As soon as I saw this in my local store, I bought it. It had everything I had been wanting for a long time. I kept running out of solution in my other spray mop and having to take a set of pliers to it to fill it with a different solution. Then there was the box of pads I had to keep in stock at all times or I couldn't use it. This takes care of both those problems. Then there is the fact that I have been trying to use less harmful products when cleaning. Again, this is the perfect solution. You use your own solution for cleaning (I use thieves, pine sol, vinegar, whatever is needed for the occasion), put a couple tablespoons in the container, add water, and go. The pad washes up well, and I bought an extra so I could have one to put on immediately after removing the other so I wouldn't have to wait for it to be done in the wash. It washes great, scrubs well, and is great on my linoleum and finished hardwood floors. My husband also used a new pad to lay stain on our floors, and said it was better than the specialized tools usually used. He said it pushed the stain with a perfect coverage over the entire floor. I RATE MOP -100 percent! TERRIBLE! Honestly I would not give this mop 1 star but I had to to tell you how awful this mop is! It has bled blue dye in all white seal of my tile floors which are tan in color. Floor looks nasty, filthy dirty! I can’t seem to bleach this away. I can’t tell you how disappointed and angry I am. I’m older and can’t get down to scrub on it. Looks like I may end up having to have it resealed. Very expensive becuz of a stupid mop! 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Terrible! There are other blue mops out there that have never done this before. You should not have it if it’s gonna leave this dye all over my floor. I have a small business cleaning homes and some commercial properties. This is the mop i have used for years. It works great and it's much easier to use than any other twister mop i have tried. I used to but 10 at a time from Walmart when they had them but no longer carry them. I never bought replacement heads, because the pole was rusted and it was difficult to remove without breaking the mop. I still love this mop and have tried the microfiber one similar to this by rubbermaid. But they break very quickly because they hold more water than the cotton one. The last microfiber one i bought broke after one use. Junk in my opinion…. So i will continue to buy these because they are easy on your back and much user friendly
I live this mop!!!!! I have my own residential /commercial cleaning services and use only this mop. Have tried others and they don't stand up to the use and abuse that my business puts a mop through. This mop performance is outstanding! I have been using them for over 15 years and I agree that over time it has been more difficult to find in stores. So, I order online for in store pick up. I also feel the instructions need to be more detailed. Explaining that if the mop slips off the racheting sleeve at the top, it should be manually pulled back up and fitted back on the teeth of the sleeve. For the blue lint issue, take head off and wash it in the washer with white vinegar and extra rinse. I have had all issues described in these reviews however, it is mostly user error, unfortunately. I am now in the process of ordering due to a broken clip, but the clip on this mop is about 5 years old so I'm not complaining…I got my $15.00 worth. .. For a broken clip, find something plastic to stick through and your good to go until you can replace it. …it's worth it to me. …and hey. ..I've gotten a dud before. ..take it back before 2 weeks is up. The mop leaves my floors so wet and it takes about 20 minutes to let them dry with is not good if you have a some tipe of hardwood floor. Almost 200 less than the Cordless Bissell! great that you don't have to sweep your floor before you love your floor with this Little Gem! And how cool that it cleans its own roller when you put it back on its base. I also get more time from mine been a lot here have said the average is around 22 minutes. I get close to 35 minutes. this says that this is the item that I purchased, but what I received was one that was briefly released before it was labeled the new model. I get longer battery life. also if you register your product and provide your email address. They mail you a free roller. Which is very handy to have one drying while the other is in use. The price is great, I don't think you will regret your purchase. and just an FYI for those of you who are complaining about how the cleaning machine leaks. I just about bet you're not using the proper cleaning solution. I tried using something with a friend and it foamed up and leaked all over. Now I only use a floor cleaning solution. The Tineco iFloor 2 is an awesome cleaner! Unboxing the iFloor 2 was very easy, and it was packed quite well. It arrived with a partial charge and lasted about 10 minutes before I had to charge it. It's worth mentioning that the device didn't lose suction or roller strength at all during this period, and the device just turned off once there wasn't enough charge remaining. So, you can expect full power up until the battery requires a charge. Once fully charged, I was able to clean the entire house with the iFloor 2, and ran for a full 45 minutes. The power indicator was still solid, indicating there was no need to charge yet. It wouldn't surprise me if a full charge could last for a full hour in some instances! We have tile floors in our kitchen and one bathroom, and hardwood floors throughout the house, and linoleum in another bathroom. The iFloor 2 worked beautifully on our tile and hardwood, removing a ton of dirt, hair, and stains that were left behind after using a steaming mop just a few days ago (see picture for gross dirt water!). Regarding the stains in particular, we have tried many scrubbing techniquest through the years but we were never able to remove them from our tile. The iFloor 2 lightened or removed all the stains on our