heard many good things about this pomade, but having fine, wavy hair made sculpted styles nearly impossible. Combine that with hair that's starting to thin, and you realize that maybe long hair isn't your thing… However, it turns out Suavecita is a short-haired girl's best friend! I recently had my hair cut into an asymmetrical pixie, and needed a product that would allow for frizz control and texture enhancement, without weighing my hair down or making it sticky. Not only does it help fight frizz (mega important if you live somewhere with humid summers), it gives a ton of dimension and texture to wavy hair, and makes training your cowlicks a breeze! I think I may have a bad batch. It's basically a solid bar of soap. Nothing like the video. There's no way to remove a dab. I have to pull the whole puck out of the can and lather it up in my hands with a little water like I'm washing my hands, then drop the block back in the can. Although hard to apply, it's is a great pomade! Holds up to the Texas heat and humidity. It will get a little crunchy towards the end of the day, but it's not bad. There is also some Murray's-like buildup after a few days that takes a couple shampoos to get out.Long C.
Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. I absolutely love this product. I was looking for a cleaner product to use before blow drying my hair. The packaging came great. It was shrink wrapped so I didn’t leak in the shipment. The composition of the product is a little thicker than a serum closer to that of a gel. I needed to use it very little and it spread quite nicely. It added moisture to my hair and did not seem to negatively affect my scalp. I am sensitive to a lot of products and this one was Not irritating in anyway. I absolutely love the shine that I gave my hair after my blow dry and it did not leave any type of heavy residue. I think it’s a great benefit to the hair shaft. I didn’t notice any fragrance smell so this and was very light scent if at all. This product was even better than I expected. First of all, it makes my hair smell magnificent. It is like I sprayed some expensive perfume with pleasant flowery scent. Apart from it, this serum helps reduce the frizz on your hair. I won't lie and say that the frizz is absolutely gone, but the difference is significant. I apply it on wet hair. It says to apply after leave-in cream, but I notice that applying it before works better for me. It has a thick, sticky texture and can stay on your fingers, so I suggest washing your hands thoroughly twice to get rid of it. Since COVID, I stopped coloring my hair and haven't had it trimmed in seven months. I don't know if that has been brave or masochistic, la sigh. My hair has been thinning really bad on the sides and always wear my hair up, making my hair loss very visible. It comes in a small bottle that has holes on the top, I just pour the powder into the cap and use a blush brush and brush it on the bald spots and along my hair line and it instantly looks like I have a full head of hair. This is my first time using this type of product so I really don’t have anything to compare to but there’s no need to try any other. This works great, matches my hair well, looks natural and is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair stiff. There’s a variety of shades available to help you match your natural hair color. It’s better to match closer to your root if you normally color your hair. It’s applied by shaking it on thinning areas and then patting to disperse and distribute the fibers. It should be used on completely dry hair. I had a virus with high fever for days and about 6 weeks later, I started losing my hair by the handfuls. I lost about 60% of my hair. I had thinning throughout my entire scalp but it was especially noticeable around my temples/hairline at my forehead. I was frustrated and to the point of almost shaving my head because I was embarrassed. I wore hats and turbans to cover my balding spots. A person in my support group recommended Toppik. Aging and prescribed medications have caused my hair to thin out, leaving my scalp way too noticeable for my liking. I have tried several different products, but none were as effective or natural looking as Toppik. Application is so simple that I was able to cover the bare spots in less than a minute. The top of the container has super tiny holes, making it simple to sprinkle as little or as much product needed to camouflage the balding areas. I usually use drug store type oils however I thought I would purchase a redken hair oil from