I tried working hands many years ago for my hands because I used them so often at a job that required constant use and literally left my hands dried out and cracked. I tried many products from least to most expensive to deal with this issue, but nothing really helped. I first spied Working Hands I believe at a nation wide retail store, you know the one. I tried it, and to my surprise it worked amazingly enough. The only thing is you have to do is let your skin/hands rest long enough for the product to work. This is the best hand cream I have found for dry, cracked skin. In the winter, I suffer from cracks around the edges of my fingernails due to the lower humidity. I have tried all sorts of treatments, but this product has been the best. I discovered it on line about 6 or 7 years ago but balked buying it because the shipping almost doubled the price. It was a little company then in the Northwest and their distribution system was not very big. After talking about it for a while, my wife ordered a container for me as a gift (or to shut me up) and it turned out to be a great gift. It was hard finding it in stores then, but distribution improved and now Harbor Freight is my source. Aquaphor healing ointment is one of my favourite products I use on a daily basis. Back in 2019 I was on Accutane and NOTHING came close to helping my scaly lips like this product. The combination of petroleum and lanolin makes this a perfect product for really dry or cracked skin. I also use this on my cuticles and in the winter I will put it on my hands and sleep with cotton gloves for baby soft skin in the morning. What I also love is the price point. Other lanolin based skin moisturizers from places like Sephora can be exceptionally pricey. I have had this 198g tube for over a year and I have barely made a dent in it! If you don't have this in your routine yet, I highly suggest picking one up next time you are at the store!hayley.k
this is one of the best products for dry skin! it has many many different uses. I have used this obviously for my twins- they had alot of issues because of the nicu all the wires and shots and no bathing no lotionstuff they had to go through left their skin a it scaley and painful. this went on their skin and just healed it right up. some moisterizers can go on dry skin and give them a sort of burning feeling, not this, this feels just like a cooling stick you would use to prep your skin for makeup. very good for sensitive baby skin. I have also used this for my husband, he has really really bad soriosis. it took me so so long to find anything that would help- I bought so many different creams that were literally made for soriosis but they would do absolutly nothing to help. so then i started using this on him just out of curiosity and he was feeling relived he said finally there was no itching! and lastly my skin on my face, but nowhere else on my body will get extremly extremly dry during the winter, it gets so bad i cant wear any kind of face makeup unless i want to look like a shedding trollthi.p
I honestly could not live without this! This is my saving grace for very dry cracked skin or chapped lips. Even for when my husband gets those sore cracks in the corner of his mouth. Those are so painful but painful but whenever I put this on them they are healed in no time. I also like putting this On my elbows knees and hands before I self tan. This is great for chap lips And dry flaky skin.. It feels like Vaseline but it creates this beautiful barrier and Relieves any dry skin you have. I even mix my retin-a in with this to put under my eyes so it won't be as harsh. I got that tip from a dermatologist and it has been great great because I've not been able to use any retin-a products under my eyes without getting very bad irritation. My doctor recommended this. It really helped with my eczema flare up over the course of 6 months. I applied it daily, twice a day and my flare up went away after 6 months. I like how this product is unscented and thick. One thing I didn’t like was that it would sometimes sting a little when I’d apply it, but the sensation would go away after 5 minutes or so. So I decided to try this hand cream – partly on a whim but mostly because my hands were getting increasingly dry and really quite sore. I usually use O'Keefe's hand cream but found that my palms stayed really greasy and there was a film of moisture left on my hands. In all honesty, I had no real hopes that this cream would make any difference (particularly bearing in mind that I am 54 and have never paid much attention to hand care). My daughter insisted I try it and I am so glad that I did. I have been using this for the last three weeks and can see a noticeable difference in both the improved moisture levels and the lessening of those hideous crepey wrinkles that had started to appear! I never used to put hand cream on before bedtime because I have to read each night before going to sleep and found that I couldn't swipe the kindle with my greasy hands!
