i Purchase 2 of these items and receive this item Friday 2, October 2020 Now i have to return them because they don't work as advertised As a long time user of Wahl Clipper, I was able to use their clipper to trim my beard, mustache, and sideburns, this is my 8th clipper for the last 20 years, so to the point these clippers are terrible, they can't even trim my forearm hair or toilet tissue with and without the trimming attach, they have some power issue when you attach the hair adapter, it would stop the blade from moving; if the blades stop they can burn the hair clipper. it looks like they're getting worst and the gimmick doesn't work, sometimes simple is best. by the way, the trimmer feature stops working as soon as I try to trim forearm hair. I bought the travel size of this shampoo to test out how it would do on my hair before I splurged on the big bottle. I was also a bit wary of the reviews that claimed it caused hair loss. I have wavy and thick hair with low porosity. I have a very dry, itchy, flakey scalp as well. I read that tea tree oil could help soothe your scalp, so I thought I would try it. I washed my hair as directed. Used about 3 dime sizes for my whole head and massaged it into my scalp. It lathers alright. Not much suds. That made me think that it wasn't cleaning my hair enough so I was tempted to put more shampoo on my head but I did not. The smell is very strong, but it does not linger in your hair post-wash. Usually, my head begins to itch after I wash my hair, but with this shampoo, there was no itch! So I was pleasantly surprised by that. I finished off my hair with the tea tree special conditioner. After I finished showering and dried my hair with a microfiber towel, I noticed no residue on my hair and it felt very clean! I couldn't see any flakes and my scalp wasn't itchy! Just from this, I am very impressed with this shampoo. To address the hair loss comments, I did not notice any significant hair loss when I used the shampoo. I am the type to shed a lot of hair as it is since I have thick hair. I also wash my hair about once a week, so I tend to lose a bit of hair because of that because stray hairs build up over that time. So this might not be good for someone who has thin hair or shampoos frequently. But for me, it works great. Hair loss was about the same or slightly less than usual. I washed my hair about 5 days ago and my hair is a lot less flakey and itchy. It still feels relatively clean with some oil started to build up on my hair. Best shampoo out there for oily dandruff ! Used a $400 prescription shampoo for 15 years and of course it worked, however one just can't Afford to keep using a $400 shampoo every day at a 30 day prescription. I'm a licensed stylist and always heard and was taught that Tea Tree has healing ingredients that Actually work . Never had the chance to use it. I got the shampoo and conditioner combo and used it for the first time today. Here are my thoughts: The "tingly" feeling is real. At first I thought it was burning my scalp but it's not. I have extreme dandruff and have tried RX shampoos to help that never worked. My scalp at least "feels" clean. I've seen a lot of reviews about hair falling out and mine did not at all. I have hashimotos disease which causes hair loss to an extreme so I expected clumps again. NOPE. Make sure to brush through your hair before you wash it! This prevents any extra breakage. The small is very strong. I love essential oils for their healing properties but the smells are awful. No exception here! Any tee tree product will smell like this BTW. DISCLAIMER: tee tree can be poisonous in raw form. If you have allergies, do not use this. For people with psoriasis this will not be for you. Keep out of reach from pets as it is poisonous to cats and dogs even as a topical product. Anything with essential oil products can be potentially dangerous and I urge you to research before you buy! I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. By day 3 of using the foaming lotion to style my baby hair i had some irritation in my forehead but it wasn’t too bad. I took a break for a few days from using it or styling my wig & when I used it again it started to severely burn my forehead. I wiped the product off & did continued use. This used to be really good. My hairdresser used it on my hair once and it was so good I went out and bought my own. Loved it. Left my hair soft and completely frizz and flyaway free. I was so happy to find something weightless to achieve that and that felt like water on my hair instead of a heavy cream or serum. Then all of a sudden they decided to change the formula. Why did they have to do that?! The new formula had a strong smell and it actually created frizz in my hair, so bad that it lost all shape. Day 2 and 3 it started feeling stringy at the ends. I go ahead and spray my entire head of