I have straight fine hair but it is very thick in certain areas, and gets very frizzy and puffy without a serum and without being blow dried. This is the first product I've used from this brand and not only would I repurchase, I will look into buying other products because this one works so well. It makes my hair sleek and exceptionally shiny without drying it out (the only other product that makes my hair gleam like this is BioSilk which really dries out my hair), it's soft and polished and my frizz and flyaways are very well controlled, even in humid weather. I mix it with a lighter, more fluid oil to make it more viscous and easier to apply throughout my damp hair before I blow dry-brush it and I look like I've come from the salon every single time I use this. I also really like that it is a heat protectant too so I don't have to use multiple products in my hair. This did everything it claimed to on my hair, and yes there is very noticeable glitter in the product which gets left behind on your hands but it comes off when you rinse your hands under water so that's not even an issue.theb

I just got my hair done. I have a thick but wavy hair type. I got a blonde bolyage and normally my hair stands strong to being dyed. This time, I had some remnants of a previous hair dye and it made the bottom of my hair frizzy, damaged, and hard to maintain. Most importantly, my hair had a hard time transitioning from being down to being put up (in a bun, ponytail, etc.). I looked for a solution and came across this product and figured, with the price, it was worth a try. After one use, my hair feels great! It’s soft and sleek and I can put it up easily again. I have only used it once, so I can’t speak on the long term effects but so far so good!Emma

When I first dispensed the product, I was a bit concerned because it was very oily (to me, anyway) and I worried that it wouldn't absorb into my hair. But it actually did nicely, so that was a relief. The scent is light and I like it. Color Wow Pop & Lock Fizz Control and Glossing Serum worked quite well on my dry, (frizzy!) hair. From a lot of over-processing in the past, not too many products can decrease the frizz that much. I tried the serum on both wet and dry hair. On my wet hair I really was hoping that it would tame my frizz and it actually did a great job. On dry hair I was hoping for some shine to brighten up my dull hair. I worked it through the mid-shaft and it did a pretty good job making my hair look a bit shinier. The only negative I'd say is that the product claims to lock in your hair's color and add improve the texture. I didn't find that happened for me at all. But all in all I would say this is a good product for frizz control and shine, and especially if you are like me and have a difficult time finding a product that works well on frizzy hair.Seaangel4444

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. That’s a lot of long beautiful hair! her hair has always been long and longer than that my whole life so she’s certainly going to appreciate this oil! I received this product for free from ghd and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I really like this hair dryer! I typically use the Shark hairdryer so my opinion on this hair dryer is in comparison to the Shark. I found that the ghd dryer works fast without being overly hot or loud. It also makes my hair so shiny and dries it without frizz. My hair is naturally wavy so it’s very easy for it to look frizzy especially when being dried. The concentrator works very well. Keep in mind that I have had my previous hairdryer for nearly ten years….but I didn't think that there could be much difference between my old hairdryer and a new one. I was wrong and I've been really impressed by the GHD Helios. Benefits- – It doesn't get hot like my old hairdryer which used to make my head, hand, hair and me in general really hot. – It dries my hair noticeably quicker – The biggest benefit is that my hair is much much smoother. I thought battling with frizz was just down to my hair, but there's now very little frizz and I don't have to straighten it. The lack of frizz and style lasts for days. Other pros – the cool is actually cool and it is really well balanced. Cons- it is more than I would like to have spent on a hairdryer but it's been worth it.TJGHD

This has to be one of the best blow dryers I’ve used to date. Its sleek and stylish. One thing I love is the cool setting. Not many blow dryers have that and on top of that others you have to keep pressing on the cool button while with this one I can just press it once and use it like that. I like to use the cool setting after heat and it minimizes frizz. It does help tame some of my frizz and helps me add volume to my hair. My hair is medium in thickness. And it speeds up the drying process by so much!! I love that. One small critique I have is personally for me the lowest setting was too hot and it was hurting the back of my neck and tip of my ears. It doesn't do anything for my hair. I have thick wavy hair, and if I only use 2 pumps is as if I didn't put anything on it. I have to use about 5 or 6 pumps for it to do anything, and even then it doesn't make much difference.XRL

This is a great foam for wet wraps. I have relaxed hair and I’m a bit of a novice doing my hair on my own. I purchased this to wet wrap and dry under a hood dryer. It left my hair soft and moisturized. Some foams leave hair crunchy but this foam is reasonably priced with great ingredients. My hair looked like it was professionally done afterward.KM mom

