This is just a little out of the norm but this item is great to use in the yard as well. Leave the broom behind and get a small garden hoe. I bought the model prior to the current one being sold. I have no intention of buying the current one the replace my old one. I have three large inside dogs and I would use my dust pan at least every other day to get all the hair and destroyed toys out of the floor. I found the broom to be worthless, I'm 5'10" and had to bend over significantly to use the broom, the dustpan handle is slightly longer. The broom does attach to the dustpan, which is a great way to make sure they stay together and you don't have to go hunting it so if you are vertically challenged the length may not be an issue for you. The broom seemed to be well made and swept great it was just too short for me. I would use my regular broom to sweep everything into the pan however since the pan didn't close shut by the time I would walk to the trash can a lot of the hair and fuzz would get blown away by the fan or the breeze created from walking. We did use this a few times to gather liquid (water) and were very glad we had this nice big pan with a rubber front edge that made good contact with the ground. I was planning on replacing it with a dust pan that folded closed and demoting this one to the garage for the porch however in less than a year the bottom has a huge crack in it! It hasn't been misused, overused, moved from one location to the next (with the exception of taking it to and from the trash can) and I didn't even bother folding the handle down but it couldn't even last a full year. For the current price online it would be ok to buy again but I paid twice that in the store. If it can't handle my home use there is no way it could handle constant commercial use. For the current price it may be good if you have employees that tend to 'loose' things but if you want to buy something that will last you need to keep looking.PupGolden
I never write reviews, but I couldn't bare to see my favorite broom receive negative reviews. We've had this same broom and dust pan for several years! It has gotten alot of use over the years as there is no carpet in our house. It does an excellent job of sweeping up sand and dirt in Florida. You won't find a better dust pan either. If I could give this product more stars, I would. I have two cats, a short hair and a long hair. The shedding is so bad that a regular vacuum doesn’t do the job. I bought this out of desperation because I’m disabled and need an easy way to maintain shedding. I used it in a small part of my carpet and I couldn’t believe the amount of hair and dirt came up! Not only did it gather up the hair, but it deep cleaned the area as well!! I use the bristle part to loosen up the hair and the squeegee part to gather the hair and dirt together. The product works the same on hardwood flooring as well! It actually pulled the hair out of hard to reach places to make cleaning easier on me. Product does the same for tile. The handle is height adjustable and durable for intended use. I HIGHLY recommend this product! I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. The item was bought as a gift. The first one arrived and I wrapped it and gave to my mother and when she opened it and took it out of the box, the item had been used. It was dirty and had "trash" in the suction holder. I sent it back and got another one and the suction does not pick up like the video shows. I was very disappointed in this item. I purchased it for my 73 year old mom so she would not have to bend over to sweep the dust/trash into the dust pan. Horribly designed product. A waste of money! I am taking time to give a review. I bought for $30 at local store. Looked great as don't have to bend to sweep. Well, the suction is a little shoot off side of broom very awkwardly placed and it only suctions if you push down really hard on the shoot and suctions only that little dime sized section at a time. IT RUINED MY FLOORING tiles PUTTING AN INDENTED DART INTO IT! THIS IS A HORRIBLY DESIGNED PRODUCT. Positive: the broom sweeps like any $5 broom. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I purchased this out of a need due to physical challenges. The weight is about 1/2 gallon of milk well made materials. Suction is amazing and easy to operate … no need for push down on device to activate the suction … battery life is amazing . The weight of the broom and thickness of the handle give assurance. My whole family is impressed with this product. Having lower back issues some movements are difficult but consistently bending is my pet p ! No more of that and handle is decided no loosing and slim built to put in area of houseware not bunky … there is so much more to say but I will say it is reasonable price and worth every dollar … good job to the designers ☺️gypsirulez

Normally I don’t get too excited about brooms. I mean, it’s a broom, right? I’ve had good experiences with O-Cedar in the past with their mops, and needed a broom for quick pick-ups around the house (we have a dog and a few small kids, lots of messes). It comes packaged in a nice small box, and the handle screws together very securely in three pieces. Once you screw them together, you’d never know it came in multiple pieces – very sturdy. The handle is long and is a nice metal, not plastic. Like the description says, the bristles are pretty unique with that V-shape on the bottom. It really does seem to work WAY better than previous cheapo brooms I’ve used that always seem to leave debris for a fourth or fifth pass. This Pet Pro broom picks up basically everything on the first pass. The dust pan is pretty cool too – it has a rubber liner on the bottom that ensures little pieces don’t go under the pan. Also has these little combs at the back to grab hair out of the broom bristles, and you don’t have to bend down to use it, just step on it with your foot. I can’t really think of anything I’d like it to do that it doesn’t… for the price, you can’t really go wrong here. I’d definitely recommend it!Minneapolis Hipster Mom
This is an excellent broom ! It just doesn't pick up dirt , it gets up the fine little dust particles too. The shape and angle allows you to get into the little cracks and corners too. I've had this broom for some time now and it still looks brand new. Other brooms I've bought would look like they were 20 years old and falling apart by now. And the dust pan is just as awesome as the broom it came with. You don't have to chase the dirt all over the place trying to get it in the dust pan. I was hesitant with purchasing this broom because the handle wasn't a single pole; rather it was one in sections that you put together. However, I LOVE this broom! It's bristles are soft enough to flex along my polished concrete floors throughout my home. It does a great job, and doesn't miss any crumbs, etc while sweeping. I would rate it 4.5 stars if we could. It would get 5 stars if it was an inch wider. (It is slightly less wide than a regular Vileda broom). Where it's better than the Vileda broom is from the higher amount of bristles (and each strand is subdivided in finer bristles, which is great to catch fine dust) The higher amount of strands makes it stiffer, but that also means you catch more dust with each stroke; I like it that way. Never buy a broom without fine bristles; they just leave fine dust behind.PA Lss
I would not have chosen this particular broom had there been any other options at the time, but this was the only brand available and I was in desperate need as the broom I had for the last five years snapped in two. However, once I got it home, I realized how absolutely horrible it truly was. I am generally not a picky person- and I am certainly not a Karen (LOL) but its hard to believe that anybody could create a broom that is actually counterproductive seeing as its such a simple tool, but its almost as if the person who designed this went out of their way to make it terrible! For one, the broom is unnecessarily heavy- and I say this as a person who has 35 years of experience sweeping floors. I think it is the heaviest indoor broom for its size I have ever owned by far. But the worst part of the broom is that the width of the bristles are actually an inch and a half longer than the width of the dustpan which makes it very difficult to get all of the dirt into the dust pan. I have never, out of dozens of brooms I owned my my life, ever had one where the the bristles were actually wider than the dustpan pan- it just doesnt make sense. Funny that a person can have such a foul opinion of such a mundane thing! It looks like a completely normal broom but please, try before you buy!Tina