hair – BC IT'S JUST THAT GOOD! Comb through after spraying. After about 30 minutes to an hour, I go back and brush out my hair with the wide-tooth comb again, just to make sure my hair doesn't get crunchy. If you don't comb your hair again after spraying, your hair may end up more crunchy than you'd want; if you do comb it again, your hair will have no crisp, and it will be as soft as can be. I have very naturally curly hair and have tried an extremely wide variety of products and brands over the years. I was very skeptical with this one claiming to be all products in one, but it truly is. I couldn’t believe what my hair looked like when all I did was spray it in, comb it through, and let air dry. Because it is light it does not weigh my curls down and my hair dries quicker as well because I’m not using heavier styling creams or gels. I’m really pleased with this product. I even love the removable lock on the sprayer so you can take it with you without any mess. Where they could improve is the shape of the bottle. The rectangle is not the easiest to handle. I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. This nourishing hair oil from Sol de Janeiro performs pretty well, and I love that it has the classic scent from their Bum Bum cream! The bottle is beautiful and made of weighted glass, giving it a lux feel. The formula is rich and definitely on the thicker side, but once warming in between my fingers I am able to apply it easily. Just 1-2 pumps is enough to disperse throughout my ends to mid-length without going overboard (I have relatively long hair). I can also confirm that it works to calm frizzies, makes my hair more manageable and gives a nice shine. While it is nourishing to a degree as well, I wish it delivered more moisture into my hair. Adding more doesn’t seem to do much for hydration, while adding too much just makes my hair look greasy and slick as expected. I really enjoy this hair oil, especially the smell! The fragrance is the same as the original fragrance in the rest of the line. The smell is really heavy, but not overwhelming. It does calm down, but you’ll still be able to smell it all day. I have long thick hair with dry ends and rely on oils and and sprays to keep it soft and manageable. Most oils I will use a dime sized portion, but this product comes in a glass bottle with a dispenser that only puts out one drop at a time. The consistency is tick, even sticky, more like a serum than a runny oil. Being so thick, using more than a drop or 2 does leave my hair greasy. It’s well worth the price and I’ll definitely repurchase for the fragrance alone, but it won’t replace my other products that I still need for tangles and frizz. My only real complaint is that a glass bottle and oily hands don’t mix – I’ve dropped it several times and worry it will shatter one of these days. Ok, so I bought this on the app early access day and will give my honest review. I use many different oils as I like to switch up my products every time I wash my hair, including Moroccan oil, olaplex oil, Dae prickly pair oil, ouia oil, gisou and briogeo don’t despair repair hair oil. Compared to all of those, this is by far the thickest oil for sure. I have thick straight hair and a lot of it, so I can get away with a good amount of oil. I am a stay at home mom so I have times where I actually use products to style my hair, and times where I put in more nutrient moisturizing products to just let it sit in a bun. This oil is definitely better distributed on damp hair, on dry hair it’s kind of thick and skips as you run your fingers through but I have to say it smells AMAZING and does have a few unique ingredients which I look for when buying hair care. With that being said this is definitely more of a treatment oil for me that a styling oil and it gives self care vibes with the smell so I give it a 5 star! Would be nice if it was slightly less thick but I’m sure that’s due to the unique ingredients. Sorry for the long review! Came out way, way darker than expected. I would describe the color as “soft black” and definitely not “medium brown”. I had to pay a stylist to fix it. I also have been experiencing a significant amount of hair shedding since using this. My stylist confirmed that my hair definitely looks thinner. My stylist recommended this to me and I've been using it for almost three years. It's okay but I wish it held better, almost like a mousse does, without the consistency of mousse. It really brings out the natural curl in my hair. I prefer using clarifying shampoo and then leaving this on for 15 minutes. My hair feels noticeably soft and healthy. I never knew how curly my hair naturally was until I started using this. I would say I would have identified my hair as 2A before using this mask and a 2C after. I basically look like Taylor Swift on her debut album now. I do think it is expensive but for what it does I am happy with the price for it. I find that I do not use much at all each time I use it so it lasts a long time. I have experienced hair loss with it but nothing that would worry me. I would say normally I would lose 5-10 hairs in the shower but now it is more like 10-15. It isn't anything that I am overly concerned about especially considering how soft and healthy my hair looks now.MrsRichards