I bought thus product to use to style my lace wig. It helped style my wig perfectly upon install. By day 3 of using the foaming lotion to style my baby hair i had some irritation in my forehead but it wasn’t too bad. I took a break for a few days from using it or styling my wig & when I used it again it started to severely burn my forehead. I wiped the product off & did continued use. I took my wig off 2 days later and had a chemical burn across my entire forehead. It burned so bad & took a while to clear up. My skin is far from sensitive so I know that wasn’t the issue. My hair is thick, wavy, coarse, and a little frizzy. Recently my hairdresser has been blowing out my hair and straightening it. Most of the time she can get my hair beautifully smooth just by using a round brush and a hair dryer. When I try to replicate this at home, I just feel like I don't have enough hands to do it well. I’ve been checking out hair dryers that have brush attachments as a potentially handier option than what I have. I had been looking at another dryer with only a round brush attachment, but after getting the T3 Airebrush, I'm very glad I chose this one with two brush attachments. I found that I liked the flat brush better than the round brush, even though I was not expecting to use the flat brush attachment at all! Since air is only coming out of one side of the flat brush as opposed to all sides of the round brush, the air and heat is more concentrated causing the hair to dry faster. The flat brush smoothed and straightened my hair very nicely. I used the round brush by winding the hair section and holding it for about 8-10 seconds then ending with a shot of cool air before unwinding. This took more time than I usually spend on my hair, but it got me at least 3 complements at work after drying my hair with the round brush! The round brush dries the root area faster and creates more volume. Positives: *Two brush styles for flexibility. *Beautiful product and packaging. *The ability to turn ions off and on. *Multiple heat settings, including cool. Negatives: *Works best after your hair has partially dried. Unless you air-dry your hair, you'll need a second blow dryer. *Once the cool air button is depressed it takes 8-10 seconds for the air to come out cool. *Cool button is oddly placed near the power button, so the power is easy to hit instead of the cool. The T3 Airebrush is a great package if you’re in the market a specialty product like this. While it does a great job, it misses getting 5 stars because of the need for an additional blow dryer and its imperfect implementation of the cool air shot. The addition of a simple diffuser and a tip to allow the unit to be used as an ordinary blow dryer would have made it a more complete package. I knew I needed this hot/blow dry brush in my life! For the last several years I’ve been regularly styling my hair with a blow dryer + round brush combo. The Airebrush Duo is everything I expected from a T3 product—it is thoughtfully designed, highly functional, quality performance, excellent results, and as all T3 products are absolutely gorgeous to look at. Love the two attachments for different looks, the different heat and air settings for the most hair customization I’ve seen in a brush, and a lovely volume and cool shot boost. This brush doesn’t get unbearably hot like others. The design of the brush itself is also very comfortable to hold and fairly lightweight. My arms don’t get as sore! I adore the brush design as the bristles and spacing of the air holes are so well designed—it’s very grippy and I don’t find that my hair blows all over or falls off the brush easily, so you get amazing tension and smoothness. It is also much easier to maintain than other brushes I’ve tried and I can easily remove any hair caught in the bristles. If you’re an avid blow dryer + round brush person, you won’t regret this purchase. Freeing up one hand is life changing and a lot less sore! I have fine hair but a lot of it and I find the perfect setting is the medium or highest air setting on heat level 2 or 3. About my hair: stick straight, baby fine, but tons of it. It's currently just past my shoulders in length, all one layer, no bangs, and gets oily fairly quickly/easily (I can usually only go every other day between washes, and usually involves at least some dry shampoo on the skip day) I've been wanting to try a blow dry brush for the longest time, but kept putting it off because I didn't want to spend money on yet another gadget that does what I can do with my already-owned round brush and hair dryer. Personally, I think I was right. I get the same results from this as I do with my round brush and Dyson hair dryer. That being said, it *is* handy to have the brush and blow dryer all in one, because you're not having to try to finagle the brush in a way that it isn't in the way of the warm air from the blow dryer but still productive. Usually, I