I was a bit hesitant about using this since the thought of whirring blades near my ear or on the the outside/inside of my nose made me very nervous. After placing the battery in the device and attaching the the top, I decided to give it a try. I was in th market for a new, smaller trimmer, so I went to my local Wally World and picked this little beauty up for $20. It had all of the atrachments I could need with a few more besides. The fit and finish is excellent, it's light and handy, very maneuverable ans able to get closer than my larger trimmer. The battery lasts 60 minutes and that is more than I will ever need for my usage. The included charger efficiently brings the trimmer up to full power in a timely fashion. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. They're there for a reason; fully and clearly explaining every aspect of the trimmer, it's accesories, their installation and function. I would say this is a lighter duty trimmer set. If you want to cut hair regularly, this is not your product. Get a heavier-duty, corded trimmer that's meant for that kind of work. However, if you want an *Excellent* tool for getting that beard and mustache trimmed or cut, you can't go wrong with this one. Light hair-cutting is not out of the question. A kid's haircut wouldn't be a bad idea, either. The maneauverability, lightness of weight, and, in my opinion, safer design, make it great for kid's haircuts. Overall I rate his product a 10/10. I decided I wanted a grooming trimmer, so what better product to buy on Prime day than one of these. I'm sure as you know, if you peruse the trimmer shopping section on amazon, the first 10 to 15 results are nice looking trimmers with LED lights and all come with stands that you can easily place on your bathroom countertop. Unfortunately, Phillips did not meet the mark. There's no indication at all to tell you that the product is charging, no green light or 0 through 100 marker, something that you can see as an important feature that should be on a chargeable trimmer. Secondly there is no stand, they give you this cheap pouch to put about 10 tiny items in, some which will get wet and full of hair. If I had known this is the product I'd received, I would have gone with the others in the same price range that at least come with a LED light to tell you if the product is charged, and a nice stand put all of these various tiny attachments into. I had a Wahl version of this product for many years and it still worked great. I lost it during a move and bought this as a cheap replacement. I wish I spent more for another Wahl. This one advertises that it doesn't need oil, but that's because it's almost completely plastic, including the blades. Very noisy by comparison and light weight, so it feels cheap in my hand. It works well enough for the price, but it doesn't feel as gentle as I'm used to. The heads and attachments aren't as nice either. I don't expect it to last long. If you want to save a buck or try out a rechargeable trimmer, this is not bad. But if you're like me and prefer a tool that will stand the test of time, I'd recommend looking into a brand with metal blades and a reputation of quality to back it.Someone who likes quality

