I had high hopes for this product when I ordered it during a massive sale that Neutrogena was having on their website. I even went and spent hours inside a random drugstore looking at bottles of the colors trying to figure out which shade of the foundation would be the right shade for me. Neutrogena even provides a booklet with color swatches. No dice. The "booklet" they provide is way off. Whoever does their printing prints like… text books. You can't rely on foundation shades printed from random laser printers?!?! This entire experience of hoping for a great liquid salicylic acid acne medication foundation that came in a limited number of like 8 skin tones reminded me way too much of the time I wasted thinking the Clinique Liquid Acne Foundation would be a good fit. This use to be my go to! for some awful reason though, this liquid foundation makes me break out so bad and it’s makes my skin super oily now. I don’t know why or what changed but I’m guessing the formula or something. Also, the shades are odd, like wayyyyy off now, it looks almost orange like and cheap on my skin, and it has made my acne worse than ever before, just awful. I was in love with this foundation, loyal for a few years now and it really sucked that after all that time, I had to look for another foundation. I Waited a full year in hopes they would bring the original formula and colors back but they never did. I cannot believe how good this foundation is. I was using a more expensive foundation for years which has been discontinued so I had to try something new. This did NOT disappoint. I see other reviews saying this isn’t full coverage but for me it absolutely is. It covers my acne scars and blemishes beautifully. I tried this foundation because I wanted something that would provide even coverage for mild/moderate acne without aggravating sensitive skin. I had a virtual consultation and was matched to Alabaster, the lightest shade, but it turned out to be quite orangey on me, and definitely too dark to get away with only using it on certain problem areas. Also, even though it says it will work for dry skin, I found it incredibly drying, clinging to drier areas and settling into creases that are otherwise invisible! It provided good coverage, although it was heavier than I wanted it to be, but overall it just looked super cakey so I sent it back. I'm grateful that Clinique does free returns for online orders! This might work for you if you have oily skin and want a fuller coverage, but I wouldn't recommend it for combination skin or anyone looking for a lighter, buildable coverage.sourflower301

It's so weird. I originally bought this product a month or two ago in the shade Light. I'm usually NC15 and it looked like a good match for me online. I got it, and it was darker than I thought but not outrageously so, just enough that it bothered me. So then I went ahead and bought the Fair, hoping it'd be a better match, and even if it was too pale, it's almost winter time anyway. The color match was better this time with the Fair. I am 60 years old, with dry, sensitive, post-menopausal skin. I have fine lines, redness and enlarged pores to consider, when using complexion products. My skin is light with pink tones. I look for clean formulas without chemical sunscreen. I just could not find a medium-coverage foundation that is not matte (looks dry and settles in lines) and not dewy (transfers easily and emphasizes pores). I'll start off by saying I was NOT a fan of It's original cc cream… It was too heavy, but worse still, were the shades. I'm usually a "light" or "light/medium" and their "light" is a hideous yellow color with a very GRAY cast to it. Their "medium" is just pumpkin orange on me. So I could never find a match. On a whim, I tried their "Bye Bye" foundation in the shade light/medium though. And to my shock, this shade was pretty much a PERFECT match. So my advice is, IGNORE what they say the "undertones" are… The light/medium is NOT cool toned. If anything it is warm/neutral. And I'd look at the newer shades they make because I honestly think they are much better and more realistic looking. Also, the formula of this foundation is incredible. It is literally the ONLY thing I've ever found to replace my beloved and very expensive, Chantecaille "Future Skin" foundation. It doesn't settle into fine lines AT ALL and it looks great all day. And when I do a "half and half" test (meaning put the "bye bye" foundation on one half of my face vs. another foundation) it wins EVERY TIME! The ONLY downside is how difficult this foundation is to get out of things. It sticks in makeup brushes like I've never seen and is murder to wash out. Other than that though, this is perfection. It pairs PERFECTLY with their "bye bye" illuminating concealer. I tried their "illuminating" cc cream too and it was a glittery disaster!! But just like their