just let my hair air dry in the mornings because I run out of time to blow dry and my hair dries pretty quickly, but now that it is getting colder, I will need to start blow drying my hair in the mornings, so this all-in-one will come in handy to at least speed up the drying. TL;DR: Cons: * the device has a really long handle which can be cumbersome and hard to manage * there are literally no instructions in the box on how to use the device, other than suggestions for temperature settings based on hair type. For someone who has never used something like this, that might be intimidating, because there are options on the dryer that aren't fully explained. * you're technically supposed to blow dry your hair to 80% dry and THEN use the device. When I tested it, I did it straight from being towel dried and had no issue (and it actually dried just as fast as it does when I use my hair dryer) Pros: * eliminates the need for a round brush and hair dryer * dries hair quickly * interchangeable brushes (paddle and round) * different temperature and air speed options for a personalized dry * power cord is a nice length, which was super helpful for me since the one and only outlet in my bathroom isn't near the sink/vanity Bottom line: I wouldn't personally go out of my way to get one, but now that I have it, I will keep using it. I have been a user of the red DAX wax for many many years and have tried so many different hair products and have always gone back to DAX because it seems to be the best hold for my hair. But, I live in Dubai and during the summer months temperatures can reach 50c so DAX being a wax gets very soft in the heat. I tried using gels but because my hair has a slight curl to it the gel doesnt pull and hold my hair straight like DAX does. Another problem with DAX, being petroleum based they have recently changed the smell of it so its starting to smell like engine oil So, I have hunted high and low for a water based product that stays firm in the heat, washes out easily and also one that smells great….. FINALLY… for me.. a product that does what it says on the tin This really is like putting wax in your hair, with the same hold as gel…. and washes out easily. My only tip is to make sure your hair is almost dry and it works better then probably not getting watered down. I have started to grow my hair during lockdown to try and achieve a nice man bun but as we all know we need to go through the ugly stage. I cut my hair in a way that I have an undercut comb over while growing my hair and needed something to hold my hair in place.I tried many regular products from supermarkets and they were bad. This is my favorite hair product for my hair! I have curls that are fine so I can’t use any product that is super heavy, but I need something that will prevent me from getting frizz. I have been using this product on my hair for a few years now and am amazed at how well it works. I do mix this product with a leave-in conditioner when I apply it to my hair. This used to be really good. My hairdresser used it on my hair once and it was so good I went out and bought my own. Loved it. Left my hair soft and completely frizz and flyaway free. I was so happy to find something weightless to achieve that and that felt like water on my hair instead of a heavy cream or serum. Then all of a sudden they decided to change the formula. Why did they have to do that?! The new formula had a strong smell and it actually created frizz in my hair, so bad that it lost all shape. Day 2 and 3 it started feeling stringy at the ends. I hated it. Now I’ll have to look for a new product to use that’ll hopefully give me the previous results. If they did this with their other products they’ll become the next DevaCurl. I have dirty blonde, thick, wavy, slightly frizzy hair, and I have never found a hair product that gave me soft, defined, frizz-free curls. This product gives me just that! I cannot believe that I finally found a product that leaves my hair soft and my curls defined. I was mesmerized by the results! Directions for use: After taking a shower, either towel dry, wring out, or air dry your hair until it is still wet, but not damp and full of water. Next, with a wide-tooth comb, brush hair so that there are no knots. Then, layer by layer, pick up pieces of your hair and spray thoroughly, making sure that you are spraying the sections where you want your curls/waves defined. I go ahead and spray my entire head of hair – BC IT'S JUST THAT GOOD! Comb through after spraying. After about 30 minutes to an hour, I go back and brush out my hair with the wide-tooth comb again, just to make sure my hair doesn't get crunchy. If you don't comb your hair again after spraying, your hair may end up more crunchy than you'd want; if you do comb it again, your hair will have no crisp, and it will be as soft as can be. I hope this is helpful!! I am just so happy that I found a hair product I love.SSimone