This conditioner left my hair silky and soft. It claims to detangle the hair and that’s true. Other than that I didn’t notice anything special about this. I think it does the job for softening and detangling and that’s about it. The other claims I don’t know about. It’s also overpriced for something that’s not special. I can get something cheaper that does the same thing. The reason why it only has 3 stars is because of the smell. It doesn’t smell that good. It reminds me of a more masculine scent. I smell musk or a woody note. I know many people like that and for me, it’s OK. I rather have a more feminine scent for my hair products. So I wound up buying this because I really wanted a better conditioner and have noticed over the years that every salon and every hair dresser I go to uses this in my hair. My hair always feels great after so maybe this was the key. Let me tell you how amazing it is. My hair has never been so soft and shiny. I bought this to perm my mother's hair. She has complained for a while now that her hair has gotten thinner. So I googled how to perm hair, ordered this perm and some rods, and got to work. The worst part was that it took so long to roll the hair on the rods. As you can see from the picture the curls turned out very well and really lasted a long time. I liked it so much that I ordered one and permed my own hair. This is the first perm I've had in several years! Mine also did well and I have so much more body. There was no noticeable damage to our hair. Mine is color treated, my mother's is not. I should note, too, that we both have thyroid issues but there was no problem with this perm "taking". This is packaged for shipping with inadequate padding. I have ordered several times recently and the boxes inside the shipping package are crushed, torn and damp from the permanent wave solution leaking. This shampoo is holy grail. My hair felt better after one use! Hubby bought me the huge shampoo and conditioner I loved it so much! I recommend this to all ladies, especially those who have bleached or dyed hair. It makes my frizzy, wavy hair manageable and soft. It doesn’t have an intense smell, but it does smell good! Although this makes my hair shiny and silky, my hair is falling out excessively when I brush and in the shower. I know you lose up to a 100 strand a day, but I'm losing an unusual amount. Never experienced this. I brushed through my whole head last night and had a whole clump of hair. Took a shower the next morning, then brushed again, and lost another huge handful of hair. It hadn't even been a whole day. It wasn't a gradual fall out of hair. I can only assume it is this shampoo because I don't use any other products on my head, other than its a ten miracle leave in product to detangle, but that never caused unusual fall out. I wanted to love this because it smells really good in the bottle. I used in for the first time and when my hair air dried (I rarely blow dry anymore) it felt heavy, brittle and dry, but my roots were greasy, and my scalp started itching. I thought maybe it was a fluke and I was in a hurry and maybe didn't wash it out well. I used it a second time and really made sure to shampoo everything and rinse well. Same thing. I'm on my fourth liter of this and never going back! A liter lasts a long time (I have a lot of hair) so this product is great value. I have very long, fine hair which I really like to wear curly. It gets weighed down by products very easily and then is just wavy and flat. I scrunch this gel into my hair when it's still soaking wet in the shower, and after a lot of scrunching and toweling with a microfiber, I let it air dry. It's not often i find something for my curly hair that just works and i need to review to hopefully help others in their curly hair journey. I have a mixture of tight and loose curls and ringlets but my hair is prone to frizz. It doesn't matter what i put on my hair and i have tried everything, 2 days later i have a halo of frizz. This cream is amazing, definitely a holy grail for me. I use it as a curl cream (leave in) and 6 days later i still have no frizz. This is unheard of. I love the creamy texture, don't be put off by the oil in the name as it's not greasy at all. