1. Bike Peddler Take A Look Cycling Eyeglass Mirror

Product Details:
Take a look mirrors are some of the most popular and best selling cycling mirrors on the market! the key to their success is the unique combination of versatility and quality construction. due to the three pivot points on the mirror cyclists are able to ride safely and enjoy a wide field of vision with little head movement or eyestrain. the mirrors attach to many styles and shapes of glasses and helmets. not only do they work great but their durable stainless steel and brass construction with optically correct acrylic mirrors come with a life time guarantee!
Specifications:
Reviews:
Provides a decent viewing area without blocking too much forward/side area of vision. Adjustments are precise and hold well. While it fit on my eyeglasses just fine, or over-glasses sunglasses just fine, I chose to mount it to my helmet visor. After using it several times mid-day through dusk, I'm very pleased with the added safety it provides. It didn't take long to get used to checking the mirror frequently with a quick glance. The mounting "clips" have held it 100% secure on the helmet visor through numerous rides and some mild wind. I actually purchased TWO of these mirrors, so I can easily switch between helmet with visor, and my helmet WITHOUT visor if I want, and also to have a spare mirror.WA campfishhike
I had been using a couple other plastic glasses-mount mirrors, and while I actually liked one of them (the Cycleaware mirror), the handles/prongs on them are doomed to break. The first one lasted a couple years amazingly, and then when it broke, the replacement lasted only a couple months before the prongs broke off. This one not only seems like it won't break, it also offers a wider range of vision since the mirror is horizontal and sits out a little wider. I initially mounted it on my helmet (visor edge), but it was jiggling and fell off within less than a mile into my ride. I'm sure I could tape it to eliminate it falling off, but not sure I could live with the jiggle. It's much more steady attached to my sunglasses. Note that you do have to bend the area around the mounting pins to accommodate thicker sunglasses, but once done, it's working like a champ!! Update: After using this mirror for a couple years – and converting my husband to use one too – I am a total believer. Everyone should have one!! (Just bought another one when I couldn't find mine after our biking vacation).nrau295c
Neither my husband nor I could get these properly adjusted so you could actually see behind you while biking. We put it on our helmets and if there's any slight movement of the helmet the field of vision goes off. If your head and neck aren't in the exact position they were when you got that magic alignment going you can't see squat. The mirror is tiny! I figure I'm more likely to get in accident trying to use it than just do a quick over the shoulder look. Bought it in the winter when we weren't cycling so probably too late to return now. Lesson learned – really read the 1 star reviews!MeMyselfandI

I bought 2 of these mirrors 15 yrs ago. One did brake. But bike fell over from windy day. Da? I found a glass shop, He cut me 2 , 3inch Round mirrors, $12.00 Nothing last forever. AND? i JUST BOUGHT 2 more just like them, i take mirror OFF my bike, after ALL RIDES, put it Safe AWAY, till next ride. Best part of mirrors, THEY DONT VIBRATE ON BIKE, Very stable.us-tot2
Every biker needs a mirror (or two) to avoid drifting from your intended and safe path when you turn your head around to look. This one is easy to install if you have a pop-out handle bar end cap. Just slide it into the handle bar tube and tighten the three hex head screws with the mirror in your position of choice. If the handle bar grip is solid, you will have to cut a hole in the grip to insert the mirror shaft. The all-ways adjustable assembly is plastic but seems well made and has no sharp spots or protrusions once installed. The mirror itself appears to be made of glass and looks slightly convex to give you a wider angle of view without a lot of distortion. The mirror part is also sold separately so you can replace it if you break it but the rest of the assembly is intact. Overall, your safety on your bike is well worth the price. Get a bike mirror. This one is an excellent choice.winodoc001
It's a bit difficult to get it adjusted correctly for the drop handlebar on a road bike, but once you figure it out it works really well. The mirror is large, so you can see a lot of what is going on behind you. Since it sits so low on a road bike, it took me a while to figure out how to move my arm out of the way to see the mirror. Overall, I'm very happy with it and recommend it.Kara