I have very naturally curly hair and have tried an extremely wide variety of products and brands over the years. I was very skeptical with this one claiming to be all products in one, but it truly is. I couldn’t believe what my hair looked like when all I did was spray it in, comb it through, and let air dry. Because it is light it does not weigh my curls down and my hair dries quicker as well because I’m not using heavier styling creams or gels. I’m really pleased with this product. I even love the removable lock on the sprayer so you can take it with you without any mess. Where they could improve is the shape of the bottle. The rectangle is not the easiest to handle. Also, if you have longer hair like I do, the whole bottle was gone in about five uses. Please sell travel size and jumbo refills. Thanks!squirrelydevil

Professional Sebastian shaper plus extra hold hairspray feels so natural after spraying it on your hair. It comes out in a nice wide spray so you can get it on evenly. It does not have a harsh smell and it doesn’t make your hair shine after application. I like to use a puffy style on the top of my head and this kept it up and puffy for me for most of the day, and it’s been windy this weekend. The next test will be a rock concert and I’m gonna tested to see if I can last me the night. I bet it does. I am so happy that I got to try this free through Influenster!jennifer.p

The delivery was great! The price was great! However, sometimes (and this has happened to me twice) when more than one item is ordered (in this case I ordered three Sebastian Hard to Hold Hair Spray) it seems that one isn't as good as it should be. Last time I ordered three, two of them stop spraying when the can was half full. I always put the nozzle under running water before I spray to get rid of the residue, but to no avail. I haven't used this order of spray yet as I just got it so I will see what it does. I love Sebastian and the ordering was just great. Received quicker than I thought. Another clogged nozzle. So tired of this. Agree with all those experiencing this problem and giving bad reviews. Just too expensive to keep throwing half the can away. This time its three quarters full and stupid big spurts are all that come out when I try to spray it. You really do need to look into this matter and make a change. I have tried several remedies to unclog the nozzle sometimes it works most times it does not. I have even tried taking a nozzle from a working can and putting it on a clogged can still does not work. I think there is something in the can that I cannot see that is clogged. So flustered! UGH!!!!! Anymore suggestions as to a solution to this problem besides hot water, storing upside down???Cher

I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I will never use this product again. And the snapping people comment about is real and with extreme hair thinning.Lisa R

I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. My product was never received. This is the first time this has happed so I purchased the product. Sebastian hair products are very high end products and I LOVE IT! My style stayed wavy all day. Here is the best part: my style stayed wavy in high humidity! Usually my style will deflate like last week’s birthday balloons in Maryland humidity. I was given this product by #Influenster and #Sebastian for my fair and honest review. I am 56 and have thin, fine hair. My hair is shoulder length and thinning due to RA medications. My hair has just enough wave to it to be annoying, lol. Not enough to blow and leave natural, so I typically use a flat iron to straighten the waves. Generally, within a couple of hours the few waves that I have come back and my hair looks like I didn’t even bother to style it. With Sebastian Shaper Medium Hold I was able to actually get a bit of height with my hair and the gold was really great. I used a flat iron and styled it and several hours later it continued to hold. My hair was not stiff and I do tend to touch my hair often, so this hairspray has excellent endurance. I also am in love with the light scent that it has. Does not smell at all like typical hair spray. I will definitely be buying this product again. My hair does not hold curl. Ever. Not without a perm. But with this hairspray, I was able to curl my hair this morning, and almost 16 hours later, after humidity, after brushing it out, there is still bounce and waves. I am looking everywhere for this magic in a can!! I will buy it again because it works, and it doesn't leave my hair dirty after use. I even have curls two days later! I'm so impressed with the Hive Bar. This is the first bar shampoo I've tried, and I had all of the same concerns everyone else does — will the bar last as long as traditional shampoo or will I have to keep buying new bars was more often? Does it even clean your hair that well? I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to find the answers to these questions. I bought a shampoo bar and conditioner set in April 2021. I just finished with the bar and still have a while to go with the conditioner bar. I wash my hair about 3 times a week, and my husband would use the bar occasionally (maybe once or twice a week). I keep my bars on the window ledge in the shower, which doesn't receive any direct water. I replaced the shampoo with Hive's blue Moisturize shampoo bar. I found that the green Maintain bar lathered up much much better, and I prefer it to the blue Moisturize bar. With liquid shampoo, my routine was always to wash twice to get a good lather, but I never had to do that with the green Maintain bar. I was honestly surprised that it would be better than traditional shampoo in that way! It is true that the conditioner bar and shampoo bar are both green, but I never had trouble telling them apart because the conditioner bar is more "shiny" and the shampoo bar is more "matte". Plus, I just keep the shampoo on the left and the conditioner on the right, so it wasn't really difficult to keep them apart. I highly recommend the Hive bar (especially the green Maintain bar!)Jule