tile! I suspect repeated uses of the device will remove the stains entirely (here's hoping!). For the hardwood, we've never taken the time to mop and instead just vacuum. The iFloor 2 made short work of the dirt on the hardwood, and even removed a layer of dirty film we didn't even know was present. Our hardwood floors have never looked so good! The bathroom linoleum cleaned up easily too with the iFloor 2, and just "feels" cleaner when walking on it than after using a regular mop. Cleaning the iFloor 2 once the job is complete is really easy too. It has a self-cleaning cycle that takes care of the hard work for you by cleaning and rinsing the roller brush. The resulting water is then collected in the dirty water bin for easy emptying. The only concern I have with the device is the charging port. I have very mixed feelings about this machine. Ultimately I think if you’re looking for something quick and easy to clean up small messes, lightly dust, etc. this would work just fine. The suction is decent, and where it did clean, only with both mop and vacuum, it got some little unnoticed spills up and didn’t streak. The machine is quiet, maneuvers and works efficiently, and really feels nice to use. My two main let-downs with this is that it doesn’t seem to be very pet-hair friendly (despite what Tineco claims), and the machine doesn’t get close enough to baseboards/edges. I wanted to see how well the vacuum part worked without adding water/mopping. Not only was it aggravating that the machine seemed to blow air out and thus dog hair away, I couldn’t go more than a couple of passes before the machine would get clogged; I have a short haired dog and my floors weren’t that bad. It did work a bit better when I started using the water though. Next, I’ll have to go around with perimeter of half my house with my normal broom and mop because the gap of untouched floor is THAT noticeable. the closest you can get to a baseboard is roughly 1/2” on one side, and probably a good 1 1/2” on the other. I bought my 1867-7 Steam Mop in 2008 or 2009. While It may have not gotten terribly hard use, it still keeps going without fail or any problems whatsoever. As long as I can keep getting filters and mop pads, it will remain in service. We just moved from a house hard floors only in 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. Now we are living in a house with 2,000 sq ft of polished concrete floors. This little machine is going to get a real work-out! I had to order new mop pads that just came today -HURRAH- as the ones that I was using are still packed somewhere! We have also switched from city water to well water, so I will be very diligent about using distilled water.
For years I've tried different mops to clean my floors. Sponge mops, string mops and finally a cloth type, wringer mop. I like to be able to reuse mops, so I'm not in favor of throw-away types. My sister-in-law showed me her new Bissell and I was hooked. I love how clean it gets the floors, how easy it is to use, and the fact that I can launder the pads. I ordered 2 additional pads, as I wanted to be able to have plenty of clean pads while I'm mopping. I love the fact that I can use tap water, but so far I've used distilled water as it doesn't take much water to clean the floors and it saves the filter. Distilled water is cheap. The only thing I would change on this unit is the length of the cord — it would be nice if it were 30 feet or longer. As it is, I have to unplug the cord many times before I'm finished with the house.Sandra

Like others, I typically read reviews before making a purchase but this time based buying the steam mop on my own personal experiences and apologize for this seeming to be 2 reviews in one. Until recently I was a die-hard Shark fan and have been very pleased with each one I've purchased over the years. Yes, the vacuums tend to be top heavy and tip easily, but it was worth the phenomenal cleaning results. I thought that over time the hoses notorious for splitting and the lack of proper balancing would be worked out in time. And steam mops were simply amazing. Never were my floors as clean as using the steam mop and with zero chemicals. I have now purchased 3 vacuums and 3 steam mops over the past 5 years. Vacuum suction can't be beat in the price range (or even in higher priced vacuums for that matter). But my last experiences may very well result in being my last of shark purchases until a few things are improved upon – including customer service (simply because I should not have to purchase a replacement vacuum at a "reduced price" with no warranty within a year of my original purchase). Steam mops I've owned in the past had visible steam and worked fantastic. My last one barely steams and on numerous occasions I've actually picked it up to make sure it's even working due to the minimal steam output. I truly feel like I'm damp mopping my floors. I bought a Portable-Steampocket machine about 10 yrs ago and I still use and I love it more each time I use it! The only downside is that it's no longer manufactured because I'd love to gift the portable steampocket machine and kit to several people I know that will appreciate easier cleaning and without using chemicals! I did deduct one star in the design area because there is not an option to have continuous steam unless one hand is used to hold the steam-release trigger down. Which means my other hand has to either hold the hose/attachment OR support myself on the stepladder OR scrape. **My friend did come up with a great idea! I had made a mop out of a swiffer but it was too small so I was tickled to find this one. I read the reviews and there was another mop I considered but it has some cheap plastic on it and was breaking for people. This one is sturdy and does a great job. I have a seeing eye dog. She's a lab about 60 pounds. Needless to say she is one of the family. I never had an animal in the house until I got her. I had all the carpets removed because I'm so particular. Through the years I've tried all kinds of ways to keep