This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. I'm not sure how this product gets such good reviews. I expected much better from this brand. It's no better than something I could pick up at the drugstore for half the price. I had better luck with CeraVe. First of all, this smells terrible. It's supposed to be scentless but it smells like horrible chemicals. Second, it's a small bottle for the price. And I have to use at least 5-6 pumps to get any effect whatsoever which means this bottle isn't going to last long. Especially compared to Kiehls, which yes, is expensive, but in comparison I can used a pea-sized amount and it's more effective than 6 pumps of this lotion. I've been using this every day for two weeks and my skin is still dry. On the plus side, it hasn't caused breakouts for me like some of the other reviewers. But I won't be purchasing this again. I have been using this product since I was 12 years old, I used to steal it from my moms vanity (shhh don't tell her) it is perfect for combination skin to add The perfect glow for those of us that have naturally pretty "good" skin. I've never suffered much from acne beside the occasional breakout on my jawline or near the middle of my eyebrows (usually hormonal or from going too long without plucking them). This product is my all time favorite, it is gentle light weight and hydrating! 2 pumps of this product and your good for the rest of your day, it works amazingly well as a daily moisturizer and using it you will see a difference quickly. I'm using this as it came with the Great Skin Set for dry skin. I also add the Moisture Surge to cheeks and neck at night. I'm definitely a type 2 and live in a very dry climate. However, I started using this as instructed: " Spread all over face/throat twice daily, or where needed." After a week, chin broke out, my skin was greasy and foundation wouldn't blend naturally. I contacted customer service and they said I should only use it on dry areas, contrary to what the instructions state. I tried that and my face is tight and dry and ended up using moisture surge on top of it for day and night. Still not great, I'm using 2 pumps for face/neck and barely have enough to spread evenly but still feels greasy and hard to blend foundation. Definitely better to use the moisturizing gel and add moisture surge if needed. Unfortunately I still have 1.5 bottles left from my gift sets. I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.phoebe

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff. This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. I am acne-prone with a dry, damaged skin barrier. My skin is extremely sensitive and will not tolerate hyaluronic acid. I often get patches so dry around my mouth and chin that they flake off, even in summer. I’m sure y’all know how annoying that is, especially with makeup on. PROS : this moisturizer did not irritate my skin one bit – and i think they have a fragrance free version that’s even better for sensitive skin. It’s a fabulous mix-in with my foundation, really helps it look more skin-like. When I touch up my makeup I can usually just DAB (not rub) some of this on the flakes and they magically disappear, although you can use this as a makeup remover if you use a lot and rub it all off. I have pretty dry and sensitive skin, although my skin is too dry to use this on it’s in own in the winter. I find it works best for me during in between seasons, summer and layering it with other moisturisers. I always come back to this because it never irritates my skin. I love the scent, it reminds me of the french pharmacy in paris…the quality and texture is amazing as well. I don’t notice extreme benefits, but that’s not really what I look for from this product, it serves me well for always being reliable, hydrating, smooth and luxurious. I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. I have used Dermalogoca products for two decades. The past couple years I was trying other brands that cost less but was disappointed so I came back. Nothing else works as well for my skin as Dermalogoca. At 51 now, y skin needed more moisture than it used to so I thought I’d try this. This is a wonderful moisturizer and my skin loves it. It’s rich and creamy but not greasy. I have not had any issues with it irritating my skin or causing breakouts. It lives my skin hydrated and soft but not oily. I have used Intensive Moisture Balance faithfully, day and night, for at least a decade. My 82 year old Mom has done the same and has amazing skin, not weathered at all, totally supple and young. I notice that the recent tubes you are shipping out have slightly different packaging, with French writing on the front, different from what you show on your website. For some reason, the product isn't performing as usual. I have ordered several different tubes from the Dermalogica website, Nordstrom and Planet Beauty to test this out and my skin seems to be drying out, not nearly as hydrated and getting a bit red and irritated. I am confident something is different because I know this product so well. I have called Customer Service and can't get to the bottom of it. I was totally fine with the formula change made about two years ago, but currently, something isn't right and I may have to start shopping for a new moisturizer. I really don't want to because I would use Intensive Moisturizer until the end of time if it just performed as always. I've been using the Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance moisturizer for well over six years. I use it in the morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all day. A small amount goes a long way. I love this product and I feel it's worth every penny. I always make sure to purchase a second tube whenever