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, defined and shiny. Yes shiny, something curly girls know is hard to achieve. I follow up with either the souffle or gel and hover over with my diffuser so as not to break the cast. Then finally use the serum to scrunch in. My hair has never looked or smelled so good. Curlsmith gifted me a free sample of this conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. This cream is rather rich, but you need very little product, so it doesn't weigh down the hair. I'd start with a dime-sized amount and add more as needed. I tried it on two different textures, 3C and 4C, both shoulder length. I got the best results using a nickel-sized and quarter-sized amount, respectively. It makes both curls and coils look healthy, shiny, and hydrated. It doesn't weigh hair down, and I love, most of all, that it doesn't leave hair feeling soft, not crunchy. It looks fabulous and actually feels like hair! I have to note that following the directions is crucial for my desired results, especially on coily hair. I comb it out completely before washing, and constantly rake my fingers through it while washing and conditioning to keep it detangled Once the Oil-In Cream is raked through soaking wet hair, I use the recommended praying hands method to cover the strands as best I can, but I also gently tug as I go to elongate the coils. I find this helps immensely with shrinkage. Tie it up and fluff it in the morning and it's good for 2-3 days without reapplication, unless you feel like a little additional moisture. If you wash weekly, it doesn't leave hair a sticky, greasy mess, either. Overall, while using this cream takes a few extra minutes of care, the results are well worth the effort. Also, considering the amount needed even on thick hair, this jar holds a good amount of product. This is my first experience with the Curlsmith brand, and I'm delighted that it does what it says. So I have very hard, chlorinated water in my apartment and my hair is platinum blonde. I started noticing that my hair was getting this ugly yellow tone to it and purple shampoo was not helping (I use Matrix.) I also recently started using a toning mask (Pravana.) Although those seemed to help, it would be short lived because on the days I'd wash with a moisturizing shampoo, I was noticing the yellow tones again. I went into Ulta and asked the sales associate which shampoo would be good for hard water, and she recommended this or Living Proof. I decided to go with this because it was not as expensive, and you get more product than the Living Proof kit. I have only washed with this once but let me tell you my hair looks so much BRIGHTER, and way less yellow! It also left my hair soft, clean and refreshed. My scalp feels amazing. I brought this on a trip to Phoenix, AZ to use after swimming to remove chlorine. I have bleached hair (Asian dark brunette to blonde/grey) and did not want to risk my bleached hair turning green. I have an oily scalp from seborrheic dermatitis and probably because it's just oily so I discovered Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2 for oily hair and it's the best. I buy a salon size at Paul Mitchell or a buy one get one at Ulta, works and lasts forever (see full review). But after living somewhere with soft water my whole life then moving to somewhere that's 100/100 on the hard water scale has been hard on my hair. I looked into Shampoo 3, which I associate with chlorine because decades ago when I was a swimmer I used this to protect my blonde hair. It was a different formula that was green then. Now my hair is dark blonde with darker roots (natural blonde) so it shows oil and buildup well. I have all kinds of filters to help with the hard water, but when it's that bad filters don't do much. This shampoo has a light blue tint and a subtle grapefruit scent. Shampoo 2 is clear with a softer lemon scent. I'm sensitive to dyes and fragrance and this doesn't bother me at all. I used this once a week and it really helps! I have so much volume after using this and my roots look great for days (I use another shampoo and wash my hair every other day). I really like this. I probably would need a purple shampoo to take the brassiness out of my blonde but I'm happy that this lets me go longer between washing my hair and does seem to remove some hard water buildup. This is drying. I just use it around my roots and then use a hair mask. If you have dry hair, then get in chlorine, then use this yes it will dry out your hair. But for my needs this has replaced shampoo 2