illuminating concealer which has NO glitter, the "Bye Bye" foundation ALSO has no glitter– just diamond powder in it. This makeup has decent coverage I would say about medium. It dries very well without setting. The color was dark for me but I used it as a first layer and used some concealer. Even though it doesn’t claim to be foundation it works very well. It does have a scent that I think is very pleasant. The one thing I would bring up was the instructions said you can apply it 1-3 times a day but I wouldn’t and didn’t do that. It lasted around 8 hours for me and I did not use primer. I didn’t feel like it dried out my face and the oil was controlled. Impressive to say the least. I started using foundation back in 2000, when I had just started my freshman year of high school. I unfortunately was one of those teenagers who had to start the constant battle of ACNE PRONE SKIN and I was tired of tormenting myself with extensive expensive products routines. It wasn't until the day I discovered this Neutrogena Skin Clearing product that my whole life changed. It's now 2020 and I'm still using the exact same foundation color *NUDE 40* I still see a noticeable difference in my skin after I apply it as part of my Everyday Beauty Routine. It gives me fantastic coverage without looking heavy or cakey my skin just looks natural healthy because of its smooth and light texture. It is able to cover all my imperfections and doesn't cause me to break out just simply feels great against my skin. PLUS- it contains salicylic acid which helps with my acne makes sure not to clog my pores. I absolutely hate to cover my breakouts with makeup because I feel like I am not letting it heal and possibly making the situation worse. However, when I use this foundation, I feel a lot better knowing that the breakout is being treated instead of worsened. In addition, I do feel like my breakouts clear up a lot faster when I use this foundation while pairing it with the . I have used this foundation for years. My daughters have also been using it with great results. We loved everything about it, coverage, shade, blended perfectly, improved acne, etc. I was so bummed to see that the formula has changed (bottle with the green design). The shade that I have always bought no longer matches my skin, it is thicker & gross feeling, it does not blend well, and looks terrible on my face. My daughters tried it also and both agreed it was horrible. I don’t understand why this company would change something that was already perfect? Did they even have anyone test this before making this big change? I wish there was a way to still buy the old formula. This was MY foundation. I've used this foundation for 10+ years. I even used it before they even had the color porcelain formulated. Once they formulated porcelain I was so happy because it was light and fair enough for my skin. However, the new porcelain color is a good 3 shades deeper and ORANGE. The undertone is so unbelievably orange. I don't understand how that is considered porcelain. I bought 2 bottles thinking they were the same color, hopefully I can get a refund. Like other reviews I am SO disappointed by the new formula. The new one settles into fine lines a magnifies pores (I always moisturize and use primer). The new one seems a little thicker and a tad chalky. I went from looking radiant (old formula) to aged (new formula). I’ve always had oily skin and the old formula was brilliant at controlling oil but avoided the heavy full coverage look. Almay really messed up a great product. I love this compact. It has a creamy texture and provides great coverage without looking cakey, or dry looking. I've noticed though, if you are extremely oily this may not be the best compact to use. I have acne, but I'm only slightly oily. After a couple hours I get a little bit more shiny on my nose than I'm use to. So I would recommend the super double powder foundation if your really oily, that works great and provides comparable coverage. For me, I don't mind the lack of oil control. How ever I am using Fair, the lightest shade, and its too dark! In the liquid foundation I use alabaster, which is the lightest. There is no matching powder. I hope more lighter shades are made soon because I love how this compact feels.srad