Dermalogica goes on sale. I recently treated myself to a facial from a reputable aesthetician. She commented numerous times about how healthy my skin looks and complimented me on taking good care of it. Although I drink plenty of water, exercise and eat well, equally as important is using quality skin products. I give lots of credit to Dermalogica for their excellent products. This product is a miracle worker! I love how moisturizing it feels and my favourite is the added hyaluronic acid which locks in the moisture. I love using it after my face has gone through intense exfoliation because I can see it moisturized the next morning. I wouldnt use this if I had very oily skin, it would be ideal for dry skin or for areas of your body which need an extra moisture boost. Okay so it took me a bit to realize you shouldn’t be using this as the last step of moisturizing unless your skin is very oily. This is meant to provide moisture not retain and keep it in like most moisturizers. Which is fine because the effect when I use it more like a serum is amazing!! Plump and a glass skin like texture that looks hydrated without being oily! It also smells legitimately like a watermelon unlike most artificial scents. I like that it comes in a nice glass bottle and have already purchased again in various sizes after I received it as a gift the first time. I will say it is quite overpriced due to the amount you get and how much you can go through but the product itself is worth it so I took off one star. For context, I've been using this moisturizer all summer. I purchased the mini watermelon moisturizer and have used almost the entire bottle. I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and I had tried different creams and such to bring moisture back to my skin but nothing was really working. I use 1-1.5 pumps of this moisturizer twice daily and it has made a huge difference in my skin texture. Before I had patches of dryness which affected my foundation application but not anymore. Love the smell and that its very light weight, almost like a serum. I have oily skin most of the time (sometimes combo) but last year for a short time I suddenly had dry flaky & itchy skin patches and found out I suffered from skin dermatitis. Being sensitive to a lot of ingredients, I started researching skin care products & their list of ingredients to find something more natural and safer for my skin. This hit the mark, so I ordered from Sephora to try it out. This is fantastic that it doesn't make me oilier or feeling greasy on my oily days ( a little drop, 1 to 2 pumps goes a long way). I honestly use it as a serum most of the time for my nighttime routine, as it's so lightweight, I can add a moisturizer over it without getting greasy. I really feel like it gives me a nice brighter & naturally light from within kinda glow to my skin, without feeling like my skin is too dewy/shiny (being that I usually have oily or combo skin, I don't want added shine, so this is just perfect!) and it helps soften my skin too. I have always been a sucker for any skincare product that included roses, so naturally when I came upon this moisturizer I had to get it. It almost instantly became a staple in my skincare routine. The cream is soft and light on the skin and won't have your hair sticking to your face, as well as having a delicate and relaxing rose scent that is far from overpowering. Plus, you only need a little to properly moisturize your entire face! I often only used this product once a day at night, 1.6 oz lasting me somewhere between 3-4 months! Not too bad I don't think. I wanted to like this moisturizer and thought that I would given I've used other Fresh products with satisfaction. I have combo skin and have pesky dry, flakey spots since I moved to a dry climate. It's been challenging to find a moisturizer that absorbs really well into the skin, providing deep hydration to rid the dry patches while also not causing oilier skin or break outs. Though this moisturizer didn't cause any break outs, it doesn't deeply hydrate either. It sits and pills on top of my skin vs sinking in. My skin ends up feeling oily yet not soft or hydrated. Plus the pilling is just a pain when trying to apply makeup. I'll be returning and will continue hunting for a better moisturizer. As a licensed aesthetician of 8 yrs in the dermatology and med spa industry, I tend to take on a more critical analysis than most consumers when experimenting with new skin care products. Although I was gifted this face cream by the brand, I want to be clear that my feedback is based solely on my education background and experience. I feel like it's also important to note that when reading reviews on skin care products, keep in mind that there are several factors to be considered. An individual's skin type, skin conditions based on age/lifestyle/genetics, corrective and preventative goals, sensory preferences (feel and smell), budget, etc. are just a few of things that can influence someone's opinion. I am 32, combo skin type (can produce some oil in T-zone, but mostly dehydrated everywhere else), and prefer my moisturizers to feel somewhat heavy and leave my skin dewy. So I personally love the way this cream feels and looks on my skin, it definitely leaves my skin glowy and feels moisturized throughout the day. It also plays well with my sunscreen on top, no "pilling". In regards to skin concerns, my skin is usually clear, but can be prone to acne when I'm extra stressed or if I slacking off with cleaning my makeup brushes, slept with my makeup on, etc. This product does contain isostearyl isostearate and algin, two known pore-cloggers. However, these ingredients don't necessarily mean you will break out, just that you are more likely to if you are someone