I have medium length and someone thin hair. I found this shampoo to be very lightweight and while it did add shine, moisture, and smoothness, I didn’t find a difference between this shampoo vs drug store brand. My hair is not dyed and already very hydrated so unfortunately I didn’t see any difference. It does smell nice and my scalp wasn’t dry. The ends of my hair were smooth and didn’t look dry. My husband also used it as he has dry scalp and he felt that it was helpful in keeping his scalp moisturized. On days where I blew dry my hair, it was silky smooth. On days where I air dried, it was fluffy and smooth. My hair was not oily after 4 days without any products. I rarely touch my hair to avoid transferring oils. For the price, I wished it was a bigger bottle. I did use the IGK Dream Hair Conditioner after shampooing. I got this product in a FabFitFun box. I’ll start off saying that the actual product is great. It lathers nicely, smells great and my hair feels awesome after using it. 5/5 for the product itself. Where it loses points is the packaging. It gives hardcore dollar store vibes. The bottles are not opaque or at least have an opaque line to see the product and how much is left. Due to the font size and style and busyness of the label and also the above comment, it’s really really difficult to tell which is the shampoo and conditioner. I got this product for free in exchange of my honest review. First off packaging is pretty, price wise I say it’s a bit steeped for a regular sized shampoo bottle. Of course I know it’s a vegan product so a lot of work went into production I would say? The product consistency is thick and once I lathered onto my med length hair I find that I needed to pour more so I can get the lather I need for my hair. It felt a bit stripping but I liked the feeling of it being really cleaned. Smell is nice not too fragrantly. I don't blow dry nor do I dye my hair. I use hair creams and sometime flexible styling hair sprays not related to this brand. With that said, with this shampoo I sometimes have to lather twice to really feel like I fully removed any hair products, other than that, this shampoo does lather well & has a soft smell to it. It's winter here at the moment and this shampoo is not helping with my winter dandruff, which it's okay, I scalp detox once a week & that helps for a while, not this brand either, but I'm mentioning it incase you think it helps moisturize your scalp. As for conditioner, I use a different brand too & thanks because I like how my conditioner defines my curls but unfortunately this other brand conditioner does not add volume, niece I'm done with what I have, I'll try the conditioner for Ouidad.Discovering curly hair products
This curl cream would be great for you if you’re not looking to have too much hold in your hair. It’s thick, but it doesn’t create a very strong cast for me. As you can see, my hair is already frizzing at the roots and it’s not completely dry yet. There’s no cast to scrunch out. The pump is also really hard to use and only dispenses like a dime size of product with each pump, which means I need to pump twice just to get enough for one section of hair. It is very hydrating, so I can’t knock it down too much, but it is probably my least favorite ouidad product, which is saying a lot because I LOVE ouidad. This is my new favorite shampoo. I've tried MANY from various curl lines. I have fine wavy hair that's prone to frizz. It is also slightly damaged with bleach. I have struggled with dry scalp for a long time as well. This shampoo not only cleans well, but it doesn't leave my scalp nor my hair feeling dried out at all. It's moisturizing and cleansing. First thing is I received this #freeproduct color mask in the color "pitch black". I'm upset as this was not a black color at all, it's gray. While technically the color is on the bottle in a small font where it can be overlooked, it's still misleading calling it black. Since I already dye my hair black I thought I could use this to cover my roots and brighten the rest. I was so wrong. I applied it on dry hair and left it on beyond the 15 minutes in the directions, for about an hour under a cap (to benefit from the "mask" oils). Even though this is a darker gray, it didn't cover my natural brunette color at my roots and left my hair looking dull and kinda dirty. However it did leave my normally dry curly hair soft to the touch, but it was still extremely frizzy and prone to breakage after. Fortunately for me after the 1st wash a little more than half the color came out and my hair looked less dull & dirty. It still felt soft for a while even after adding frizz control serums. I'm really hoping the other colors are more accurate and perhaps work slightly better on darker hair, but this is still a good hair mask, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I would probably recommend this more to someone who has lighter hair for color purposes and others more for the mask part, but not at it's current price. I would like to visit this product again in the future perhaps after they make a few tweaks to the formula.#trywithtopboxMoonlilly