I have been faithful (minus a few stray product tries here and there) of clinique powder compacts for years. I've been on the mild side of combination skin for years. My skin has been my prize with not a lot of fuss needed. Then I got off the pill (to try for our first baby) and my skin went crazy. Oily skin that I had never had before! What seems like overnight, none of my current products can combat this new oily skin of mine. After a frustration purchase at the drug store, I took myself to the lovely ladies at the counter for help. After re adjusting my skin care and sending me off with new moisturizer samples, I was sent home with this new compact. I don't really have an acne problem but this makeup really helps with the oiliness, I am pleased with the finish. Here is the downside…. I'm a fair skinned, typically second to lightest shade gal, and the lightest shade in this makeup is dark and oddly rosy. This make me sad because the product is wonderful. I absolutely love this product! It is really my holy grail for foundation. I went to both Clinique counters in my mall to purchase this product only to find out that it's being discontinued. Oh my goodness, I could have cried on the spot! I have combo oily skin in spring and summer and combo dry in fall and winter. This is the only product that works well with my skin in both winter and summer. In a mad dash to find a replacement at both Clinique and others, I find myself extremely unhappy and frustrated! Was not crazy about this. I have dry/combination skin, because I use retin-A. So I have some sports that are more oily and others that are dry/flaky. This didn’t address either one. It also had a very orange tint, despite using the fair/cool color. The package is a little difficult to use because you have to tap the powder out and I feel like some of it goes to waste if you tap out too much. First of all I want to start saying that I wanted to give a thoughtful review after using this product for a certain and decent amount of time. Unfortunately, the sample given to me was a little dark for my skin tone, but on days where I was bronzed worked better! On my skin it oxidized a little bit, all of the times, but nothing too crazy. If you have DRY skin, this is a big no no for you. It definitely dries out from The fact that 1) is a powder foundation and 2) contents salycilic acid. You would need to pay extra attention on your skins moisture and hydration in order to have a more natural and clean finish. One of the PROS of this foundations is definitely the feel. Even though you apply a few lawyers, the feel to the touch is skin-like, so that’s super useful when in summer! Because I’ve had dry patches on my skin because of blemishes that were drying out, it definitely was more visible when I applied the foundation. The finish is NOT full coverage, st all. Maybe if you have blemishes that are flattened and less red. But if you have acne marks like me, and you’re fair skin toned, it will definitely show that, doesn’t matter how many layers. But honestly I didn’t mind, I find the coverage is great until medium and is still really breathable! I didn’t feel the necessity to conceal my eyes because I tried twice with different concealers and didn’t look that good or natural! It didn’t look bad, but the finish is better without it (in my opinion). It definitely helps drying out blemishes! But I personally don’t like powder on my skin because I feel it prevents the pores from breathing and cream foundations are more natural and easier to absorb naturally, showing the natural grease of your face while wearing it for a long time in a better way that with powder (because it separates at a point) It’s not a bad foundation at all! It’s breathable, buildable up to medium coverage, I love the ingredients but is NOT long wearing! I would recommend it for oily acne-prone skin rather than dry! This is not for me. Don‘t get me wrong. This has great pigment and to mix it with SPF can give you a nice coverage. But if you have dry or dehydrated skin from Tret like I do this is not for you. This makes my skin look so dry. It‘s because my skin is dehydrated and everything soaks in. But I‘m pretty sure it looks nice on normal and oily skin. If you like natural looking without foundation, take a drop and mix it with your SPF. For buying a new foundation on-line, the 37N turned out great for my neutral medium skin tone. Just a tad light, but going into winter and my mineral powder provides enough color on top. I read the directions on-line before purchasing since this is a blendable formula you must mix each time and express any product from the applicator to get fresh product. Had some difficulty at first as it seemed product was stuck in the squeeze dropper so nothing was going into it or coming out. I was able to free up the product finally to apply. Excellent coverage that DOES NOT oxidize or fade after application. I had melasma and acne scars so coverage that doesn't fade is important. IT foundation fades after application 😐 I had this on all day without primer or setting spray just some mineral powder. Excellent staying power even after touching my face!! I have used the dermablend coverage cream foundation before but for day to day use it feels heavy and looks a little too make-upy. This is an amazing foundation for my needs. I have dry skin, but then I add retinol and other skin care products to which makes my skin drier. This foundation is a very moisturizing product. Plus it seems to melt into the skin with very little effort at all. Some foundations I've tried, which have been many seem to sit ontop of my skin or need tons of blending. This needs very little blending and it just settles into your skin. It also has these molecules that brightens your whole appearance without making you look light you have glitter on. People say I have a refreshed look or a healthy look to my face. The one down side is the amount you get for the price, but a little goes a long way with this product. I use 1 to 2 small pearl size drops and I have some acne scars. While it doesn't eliminate the acne scars, it does cover them and concealer does the rest. I will purchase this product again!Merissa