4. Third Eye Handlebar End Mirror

Product Details:
With the third eye handlebar end mirror, you can easily check what's coming up behind you without having to look over your shoulder. 3-inch glass mirror with aluminized reflective backing fits into the end of any handlebar. convex mirror design provides the best angle of view. note: while the convex shape provides the best angle, it also provides a smaller image, resulting in a vehicles may be closer than they appear.
Specifications:
Reviews:
Four stars out of five, because this newest iteration of this mirror has a slightly convex mirror. This yields a smaller image compared with the previous model which had a flat mirror. The flat mirror produces an image where it is easier to discern content. Personally, I find the flat mirror yields much more satisfying image over the new convex iteration. Other than that, I consider it an excellent product and would readily purchase again, if and when the need arises.eargasm7.1
Had to add washer to back of smaller rubber inside mounting bushing in order to make it a stable fit inside of standard handle bars. This took some time, many small washers would not fit well. It works fairly well. Mirror is real glass, so it could break if the bike is dropped on that side. I am happy with the mounting , design, quality, size, and functionality of this product. Not necessarily inexpensive.oboyz2

Reviews:
It's really hard to find a mirror that actually works on a gravel/CX bike. I've tried just about everything made and was about to give up when I saw this. It was a little tough to get it installed, so I'd probably try a little tire lube next time. Mirror stays put when riding even over the roughest roads and doesn't vibrate. It's critical to see what's behind you where I ride (logging trucks, dump trucks, UTV's, etc.) and thanks to a car accident it's very difficult to turn and look behind me. A working mirror is literally a life saver on my rides. My only complaint is that it would be nice if it were round on the outer edge so it had more viewing area. You have to adjust it outward as far as it goes or you will just see your leg (at least with the bars I have). I'm happy it didn't end up in the box of mirrors I bought in the past that didn't work and I highly recommend you give it a try.slayerbrothers
I have one of these on all of my drop-bar bikes. I appreciate the clean, aero design. It is just enough, when positioned correctly, to be able to see what is coming up behind you. I also like that it has some give. So rather than snap off or break, it pops out of the mount during inadvertent contact – just pop it back in and you are fine. I have had larger (clunkier) rear-view mirrors on a flat-bar bike that do provide a better rear view. But for fast riding on a road bike, this little mirror is just enough. I feel weird riding without one.nickslyness
I've had previous experience with bar-end mirrors. Before this I used a Cycle Aware mirror, but always had to stuff additional tape in the bar end to try to keep the awful amount of jiggling down. Ultimately, the plug pieces failed. The Sprintech seems to cure all of this. The pressure exerted by the plug onto the inserted mirror stub seems plenty sufficient to keep the mirror stable and it requires no readjusting. Love it!donscyclecat

I'm really pleased with this purchase and surprised how effective this mirror is. I didn't want a large mirror on a bracket so went with this small Cateye BM45 bar end mirror (diameter 45mm). It fitted easily into the end of my flat MTB bar. Although small I found it was easy to see upcoming traffic and greatly improved my road awareness. I would recommend it to all cyclists who ride on roads and want to improve their safety.Chris Y.
It's a good mirror. Happened to buy the last one in the store for my bike tour over 10 days. But, could not use it, as somebody had made small cut and stolen the screw. Darn! Have always liked Cateye products. Now that I have been using on the potholed streets of Toronto, it is holding well and the size is right.Chittar
After taking the mickey out of mates with these things, suggesting they get some tassels, big horns and stabilisers on their bikes, I decided to get one. I think it's great. Takes a short time to get dialled in, but makes moving over for RH turns, so much better. Also handy for checking that we are still in a group (though I am usually at the back) And if someone's snuck up and is drafting me, I can slow up and let them through…. and draft them. Great bit of kit.Sarge