look fantastic As redken is a very well reputed hair care brand. I had a shower/ washed my hair and once my hair was dry I applied two squirts to my hands. I then applied it onto the ends of my hair as that’s where it was most dry ! And then I brushed my hair out and voila! Mirror like shine. amazing results and my hair looked ever so beautiful! It was a natural sheen! I've used semi de Lino for 15 years and love it. I have naturally curly hair that tends to frizz in the Louisiana humidity and this product is a must to fight it. I put 3-4 squirts in my palm and rub my hands together before shaking them through my hair. I use it on my hair after I have dried and flat ironed it. It leaves my hair shiny and whispy looking. I have been using this hair oil for several years due to its non-sticky nature that I looked for. Other oils were sticky and so my hairs mass looked small. However, after using it regularly for several years, I lost so many hairs and existing hairs became so thin that my scalp was mostly visible. It never happened to me before and I did not expect it to happen after using so expensive hair oil. Also, its oily nature dries in an hour and so hair remain dry for rest of the day. I also had dryness in my scalp along with loss of hair. I have stopped it and started regular hair oils and now the body of my hair have thickened and my scalp is not visible as it was before. It was money spent without any benefits. I do not recommend it at all. Just use regular hair oils that are a available at much less price. I didn't approve or ask for this shade! I got starry black. I'm a natural blonde. In order for me to achieve black hair that doesn't turn green after the 1st wash,I would have to do a filler color first like a medium brown. I don't want to put all those chemicals on my hair. Plus I don't want black hair! I DID NOT USE THIS! I have used feria in the past though, I have used their bleaching kit and their auburn, red and black cherry shades. It is the only box dye I will use. It not only has an essential oil you add to it for a better smell but it also helps the hair feel softer and more hydrated as well as look shiny and healthy, well as healthy as dyed hair can look. I'm a natural brunette and while I have dyed my hair a few times over the past couple years I've never went and done a crazy color now if you swipe over you will see I went bright blue and then very quickly decided that that did not fit my skin tone whatsoever and it need to die. The variety I used was l'oreal paris feria shimmering in deep violet. I took this 1st picture about a week after dying my hair with the dye and I had washed my hair about twice using color safe shampoo and color safe conditioning products. It immediately started fading pretty fast right after dying it was a really really dark navy blue with very slight purple undertones and for undertones and then after a few weeks of washing my hair and it's just continuing to lighten dramatically. Currently I'm back to a muddy/blue tinged green. I have used this brand of dye before in different colors when I was dying over brunette hair without any bleach involved and I also do remember that it faded very fast but it wasn't as noticeable because I was dying over dark Brown hair where it's now dyed over light blue and it's very easy to see how fast it has faded down. #complimentary #feriahaircolor
The box came with everything I needed for color application as well as after care. Instructions were easy enough to follow. There was enough color to fully saturate my hair. I started with light brown hair and it got it to a dark vibrant black. Washed as instructed and used after care products and my hair did not feel damaged. Awesome results! I left on for only 30min tops. I saw the color lift before my eyes. I took off before damaging hair. The moment you see lift consider washing out to keep hair healthy. Hair looked 5 shades lighter and light blonde slightly yellow when bleach was on. After process I used a conditioning shampoo and finished with a condition er that I left in hair for 10min. Then after drying hair and styling color looked amazing. No need to tone hair further. Hair didn't look brassy or orange at all. Amazing! I saved myself money and time doing this at home.
This product is amazing. I first used it 2 years ago to put blond streaks in my almost black hair. It took my hair to the perfect blond color. Did not turn orange or brassy. I recommend using purple shampoo after you bleach your hair. This is my go to product to keep my blond hair looking good.