I have sensitive skin, and lately I've been developing allergies to bismuth oxychloride. Also, I don't like heavy foundation or animal testing. This can make finding a foundation rather challenging. Luckily, after much online research, I found KohGenDo Maifanshi Moisture Foundation, and I am thrilled. It gives me the coverage I need without being cakey, it never breaks me out, and it lasts all day. In humid weather, all I need is a blotting paper around midday, and I look great. Somehow, magically, Maifanshi Moisture Foundation works exceptionally well in both winter and summer. I love this foundation. But why, oh why do you have to change things?? I used beige in the summertime, it was lovely and perfect for my skin tone. Then you changed the colours. Now we have cool beige, which is orange, and warm beige which is VERY orange! No.7 assistant in store told me Calico is the nearest match – far too light. I looked like something from the Addams Family! Beige was always difficult to get, presumably because it was so popular. Are you familiar with the phrase “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”? I fail to understand why you’d change something that is such a good seller? My Winter colour is cool vanilla. Again, perfect for me. I havnt been able to get it since before Christmas. I was looking for a replacement for No.7’s wonderful Beautifully Matte Foundation that has been discontinued. This is not it! The foundation was a greasy, gelatinous mess that laid on my skin. It literally felt like it was melting off my face. I tried on 3 different occasions to work with the product (using different moisturizers/primers/powders) but gave up and returned it. I also tried the Stay Perfect foundation, but after the wonderful formula of the Beautifully Matte foundation, this one fell short too in its coverage. As a staunch doublewear fan, as my skin is maturing (I'm 44), I wanted to try lighter, kinder foundations. I like this quite a lot. I like the consistency (slightly gel like, similar to doublewear light) and it has a pleasant, light scent that smells like skincare rather than makeup. It has a decent, medium coverage that doesn't cake or dry out at all on my combination skin. It doesn't sit in fine lines either. Its staying power is actually pretty good, especially if used with a primer. It does need touching up on my t-zone by the afternoon. I found it does oxidise on my skin so I think a primer is key and maybe going a shade lighter than you usually would. The SPF and skin care benefits are a no brainer for me. Overall , creates a natural, healthy look that looks like good skin. A surprisingly good find for skin that wants to breath but still wants to look pretty. Goes on the skin smoothly! I love this foundation but I wouldn't give it the full 5 stars because it doesn't have an expiration date or batch code on the bottle to look up the date of manufacture. I try to keep my beauty items up to date and I toss those that are expired so I am in a real pickle with this one! When I am not aiming for the matte finish, I mix it with another foundation on the dewy side and the shade comes out perfect. I have very dry skin with fine lines. So I decided to give it a try with this foundation. I have to say, on me this foundation is not glowy at all, it is in fact quite matte. But, it has a beautiful finish, it doesn't really require setting with powder, it doesn't settle into fine lines or pores and most importantly it does not transfer to the mask! Another important thing is that it is a very cooperative foundation: I could use most moisturiser/primer combinations and I can layer or mix it with glow products/highlighters. It just works. It is magical. So I really hope I could still use it when the winter comes and the weather gets dryer. As for shade references: my spot on shade matches are Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation 213 (light olive) or L'oreal Infallible 100 (linen) and Pat McGrath -7. I use the shade EF04 in this line, which is slightly lighter for my skin tone but it actually matches my neck perfectly and works beautifully when I apply a little bronzer.Sinem K.
