In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. I feel that I can find a cheaper oil to smooth my hair after blowing it out.PastaPrincess69
This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

I bought the entire system of CD goddess strength. I’m combination 3c/4a and this is what my hair needed. I give it a 10/10 after one use. Shampoo is not stripping and hydrating af! The conditioner amazing and the leave in is on another level. I bought the oil too and it did not weigh my hair down. I’m going to take progress pics to document my journey. I bought this to help with my daughter's hair, and mine. For my daughter's to help restore oils back to their hair that over working their has taken away. Ballet is wonderful, but has dried and damaged their hair. I try I to find products that help. I have found some wonderful ones, but wanted to give this a try. You do not need much. I directly line their head with the nozzle after was day one, wash day two, to wash day 4. Now I put a bit on my hands and make sure I put some on my finger to massage it on the scalp. Then I pair it with a leave in called Curl Mane-tenace defining curl whip. I recommend it. My oldest daughter's scalp is healthier and my youngest daughter's coil curls are healthier.jannice .w

The product does exactly what it claims & actually exceeded my expectations! I'm a makeup and hair junky and have tried many, many different brands and products – and I'd like to think I know what products are worth your money or not (at least for my 3C long hair). I didn't know Ulta sold Mizani,when I purchased my first bottle, but as a loyal Ulta customer for a majority of my hair products, I am buying my second bottle online today. If used correctly, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't love this product, with the exception of people with very thin hair that gets oily, very quickly, and even so I would recommend it for the ends of the hair or body, as summer is quickly approaching in the US. My hair is completely opposite – thick, long, and very healthy. "Tricks" I only wash it once per week, as recommended by my doctor and hair stylist, and even at that point my roots have a minuscule amount of oil, that isn't noticeable at all. I deep condition weekly, and do an overnight conditioner monthly. Have a ton of favs, but Redkin Ph Bonder (think that's the name), Olaplex 3 step system, a few Moroccan products, and a plethora of others. I'm lucky, bc my sister has to wash ever other day and my cousin has to wash EVERY day or she will look unclean (oddly my other cousin, her sister has hair just like mine, but very straight) Out of curiosity, I did try this on my shoulders and décolletage area (even though I have enough body shine sprays and things of that nature) and it gave my skin a nice healthy glow, but I'll let my body products do that work and keep using this for hair only.. I’ve used this product for 1-2 weeks. I purchased it for scrunching the crunch out. My gel creates a very hard cast and it typically needs a little oil, but sometimes oil will often create frizz and my hair won’t last as long in between washes. I have 3C hair, I use Olaplex oil to protect my hair from the heat during diffusing and then scrunch the crunch out with Mizani 25 Miracle Nourishing oil. This makes the hair incredibly soft and moisturized but still keeps my curls in tact without creating frizz or causing me to wash sooner than usual.caricha
I had never tried anything from the Mizani line so I was super excited to try this product as it claims to do so many things. I will say I do love the way it leaves my hair but can’t stand the smell. If you’re sensitive to scents you’ll agree with me! That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. I literally feel like I’m slathering my grandmas perfume that’s gone rancid all over my hair every time I use it. Even my boyfriend has noticed and that is saying a lot because he typically doesn’t notice many scents. Besides that I do like the product because it’s lightweight and leaves my hair soft and less frizzy. I will sometimes apply this first and then add in the curl defining lotion to add some definition. I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. I would spray this in damp hair after showering, and I noticed that it was making my hair sticky/stringy. It did help with detangling, but no matter how little I used it made my hair feel heavy. I actually love this product. It smells fantastic. I have very coarse, thick, wavy and frizzy hair. I am also white. I am pretty sure Carols daughter was designed for African woman’s hair. I have purchased quite a few of their products and they are fantastic but and very concentrated. For me and As I wrote about how my hair type is, I must be very careful about the amount I use. A little goes a VERY long way. Too much will tend to become a weighed down greasy situation. Would not recommend for anyone with Caucasian fine, thin hair at all. I started using this in August 2020. It has done wonders for my hair. In November my beautician remarked at how soft my hair is. I found the best way to use it to apply the night before I plan on washing my hair. After I massage into the scalp and brush through my hair I then put my hair into a shower cap. I get my blow dryer and on a low setting I point the dryer at the shower cap and try to get an even distribution of heat. I do this for 5-10 minutes then wrap a warm towel around the shower cap. I received this product complimentary from Bumble and bumble. This is such a wonderful oil that is perfect for my long, wavy and frizzy hair. I spray a small amount onto my damp or dry hair and work it with my fingers into my hair. It has such nice clear smooth texture and a beautiful clean scent. I love this hair oil! I have extremely bleached and colored hair, so hair oil is my everyday essential. I have been using one of the big brands for years and never met any oil that can replace it until I found this Bb Invisible Oil. I like that its plumped design so it's easy to use without making a mess. The scent is light coconut. I love this