The shampoo bars lasted about 6-7 weeks and the conditioner lasted 2 months (fine, shoulder-length hair, shampoo and condition daily). Before, I was using Pureology and loved it, but hate the harsh ingredients and the plastic bottles. Now I prefer HiBar. It look my hair about 4-5 weeks to become accustomed to it, during that time , there were a few days when it seemed my hair was less shiny (perhaps because my hair was used to the harsh chemicals Pureokogy uses to give hair that silky shine). Now my hair feels really clean- no residue, it feels smooth and looks and feels healthy. It de-tangles quickly with use of the conditioner and the shampoo lathers well. The conditioner, for me doesn’t lather but I don’t think is supposed to. It goes on well, better than other brands I have tried. Also, there is a website called the Reduce Report (that is how I found out about HiBar). This website says that some shampoo bars need an acidic rinse after use (due to the ph of the shampoo) but that HiBar does not require an acidic after rinse. I love how HiBar makes my hair look and feel. The scent is pleasant and it does not stay in my hair too long (I don’t want it to), but that’s my experience. Also it is great for travel.Sharon

I have tried only two solid bar conditioners, this one being the first. I love how the packaging is so minimal and entirely paper and cardboard, and I was surprised by the size of the bar when I took it out. I was worried about how long such a tiny thing could last. Honestly, I haven't timed its usage but I feel like it's given me around two months so far, and I scrub a lot into my head at a time. And there's STILL a bit left in the bar. When it starts getting small it really does become difficult to use on your head, but there are soap bags you can get specifically for these kinds of shampoos/conditioners to help minimize that struggle. I might cave in and get one of those eventually. When it comes to using it it does not lather or produce a lot of slick residue like a bottled conditioner would, or even other conditioner bars. It's a pretty firm and solid bar that resists getting too soft if allowed to drain and dry properly between uses. This is how such a tiny bar lasts so long. It's slippery to touch but not quick to deform in shape. After scrubbing it into my head I run it through my hair with a wide tooth comb and my fingers, let it sit while I complete the rest of my shower routine, and then rinse it out as the final step. Most importantly, I love how it works with my hair. I have low porosity hair, somewhere between a 2C/3A curl type. I'm still discovering what works best for my hair and this bar has been working wonders in getting my curls consistently moisturized, bouncy, and not a complete frizzy mess. Between the two conditioner bars I've tried so far I am going back to this one for sure. It's the clear winner of the two.The Reviewinator

I'm glad I am not the only one with the same issue. The control force nozzle is constantly clogged unlike every other hair spray that I have ever bought. It is sticky on the hair and the "scent" stinks. I'm not sure how this can be an AVEDA product. The science of Pure flower and plant essences???? Really? I don't know of any flowers that smell like this. Would definitely not recommend this hairspray. And it's expensive too….! What a giant waste of money.Andypandy

I'm a guy that discovered this product after researching hair sprays. I've been using this product for 8 months and can say this is one of the best, if you don't count the awful nozzle that clogs all the time. PROS: No flake, great hold, doesn't leave any residue CONS: smells weird, nozzle has progressively gotten worse over the past few months. I received a replacement since one broke after the first use and the new one has been clogging repeatedly. After that, I purchased another one and it's having a clogging issue. I have to clean the spray nozzle after every use, otherwise it clogs and doesn't disperse evenly. I wish the nozzle were replaceable with a different brand I use. Maybe I've unfortunately received a string of products with quality control issues or the product just clogs easily, but I never had issue for the first few months when I first started to use the product.Matt

Where do I start? I bought this product at a salon after staff member recommended it to me. The spray itself is very heavy and when you try to brush your hair after application, it almost tears your hair out. I use hairspray a lot and I have never encountered a spray that was so difficult to brush out. The other issue with this product is the nozzle. I was told when I bought it, to rinse the nozzle after I applied the spray to my hair. This seems stupid for a spray that costs over $40. Even if you do wash the nozzle, there are times that the spray drips out anyway. I am very, very disappointed in this product. I have used hairsprays from l'Oreal, Moroccan Oil, Joico, just to name a few and have never had these kind of problems. There are many superior hairsprays available and at better prices, too. Let me begin by saying I would have given this half a star or less, but since I had to give it at least one star, it is a reflection of how I feel about the color. Pro: I love the orange color and that’s it. Cons: it’s VERY loud; it does not get hot, as in hot shouldn’t be printed on the dryer because it doesn’t even get warm enough to heat up my round brush; it takes FOR-E-VER to actually dry hair; it claim to not cause frizzy hair, which is completely accurate because it causes limp, flat hair. I start this negative Review understanding the fact that everybody’s hair is different. My hair is a loose wave that I dry with a diffuser every day, I typically use high heat and high speed. This blow dryer only seems to have heat when it is on high, on low it is warm only. However the high option with the diffuser is still excessive amount of wind. Therefore curls get blown out and look straight but low is too low, again with little heat. I suppose this blow dryer would be great for someone that’s blowing their hair out straight however for curls and use with the diffuser I would not recommend this blow dryer.BBLongIsland