the dog hair up. This mop does a great job. I push it every night. The hair collects in front of a closet door where I have a small vacuum to get it off the floors and off the mop. I don't mind the red handle someone else complained about — laughing! One thing– I did not get the extra mop head with my order. I reached out to Walmart who emailed me back and said they would send me one. So far I have not received it. I will send them another e-mail to remind them and I am sure they will make it right. They've never done me wrong before. I got this mop because this is what my mother always used. Now I know why. It's wide enough to where it covers alpt of floor space as you mop. The little micro fiber tentacles scrub sticky stains from the floor pretty well. What I like most is when I'm done moping I just toss the pad in the washer and ita good to go the next time I need it. I have 2 English Springer Spaniels and wasn't having much luck with the Swiffer catching and holding the dog hair, so I decided to try this. It's large and swivels to reach under furniture, so I pass it over the floors nearly every day. It catches the corners and quarter round molding also because of the long fibers. For a deeper clean, I wet it down with the wood floor cleaner and go over the floors. It cleans well and leaves a nice shine to the floors. After several uses, I just wash it out and set it out to dry. It comes with two mops for convenience. I hardly use my expensive floor scrubber any more. It's become a pain to take it apart to clean out the dog hair and the cleaner is expensive. This cleans just as well and my AC filter lasts a whole lot longer.TexasDeb

Having never used a wet vac like this before, all I can say is WOW! I admit, I was a skeptic. We regularly clean our hard floors so I really didn't expect to see any great results. That all went away after the first use. Great product. It makes scrubbing the floors a piece of cake. Starting with the overall looks. It's a really sleek machine. It's not bulky at all and allows you to get into the same places you would be able to with a normal stick vac. The white color is refreshing and adds to it's nice clean look. The charging base is as small as it can be, but even so, some might find it's footprint a bit large. But when you consider the self cleaning feature it offers, it's easy to overlook the size. The handle is very comfortable and the buttons are placed in good locations. All the indications and icons are displayed on the top of the clean water tank in easy view. They light as needed and let you know what you need to know about the state of your machine. To use the machine, you fill the clean water tank and add a cap of the included floor cleaner. When you turn the machine on, it automatically dispenses the water solution and starts the roller spinning. At the same time, it also starts the vacuum, so you basically vacuum up the water before it even soaks your floors. After using it on our laminate wood flooring in the kitchen, I just noticed a sheen after it vacuumed the water up. It was dry in about 30 seconds. If you've ever used a stick mop with a trigger spray feature, they left about the same amount of moisture. The difference was, the water that was collected in the dirty water tank was, well pretty dirty. There are two settings, a standard speed and a max speed. A few years ago, we got a cordless stick vacuum for our house. We love using it in-between our robot vacuum sweeps but we still end up having to mop the kitchen floor which is linoleum. Since we’re always looking for ways to make tasks more efficient, this wet/dry vacuum seemed like a good option for our family. When you pull the vacuum out of its box, make sure to look through all the packaging because there are additional parts included and I almost threw out the extra dry filter because it was tucked away inside some cardboard. Even though assembly is required, it’s very minimal. You have to attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum, plug the base into power, and then set the unit on the stand. Once the battery is charged, you can start using it. According to the manual, these are the steps you have to take for operation. Prepare for use – includes charging the vacuum for about four hours Press the power button to start the vacuum. It’s in ECO mode by default. There is a “MAXIECO” button that switches between the MAX and ECO modes. Before using the WET function of the vacuum, fill the clean water tank and add one bottle cap of the solution. The vacuum does come with a lot of parts, but some of them are duplicates so that you have your first replacement roller and filter with the original purchase. I always like it when companies provide that first part replacement. As far as operation goes, the vacuum is fairly simple. You press the power button and it turns on. If there the cleaning solution is in the clean water tank, the vacuum will both mop and vacuum simultaneously. If the water tank is empty, the vacuum will still run, but obviously will not provide the mopping function. The roller will still spin, however, so you do get a bit of a deeper dry cleaning than without it. There are two functions that I want to point out – one that I like and one that I don’t. The first is the fact that you don’t have the option to select wet or dry. You have to use both. The only way that I’ve found to vacuum only is to leave the clean water tank empty. The problem there is that you end up with blinking lights on the display, which can get annoying. The function I LOVE is that the vacuum is self-propelled. I was shocked when I turned it on for the first time and the vacuum nearly zoomed out of my grip. I just wasn’t expecting that much power from a cordless vacuum. I haven’t run into a battery problem yet. The manual states that on ECO mode the vacuum should run for 25 minutes. I haven’t had a single cleaning session last that long yet so I don’t know the ‘real’ life of the battery. The battery did have some charge out of the box. I did charge it