I had high hopes for this foundation as I prefer a illuminating finish with light to medium coverage. Good points first it feels really light on the skin, does not look cakey. However for me that’s it, this foundation does not sit well on my skin it highlights every single pore and imperfection and applies patchily. I have a dehydrated combination skin with rosacea this looked especially bad over my rosacea patches on my cheeks and my more oily nose. I tried using it with primers but it still seems to deposit more foundation in some parts of my skin. The finish is quite natural like a satin matte but personally I prefer a more dewy illuminating finish. This looked so bad on my skin I actually considered it was my skin however my usual foundation Future Skin applies the same as always so this just does not work with my skin. It also did not last any time on my skin but this is an issue I have with many foundations. No matter what primers or application method I tried I could not get this to work for me. This is a fabulous product. I only started using foundation after my “well earned Sun Spots” started to bother me. I’ve tried many brands ranging from the drug store ones to very expensive fancy ones. I tried this a one via the recommendation of a Sephora sales person. Then after trying a product pitched on line with color matching and “try it free” promotions throughout the pandemic, I saw I still had some of this left in the bottle. When I applied it, I immediately felt the difference. It’s much lighter (not color but thickness) and easier to apply and it just feels better. I use shade "fair beige", it isnt listed as an option on influenster though. This is one of my favorite foundations! I have pretty bad acne scars and foundations/concealer that can actually cover my problem spots are really hard to find. Catrice works very well. The bottle itself is nice, had an eyedropper top which makes getting the product out super easy. I put it on the back of my hand before blending onto my face. The foundation has an interesting scent, almost baby powder or luvs diaper type scent. Not unpleasant. Foundation blends well and a little goes a long way. Medium to full coverage and buildable. Feels like you aren't wearing makeup at all once it has been set with powder, and leaves a matte finish with staying power. This lasts all day. Also VERY affordable, order from amazon! I think in theory this is a great foundation. It’s definitely more medium-full coverage which is great for my acne prone skin. The first day I tried it I didn’t use a primer, which was a mistake. It clung to my dry patches (combination skin) and ended up looking really oily by the end of the day. The second day I tried it with the Hard Candy Hydrogrip primer, which helped a lot. I only had to touch up with a little powder later in the day. My biggest complaint with this foundation is that it oxidizes. It looks fabulous going on, but a couple hours later looks too dark for my skin tone. If I had known this in advance, I would have bought a shade lighter. The shade I did buy, however, will look great in the summertime. Overall, this is a great foundation for the price. I have bought this product for years. Although I like the product itself, the container often breaks where the hinge is located. Granted, I travel a lot and can be rough on my items. What really has disappointed me; however, is the lack of applicator sponge that used to be included. I can understand making a "more sustainable product with a smaller environmental impact," but you are just passing off the environmental impact to some other company as we still need a way to apply the product. I love Healthy Skin compact makeup with SPF 50! I have used it for years and it actually helps keep your skin clear. I use a moistened sponge applicator to apply and blend perfectly. It is sometimes difficult to find in stores because it is often sold out. It applies, covers with a nice matte finish and doesn’t rub off on your clothing. This 55 SPF foundation is perfect and just what I need for my fair skin; the color and texture of the foundation looks natural all day; it doesn't run into my eyes by the end of the day; it doesn't dry out my skin and it simply doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and eyes at all! I am old enough to have skin damage caused by too many years of not wearing a foundation at all or none with SPF, and I have rosacea (causing me to always look flushed). The Healthy Skin Compact Makeup actually protects my skin from further damage and helps minimize the appearance of my existing skin damage (blotchiness mainly) and redness. I apply it over a green tinted moisturizer and my skin is transformed into the perfect shade for me (I use shade #20). My skin feels smooth and soft all day and if I touch my face it doesn't smear or come off. I haven't noticed it rubbing off on the sweatband of my sun hats either. I didn't like the effect when I tried a powder blush over this foundation (it was too dry looking and seemed to highlight imperfections in my cheek area), but a cream blush that I dabbed on and gently blended was perfect on me. Anyway it's not a big deal, just my experience with the types of blush that is easy to avoid. I have used other Neutrogena foundations and tinted moisturizers for a while and they were always best for my skin, but this is all I have used since I discovered it and definitely the only one I will ever use for daytime. To me that's the biggest test for any foundation, does it look natural and attractive in natural sunlight and this one really does for me!