who is very acne-prone. I personally haven't had any new breakouts since using. Also, if you are someone sensitive to essential oils or strong scents, you may not be a fan of this cream. I don't have any issues with them though and actually love how intense the rose smell is! It lingers for at least an hour too, so fans of rose products should really enjoy that. I read reviews before buying this as I wanted a more affordable secondary moisturiser and I have been loving the Cataphil cleanser, so I wanted to give this a try. I would consider this a very basic moisturiser, with a clean finish and no greasiness, which is great, but not one that I would consider terribly effective or hydrating. It sits very lightly on the skin so might be more beneficial in summer when skin is naturally more plump, but in winter when I am writing this review, there is little to celebrate with this purchase. This is a very light weight cream. Feels rather water based which is great for my combination acne prone skin. I also have very sensitive skin with eczema on my nose. It does not irritate me or inflame my eczema at all. It hydrates my skin very well for day time use. I don’t notice any fragrance and nothing burns so that’s a huge plus. Highly recommend for day time use. I wouldn’t recommend this for night time use as I try to go for a heavier cream for night time routine. I have tried quite a few different drug store facial moisturizers and this is by far the best for me. I have very dry and sensitive skin. It turns pink easy (one light scratch and it stays pink for 15-20 minutes) and it flakes off. When I use this it gives me very minor irritation (a bit tingly) that goes away in a few seconds. It feels very light and absorbs quickly. It leaves the skin glowing. I'm lucky in that I don't have sensitive skin, I can literally put anything on it and it will still mostly behave itself. So why did I buy a cream formulated for sensitive skin? Because of the multiple occlusives at the top of the ingredients list (primarily squalane, but also shea butter and dimethicone). Occlusives form a barrier that prevent your skin from losing moisture and they're great for layering over other moisturizers like hyaluronic acid, especially if you have dry skin and live in a dry climate like I do. I layer this La Roche-Posay moisturizer over my Lumene Nordic-C Brightening Beauty Lotion (which isn't actually a lotion, it's watery like a toner). The two together leave my skin plump, hydrated and glowy without being shiny or greasy looking. It does take a little while to completely sink into my skin (about 30 minutes) but I don't mind because as I mentioned, it doesn't look greasy while it's soaking in. My skin feels so soft and it looks great, I've even been able to stop wearing makeup because this eliminated the dullness that my dry skin had. I also used this once right after I rinsed off a pumpkin enzyme mask that was burning/stinging my skin and it instantly eliminated the burning and provided immediate relief, it was so soothing!tesee
I really loved the cream, thought I'd be buying this for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, the fancy air-less pump stopped working on the last package I purchased. Now there is probably 2/3rd of the product just stuck in the container that I can't get out. This cream is too expensive to risk it getting stuck inside the bottle. I tried tapping it on the counter like the customer service rep suggested, but that didn't help. I have normal/dry skin and don’t ever get breakouts. However, I had a random breakout that gradually spread to different parts of my face. I figured it was some form of fungal acne, and so I had to switch to a moisturizer that would prevent more pimples but still moisturize at the same time. This cream did the job! It has all the right ingredients and none of the ones that worsen fungal acne. It’s lightweight yet still kept me moisturized throughout the day. I have never used any product from this brand and this one sadly is a NO for me. PROS: – It doesn’t leave a white cast. – Hydrating cream, with a nice texture (not too thin, not too thick) – It has glycerin,squalane and hyaluronic acid which are great hydrators. – It smells very good. I like scented formulas although it is not necessary. – Clean at Sephora CONS: – This cream doesn’t work with my skincare. It peels. This is a problem for me because I am not going to stop using my skincare, focused on anti-aging, to use this sunscreen. I would use another one on my face and leave this one for my arms. – It is a chemical sunscreen. I don’t have sensitive skin so I can use it but I can’t apply it around my eyes because it makes me tear up and I want sunscreen on that area because it is the most delicate. – If you apply the recommended amount for any sunscreen to be effective at the advertised SPF (1 teaspoon for the face), your will end up with a greasy looking face. It may have been part of the reason for the sunscreen to peel on me. – It has a lot of silicons, which I suspect are another reason for this cream not to work with my skincare. – It has a couple of essential oils. They give the cream a nice minty citrusy smell that I love but it is not necessary. They may be irritating for some so they should just not add them as they don’t provide any sun protection benefits. – I find it a little pricey. I’m sorry that this is a little long but I want to do this product justice because it’s worth it (and I’m a babbler). I have been struggling with dry, sensitive skin for many years now. No joke, the very first time I put this on my face the heavens opened up and angels started singing! Well, ok that didn’t happen but you get the picture! Immediately my face felt more hydrated than it has for a good 20 years