As other reviewers stated, I couldn't see the difference of length in my hair by using this but as someone with natural hair, this product definitely provides the moisture you need when your hair is on the dry side. Using too much will leave you with major regrets. It can be heavy and super oily. It's amazing on braids or if you get sew-in weaves.krystyl.m

I’ve been using this line of hair products for a while, and it is a great moisture lock for 4b/4c hair! I highly recommend using this product with your favorite leave in-conditioner, as it mixes well with just about any! I paired this grease with after I washed my hair and performed a twist based protective style on my hair, and after few days, my hair is still moisturized!! The only cons to this product is that if you solely use it on your hair, it will be extremely greasy and it does have a slight smell to it. After you get done rubbing it into your hair, the surrounding area will smell like the grease, haha. To alleviate the smell, don’t just use this on your hair alone. Also, if you happen to pat or scratch your hair, there will be some residue on your hands. To yield the best results, pair it with another product!!ace.r

My boyfriend's hair dresser uses this on his hair and he loves it, but does not like to pay the higher amount for this product. As a girl, I know that you get what you pay for when it comes to hair care and hair services. I spend a great amount on getting my hair cut and colored and therefore will spend a great amount on great hair products to keep it healthy and maintain the color. My boyfriend always buys a different brand that is less expensive and I swear he uses more of the product just to get the desired look he gets from just a small amount of this product – but I can't convince him so he continues to buy a product he is not as happy with. This is a review for other Asians who have difficult hair, not the hair models that could make anything work. The product doesn't work well for the average thick Asian hair if you plan to style it against the natural direction your hair grows (e.g. styling your hair back for typical disconnected undercuts, etc.). The hold just isn't strong enough by itself. I want to start this review by stating that unless a product significantly impresses me, I do not give out a perfect score or rating. With that being said, this is by far the best hair styling product I have ever used. I have been styling my hair with a short, spiked (messy) look for about 5 years. I have relatively thin black hair with not much volume. My hair is long up top with short sides. If I don't put anything in my hair my hair is flat and boring. I've used many hair products to help compensate for my lack of volume. From gel to pomade and even just conditioner, nothing really helped. If I do use product, it seems to wear out easily and won't keep my hairdo I've spent so much time on. I thought I found the right product in the American Crew line, but when I tried this Clay pomade by Baxter, I've never touched anything else. The product itself smells great and can easily be washed out of your hands and hair. It also is kept in a great quality glass container. I like the matte look from this clay pomade and helped keep my hair up throughout the day. I've gotten many compliments on how my hair looks and smells. I take a shower every morning and do my hair, even if I don't go out, because otherwise my hair would annoy the F*** out me and just hang over my face. I usually style after I've changed and towel dried my hair. I find it easier to style when my hair is a little wet, but not damp. If my hair has dried up already, I can just run my hands through the water and shake it around my hair to moisten it up. I like my hair more natural looking and I usually just use my fingers to run my hair back to a more casual and natural comb back style. A little goes a long way. I can run my fingers through my hair throughout the day and still keep the shape I want. I can't do that with anything else. My hair keeps the volume I want and actually keeps it up the whole day. Other products would fail me mid day and even flatten out.Best hair product I've ever used. It has a matte finish that works great with dark hair – doesn't give that shiny/oily look. A little goes a long way with this stuff. Less than 1/4 of the jar has lasted me almost an entire year. When I ride my motorcycle, I hate when my helmet flattens out my hair and stays flat. With other products I've used, I can never get my hair back to the way I wanted. With Baxter's Clay Pomade, I can take my helmet off, run my fingers through my hair no problem, and bring it to the way I wanted without adding anything. I absolutely love Baxter's Clay Pomade. This stuff is amazing! It’s a custard type of product(even though it says cream) so it has a massive hold and it helps weigh my hair down a little which I need for stretched hair. It also leaves my hair really smooth and moisturized. And it smells amazing! You’re probably seen me say that in a lot of my reviews but I can’t help it. A lot of brands have amazing smelling products. Which is great, kudos to them and keep it coming please. My only gripe is that it’s a teeny over the price I normally pay for hair products. This is the best hair product I have ever used in my life. I don't know how it works or what's in it, but it could be illegal for all I care. It's THAT GOOD. my