My hair is most noticeably fuller after just one wash. I love the scent. The conditioner that comes with it is so important. You want to make sure you keep your hair super moisturized if you have bleached hair. I think this is a good line but there are others that do more to moisturize. I got a gift certificate at a salon and found nothing I wanted there so I purchased Kerastase shampoo and conditioner and it revolutionized my hair. Just a little bit of shampoo goes a very long way, so in the end it was economical. The product lathers up to a glorious head of bubbles. The scent is nice, light, and does not compete with anything you may apply later after shower. My hair is healthy, shiny, and people comment on it regularlly now. It's gorgeous. I got the travel size shampoo/conditioner and it's the first time I've tried this brand, though I've heard celebrities skull shill it often. Honestly, it's not bad. I can use the shampoo every day and it seems to be enough to allow my hair be combed through without any tangles. It makes me hair very soft, but my scalp feels oily within 24 hours. I'm using it in the winter as I imagine it would be a little too moisturizing in warmer weather, leading to oilier hair/scalp. The conditioner is a little too heavy for my hair. If I use it, my hair is very soft out of the shower, but flat and oily by the morning, and I have dry/oily hair type. The shampoo scent is rather unpleasant, others have described it well in their reviews. The shampoo also has SLS and parabens – all the not good stuff we're supposed to avoid. So first off I love this brand, it got introduced to me when I was at a salon. So the first collection I tried was the resistance, I love that collection it really makes a difference in my hair it makes it feel so soft and smooth and before my hair was bleach and dry and I had chunks of hair falling out. I received this as a sample for my birthday gift this year with Sephora and am sad I wasted my gift on this, but also happy I didn’t purchase a full size. I use drugstore shampoo (suave and herbal essences 90% of the time) and can say they always leave my naturally frizzy and curly hair smooth and manageable afterwards. Needless to say if those low priced products can satisfy me, I had high expectations for this shampoo+conditioner. It left my hair so brittle, dry, and damaged after just one use. I could tell even brushing my hair fresh out of the shower while wet that it was tearing through knots and already felt coarse. I applied extra argan oil to my hair to dry with and it still was so dry and I saw split ends already forming which I had never seen before. I didn’t wash my hair for 7 days after using this product, hoping any natural oil would help my hair return to a natural state before and that no permanent damage had been done. It’s been 2 weeks since my first and final use of this product and I am back to herbal essences. I couldn’t be happier! I’ve struggled to find curly hair products my entire life, most products either leave my hair frizzy and dry or weighed down and oily. After using the Curl Manifesto Bain Hydration Douceur Shampoo as well as the Fondant Hydration Essentielle Conditioner my hair was super soft and light-weight. I then used the Crème De Jour Fondamentale leave-in and defused it and my curls were so bouncy and soft! So, a little about how I style, after rinsing the conditioner out I typically wrap my hair up in a t-shirt because I find using towels makes my hair frizzy. After leaving my hair up for a few I take it down and just apply the leave-in generously just combing it through with my fingers. After that I flip my head down and start scrunching away. Then I defuse it! My hair was so bouncy, soft, and hydrated! It didn’t leave it crunchy or oily what so ever! Great when combined with the regular Kerastase Curl Manifesto Conditioner (rinse out kind). Decent on its own, though. I have very curly, color-treated, dry, and frizz-prone hair. It curls beautifully, but will frizz up the second it touches humidity (and I live in the South, so…). I will often leave a regular conditioner, that's meant for rinsing out, in my hair as a leave-in. The REGULAR Curl Manifesto conditioner is amazing as a leave-in for me. I thought I'd try this, because it's slightly cheaper per ounce and you can only (for some reason) get the regular conditioner in the duo gift set on Sephora's website. This muuuuuuch thinner but works pretty well in reducing frizz. I found combining it half and half with the regular conditioner as a leave-in worked best. I haven't used it long enough to decide if I would buy it again, but will likely keep buying the regular conditioner (I guess elsewhere, since Sephora doesn't carry it on its own) as a leave-in. It just works better. I would probably recommend this for someone who has finer frizz-prone hair that would be too weighed down with the thicker regular conditioner (as a leave-in). I have a lot of should length, medium thickness, dry, highlighted, straight-slightly wavy hair. I use the Oleo-Relax Shampoo and Mask on a daily basis. A few times a week I also wash and condition with Redken’s Brownlights Line to reduce the orange tinge from my highlights. I also use an overnight serum and a hair oil