Reviews:
Great mirrors. I use them on my zero turn lawn mowers so I can see approaching cars behind me when mow along the highway. I attach them to the steering arms. They've worked well for 10 years now. I finally accidently broke one off and was glad to see they're still available. They're very durable and well built.Robert
I purchased this mirror from WM at a decent price, and installed on left. It has a decent field of view (3.75" x 2.2"), lens is flat plastic. I noticed it does not grip tightly, it will slide outward. the mount is plastic. if you glue some rubber on the inside surface orpossibly friction tape, it will grip better vibration from roughl roads causes it to lose it's orientation unless you very tightly screw the mirror to the mount. This will make it stiffer or more flexy depending on how tightly it's screwed in. A big plus, and why I chose was you can use it with WingLights turn signals on your bar ends, since it is open in back and somewhat in front right where they mount, so it's compatible with them. The back has a wide indented groove, I suppose as a place you could glue a reflector. It's swivel jointed with ball and socket, so you can have almost any angle you like. If you like this style, inline with the bar, it's fine. but looking at it, you'll lose sight of the road ahead since you'll be looking down at your bars. After using it, I found I prefer an upright mirror mounted inside of the grips and 6 or 7" higher than the bars recommendedlabratmode
Hello Walmart shopper. I have bought on line and locally every type of BIKE mirror. The reason I'm so sure of this one is spending almost UP TO 89.00 ( IN PAIRS OFCOURSE) on others. The main features (Yes, this has features for a mirror, SHOCK) are. The flecro is VERY STURDY AND wide for any type of grip (that's importain not to vibrate like others I've tried which make them useless to see through!). Having such a wide view for a bike mirror makes it easy to see BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET for saftey and lane murging ( and since I was hit from the side recently thats the only place the mirror can't help. PS the mirror didn't brake on impact eather….) I ride trails, street and hills and these mirrors are worth triple the price. IF THE MIRROR IS TOO LOW OR HIGH AFTER YOUR LAST RIDE , JUST TWIST YOUR WRIST AND PRESTO…IT'S LIKE HAVING ELECTRIC MIRRORS IN YOUR CAR…AWESOME. BUY THESE AND YOU''LL "SEE" WHAT YOUR MISSING. ALSO GREAT AT A STOP LIGHT TO SEE THE CARS SNEAKING UP BEHIND YOU AND TRING TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN IN FRONT OF YOU!! BUY THEM AND KEEP SUPER SAFE ON THE ROAD….RIDE ON JAYJUSTHANGINONJAY

12. Schwinn Bike Mirror

Product Details:
Take a look take a look behind you with this schwinn bike handlebar mirror. for safety and convenience, this mirror is a bike enthusiast essential. a hook-and-loop strap makes it a universal fit for all handlebars, while the adjustable stem allows you to get a custom viewing angle.
Specifications:
Reviews:
It was a great idea to provide a shell and velcro wrap as a way to attach this mirror to the end of a handlebar. Unfortunately, the mirror snapped off the first time the bike fell on it. It's still a great idea, you just have to make the stem out of metal instead of cheap plastic.www
I bought several of these mirrors when they were on sale. I did not find it affected my grip very much and ride with it quite fine. The nut does have a tendancy to come lose but it can be tightened when required. My daughter, however, found the affect on her grip very irritating and I had to replace her mirror. It seems to be a matter of taste as to how irritating you find having to ride with the velcro and how troublesome you find retightening the mirror every week or so. The Supercycle mirror is a better mirror and it is also cheaper. One bonus of this one being less sturdy, however, is that if a vehicle clipped it going by, I think you might be less affected and your bike less likely to go down than if you had a sturdier mirror.PatD
I have a new Schwinn Discover hybrid and the handlebars have extra comfort padding that makes them bigger around than mountain bike bars. I found that my new handlebars do have a part that pulls out of the ends, so I could get the nicer mountain bike mirror that sticks into the handlebar tube. This mirror velcros around the handlebar, but would probably fit standard bars. It does not adjust well at all (poor range of motion), but if you want a cheaper mirror and aren't picky about adjusting the angle or setting your hand on the mirror handle and velcro all the time, then it would work.breefree7
13. Ultralight Bike Mirror