I have to say that being a first-time user of such a product, the Conair Metal Series High Performance Nose/Ear Trimmer has left a very positive impression on me. Dare I say….life changing?! The build quality is excellent. It feels very heavy and sturdy in your hands with its metal body. The only non-metal parts of the unit are the blade housing, the blade cap and the battery cap/switch. To turn it on, just twist the aforementioned battery cap/switch in the clockwise direction and opposite to turn off. To swap out the battery, twist the battery cap/switch further counterclockwise and it will dislodge itself from the metal body, releasing the battery. Pretty simple. As far as performance, the real question is if I felt any discomfort during use? Being a first time user, all I can say is that it was definitely a weird feeling, but no, I wasn’t nicked, pulled at or cut. Scared, yes. I mean, who wouldn’t be scared sticking a Roto-Rooter up your nose? But this beats manual pulling or scissoring your way out of a tickly or embarrassing situation by a mile, and I will use this regularly moving forward. I took it easy at first, by the way. From a maintenance perspective, the only two things you’ll have to do occasionally is (1) rinse out of the detachable blade and (2) swap out the single AA battery when the juice gets low. Like all things with blades, they will become dull overtime and need to be replaced. I don’t know about other ear/nose trimmers on the market, but replacing the blade is a nice feature to have. And having the backing of a company that specializes in hair care is always a plus. The Conair Metal Series High Performance Nose/Ear Trimmer is a simple, but elegant addition to a shaving routine. Right out of the box, my wife said “wow, I’m surprised that’s Conair”, as she does not expect much out of the company. The “Metal Series” Silver looks nice without breaking the bank. The device itself is simple, the main trimmer, a twist off bottom to insert the battery (1AA, Positive end toward the bottom), there is a cover to place on and off the trimmer head to protect it while not in use. To turn on/off the trimmer, a simple twist of the bottom and you are off. One of the simplest aspects of this trimmer is the fact it is battery powered; a lot of shaving appliances are wall plug/charged and it is nice to have an assessor that you just click on without any more thought. The performance of this Nose/Ear Trimmer is outstanding. At some point in your life, nose hairs start to multiply or lengthen an unruly amount. In the past, I’ve used a normal trimmer to angle into my nose, tweezers, or my hands to pluck hairs and well, this is a game changer. I consider this a luxury item, as one absolutely does not NEED it, but this is a WANT item if you suffer from Nose/Ear hairs. For the nose, simply placing the device about ¼” into the nares and a little motion around the walls of the nares makes for a cleanly shaven nose without being intrusive. This was not exactly what I thought I was ordering for him, but he is getting used to it and now he really likes it. Says the battery is lasting a long time, many times being used and still strong. It is small and light weight, so at first it seemed "dinky" but it does a very nice job of keeping his beard at that "day-old" look that I like for him. I have a drawer with three of these that don't work. They were each great when first bought and used, but the third or fourth time it was switched on there was nothing. I changed the battery – nothing. I tried reversing the polarity of the battery installation – nothing. I tried a third battery properly installed – nothing. I love that this is battery powered and not rechargeable. This means I don't have to wait to have it charged to use. I also love that it handles multiple hair issues with all the different heads. … bought to replace an old model that I have had for I don't know how many years… still working OK but lost the attachments and time for a replacement. Works nicely for the ears (keeps earbuds from slipping out due to hairs) and also for the nose. Both "saw" and "spin" heads can be used depending on which works best for you. Eyebrow "combs" seem OK and they pop off and on easily. As in other reviews, a pouch or case would have been nice to have included, but a quick look around a hobby shop provided a nice little case for a few bucks to keep everything in one place for drawer or dopp kit. Nothing fancy here, but as the hair stops growing on top of the head and starts sprouting out of the ears and nose, this is a nice little device to keep the barbed wire manicured. This trimmer is a very nice and affordable hair trimmer. Let me start by saying that I'm one of those guys that doesn't have a very hairy body. So I don't really need too many manscaping tools. I feel this trimmer is good enough for my needs. I trimmed the little bit of nose hairs that stick out past my nostril, i wouldn't recommend going to deep with it. You want to leave some hairs in your nose for health reasons. Those hairs are there for a reason! It did a great job trimming the little tiny unsightly strays. I used the included brow trimming attachment to trim some body hair on my tummy and pelvis without issues. I know this product isn't intended for that, but it works for me. The included trimmer guards are nice and I didn't experience any nicks or cuts with the trimmer. You don't need to apply much pressure, the blades are great and require just the lightest touch to trim your hair. That being said, I could see it being a great tool for trimming your sideburns and a lil facial hair as well. I managed to accidentally drop the trimmer from belly height into a tub half full of water while it was on and it survived! I wouldn't recommend taking it under water but its safe to say that it is water resistant. It includes two different sized trim guards, an ear and nose trimmer and 1 AA battery to power the trimmer and a cleaning brush. It has excellent build quality and I recommend this if you're like me and just need a small easy to use trimmer for a lil clean up here and there. Lacking only a case for the accessories, this hair trimmer is an excellent portable option that runs on a single ubiquitous AA battery, yet remains powerful enough to get the job done. – Unboxing & Usage Impressions Major kudos to Philips Norelco for the spartan, easy-to-open packaging and inclusion of a AA battery. The device is very easy to open with a swappable trimmer head that twists and pulls off on one end, and a similar twist-and-pull motion grants access to the battery compartment. Both trimmer heads clearly indicate “washable,” which makes cleaning and maintaining the heads as easy as running them under water in the sink. At first when I bought this, I was thinking how something so strange looking can trim my noise hairs without cutting me? It turned out to be much easier to use than expected and pretty self-explanitorial. It does cut the majority of my unwanted noise hairs, but I usually finish off the rest with a pair of small noise scissors. The very first thing that I noticed about the Virtually Indestructible Nose, Ear & Brow Trimmer from Remington is washout System that’s connected to the blades. It’s designed to make cleaning the blades easy. I appreciated that feature because I HATE CLEANING THE BLADES!! It’s pretty precise when it comes to cutting. It’s easy to use and does the job well. I do have a few issues with it. Without reading the instructions it took me a little while to figure out how to turn it on. I’m used to trimmers having on/off buttons. This does not. You have to turn the bottom of the trimmer in order for it to power on. You also do this to put the battery in. My biggest issue with this is the noise level. It’s pretty loud. This Virtually Indestructible Trimmer is great. It comes with 3 attachments: the plastic two-sided comb, which you can use on bushy eyebrows; the round cutter, which would be used in your nose/ear and the metal two-sided blade. The blade won't cut your fingers if you slip or if a kid gets a hold of it. The blade vibrates to chop off whatever hairs you have to clean up. I received my product today and was excited to use it as my previous trimmer broke. I was very disappointed. I feel like if your nose hair is as wild and bushy as overgrown lawn with crabgrass then this is for you. My nose hairs were pretty long and a bit wild and I found myself pressing the trimmer in hard and still found a good portion of nose hairs just were not being cut. It looks like a premium product and costs much more than others but it doesn’t work well. It has a large “nozzle” below the cutting blade so you can’t reach the nostril hair. The cutting blade misses cutting much hair despite repeated attempts.