most days to combat dry hair frizziness. I have tried almost every conditioner (fondant) that Kerastase has to offer and I have yet to find one that is hydrating enough. Even those specifically targeted for dry to extra dry hair. I once convinced a hair-stylist friend of mine to sell me a salon-sized bottle thinking I just needed more product but nothing has ever worked except to use a mask daily. Today I received this conditioner in the form of a sample that I added-on to an order and I am so impressed with how hydrated and soft my hair feels. I love the scent in the Discipline line so much that I don’t foresee myself purchasing this in-lieu of the Discipline mask I use every day; but this conditioner really is amazing. I got this as part a free sample program. I have used it for 6 days so far. I have previously tried similar products that help with hair fall but I have to admit that this one works pretty good and it smells vibrant. It is lightweight, not heavy at all. The accompanying shampoo is also lightweight and not too thick. I have noticed the following benefits from this conditioner: smoothing, not greasy (even after back to back/24 hr use), minimized fly always, minimized hair fall from running my fingers through it, brushing, & shampooing. It is small in size, but that’s pretty typical for most conditioners. I don’t typically wash my hair four times in six days, I usually do it twice in six days, so I imagine the conditioner will last me longer when I go back to my normal routine. If I’m being completely honest, I typically minimize the use of conditioners because they tend to wear my hair down and make it look like I stuck my head in a bucket of grease, this was definitely not the case with this one. I followed the directions, and put it on after my shampoo and after I was out of the shower, left it on for the allotted time, and then went back in and rinsed it out. Although that was slightly inconvenient for me as often I have fast paced mornings, it was definitely worth the extra step. I liked both the conditioner and shampoo, but for me the scent is way too strong. Fragrances in products can be a polarizing sort of thing. I know some of my friends who would love this scent, but I am not one of them. It has a sweet floral scent. The shampoo and conditioner both applied very easily throughout my fine hair (though have a lot of it) however. Sometimes shampoos can be more concentrated making them difficult to really distribute well, but not the case with this one. The condition also had the right amount of slip to it to evenly apply though the length of my hair. Neither of these products weighed down my hair. Seeing I cannot get past the strong scent, I cannot confirm how well this supports hair from breakage. That would require a lot more testing than just one use. Gave it the benefit of the doubt after reading the mixed reviews and was optimistic. I've used the sulfate free Bain Cromatique in the past and am used to the way the sulfate free shampoos can later less. After following the directions with the shampoo and the conditioner my hair felt ok, just had a little less slip. The problem was when I started drying my hair. It took forever, left my roots greasy and felt almost like there was a coating on my hair which was weird. It looked dull. Still I wanted to like this! Three more times it did the same. I think it's too heavy for my fine, highlighted blonde hair. Unfortunately, it was not for me. Going back to the Bain Chromatique with the Fondant Chromatique and my Ciment Thermique combination. I gave the Aura Botanica shampoo and conditioner to my daughter. Maybe she'll have better luck with it than I did.Kristina L
I love this shampoo! It’s really gentle and has a light scent. I was skeptical about the price for such a small bottle, but a little goes a really long way! You need the tiniest amount for your whole head. It has really good ingredients, it has no silicones. I would recommend it so much, even for oily hair (like mine). I have very long fine hair with highlights (but a lot of hair) and typically use Bain Satin 2 along with Masquintense Fine Hair Mask from the Nutritive collection which leaves my hair feeling very silky without weighing my hair down. I loved the natural ingredients in the Aura Botanica line and decided to try Main Micellaire followed by Soin Fondamental Conditioner. What a mistake!! My hair was left feeling greasy, without volume, without shine and I had a difficult time blow drying my hair. I thought I might have done something wrong and tried the products again with the same results. After rewatching the videos for this line, I also noticed that the hair of those that used it also looked a bit dirty or greasy and dull. The way it left my hair feeling reminds me of when I tried the WEN hair products. I was very excited to try this! I had major heart surgery on January 2, 2021, which resulted in a 20 day hospital stay. While healing I noticed my body’s chemistry completely changed assuming from the trauma of surgery. My once long, thick, fine naturally curly hair started falling out in clumps. I had to get over 15” cut off in hopes to regrow what I lost. My hair was also super dry after surgery. While my hair had been dry in the past because