product, it's the only hair oil I have used that doesn't make my hair look greasy, it's really lightweight and I love the smell. My first bottle has lasted me over a year as a little goes a long way (I only use on wet hair, usually every other day), so although it's not cheap I think the price is good considering how often I'll be replacing it! I do think it reduces frizz, it doesn't 100% get rid of it for me, but it's definitely better with this oil rather than without and it gives my hair a healthy shine. My only criticism is that I wish there was a lid, when I travel with it I have to put it in a sandwich bag as I have previously left it loose in my wash bag only to have everything covered in oil as the pump has accidentally been pushed down whilst in the bag. I just ordered a new bottle and some has even leaked into the package it came in, not a lot, but this would be completely solved if it had a lid. Many good things to say about this awesome oil also a little downside. The oil is super thick and sticky. U might want to mix it with other essential oils like lavender or peppermint for hair growth. Had a problem of hair falling out. Thanks to this product new baby hair are growing. As I hate this structure because is very thick and sticky. I took a coconut oil and shea butter, heated it up and made a mixture together with black castor oil. I apply it once a week before going to bed, massage into scalp and then I put the shower cap on the hair. Leave overnight. When wake up, wash it properly! And hair feels nice and fresh and new! I am very sensitive to fragrances so I try to buy products that either use no fragrances at all or all natural ingredients. To me, this oil has too strong of a fragrance for an everyday or all day use for me. Furthermore, i have a lot of hair but it is very thin so really even a little bit of this product makes my hair look wet and oily. I did find a use for this product though. I use this as a full scalp/hair oil which I put on about an hour before I'm going to shower – then wash out completely and style normally. I probably wouldn't buy this again for the fragrance alone. I have really been enjoying this hair oil! The packaging is so beautiful, the component is weighty and feels luxe, and the oil itself is a bright yellow, which looks so cool. I apply to wet hair and work it into the end of my hair. Honestly, I can't get over how smooth and soft this makes my hair look and feel! I'm so I pressed! My hair is mostly straight but does have a little wave to it and can get a little puffy/frizzy in the humidity of the summer. This is my 2nd bottle and a little goes along way . Absolutely love Aveda products but they are not all created equally. This is by far the best . A mixture between a oil & serum this acts as a moisturiser but also keeps frizz at bay . First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. I have been using this oil 1X/week overnight for about 3 months and have nothing but wonderful things to say & wonderful results. Since I moved from the west coast to the mid-west in 2014 my scalp has been dry off and on and I haven't been able to get it back into balance. In the short time I have been using this oil, it has basically eliminated any sign of dry scalp and itching, has made my hair really soft and easier to style. It doesn't weigh my hair down like other products have and I don't need to use conditioner or wash it as much.(I have long,straight finer hair) I am also losing way less hair in my hairbrush and around my house. It is also letting my long hair grow nicer and seems to be lessening some grey hair. This is a special product that not only has helped my hair & scalp but also makes me feel good when I am using it. I have only used for about few weeks but there is a noticable difference as far softness and fullness is concern. I have use three times the first week on dry hair. Second week went down to twice with once on wet hair. Each time, leaving it on a few hours. I do supplement with the vitamins. But have used collagen prior to this oil with not much difference so I know this change is stemming from the oil, because I doubt the vitamins would show much return after a couple weeks. Smells great and doesnt leave my hair oily or weighed down since I have fine hair. I usually will run shampoo twice during washing though I dont think its neccessary. I have before pics and will show comparison when I see a difference with growth especially around the temple area seems breakage occurs there often. Will buy again. Yes, discount would be great. But willing to pay without one since I like the product.D.V.
I have dry hair normally. I use the 1/8th c oil with 1/2 squeezed lime mixed together for my hair soak every 3 days. I have no problem with washing oil out of my hair. My hair is supper soft between oil soak/washing and make my natural hair color shine beautifully!!! Like Ariana says hair care products alone can only do so much! Limiting the amount of sugar and alcohol consumed greatly reduces hair loss! Also not brushing wet hair, or parting your hair or putting your hair up differently helps not damage hair! This castor oil is a must for someone trying to repair their edges!! I have been suffering with hair loss around my forehead and temples. I actually developed a bald spot and no longer felt comfortable wearing my hair back because of it. I have seen amazing results with this oil. I mix a few drops of it with my face moisturizer and apply around my hairline before bed every night. I have significant new growth to the point the bald spot is almost gone. This stuff really works. I absolutely LOVE this oil! Theres so many different ways to use this product and for the $10 price point it lasts a long time. I usually only use 1-2 pumps max and since this is a thicker oil a little goes a long way. You can add this oil to your conditioner or hair mask for that added moisture or add it to your lotion or moisturizer. For the past 2 weeks every night i will use 1 pump to my ring finger warm it up a little between my fingers and put this right under my eyes then put my eye cream on top.