now. I immediately ordered a bigger jar. Not once has this made my sensitive skin sting, even when applying it after I dermaplane with a surgical 10 blade. The instant and long term effects have been nothing short of amazing. I have not had dry patches on my face at all. That in itself is crazy. It plays well with my tretinoin when others make it pill, It absorbs fast enough to be used morning and night, it works wonders with my moringa oil and I have recently added polyglutamic acid with no problems as well. It could be the squalene in it that my skin has needed all these years, not sure, but I cannot believe I waited this long to try this miracle moisturizer. This is the most overrated overpriced lotion I have ever used. I suffer from dry skin already and my hands are worse than the rest because I'm always doing something with them that involves getting dirty and needing to be washed. After reading so many reviews on different kinds of lotions and everyone insisting this was the best I decided to try it. I noticed it wasn't working great first day but I decided maybe its one of those you have to keep doing. But now I've had this for awhile, used it daily and am am almost out and it absolutely has made no difference in my skin. It almost seems like it's made it worse because I find myself having to reapply this throughout the day. I was using Jergens before this and it worked much better than this. I also have used the super cheap suave lotion in the past and even with it leaving you greasy I would 100% use that again over this. Amazing cream! I use this in place of a night cream or on days that my skin feels dry and needs an extra boost. It's highly moisturising and non irritating, which is perfect for sensitive skin. Love that there is no unnecessary added fragrance either. Can be used on both your body and face. It's one of those products that actually does what it says and works so much better than high end products. If you follow Dr Dray on Youtube then you will already know that she also recommends this cream a lot as well, especially for people using retinoids. I've been applying it alongside my Differin gel to combact dryness from it's use. After washing my face, I rub in a thin layer of this cream onto my damp skin (to lock in moisture) and follow with Differin after it's dry. Using it in this way as suggested by Dr Dray reduces the risk of irritation, but still allows the retinoid to be effective. Even if you are using it on it's own, the Cerave Cream will work brilliantly to soothe and soften your dry skin. It has great ingredients including ceramides which improve skin hydration. When I first started using this moisturizer a few years ago I loved it. My recent purchase of this moisturizer hasn't been the best. I'm not sure if an ingredient has been added but I'm even more oily after I apply it. I started having continuous breakouts all over my face (cheeks, jawline, between eyebrows & forehead) for a month. I thought it was stress and other things. I decided to eliminate this product from my skincare routine just to see if it would help. My skin immediately started clearing up. I believe it's a good product just not for oily, sensitive & acne prone skin. I also noticed my make-up looking terrible by the end of the day. In the morning it would be fine, during mid-day I look like a oil stick. Today was my second day not using it under my makeup & my face is not oily at all & it still looks fresh! My pores no longer feel clogged! I still love the Farmacy brand & will continue to purchase other skincare items! I'm just praying my review will help you all come up with another moisturizer that's a little lighter, less clogging of the pores and less fragrances and ingredients.
The new formula ruined this moisturizer for me. I had a subscription and was obsessed with the original formula. The smell was the most amazing and refreshing scent. I always felt like I was transported to a tropical island, and applying it was my favorite part of my skincare routine. The scent just lifted me up and relaxed me. Now, the new formula has zero scent. The whole experience is non-existent for me as a result. The original formula also just felt better on my skin overall. I could even apply it right over and around my eye area, and never experienced any irritation. It actually helped soothe my eyes. The new formula burns! I’m so disappointed that the formula was changed so drastically. I really just hate this moisturizer now. It’s nothing like the original, which was my holy grail and addiction for years. If you’ve ever found a moisturizer you truly love everything about, then you know the devastation of not being able to get it anymore and how hard it is to find a replacement. I’ve been an avid user for years. The formula was perfect and never broke out my sensitive skin. UNTIL they changed the formula. I just purchased a new package and to say the difference is huge is a massive understatement. Whereas previously the moisturizer perfectly absorbed into my skin and truly had the oil free dewy glow you want, the new one adds this weird layer on top of your skin that just….sits there. It’s kind of sticky like it hasn’t fully absorbed and, this sounds dramatic, but it feels like it’s clogging my pores immediately. Like when you use a bad sunscreen, or a bad lotion in a pinch, and when you sweat you can feel that layer of sweat trying to come out but can’t and it just feels gross? Yeah. That’s how it feels almost immediately and then subsequently the rest of the day. You’re just sitting there not sweating and your face can’t breath or dry feeling. It gets worse, especially if you do end up outside and sweating. Needless to say, my sensitive skin that I actually had under continuous control for almost two