it is color treated, it had never been as dry as it was after surgery. I’ve always only washed my hair once a week. Also tried to stay away from too much heat, because I didn’t want to give up being blonde! I’ve used some free samples from Keratase in the past – currently loving the Resistance Blow-Dry Primer for Damaged Hair. This is the shampoo from the same line. Instantly my hair felt dry after washing while still in the shower. I thought maybe it was a fluke. A couple days after using the shampoo my hair was so dry and straw like. Again…..I thought it was a fluke. I do deep condition my hair weekly with Olaplex #0, #3, #8. I DC overnight on Saturday and wash my hair on Sundays. Followed by blow drying with my Dyson Airwrap. My hair had been feeling great and is growing back…I have so much regrowth a years worth to be exact. I haven’t highlighted my hair since August 2020, when I got my hair cut last. After the first “fluke” with this shampoo I tried again….3 times to be exact. I have narrowed down my super dry hair now is from this shampoo. I splurged on this product along with the conditioner and heat protectant and I’m very impressed… I went blonde 5 years ago so overtime, bleach has made my hair bristle and I’m no longer able to air dry and go. The air dry hair is typically frizzed, no defined wave pattern, and my hair length stops at around the top of my breasts. I’ll be trying vitamins to help with the growth, but as for this product, I’ve used it twice now and I noticed the effects after the first wash (not kidding). I washed with this shampoo, conditioner, & applied heat protectant after, and my hair was soft, less frizzed, and my scalp wasn’t flakey or dry! During the winter I suffer with dry scalp and this product even tackled that which isn’t even why I bought it. I had been using the Kerastase Discipline line for a little over a year with great results, when my hair started to become dry and brittle. My hair would have so many knots and be so tangled after a shower that it hurt to brush; and I was breaking my hair, so I moved onto this line instead. It smells nice (I still prefer the Discipline line scent most) but my hair is still very dry when using this shampoo. If I follow with the conditioner, it’s not so bad; but this shampoo really strips my hair. I have thick, straight, overprocessed hair. My hair doesn't get on well with Kerastase shampoos and this is the only one I have bought twice in years. I used my first bottle after a saloon keratin and hair botox treatment and this shampoo was amazing – I now realize it was because of the treatment itself. I didn't even need to use the conditioner of the same line. At that time, the shampoo added incredible shine, but it also caused build-up (which rarely happens with my hair). With the effects of my treatment gone, I find that this is another Kerastase shampoo that leaves my hair super-tangled almost from the roots downward. I'm using this, the mask and the thermique product together and I am happy with the total result. However, I'm not planning to buy this again – thermique and the mask will do. I bought this a couple of weeks ago after using the genesis line (which is also amazing) and I LOVE IT!!! It smells SO good!!! I switched products because I am focusing more on growing my hair now and it seems that this is the best line to use. I love the pump! It makes it so easy and quick to use. I also got the newer blow dry cream with this line and I love it! I don’t have the conditioner yet. That will be my next purchase. I have thin, fine hair and recently went through head and neck radiation therapy and these products have been amazing! My absolute must have for years. I'd tried many other bands but always came back to this shampoo. It makes my hair so silky, shiny and healthy that it's worth every penny. I don't feel it affects my hair growth directly (any shampoo may hardly do this), but it definitely helps you to grow longer hair by making it smoother and protecting from the damage, dryness and split ends (though I was not greatly impressed by the mask from this collection). Sinks into the hair shaft and doesn’t leave any greasiness at all, makes hair feel nourished and silky, it’s really the best leave-in conditioner and heat protectant on the market. As a blonde, this is a must to keep hair quality at its best – I feel like my hair texture improves each time I use it. Squeeze a small amount into your palm and rub hands together, then finger-comb it through the ends of wet hair before blow drying. Ive been having my hair bleached for years, I always requested that my hairdresser uses Olaplex to prevent snapping but I found out she lied to me and she wasn’t actually using it in the bleach anymore. Well I took a gamble on this product based on the reviews. I have fine, wavy/curly hair that I sometimes straighten…but it can get frizzy very easily. I used 1 pump on wet hair, blow dry and straightened and I have no frizz. My hair is silky soft with a lighter feeling that seems to be tug free from a magic trick. The conditioner seemed quite thin compared to other conditioners so was initially worried. Well panic not people! This stuff is amazing. If you want luxurious shiny hair – this is for you. I really loved