This is a great addition to my oster classic 76. I have used mine for 5 years and cut my hair every 3 weeks. I like a short cut and use a 1 on the side but I am thinning on top so I purchased the 1 1/2 for the top. I have never had to sharpen any of my blades in the 5 years but they can be sharpened several times before needing to be replaced. I have never owned better cutting clippers than my oster 76. GiGi is great brand. I've always used (+10 years) their jar of wax, strip-free, and although a bit messy, I've learned to use it, almost hassle-free. The main issue with this product is that the wand that slicks your hair down so nice, can't be lifted off your hair without grabbing them and pulling them up. So the top baby hairs get slicked, then an inch or two down your head when you try to lift the brush away it's pulling your hairs up, creating frizz. I really wanted to like this product, but it's quite a hassle to try to use, and I have to end up using another product to lay down the hairs this pulled up. I would not buy this again. I have bounced between hair volumizers for years. I have long very fine hair, but a lot of it, so it always ends up hanging limply no matter what I try. I was using Southern Belle but ran out- on a whim, I purchased this instead. I absolutely love it! I love that it is a spray and not a mousse. It distributes evenly and doesn’t feel crispy. Smells fresh, but not overwhelming. I have actually been getting compliments on my hair since starting to use this, and it’s one of the first times I’ve actually been happy with the way my hair looks after I blow dry it, instead of thinking ‘Well it’s as good as it’s going to get.’ I do roundbrush the top layer of hair and my crown to aid in volume but this really works wonders. I was purchasing this item every month because it was a good universal razor to use as I shave my head, face, and also to use on the rest of my body. I received this hairspray complimentary from Influenster to try and have been giving it a good go. First, it has a lovely scent. It’s fresh and that’s such a nice change from most hairspray. Secondly, it has a nice hold without making my hair even a little sticky. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn’t feel like it held my curls all day, that said, I have very long curl resistant hair and do feel like it would perform better on shorter hair or hair that needed less support. Also, I could still touch my hair and put my fingers through it…which I really liked. It is more than 16 ounces which will last me basically forever and I’m happy about that because they say if you continue to use it it is good for your hair. This product is just okay! It doesn't really do all that I want from a luxury product line like [brand:briogeo]. I've tried and love many of there other products but not this one! Especially with a Finishing Spritz I'm looking for high shine, a little bit of added hold and some additional lasting scent. The shine was just minimal. The beautiful desired added shine I saw when first applied seemed to kind of "wear out" or just plain went away after about an hour. The added hold was almost none existent. Now I wasn't looking for this product to hold my hair back in a ponytail but I was looking for it to atleast tame the fly aways. That lasted about 5 min before I saw flyaways again. This product is great! The bottle was a bit large and cumbersome to use because it was of the larger size, but the product itself was easy to use and comfortable. It did not make my hair crunchy or stiff. It gave a flexible hold that lasted for most of the day. I have thick slightly wavy Asian hair, and not many products are very good at making Styles hold. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. It has a good serum consistency and it adds beautiful shine. I will 100% buy it again and this actually makes me want to try out more from Verb!Holls
I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. Also love the pump on this product, however not the biggest fan of the sent, which I’m happy doesn’t stick around for long and usually have to smell the oil itself just to get a whiff of it. Long ago, I searched for YEARS for a product that just works well and I finally found it in this one! It has been in my bathroom, travel bag, gym bag, and anywhere else I need to style my hair for over a decade. I have rather short, medium hair and I find the pure-formance clay goes on easily and can be quickly spread throughout my hair making it quick and easy to style and texturize my hair. It also has a solid hold that can lasts the whole day, even in rather humid temperatures. It has a relatively faint smell that smells pretty good, IMHO. I own this in the Light Blonde. The fibers look like natural hair. The wig hugs the nape of neck like natural hair. Of all the different brands that I’ve purchased over the past 7 years, this was the most natural right out of the box. I did trim the front for bangs, which I think give wigs a more natural and real looking hairline. I’ll purchase another when the price is lower. By the way, I believe the size is average. I typically order petite if available, but this fit like a petite. So if you have a larger head, it may not fit properly. For me, it’s very comfortable. (I always had baby fine hair, but after many chemo treatments, my hair is half of what it is was. So not much there. But unlike my first purchase of this style, the density with this one is so very light in patches that I can easily see through to the cap on top — so I can only part it in one place. It’s like dealing with hair loss, which is disconcerting considering hair loss is why I buy wigs. I’ll just pretend it’s a mono part rather than mono top — this was a clearance purchase for me so I won’t inquire about a return. I just adore Wig Studio 1 so absolutely no knock there!
This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. She's going to be really great for the warmer months in particular. I'm very glad I bought her!Tricia L.