Ok – so the color transfer worked better than I thought it might… meaning it did deposit quite a lot of color. It was relatively easy to use, and was not harsh on my hair or scalp. My hair is feeling soft after using, but will see how it does after washing again. However, the colors need better descriptions, especially the colors like La Plage. I used La Plage which is merely described as "sand" on very light blonde hair, hoping to restore some more natural sandy blonde color to my hair again. The product did work on my dry hair depositing color in 15 minutes, but the color I would not describe as "sand." There are parts that are very very strawberry blonde or reddish blonde, and some that are slightly more subtle with the reddish hues. It did restore a more natural-looking color to my hair, just not the color I was hoping for. I think the other colorful colors will be hard to confuse, but the La Plage was not very straight forward. I also bought the "strawberry" color expecting to use it later in the summer, but I may try it sooner than expected considering this strawberry blonde is not really what I wanted. I will try to update this review again later. For now, I'm going to give this a few days and see what the color does after a few washes. Also, I had watched a video review of the "magic" color before purchasing. That color is very gray, and on the darker side. Buyer be aware there are colors that need better descriptions than offered on the packaging alone.AmyB

I have naturally straight dark brown hair, between a level 4 or 5 and get it balayaged to a sandy neutral blonde, between a level 7/8. I've wanted to try something new without making a drastic change for a while now and decided to give this a shot. The instructions say that you can use on dry hair for up to 15 minutes a more intense color or on wet hair for a few minutes for a more subtle look. I really did not want a noticeable difference, so I left it on for about 10 to15 minutes on wet hair and the result was very, very subtle. The color is mostly visible up close or in sunlight, and it looked very soft and pastel – almost peach colored. This was perfect for me and just want I was looking for. The color, however, did not last. After my first wash it completely faded away, which is fine considering I was not looking for anything permanent. The best part though was the way it made my hair feel, it was so incredibly soft! Better than my Amika hair mask and the smell was wonderful. This may work better if your hair is already lightened and you leave it on dry hair for 20-30 min, but if you're looking for something subtle that is not long lasting and will leave your hair feeling soft and smooth, then this is a great product.Meegs

I've been struggling for almost 10 years because thanks to relaxers and certain medications, I ended up losing the majority of my hair. My hair ended up growing back, thankfully, but my scalp was ALWAYS itchy so the hair on the top of my head never grew back right. After countless dermatologist and doctors apps and several prescription shampoos, my hair was still itchy immediately after washing unless I literally didn't use conditioner or any other product. Since I couldn't stop scratching, I couldn't get my hair to grow back. I tried using some shampoos I found elsewhere, but once again, my scalp was itchy as soon as I put product in my hair. I didn't notice until just now but I've been using this product for about 2 weeks and I have NOT scratched my scalp. There's no more itch! The first week I used this product, I went a week without shampooing again before my scalp got itchy. I was finally able to just wear my hair in a bun for a few days without having to wash every morning. Hopefully my hair can grow back now that the itching is gone, but that's a story for another day. THIS PRODUCT WORKED AS ADVERTISED!
I have had issues with dry/itchy/flakey scalp for a while. I've tried other shampoos and conditioners but nothing really worked for me. This made a huge difference after the first use and after the second time using it my flakes were completely gone! I use it once a week by applying it directly to my scalp and wrapping my head in a hot towel for about 15-20 mins. I do have to shampoo twice afterwards due to the oil. It also isn't a permanent solution, I skipped a week and my itchiness and flakes did start to come back. But I love this stuff. Ordering more bottles now!
I just finished my first bottle, and bought a second, so I think it’s time I write this review. I have type 2C hair that I wash about twice a week, and this works really well for me. Keeps my dandruff under control, removes product and oil buildup without stripping my hair, and lasts me about 3 months. It’s only pitfall is that, because of how minty it is, I have to keep my eyes closed while using it Or Else. I would like to note that this mint is more of a toothpaste mint rather than an herbal-aromatherapy mint, which might be a turn off for you. Personally, I don’t mind, as all traces of the smell seem to wash down the drain. Easily the best dandruff shampoo I’ve tried since going natural.