trying this heat protectant. I don’t use a ton of styling products in my hair but I do always use a light leave in conditioner or heat protectant and this one includes an extra boost for my blonde highlights so I was thankful for that. It’s silky smooth without any weigh down. I can’t take any product that’s the slightest bit oily because it just weighs my hair down. This has enough to know it feels better without feeling like you have anything in your hair if that makes sense!! Lol I’m not a fan of the Keratese smells in general. They aren’t too bad just not my favorite. That’s the reason for 4 stars. It makes my hair full and helps give the perfect t blow out and I would definitely recommend it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried the product as I have very light blond highlights and always struggle to protect my hair from heat damage. At first pass, I noticed that the product has a nice fragrance – clean, not floral – maybe trending a little bit on the chemical side but not in a bad way. I first applied the product to damp hair and blew dry as I normally did and proceeded to style as usual. I did not use any other products because I wanted to focus specifically on any differences I may have noticed with this product alone. Once my hair was dried, I styled it like I typically do and applied a small amount of the product to the ends of my hair for additional protection, definition and to tame any flyaways (my hair is very fine). I will say that I have been highly impressed with the product. My hair was noticeably softer after using this product and I have not noticed any sort of buildup or weighing down of my hair at all. I’ve been using this shampoo for a few weeks and I really like it…I just don’t know if it’s worth the price tag yet. I received the shampoo and conditioner for free in exchange for a review. The pros are….it makes my hair feel soft, look thicker/more voluminous, doesn’t weigh my hair down, I don’t lose as much hair when I brush it, less shedding in between washes and I see a tiny bit of hair re-growth. My only con is the price. Normally I use dove shampoo and it’s like $5. If it makes my hair re-grow I will repurchase it but if not I’ll stick to dove. It’s a luxury formula so aesthetically I like the way the packaging looks but functionally it’s harder to open and close. When my hands are wet it’s hard to unscrew the top and put it back on but it looks luxurious in my shower so packaging wise I’m 50/50 on. Overall it does what it claims so if you don’t mind spending a little more on hair care then it’s worth itsarlizz

The large mouth on the top makes it nice to store upside down in my shower caddy, which helps me get all the product out. The scent is nice, and the formula feels much like most high-end shampoos. I really enjoy a luxurious lather, and this does not disappoint. I have waist-length hair, and in order to get a good lather from root to tip, I have to use three times as much shampoo as the average person. I shampoo twice to ensure my hair is clean. With the second wash I get even more lather. I have not, however, noticed any change in the density or thickness of my hair after one use. I have thinning hair at the top of my crown. I was only allotted enough time to use the product once within my normal wash schedule before posting a review, so I cannot report on the claims of thickening my hair. I received Kerastase Densifique Bain Densite Shampoo as part of a free sample program in exchange for my honest opinion. There are not a lot of shampoos I can sample because most have a harsh surfactant that I am allergic to. Fortunately for me, this one did not have it. I was impressed with the thick creamy shampoo. The packaging was not my favorite because I prefer a pump for ease of use, but it wasn’t terrible. The directions say use a quarter size dollop, and that wasn’t going to work for my long hair. But it has a nice, thick lather that I appreciated. The scent was not overwhelming and felt luxurious. I loved the way my hair felt afterwards as well. I am 5 months postpartum and am struggling with hair loss. This product definitely made my hair feel a bit more full after just one use. I only shampoo about 2-3xs a week so I believe it would have been an even bigger difference if I shampooed more frequently. This is the best product I've used în my life and trust me I've used many. When I say it's the best product I refer to the strenght it gives to the hair and stops fall out. According to my hairdresses Olaplex is better because olaplex actually fixes the broken bonds în your hair, whereas this shampoo superficially fixes them. I'm not saying she's wrong but for me it was the other way around. I tried this shampoo after bleaching my hair last year and it did wonders. Not only did my hair not fall at all (literally 0 fallout, insane I know) but it also thickend my hair to double the size within a year. All hair products are not made for everyone, so this review is based off my hair type and experience. I have 4B hair and have done the Brazilian Blowout. Needless to say my hair has been processed. This mask has made a difference in my hair manageability over the past 4 uses. I have seen a return of my coils and my hair is much softer. Less hair comes out when I comb it after washing it. Your hair is a protein and needs protein; that’s why I am seeing a difference in my hair. Other things you need to consider is your scalp health. If your scalp is not healthy no product will help with the state of your hair.mchllcurry