After years of using a slim disposable shaving blade to cut as much of my plentiful ear hairs as I could reach, and often cutting myself in the process, I decided to try this Panasonic nose and ear trimmer. I was surprised at how well it worked on the hairs inside my ears which I couldn't get at before. The unit is quiet so you can barely hear it's on from about a foot away, but you can hear it when it' s in the ear cutting hairs, an indication it's working. There's no pain, no pulling, and no cutting of skin, only hairs. This doesn't cut as close as a blade or even as close as an electric shaver, but close enough so my ears look much better. Not sure how long it'll last. Six months so far using it about once a week. Single AA battery lasts a long time. Easy to clean too. I'm very happy with it and won't hesitate to buy another one when it dies.Rich49

I had a trimmer with a small foil head that worked quite well in the ears but the internal battery died and I didn't like how often I had to charge it. I recently shaved my mustache so really didn't need to trim anything other than the ears and nose. I didn't trust the small head trimmers thinking one would have to be too precise to catch all the tiny hairs. This being a Panasonic and after reading the good reviews, I decided to take a chance with $12. I am very pleasantly surprised. It works as well as my old foil head trimmer. This is not a good product at all. The trimming tech is not very comfortable, while ear hair comes out well the nose one gets plucked which is quite painful. Worse the clip is removable for washing but once removed it never goes back in the groove properly. Threw away after a year of use. Just refuses to get switched on and money wasted!! Normally I dont do these things. Here goes: I purchased this trimmer about 10 years ago and I used it. I liked it. It was cheaper then maybe $8-$9. Then it fell on tiles floor and it got bent or something and I could no longer use it. Then I threw it out. Next 3 years Ive been using small scissors and electric trimmer. Didnt like the electric one cause it made my nose hair grow more and thicker. Using scissors was ok till I cut inside my nose. Its not pretty. Blood does not want to stop at all. I did this twice. Then I went to google to find a manual trimmer. To my surprise I found the same trimmer I had used years ago. I saw many reviews and listings all over. I could not find it for the old $8-$9 price so I bought it anyway for $19. I bought this low tech grooming tool as a last chance to tame the wild jungles of my nasal cavities. I figured that it may be simple yet strong enough to cut thru the Vines and tangles that enveloped my battery powered trimmers and rendered them useless. I wondered if something so small had the ability to be sent into Jurassic Park and come out in one piece. now the moment of Truth. Standing in my yard where I could easily collect the downed timber with my bagger mower, I put the pedal to the metal. to my surprise, the trimmers actually blazed a trail to the opening of my nostril and made short work of the underbrush that hindered my upper lip. I soon discovered that the weight difference was causing me to loose my balance so I attacked the other side. once properly ballasted, I began alternating trimming between nostrils. my head began to clear as a normal amount of air could now fill my lungs. when the last twigs made their way to the ground, I lowered my arms and wondered what condition the trimming head was in. How many peices of it were lodged in my nose? to my surprise in was still sharp and ready for more. like a good machete in the hands of an experienced jungle guide, it cleared thru some of the worst unexplored territory in existence. Well built, simple and effective device. Just remember to rotate it while you insert it, while you move it, and while you remove it, else there will be snagged hair and some pain. Hasn't happened to me, though. Electric trimmers take up a lot of space in the cupboard. This one is the size of a lipstick (but weighs significantly more). Very simple, only three parts: A stainless steel rotor, a stainless steel stator, and a screw to hold them together. Electric trimmers last maybe 10 years if you're lucky. I wanted a trimmer that could last for the rest of my life, and unless I drop this on its head, I think it will do.larsolafsimonsen