hair is long, extremely thick, and somewhat coarse. I have been getting Japanese straightening every 6 months for 10 years, and salon hair color every 5 weeks for 15 years. My hair is pretty tough but definitely gets dry/tangly, and split ends are a real problem. I recently started dying my hair black, so the little white split ends are quite noticeable. After only TWO USES almost all my split ends are gone, no more tangles at the end of my hair, and it's so soft and shiny. I dug around in my hair to find some of the bothersome split ends in the middle of my hair, and I literally could not find them. They've vanished. If I had known how amazing this would be I would have taken a before pic, but here's the after. My hair hasn't looked or felt this shiny and healthy in years. After I wash my hair with whatever shampoo and conditioner I'm trying at that time, I use the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer on my wet hair. The directions say to use a small amount, but I use a little extra for my bleached and dry tresses on my shoulder length layers, focusing where the heat hits the ends. (I used my first bottle of that product last year, and I have yet to find something that compares. At that point, I was using it as a heat protector and detangler.) After I've finger-combed that through, I rub a single pump of the Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Split End Mender between fingers and massage it into the ends of my hair. Seriously. My hair is the softest it has been in AGES!!! I did some damage with a well-meaning at-home-red-to-pink-in-breast-cancer-solidarity-attempt. (Why did I think using lift and developer on 8 years of red dye without stripping it was a good idea??) Ever since, my hair has been a little difficult for obvious reasons. Bad heat protectors, bad advice, bad googles, and low quality shampoo/conditioner led me to damage I didn't know how to fix even after an Olaplex treatment. So why is my hair so soft and touchable? Eva NYC Magic Mane. I fully believe it is the truth. Only 4 stars because I want to give it more time before I commit to a "perfect product" review. I was introduced to the Eva NYC brand in my last PINCHme box I received before receiving this one with the 'Mane Magic Split End Mender' in it. I absolutely fell in LOVE with the Eva NYC brand upon using that first product sample I was able to try via the lovely folks at PINCHme. So, when I opened this box to see yet another Eva NYC product…i was obviously super happy!! And even more so because it is specifically a split end mender as the name 'Mane Magic Split End Mender' told me very clearly. Immediately upon receiving this complimentary bottle of Potion 9 leave in treatment from Influenster and Sebastian Professionals; for testing purposes, I put it to use and I must say that this should be called “Magic Potion #9”! Not only did it magically tame my naturally curly hair from frizzy and unruly to manageable and looking healthy, it also magically disappeared. I liked the texture, it was a lightweight, smooth and silky like texture; not sticky. I mostly applied it when my hair was completely dry, using it to refresh my hair during times it looked too frizzy or unruly. I would spritz my hair with water and then apply Potion 9 mostly at the ends and wherever it needed it. I used this almost everyday. I received this serum complimentary for my review. When I received this hair treatment, I was excited as my chemically treated hair has been looking brassy/dry. After shampooing and conditioning, I used a couple of pumps and ran it through my hair focusing on my ends. I noticed it has a slight scent and oxidizes to an orangey color. When my hair dried, it was soft and less frizzy which I liked. I used it later on my dry hair and as you can see on the photo, it helped smooth out my ends. I would like this product more if it was scentless as my husband has terrible allergies. I’ve been using it when I travel without him as I really like the product!samantha .p

I received this product from influencer.com and sebastian.com to try for my honest opinion. I gave this a three star because while I loved the smell of it my partner did not. It didn't seem to do a lot for my hair other than maybe make it a little softer. I tried this with wet and damp hair and did not any difference than normal. The bottle is very nice. And works very well by just simply pushing down on the pump. Like I said I enjoyed the scent and it seems to stay in your hair for quite a while however my partner could not stand me wearing it. The other thing that made me go with a three-star is because if you put too much product in your hair it becomes very sticky and tacky the way that you can fix that is by letting it air dry and then using a brush to brush your comb it out and then the stickiness will be gone. Overall the product wasn't okay hair product.Amy

When my granddaughters hair became a unruly mess that she couldn't tame l introduce d her to VO5. She's found different ways to use it that I've never thought of. She uses it before she shampoos. My Grandmother and mother used this item before there were so many other brands and choices for silkening hair. I cant say if its good for your hair, or not. But it does not contain sulfates if thats a concern. A very small amount goes a long way. I could not find it in any stores, so was thrilled to be able to order it online.