years now looks like a battle zone with all kinds of breakouts coming up even in areas I don’t usually get them, like my neck. This product is a miracle worker! I love how moisturizing it feels and my favourite is the added hyaluronic acid which locks in the moisture. I love using it after my face has gone through intense exfoliation because I can see it moisturized the next morning. I wouldnt use this if I had very oily skin, it would be ideal for dry skin or for areas of your body which need an extra moisture boost. okay so starting off my skin isnt the best; it used to be worse than it is now but still not amazing. ive had issues with impetigo, eczema, bad acne in the past and overall very sensitive skin. i have to use specific products so i don't have irritation or triggers to these issues. its been around 2 years since they have started to slow down + washing my face twice every day helped quite a bit. i ran into this product and thought it would be good for my hygiene and possibly moisturizing my face,, so i bought it. for the first couple days i used it lightly on my face n it seemed to work okay yet i didn't see much of a difference. honestly, i forgot about it for a couple days therefore i came back to it after a bit. i decided to put a little more on than usual and it BURNED. i wasn't totally sure if it was supposed to do that so i just let myself suffer for a little while(stupidly) and came back to my face red, like almost tomato red. around the middle of my face. its been 2 weeks since this incident and its still red, yet not as severe. do not purchase if you have had past skin issues or current !!! it will do worse for yourself and leave you with redness on your face for a long while.eng
I dug up this picture from 2019 and found several more that I had taken during that time because I recommended this moisturizer to my friends so much. From 2017 to 2019 I only ever used this moisturizer in my skincare routine, and I never regretted it. It was cooling, soothing, absorbed fabulously, and never felt heavy on my skin, which was congested and dehydrated at the time. Since then my skin’s needs have changed and this gel doesn’t aid me in the way it did. My preferred delivery method for hyaluronic acid is now The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%. However, I still confidently recommend this gel to friends and family who could benefit from it, and most who’ve tried it have loved it so much that it is now part of their regular routine. One extremely important thing to note is that any product with hyaluronic acid like this one needs to be applied while the skin is still wet, because the function of hyaluronic acid is to bind to existing water molecules and act as a humectant. In general it’s better not to dry your skin before using any moisturizer in order to allow it to seal in the moisture. Those who dry their skin before moisturizing also tend to use a washcloth or towel to do so, and unless you literally deep clean these cloths right before each use, they will quickly and easily become breeding grounds for bacteria, and also collect dust and other particles that could irritate your skin or clog your pores.raiba.s
This was working decently for me but it is a placebo type of moisturizer. I was also simultaneously using an actual hyaluronic acid serum. All my positive effects were due to the serum. Also I had near constant breakouts when using this. Using the elimination method I removed this and sure enough I have no breakouts now. The product contains dye and fragrance so that is definitely the cause. The cream version doesn’t contain fragrance. Also, I had one very unusual and terrible experience. One time after washing my face after the gym I put this on my face after I had cooled down and this product gave me a chemical burn that took 3-4 days to recover from. I’m sure it was from this product as it was the only thing on my face when the burn occurred. That happened only one time however. I had used this product for months without any burns but still. The fact that this burned my face even once is too much for me. I am now only using hyaluronic serum and mixing it with differin moisturizer and no longer see the purpose of this product in my routine so I will no longer purchase it. I have super oily skin on my face, it always bothered me but i never did anything about it, I kept using the same old face cream since high school. Most moisturizers and sunscreens with result in major breakouts of painful cystic acne spots all over my face. If I use any products that contain any type of oil or other potentially comedogenic (pore clogging) ingredient, my skin suck it up into my pores and refuses to let go for a LONG time. Being an aesthetician, I am fully aware that even oily skin (especially oily skin, actually) needs to be moisturized. Oily skin is the result of an over production of sebum, the skins natural moisturizer. For people with naturally oily skin, whenever the skin senses it lacks an appropriate amount of moisture, it automatically produces an excess amount of sebum in order to provide moisture to the skin. While it seems counter-productive to add moisturizer to already oily skin, the opposite is actual true. By thuroughly washing your face then applying the right type of intensely hydrating moisturizer like Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream with Hyaluronic Acid, it actually help to regulate the oiliness of skin by providing the moisture it needs, eliminating the skin's need to over-produce sebum to provide adequate hydration to the skin. This is one of the only products I have found that provides intense moisture to my skin without clogging my pores or causing adverse side effects like most other facial moistures do to my skin.