I have owned this trimmer for just about a year and am still pleased with it. The only thing I wish could be improved is the speed of the trim. My cheap, discarded, $10 nose hair trimmer cut much quicker, but would often nick the inside of my nares. I have not once been nicked by this trimmer. It charges via a USB port so I do not have to purchase batteries, which is terrific. The quality is good and holds up its strength. But the nose/ear trimmer is too bulky at the top. It makes it hard to maneuver the trimmer and get in good angles in your nose or ear hairs compared to other trimmers I have used. It feels awkward.Please fix this. This is an average hair clipper from what's available for what is in the market place today. It does what needs to be done. Good fit in the hand, light weight. I do like the idea the battery is user replaceable, just a small screw driver needed to do it. Time will also tell how well the blades will hold up. Like the fact that there is a motor locking function for travel to keep it from coming on accidently. Another thought I don't think this will hold up if dropped, mostly light plastic. Charge on battery depends on how frequently you use it and for how long, I purchased it for trimming and keeping hair tidy between hair cuts.Jackstricker

Trimmer has several components that come in handy for multiple purposes. Nice guards for beard cutting, you can choose the guard that fits how close of a shave for the beard or mustache. Have not used the nose trimmer blade yet. Other blades are very sharp. No need to press hard.Gidget

I purchased this ConAir product to replace one that I had longer than I can remember, but probably pushing 25 years. I only hope this one lasts as long! Heck, I hope I last that long!!! This T-Series Ultimate Prescision Multigroomer is superb! I like the style an the reversible T-blade is super cool it gives me precise cuts and trims that I wanted. It's lightweight and ou can really glide under your neck and the adjustable comb is super awesome. I feel comfortable using this and they also include storage pouch. When it comes to my grooming habit I can be very picky on the machine I use. That's why I feel I can whole heartedly say the Remington T Series Ultimate Precision Multigroomer is worth it. This groomer is not bulky at all which allows you to see what your doing. No more having to look around the groomer when using this one. I have found that each time I use this groomer I get a close and clean cut each time. I feel more confident everytime I use this groomer. No longer does it feel like a huge chore to get the look I want. Another nice thing about this grooming kit is that it is pretty compact. It being compact makes it a lot easier to store and be able to travel with it without having to worry about it taking up too much space.Nickk

With the smooth design it can easily fit in your hand for a secure grip. The blade is incredibly sharp (no hair tugging or pulling). I love all the different attachments. But the main attachment I like it the dial one. Just a turn of the dial and you are on your way to a nice evenly trim that only masters can achieve. The wireless is a great feature since a lot of trimmers don’t have this feature. The little bag it comes with is perfect to store everything for the trimmer.Willybig

As with other Merkur products I have bought, you can feel the quality. Despite what other reviews say, breaking it down and cleaning it is hardly rocket science and the cutting action is clean and smooth. Being a mechanical product it does not achieve what an electrical based device could in terms of closeness of cut or speed. However in terms of its simplicity, portability and the end result I think it is a great little product, especially for the travel bag.fuzzy d.

JUNK. Just a piece of JUNK. Just barely works at all. I have a pair of regular size Wahl hair clippers, and that works great. I thought that this would be another good quality Wahl product, but it is not.mechanic_in_the_house

Upon opening I put the battery in and tuned on without any response. After adjusting the battery contacts I got it to work. Very cheaply put together and battery cover keeps falling off. Pay a bit extra and get something worthwhile. Product works but struggles.dbward_1978

Wall is my favorite brand. My husband always has two of these. One in our bathroom and one in a travel bag for when we go away. He won’t use another brand it meets all his expectations. The price is always good too. Highly recommendnena.c