I’m really surprised how much I like this..and really surprised by how many negative reviews. I received this in my last Sephora order as a sample. I finally got around to trying it on a day I knew I’d be home the whole day because I knew even the lightest color in the sample would be too dark but I wanted to test out the texture and wear time. The moment I applied it I thought it went on really gorgeously. True medium coverage and really lovely natural to slightly dewy finish (but not at all oily looking.) Didn’t cake into any of my fine lines or nose pores (90% of foundation look AWFUL on my nose no matter what I do.) So I decided to look at the review here to see what people are saying and was surprised by some of the negative comments. So I thought well maybe I have to wait a few hours and it will look terrible then. But it never did, even 10 hours later, it still looked pretty darn good! It faded a bit (but everything fades on me) but it never settled into anything like how some foundation fade mid day. I bought this foundation as my friend recommended me. She said the foundation stays from morning to night. I bought this as the shade really match my skin colour & hope this foundation stays. I use it for awhile, it kinda stays but depends on the weather. If the day too hot, my skin starts become oily, the foundation melts and i need to reapply. Although I am light skinned, I have unbelievable problems with foundations. Either too light or dark. Most cast grey or orangey. No matter what most say, they are pretty drying to my skin which is already dry. I am 67 and luckily don't have many wrinkles but do have some sun spots especially on my forehead with a dry patch. I am not near any stores and the cost of a cab is prohibitive. I decided to try these things as a bday gift for myself. This color is pure perfection. It feels so light . Ive been using this product since it came out on the market and Ive always loved it. The main problem was always getting the makeup out at the bottom but I resolved that by cracking open the bottle. Not ideal! However, Im sure Im not the only one experiencing this. The last several bottles I purchased, the makeup squirts out like water no matter how much I shake. I may have to find another product after all these years. Sad!
I have been using this same foundation for years with no issues. Within the past 6 months, however, it has been really watered down? The makeup will squirt out mostly water with splotches of makeup in it… it reminds me of oil and water the way it separates. I've shaken it up really good and even pulled the cap off and mixed it and it doesn't help. I wish they'd fix this issue, because i really loved this makeup!! I still use it. Not every bottle does this, but the ones that do are messy and a waste of money. I love this makeup but gave it one star so the issue with some of the bottles are made more aware. This was a sample given to me.#freesample I put on 2 layers for full coverage. I love that it's a pump so no cross contamination, straight from pump to my sponge applicator. The coverage is nice and silky blendable, and buildable. I didn't have to use but a tiny amount of concealer I noticed especially under my eyes. It contains pro-retinol A+ and vitamin c supposed to be for anti aging. Iv only used it this once so I'll post back next week to see if there's any results there🤷 otherwise this has became one of my top 3 favorite foundations. This is a very good and affordable foundation. I have this foundation in “Light Ivory”. The undertone of this foundation is slightly yellow, but after applying concealer and the rest of my base, the shade looks fine. (Since I purchased this foundation, the shade range has been expanded.) I find that this foundation has a medium amount of coverage that can be built up to increase coverage or sheered out if desired. Although this oil-free foundation claims to have a semi-matte finish, I find it has a radiant/ glowy finish. I have dry skin, so I like the finish of this foundation. After wearing this foundation for a few hours, my skin can get oily and require blotting/powdering. I recommend setting this foundation with powder. If you like a foundation that has a dewy or glowy finish, you may really like this foundation. This product is very affordable, although the bottle only contains 20ml of foundation. (The standard amount is 30ml.) I will continue to use this foundation and I will try different primers and powders to see if I can improve the appearance and wear of this foundation. Overall