some before using it the first time, but not the full 4-hours. I have been happy with the suction power of the vacuum and the cleaning ability of the mop, however, I did notice that any sticky spots or heavy stains will not be picked up by this vacuum. I ran the vacuum in our kitchen – moving it back and forth several times on each section of the floor. I noticed that the floor did appear shiny and wet so I know the mopping function was cycling the cleaning solution onto the floor. The floor did dry quickly I did think that it felt a lot cleaner than before I used the vacuum. I did have a couple of spots where something had been spilled and left to dry that the vacuum did not clean up. That said, a couple of lighter stains were removed if I left the vacuum sitting on top of it so that the roller brush could concentrate on that spot. I like the features of this vacuum and its ease of use, but I do wish there were a couple of things added on (a dry/wet option, a heavy stain cleaning option, etc.). I love that a base plate is included because that gives the vacuum a spot to ‘live’ in as well as keeps the roller off the floor as it dries. All in all, I think this is a nice device. We used to use those “easy” mops that have replaceable wet pads to mop our floors and they worked better than a mop and bucket but this vacuum makes it a piece of cake! The setup and operations were so simple that I thought I was missing something in the suggestions (instructions) but I wasn’t. I normally am the type of person that can pull new electronics out of the box and start using it without help but I had never used a mop/vacuum combo like this before so I read the suggestions. It is so simple, push the power button. If there is liquid in the clean water tank it will mop and vacuum. If that tank is empty it will vacuum only. When you are done just set it on the base and it charges automatically! The vacuum even cleans the brush by itself! There will be a “water drop” icon that lights up which means it needs to clean the brush. Just set it on the base and press the water drop button once and it cleans the brush for you! When you pull the vacuum out of its box, make sure to look through all the packaging because there are additional parts included and I almost threw out the extra dry filter because it was tucked away inside some cardboard. Even though assembly is required, it’s very minimal. You have to attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum, plug the base into power, and then set the unit on the stand. Once the battery is charged, you can start using it. According to the manual, these are the steps you have to take for operation. Prepare for use – includes charging the vacuum for about four hours Press the power button to start the vacuum. It’s in ECO mode by default. There is a “MAXIECO” button that switches between the MAX and ECO modes. Before using the WET function of the vacuum, fill the clean water tank and add one bottle cap of the solution. The vacuum does come with a lot of parts, but some of them are duplicates so that you have your first replacement roller and filter with the original purchase. I always like it when companies provide that first part replacement. As far as operation goes, the vacuum is fairly simple. You press the power button and it turns on. If there the cleaning solution is in the clean water tank, the vacuum will both mop and vacuum simultaneously. If the water tank is empty, the vacuum will still run, but obviously will not provide the mopping function. The roller will still spin, however, so you do get a bit of a deeper dry cleaning than without it. There are two functions that I want to point out – one that I like and one that I don’t. The first is the fact that you don’t have the option to select wet or dry. You have to use both. The only way that I’ve found to vacuum only is to leave the clean water tank empty. The problem there is that you end up with blinking lights on the display, which can get annoying. The function I LOVE is that the vacuum is self-propelled. I was shocked when I turned it on for the first time and the vacuum nearly zoomed out of my grip. I just wasn’t expecting that much power from a cordless vacuum. I haven’t run into a battery problem yet. The manual states that on ECO mode the vacuum should run for 25 minutes. I haven’t had a single cleaning session last that long yet so I don’t know the ‘real’ life of the battery. The battery did have some charge out of the box. I did charge it some before using it the first time, but not the full 4-hours. I have been happy with the suction power of the vacuum and the cleaning ability of the mop, however, I did notice that any sticky spots or heavy stains will not be picked up by this vacuum. I ran the vacuum in our kitchen – moving it back and forth several times on each section of the floor. I noticed that the floor did appear shiny and wet so I know the mopping function was cycling the cleaning solution onto the floor. The floor did dry quickly I did think that it felt a lot cleaner than before I used the vacuum. I did have a couple of spots where something had been spilled and left to dry that the vacuum did not clean up. That said, a couple of lighter stains were removed if I left the vacuum sitting on top of it so that the roller brush could concentrate on that spot. I like the features of this vacuum and its ease of use, but I do wish there were a couple of things added on (a dry/wet option, a heavy stain cleaning option, etc.). I love that a base plate is included because that gives the vacuum a spot to ‘live’ in as well as keeps the roller off the floor as it dries. All in all, I think this is a nice device. We used to use those “easy” mops that have replaceable wet pads to mop our floors and they worked better than a mop and bucket but this vacuum makes it a piece of cake! There will be a “water drop” icon that lights up which means it needs to clean the brush. Just set it on the base and press the water drop button once and it cleans the brush for you!