So I have previously bleached hair that's been dyed brunette with a few highlights, so my hair is greasy at the roots, damaged and parched at the ends. These products are fab! I double shampooed(has the craziest texture, seems to help massage it in without causing breakage) left the masque on for around 5-10 mins, rinsed, towel dried the ends and then added two pumps of the serum whilst hair was damp. I then blowdried and noticed it was alot less frizzy however still abit fluffy at the ends. I then added another pump of serum which hydrated the ends without over doing it. The real magic came when I straightened my hair. Wow! It's so soft and shiny, it feels strong and manageable. I can tell that it's going to help repair my hair rather than mask the damage like colour wow shampoo and conditioner do. I do love color wow, but it really does make my hair greasy and heavy within a day or so. This line keeps hair super light and strong. I would prefer some further hydration but I can add another product for that. Over all I'm glad I splurgedSophie
I ordered this mask due to my hair being damaged from multiple highlights. I was very hopeful, unfortunately the product did not deliver. I applied the treatment in shower once and also to towel dried hair overnight. After sleeping overnight with the treatment I noticed no visible result. I love Kerastese products. (My hair has slowly been thinning and at times I am quite self-conscious about it – it's noticeable at my crown, if my bangs aren't tucked in, and I carefully part my hair. If I'm going out, I usually do a quick blow-out and spray to keep things "just-so," my hair then tends to look a bit dry/frizzed.) I have just used this mask for the first time and I am blown away!!! Left it in for about 5-10 minutes, rinsed, and blow-dried on low/warm; My hair is now full of SHINE and SILKY smooth, but most significantly, my part and the crown of my scalp are not noticeable – it's like 5-10 years were just reversed from the PLUMPing, volume, and moisturizing this mask provided. This is such a wonderful shampoo and makes my hair feel so soft and moisturized!! I have very Extremely dry hair. My hair has been straightened Professionally since I was 8 years old. I have ethnic hair and am a multi diversity of European, African, Mexican/Spanish and Native American descent with a little tiny percent of Asian so I literally encase a melting pot of the world in my DNA! I had my actual DNA test done because I was adopted and wanted to see! Well, my hair has always been that one part of me that wants to be out of control! My birth mom never combed it because it was so so thick and frizzy! I don't really have course hair texture but I do have a lot of it and it gets easily tangled. Within the last three or four years, I have been getting Japanese Thermal Reconditioning and have had multiple treatments since then so hydration and good ingredients are important to me! This shampoo I use along with my Davines Conditioner and it is very lovely! I do love the Mask in this line too! I love this product, the only con is the price. Oh my god. Repurchasing this product is a nightmare. Although I love hair care products, I don’t think you should be breaking a bank to purchase products with such pricey tags! But if you can afford it and want to invest, you should definitely get this. This serum is great – I feel like my hair fibers got stronger, split end reduced, hair was smoother. This can also be used as a heat protectant which is great! Tip: leave in your hair overnight for smoother hair the next day!abeer.s
I have long straight thin brown hair. I had some balayage highlights put in several months ago. As with any lightening it tends to dry out your hair a bit. For me it dryed it out which made my hair tangle easily and a lot of flyaways and frizz. I would brush my hair then 5 minute later I couldn’t run my fingers through it. I usually just used the agave hair oil and that worked great before I colored it. But it wasn’t enough after. I started using this on my damp hair followed by a couple pumps of hairdressers oil from bumble and it’s AMAZING. My hair feels better than ever. I use about 2-3 pumps and I have almost waist length hair. I can run my hands through my hair again. I don’t even blow dry my hair it looks better without it now. And even though having straight thin hair makes your breakage stand out a lot more this actually hides it which no hair oil has ever done for me. Ive used this product for 3 months and it hasn’t had any amazing effects, in all honesty it makes my curly hair frizzy and dry weird. I’d recommend the kersatse hair mask 100% (i use it once every 14 days) as well as hair syrups Growsmary. For context i have bleached my hair for 5 years and stopped heat and bleach 6 months ago, the condition is getting way better but id put it down to the latter two products and wont be buying again. Also i feel like i have to pump out loads to get it through my hair.beth.w