There is definitely a learning curve with this product, especially if you have fine hair. You can only use a very small amount on damp hair, concentrating on the lower half and ends and completely avoiding the roots – otherwise you will end up with greasy limp strands that are impossible to style. When applied correctly, it definitely softens the hair cuticle and gives it a beautiful blow out shine. Shortens drying time and is a heat protectant as well. I’ve used this twice now with my revlon blow dryer brush. Definitely only use a very little bit because it is oil based and to much product can make the hair feel greasy. I really like this product and I will always repurchase. I can imagine that it would leave a lot of hair types weighed down and oily appearing. A little goes a long way. My hair type is dry, coarse, and thick and is a nightmare without the right products. This does wonders to tame my hair and decrease my dry time. My hair becomes glossy and manageable. I absolutely LOVE THE COLOR!!!!! But it dries out your hair. I use so many products that I thought it would never dry mine out. After two washes I realized I will shampoo the color in, every day, not twice a week. And I will use three minute miracle or 6-13 by Wen directly after. It colors my hair waaaay better than my box color. I only have a few grays with this shampoo verses ALL the gray's with a hair color treatment. So yes, I'm still going to use it!!! I just add oil in my hair every time I wash it. And I have to use this every time I shampoo or it won't work and all the evil gray's come back.Beth
I have used a few products from this line, so I was excited to try a new color in Silvery Diamond. I have heavily lightened hair and maintain this through a salon. Before use, I contacted my hairdresser about using the product. I wanted to make sure she would be able to color correct in case I messed up, or didn't like the color. She agreed that this would be fun and easy to handle after running down a list of ingredients, and directions. I really like this product. It works perfectly on my hair because of how light it is. The silver was pretty but not a good fit for my skin tone which is fair. It washed me out, but that is not the fault of the product. I have used other colors and loved the result. I figured that since I didn't love the color on myself, this would be a great time to see how hard it would be to get out of my hair. I re-washed and used a de-gunking shampoo and conditioner and the color, although still visible was lightened and had a really pretty sparkle that played up the tones of my blonde. I really liked it. These are high-quality products, and leave your hair feeling soft and silky after use. I definitely recommend this to anyone with lightened hair. If you want gel thats actually going to hold this is it good ol' gorilla snot lol. You gotta know how to use gel otherwise tou will get frustrated, use with water or wet your hair before using. the thicker your hair the less water you want to use for a stronger hold or vice versa. If you want your hair in place, look no further. Gorilla Snot in the yellow bottle is what I ask for when I walk in our store. Every employee who works in the department knows exactly what it is and where it is. I ride a Harley and I spike up my hair some, 70 mph with no helmet (don’t judge, it’s not the law here) and my hair doesn’t budge. If you have hard to handle hair this stuff works. But side note, barbers don’t want you coming in their shops with it still in your hair. They don’t call it Gorilla Snot for nothing. I guess it’s hard on their scissors and clippers. This stuff is a life saver!! I tried everything to lay down my frontals including got 2 b and bold hold glue, but they all only lasted a few hours. Gorilla snot can easily last up to 4 days, and sometimes even a whole week! (if it's not humid outside). It's crazy because gorilla snot is much cheaper than any other glue or gel on the market, yet it works the best. I highly recommend this product for any wig/frontal users, and I also recommend it for anyone struggling to find a good edge control. I always hesitate to give something a 5 star rating. But I have had this for a month and I feel like I have used it in combination with all my fave shampoos and conditioners as well as other styling products I use regularly and it performs consistently for my hair type. I have light blond highlights to enhance naturally graying hair that's cut in a short multi layered asymmetrical bob, it's also naturally wavy and fine with NO natural body or texture. I mostly use Aveda products to wash and condition. After applying a curl creme and diffusing my hair, I apply this to my palms and rub to liquidate and turn my head upside down, rubbing my palms through my scalp. This fills in all flat spots like magic. Then I finish with Aveda Air Control hairspray. To fluff during the day all I have to do is run my fingers through my scalp and shake my curls back into place.FranticOh
Great for my thin textured straight hair when I want to add definition to my curls. It doesn’t have much hold power but keeps the curls from blending together. The scent is lovely and light without being over powering. I wouldn’t apply this to the roots, only the mid section to ends of the hair. I am a big fan of Living Proof products, but this one just missed the mark for me when I tried it. I wasn’t 100% sure what it was supposed to do, plus there was some dire warning like “don’t layer this or it’ll be like feeding a gremlin after midnight!” Or maybe it was that your hair would get too sticky? Who is too say. Mostly I remember there were eleventy billion directions and no puff. Which means I probably didn’t follow directions, because honestly, I’ve never had one of their products even remotely disappoint me. (have you tried In-Shower Styler? Oh boy.