My mother introduced me to this product as apparently it is French. The french have amazing skin and wanted to try it. If you're looking for an amazing moisturizer to combat dry skin without irritating it, this is for you. Just know that this does have a scent. Some scents do irritate some skin but this did not for me. I have been using this for about five days now and have noticed an incredible difference with my skin. It's not oily. It absorbs right into the skin. Some moisturizers that absorb too quickly into the skin are different because I feel as if i didn't get to enjoy it or see the difference. But with this moisturizer, it's not oily but your skin feels like it's drinking a big glass of water. Worth the buy!!stephanie.a
This cream is a lifesaver! I've been using it for about six months now and my skin has never felt so soft or looked so smooth. I have very sensitive, dehydrated skin that reacts badly to almost everything – dry skin creams usually either turn my face into an oil slick or don't penetrate at all and I'm left with itchy, flaky skin. This one absorbs quickly and completely and keeps my skin feeling soft and velvety all day long. It doesn't break me out, either, which is a nice bonus. Love it!Kay
I bought this cream on sale because I liked Bioderma Hydrabio Micellar water. I've been a repeat customer to their Hydrabio Micellar water for years, probably have used up close to 10 big bottles. So even though I saw many reviews about this particular cream peeling or piling up or balling on skin, I still bought it due to my current face cream crisis. I was so nervous when I first tried it, expecting it to all up like others said, but it didn't ball it. It stayed on my skin well, throughout the night and throughout the day (i used it am + pm), no peeling or balling up. It definitely is a rather thick cream texture, but its not VERY heavy on me. (of course it will be heavier than liquid lotion… but you cannot compare a cream of this thickness to liquid lotion alright?) Overall, I like this product. It replaced my other cream and kept my skin slightly more hydrated. And it made my skin smoother, mainly because my skin was bumpy and breaking out due to dehydration. So ya, if your face is DEHYDRATED (not dry, not flaky, just dehydrated) then yes this probably will work for you too. Also, the way I apply it is to use a little bit and rub it between my palms before applying to my face. I think it would easily peel off if you just put the cream on your face and try to spread it directly as it will be rather thick by the time its evenly spreaded on your face, and i think that's more prone to peeling. The only reason that this is not receiving 5 star is that I still like this to be even MORE hydrating but too bad its not there 🙁CP

EltaMD Recovery Light Moisturizer is a nice product that helps repair damaged skin barrier. It is dye-free, fragrance-free, gluten-free & paraben-free. I was looking for a lightweight moisturizer for the summer and I have had good luck with EltaMD products. It is definitely a light moisturizer best for normal to oily skin. It contains an AAComplex Technology which helps to repair damaged skin barrier. It calms skin and helps to minimize the risk of irritation. It’s also enriched with antioxidants to help defend against free radical damage. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it works better alone than with other products. Because of this, I only use it as a night time moisturizer. If you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer that dries down nice with added benefits, try it.
There are a lot of serums out there that don’t do much of anything. This one is different. I put it on when my face is feeling in special need of care — on top of my evening retinol treatment or in the morning if my skin is feeling in need of extra gentle care. And it does the job! It works beautifully with the EltaMD AM and PM moisturizers. In fact this is a product line where the products work better in combination with other products in the line. I was hesitant to try this serum because there were a few reviews about it causing breakouts. I was struggling with a few very dry, flaky patches on my face (my chin and on the side of my nose) along with small pimples on the end of my nose. I thought it was an age/hormone thing. I thought, "if it makes my breakouts worse, at least I tried" I have been using it for over a month and I LOVE it. I use this serum along with the EltaMD light moisturizer in the morning and this serum at night with my Clinique night moisturizer and I have achieved a lovely balance with my skin! Creams with hair-raising price tags such as this should come with grandiose promises. But this little glass tub of cold cream offers only two: to soothe damaged skin and then make it really, really (REALLY) soft. It does both marvellously and much more. Now this is the real deal! A true Iced Tea! But with a flavorful blend of raspberry. Which is perfect as the tartness of the berry against the tea is a pairing that sings! I've been drinking Pure Leaf bottled iced teas for a while now with very little flavor selection in the stores, so I am happy to see some expansion into other flavors by this brand. #Mint is not an easy flavor of Pure Leaf to find locally, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a single serve bottled #tea of it in the refrigerated case in the #Target grocery section as opposed to the checkout lane mini fridges.