I like this product. It gives me pretty good coverage, not full coverage but it is buildable. I don't like the scent, it smells very fragranced and I enjoy fragrance-less products more. It's also a little drying on it's own and I have normal/combination skin. I HAVE to use lots of skin prep and moisturizers before putting it on, and overall I enjoy more moisturizing, glowy bases instead of matte looks, so this is a great product for people with oily skin/people who love matte, but not for me. I decided to try this foundation again recently after running out of it a few years ago. I clearly just forgot how good it was. The foundation looks beautiful on the skin and you can keep layering and building the coverage up without it looking cakey or bringing out the texture of your skin. If anything it looks smoother the more you put on. I really like the shade range this foundation has as it seems to cater to a lot of different undertones. The shade is perfect for me. The perfect shade for people on the paler side. After setting with a finishing powder, my acne prone skin looked almost airbrushed and it lasted great throughout the day even without a primer. The circumstances for when I first got this foundation we're totally a coincidence. I had gotten a BareMinerals gift of another one of my favorite products in a shade that was too dark. Prom was also coming up and I needed a foundation that would keep me matte and look good in pictures. So I went to the BareMinerals store and asked if they had any matte foundations, to which I discovered this. Never have I loved a foundation more. I have combo oily skin and this keeps me so so matte, but with a perfectly natural finish. The way my skin looks in this is like a "your skin but better" product. My oily mother normally sticks to the products she's used for years, but the minute she tried this we both had to run out and buy it for our summer and winter shades. It's AMAZING!! I couldn't even understand why it didn't have all 5 stars, but I'm assuming that it is probably a better foundation for oily skin (like most matte foundations are). There are a lot of wonderful things about this foundation: 1) It is definitely full coverage 2) Easy to apply 3) Doesn't cause break outs 4) Matches my skin tone perfectly However, there are a few things keeping me from loving it: 1) It looks cakey and dry on my skin. Even though I have super oily skin, it still somehow manages to look dry and patchy in some areas (even though those spots still end up being oily). 2) It doesn't have the stay power I was hoping it would have. It stays pretty well for the first 6 hours but then starts to wear off. It seems to stay put longer on cooler, less active days so it's probably because of my oiliness. 3) It doesn't mattify as well as I would have liked. Like I said above, it definitely looks dry and patchy on the skin in areas, but my oily skin still shines through. However, some areas stay nicely matte. I have tried wearing it with and without foundation, but I don't see any differences between the application, wearability, stay power, and patchiness. Overall, I like enough to keep it and am going to keep experimenting with it to see if I can overcome the small issues. It is definitely better than most foundations I've tried. Wow. That’s all I can say. Pros- – wide color range with pictures distinctly labeled warm , cool, neutral, making it very easy to find your perfect color – unlike most long wearing foundations, this doesn’t look chalky, thick, or mask like. It ends up looking like skin not like a thick layer of makeup applied to your face. -I have combination skin that’s very easily dried out and then gets flaky and oily, I bought a dewy setting spray from Walgreens to give this a nice satin finish. If your skin is normal you will probably get the satin finish from this alone. Ten years ago I tried the bare minerals powder and a tube lipstick that was shown. I did not care for the lipstick, it went on with an uneven texture, didn’t have a nice finish, and didn’t wear well. The powder foundation was much too yellow and didn’t look nice on my combination skin that’s often much to dry for anything other than a cream. You guys have really stepped it up with bare pro and the mineral liquid lipstick! Blown away by the color selection you offer that includes everyone. It is so frustrating when a brand does not even make a color that works for you. I am fair and cool, there’s a lack of these shades in the market. The shade shell matched perfect.Houston lady