Product Details:
Designed for touring and commuting or just about anytime you need added visibility ultralite bike mirror offers versatility; light weight; and durability. at less than 2 ozs., it provides an amazingly wide field of view. can be mounted almost anywhere you need it on your bike-handlebars of all types as well as forks and challenging applications like recumbents.
Specifications:
Mount Location | Handlebar |
Assembled Product Weight | 0.2 lbs |
Reviews:
The clip won't fit round the handlebar on any of the three bikes I tried it on. Please remember that handlebars have additional padding of one kind or another. To be of any use these mirrors need a much longer strap to fit wider handlebar grips. The mirror surface is some polished metal not clear glass but you get what you pay for! It would have helped if the ad had said that it was metal and that its convex shape gives a wider but smaller view. I liked the flexible mounting so that the mirror could be turned to any direction upwards, downwards or sideways but it is no good unless it can actually be fitted onto a bike! Hope this helps.hargrich
Great mirror. Advantages over other bicycle mirrors include: 1. Doesn't have to be mounted on the end of the handle bar. This means it isn't in the way when the bike is put on a bike rack with other bikes. 2. Mounts on the handle bar with a ring that holds it in place and it won't fall or be knocked off and lost as other mirrors I have had and 3. the shape gives a wide view of the street behind me that is important for someone like myself who has problems turning the head to look back.REKa

Reviews:
If you hit a bump or road vibrations travel through your bike frame to this mirror, it will lose its position. Since the pivot points on the mirror arm are held together with rivets they cannot be tightened to hold this mirror in position. Bottom line is that this mirror is useless for biking. (Unless you like to be constantly be readjusting its alignment.) On the bright side, I've attached this mirror to my left rollerblading wrist guard. Since road vibration is totally dissipated by my body before it can get to my wrist, it works for skating. (Of course it takes a fair amount of ingenuity to fasten the mirror to my wrist guard.) If the rivets were replaced by screws able to be tightened by hand, it would be a great product.comet270

Ensure your own road safety and the safety of your children. the xsafe bike mirror is a great accessory for cycling when you are traveling alone or when you are on a cycling trip with your family, as you can constantly monitor them in the rear-view mirror. the xsafe bike rear-view mirror is light and extremely compact, so it retains its setting and adjustment even when driving on rougher terrain, such as road bumps, macadam or forest paths. the mirror has a convex shape, which ensures a wider field of view, and above all a significantly more stable image than in flat mirrors, despite the vibrations from the road. in addition, the mirror is 360 adjustable, it can be adjusted via two solid joints in all directions. installing the mirror is extremely easy – just insert it into the hole on the handlebar and tighten the screw. if you have a protective cap at the end of the handlebar, remove it beforehand. if you have rubber handles, you can cut a small hole in their sides and insert the mirror and tighten it. the mirror is suitable for both the left and right side of the handlebar.

I've been using this mirror for over 20 years now. I commute to work every day, mainly with traffic, and this mirror is a must-have. I can say it has saved my life many times, or at least, helped me to take the right decisions many times. It work perfectly, mirror is very well designed and adapts to virtually any helmet. Cons: It lasts about two years. With time joints start to get loose until they're completely free. You can use nail polisher or similar products to cope with that, but eventually you will need to replace it. Two years is a good life span anyway.rafaelbayonaco
This is the second time I purchased these Third Eye's. The first ones I had for 7 or 8 years. After moving them around for adjustment they were getting loose. Love the large size mirror and 8 years was a good length of time for my investment of Thirteen Dollars! I don't use the adhesive strip. I bored a hole in the foam edge of my helmet, trimmed the fan shaped mount to a point and epoxied the stem into my helmet. Mine is on my left side and my wife's in on her right side. Wouldn't buy any others!BestD
The design needs to be improved on. Purchased 3 of them; one for myself, wife and daughter. Our helmets are all shaped differently due to our head sizes. While the mounting part of the mirror is probably designed to be attached to a smooth continuous surface, unfortunately, that's not the case as our helmets all had ridges and the 2 way tape lasted only a week before the mirrors fell off. Should have considered handlebar mount mirrors instead.quon1949
